In love with the idea of captain marvel being Billy's imaginary friend. Like, it'd be so easy. Early depictions had them as almost fully separate people sometimes, like one soul with two minds, rather than just two filters like we mostly see now.
But imagine a Billy down on his luck, hurt and hiding from police and criminals alike, daydreaming the hours away as children do, taking inspiration from all the superheroes rising to fame, making little stories to play out his dreams of saving the world with a generic action doll he found while dumpster diving once. Most of the paint's rubbed off.
Red's his favourite colour, his comfiest jumper is a bright ruby even after all the grime and washes. Gold, too, it's shiny and warmer than silver! A hero cape is a must, big and eye catching! And he can fly, of course, like superman, and in his daydreams, when he's sore and frustrated after a long day's grind, his superhero is smart enough and knows all the right words to get the bullies to stop without resorting to fighting.
His superhero fantasy is one he spends a lot of time on, the first one he goes for when struggling to sleep at night, and he can picture it so clearly. Captain marvel is big and bright and kind, strong enough to lift the boxes for the old lady up the road who's moving all by himself, fast enough to catch Jamie who fell out of the tree on Saturday and broke his leg and couldn't come to class for weeks. He appears at the entrance to alleys when Billy is cornered, he steps up behind to cover for him when he gets caught shoplifting, he sits at the bus stop with him when it's pouring rain and the right bus doesn't seem to be coming.
And then the wizard comes, or rather whisks him away, and like a magician from a fairytale breathes life into his imaginary friend until Billy feels thrice his size and a million times more invincible.
From then on, captain marvel is a real hero, just like Billy is a real boy, and as one they save the whole city, and then the whole world, and get cats down from trees and help Mrs Victoria move the last of her boxes and she gives them a pinch in the cheek and cookies for the road and sometimes it hurts but it's so much better than he imagined.

Every day in Janus Orden happen the same things, huh. Maybe Strickler wanted to make a joke out of it and Nomura didn't get it or Walter was a but too light-headed who knows. But I can say for sure that Nomura becomes very short-tempered when the conversation turns to her favorite things. And I respect her for it >:)
Thanks everyone who woted in the poll "which tea Nomura drinks" I couldn't do it without you <3

reposting content (especially art/creations) that isn't yours is theft. reposting content saying "not mine" without credit is still theft. saving content that isn't yours to your phone or computer or copy/pasting and making a post without credit is fucking theft. it isn't accidental. there were intentional steps involved. why is this difficult to comprehend. imagine how it would feel to have something you made (especially for free, often in the case of fandom) stolen and someone else taking credit for it or at the very least not giving you the credit you deserve for having made it in the first place

Itafushi Nation, I have something for you.
In numerology (the language of numeral codes), the number 143 means "I love you" and is often used by couples on communication apps or social networks.
Well, guess what chapter number Megumi and Yuji meet after Shibuya and we have the famous phrase "So start by saving me Itadori"?
Yes that's right.
143. 😏

Thinking again about how despite their radically different personalities and motivations both Walter and Ayre express a desire for 621 to forge their own path independent of what others want from them in their respective post-credits scenes

I am here to cause you more pain.
So technically, Amane currently has an overall guilty percentage. (51.66% guilty - 51.32% innocent = 0.34% guilty :(((((( ) Therefore, I am asking what flavor you would add to LCSYS, and how would it differ from Muu, if- *runs away*
*cracks knuckles* *cries*
Okay, so if Amane is one of the final guilties, I have two major directions I’d take Es’ remorse. The first and most prominent are their similarities to one another. Es would reflect on how they really are just about the same age. Both had limited knowledge of the world when arriving in Milgram. Both saw killing the guilty as their duty. I’d make a lot of physical comparisons: when Es sees themselves in the interrogation room mirror they might be struck with the fact that they look as small as her. Maybe their hair has grown out a bit and looks like hers. They’re hit with the thought that the only thing separating themself from Amane really was the clothes they were wearing -- so why did Es alone have the right to choose her fate?
The other, even more evil route that I’d take would be comparing Es to Amane’s mother. I don’t know exactly how executions will go, but something tells me Milgram is going to put us through hell hearing the prisoners’ last words. Es would reflect on Amane’s apologies and pleading, and realize that her mother heard those exact same cries, and ignored them in the exact same way. I’d tie in some Purch March lyrics about Amane’s desperate “I’m sorry” once again going unheard. It wouldn’t be painting Es as a villain per se, but the comparison would communicate that Amane was a victim in her life way more often than she was a perpetrator. That no matter how hard she tried to be a good girl, there would always be someone in front of her ready to punish her for it.
