“Fine, if that’s how we’re playing it.” You sucked your teeth and turned back to the laundry, folding the last remaining shirt and then moving over to the closet. Arthur’s light footfalls followed you, keeping just enough distance to keep you interested. “Tomorrow, I’m meeting up with Lois, and Clark but I really think he just invited himself. He’s got some serious fomo.”

Your fiancé reached around you and plucked up a pair of underwear from his pile as you were putting everything away. You fought the urge to look back at him, knowing that if you did, you would just be giving him what he wanted. You cleared your throat and kept talking. “So you’re welcome to come along if you want, I doubt Clark will want to listen to me and his wife having girl talk.”

There came a muffled thud from behind you, and out of the corner of your eye, you caught sight of his white towel now a heap on the floor. You could vaguely see his naked legs out of your peripheral vision, you were tempted, dear god were you tempted to just look up a couple more inches. Your grip on the now empty laundry basket got tighter. “And um, your mom wanted to go wedding dress shopping this weekend but- fuck.” 

You made the mistake of turning around once you believed it was safe but instead you were met with the glorious view of Arthur’s mostly naked tattooed body, wearing only the tightest, smallest boxers you had ever seen. That bastard knew you were close to breaking.

So go get a bottle of wine, a nice one, and leave me alone until we have to go.” Looking like a kicked puppy, Arthur whined and left the room, shooting you a sad look over his shoulder.

You huffed. “And put on some clothes you slut!”

Arthur had homework, and as pathetic as that sounded, it was resoundingly true. In order to get the Atlantean king more involved in Justice League business, Bruce had given him a stack of files on various villains to read through. Begrudgingly, Arthur had complied, of course with a little motivation from you but Batman didn’t need to know that.

So once a week, he would hole himself up in your little office at the back of the house and study. As soon as the door shut behind him, you set your plan into motion.

Making sure the shower was extra hot, you stepped into the stream of water. You stayed in just long enough to quickly scrub your body in your extra fancy body wash and to make sure you were completely soaked. You grabbed the smallest towel you could find (coincidentally it was the same one Arthur used only three days ago) and wrapped it around yourself as best you could while not completely drying off. The grumbling coming from behind the office door told you all you needed to know. You smothered the smirk on your face behind a concerned expression and quietly entered. His huge figure was hunched over your desk, a large pile of paper in front of him, his unruly hair tied up messily out of his face, exposing the way his nose scrunched in confusion.

“How’s your work going Art?” His shoulders visibly relaxed at the sound of your voice. 

“It’s going,” he responded with a grumble, turning in his seat to face you but froze quickly, “Queenie, what are you wearing?” Playing dumb, you looked down at your scantily covered body, still wet and warm from the shower, then back up to your fiancé.

“Oh I just took a shower, is that a problem?” He furiously shook his head.

“Nope, nada. You take allllll the showers you want lovey.” He looked at you and it seemed like he was about to get up from the desk to attack you but the files caught his eye once more and he deflated. You grinned victoriously. “Except maybe not today,” Arthur winced, “I have a lot of stuff I have to get done.”

“How would me being all wet and steamy be a problem for you my king?” Your voice took on a sultry tone, one you only used in the bedroom and it had an immediate effect on him. His eyes instantly went dark with lust and his fingers curled into a fist.

With a herculean effort, Arthur forced himself to turn away from you and focus back on his work. “This has to get done so can you put on some clothes? I can’t concentrate.” 

“Oh baby, I’m so sorry. Let me get out of your way, I know how important all this is and how you can’t be distracted.” You purred as you walked back to the door, making sure your hips swayed sensually, just the way he liked. “Come find me when you’re done.” And then you dropped the towel.

You just make the oatmeal like a regular bowl of plain oatmeal (probably a little less watery)

You've tasted a few of the selections already but none of them garnered quite the reaction you were displaying now. Your manners are long forgotten as you moan about how good it is. The foodie in you is in heaven, sighing intently as the flavors marinate on your tongue. God! Your tongue. Spearing between your lips, licking them slow. Your eyes nearly crossing. your legs bouncing under the table just as you break into your signature involuntary yummy dance. The display brings a smile to his face and a sudden heat arises within him. Kento leans in close to swipe away the icing from the corner of your mouth. He licks the treat from the back of his thumb, his thoughts easily being led astray by the way you test his composure. Your dress keeps shifting a little further up your thighs every time you turn to him holding the spoon up to his lips. But it's not quite this little incident alone that gets him. It's more the way you try and hide the sudden hitch in your breath the moment his hand finds your knee under the table. Yes. That's it. He can turn the tables on you now. His princess is incapable keeping a straight face when hands as brawn and adept as his are, slyly start slipping further back so he can squeeze your thigh, effortlessly making your chubby leg feel slight under his palms. You just barely save face but don't think he doesnt notice the way you immediately divert your gaze when you lock eyes with him. You're all too familiar with that arduous stare and what comes after. A mix of apprehension and excitement forces your eyes wide as you sit straighter, clenching your thighs as though that would ever stop the sudden tightening in your core. His fingers delve further between your legs, coming so close to your heat that you twist in your seat reaching to catch his hand. You shoot off a look in the bakers direction who luckily is too preoccupied with plating the next round of desert combinations to notice. Your attempt to stop him is met with his fingertips digging into that sweet spot between your thighs to tickle you. Nanamin. You whisper accenting his name with extra letters as you try to situate your dress. Saying his name like that? You must want him to lay you out on this table and turn you into desert. His hand stays exactly where it is. Even as the baker returns none the wiser to your fiance’s naughty advances. This time, it's his turn to taste and the desert is definitely mouthwatering. But he’s willing to bet it'd taste even better if he could savor it directly from your mouth. One lingering look at those lips and he’s sure. He chews slow, eyes simmering. temples flaring, his jaw tensing… his hand still squeezing. His stare indicative of the racy thoughts occupying his mind.

Its more than just that cake he wants to devour.

And I don't mean the one on the plate 😝

finds the key ingredients: -tragedy ((((all made to look like his parent's death and his almost death look like an accident and probably forcefully turned by dumbass Benny who was promising a better life -screams into a pillow- this round it being Norton who brought Benny into the life of his family (cause of the promises of better lives) which then ultimately ruined the family. something nice and heavy and awful to blame himself for) ((will there be an au where Benny isn't bad? dunno LOL maybe one of these days BUT NOT THIS DAY )))) ✅ -sealed away (after everyone realizes he can't be controlled and tried to blow it all and himself up), so he has that claustrophobia and fear of complete darkness ✅ -is starved from being sealed away for so long ✅ -Grumpy, jaded, and angry with a 1000 yard stare ✅ -only talked to the spooky green eye before he was sealed away (is also the only one who could talk to the spooky green eye) ✅ -When he is accidentally let out, he has abilities that wake up within him and now has access to what Fool's Gold can do. But super out of control until he gets that hunger under control first ✅ -instead of a bat form he has his Fool's Gold like form ✅ -sprinkles a little Case of Vanitas in there with- able to see some memories of those he takes blood from. Likely how he sneaks a peek at flashes of Alice's past after stealing some of her blood in a vial. So he sees those memories when he is alone. -I am also getting a sense that he doesn't like drinking blood from the source. He likes to drain it collect it in containers and drink it later so he doesn't feel as disgusting or disgusted. He seems like a guy who collects and saves rather than takes and wastes.

Now as for who let him out, -points- Orpheus LOL

Orpheus likely makes a deal with him, 'meh I need people killed and you need blood sooooooo, what do you say?' and boiii does Orpheus deliver 🙃 BUT when Alice arrives in place of another, things get tricky. Cause now Norton has different instructions for this one. To mess with her so Orpheus can swoop in and be a hero and friend to get her to join him again like in childhood. Norton doesn't EFFIN CARE 🤣 and is just expecting to be given extra blood in place of what he is loosing in letting Alice stick around longer, but he ends up caring which is alarming to Orpheus. A vampire getting his dead heart to care again rarely turns out well for those in the blood business/deal with them pff. And I bet there was more to the deal, that its a bit more binding than anticipated so this could cause some huge problems.

I am sure Alice will figure it out lol 🤣👏👏👏

but before that I am sure there are some scenes like:

-Norton with Alice and placing his hand in line with the sun to show that it does hurt and he does this to feel something, er rather, a different sort of pain than the constant gnawing sort that plagues him 24/7 Then making a dry joke about how he is afraid of the dark yet stuck in it.

-Alice finding out that Norton is haunted by the people he successfully blew up, haunted by the innocent and the guilty but it all feels the same. Then finding the spooky green eye and wondering whatever that is and what is it doing. She can sort of hear its whisperings but not like Norton can. The fact that she can kind of hear anything from it at all is impressive in its own right lol

-Both Alice and Norton feeling gentle touch for the first time in ages (this goes for og Norton and Alice also honestly -cries-)

-Also Benny gonna return fr fr so that won't go well cause I have him mondo baddie in this lol

Its all very interesting veerryy interesting lol

Helllloooooo! Feels like forever since I updated.

We had a really nice Thanksgiving! We spent it with my family at my parents house and it was a day full of yummy food and laughs and games.

On Friday we headed to Iowa to spend the weekend with my MIL. I wasn't super looking forward to it but it ended up being fun. She made lasagna for dinner on Friday night (my fav!!!) and then we watched Home Alone 2. I slept like absolute garbage which is why I really don't like going there. Saturday Cole went hunting so Knox, my MIL and I were lazy all morning and it was great. We watched a Hallmark Christmas movie and stayed in our jams until lunch time. Knox took a nap which is unheard of these days but we've been going non stop. Cole and I got to sneak away to Des Moines and have a little date after he got done hunting and that was really nice! We did some Christmas shopping and had dinner. It started snowing while we were there so the hour drive back in the dark was notttt great but we made it safe it and sound.

We woke up this morning and had breakfast and then headed back home. I got us all unpacked and started laundry while the boys played in the snow and built a snowman. Now we are just relaxing! I think I'm going to start a new book. I have tomorrow off work and I'm so glad. We've barely been home since Wednesday. Knox is off school too so we are going to have a lazy day together! The only thing we need to accomplish is the grocery store but that's fine because we will get TB for lunch while we're out 😂👏🏻

Oh, also. We took separate cars to my MILs because Cole went straight to the farm to hunt so we were taking different routes. About an hour into our drives Cole calls to let me know he stopped at a gas station and his truck wouldn't start back up. 🙃 We were trying to figure out what to do because I was pretty far from him and he was pretty far from home and a tow that far would have cost a ton and it was just a mess lol. He was confident it was his starter because I guess it's been going out for a while. I was pulled off the highway getting us a snack and I was like oh there's an auto part store right here. Call and see if they have your starter and I'll head your way. They did have one, but by the time I got it bought his truck had started so he was able to go on his way. That was another $300 though. When it rains it freaking pours lol
