Character stickers are live at the website and our Etsy!

We've started with the Dresden Files (by request), and OFMD, but the Locked Tomb is on the way, followed by Good Omens... hopefully sometime this week to coincide with our Spring Break sale over at our Etsy.

These are water-resistant matte laminate vinyl stickers, and they're pretty big -- bigger than our mega-sized bookmarks. 4" and full colour.

I was twelve when I read my first Stephen King novel, and I've never looked back. Ghost stories, haunted houses, the mystical, the magical, the spooky — it's been the backbone of my interests and this little company for as long as I can remember, and I hope to better honour that moving forward.

Happy to present one of our first odes to scare-craft: our first holographic vinyl sticker inspired by talking board planchettes (also known as the venerable "ouija" planchette.)

It's 3" tall and 3.6" wide, printed in full colour on water-resistant vinyl stock, and finished with a high gloss holographic vinyl laminate that sparkles in the light.

This sticker is available in our shop, at our Etsy, and on our brand-new Ko-fi starting today.

I love vinyl stickers.⁣ ⁣ This is the greatest understatement, because when I find a new material I like, I want to use it everywhere. I've had an itch to work on a Book Shop design for a little while — it's been on my wishlist of designs for forever — but I guess I was holding back on actually designing something because I didn't have a great way to translate it into the format I wanted. ⁣ ⁣ Enter: the awesome matte vinyl laminate that has a silky texture and protects my sticker prints and can handle a splash of water. ⁣ ⁣ So, then I guess I got a little carried away? I have nine designs for shops from a Little Town, all inspired by fanfic AU settings. You know when you read the first book in a series/universe and you have the next on hand, but you feel the urge to save it because once you've read it there won't be another to fill the void forever and ever (or maybe just a very long time)?

Right. So Legends & Lattes has consumed me, and while I have Bookshops waiting, I won't know what to do with myself in the aftermath of having read it (apart from flailing.)

I'm still chewing over a lot of the new lore that came out of the Ahsoka series, and top of my list is another one of those questions about the nature of the Dark Side and how a Force adept's approach to it can result in corruption evidenced in their appearance ("Sith eyes" for example) or not... as is the case with Baylan Skoll and Shin Hati.

Dark Jedi, I guess?

Are we going full-circle back to legends? (Paging the first who landed on Korriban because I have some questions about the aesthetic.) 😂

Awe, yiss: one more week until vacation, frens. Got some last minute hustles to take care of in the interim:

We're celebrating the return of OFMD with our gentlebeard bookmarks. I love Stede's costume from season one. Floppy hair. Super cute.

This week on our Etsy, we're running a Friday the 13th sale just because. It's October. We're watching horror movies. It's a mood.

The shop will be on vacay mode from Oct 14th to 23rd inclusive, but everything will ship before we shut it down for the week we're travelling.

I keep trying to dodge making a Darth Sidious bookmark.

I know eventually it'll happen, but I hate the guy (I say as I'm reading Plagueis right now and maybe I'll walk away from the experience feeling like he's fascinating in a horrifying sort of way. We'll see.)

This collection is a bit of a weird mishmash of Legends/EU characters from various sources including the video games and the comics and the novels, and you know, I'm good with that because I develop obsessions with the Sith in little bursts whenever I stick my hands into the EU and close my fists around them.

Maybe we'll end up with Naga Sadow or Sorzus Syn one day just for fun. For the moment, the Dark Lords of the Sith includes Darth Bane, Darth Talon, Darth Nihilus, a fem! variant of Revan, and Darth Malak as a five-bookmark collection offered in mini and mega sizes.

We've got a slew of other Sith Lords and Legends and canon characters on the site if that's your jam, so feel free to explore the GFFA. :)
