-You were the youngest of the Valkyries, not necessarily by age, as you were an adult, but you were the newest warrior to become a Valkyrie, so by default, you were the youngest Valkyrie.

-You were a complete and utter cupcake mixed with rainbows and sunshine- it was impossible for anyone to hate you or even be mean to you and if they did that was an invitation for an immediate ass beating by those who loved and cared about you.

-Many knew of you and knew of your beauty- you were one of the most highly sought after females in Valhalla and so many wanted to marry you and have you for your own.

-However, they also knew what an airhead you were- you had no idea who was a god and who was a human, being nice to anyone you came across, which many enjoyed, and they couldn’t help but laugh, seeing that you were such a ditz.

-However, despite your ditzy nature, you were still a Valkyrie, a battle maiden, so you knew how to fight, but you only ever fought if someone around you was being accosted or if you were hit on, as you hated hurting others.

-Adam- your adoptive father and Brunnhilde taught you- since you were an airhead, that if anyone ever asked you to marry them, to bitch slap them and run to one of them or Eve and they would handle it from there.

-Many complained to Adam and Brunnhilde about wanting to marry you, but due to their training and their threats, protecting you, they couldn’t get close to you without potentially upsetting you or getting slapped…. Or getting threatened by your big sisters and father figure.

-You greeted Zeus and Odin warmly when they approached you, you had learned that these two were both gods, and some of the most powerful ones and they both greeted you in return before Zeus spoke, “We have a question for you Y/N- have you ever thought about dating?”

-Before you could wind up for a slap, Odin spoke, getting your attention, “Not us! We just wanted to know what your thoughts were about dating.”

-You smiled warmly, filling them with a warm fluffy feeling, “I never really thought about it- Papa and my big sisters told me that all men are animals and they don’t deserve to marry me!”

-The two thanked you for your answer before seeking out Brunnhilde and Adam to demand they fix the problem they had created because Odin wanted you to marry Thor and Zeus wanted you to marry Hercules, Hermes, Ares, or Apollo.

-They were met with laughter, amused by their plight while Odin and Zeus didn’t find it very funny because their sons all really liked you.

-Before Adam could say anything there was a resounding SLAP sound coming from outside before you ran in and right into Brunnhilde’s arms before they saw Apollo twitching on the ground nearby, a red handprint on his face.

-You sniffled softly, looking up at Brunnhilde with teary eyes, “He asked me to marry him then wanted to see my panties!” Zeus, who was originally mad to see that you attacked his son, immediately forgave you as he nodded softly, something Adam saw as Adam stormed out to have a word with Apollo.

-Odin sighed softly, as this conversation wasn’t going to go anywhere, “She may want to marry one day, Brunnhilde, someone that she won’t slap when he asks her.” Brunnhilde just bowed her head, “And I understand this, Lord Odin, and I will support Y/N when that time comes, but for now, I will protect her from those who make demands of her.”

-Odin relented easier than Zeus did, who tried to whine and complain to Brunnhilde who immediately threw him out.

-She sighed softly, hugging you close as you sat together on the couch, “You haven’t found anyone that you don’t want to slap, have you?” you cupped your cheeks gently, turning from her with a shy blush which made her freeze in shock before she patted her head, “You’re strong- you’ll be able to handle whoever it is.”

-You beamed up at her, thanking her before thinking about the man who had caught your eye, wanting to keep it a secret a bit longer.

SHES SO INTERESTING. She’s so interesting. A child from a forgotten land who can never speak of the memories there who kept losing more and more of the people she loved until she is so harshly ripped away from a family she was never allowed to know and now while she is surrounded by people who are courteous there is a certain distance between them. they want to care they really do but sometimes all they can see is the child they lost instead of the one they gained. She’s persevered through so much and maybe getting to join Corrin on their journey was a good thing, she got to meet someone who really got to know her. You probably already know I am a sucker for leokumi <3 but I love Leo & Odins supports so so much. Book nerd prince & his little cringe lord scrimblo. Also Laslow/Keaton is just insanely funny. Keaton showing him cool bugs he found that Laslow hates but is still doing better than everyone else is who thirsting from afar.

CANT FORGET LASLOW & ELISES SUPPORTS. She just ends his life unironically it needs to be in the hall of fame. + that moment when Sakura tells Subaki that what he probably thinks is the most embarrassing moment of his life is exactly why she picked him. Subakis supports in general too hes so mean it’s great

Also I think Niles & Keaton have the potential to be the most dysfunctional couple ever. I think they should talk. None of Niles usual shit would work on him itd be funny I think

sif and the big red headed guy (I cant remember his name I'm sorry) are obviously bringing the other stone here upon king's orders. loki's orders. because loki knows thanos is out there looking for them and possibly even him. keeping both in the same place would make it that much easier for thanos. - geeking out over magic books (+ other asgardian literature) in asgard’s library bc the sanctum library is great but could you even IMAGINE how incredible the library in asgard would be

- strolling the palace gardens and loki’s pointing out all these different asgardian plants to stephen bc he knows p much everything from frigga and stephen’s just like wow. hes so fucking cute

- loki taking stephen to some personal place from his younger days that he likes to hang out at and stephen’s like “wow this is beautiful” and loki just looks him dead in the eye and goes “not as beautiful as you” (+ stephen being touched that loki trusts him to know about this place that’s obviously very personal to him) 

- loki showing stephen all the different realms and stephen’s just drinking everything in because holy shit this is whole other REALMS and he has his own personal GUIDE (who happens to be incredibly attractive and incredibly good at sarcasm) and loki’s ecstatic to tell him everything because this is someone who’s actually listening to what he says and not dismissing his every word and also stephen’s excited questions are adorable

I’m not gonna lie. I’m writing a Loki fanfic (set in Thor 1) and I cannot unsee the perception of Frigga your posts have made. Like...wow I literally can’t unsee this. I mean I looked at Thor 2 through a “well she’s about to die so let’s give her words meaning” sense but now...*distressed noises*

You can present Frigga as nice and caring even if she’s canonically not so, but if we’re taking what we’ve actually seen of her then she just isn't the kind angel many claim she is and this is made very clear in Thor 2 in case it was too subtle in Thor 1. 

I agree that it is especially distressing to remember that Frigga was the pinnacle of love/affection Loki received from Asgard and while Loki being able to recognise her manipulation and resist the gaslighting was extremely satisfying to see it also meant he realised the only constant source of love he’d received his whole life had been conditional to his submission. 

I apologise for any distress changing your opinions on Frigga may have caused but I have to admit that now I’m rather tempted to do a line-by-line analysis of how every piece of dialogue she gets makes her treatment of Loki even worse, especially when compared to her treatment of Thor.

#it is VERY alarming that Loki had to deal with a flat-out abusive environment for so long #it is extremely impressive that he came out of the environment as he did though #there's nothing wrong with writing Frigga as being nice and genuinely caring for Loki #Loki in Thor 1 realised that Frigga was emotionally manipulating him when she gave him the throne and you can tell by his reaction #he didn't actually get to act on that realisation and voice it out loud until she very explicitly bribes him to accept odin as family again #the entire family dynamic is just Loki getting treated badly and being pushed around and suffering and just accepting but hating how it is #he finally snaps and even if the attack on New York wasn't his fault he takes the punishment anyways #he finally snaps and refuses to associate odin as his father and when it ultimately comes to it Frigga as his mother #he still loves Frigga and arguably Thor #but he tries to move on and doesn't care for the approval of those who made the environment toxic for him anymore #that's what the ending of thor 2 is #he doesn't keep odin around to gain his approval by showing that he COULD take the throne with his own strength if he wants #nope he just gets rid of odin because he doesn't care what becomes of him anymore #he couldn't care less for thor's approval and instead shows him more love in 2 lines while disguised as odin than the actual odin ever did #if anyone in the family should be compared to an angel its loki and not frigga #oh? she gave him some books to keep himself entertained? while also criticising his use of illusions to conjure his own sense of escapism? #she had the decency to see him in his cell? as an illusion? To try and bribe him back into their abusive family? how cute #and lets not forget her casual banter with odin in thor 2 #she wasn't even mad that loki was in prison for crimes smaller than anything thor has ever done #i guess i cant blame her for caring for odin since she's stuck with him until she dies but oh well #I don't think her dying later is any excuse for her actions in life though #it dismisses her words as much as it dismisses odins actions when he dies #dying doesn't mean automatic forgiveness or redemption for anyone #especially not if the death was kind of pointless anyways

Dude I remember when I couldn't watch the Crash Course ep(2) bc I thought it was boring but I've come to appreciate it more. IT'S JUST SO FUNNY! We have the twins being... Well the twins and then we have proud, overprotective Snotlout SINGING TO THE BABY FIREWORMS 🤩

No bro but the way Hookfang and the Fireworm Queen combined their firepower

and then he took you to midgard, the only thing you knew about it was that the people were weak and irrelevant

but when you met the midgardians, you only met warriors (mind you, you had just landed in the middle of a battle)

going out of your way to save as many as you can, it just felt right

she realized that the horrors inflicted by your mother were not a reflection of your character, you could be guided by valkyrie instead

and him telling you who jane was

Fire and Ice: Chapter 4

Chapter Summary: you get to meet mor of the team members and you get adjusted to your new life in the tower. Loki is still giving you the cold shoulder.

Thor showed you the rest of the tower before leading you down to the living room where the rest of the team was.

"Lady y/n, this is the living space. Most of the time this is were everyone is together. Meet the avengers." You gave a slight wave to everyone that was there. You notices Nat and Clint sitting together toward the back of the room and smiled, Bucky and Sam were having some sort of disagreement while Steve just laughed shacking his head. When he notice you he stood walking over to greet you.

"You'll have to ignore those two. If theres something to disagree with they'll find it. Steve Rodgers ma'ma, pleasure to meet you." He stuck his hand out shacking yours.

"Nice to meet you too Steve. I've heard a few things about you. My roommate is a big fan." You smiled. Looking around you noticed Loki sitting by one of the windows staring straight at you, you felt your heart flip a few times before smiling at him. He rolled his eyes and went back to reading whatever he was reading. "See Thor, he absolutely hates me." You whisperer.

"Hes just trying to adjust." Thor placed his hamd on your lower back guiding you through yet another door. This one lead to a high tech lab where Tony and Bruce were at.

"If it isnt the man who completely uprooted me, brought me to a undisclosed location, and didnt take no for an answer. Its a pleasure to meet you Mr. Stark." You smiled sticking out your hand.

"Now in my defence I didnt bring you to an undisclosed location. I think everone knows where the tower is located. But after the compound is built no one is gonna be able to find us." He laughed taking your hand, you noticed him looking you over. "Your smaller than I would have imagined. Complete opposite from what I had compared you to. Not as .... Ummm... Pointy." He made a weird jester with his hands. You could only assume he was comparing you to Loki.

"Well as they say Mr. Stark, I do have horns holding up this halo." You laughed.

"I like her. Lets just get rid of reindeer games and keep her." He said pointing a screwdriver at you smiling. "Oh, heres this, state of the art Stark Macbook and Stark Phone. Online classes start for you Monday, you have all your normal classes. They will just be broadcasted to you on here, yes you can go back and rewatch them but you do still need to be there for the live feed also. If you need the book heres a card, use that for you. No limit." He handed you a black Mastercard.

"I truly appreciate it, really, but I cant take this." You tried handing it back.

"You can, you will. Everyone in the tower has one, no limits. Well Nat and Pepper have limits, I swear between those two i would be broke in no time. Anyways, not the point, you'll also need training gear. Use it for that if nothing else."

"Thank you Mr. Stark. Really for everything." You said grabbing the dtuff he had given you an slipping the card into your back pocket.

"Stop calling me that, Mr. Stark was my father. Tony will be fine." He said getting back to what he was working on.

"I call him Man of Iron." Thor said placing his hand on your lower back leading you out.

"Dont, for gods sakes, dont call me that." Tony yelled after you.

"Everyone is meeting in the living room for a movie of you would like to join us." Thor asked. You were completly drained from your firdt day at the tower, had it really just been this morning since you were in your own room? It felt like eons ago.

"No Thor, I just want to go take a shower, adjust to everything going on, and unpack my stuff. Maybe look for somethings to decorate my room, but thank you." You turned walking back to your room in silence.

On your way to your room your mind was all over the place, how did you not know that you were from Asguard, had your parents not really been there your whole life? Did your parents even actually exist or was it some made up something or other like a dream? You had just talked to your mom yesterday, maybebit was just some mind control thing making you beleive you had been talking to her. You placed your hand on the bridge of your nose rubbing it as you leanes aginst a wall trying to collect your thoughts.

"You seen very troubled." His voice ws like silk, you had only heard it once before but you knew when you looked up you would see him standing there in his usual green and black. You knew this man didnt like you but something inside of you drew you to him. When you looked up he was leaning aginst the wall directly in front of you, looking like he was trying to figure out an answer to a ridiculously hard question.

"I just want to know why this is happening? Are my parents even real? Do I have powers? What are they if i do. I just want to know. Why do you hate me?" You sighed leaning your head back aginst the cool wall. You heard his breath catch, before you knew it he was directly in front of you, hands on either side trapping you there. Your heart lept, not from the danger that you were in, but the closeness.

"I do not hate you, I could never hate you. You do not realize this but we were ment to be together, two parts of a whole. You can not stand here and tell me you do not feel drawn to me as I am you. I have loved you from the day we first met so long ago, playing as kids in my mothers garden. It simply pains me that you do not remember us, what we had, our past. Darling trust my words when I say that if Odin wasnt dead I would surly kill him for taking you from me and making me beleive you dead for all these years." He leaned down breathing in your scent and gently leaving a kiss on our cheek before turning around and walking off leaving you even more confused and jittery than you were.

Not sure how to feel about Lady Loki yet? Why she gotta be blond. 😔 Most of my misgivings are appearance wise. Though I think I might be unreasonable on this. LMAO. Otherwise, you do you sweetie. omg. She imploded this bitch ass timeline. Good for her. So far I've been rooting for her all the way.

It's interesting to watch two Loki's that are neither the Loki that I love. (Cause he's dead and gone, yah know). And Variant!Loki's personality still feels way too casual. I mean, sometimes I like whats going on. The part in pompeii leans towards his existential crisis again, which I like.

But ultimately he still feels ooc.

His powers also sadly dont go with my headcanons, but its okay, Imma just ignore that. Also why does he use so little of his powers? Why is he so interested in his blades? Seems not so thought out.

But also multiple Lokis!!!! I love that he's a constant variant. Like, get fucked TVA. I told you guys that's why the TVA sees him as dangerous. He's basically the only enemy they have.

Can't tell how much Mobius understands Loki, there are some things I blatantly disagree with (so I'm going to ignore them - because I feel like thats the writer inputting his likely poorly researched thoughts.)

And I'm still on my Mobius stanning bs. I love him. He's obviously the one being manipulated by the TVA. Makes sense with years of TVA propaganda. I get the feeling that Loki will influence him to leave that. Especially since the timeline has split (get rekt Time Keepers).

Mobius is no Odin, I'll say that flat out. Odin is a cruel piece of shit, who only does things in favor of his goals. Mobius is literally just indoctrinated in a fucked up system, and he leans towards sympathy. He wants a life with choas (perhaps another reason he is so invested in Loki). And Loki rightfully points out how dull that would be. (He's right)

I'm not even sure if the Time Keepers exist because that judge lady cannot be trusted, obviously.

I still hate the TVA making fun of Loki constantly - but they're kind of the definition of pathetic bullies, aren't they? We aren't meant to be on their side. We're meant to hate them.

And I still love the general atmosphere of the show, the music is pretty! The visuals are gorgeous - the various apocalypses look stunning.

So yeah, cant wait to see what happens next.

Bopping my head to that song. Okay after that interrogation scene, I'm beginning to think Loki lost the fight in avengers on purpose (i mean it was already a headcanon but maybe this might now be canon *fingers crossed*)

1. general, overall dislike for the majority of the euro gods 😔😔 she and her brother were tossed into space without so much a second thought by odin (and in her lore video ot was stated that him "and his ilk" didnt like them ((particularly their father's arrogance)) so i can extend that to the other gods. like. sol invictus would Not like having to share a name w some barbarian sun goddess from the north) so it really goes w/o saying that she'd be pissed at all of them still, and want to act like an annoying cat around them.

2. particularly w hera. goes into her house and melts all her fancy pots and vases cause tf is she gonna do? turn her into fruit (derogatory)? the only unique nature of being projected is that she can Kinda get away w being a dick lol. cant really punish her again bc shes already destined to die

3. its never explicitly stated in mythos if sol is a jotun or aesir or whatever but. given she was born from mundilfari im saying she and mani are jotuns. that being said, im taking the liberty to say that they have little to no reason to care about gender and sex like mortals do/would since they dont need an explicit partner to bare kids (like. mundi Didnt have a partner. he just suddenly got gregnant w sol and mani and the rest is history lol. and loki was briefly a mom. also ymir is actually intersex so why would they discriminate their old man. jotuns Hate the mortals and gods anyway so they can be a little valid as to why as a treat)

3.5 that being said, the same happened w sols kid, who i named sunna for convenience sake. by that i mean sol didnt get pregnant w her (ex)husband, glenr. it just kinda happened and she rolled w it. tho sol felt awful that essentially sunna was going to inherit a punishment given to her by mundi and co that, once she had her mental bearings in check, took sunna via projection and gave her to sols very obscure, very unknown sister, Sinthgunt (personal theory: goddess of the stars). while it was an easy decision bc she wasnt abt to let her only child be condemned to eternal isolation, it still kinda left her emotionally drained 😔 sometimes ur a mom for like 4 months and you dont really want to let go bc ur kid is the first person you have and can touch wo fear of burning them and ur terribly lonely

3.7 sol (and honestly mani too) doesnt hate mortals. minority of their people but they think theyre neat! if a bit stupid at times, but theres really not much to do aside from just watching them on a day-to-day basis. plus she and him technically count the hours and days for them so its nice to be a little appreciated by Someone.

4. she and glenr got a divorce. easier for ship purposes, as well as maybe making a little drama if need be. glenr can be a dick, as a treat.

5. sol is a little tsundere. shes not gonna tell u shes lonely. like past her Optimist Proxy™ shes a cranky, backhanded bitch whos desperate for someone to be genuinely nice to her lol. like neith might be nice but does she trust it? no, not when neith is older than her lol. it doesnt help sol blames the gods for her position in life 😔😔 basically anyone older than her is going to get the snark and bitchiness, and them being nice to her feels disingenuous. but yea she is. Very alone in every aspect and isnt abt to talk abt it w anyone because Ew.

5.1 but, along w the Lonely™, she also hasnt had a full nights sleep in like. Forever? she learned Very quickly that sleeping on an uncomfortable chariot being chased by loki's grandson is a recipe for disaster, esp if she wants to live. at most she gets a few minutes in periodically, but resting isnt real (which may or may not take part in her crank). but she'd also be a Heavy sleeper. once shes out shes Gone for the foreseeable future.

5.2 im still cranky she doesnt have a taunt for odin but does for loki.

5.5 p much the major reason why sol took an initial liking to arthur and merlin is Because they were raised by and as mortals, and have no bearing of her position.

5.6 but yea vaguely considered rewriting the ragnarok lore bit to include sol bc its kinda dumb she wouldnt be there when her life is on the line. but she'd either Kinda make nice w brits Then, or afterward in hera's mega fuck-up meeting and peace councils.

6. unsurprisingly has a terror for all dogs, no exceptions. growling, barking, yipping, jumping, hackling, Anything a dog does is just. FUCK I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING THAT WILL FINALLY PROVE THAT ZEKE IS ODIN AND NOT EREN

Now HEAR ME OUT I'm not hating on those who believe odin is eren but I have something I think will ATLEAST be interesting to y'all.

So you know how ymir had 3 daughters, who ate her and got 3 of the powers of her titan? (At least I assume they each got three of the powers since 9÷3=3 but who knows) OKAY well in norse myth ymir was the first frost giant and had a ton of kids, but I'm going to say that sina, rose, and maria arent supposed to symbolize ANY of Norse Ymir's children. I'm going to say they symbolize Odin, Vili, and Vé! These are the three gods who killed ymir and made midgard with his remains.

I know you may be thinking "But Pastel, didnt you just say that zeke is odin? How could one of the daughters be odin but also zeke is too?" And I understand where that thought is coming from, but AOT isnt a hard reboot (sorry I cant think of any better term for it) of Norse myth. It's full of symbolism and allegories to norse myth too get across the same overall story, but isn't norse myth. Kinda like the polar opposite of Marvel Norse myth (which takes a bunch of names and shit and throw them on to their own characters) AOT is more like... norse myth but edited slightly so some of the characters can be basically who they are in myths, others are just taking the plot place of a character but is a different character, and others are just symbolic representations of a character. (Like how erens founding titan is jormungandr, 'the snake so large it circles midgard and bites it's own tail') ANYWAY IM GETTING OFF TRACK but the point is in this case the daughters arent taking the place of the character, but are in way? They are taking up the place of the plot point. I'm bad at words if you couldnt already tell but I'm trying.

Anyway back to my main point. Sina, rose, and maria are all ancestors of the royal family(or atleast one of them is) which in this case makes them Æsir and NOT jotunns, despite having the power of a jotunn/titan shifter. (Like how Narfi and Nari are Æsir and not Jotunns despite Loki being their father, jotunns didnt really have any rights to their children if they had any with æsir) Anyway my point to alllll this is that zeke, and descendant of the royal family, would be an Æsir, not a jotunn. Odin is an Æsir, and Loki is a jotunn. Making Zeke Odin, and not Loki.

Maybe some other day I'll go over how Ymir isn't really viewed as a person and some other reasons why I think eren is loki, but now I made myself too excited to write anymore. not enough casual lady loki content so here’s some concepts 

- After being rudely questioned mid-battle on how he can feel female if he was born male Lady Loki casts a spell that switches everyone’s gender in an attempt to get the point across. 

- Loki is at least a part-time Valkyrie. However, Loki was not the only one (before Ragnarok) since Sif had been convinced to join for the shiny uniform and fancy sword (Sif may hate Loki but she’s less inclined to punch when he’s female). Odin couldn’t stop Loki from reviving the Valkyries as a group and tries to disband the team of two by sending them on increasingly ridiculous missions. Ridiculously difficult missions that they absolutely refuse to fail.

-  After getting a high up job working for Stark/Pepper Industries - not unlike Black Widow - Lady Loki wriggles her way into the Earth Forum of Tony’s Scientist Nerd Bros (Helen Cho, Bruce Banner, Jane Foster, Shuri) with Loki’s extensive nerd knowledge. Everything is fine because no one recognises or even suspects who Loki actually is... until one day Tony makes a joke about being on lookout for another smart male to join the team because not that I’m complaining about being surrounded by genius women but the unfair ratio of 2:4 cant be good for gender equality, and Loki switches to make it evenly 3:3 without thinking ahead. 

- Loki shapeshifts as a disguise. Unfortunately, Loki is seen by Odin. Fortunately, Odin thinks Loki is a younger version of Hela sent by the norns to give him a ‘chance to fix the mistakes he made in raising her the last time’ which means Odin didn't recognise and wont punish him for experimenting with magic again. He puts together the history Odin tried to hide and comes to the conclusion that Odin is generally a trash father and that the only appropriate course of action is to punish Odin for his terrible parenting through making him relive having young ‘Hela’ be the most disrespectful unroyal-like person ever and watching Odin struggle to fix her. Juggling between being both Hela and Loki is fun because when he’s Hela he can do whatever he wants but has to carefully follow rules as Loki. Thor is just happy to have a sister, even if she has the habit of impaling him with the occasional swords (notably not unlike Loki stabbing him)...

- If Loki is ever about to lose a fight against Thor he changes shape because Thor refuses to harm her or be rude. Despite being literally the same person. Loki finds it amusing and takes full advantage of it.

- Where Loki finds out he’s not just adopted and a frost giant, but also genderfluid, and decides these titles just add to the drama every time he needs to introduce himself to anyone. “I am Loki Adoptedchild, Prince of Asgard on Weekdays, Princess of Asgard on Weekends, Rightful heir of Jotunheim, Mx of Mischief, Causer of Chaos, Owner of Outcasts, Silvertongue--” “Loki I know I shouldn’t have kept your identity secret for so long but could you please stop introducing yourself and tell me your query? - Thor desperately wants to be a Valkyrie so Loki casts a gender change spell on both of them and they set off to complete the Valkyrie initiation trial.

- Loki realises that Mjolnir’s worthy rule only applies to him... sometimes? It’s not something he would think much of if he hadn't noted the wording of the spell long ago to only refer to people with male pronouns... 

- As a child Loki argued that since Asgardian laws treat women and men differently the only reasonable thing would be to treat Male Loki and Female Loki as two separate people. Not only does this result in political confusion but now that Loki is older it can be argued that she walk out of prison and not suffer for the crimes Male Loki committed. 

- Some great evil caused everyone in the universe to have their gender changed. Everyone is affected... except a certain genderfluid shapeshifter ... and no one believes its not his fault so its up to him (and Lady Thor?) to figure out the cause of the problem and solve it

- Amora and Lady Loki have a bet on who can get Thor to fall in love and confess his love for them first. Thor is confused as to why The Enchantress is suddenly finding excuses to spend time with him (isn't she meant to be Loki’s friend?) and why this girl that has the same mannerisms as his brother (must be a magician thing?) is shamelessly flirting with him. 

- Thor gets captured so its up to The Avengers (or the warriors 3 I guess) to rescue him. They refuse to accept Loki’s help because of what he’s done in the past so he changes gender and argues that she hasn't harmed any of them before and goes along

#for the first point I know I say 'everyone' but that's most likely either a) the avengers or b) every Asgardian #so please take a moment to imagine loki casting a genderbend spell that Odin cannot undo XD #for the second point naturally as skilled warrior and sorcerer Sif and Loki keep succeeding and its driving Odin crazy #'you sure you don't need help from an actual team of fighters?' he says as he sends them to fight stuff he KNOWS thor and co. couldn't win #and yet they keep returning victorious #I reckon Loki could coax Amora into joining too by claiming to have 'more achievements' than her or simply saying 'please' when asking #oh and with the second last point they agreed on no magic for this - other than loki's shapeshifting #amora trusts her good looks to get her the win while loki is enjoying herself way too much getting material to bribe thor with later #loki will be sure to relay any especially interesting dialogue back to thor once the bet is over #probably when it'll be most embarrassing for thor #like at a council meeting where no one else will find the comments suspicious #anyways the bet is a disaster and most likely scenario is Thor just... doesn't say 'I love you' to literally anyone outside his own family.. #both of their faces when he tells them this is that surprised Pikachu face #anyways there is a severe lack in lady loki content and it is disappointing #so heres a concept dump #maybe it'll motivate someone to make something? maybe the idea will be enough on its own for someone to enjoy? #I don't really mind #hopefully both

So, I recently saw @rondoel was interested in hearing about Mcmercy Headcannons if Mccree and Mercy if were to have a happy ending , even if that’s not exactly how they picture their story themselves.

So, well , if anyone is interested in some Cowboy and Angel fluff (after a healthy amount of angst)) .. let me dust off the headcannons that have been collection dust for the last few years. Hope you enjoy !

Warning LONG Post / info dump incoming

Disclaimer: I headcannon Mcmercy as a slow burn couple who go from teenaged orphans who find a home in overwatch,to reluctant teammates , to friends who develop crushes , to lovers over the events of the story of Overwatch. ( there also might be a bit of fiddeling with the time line here, since Blizzard cant seem to make up their mind on how old Angela was when she was approached by Overwatch to join vs when Gabe gave Jesse his ultimatum)

Headcannon time!!

When Retribution happens Angela and Jesse (who are about 29-30 at this point) have been low-key daiting for about 7-8 years , (Because of their high profiles and responsibilities within Overwatch and Blackwatch, and because neither of them likes making a fuss about it, only the higher ranking memembers they are close to know they are together. When they are on the field, their jobs come first and they remain professional... with a few teases , flirts ,and hand holding snuck in here and there. But ultimately , getting the job done and keeping the team safe are their primary goals. ).

Before everything went to hell in a hand basket with Overwatch and Blackwatch, they started tentatively talking about next steps in their relationship. It’s no question that they wanted to stay together at this point ,but they were not in a rush for something like a wedding or kids at that moment. Jesse likes the idea to ultimenly have that one day if they can , and Angela.. doesn’t exactly hate it. It’s never been her thing before, but being with Jesse does it make her consider it .

Between the fall of the Swiss base/ disbanding of the Orignal OW and the Recall:

Jesse keeps track of when Dr Ziegler’s name is mentioned in the news , espically when Reaper starts going after former Overwatch members. He uses his contacts in the trafficking rings to get supplies to whatever relief camp or distaster she is helping with. And he’s still in contact with Genji , who he asks to make sure Angela is safe... even though the ninja is like “you know, she’s in Central America right now. You can go see her. She’s not mad at you. Well... not that mad anymore. And you know as well as I do that Angela can handel herself, you don’t have to worry about the bounty all the time. Why not set up a vacation in Fiji?”

(Ana joins in on this after Angela finds out she and jack are both alive. Jack doesn’t care because he’s never really liked the punk Gabe brought back from Route 66 and always though Angela deserved better. )

Meanwhile, Angela keeps track of every news article on Jesse being spotted and the bounty on is head for his arrest. She has a little map with marks following his sightings, and complains to Genji that he needs to be more careful. Since she moves around so often for when she is needed , she doesn’t keep many belongings — the acception beating a certain Deadlock belt buckle that was left to her and a shelf full of wooden figureines that Jesse would widdle during his downtime on missions and leave on her desk over the years. She’s the one who actually finds out about the location of Echo and through Genji and Baptise tracks down Sombra to pass the info to Jesse (in return she offers the information she knows about Moria and the basis of why she wanted her research , and possibly being able to reverse Ameile’s condition. )

Echo then gets in on this , because when Jesse told her “ They want me, but they need you.” She realizes he was talking about Angela after the others filled her in on everything that’s happened since while she was asleep. That Jesse didn’t want Angela to blame herself for what happened at the Swiss base, and the world did need Mercy again.

Post Recall:

Cue to Genji , Zen, and Ana tracking down Jesse and then pretty much dragging him and Hanzo back to the Gibraltar base — because he needs to stop being stubborn. Also cue Pharah, mei and echo telling Angela that she needs to stop being stubborn and stop avoiding him on base like an akward teen.

Eventually, they slowly start to pick up where they left off. It’s akward at first because they are still working through their own regrets and fears of letting people they cared about down, and wondering if they are on the same page while they try to figure out how to run the new Overwatch. They never stopped loving each other, but it takes time for them to find their footing again outside the battle field, espically since Jesse still has his bounty and can rarely leave the base.

Over time , Jesse naturally starts becoming the one that trains the new faces of Overwatch and eventually has his bounty lifted to where he can help lead missions , and Jack even recommends him as the new Striketeam leader ( that role he eventually passes on to Tracer in a few years ) Meanwhile, Angela works on establishing the infermary for Overwatch and working with the new supports and medics to get everything back inform to help people and fight talon.

As far as marriage or even a wedding, Angela is fine with just them understanding who they are to each other , and they don’t need a piece of paper to prove that. Jesse’s a little bit more a romanti —-nothing big and fussy , but he at least wants to exchange rings. They agree on a small ceremony on base with Reinhardt witnessing.... but, pharah, genji, Ana, echo , torb, Lena , and Brigitte go to town and end up decorating the whole base.

As far as kids .... They have their own reservations and fears about being able to be parents , but they ultimently just come to the decision to try, and if it happens it happens.

..........first try and they get landed with twins XD.

Jesse is banned from picking the names of American outlaws, so he goes with famous ones from other countries. Angela keeps going with names from one from Norse mythology ( ie: Tyr, Eri, Freya,Odin...but ABSOLUTELY no Loki.)

(Then , another little girl about two and a half years later . They also have a ranch in Montanta where they spend their downtime and have winter holidays with the overwatch crew. It’s been jesse’s project he been working on once he got off probation after joint Blackwatch)

Sure, I can help. Bare in mind that I’m not as familiar with Amora as I am with Loki, but I have a pretty strong working knowledge.

We don’t actually know very much about her past and childhood the way that we do with Loki. Marvel has this weird thing that I actually kinda hate where Ragnarok happens in cycles over and over again, and the gods are stuck playing the same roles over and over again. It’s a cop-out to explain continuity errors, but in at least one of these, she was the keeper of the golden apples that granted the gods immortality

(Thor: Ages of Thunder)

Worth noting is that Ages of Thunder equates Amora with Idunn and Freyja, both of whom are separate goddesses by the time of the modern Ragnarok cycle. Given that Idunn is the keeper of the golden apples in most Thor comics, we can assume that she got her role usurped in some fashion (the Thor & Hercules: Encyclopaedia Mythologica supports this). There’s a lot of gray area to fill in there with your own headcanons. I’m partial to the interpretation that Amora’s growing jealousy and vanity made her too “impure” for the apples, and her losing her position only served to make her jealousy worse.

There’s not really a comic that depicts this (to my knowledge - I could be wrong), but the official handbook (and presumably some line of dialogue somewhere in an earlier issue) tells us that she ran away from home in her youth to be trained in magic by Karnilla the Norn Queen. However, Karnilla expelled her, and she picked up other magic by seducing other sorcerers.

But, again, with this only being an informed attribute, there’s a lot of gray area to exploit for headcanons and original backstory that you may wanna give her. Maybe Amora and Karnilla are ex-girlfriends and they had a bitter falling out. Maybe they both lusted after the same man and one of them got jealous of the other. Marvel doesn’t tell us so we don’t know.

Defenders #108 reveals that Amora captured Valkyrie and set her in a mystic trap a few hundred years ago after the latter refused to help Amora gain power.

Though, as you can see, she was basically already exactly how she is in the current timeline by this point so it’s really more backstory for Valkyrie than Amora. Worth noting is that she didn’t have Skurge under her thrall at this point. Though she had been the object of his affections beforehand, their partnership really didn’t begin until their debut appearance:

Now when you say her “past”, I’m not fully sure if you just mean her backstory or if you mean her actual comics history that has come out in the past. I’ll touch briefly on her early appearances just in case. Journey Into Mystery #103 is her debut where Odin, at Loki’s suggestion, sends Amora to Earth to get Thor to come back to Asgard by getting him to forget about Jane Foster. However, because she and Skurge attacked Thor, Avengers #7 reveals that they got banished to Earth by Odin.

And on Earth, they teamed up with Dr. Heinrich Zemo to have someone to show them around in this strange land of strange customs.

Amora was involved in numerous schemes across The Avengers, The Defenders, The Incredible Hulk, and other titles whilst on Earth. Sometimes with Skurge, sometimes not. They wouldn’t return to Asgard, however, until much later:

Which they did at Loki’s behest to help him conquer Asgard and dispose of Odin. Even though she allegedly “died” during that story (nobody stays dead in comics), from there, Amora pretty much came and went as she pleased up through the modern stuff. She’s been involved in several major story arcs that you’re probably already familiar with like Secret Wars, The Reigning, War of the Realms, etc.

But, yeah, this was a long way to say that Amora’s backstory is vague, but I think as long as you understand who she is, you can improvise for your roleplay as much as you want. Amora’s a flexible character who has filled a lot of different roles in the comics, so there’s a lot of different ways you can choose to take her character. If you need help getting her voice and mannerisms down, definitely check out some of those comics I referenced. I’d also recommend watching her episodes in the Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon, because it’s really good and Kari Wahlgren has the perfect voice for her, imo. It’s a good place to build off of if you’re unsure about your grasp on thecomics Amora’s voice and mannerisms.

How I feel about this characterhes one of my favorite royal sibs!!!!! probs tied with elise and takumi? or possibly my most fave?????? i was sad the whole time birthright bc i missed him and elise the whole time,,,, now that im playing conquest im sad bc i miss takumi lol. i love my tomato brother ;w; but he (and xander) is like the funniest fuckin character, oh my god. i love him so much. he makes me cry with laughter half the time he opens his mouth. hes this snarky little snob and he can’t dress himself for shit bc his clothes are always inside out or backwards (me too actually. every time i realize my shirt’s on wrong im instantly like Wow Leo Vibes). i love how in birthiright near the end theres this important emotional scene and hes gotten rid of iago and corrins like “hhhhey leo,,,? ur shirts inside out” and he just goes “DAMN IT.” his shop voice lines sound like a really sarcastic customer service voice. “Welcome. My non-romantic OTP for this characteri love the familial bonds between all the nohrian siblings but so far leo and elise is my fave sibling duo,,, but im biased bc so far ive only gotten theirs and camilla/xander’s lol. but even in hoshido i like the younger sibs plus older sibs duos. the idea of closeness in age forming a special bond is cute to me. i also like corrin and leo as having a close sib bond since they seem close in age! i know theres [remembers graveyard chapter of birthright again and starts sobbing] some underlying angst of him envying all the doting on corrin his siblings do and he feels ALONE AND I CRY, but he also was very fond of corrin, and i remember the end of birthright where camilla totally calls him out saying how he was saying how nice it was to get to see corrin again ;w; i’d like to think they were close!and of course i like leo and camilla’s relationship…. thinks about end of birthright and sobs… at least they have each other ;o;i need to get more leo supports actually… i want to see every support convo but theres only so much time CRIES
