So, yeah, (I) need you, Mike. And (I) always will.

So, let me see if I understand... During the whole show, we're shown multiple times that, although Will has so many people that love him and care for him, there's only one person in the whole world that can truly understand him. Not his other best friends, not his mom, not his brother. Mike.

Which not only shows the beautiful, deep connection Will has with Mike because of this, which is why he fell in love with him; but also the beautiful, deep connection Mike has with Will to effortlessly understand him when no one else can.

They are connected beyond friendship, like Dustin and Lucas. They're connected beyond brotherhood and family, like Jonathan and Joyce.

And that's why Will needs Mike. And Mike needs to be needed. Mike was the most convinced that Will was still alive in s1, the one who stuck by his side in s2, the one who "mysteriously" acts weird around only Will in seasons 3 and 4. It's always different amongst them, always special.

We're told since minute one that they're each other person.

But, somehow... This doesn't mean that Mike's feelings are requited? They're gonna end up as just friends when we've stated than what they have is more than being best friends, not only from Will's side, but from Mike's side too?

All this effort in making Mike the only one who understands Will, to the point that Will needs him, just for his feelings not being requited, ultimately confirming that he can't get what he wants the most just because he's gay?

Suuuure.

extremely unwell after thinking how luz changed hunter's fate 3 times...

...the first by being with him when he learns the truth about belos (and turns on him because of luz), ensuring that belos doesn't kill him like all the other grimwalkers

...the second by switching places with hunter (with help from gus), making sure that belos doesn't squash the last loose end before the day of unity

...and the third by introducing flapjack to hunter - and therefore leading to the moments in TTT where flapjack tries letting luz use his powers to save him, and then sacrificing his life to make sure that he lives

it is the destiny of every grimwalker to turn on belos and die by his hand - and it's only thanks to luz that this time it doesn't happen

saw a post about "reviving" the stucky fandom like having a special day which is all well and good but i'm just like i mean is the fandom dead or did you just stop engaging like people are still very much making edits and fanart and writing fic like in fairness there IS a lot of fanwork that maintains canon and i understand not wanting any of that bc i am absolutely not interested in engaging with any of that bc well. i'm not interested in that kind of angst for this ship or in the belief that you can justify or make endgame logical lol BUT there are also people who remained invested in the ship without any of the nonsense like is it less than it was in 2014 sure but that's not even just bc people abandoned ship it's also bc when the thing is no longer getting new canon content there's simply not gonna be as much fan content churned out either like it is very natural but the content is still there if you actually go into the tags

#i'm like hi is fandom dead or are you just not reblogging gifs #have you SEEN yourbuckies gifs bc that's like some of the best shit i've ever seen and they're regularly in the edit tag #just went into the fanart tag for the first time in months and there's so much there and i queued multiple things #like tbf it is annoying to go into one of those tags and see some endgame compliant shit UNTAGGED #which i know not everybody is me and tags everything with catwsedit or endgameedit or whatever but they SHOULD #so like yeah it is a risk but i do make use of the block/post block options lol #but yeah i can't lie i find it more preferable if people just abandon ship rather than making content like haha look at steve leaving bucky #this is so heartwrenching and makes so much sense after all the other things they went through that i'm showing in this gifset right?#but anyway there are people who don't do that so like it's not hard to at least acknowledge that chunk of fandom
