Dear internet historians,

We are going on a one month hiatus, so that we can blog more regularly on every Monday and Wednesday and we have decided that we are going to be making our blog entirely story time. Mira will also be running a side blog covering gaming that will be active on the same date that we will be off our hiatus.

QnA - Odette

So when we started posting i wanted to stay anonymous, but now that more people are involved with posting here, i think i could be very inspirational if i did a QnA on Tumblr.

My name is Odette and my pronouns are she/her.

I like sci-Fi and theatre and just exploring strange places in my area.

Despite the fact that my name is ODETTE, i am very extremely clumsy, i am the girl who wrote that i fell on my ass that many times on the way to school, in my defence i have none, jk, in my defence it was icy.

Live laugh loving in the u.k. in an area between Wales and England.

I’m 5,11, so I’m A gIaNt.

My favourite colour has changed recently, it is now black, and BEFORE anyone says black is not a colour it’s a shade no one likes you, I also like light pink and light lavender and like a pearl gray/white. I don’t like pink and purple together though, it’s ugly.

Favourite Disney Princess- I know she technically isn’t a Disney Princess, but i like Jane from Tarzan.

Hogwarts house?- idk i took it about 4 years ago and got slytherin, but i was twelve so it’s probably changed.

Favourite movie?- The matrix and clueless

Fav t.v. Show- Dr Who, Sex education, Heart Stopper and The Office

Favourite subject in school- psychology, my other favourite subject would probably also be R.E.P. if my lovely school let me take it along side psychology for a levels.

Merry Xmas eve everyone！❄️

It was Chrismas eve and I was worried about Da Pizza. Da Pizza was sad, trying the best with freckley eyes.

I walked over to the window and reflected on my bright surroundings. I had always loved eye leaking in my living room by the window.

I gulped.

I glanced out my window again. Da Pizza was a taking no shit, a determined person, a sugary drink in one hand with Da Classic smiley face and brown eyes. Da Pizza’s friends saw Da Pizza’s determination as funny, they were as amused as a wholesome toad. She had once even received determination award.

The snow flurried like bouncing dogs, making me depressed. I grabbed a sparkling carpet that had been strewn nearby; I ate it out of desperation. As I stepped towards the door, Da Pizza came closer, I could see the helpful glint in her eye.

"I am here because I want Peace," Da Pizza bellowed, in a nice tone. Da Pizza slammed Da fist against the door with the force of 7780 hamsters. "I frigging (💀) hate everything.”

I looked back, even more terrified and still eating the sparkling carpet. "Da Pizza *SCREE," I replied.

We looked at each other with fear, like two brave, blue-eyed bats on Christmas eve, with jazz music playing in the background and two smart cats singing along. Da Pizza looked out at the snow. Da Pizza held out Da hand. "Let's not fight," Da Pizza whispered, gently. Da Pizza looked miserable, her eyes like cold mince pies.

Then Da went into Da mansion and had a nice drink of sugary drink.

*And I had a nice chomp of the crystal carpet.

*Merry Christmas

So my mate posted this, and I am actually offended at how lowly she ranked some of her most iconic eras 😒 I amm only going to do top 4 though because I don’t want people to come for me... because imagine coming for someone for their music taste.

The n.o. 1 album is definitely 𝐌𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬⭐️™, her best album yet, her songs are just so catchy and my fave is Karma. I feel like she has put the most Easter eggs from her other albums ever in bejewelled. I love the colours and the overall vibe of her album cover and music videos for Midnights. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions listening to midnights and overall I am probably going to be listening to this regularly for a long time, because Taylor is literally my entire Spotify playlist. Midnights is my fave.🌙📻🎧

Then my second favourite is 𝙵𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜. Why is it ranked so lowly in my friend’s ranking? We’ll never know. Fearless is such a beautiful album and it has such a Princess vibe, how can someone disregard love story and you’re not sorry? I don’t know. I feel like this album definitely is what told the public at the time that Taylor has talent in storytelling and writing, I’ve cried over fake scenarios listening to this album. I LOVE FEARLESS!! And also for me fearless is so nostalgic, because I remember being very little and hearing Fearless songs on the radio and I love, love, love her new songs from the vault I will never stop listening to Today was a Fairytale!! It’s just a class album, and I think it is so, so underrated and I think everyone should give it a listen, it is astonishing. ✨🕯💛

N.o. 3. 𝙍𝙀𝘿. I actually didn’t listen to this album fully UNTIL all too well the short film was released and because I was obsessed with the beautiful cinematography and the emotion that had been put into the lyrics and the short film, I went on to listen to the whole album of Red Taylor’s version. All too well (the ten minute version) is my absolute favourite of this album Taylor’s talent in writing really shone through in this song, and it makes me think she should write a book someday in the future. I also love sad beautiful tragic, I love the melody of this song it is just *chef’s kiss. ❤️🍂☎️💋🧣

N.o. 4 𝟣𝟫𝟪𝟫. in this album, I think a lot of the songs are based around the experience of being in the spotlight and having your boundaries being crossed by the media surrounding personal relationships and despite me not being famous, i can relate to some of these songs like welcome to New York and wonderland through queer lenses, I don’t always interpret lyrics as what they are supposed to mean, because I think the purpose of songs are not for the public to use as a reason to pry into anyone’s private lives to find out who they’re singing about so they interpret the song exactly as what it’s written about, but for people to interpret for themselves in their own lives and think of what it means to them.🏙💎💙

Dear Internet Historians,

Snowing in school,

I walked to school on the icy paths today whilst the sky was pissing snow and I was all alone, because my friends who I normally meet at the train station weren’t there, NOT because our school had shut down, because it’s ICY and DANGEROUS, but because the train drivers are having a boycott as a late reaction to the whole shit prime minister problem. I was shivering like an engine and had to hold on to some random people’s fences to their front gardens to stop me from slipping and I hate everything. Then when I had to walk by the motor way it was even worse, because I had nothing to hold one for support so I fell on my ass about sixty times because we have shit school shoes with no grips. I had to shelter in Tesco express, because it was too cold and I was wearing fingerless gloves and as practical as they are in any other scenario, believe it or not in the snow it felt like my fingers were going to drop off. EVERYONE READING THIS don’t wear fingerless gloves in the snow. I bought some iced coffee whilst I was there, because tis the season for a cold drink and I just stood inside sipping it staring out of the window in misery of what of my treacherous journey there is left. I also played a game in my head where I guessed what the star signs of any person I saw were. The shopkeeper was definitely a Sagittarius, she just gave off that energy and seemed to have her life together. I also saw some random ass figure in the distance through the window who was running through the snow with a skull and a blazer- and that made me again aware of the time passing for some reason and thus I set off again. The fucker was definitely a Capricorn. I’m going to fast-forward us into when I actually arrived to school because it pains me to have to again go in to the details of what I had to endure, I’m sure you get the idea from what I’ve just been saying. So. I’m in school. I’m freezing and quite likely suffering from hypothermia. TWO THIRDS OF THE SCHOOL aren’t in. I at least actually showed up. Then. My fucking teacher. Guess who..? Ms MEAN! Tells me that I have a detention for being late without a call from a parent and because it’s Tuesday I have to stay in school TODAY. Well it sucks to be her, because due to the worry of it being too icy and dark for the pupils, our school closed after third lesson, which I barely had to sit through and my Mum was able to pick me up, because her work closed early too. So THERE MS MEAN.
