Tartaglia has been acting .. weird, recently. He doesn’t give you morning kisses anymore, his daily hugs, and even refuses to spend quality time with you. You can’t bring yourself to break up with him, no, you love him too much for that. Is he falling out of love? If so, what made him fall out of love? What did you do wrong?

A/N: I didn’t proofread this, so there might be some mistakes.

Stressed. It was one word to describe how you’ve been feeling this past week. Well, stressed was an understatement.

It was just another freezing, dark and cold night. You wouldn’t even dare try to look out the window, it’d just make you feel even more colder due to the amount of snow outside.

Childe was late. Again. You couldn’t really blame him, though. Being a Fatui Harbinger was hard work. Childe should’ve already came home 2 hours ago. He usually comes home at 11 pm, but it’s now 1 AM. And here you are, sitting on the couch, watching TV, waiting for your lover to come home.

The food that you cooked for him still laid neatly on the table, though the food was already cold. You sigh to yourself, standing up from the couch, and throwing the food away. It’s not like he was going to eat it anyway. He just comes home, gives you a lazy kiss on the cheek, then heads to the bedroom to sleep.

You two share the same bed, yet everytime you two slept together, it’s like he wasn’t even there. His back would be faced at you, not even bothering to acknowledge you.

But.. He’s just tired, right?

Sitting back down on the couch, the front door swung open. Childe was finally back from work.

“Darling!” You exclaim, jumping up from the couch to pepper him with kisses and embrace him onto a tight hug.

“Hey, my love,” Childe replied, leaning down so that he could be at eye-level with you, giving you a lousy kiss on the cheek, and walking away, heading upstairs to the bedroom.

You frown as Childe gently pushes you off him, heading upstairs to the bedroom. You sigh, why are you even surprised? It’s not like this is anything new.

You followed him upstairs, and Childe was already in his leisure clothes, sleeping peacefully on the bed. His back was faced to you, as usual.

You were in the mood for cuddling, surely he wouldn’t mind you hugging him? You don’t mind being a big spoon every now and then. You two haven’t been really doing basic stuff couples would do, anyways. Like, kissing, gift giving, giving each other compliments..

You laid down beside him, snuggling up closer to him.

Childe sighs, “Baby, not really in the mood.”

“Since when are you ever?” You quickly replied.

Childe lets out a soft hum. “Please, honey, just.. let me rest. It’s been a long day.”

You scoff, but not bothering to say anything else. He’s right, it has been a long day for him. Not wanting to stress him out any further, you turn to your side, also facing your back at him.

Well, that was awkward. Well, to be honest, your whole relationship with Childe has been awkward recently.

You woke up to the sound of Childe’s alarm. It was now 5 AM. It must be tough for him, huh? Arriving home at 1 in the morning, and then having to get up at 5 in the morning.

Maybe he’s right. Yeah, it’s always a long day for him. All you have to do is be a good girlfriend and let him do his job.

…

No. You’ve decided to follow him to work.

It was dangerous and risky, considering he’s a Fatui Harbinger, but you couldn’t help it. These thoughts were slowly making you insane. You were overthinking, and you always let those thoughts win.

Hiding behind tree to tree while following him, he was just slaying hilichurls or treasure hoarders that got in his way.

You weren’t really noticing anything suspicious. You roll your eyes, you look so stupid right now. Following your boyfriend to work, just because you thought he was cheating on you.

You turn around, heading back home, until you hear a voice.

It was a female voice, calling out Childe’s name.

“Childe! There you are”, your eyes widen, your head immediately snapping to the direction of the voice.

It was a woman with blonde, short hair and— Wait, isn’t that Lumine, the traveller?!

“Hello, gorgeous.” Childe replied, with a flirty and seductive tone. “How’ve you been? You know, without me being by your side and all.” Childe chuckled and winked at her.

Did he just call Lumine “gorgeous”? Just what exactly is going on here?

Lumine giggles. “Don’t be such a tease. I’m perfectly fine on my own.”

“Mmh. Sure you are.” Childe replied.

Your whole body froze, your body going limp. You wanted to dig a hole and hide in there forever. No, stop overthinking. Lumine’s probably just.. A close friend of Childe.

Wrong.

Childe steps closer to Lumine, his arms snaking around her waist as Lumine wrapped her arms around his neck.

Childe leans in closer to Lumine, their lips just an inch apart away from each other.

They kissed.

Tears started swelling up your eyes, you couldn’t handle it anymore. You turned around and immediately ran back home.

Thoughts started running through your mind, “Did the 2 years we spent together mean nothing to him?”, “Did he ever even love me? What about all those promises he made? Were they nothing but empty promises?”, “Was I nothing but a toy to him?”

You arrive home, swinging the front door open, wiping your tears away, though it was no use. Tears still poured out your eyes, running down your cheeks like a waterfall.

You laid down on the couch, closing your eyes, allowing the tears to spill down through your cheeks.

Before you knew it, it was already 11:17 PM. Childe should be home in three minutes. You sat up on the couch, and you instantly recall the moment when you caught Childe kissing Lumine. You bite down on your lower lip. It takes every fiber in your being to not have a mental breakdown once again.

The front door swung open, Childe greeting you with a lazy smile. “Hello, love.”

“Don’t call me that.” You immediately retorted. You put on a tough and strong act, not wanting Childe to see you so weak and vulnerable like you were a few hours ago.

“Hm? What’s wrong? What do you mean?” Childe questioned, cocking an eyebrow.

“What? You thought I wasn’t going to find out? I saw you make out with Lumine. I’m not a fool.”

Childe’s face turned pale. “Don’t be silly. You know I only love you.”

“Is that all you know how to do? Lie through your teeth?” You were furious. “How long has this been going on?”

Childe didn’t respond for a while, “..2 months.”

This just made you angered even more. All those times where he didn’t acknowledge you, didn’t even face you while sleeping on the bed, didn’t even kiss you on the lips anymore, hell, didn’t even hug you! It all made sense now. How did you not realize sooner?

“Look, I’m sor–”

“Save it.”

It takes everything in you to not slap Childe, though you know that won’t fix anything. “I’m leaving.”

“Baby, don’t! Please, just a second chance.” Childe pleaded. “I don’t know what I’ll do without you! Please, my love. Don’t do this!”

You scoff, facing your back at him and leaving through the front door.

Childe mischievously smirked as you left.

He knew how you were. You were gonna come back crawling to him in no time.

There was knocking on the door, you assumed it was just Lumine coming over. But when you opened the door, Kazuha already had his arms outstretched for you to hug him.

"Kazuha!" You said, before going onto his arms and pouring out all your affection on him.

"I missed you dearly, my love. The wind guided me to you."

"I missed you too, Kazuha."

He wraps his arms around your waist and pours out all his affection on you, too.

Be careful, though. This man has a lot of affection to give

Gorou would be confused while at the same time malfunctioning.

Why is it that you do this all of a sudden? Did he do something that made you proud?

But either way, he accepts your affection with a tomato face.

He let's his tail wrap around your waist, it's incredibly soft. And kisses you.

"I suppose that lab work can be for later." Albedo said with his gentle tone, nuzzling his face on the crook of your neck.

"I missed your familiar scent, dear" Albedo said.

"I missed you too, Albedo."

His hugs are tight, but makes you feel protected and warm.

His face is flushed and no matter he much he wants you to do this forever and ever, he'd go- "No! D-Don't hug me!An abyss mage might appear anytime and attack you! Because I'm nothing but bad luck.."

Is this a threat 🤨🤨

But you'd still continue kissing him and hugging him tightly. "Stop being such a baby, Bennett. I'm not doing this because I want an abyss mage to attack me anytime, it's because I love you and you're so CUTE!!"

His face is RED. RED. RED. RED. And hot too (not that type of hot dummy) His face is like putting a red shirt on then another red shirt on then another red shirt-

His only response is to hug you VERY tight to protect you from all the evil in this world.

Summary: you and Camilo have been dating for quite a while. Now that he’s busy helping people with chores, such as babysitting- he barely even has time for you, he's always busy. Even at home. When he arrives in the night, he’d just straight up go to the bed that you both share together. You asked Camilo on a weekend if he could spens some time with you. Even for a minute. What would he respond with?

Camilo = They/Him

if you are above 18, i advice for you to step out of this fanfiction. Although Camilo is 15 and a fictional character, it’s still considered wrong. You can go to jail for that.

You sighed to yourself once again.

Why is it that he doesn't even spend time with you anymore? Are you boring him out?

As Camilo did his good ol' routine, go home and straight to your guys bed, you followed him.

“mm.. Camilo?” you spoke, avoiding to create an arguement. “i wanna speak to you about .. something.”

“mhm.. make it quick please.” Camilo said.

“wanna spend some time together tomorrow? I don't mind if it’s only for a minute i can spend some time with you.” you stuttered, “besides, it’s Saturday tomorrow.”

“you know i don't have the time for that, amor..”

You sighed once again, you knew that. But you were desperate.

“it’s only.. only a minute! Please!”

“no is a no, maybe next time.”

You just gave up and ended up sleeping on the couch. No way you're sleeping with that guy, ugh.

As the next day passed by, you woke up earlier than expected.

Well, obviously Camilo has been off to do his chores now anyway. Man, Encanto has been getting really busy nowadays.

You changed your clothes and got out, you wanted to go buy some stuff anyways.

You saw something that catched your eye, a flower.

It looked.. magnificent. amazing.

Well , to you. So you didn't hesitate on buying it.

"This will be a perfect gift for Camilo!" You thought to yourself.

As soon as you reached home, you prepared dinner. "He's going to be here in 3.. 2.. 1-"

Camilo opened the door, his eyes still energetic. He's never been this energetic before. . never. Even after those multiple chores he had to do.

"Camilo," you spoke, only to be visited with a kiss on your cheek.

"huh?.." you whispered, "Camilo.. why so happy?"

"Dunno. I'm just in the mood, lets eat dinner together mi vida!"

Well, you werent complaining. You didnt wanna question him until he ends up getting bored of it and goes to sleep.

"W- Well, of course!"

After having a delicious dinner , Camilo gives his feedback.

"Wow!~ that dinner tasted like heaven amor! Even better than my tia's arepas."

That was such a huge compliment for you, Juliettas arepas were *chef kiss*. And to be heard that your making is much more tastier than her arepas ? Pfft. They must be complimenting your food out of pity.

"Wow Camilo. Thank you!" Your cheeks went red, "that's a compliment that I'll most definitely take."

Camilo giggled , "mhm! I'll go to sleep now , goodnight , mi vida." He kisses you on the cheek before going to the bed.

You wonder what made him so happy..

Morning

"Hm, Camilo seems to be earlier in leaving." You thought to yourself, "what is that mischievous boy up to now?"

"Meh. Probaly just wanted to get up early." Though you still said that, doubts went into your mind. Darn those trust issues. "I'll just.. follow him for a while."

You took off and left, as you saw Camilo, you tried to be like a sneaky ninja about it.

You saw Camilo with a young lady, straight hair.. red bow, clear skin, skinny, shining teeth, it's something that makes your insecurities spread.

You overheard them, not that you were planning to. You're not like that. But, it's your boyfriend. You need to know what hes up to.

Camilo: "Hey , Tiana" so her name is Tiana, huh?

Tiana: "Hey, Camilo. So about yesterday.."

Camilo: "yeah.. so, do you accept it? Will you be my.. girlfriend?"

Tiana: "but.. I'm from America. Are we truly meant to be?" America? She's from America? Doesnt sound too bad.

Camilo: "who cares? If you love me, you love me. Your feelings cannot stop you."

Tiana: "I.. but, your s/o?"

Camilo: "they will be fine on their own. I gave them enough attention last night, now it's time for me to lend you my love."

Tiana: "you know what, I don't care about y-your stupid s/o! You're mine and I'm yours!"

You watched as Tiana and Camilo shared a tender kiss.

Camilo never looked at you like that before, he've never kissed you like that before.

It has been 9 months since you guys were dating. You've never kissed him on the lips, never. Camilo said only when he was ready, you accepted that of course. But.. Did he only say that because he didn't want his lips to meet yours? Because.. He never loved you?

You felt tears that were like a river flowing down your cheeks. dropping the flower you wanted to give him, you ran away. You ran away fast, faster than you've ever ran before. All the people around you were worried, "what is it that makes them run too fast and cry?" was all they thought.

As soon as you've reached your secret spot, you instantly layed down there, feeling debiliated, you slept after 10 seconds. Seems like you've slept the whole day. It's already morning.

As you woke up, memories flooded into you. The moment when you caught Camilo.. Kissing someone else.

When you walked home, you hesitantly opened the door.

Only to see Camilo on the couch burnt out and eyes puffy like he just cried.

As Camilo looked over to you, his eyes bright up.

"m-mi vida! Oh my gosh, I thought you were.. Missing! Gone, forever! You don't know how worried I was amor, where were you?!"

Seems like although Camilo has another girlfriend he loves, he still cares about you.

"get out."

"w-what? Why? Did I do something wrong, amor?"

"pack your stuff and go back to that TIANA BAS**RD!"

Camilo was speechless, "what do you mean? I- I don't know any Tiana's!"

"I saw it , Camilo.. I saw everything. I saw how you kissed her lips but you never did to mine." you felt tears building up on your eyes, recalling the moment that happened.

"all I need right now Camilo, is for you, to go away and never return." you said, of course you didn't want that. But right now, you knew it was the right choice.

Camilo couldn't doubt it. He knew you were right, he didn't have excuses to use anymore.

"sorry, y/n. I'll.. Pack my stuff and leave. Are you sure.. You want this?" Camilo said with sadness in his eyes, fightinG the urge to cry.

"Camilo.."

"I don't need you anymore."
