This is a short personal comic/ stream-of-consciousness I made to mark the last day of Deaf Awareness Month (September). It’s based on something that I’ve experienced a lot in my life, but rarely see mention of, even though it’s a big issue. As a mainstreamed deaf person who grew up without sign language or a Deaf community, I had to learn a lot about advocating for myself and my language needs.

Isolation is very alienating and painful. So the next time you meet a deaf person, please, be patient, and respect the mode of communication they choose.

Legends say that Mercury was once a garden world. Now its surface, baked in the Sun's glare, is honeycombed with forgotten Vex structures. No life stirs here. Not anymore.

Finally I can reveal what I’ve been working on!!  A really enjoyable Destiny 2 commission for @horsyunicorn, featuring his OC Rose and her Ghost, wandering the idyllic landscape of Golden Age Mercury.

I took one look at the planet and immediately knew the color scheme to pick out, which made this piece all the more fun to paint. The reds, golds, and blues were just too perfect. Thanks so much for commissioning me, and enjoy!!!!

Environment studies from ESO screenshots, some WIPs that I haven’t quite finished but felt like posting anyway. Lighting is weird.
