MacBook Air 2020 Model 👩‍💻 So the last time I had a brand new laptop was when I graduated from high school. That’s over a decade ago. I’ve had other laptops since then, but I was always too cheap and bought used. 2020 has been so crummy that this is what finally pushed me to invest in a new model. Life Update Hey guys, it’s been awhile. I’m sorry if I haven’t responded to your messages. I’m not ignoring you. It’s just that I’m going through some mental and emotional things right now. I’ll be a bit vulnerable: living in a country that doesn’t believe in mental health or takes it seriously is really rough. I’m doing my best on my own, but it’s a struggle. Please be patient with me. I’ve been doing a lot of self reflection recently, about life- specifically, in Japan. I do want to go back to America; I’m just about ready. I miss my family and friends back at home. But I’m not there yet. There are still some things I want to experience in Japan before I return. What I do know is that I need a change. Therefore, I have decided to leave both Gamagori Board of Education and Toyohashi. It’s been a very difficult decision. I love Toyohashi, and the friends in it who have become my family. I also love Gamagori, the first job I ever struggled to emotionally quit. I will miss my students and the teachers I grew close to, but it’s time to move on. This week I will move to Nagoya, and starting in April I will work with kindergarten children. I’m excited, but nervous. I’ve been in the countryside so long that being in a city with tiny humans will be a big adjustment. I don’t know how long I plan to stay at this new job, but I hope I will gain the experience and motivation I need for when I eventually return to America. I love you, Gamagori. And I love you even more, Toyohashi. Leaving you is somehow harder than when I left America. I will never forget the memories and family I made here. Of course I will be a train ride away, but still! To my loved ones in America, I will return soon. Made this last month. It was challenging in that I tried more complicated decorating skills. I managed to trim the domes and figured out how to use my piping tools.
