I got to write for the Bonds of Beskar Sequel: Dagger’s Dominion by @popjeckdoom

Getting a chance to do a more traditional portrait scene for the third piece was just so much fun, I’ve missed getting to stretch my skills like that. I don’t bring it out very often, but it was SUCH a hilariously cute scene. Read it, you’ll love it. I promise.

Our beta Beth-the-Human recommended doing a metallic wrap instead of just cloth, and an Arabic technique called tulle-bi-telli, so Wolffe got this beautiful but complex Beskar woven fabric that kicked my ass to illustrate, yet was so worth it.

New piece for Clone OC Bingo! I had the thought that all of my clones so far only have rather law-abiding companions, so I built Saga to go with my deserter oc Tank.

This one is for the prompt Trading Weapons. Saga doesn’t really do blasters, while Tank sleeps with his DC-17. On the other hand, that blade is the last weapon Saga has from his home world, letting Tank hold and use it is far more meaningful than I think even Tank understands let alone me.

So I did a redesign of Hirami, as well as a little “glow up” line up above. Gods I was deep in my Naruto phase… She makes more sense now, rather than just being an amalgamation of all my favorite clans and sects in the show. She reflects a whole person of her own now, and I kinda dig it. Might do more with her.

Every once in a blue moon, I get out old sketchbooks and laugh at my progress. While moving some things from my mothers house, I found a VERY old one, with my first ever real OC. I chose not to change anything about her for this little side by side. Hirami was an absolutely beloved Naruto OC that was, naturally, somehow part of every clan I loved either by adoption, blood, or dating. She was supernaturally gifted, making Anbu before she would have even been in grade school, as I clearly wasn’t capable of understanding how age worked as a kid? I had to be in... 6th grade? I think? I might redesign her and actually make her make sense, seeing as I seem to be absorbed by redraws these last few weeks.
