the sleepy remus drabble was everything but what about sleepy james x reader just cuddling on the couch with remus and sirius teasing them omfgg
Thanks for requesting lovely! I realized halfway through writing this that I wasn't sure if you meant rem and sirius were there platonically or not, but I hope this is alright <3
poly!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 870 words
Even when you hear the voices, you pretend you don’t, too comfortable on the plush cushion of James’ hoodie. Opening your eyes isn’t worth the effort.
“Is this what they do when we’re not home?” Sirius’ voice is low and ripe with faux outrage.
James hushes him, so he’s awake apparently. His thumb moves over your tummy, big hand tucked into the warmth between your sweatshirt and your bare skin. “You’ll wake her,” he says, voice still sticky with sleep.
“She ought to be awake, it’s five in the afternoon!”
Remus’ voice is softer, skeptical. “I don’t see how either of you expect to sleep through the night if you nap like this during the day.”
“We manage,” James yawns.
You hear Sirius huff. If the muscles in your face were more active you think you’d smile. “I thought we were going to Marlene’s thing tonight,” he complains.
“Still planning on it.” James’ palm splays over your middle, warm and safe. “We’re resting up.”
“This is how you prepare for Friday nights now? Fuck, we must be getting old.”
You whine at his volume, nuzzling your face into James’ chest.
“Oh, so she is awake. What, sweet thing, you don’t feel like saying hi?”
This time James coos at your protesting sound. His hand slips from beneath your sweatshirt to wrap around your shoulders, shielding you from your pestering boyfriend.
“Oh, let’s have a bit of sympathy,” Remus says, sounding amused, “she’s had a long, hard day of napping. She deserves a bit of rest.”
You want to remind him it’s your day off, but speaking feels like giving into wakefulness, and that is something you are not inclined to do. Instead, you try to wriggle beneath the blanket halfway up James’ torso, curling in on yourself like a roly poly. He helps you out, pulling it up to cover your head and draping an arm over your balled-up form.
“It’s her day off,” he says, your hero. “Why shouldn’t she get to rest?”
“That’s fair enough,” Remus allows, “but why were you sleeping?”
James hesitates. “Well, I didn’t have anything to do after training and she…she lured me in.”
It’s true. James after rugby training is like Remus after he spends all day reading; he’s all worn out and pliable, and you’d practically only had to open your arms for him to fall right into them and then a cuddle on the couch had turned into a two-hour nap. Terribly unfortunate. Certainly not your plan all along.
You decide it’s your turn to protect James from the others, wriggling up on his chest and covering his head with the blanket. You see his smile through half-lidded eyes, and outside of your little cave, Remus chuckles.
“Oh, it’s like that, is it?”
“I think we should get in bed and have a cuddle they’re not invited to,” says Sirius. “See how they like it.”
“I’m not sure we can leave them in good conscience.” The sound of Remus' smile makes you smile, your cheek smushing into James’ chest. “She’s just taken Jamie. If we let her go on like this, she’ll have them both sleeping ‘til tomorrow.”
That actually sounds rather appealing.
“They’re jealous of us,” James whispers. You hum your agreement, and he kisses the crown of your head.
“We could go to all their favorite things,” Sirius proposes. “Make them remember the benefits of leaving the couch.”
“Like what? Watch sports?”
“And eat pastries. She loves a sweet.”
“Mm, yeah. I could fancy a sweet.”
“From the shop on sixth? They should still be open, yeah?”
“Stay strong, angel,” James whispers. “Don’t let them break you.”
“They ought to be. Oh, and the pub down that way will be showing the Manchester match tonight. We could stop and see that.”
“Sick and twisted!” James throws the blanket off, uncovering you in the process. “You never watch football with me.”
“I have,” Remus hedges, “that one time.”
“Last year! And you were reading your book on the other side of the pillow!”
He turns sheepish. “Didn’t realize you’d noticed that.”
“But now you’re going to watch it just to spite me?”
“No,” Sirius admits. “We were never going to watch football, Jamie, sorry.” James deflates, and you squeeze him tight around the middle in a show of solidarity.
“But we can go by the bakery on our way to Marlene’s thing,” Remus says, adding when you perk up, “if we leave soon enough. They make those danishes you like on Fridays, don’t they?”
“Seriously?” you ask, your voice croaky and hopeful.
“That’s me, babe,” Sirius teases, “and I’m down to stop by, but only if I get what I’m owed.” At your blank look, he raises a dark brow. “My welcome home kiss?”
Oh. “You’re gonna have to come down here,” you mumble. He makes a show of rolling his eyes, but obliges you, bending at the waist to take your face in his hands and pressing his lips to yours firmly. He does the same to James once you’re done, straightening with a satisfied look on his face.
“Appeased?” Remus asks placidly.
“Yes,” Sirius answers, “the evening may now continue. Up, you two. We’ve got places to be.”

On my break and wrote a blurb
The stones leading up to the store you were a regular at were always slippery, even more when it rained, some were even starting to grow some moss.
It was always the same routine, so repetitive to the point where the worker didn’t have to worry about what you wanted, he already knew.
He might’ve also known from the fact that he’s memorized your face since your first meeting, hoping you’d come back ever since then, and you have, everyday.
He’s so in love his heart hurts each time you have to leave, like a hand squeezing it so tightly. He might need to schedule an appointment for it soon, but even then what can he say? He’s so head over heels that his heart can barely remember what it’s been trained to do for two decades.
“The usual right?” He sheepishly says, hoping he can gain more confidence to recommend you something.
“Yeah! same thing please” You grin, happy that he’s remembered, you like this worker, he’s nice and reminds you of an old friend.
“Oh, right! I was gonna to ask if I could get your number, if not then it’s totally cool” You spoke again, grabbing out your phone to double down just incase he was confused. You were doing it platonically while also trying to work up your confidence.
Who knows, maybe this would be your future boyfriend, a cute food guy who you see everyday.
“Sorry?” He says, looking like a cat without any thought behind his eyes, as soon as he does realize what you mean he turns so red you think he might blow up from whatever emotion he’s feeling.
“Number! Number right- I knew that I- sorry” He rambles, wanting to shoot himself for stuttering so much, he shuts himself up and grabs your phone, writing it down in your notes and calling himself so you’d have it in your caller list as well.
“Thanks! Well, I gotta run to work now, I’ll see your tomorrow?”
“Yeah- ha I’ll see you tomorrow, thank you” He says, wanting to look down in embarrassment but unable to since he was so entranced by your beauty, you were so easily confident, his heart might explode.
He can’t wait to see you, maybe he’ll visit you tonight again, even if it was from outside your house without you knowing.

oh perhaps the penultimate chapter of don't just stand there has some feelings???? some emotions???? some tenderness?????
His boyfriend chuckled. "If you miss me this much when I go start on breakfast, you're going to have a really hard time this weekend."
Buck groaned, cracking one eye open. "Don't go. Stay home. Stay in bed, actually. With me. Safe and sound."
Tommy sat on the edge of the bed, carding his fingers through Buck's hair. He was already dressed, showered, and shaved, and it was breaking Buck's heart a little bit. "Safe and sound, huh? I thought you promised me you weren't going to worry."
Buck grimaced. This was the first time Tommy was going on special deployment since they'd started dating - he was heading all the way to Canada, to the out of control wildfires decimating northern Alberta. And Buck had promised not to worry when Tommy had told him the night before, but he's been up half the night remembering the bone-deep, icy panic when Hen's chopper had gone down outside San Angelo, the desperation with which they'd searched for her and the Texas captain, seeing her unconscious in that old mine shaft...
"Hey," Tommy said gently, his other hand taking Buck's where it was squeezing Tommy's pillow. "Evan, I'll be okay. I'm very good at my job."
"I know," Buck said lowly.
Tommy leaned in, forcing Buck to make eye contact with him. "Hey. You think I worry about you, when you hang from the side of a high-rise or throw yourself into a burning semi truck?"
To be fair, Buck had only done each of those things once since they got together (okay, the high-rise happened twice, but it was LA, there were a lot of high-rises).
"Uh, yeah," Buck said, turning over to face him better. "I think you do worry about me. Probably has something to do with you meeting me on the scene and scooping me into your arms, saying oh Evan, I was so worried - "
"I did not scoop you - "
"You did some scooping, Kinard," Buck teased. "Chim and Hen still haven't let me live it down."

hiiii, so i was deep down the rabbit hole a couple days ago and i saw a post of yours talking about which of the clones would mesh well with an ace reader. the two i remember were tup and alpha-17. i was wondering if you could write something where reader is kinda hesitant to tell their new partner because the troopers are kinda intense but they’re super reassuring and it’s very fluffy.
Confession
Summary: You’ve recently started dating Tup, and you know you need to have a conversation with him. You’re just a little anxious about it.
Pairing: Clone Trooper Tup x Reader
Word Count: 1030
Warnings: None
Tagging: @trixie2023 @n0vqni @imabeautifulbutterfly
A/N: I wasn't sure if you wanted short little drabbles for both Alpha and Tup, or a longer fic with one or the other, so I decided to go with a longer fic with Tup. I hope you don't mind. Also, I hope this is soft and fluffy like you wanted!
“So this is where you live?” Tup asks as he peers around your apartment, taking in the family photos of you with your parents and siblings, the variety of random paintings that you’ve acquired over the years, and the old and unmatched furniture that gives your home a kind of eclectic vibe.
You like it, though you know that it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
“Yeah,” You say with a nervous smile, “This is me. I’m the youngest in my family, so when I moved out my siblings and parents and grandparents dumped all of their old furniture on me-”
“I like it. It suits you.” Tup interrupts with a grin.
You narrow your eyes at him, “I’m going to take that as a compliment.”
“It was meant to be one, don’t worry.” Tup wanders over to the corner, where there’s a basket full of toddler toys, “You babysit a lot?”
“My older brother works a lot, and since his wife walked out on them-” You shrug and stoop to grab a stuffed tooka that didn’t make its way into the toybox after the last time you watched the twins, “I offered to help every so often. Mom had a doctors appointment last week, so I got the twins for a couple of hours.”
“It’s nice that you’re willing to help your family.” Tup replies easily.
You shrug awkwardly, “Well, he’s my brother. And the twins are pretty cool, you know, for toddlers.”
He laughs softly, and favors you with a smile that’s so warm and soft that you feel momentarily guilty for what you’re about to say to him. And then you’re annoyed at yourself for feeling guilty.
“You said that there’s something that you needed to tell me?” Tup prompts as he kneels down to pick up some more toys that had fallen out of the chest. “Do you need to reschedule our date for this weekend to watch the twins?”
“No, no. It’s nothing like that.” You reassure, “I’m looking forward to our date this weekend. But there’s something you need to know about me before we do that. And I probably should have told you before hand but-” You trail off with a shrug, “I was worried that you’d run off.”
Tup stares at you, “Alright,” He says slowly, “You have my attention.”
You press your fingers together, and take a deep breath. “I’m asexual.” You blurt out, rather than spewing into the speech that you prepared and obsessed over for the last several days.
Tup blinks at you.
“Um, so, that means that I don’t really feel-”
“I know what it means, cyare.” Tup interrupts gently, absolutely no heat in his voice, and when you chance a glance at him, he’s still watching you with that soft and sweet expression on his face.
“Oh. Right. Of course.”
Tup stands and walks over to you, “Am I allowed to touch you, cyare?”
“Yeah, of course.”
He smiles and his hand comes up to press against your cheek, his calloused fingers rough against your skin, though there was something almost soothing about it too. “Thank you for telling me.” Tup says quietly.
“Yeah, well...it is an important thing for you to know.” You reply.
“It is.” He agrees, “We’ll have to sit down and talk about what hard limits you have at some point-”
“Wait! You’re not breaking up with me?” You blurt.
“...do you want me to?” Tup asks, bewildered.
“No! Of course not! I just...I...normally people-” You trail off, unable to finish your statement, “It’s either a hard breaking point or they think that I’m broken.” You finish lamely, and more than a little bitterly.
“Right...so. First off, I’m a full grown man and I’m more than capable of taking care of my needs on my own,” Tup says dryly, “Second of all, you’re not broken. That’s a disgusting way for anyone to talk about you. It’s not like you picked your sexuality.”
You laugh softly, “You’d be surprised at how often people think differently.”
“Well, I don’t. I’m not going to break up with you over something so easily navigated.” Tup says, “I’m not going to break up with you unless you want to break up. So, I’m afraid you’re stuck with me.”
“I’m glad for it.” You admit quietly.
Tup lightly tugs you into a hug, his arms tight and comforting around you. “I have an idea.”
“Hm?”
“Since I’m already here, how about we have a date night?”
You shift your head on his shoulder to look at him curiously, “Date night?”
“Mm, we can order in and watch a holo.” Tup offers temptingly.
“That does sound very enjoyable,” You murmur thoughtfully, “There’s a place near here that’s really good.”
“I’m filled with good ideas,” Tup brags with a small grin.
“Hm, is that right? Would your brothers agree if I asked them?” You tease.
“No, but that’s because they have horrible taste.” Tup replies.
“Do they?”
“Yep. Have you seen some of their tattoos?”
“Tup...you have a teardrop tattooed on your face.”
“And I look amazing, yes, I know.”
You press your face against his shoulder and dissolve into giggles, “I’m going to go get my datapad so we can order food, you absolutely ridiculous man.”
He grins at you and presses a light kiss to your forehead, “Feeling better, cyare?”
You grin right back at him, “I do. I don’t know why I was so nervous.”
“Because I’m intimidating.” Tup says solemnly, though there’s laughter written on his face.
“Oh, naturally.” You press a quick kiss to his cheek, “If you’re not careful, I’m going to fall in love with you, Tup.”
“Oh good, my evil plan is working.”
You dissolve into laughter again, “If you keep this up I’m not going to be able to order us dinner.” You warn.
“Well, we can’t have that.” Tup cups your face with both of his hands, “Can I kiss you?”
“I’d like that,”
His leans in and brushes his lips across your lips in a ghost of a kiss, and then he laughs into the kiss as you pull him down into a proper kiss. “Impatient.” He chides.
“Yes, I am.”
