Paul's Hardships and God's Grace
1 Now because we are fellow workers, we also urge you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says,
“At the acceptable time I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.”
Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation! 3 We are giving no one an occasion for taking offense in anything, in order that our ministry will not have fault found with it, 4 but commending ourselves as servants of God in every way, in much endurance, in afflictions, in distresses, in difficulties, 5 in beatings, in prisons, in disturbances, in troubles, in sleepless nights, in going hungry, 6 in purity, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in love without hypocrisy, 7 in the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand and left hand, 8 through glory and dishonor, through slander and good repute, regarded as deceivers and yet truthful, 9 as unknown and yet known completely, as dying, and behold, we go on living, as disciplined, and yet not put to death, 10 as grieving, but always rejoicing, as poor, but making many rich, as having nothing, and possessing everything.
11 We have spoken freely and openly to you, Corinthians; our heart is open wide. 12 You are not restricted by us, but you are restricted in your affections. 13 Now the same way in exchange (I am speaking as to children), you open wide your hearts also.
Do Not Become Unevenly Yoked with Unbelievers
14 Do not become unevenly yoked with unbelievers, for what participation is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 15 And what agreement does Christ have with Beliar? Or what share does a believer have with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said,

2 Corinthians 6, Reed's Version
So, as God’s coworkers, we urge you to not let His generous gift to you become ineffective. As God says in Scripture, “At a moment of My favor I listened to you; on a day of deliverance I helped you.” Don’t you see? Now is the moment of God’s favor! Now is the day of deliverance! So we try to make sure no one has any cause to stumble at our teaching, so that our message won’t be discredited. Rather, since we are God’s servants, we stand by our conduct in every circumstance, showing great endurance — whether under oppression, hardship or distress, during beatings, imprisonments or riots, going without rest, sleep or food. We serve in purity and knowledge, with patience and kindness. In sincere love and by the gifts of the Holy Spirit we speak the message of truth with power from God. Well-equipped with the holy tools of redemption, we persevere whether we are honored or dishonored, whether praised or slandered, whether seen as leading or misleading. We are both unknown and yet known, dying and yet here we are — alive! We are punished but not yet executed, sorrowful and yet rejoicing. We are poor and yet we enrich many, we have nothing and yet possess everything.
We have been completely open with you, dear Corinthians, and our hearts are full. But while we have made room in our hearts for you, you haven’t done the same. As my very own children, I say to you: open up your hearts to us in return.
Do not be partnered with an unbeliever. You see, what does virtue share with vice? Does light have anything to do with darkness? Do Christ and Satan agree on anything? Does the believer have anything in common with the unbeliever? What harmony is there between the temple of God and lifeless idols? Because we ourselves are the temple of the living God. It’s what God meant when He said, “I will live and move among them, and I will be their God and they will be my people.”
That’s why He says, “Leave and be separate from the peoples around you; don’t touch anything that’s ceremonially unclean, and I will welcome you.”
And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters,” says the omnipotent Lord.

Matthew 6:34. “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
2 Corinthians 12:9. “My Grace is sufficient for you.”
“There is no need to worry” (Matthew 6) By Darlene:
“Sometimes, it can be really hard not to worry about the future, especially in these uncertain times, but in Matthew 6:34 Jesus says to us “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.” Why does Jesus say this? Because He gives us His Grace (his help, his strength, his wisdom) just at the time we need it, not before.
When we spend our time worrying about the future, it is like we are experiencing a future negative event over and over, when God hasn’t given us His Grace to go through it yet.
We may even be worrying about something that doesn’t even happen. So all that worry, stress and emotional pain has been for nothing. I’m sure many of you have heard the acronym for FEAR:

E EVIDENCE
A APPEARING
R REAL
God is faithful. He will always give us the Grace we need for any situation at just the right time, not before. Trust God today. Rest in His Grace today. His Grace will be there for you tomorrow.”

καθὼς εἶπεν ὁ θεὸς ὅτι   ἐνοικήσω ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἐμπεριπατήσω   καὶ ἔσομαι αὐτῶν θεὸς καὶ αὐτοὶ ἔσονταί μου λαός. 
 17 διὸ ἐξέλθατε ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν   καὶ ἀφορίσθητε, λέγει κύριος,   καὶ ἀκαθάρτου μὴ ἅπτεσθε·   κἀγὼ εἰσδέξομαι ὑμᾶς

My translation: 
just as God said, that,  “I will dwell among and walk among them  and I will be their God and they will be my people.”

6:16b 
The comparative adverb καθὼς connects the above discussion with the 2nd aorist εἶπεν (from λέγω), whose subject is ὁ θεὸς. 
ὅτι introduces direct discourse, a citation which is conflated from Leviticus 26:11–12 and Ezekiel 37:27; Paul substitutes ἐνοικήσω for ἒσται ἡ κατασκήνωσίς μου. 
ἐνοικέω (5x), from ἐν + οικέω, is “I live, dwell (in)” (BDAG). The future ἐνοικήσω is modified by the locative prepositional phrase ἐν αὐτοῖς (“among them”); the preposition is commonly repeated after the prefixed verb. 
The hapax legomenon ἐμπεριπατέω, from ἐν + περιπατέω, is “I walk about, move” (BDAG). ἐν αὐτοῖς above is also to be taken with the future ἐμπεριπατήσω.

The second OT citation is from Isaiah 52:11, close to the LXX but for word order and the change of αὐτῆς (referring to Babylon) to αὐτῶν. 
The inferential conjunction διὸ is, “therefore”. The aorist imperative ἐξέλθατε (from ἐξέρχομαι; using 1st aorist ending — usual 2nd aorist form is ἐξέλθετε) is modified by the prepositional phrase ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν (“out of their midst”); the preposition is commonly repeated after prefixed verbs. 
ἀφορίζω (10x), from ἀπό + ὁρίζω (8x) “I separate, set apart”, is literally, “I separate away”; BDAG: “I set apart [for a purpose], appoint”. The aorist passive imperative ἀφορίσθητε is intransitive (“separate yourselves”); most translations: “be separate”. 
The subject of the present λέγει (from λέγω) is κύριος. The anarthrous noun is definite. The present-tense of the verb testifies to the ongoing witness of scripture. 
ἀκαθάρτου is the genitive direct object of the negated present middle imperative μὴ ἅπτεσθε (from ἅπτω; in the mid.: “I touch”). The present-tense of the imperative could either prohibit an action already in progress (“Stop ...”) or indicate an ongoing precept (“Never ...”). 
The next phrase comes from Ezekiel 20:34, in a similar context as Isaiah 52 (return from exile). 
κἀγὼ is a crasis of καί + ἐγώ. 
The hapax legomenon εἰσδέχομαι, from εἰς + δέχομαι, is “I receive, welcome (in)”. ‘The compound occurs nowhere else in the N.T., but is fairly common in the LXX., esp. of the Divine promises’ (CGT). The direct object of the future εἰσδέξομαι is ὑμᾶς.

The next citation is from 2 Samuel 7:14; Paul exchanges the 3rd person singular pronouns (which originally referred to David) to 2nd person plural, changes υἱόν to the plural υἱούς, and adds καὶ θυγατέρας. 
The future middle ἔσομαι (from εἰμί; dep. in the fut.) is modified ὑμῖν, which could be a dative of advantage or possessive dative. The preposition εἰς with accusative πατέρα is a Semitism, equivalent to a predicate nominative (“I will be a Father to you”, most translations). 
ὑμεῖς is the emphatic subject of the future middle ἔσεσθέ (from εἰμί; dep. in the fut.). μοι is a dative of advantage or possessive dative. The preposition εἰς with accusative υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας (“sons and daughters”) is equivalent to a predicate nominative.

ὁ παντοκράτωρ (10x, 9 of which in Revelation), from πᾶς + κρατέω, is “all powerful”, used substantivally as “the Almighty” (BDAG); NIGTC: “all-sovereign”. παντοκράτωρ stands in apposition to κύριος above.
