Contrary to popular belief that French people were extremely rude; Mr. Morton thinks that the lone French in their school have been nothing but nice and cheerful. Unfortunately, Mrs. Microft and most of the 7th to 8th grade teachers did not share the same sentiment. Thus, leaving them to tolerate the rude welcome and treatment of the senior teacher towards you, and that went on for the whole five years you’ve been in Abbott.
“Good morning, Mrs. Microft!” You greeted the senior teacher with a smile. And although she paid no attention to your presence and your greeting, you maintained your composure and left your lunch inside the fridge, then went on with your day.
Yet, when you came back to the lounge for lunch, you found no remnants of your lunch; even the container was gone. Deciding to let this slide, like the other mistreatment you got from the senior teacher, you sighed and took your purse to eat lunch at the coffee shop near the school.
“Damn, Y/N. That is wild; I didn’t think white racism would be prominent here; guess I was wrong.” Ava gave you a pat on the back while sipping her coffee. “This coffee is also wild! Y’all gotta try this new coffee maker I got for the school!”
Barbara and Melissa gave Ava a look before giving you sympathetic glances. This made you roll your eyes at Ava. “Stop looking at me like that; that was about three years ago.”
“If y’all ever want to plot revenge, I got her address somewhere in my office. I ain’t helping you look though,” said Ava, leaving all of you to think for reasons you haven’t reported her to HR yet.
“I’m just glad she left; with no one to torment me now, maybe the other teachers will also treat me like a colleague.” You straightened your posture and gave a clap. The smile on your face was so contagious, it took Melissa turning her back to you and looking at Barb to hide her smile.
“Doubt that.” Mr. Morton always knew when to rain on your parade. His comment made Melissa’s face turn serious.
“And why’s that, huh? Y’know any more teachers that’ll torment French fry here?” Melissa tilted her head towards you while still looking at Mr. Morton. While the protectiveness was appreciated, you couldn’t help but blush at the nickname that the redheaded teacher gave you. Ever since knowing that you were French, the Italian made it her daily routine to criticize your lunch, whether it was homemade or a takeout from the local French restaurant.
Sitting down on the nearest chair, Mr. Morton nodded and opened his lesson plan. “That girl, new hire, Charity Microft.”
The hand supporting your face fell on the table with a bang, making Melissa and Barbara look at you incredulously. With your eyes as wide as saucers, you gave Mr. Morton a horrified look. “What do you mean, Charity Microft? As in, Charity Microft the girl I talked to you about? Or Charity Microft the successor of Mrs. Microft the she-devil?”
“Both.” Letting out a cry, you hid your face from your ‘friends’ if you could call them that and huffed.
Janine, the ever-caring human that she is, caressed your back for a solid second before she saw Melissa giving her a glare, making her pull her hand away from you and whisper something to Jacob. Whatever Janine said, it made Jacob choke in fear when he glanced in Melissa’s direction.
As Barbara was about to say something to Melissa, the bell rang, making the kindergarten teacher sigh and give Melissa a look that said. ‘We’ll talk later’.
Nodding her head, Melissa stood up and pulled your arm. "C'mon, French fry, let’s get you to your classroom. We’ll talk later.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your ‘talk’ didn’t happen. In fact, Melissa left before you and Barb could even catch her. She only saw Ava before leaving with a grin.
“What do you mean she left flexing her arm?”
Sighing, Ava dropped her foot from the table and leaned forward. “Look, I ain’t snitching why she left that way or why she went here before leaving.”
Huffing, you crossed your arms and raised an eyebrow. “And why is that, Ava?”
“She’ll beat my ass,” Ava said before shooing both of you out of her office.
Pursing her lips, Barbara turned to you and gave you a pat on the shoulder. “Now, I need to leave. My Gerald and I have a schedule at that French place you told us about. But after that, I’ll try to get a hold of Melissa, and then I’ll call you to tell you what I gathered.” Then she left, leaving you to contemplate whether to call Melissa on your own or wait until tomorrow. You decided on the latter.
Groaning, you stomped towards your Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. Your mother harbored great disdain for your choice of vehicle, and your father was extremely happy when you told him you bought a bike rather than a car. He even went all out to message you every detail about riding motorcycles in America and how it differed from riding a motorcycle in France.
As you drove our normal route, you thought you saw Melissa’s car parked on the street a block away from you, but you shook your head and thought there was no way she lived that close to you. Parking your vehicle in front of your house, you jumped repeatedly, a tradition you caught on to because of your father back in France. Your father told you that jumping just outside your home left the awful things that latched onto you that day outside.
Stepping inside your house, you were greeted by your cat purring around your leg and nipping your toes to get your attention. Laughing, you gave your cat a pat on the head. “Okay, okay. Mommy’s going to give you treats once she gets out of these uncomfortable clothes.”
But you didn’t get to change your work clothes. A knock souned through your house walls before you could walk into your room. "Oh, come on!” You stomped towards the door and pulled it open. “What do you want?”
“Hey hon,” said a redheaded woman holding a baseball bat covered in shards of glass and red paint. What you hoped was red paint.

Excellent essay on Charles and Ferrari as always! Agree every word you said and firmly believe Charles is still Ferrari’s priority.
Wanna share my 2 cents from a commercial POV: why it doesn’t make sense for Ferrari to sideline or sacrifice Charles for Lewis’ 8th WDC
By making Lewis a 8 WDC, the incremental commercial gain for Ferrari actually is not as much as people think. He has already generated massive revenue for Ferrari via sponsorships and merchandise by joining Ferrari as a 7 WDC. His fan base, marketing power and sponsorship are not going to increase substantially because he now has 8 WDC.
Then we consider the cost by screwing Charles over to help Lewis. The most likely outcome will be Lewis will retire on the spot after winning his 8th and Charles will walk (to Redbull). Ferrari will need to explain to sponsors ‘oh the two most marketable F1 drivers are longer with us but we have…Bearman...?’ Even if the sponsor stays, the sponsorship will be much much less.
Lewis is going to retire after this contract. Making Charles his successor is the best way to keep every cent (and sponsors) he brings to stay at Ferrari. Yes Lewis will be the ambassador after retirement but Ferrari still needs an active driver to keep the sponsors happy and attract new fans. There is just no other better candidate than Charles. It makes no sense to piss him off and push him to another team.
This is an excellent take anon I love it. I just have a couple of things to add. I don't think Lewis winning the 8th at Ferrari fair and square would push Charles to another team NECESSARILY, but Charles DOES have that exit clause in his contract at the end of 2026. I have no doubt that if Ferrari show extreme favouritism towards Lewis, despite Charles and Lewis being evenly matched in their cars, Charles will threaten to activate it and walk away at the same time as Lewis retires which would cause an absolute crisis.
Likewise, Charles USP is and always has been that he is Il Predestinato, the chosen one that the prophecy foretells will bring the championship home to Maranello. I think that Ferrari can sell the Il Predestinato narrative better than Lewis Hamilton breaks Schumacher's record in Schumacher's backyard, especially to tifosi.
But, as I mentioned in the essay, Charles has to earn the right to bring the championship home. And I think that this is a fact that Charles and Lewis both more or less accept. If Lewis Hamilton clears Charles in equal machinery, then the eighth is Lewis's fair and square and Lewis gets it and while Charles would understandably be disappointed I think he would accept the outcome. But if home-grown Ferrari golden boy Charles Leclerc can outrace 7x WDC Lewis Hamilton and fulfil the Il Predestinato prophecy, well then the glory is Charles's and I don't see Lewis begrudging him for that.

TesFest23, Aug 8th (Day 4): Prompt- Mortal
The End of Order --- Shivering Isles DLC @tes-summer-fest
Tumblr media
When Jyggalag showed up in the palace courtyard, there was a huge explosion and every Saints and Seducers were killed. Somehow, the only one standing was the Hero of Kvatch. A mortal.
Jyggalag is an all powerful Daedric Prince, who was feared by other Daedric Princes. They believe he can conquer across the seas of Oblivion. Maybe he has some kind of power specific to kill Daedra. That basically makes Jyggalag unstoppable against other's Daedra army. Other Daedric Princes had grown so fearful they had to gang up on him.
Maybe that's why his attack is ineffective on us, a mortal. Jyggalag killed Sheogorath's army in one hit. We're not just survived the attack. We're completely uninfluenced by the explosion, because it only works on Daedra.
It kinda also answer my question about why they let our HOK becomes Sheogorath. Surely there is someone more suitable for the job. Some high rank Daedra general, his Demi-Princes, or someone in the court more familiar with the job or something. Our HOK is literally just some guy. We literally just got here.
Speaking of just got here, when we first enter the strange door, Haskill said: "My Lord seeks a MORTAL to act as His Champion." Sheogorath was asking for a mortal champion. He actually wanted a mortal. If Jyggalag is strong against the Daedra, maybe we need a none Daedra to defeat him. The answer is so obvious! A MORTAL!
I mean, letting a mortal be your successor is kinda crazy ;) but in a way, mortal is kind of opposite to order. Even Dyus is annoyed by our nature of changing and irrational behavior (How I loathe the idea of personal choice). Maybe we are a perfect choice for God of Madness. In the end, defy all logic, we did defeat the powerful Daedric Prince of Order. Just us. A mere mortal.
Thank you for coming to my TES talk.

These are some facts and curiosities about Ernst Kalternbrunner, Heydrich's successor:
He was born on 4 October 1903 in Austria.
After attending the University of Graz, he obtained his qualification as a lawyer in 1926; profession which he practiced first in Linz, then in Salzburg and again in Linz from 1928
He joined the Nazi Party and the Austrian SS in 1932, first as Gauredner (district speaker) and later Rechtsberater (legal advisor) of the 8th SS Division.
From mid-1935 Kaltenbrunner was the leader of the Austrian SS. He assisted in the Anschluss and Hitler promoted him to SS-Brigadeführer on the day the Anschluss was completed.
In July 1940, he was commissioned as a SS-Untersturmführer in the Waffen-SS Reserve.Later in April 1941, he was promoted to major general (Generalleutnant) of the Police. On 30 January 1943 Kaltenbrunner was appointed Chief of the RSHA. He held this position until the end of the war.
Toward the end of the war, Kaltenbrunner's power increased greatly, especially after the attack on Hitler of 20 July 1944, upon which he gained direct access to the Führer. He was also responsible for conducting "kangaroo trials" and calling for the execution of all the people who were accused of plotting against Hitler.
It was often said that even Heinrich Himmler feared him and he managed to be an intimidating figure with his height, facial scars and volatile temper.
He was long-time friends with Otto Skorzeny and recommended him for many secret missions, allowing Skorzeny to become one of Hitler's valued agents.
It was rumored that he was responsible for Adolf Eichmann's failure to attain the rank of SS-colonel.
In December 1944, Kaltenbrunner was granted the rank of General of the Waffen-SS.
On 18 April 1945, Himmler named Kaltenbrunner Commander-in-Chief of those remaining German forces in Southern Europe.
On 12 May 1945 he was captured by a U.S. patrol and arrested.
At the Nuremberg Trials, Kaltenbrunner was charged with conspiracy to commit crimes against peace, war-crimes and crimes against humanity. The most notable witness in this trial was Rudolf Höss, the camp commander of the Auschwitz concentration camp.
During the initial stages of the Nuremberg trials, He was absent because of two episodes of subarachnoid hemorrhage. He was senteced to death.
He was executed by hanging at around 1:40 a.m. on 16 October 1946.
He married  Elisabeth Eder and they had three children. In addition to the children from his marriage, Kaltenbrunner had twins, Ursula and Wolfgang, (b. 1945) with his long-time mistress Gisela Gräfin von Westarp (née Wolf). All of his children survived the war.

I think that there is a pretty clear difference between last life Scar and Secret Life Scar. In Last Life, Scar's one alliance (Joel) was immediately forced away from him due to the rules imposed by that reds could only ally themselves with reds. So while Joel was off planning his villainy, Scar was left alone by the greens and yellows of the server. The main difference being *no one wanted to be allied with Scar.* Adding to the fact was how in LL Scar was seeing as someone who died easily, thus making him seem less like a threat and more like a burden. People would also use Scar constantly, forcing him to give them his lives. Scar seemed to be also particularly keen on teaming up with Grian and Mumbo's team which ultimately cost him a life.
In Secret Life, things are quite different. For starters, while Scar is still known for dying, he is also known for killing and destroying in general as well as his ability to manipulate people. He is certainly a lot more respected in SL. No, the reason why Scar ends up alone in SL isn't because he is shunned by the server. It is his own hubris. The Heart Foundation spent an entire episode trying to get Scar to join them to scam other people. Mumbo was hanging around him quite frequently, hell, even Grian, who originally loathed the idea of being allied with Scar was willing to partner up with him, but Scar refused (and yes, Ik that with Grian's case Scar was made to refuse by his task, but he didn't even try to go to him the following session.) Point is, Scar was more interested in building his own town and himself until it was too late and the whole server was already allied. Even in the 8th session, we see how Scar is still not willing to fully commit to anyone as he is first trying a partnership with Scott, then Pearl, then even Bdubs. Scar still doesn't fully want friends. He wants people who aren't going to kill him. Which is why, while yes, the secret keeper is certainly trying to make Scar a villain. When it comes to being alone, he somewhat sowed what he planted.
In truth, secret life feels almost like the successor to last life. He was originally so desperate for allies in that season and no one wanted to be with him, and now that people realized he was a threat, they tried to team up, but because he originally refused, he was ultimately villanized (you can say that the watchers and the secret keeper were the ones who villanized him due to his refusal to make meaningful bonds)

Mermaids Tale - Chapter 4
Tumblr media
This was a fun chapter to revise, no smut, just pure details of Heeseung's ancestry. hehehehe. it's getting good.
So because tumblr is still being a pain, this isnt' really proof read. I couldn't copy and paste the chapter in, so i had just retype the whole thing while staring at the original draft to keep the flow of the storyline accurate, but there might be some grammar errors. I'll fix that whenever Tumblr stops being mean to me.
Pairings: Heeseung and you
Warnings: So while there is no smut, there is mentioning and implying of slave breeding, coerce sex, rape (not mentioned directly, just implied) being used for DNA, capture and imprisonment, and i think that's it. some of it is directly stated, while majority of it is heavily implied.
Begin read below line :)
8th Century BC
In the northern sphere of the southwestern district, an area where the Balkan Peninsula would eventually run through in the Mediterranean region, an ancient kingdom currently occupies a large part of the European continent, bearing as the most notorious empire in the world.
Named after its line of successors during the age of its victorious period, the kingdom had become the most significant empire during the Byzantine Dynasty. It’s last known ruler, history’s triumphant conqueror, Alexander III of Macedon, son of Philip II, became greatly known for his enhanced strategic command and leadership, and the greatest King during the Macedon Dynasty.
Today, he is commonly known as Alexander the Great.
Following the events that took place within the Asia Minor, the great king feared of the dangers that lurked and threatened his line of succession. Establishing a hidden order and made up entirely of his secret sons to carry out his legacy, a clan, called the “Sons of Adam”, named after the First Man, was created. Carrying the bloodline of his ruling essence, through ages of descendants produced by his own offspring, Alexanders will, unaware by the myriad of enemies he made during his conquer, thrived through the proposed non-existence of his male heirs.
Knowing the dangers of corruption that remained prevalent in his kingdom, Alexander could not afford to put his bloodline at risk of elimination at the hands of his enemies, thus all records of his sons were destroyed, as they were removed from the kingdom and tucked away within the great monasteries of the continent.
By forming the clan, members, simply known as an “Adam”, were highly trained and skilled in the art of using sword and shield. They learned the battle techniques that were both domestic and foreign to them, developing advanced flexibility, stamina, and strength. Under secrecy, they were assigned to the temples that worshipped the ancient Gods of their time, serving as the guardians that protected the old religion, becoming just as forgettable as the priests and nuns who lived amongst, and cared for them.
When Alexanders untimely death came about, many throughout Persia and the Asia Minor displayed their corruptions as countless formations that the former king left behind, were eradicated. Many agreements became broken, all leading to the division of the Macedon Kingdom, ceasing its existence.
To avoid the risk of exposing their identities, the Sons of Adam were eventually migrated to Hellenistic Sicily, to further keep their lineage a secret as the last known warriors of Macedonia.
Through the natural and manmade disasters that occurred through every period of the world’s age, the sons of Alexander the Great had no choice but to spread, furthering the promotion of their procreation as the prestige lineage of a dying breed.
In the early 19th century, a young Merchant Marine by the name of Ethan Alexandros, travels and participates in the Russo-Japanese War during the Joseon Dynasty. In the aftermath, Ethan retires and remained in the conquered country of Korea, marrying a local woman, and carrying out his deed as a descendant of his great relative and wife, Alexander and Roxana, as well as carrying out the sworn duty as an Adam.
Much like his relatives, the fellow Adams immigrated throughout the world, spreading their legacy, and secretly merged with humanity. Through their great traits, some of which displayed longevity in their lifespan and youth, or inhuman strength, the Adams were careful to remain unidentified, Ethan was no different.
Continuing the bestowal of his ancestor’s birthright in the oriental region, Ethan and his wife produced three sons, all of which continued the lineage of male born offspring to continue. Just as his relatives had done to him, he blesses them with a surname that is not of his own, to carefully maintain the discretion of the clan’s formation. Allowing his children to inherit the name of their mother’s family, Ethan’s sons were all christened with the surname, Lee.
Today, a young man, unaware of his superior lineage, migrates through the city. With the intelligence equivalent to that of the most respected educators in the world, and the abnormally high aptitude of mastering abilities, both in combat and various skillsets, Lee Heeseung is bidding farewell to his peers and employment, as a member of the elite SWAT force of the Provisional Government in his division. Along with his elder brothers, the boys displayed impressive records of their abilities in their military background, earning them an expedited transfer into the force upon completing their time in service, as the eldest became the lead security chief of staff for the nation’s government, while the middle brother was contracted as a general for the nation’s largest military force. The youngest, with his high modest and humble value, opted for a contract to better serve the public, and signed with the police organization, accepting the role of supervising team leader and chief of his division.
For the youngest son, that was always the case, he differed greatly from his elder brothers. He was smarter, stronger, the highest skilled and talented among the three. It was widely known how abnormally attractive each brother was, however, Heeseung always won the majority of popular votes when it came to being the best looking out of the three. It wasn’t just limited to his appearance either, the man had a gift of song as he would often, while unintentionally, serenade every woman, or even men, whenever his team would let off some steam and partake in a night of drinking and karaoke. Bewildered by the trait of capturing the hearts of everyone around him, it was eerie for his friends and co-workers to note how the people around him, as he sung sweetly to the tunes of the song of choice, entranced all around him.
How was this possible?...
‘The ancestor Ethan was a descendant of Alexander and his youngest wife, Roxana, well after the order was established, many Adam’s caught the eye of kings and rulers during the period of when mortals were at war with the Sirens. Noting their enhanced combat abilities and vast knowledge in foreign weaponry and techniques, the Adam’s were all bid and hired by the kings of the land to aid in humanity’s conquest in defeating the Sirens.
Just as expected of them, the Adam’s were able to not only fend off the maidens of the sea, somehow, though still unexplainable, the Adam’s were immune to the whims of the oceanic goddesses as many of them were defeated and brutally killed off by the prowess of the clan, though, had they not been masked and blinded by the steel guard of their head pieces, inhibiting the clear view of the other worldly beauty of each maiden slaughtered, the clan would have committed to more humane death.
After realizing the beauty of these maidens, which appeared to be the only factor that had any effect on the clan, the eldest Adam, Philippe, commanded his brethren to capture and detain whatever maiden was left. Upon learning that the maidens had the ability to develop legs, the captured Sirens were imprisoned on land, within the grand estates of the clan, all awarded by the kings that hired the young men.
Unbeknownst to the royal family, the Adam’s brought back the remaining Sirens, trapped them within their mansions as they turned them into wives, and produced future sons with them. It was both out of endearment and love for their beauty and to enhance their bloodline as they discovered that offspring between an Adam and a Siren, contained the capabilities of both worlds. Their lifespan increased, immunities against disease and poison was enhanced, their strengths and ability in the water also evolved. Though it wasn’t apparent with every single offspring, some, the rare types, were born with all the above traits, along with the ability to hypnotize their opponents with their voice, a trait that solely came from the lineage of their maternal side.
An uncommon ability, yet widely desired amongst the descendants, the Adam’s strived to produce the strongest of heirs, as they kept the Siren’s to themselves, forcing them to live and adapt to live among mortals, something that Celine, the youngest siren, did out of her own accord.
Aware of what had happened with her captured sisters, Celine was careful to avoid crossing paths with the male descendants. However, the dying number of sirens that managed to avoid getting captured, were all forced to hide in the deep trenches of the ocean, remaining out of sight as they feared the clan. Realizing that she did not desire to lurk in darkness forever, Celine migrated to the land, where she portrayed herself as a mere mortal survivor from shipwreck, met and married a kind sailor who became enamored by her beauty and sweet voice.
Within due time, Celine learned to love and care for her husband, wanting nothing more than to be by his side forever. Even though her tolerance for mortals was more temperamental and gentler compared to the ruthless behavior of her sisters, Celine never thought it possible to love one. Yet, as fate would have it, her immortality inhibited her from continuing her happiness with him in the afterlife, thus was left with no choice but to disappear and go back to the sea once her husband aged but noticed that his wife’s appearance remained the same. It was heart breaking; however, she knew it had to be done for the safety of herself and her daughters. Making a pact and telling them of their bloodline, the daughters bid farewell to their mother, and continued their lives, promising that the story of their ancestry is passed down to each generation, and if the moment comes where a daughter falls in love and marries a mortal, she too, at some point in her life, will have to disappear and live her life roaming in the sea…’
Earlier in the year, the elders of the Lee family established an agreement for the three brothers to take over the major corporation as the President, CEO and Executive Director of the affluential company that monopolized the world, establishing an impressive family background and insurmountable wealth to their name. It was always the family’s wish, contracting an agreement with the boys since childhood that they were free to choose their path up until the time would come, where each one must set aside whatever career or background they marked on their own, and take in the responsibility of continuing the direction of the family’s economical creation, to maintain the superior status of the Lee family line. It was an act to keep the business strictly within the family, avoiding the risks of outsiders in corrupting and ruining what the Lee family had created and entitled in their name.
Each day, adorning dashing suits and expensive accessories, Heeseung slowly acclimates to a lifestyle that lacked the thrill and adventure he was accustomed to by joining the Navy Seals, transferring into the SWAT force, and overseeing the division of the districts most promising officers.
Soon after he inherited his new billet of becoming the executive director of his family’s company, under the mentorship of his grandfather, the feeling of complacency coated his mood as he found himself succumbing to boredom. Taking note of his lack of enthusiasm, the senior member of the company’s presidential board did his best to enthrall his grandson in a myriad of ways; hiring the prettiest applicants to fulfill the roles of his personal secretary or filling the entire upper floor of the headquarters building with the loveliest staff members to accompany his business trips at his choosing.
Appreciating his grandfather’s efforts, Heeseung put up a front, but never exposed that his grandfather’s method didn’t work. It only provided temporary aid in relieving the mental frustrations he developed from his administrative duties as he chose one lovely woman or another each week, bedding and spoiling them rotten until they too became dull and boorish to his desire.
Day by day, Heeseung managed to acclimate to his new duties by balancing his time in the prestige gym facility at the company’s headquarters building, or by frequenting the luxury spots in town with a different beautiful woman by his side. The thrill of seeking, tracking, and capturing criminals or terrorists was hard to replace, but he somehow was able to manage. Long before he knew it, the yearning sense of that active career didn’t bug him as much, largely thanks to the amount of martial art sessions he did throughout the day, at least his senior position at the company allotted him his own schedule to do nearly whatever he wanted. It was good to be king. Within due time, he mastered the arts of Karate, Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, hell, he ever learned to dance extravagant choreographies, hiring the best in the business as tutors.
Getting by, he grew more content, putting his elder family members at peace of mind as they were overly concerned the boy would stray from his diligent duties, due to the austerity of adapting to his new environment. It all became a lot easier once he was able to fill his days with the most challenging and physical demanding hobbies, and developing friends whose families became connected to his family through contracted partnerships, expanding influence and wealth, yet remained just as humble as he did. Friends such as Jake, and Jay.
Yes, all was seemingly going well and finally he was beginning to feel content…
Until he met you…
Not only did the urge and the thrill of ‘hunting’ came back to his senses, but it was also stronger. Much stronger than it ever had been. Unsure as to why, it was clear that you weren’t a criminal or posed as a threat to anyone, if anything, you were dignified and classy, it was remarkable. Yet your physical traits, whistling voice, and royal posture went unnoticed as he couldn’t help but watched you the entire event that night. His mind was filled with all sorts of thoughts, some sordid, while others were genuinely romantic. It was hard to make sense of the feeling, he’s never felt it before, something just stirred inside him, and it was so powerful that he swore he stopped breathing for a moment.
Aside from being trapped in a world of your wonderous beauty, there was another matter that was left unexplained. In the parameters of your presence, there was a feeling, a sensation that ripped through his body, it was neither painful nor pleasant. Almost as if something about you was calling to him, it was a phenomenon that only could be felt whenever you were nearby, yet the moment he noticed and watched you sneak out, under the pretense that you did so undetected, he allowed you to ‘escape’ as his theory turned into a fact when he watched you exit out of the ballroom, and along with you, that odd sensation disappeared.
However, even after you departed, it did nothing to inhibit the image of your face, the swaying of your body and feminine essence as you walk, and the flowing of your hair, it all permanently remained in his mind. When he took Kourtney to his bed that night, fucking her was hard to focus on, which wasn’t an issue with all of the women he’s had in the past. Fact is, the dashing playboy became desired not just for his handsome looks and soothing voice, the rumors that spiraled from one woman to the next built his reputation of how talented he was in bed. By morning, each woman lucky enough to be plunged by the Asian Casanova became a pool of a submitted mess as they became dazed and begging for more, in which he gladly obliged, all thanks to his high stamina, yet after weeks, perhaps even months, he left a trail of broken hearts as he expressed his lack of enthusiasm with whatever beauty he had been courting at the time.
Somehow, there was something inside that gave a sense, that when it comes to you, things would be different. Much different. Almost as if his gut was telling him that you both were meant to be, that you were his soulmate, it was crazy, yet it only made sense to him as the voice in his head beading his mind, repeatedly chanting…
‘Take her.’

Day 30: Šamši!
Šamši was queen of the Qedarites, a group of ancient Arabian tribes who had become confederated under one leader, during the 8th century BC. Queens were not unusual among them; indeed, Šamši’s predecessor and successor were both women. Šamši’s people were vassals of the powerful Assyrian Empire, but Šamši dreamed of independence. When a number of vassal kingdoms, led by Rezin of Damascus, rebelled, she quickly joined their alliance against Assyria’s expansionist (and, they hoped, therefore distracted) king, Tiglath-Pileser III.
When the king turned his attention to the rebel Qedarites, Šamši stood and fought, but her army was staunchly defeated. The survivors, their Queen among them, attempted to retreat, but Šamši was captured and taken before Tiglath-Pileser. It may have been Šamši’s diplomacy, the king’s chivalry, or simply the realpolitik of running a burgeoning empire, but Šamši was restored, conditionally, to her throne. Her people would survive.
(Very rough day, very simple drawing)

I wrote this last year in August. I post it again because of the situation in Jerusalem over al-Aqsa. I'll always tell the truth and the truth about Masjid al-Aqsā is what I've written here.
From Mīhrāb Dāwūd to Masjid al-Aqsā: How did an Umayyad myth transform Jerusalem's Temple Mount, a Jewish holy site, into a Muslim holy site.
I. The conquest of Jerusalem
Jerusalem was conquered by Muslim forces in May 638, an accomplishment ascribed by Muslim sources to the Caliph Umar. In return for assistance in the taking of the city, the Jews received the right to reside in Jerusalem and to pray on the Temple Mount without interference. They also received permission to build a synagogue on the Temple Mount.
II. Temple Mount as the Mīhrāb Dāwud
When the Caliph 'Umar visited Jerusalem, the Patriarch of the city Sophronius accompanied him on the Temple Mount, while he searched for the Mīhrāb Dāwud (David's prayer-niche) to perform a prayer. Later Muslim commentators identified this site with the Tower of David.
What is evident here is the Jewish connection found in the early Muslim tradition which considers the Temple Mount as Mihrab Dawud (David's prayer-niche).
An early Islamic apocalyptic text, probably composed in the 8th century but attributed to the converted rabbi Ka'ab al-Ahbar (d.652), reads "Ayrusalaim which means Jerusalem and the Rock which means the Temple. I shall send you my servant Abd al-Malik who will build you and adorn you. I shall surely restore you to Bayt Al Maqdis, its first kingdom and I shall crown it with gold, silver and gems. And I shall surely send you my creatures. And I shall surely invest my throne of glory upon the rock, since I am the sovereign God, and David is the king of the Children of Israel."
The scholars of Islamic studies Crone and Cook believe that originally the Muslims truly intended to rebuild the Jewish Temple. They attempt to prove this thesis by referring to the Jewish apocalypses. For example in The Secrets of Rabbi Simon Ben Yohai, which is also the basis for al-Ahbār's text, we read "The second king [Umar] who restores the breaches of the Temple," it refers to the Muslims conquerors as "the salvation of Israel."
This Jewish link was temporary and short, however, and the separation of the site from Judaism was swift, as the Arabization and political rivalry changed the cultural and religious landscape as well as the demographics of the land of Israel.
III. Hashemite–Umayyad rivalry: the beginning of the Fitna
The Banū Umayya clan, headed by Abū Sufyān, were a largely merchant family of the Quraysh tribe centred at Mecca. They were the traditional enemies of the Banu Hāshem, another clan of Quraysh which Prophet Muhammed (570 - 632 CE) belonged to. Therefore they initially resisted Islam, not converting until 627 when they had no other choice since Muhammed triumphed over all of his enemies in Arabia and founded an Islamic kingdom. Although they subsequently became prominent administrators under Muhammad and his immediate successors, they always looked for an opportunity to retaliate against Banu Hāshem. In the first Muslim civil war known as Fitna (656–661) - the struggle for the caliphate following the murder of ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān, the third caliph (reigned 644–656) — Abū Sufyān’s son Muʿāwiyah, then governor of Levant, emerged victorious over the newly appointed caliph ʿAlī, a Hāshemite and Muhammad’s son-in-law and the fourth caliph. Muʿāwiyah then established himself as the first Umayyad caliph and made Damascus his capital.
IV. Jerusalem under Umayyads: the new rival city of Mecca, Temple Mount as the Masjid al-Aqsā
In 682 CE, fifty years after Prophet Muhammad’s death, ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Zubayr (a member of the Banu Hāshem clan) rebelled against the Umayyad dynasty and conquered Mecca. Now with a rebel dynasty based in Mecca, both sides (Hashemites and Ummayads) engaged in a struggle for control of the Muslim world. The Umayyads opted to fight the rebels by damaging Mecca's economy, which was based almost entirely on revenues from Muslim pilgrims. Their secret weapon was to create a competing pilgrimage site by building a magnificent edifice, the Dome of the Rock, on the site of the destroyed Jewish temple and hoping that this mosque would turn Jerusalem into a religious and political center which would weaken Mecca's economy by siphoning off pilgrims from Mecca. Thus, a political strategy designed to fight mutineers in far-off Mecca transformed Jerusalem's Temple Mount into a Muslim holy site with far-reaching implications to this day.
Both the Hashemties and Umayyads resorted to fabricating prophetic traditions known as Hadith (sayings attributed to Prophet Muhammed) in their favor in order to give political and religious legitimacy to their claims and their rule.
Abd al-Malik, the Umayyad Caliph, in order to legitimize the construction of the Dome of the Rock on Temple Mount in Jerusalem, connected the city and the site with the the Qur'anic verse 17:1 (below) which describes the night journey of Muhammad's Isra and Miʽraj:
“Glory to Him who caused His servant to travel by night from the Sacred Mosque to the Farthest Mosque, whose precincts We have blessed, in order to show him some of Our Signs, He is indeed the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing.”
The designation of Temple Mount as the "Farthest Mosque" mentioned in that verse was made possible by making up Hadith which links the site with the night journey to heaven (Isra and Miʽraj). The Qur'anic reference to the masjid al-aqsā, however, applies specifically to al-Ji'ranah, near Mekkah (in Saudi Arabia), where there were two sanctuaries, Masjid al-Adnai and Masjid al-Aqsā, and where Muhammad sojourned in dha al-qa'dah of the eighth year after the Hijrah.
Abd al-Malik commissioned the construction of the Dome of the Rock in the late 7th century. Al-Aqsa Mosque, the second mosque on the Temple Mount, was built in 715. The wooden structure that was built over the Foundation Stone was first intended for a synagogue, but before it was completed, the site was expropriated by the city's Arab rulers. The Jews received another site on the mount for a synagogue in compensation for the expropriated building.
In this way, the Umayyads cleverly associated Muhammad's life with Jerusalem even though the prophet died years before the city's capture by the Muslims. This construction further cemented the site's holiness to Islam, as explains the Muslim historian al Ya'qubi (d. 874) who accuses Abd al-Malik of attempting to divert the pilgrimage from Mecca to Jerusalem, thus characterizing the Umayyad Dome of the Rock as a rival to the Kaaba.
There was an active synagogue on the Temple Mount during most of the early Muslim period. Solomon ben Jeroham, a Karaite exegete who lived in Jerusalem between 940 and 960, affirmed that Jews were permitted to pray on the Temple Mount, noting that "the courtyards of the Temple were turned over to them and they prayed there [on the Temple Mount] for many years."
After the conquest of Jerusalem by the army of the Fatimid dynasty (969), a Temple Mount synagogue was rebuilt and used until the Jews were banished by Caliph al-Hakim in 1015. When a subsequent ruler canceled Hakim's eviction order, the Jews again returned to this synagogue on the Temple Mount and worshipped there until the conquest of Jerusalem by the Crusaders. Hebrew writings found on the internal walls of the Golden Gate are believed to have been written by Jewish pilgrims at least one thousand years ago, thus testifying once again to the continued Jewish attachment to and presence on the Temple Mount in this era. An eleventh-century document found in the geniza or storeroom of a Cairo synagogue also describes the circuit followed by the pilgrims and the prayers they recited at each of the gates.

The Fractal Knights:
The Fractal Knights chapter is made up of the geneseeds of many legions separate chapters that were nearly destroyed in a brutal campaign. The chapters' colors are dark blue, white, and black. The companies of the chapter were named in honor of the fallen chapters with the most surviving members that make up the majority of said company. Their battle cry is "Honor the fallen, and protect those yet standing." Their home is the Fortress Monastery, The Eternal Monument.
1st Company: Unity Company. (Named as such for it being made up of the best of all companies, and thus the best of all the fallen chapters, representing unity)
2nd Company: Celestial Knights Company. (The Celestial Knights were a Dark Angel Successor)
3rd Company: Wings of Dawn Company. (The Dawns Wings were a Blood Angel Successor.)
4th Company: Nova Dragons Company. (The Nova Dragons were a Salamander Successor)
5th Company: Tundra Wolves Company. (The Tundra Wolves were a Space Wolf Successor)
6th Company: The Imperial Paragons Company. (The Imperial Paragons were an Ultramarine successor)
7th Company: Iron Hammer Company. (The Iron Hammers were a Iron Hand successor)
8th Company: Storm Hawks Company. (the Storm Hawks were a Whitescar successor)
9th Company: Stellar Wardens Company (The Stellar Wardens were an Imperial Fist successor)
10th Company: Shadow Talon Company. (The Shadow Talons were a Ravenguard Successor)
Other Chapters that had fallen but only have squads named after them are ones of unknown origins, such as The Lunar Lords, The Blood Fangs, The Eternal Scholors, The Emperor's Scions, The Marauders Unbound, The Blazing Pheonix, The Dark Vigilance, The Hallowed Reapers, and many more, including the most mysterious one, The Serpants Eye.
Chapter Master: Lucifer Samael, Champion of the Dreaded Campaign, and Lord of the Shattered Remnants. Many are unsure of who's geneseed lies within him. However, many believe him to be either a son of the Lion or Sanguinius. Either way, he had proven himself time and again, earning the rank of Chapter Master. All they know is that when he led the broken chapters to victory in the final days of the dreaded campaign, his armor had been so badly damaged, its heraldry was stripped away.
Honorguard Captain: Malakbel Dolico, Furious Castellan of the Vermilion Seal. Once a champion of The Lunar Lords, one of many chapters of unknown origin, and one that had great skill in warfare. He sought to maintain the strength and honor of this new chapter so that it doesn't meet the same fate as the old, and thus he proved himself worthy of leading the Honorguard.
1st Captain: Octavius Augustanus, Unwavering Heretic Slayer of the Celestial Nexus. A survivor of The Blood Fangs chapter, a chapter of unknown origin known for strength and brutality to their enemies, and turning the ground to blood-stained mud. He fought viciously and led many in defiance against unbearable odds and was a veteran of many battles, thus leading to him becoming the captain of the chapters veterans.
2nd: Captain: Raziel Faross, Grim Liberator of the Cleansing Spire. A mostly silent warrior of the Celestial Knights, who is one of few words, only speaking when necessary, as he believes actions are most important to lead. He has shown this many times, as those of his brothers are finest at bringing death when under his command.
3rd Captain: Dominiel Norea, Vengeful Warrior of the Ebon Blade. A somber survivor of the Wings of Dawn, he seeks to avenge not just those of his brothers who fell long ago, but all of the people of the Imperium who have suffered at the hands of the enemies of Man.
4th Captain: Skatar'nev Kal, Noble Herald of the Liberated Beacon. A son of the Nova Dragons, he led the effort of evacuating civilians during the dreaded campaign. Because of him, many had survived to tell the tale of the marines that died in those gruesome battles.
5th Captain: Grimrek the Berserker, Brash Rune Carvee of the Blood-Ice Saga. The Tundra Wolves was once where his loyalty lied. He served as a Rune Priest before being granted the rank of captain in his new chapter. After the fall of the Tundra Wolves, he hunted down the bastards that brought its ruin. He had nearly died several times during that time, and even lost his arm. But not once did the enemy make him fall.
6th Captain: Octavius Evidurius, Unwavering Commander of the Besieged Brethren, once a master strategist of the Imperial Paragons, and had devised many attack plans that resulted in swift victory.
7th Captain: Aratatus Mohl, Stalwart Smith of the Platinum Crusade. A Trch Marine of the Iron Hammer chapter, he had made sure all of his brothers in battle had their warmachines ready for whatever was to come.
8th Captain: Temukh Ilkhen, Agile Tracker of the Martial Rift. He called the Storm Hawks home before it fell. After that, he joined Grimrek in the hunt of vengeance before they returned to the rest of the Fractal Knights.
9th Captain: Adrim Pertadias, somber tactician worn down by brutal defenses against enemy wretches at Adrallasha IV. Once a member of the Stellar Wardens, the defenses held out as long as they did only because of his fortifications. He had held back brutal assaults that would have broken lesser men.
10th Captain: Brakna Kurthovae, Untiring Crusader of the Emperor's Bastion. He led the scouts and vanguard of the Shadow Talons in wiping out the enemy command structure during the dreaded campaign. It was what made victory even conceivable due to his efforts in leaving the enemy uncoordinated.
Chief Librarian: Ahmyn Abathon, Sanctioned Protector of the Hallowed Revelations. A skilled Librarian, he was but a Lexicanium of the The Eternal Scholors chapter, a chapter of unknown origin that was mostly made up of psykers. When his old chapter fell, he made it his mission to preserve the secrets of all the fallen chapters so they wouldn't be forgotten.
Chief Apothecary: Vispenarr Kiresh, Relentless Son of the Martyr's Conquests. Once an Apothecary of the Blazing Pheonix Chapter, an unknown chapter with many arogant individuals. He, too, was as arogant as his brothers, once having been a proud master of the blade, until he failed to save so many during the dreaded campaign. After that, he swore to save as many as possible by becoming an Apothecary. Through his dedication, he had risen up the ranks, reaching the status he carries to this day.
Master of the forge: Corradin Thassurius, Stubborn Conquerer of the Theldrite Stronghold. He served in the Marauders Unbound, another chapter of unknown origin, but had great skill in the art of the siege. He has made great and mighty war machines, capable of crushing any defense.
Master of Sanctity: Vasseo Baalald, Malevolent Heretic Slayer of the Obsidian Cloister. Once a member of a chapter called the Emperor's Scions, a chapter of unknown origins, which was a heavily religious chapter. He was one who constantly sought to follow the tonctrines of the Emperor, as read in the Lectitio Divinitatus, and thus, it was only a matter of time before he became the master of the chaplains.
For the armor design, the majority of the body is a dark blue with a white faceplate. The shoulders and knee pads are black with white trimming on the shoulders. The helmets are blue with a white stripe. With sergeant, it's has a black helmet and white face plate, and with veterans, it is completely white. With veteran seargeants, it's black with white stripe and face plate. With lieutenants, a black stripe with white trimming and face plate, for ancients it is blue with a white stripe and face plate, and with captains it is black with a white face plate and a blue stripe with white trimming. The Aquila/Imperialis, as well as any other ornamentation worn by higher ranks, is either gold or silver. Their armor often times carries a knightly design, even often wearing red tabards and hoods over their armor.

Werner Voss - Part 1
Werner Voss - one of the fan favorites. Regrettably, at the age of 20, his life was already over, but he went out with a bang.
This article serves to give an overview of his life and remember an exceptional human who, like so many others, was caught up in a situation he had no control over and paid for it with his life.
Werner Voss was born on 13 April 1897 in Krefeld, German Empire. He came from an affluent family, his father owning a cloth dying business.
Tumblr media
Voss had two brothers and for a long time it was thought he also had two sisters. As it turned out, however, the two girls who often appear in family pictures and are rumored to have charmed Manfred von Richthofen were Voss's cousins.
In early 1914, with tensions already running high across Europe, Voss joined the Ersatz Eskadron 2 of the Westfälische Husaren-Regiment Nr. 11. When the Great War broke out a few months later, Voss was just 17 years old but immediately joined active service in November 1914. Hussars are cavalrymen, but the use of cavalry soon died out as the war shifted towards the trench warfare we all are familiar with.
Young Voss was sent to the Eastern Front where he fought during the war's first winter. In May 1915, he earned his first decoration, the Iron Cross 2nd Class, and was promoted to Unteroffizier.
Tumblr media
Not being all that enthusiastic about sitting in mud all day, Voss transferred to the Air Service. From September 1915 until February 1916 he trained as a pilot near his hometown. In March, he was posted to Kampfstaffel 20 as an observer. From then on his duty involved flying over the Verdun area, dropping bombs on enemy artillery positions and photographing the area.
After the hell of Verdun, Voss got no reprieve as he was sent to the Somme to fight off the British offensive.
After receiving his pilot badge, Voss transferred to the single-seat pilot’s training school. In November 1916, he was officially posted to the Königliche Preußische Jagdstaffel Nr. 2. Yes, the one of the famed Oswald Boelcke. Another notable member of this Jasta: Manfred von Richthofen. But by November, Boelcke was already dead and morale was low. Boelcke’s successor, Stefan Kirmair, may have chosen Voss, but it is also possible that Boelcke himself mentioned wanting Voss as both were stationed at the Verdun Front at the same time and may have come into contact there. A signed portrait of Boelcke in Voss’s possession hints that they did know each other personally. Voss shot down his first victory one day after arriving at Jasta 2, marking November 1916 as the start of an exceptional career.
Tumblr media
Most people know of the friendship between Werner Voss and Manfred von Richthofen as documented by pictures of them together visiting Voss’s family. This friendship started in Jasta Boelcke with MvR teaching Voss how things were done there. Rumored rivalry between the two talented pilots seems to be pure gossip. Both men may have humorously competed with each other for higher victory scores, but they both shared the same goals. They complimented each other in that MvR was a great leader but no exceptionally great pilot, while Voss was a great pilot but no great leader.
MvR was a guest of the Voss family in Krefeld on multiple occasions, with Richthofen also having permission to use the family's hunting lodge in the Black Forest. Even after Voss’s death, MvR kept contact with the family.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Voss stayed with Jasta 2 during the infamous Bloody April, a time which was indeed very bloody for the men of the British air service. They lost more aircrews during April 1917 than at any other time during the war. By April, Voss had 25 victories under his belt. On April 8th, he finally received the coveted Orden Pour le Mérite, Germany's highest military award. All that even before he turned 20.
Tumblr media
As he was on leave, Voss didn't actually participate all that much during Bloody April. Considering his many victories, it would be interesting to know how many more he would have gotten, had he fought during this time as well.

(I know this prompt has come and gone @wolfstarmicrofic, but you know I can't resist Prince Sirius😅)
8th: Royal
Remus wants to get as far away as possible from the man who broke his heart. Sirius will stop at nothing to track down the man who broke his heart.
(Don't worry, happy ending!)
The innkeeper looks vaguely surprised as she takes in the combination of his high quality clothes and dishevelled appearance as he enters the old-fashioned, but well-kept inn. So has the innkeepers in the previous three inns he visited, who had looked even more surprised when he had simply looked around the common room and left again.
He has a good feeling about this one, though.
The innkeeper recognizes him as someone who might have some coin on him, so she lets him pass without any questions. As he enters the common room, he immediately spots what he has been looking for. Or rather, who he has been looking for.
Like a wolf having spotted his prey, he walks across the common room to the man sitting at a table in the back, drinking a mug of ale. He stops when he’s standing right in front of the man’s table.
“You’re a hard man to track down.”
The man puts down his mug and looks up, his eyes the exact shade of amber as the ale. Eyes that he’s used to seeing filled with warmth, but that are now cold and void of any emotion. “Ever considered I did not want to be found?”
He slides the other chair back and sits down.
The man sighs when he realises he isn’t going to escape this confrontation. “What do you want, Black?”
“An explanation,” Sirius replies. “You owe me that much.”
For the first time Sirius sees emotion in Remus’ eyes, as they flare with anger. “I don’t owe you a damn thing!”
Sirius regards him calmly. “So, was that what it was all about then? When the money and the titles were gone, you decided that wasn’t what you signed up for?”
“What I ‘did not sign up for’,” Remus hisses. “Was being your dirty little secret!”
Sirius observes him for a moment as something starts to dawn on him. He takes a piece of parchment out of his pocket and throws it on the table. “I reckon that you’ve seen the proclamation?” He asks calmly.
“How could I have missed it? It was all over town.” Remus purposely doesn’t look at the parchment, where the heading of the proclamation is clearly visible:
Royal Wedding Forthcoming! Crown Prince of the House of Black announces betrothal to Lady Heloise of the House of Lestrange
“And did you read the proclamation?” Sirius asks.
“The title was already entertaining enough,” Remus sneers. “Forgive me for not wanting to learn all details about your future marital bliss.”
Sirius slides the parchment over to Remus. “Read it.” It’s not a question, it’s a command, as only someone who was born and raised a ruler can command.
Remus glares at him, but then his anger makes place for resignation as he takes the parchment, his eyes not leaving Sirius’. “So, I must drink your poisoned chalice to the last drop,” he murmurs, before he starts to read.
“It is with great joy that His Majesty the King Orion, and Her Majesty the Queen Walburga, of the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black announce that their son and heir and successor to the throne has selected a suitable bride. A long-awaited unification of the noble bloodlines of the House of Black and the House of Lestrange shall occur as Lady Heloise Lestrange shall be wed to Your Royal Highness Crown Prince Regulus Arcturus Black-”
Remus’ eyes snap up. “Wait, Regulus?”
“Regulus,” Sirius replies calmly, leaning back in his chair and crossing his arms over his chest.
“But... But... You’re the heir and successor of the House of Black! You’re the crown prince!”
“I was the crown prince,” Sirius corrects. “Those titles were stripped away from me when I told my parents I had fallen in love with a man not of noble descent, and I intended to marry him.”
Remus opens and closes his mouth, unable to find words.
“Can you imagine how foolish I felt,” Sirius continues. “Upon finding out that the man I had just given up my entire life for had left town without a word.”
“I didn’t know!” Remus exclaims. “Honest to god, I didn’t. I saw the proclamation and I assumed...” He shakes his head. “I thought you had been deceiving me.”
“I must say, I had not anticipated this turn of events,” Sirius admits. “I assumed you had heard, realised I no longer had my fortune or my titles, and was not interested in being with me without those, so decided the easiest thing to do was just to get away.”
Remus looks down at the table. “Why did you even bother to track me down?”
“Honestly?” Sirius asks. “I did not want you to get off so easy. I wanted to force you to look me in the eyes and admit it. If you were going to break my heart, you would have to do it to my face.”
“I wish you hadn’t,” Remus whispers. As Sirius arches an eyebrow, he continues. “It was easier when I could focus on how much I hated you, so I wouldn’t have to feel how much I missed you. Yes, I felt like an idiot for getting my hopes up with someone so clearly out of my league, but now I have to come to terms with being an idiot for singlehandedly ruining the best thing that could’ve ever happened to me.”
“You underestimate me.”
“I know, I should never have assumed-”
“No,” Sirius interrupts. “I mean you’re underestimating me now. Remus, I literally renounced an entire kingdom for you! Do you really think I’m going to give up that easily?”
“You... You’ll give me another chance?” Remus stares at Sirius with wide eyes, and a glimmer of hope in those eyes.
Sirius leans forward in his chair and takes Remus’ hand. “I’ve got no money, no status, no titles, no plan. Good lord, I’ve never even learned a proper profession besides being a prince! I’ve got nothing to offer but myself, if you’ll have me?”
“Always,” Remus replies instantly, squeezing Sirius’ hand as tears well up in his eyes. “Forever. You’re enough, you’ll always be enough.”

Some thoughts on the Fashion Dreamer reveal in the Feb 8th Nintendo Direct…
As a longtime Girls Mode/Style Savvy series fan, my first thought was, “Ahh, this seems really cute??” Not that it’d be a successor to the beloved fashion game franchise, but still! In lieu of a Switch-based GM/SS game, I wanna keep my mind open.
And, watching the trailer, the graphics deffo give me that vibe. The soft charrie designs, the pastel graphics… The endless fashion choices! 🥰 It seems as though it might have potential.
But two things kinda deter me? One, and that’s the odd demonstration of gameplay, in how the narrator states you’re just walking around to help out influencers…like…okay. Are these all other players? Are they players and NPCs? Do we get any back stories or?? And two, the mention of connecting online, because so far Nintendo has almost 100% tied up online play for Switch games behind the NSO paywall, which is just…nah for me, personally. 😔
So, in sum, I hope that we get a better understanding of the gameplay soon. But I also hope, more so, that if we get another GM/SS game, it holds true to everything we fans have loved previously while looking gorgeous and having fun stories to play out.
TL;DR: I rly miss Style Savvy, folks.
tagging last-known GM/SS bloggers @boutique-ribbon @alphards-asterism @razzberriezz but anyone is welcome to comment on this post with thoughts about the new game and/or thoughts about the future of GM/SS!
