Unlikely
Tumblr media
I got @heavenssexiestangel for @spnfanficpond secret Santa. I've never written for Ketch. Hope you enjoy!!
It's an unlikely pair. A hunter and a men of letters or is it after all?
Arthur Ketch x GN Reader
American hunters were equivalent to neanderthals or that's what was taught to the British men of letters. They ran in head first, guns blazing and solved everything with violence and most of the time let their emotions get the best of them. Hunters couldn't be trusted. Ketch had learnt a lot of his teachings had indeed been fasle what really made him truly renounce anything he'd ever learned was the moment he first laid eyes on you.
You were infuriating, stubborn enough to put Dean Winchester to shame and the temper on you would make Lucifer himself think twice about crossing you. The first impression Ketch managed to have of you was the fact that you possessed a marvelous right hook.
—----------
You knew what Dean and Sam both had told you. Ketch had changed when he came back from the dead, he'd ditched the old way of thinking he'd been taught but you hadn't got your lick in when he'd betrayed the boys, when he'd nearly killed them and had brain washed Mary into killing so many hunters.
Without thinking the moment you walked into the bunker and saw him standing in the library you'd shoved right past both Winchesters and did your best to knock his head clean off his shoulders. You'd at least managed to stagger him but damn him he'd simply wiped a thumb across his lip to collect the blood that you'd drawn and gave you a wicked looking grin “Well you must be Y/N. I've heard so much about you”
You'd gone for another swing but Dean had grabbed your arm “Easy killer. He's on our side now. You know I wouldn't let him be standing here if he couldn't be trusted” you hadn't taken your eyes off Ketch even as you told Dean “Fine. But if he hurts another hunter I'll kill him and make it stick”
Tumblr media
The first time you'd started to trust Ketch was when he'd gotten hurt on a hunt to protect you.
The two of you had gotten separated from Sam and Dean hunting down a werewolf pack that had all gone rogue. Ten head. You heard a noise and turned half a second too late, the claws would have dug into your stomach had Ketch not snatched you out of the way taking the blow himself. You screamed his name but had to concentrate on the threat at hand. He'd survive, you hoped.
You'd killed two wolves before San and Dean heard your screams and came running. Between the three of you the remaining pack members were quickly disposed of.
You'd ran to Ketch and found him sitting at the base of a tree holding pressure to his side “Dammit Arthur what the fuck was that?” The asshole had literally grinned at you “I believe that's the first time you've ever called me Arthur” you shook your head as your hands moved across his stomach, easily slipping under his shirt to examine the wound further “Yeah well I thought the one thing I could count on was you being self centered enough to not be a self sacrificing idiot. Guess our hunter tendencies rubbed off on you a bit?”
—--------------
If he would have to admit it, that was when he started to develop feelings for you. You kneeling next to him, arguing with Dean over the contents of a first aid kit and arguing with himself over sitting still while you tended to his injuries.
You were something he never would've expected when he'd first gotten tasked with coming to the states nor expected when he came back from the dead. A hunter who was everything he'd never known he needed.
Tumblr media
When did you start to develop feelings for Ketch despite your better judgment? Was it when he started to truly try to understand the way hunters worked? Was it when he started trying to make amends for his past? Was it when he'd gotten hurt to protect you, to protect innocent people on hunts and when he started throwing his hat in the game to fight for hunters instead of against them?
You had never meant to even develop a friendship with the man. For the longest you couldn't help but tie him in with the torture Sam had endured and the line of dead hunters that had gotten left behind. Then you started seeing signs of how Sam trusted him, how Dean trusted him and then he even earned Garth, Jody and Donna's trust.
—-------------
You were in the armory of the bunker. A variety of weapons were laid out in front of you and you were target practicing. Anything to keep your mind off the brown eyed englishman that was currently helping Sam decipher lore in the library.
You heard a low whistle and looked back to see none other than the man in question himself. You raised an eyebrow at him “What? Impressed that hunters do have some skills?” He gave you a smile that shouldn't be no where near as alluring as it was to you “You rather tend to impress me daily”
You shook your head and turned back to the targets “So it's not weird that you slept with my friends’ mother and now you're flirting with me?” He chuckled lightly and you hadn't realized he'd gotten that close to you until he said “in my defense i hadn't even met you yet”
You spun around and took a step back to put space between you “What do you want Arthur?” “One date. If you don't enjoy yourself feel free to kick my ass afterwards” you knew you should say no, say it was a bad idea but instead your mouth opened and the words “Ok. When and where?” Fell out.
Tumblr media
Eight months had passed since you agreed to go out with Ketch. Eight months since you were no longer just friends or work allies with him.
He hadn't been what you'd expected. He was capable of kindness. He listened when you spoke and wanted your opinion on things. He cared about you. When it came to a more personal aspect of your budding relationship he was more than giving, the type of man to find pleasure in giving pleasure.
You were happy.
Tumblr media
A loud bark of laughter escaped you at something Dean had said. All of you were around a bonfire on some of Donna's property. Leave it to all of you to decide that was the best course of getting together for Christmas eve.
Cabins were littered around while families with kids had taken the main house. A big breakfast was planned for morning with a gift exchange but for now about two dozen of you were just enjoying the down time together.
You were curled up in a lounge chair, laid back against Arthur's chest watching the flames flicker around. He'd even ditched his usual wear for jeans and a t-shirt under his thick jacket. You would make a hunter out of him yet. He leaned up close to your ear to whisper “You look absolutely stunning in the fire light” you shook your head but felt your cheeks warm “Still a damn flirt?”
He pressed a kiss to your cheek “Always” then pulled the blanket you had across your lap tighter around you about the time you heard your watch chime midnight “Merry Christmas darling” you turned to catch his lips in a quick kiss “I love you Arthur” he froze for a moment then a broad grin split his face “Now that's the best present I could've asked for. I love you too Y/N”

In Darkness, Light Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Hello everyone. This is my new fanfic. See tags, notes, etc :)
Arthur Ketch/Dean Winchester Masterlist
In Darkness, Light Masterlist (Coming soon)
Any Fandom AU Bingo Masterlist (Coming soon)
Rating: Explicit
Ship: Arthur Ketch/Dean
Word count: 2547
Written for: @anyfandomaubingo
Prompt: Immortal AU
Tags and Warnings: Vampire AU, Vampire Dean Winchester, Jewish Dean Winchester, Trans Dean Winchester, Vampie Arthur Ketch, Jewish Arthur Ketch, Poet Arthur Ketch, Arranged Marriage, original poetry, Eventual Pregnancy. Eventual new tags and characters will be added as they appear.
Summary: Dean Winchester lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with his Nest. It’s both a peaceful and harsh life, but he is not sure he’d want to change it. One day, his father tells him they must go to Lebanon, Kansas, to meet another vampire Nest - a famous and strangely big one. John tells him he’s been talking with their Alpha for months, because it’s the Nest his father came from, and he wants to be part of it even though Henry Winchester left him when he was still young. The agreement is for Dean, John’s oldest son, to marry the other Alpha’s son, Arthur Ketch. Vampires mate for life, and there would be no way for Dean to get out of it - not without jeopardizing the relationship between the two Nests and dooming theirs. Despite Dean and Arthur disliking each other since the very first time they meet, they must learn to trust and be loyal to each other, no matter how rocky their path is.
Beta by @spnexploration. Thank you!
Notes: Hello, hello everyone! I come with a new, shiny, long story :) I had started writing it for the @spnproshipbang, but I had to, unfortunately, drop out due to having way too frigging much on my plate. I hope to participate in the next round, if there is one. Since I had the 1st chapter ready and I'm working on the second, and I have notes for the next few chapters, I decided to start publishing the story as I write it (as I usually do). As you will see, for each chapter (or most) I wrote and will write a beginning poem. The poem is written from Arthur's POV, as he's a poet in this story. As you may also see from the tags, Arthur and Dean (as well as the rest of the characters) are vampires. I will take a lot of the lore from SPN, but I will also add my own lore, which you will eventually see. Both Art and Dean are also Jewish, because, why the fuck not? :) And Dean is Trans. I wanted to explore a lot of things with this story, and I put a lot of my favorite tropes and topics in it. Hopefully, you'll like it too.

Excerpt:
Dean observed as his father played with an old, modified Colt, one of the many trinkets they had kept from their human victims. That one had belonged to one of those stupid, reckless people who often entered their home, certain they could kill the monsters living in it. They hadn’t had one of those in a while. John Winchester touched the weapon with expert hands, tracing the intricate decorations, and sighed at it, as if it had personally offended him. For all I know, it has… They had been sitting at the dinner table in what had once been the living room of the human house they had picked as their Nest for at least half an hour. His father had still not uttered a single word. Dean knew better than to break the silence, even though it was driving him insane. He tore away his eyes from his father and looked around the room instead, tapping his fingers on the table. The blinds made so that no light came from the windows, and no one could see inside. Both things were crucial for them – the light of the sun could be extremely dangerous, and humans would kill them if they found out what they truly were. Why won’t he talk? He wondered, staring at the wall behind his father, stacked with other weapons. What did I do wrong? There was no other reason for John to ask him to talk alone if not Dean fucking something up, which he seemed to do often, lately. His leg bounced up and down as he thought about what it could be. I was careful with feeding, he mused. And I haven’t mentioned Sam in months. His little brother was a taboo subject, ever since he had left the Nest after a huge fight with their father because he wanted to go live with the humans. That had not gone well for Dean or Adam, their youngest brother.

You and Arthur have been in a relationship for two years now, not a public relationship of course, If anyone from the British Men of Letters even found out about your relationship. One of you will be terminated immediately.
But, you can't ignore how he is publically flirting with Mary Winchester.
You could feel your blood boil watching them flirt across the room. Mary trying to play it off but you can tell she was enjoying it. Ketch gives all of his corny jokes and smiles.
What does bloody Mary Winchester have that you don't?
When you said that sentence to yourself, you could hear another voice telling you all kinds of things that she has and you don't. She is a better fighter, prettier than you, and has everything you don't. I am not like her.
You didn't realize that in the middle of the meeting you had tears falling down your face, Ketch looking straight at you. Worried.
You wipe the tears off your face and walk out the door. No words were spoken to anyone. But, you could feel his eyes watching your every move.
you walk down the hallway, head down. you can't let anyone see how weak you are.
You finally reached my quarters, closed the door behind me, and immediately fell on your knees sobbing. You wish you could be as strong as that woman, maybe Ketch would actually talk to you more. Mary was a pretty woman, you cannot even deny that.
you know your self-worth, but why can't you just be her? She is so tiny, barely wears makeup, and most of all she is a strong woman.
Everything you are not.
A knock at your door breaks your train of thought, you wipe the tears that were on your face and stand behind the door. "Who is it?" your voice even sounded like you were crying.
"It's Arthur, can I come in?"
Of course, it has to be him. you take a deep breath, walk away from the door to the bed, and sit. "Yes."
Arthur opens the door slowly like he would during a hunt if he feared something might attack him. His eyes finally landed on you and he shut the door. "What is wrong my love?"
You could fill the anger in you and move throughout your body, all the frustrations you have felt today, "What's wrong? You came in here to ask me what's wrong?" you laugh, trying to hide all your anger. You have to show him Your not weak. "Nothing is wrong Ketch, why don't you go back. and talk to your American barbie girl?"
Ketch looks at you confused, "You mean Mary? My love, you got it all wrong." He made his way closer to you and you put your hand out, your eyes already stinging with more tears threatening to fall.
"Two years Ketch, We have been together two years. Two bloody years. You think nothing is wrong when you are FLIRTING WIH HER RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!" You could feel my anger was now out, and you couldn't hold it anymore.
"Y/n, love cal-" Ketch couldn't get his sentence off before you lash out once more.
"Don't tell me to calm down!" Tears were streaming down your face, your eyes looking directly at his. "Go be with her!" Ketch's face changed once you said those words.
"Why would I want to be with her? When I got everything I want with you." Ketch explained, you tried to speak once more but his hand went up basically telling you to shush, "I don't know why you are being like this. Why? Do you not trust me?"
You look down now, Of course, you trusted him. But, Mary... you don't trust her at all. You feel like she could take him away from you. Because of how different we are.
"I do trust you...But, I don't trust her." you mumbled, "She is so much more interesting than me, stronger than me, she is even bloody prettier than me." you wipe the tears that are falling down my face.
Ketch kneels in front of you, grabbing your hands gently with one hand, using the other to tilt your face to look up at him and wipe your tears, "My love. You are so much better than her. In every way. Don't let your mind tell you all of those lies. You are beautiful, You are strong. You are one of the strongest women I know. I mean, who can spar with me and take me down almost with ease?"
You giggle at his words, "I can."
Ketch smiles at me, "No need to worry about Mary Winchester. But I do apologize for flirting with her. I am trying to get her more on our side so we can end all this rubbish and return home. I didn't realize how that made you feel my love, please forgive me."
You smile at Ketch, nodding your head in the process.
"I forgive you."

Pairing: everyone platonic
Genre: Angst, bit of fluff

Warnings: n/a
A/N: Wowie, can't believe the last time I posted was Christmas! That's college life for you. Anyway, enjoy this chapter, and reach out if you have questions, suggestions, or something you want me to write! <33
Tumblr media
“Rowena, you really don’t have to worry about me. I already let Ketch know before I left that I was feeling better and I have to keep their suspicions as low as possible. Disappearing wouldn’t help my case.” I say while tidying up the witch’s living room and packing my go bag and backpack.
“I am well aware of the terminal paranoia that runs in Hunter’s DNA, dear,” she says with a chuckle, “I am also aware that gaining Hunter’s trust is hard, but maintaining it is impossible.”
I know she is looking out for me, but honestly, I was hoping for some blind optimism to balance out the anxiety. “Trust me, I remember how long it took for Ketch and Mick to trust me and actually work with me regularly. I can’t lose that, Ro.” I say turning my back on her to continue packing. I hear her shoes click on the floor and stop right behind me.
“Y/n,” she says softly, “turn around and look at me, please.” I sigh and turn to look Rowena in the eyes. She gently takes my hands in hers and continues, “I know that you are a very capable and strong Hunter. And I’m sure those boys know it too, but promise me you will call if something doesn’t feel right or even to check in every few days so I know you’re okay.”
“I promise I will either call you or Crowley if something feels off.” Rowena visibly relaxes and gives my hands a quick squeeze.
“Speaking of my son, he told me this morning before you got up that he might have found some demons who might know of a way that could keep you more hidden from other supernatural beings.” she says, pulling me into a tight hug.
“Tell him thank you from me whenever you talk with him. At least now I have something to tell Sam and Dean that you guys are working on some theories.” I shiver with nervous energy considering the thousands of possibilities of how these guys will react since I’ve been gone.
“Yes. Now you better get going, it’s a long drive back to Dubuque.” Rowena smiles and walks me to the front door after picking up my backpack for me. I sling my go-bag over my right shoulder and grab my backpack from Rowena. She gives a quick kiss on the cheek goodbye and closes her front door.
************************************************************************
The entire drive back to Dubuque I tried to do some calming breathing exercises to keep my anxiety in check, although I’m unsure that breathing exercises will be any match against warranted suspicions. Driving into the bare parking lot I park next to Baby and Ketch’s car on each side of myself.
“At least I know everyone is here and I only have to face them once.” I assure myself while taking my duffle bag out of the back of my truck along with my backpack that I sling over my right shoulder, closing the car door afterward. I take a deep breath and walk in the direction of room number 63. I called Ketch this morning after leaving Ro’s apartment to make sure they hadn’t changed hotels or rooms yet.
As I get closer to the room, I can hear the boys talking quietly inside and shuffling papers around. I take another deep breath and knock three times on the faded wooden door. I stick the door three times and take a small step back, nervously readjusting my backpack.
I hear shuffling as footsteps draw nearer to the door, they pause and forcefully open the door. Ketch stands before me with a tired smile on his face. I let out a sigh of relief and give him a hug.
“It’s so good to see you, y/n. How are you feeling?” Ketch asks, returning my hug and stepping aside for me to enter. I give a tight-lipped smile to everyone else in the room. Dean and Gabe both stare daggers while Sam is busy on his laptop on the bed furthest from the door.
“Glad to see you too, Ketch. I’m feeling much better, just trying to take it easy. Where’s Castiel and Mick?” I respond, walking inside and setting my backpack and duffle bag on the floor next to the small table. I take a seat on one of the chairs, Dean occupying the other, leaning back with his arms crossed.
Sam sighs saying, “They both went out to try and get some information.” I wait for him to elaborate more, or even for anyone to give me an update but no one speaks up. I glance around the room; no one has changed their positions since I walked in. The only movement is Sam’s keystrokes and Ketch quietly shutting and locking the door.
“What kind of information? Please tell me you guys have more of a lead than I do.” I ask, hoping to convince them to spill a little. Not just for my own safety, but if I’m going to be a part of this hunt I need to know what’s going on.
Gabriel snorts and shakes his head, “Important information that might be a lead depending on what Cas and Mick find out.” Dean says, still staring at me with either anger or distrust. Knowing him, probably a dangerous mix of both. I decide to stare back, plastering a confused look on my face trying to hide the frustration. I know exactly what they are trying to do, keeping me in the dark so they can gather information that I can only assume is against me.
Ketch stands behind me and places his hands on my shoulders. I'm sure he’s trying to calm me down and back off from this stare-down with Dean, but I’m lost as to how going along with this manipulation will benefit me.
“Yeah, I assumed that Dean. What would be helpful to know is maybe where they went, or possibly what information they’re finding to investigate a theory.” Sam’s typing stopped. I can feel everyone’s eyes on me and Dean as I wait for the dam to break on me.
Ketch’s hands tighten slightly as Dean leans forward and opens his mouth to speak when there is a loud knock at the door.
Ketch lets go of me and opens the door, the tension in the room that was mounting seems to dissipate slightly with this distraction. I look down at my lap and play with my hands, luckily the guys have all stopped watching me and are looking at the people at the door.
“Y/n! We weren’t expecting you for another hour! Are you feeling better I hope?” Mick says gently holding my biceps, as I stand to greet him. He looks at me as though he’s expecting me to pass out any second.
I chuckle at his excitement, “I’m feeling much better, haven’t passed out at all and I’ve been very careful.” “What did he mean that they weren’t expecting me for another hour?” Before I could question what he meant by not expecting me for an hour, Castiel walks into the room holding a bloody angel blade.
“What happened to you bro?” Gabe asks the angel. Castiel then glances over to me and back to his brother, his classic confused look on his face. Mick slowly lets his arms drop back to his sides. I feel my phone then begin to vibrate with an incoming call.
I pick up, “Hey Rowena! What’s up?” I ask cheerfully.
“Just checking up on you my dear, I’m sure they’re all putting you through the wringer right now.” I can tell she is worried about me, and I don’t like that the Hunters and angels are still staring at me.
“Not too bad, a bit tiring but that’s what I was expecting,” I say standing up and exiting the room. I’d rather not add more suspicions but I don’t have enough energy to talk in riddles around them. “I’m outside now, and yes they haven’t told me a thing yet.”
Rowena sighs and remains silent for a moment. “Are you doing okay with that? I know you value your friendships with Mick and Ketch the most. How are they treating you?”
“I mean, they were both very kind and excited to see me, but Mick and Ketch won’t say anything either. Castiel and Mick just got back from what Dean called getting ‘important information that might be a lead depending on what they find out’,” Rowena laughs quietly, “if I’m still on this hunt, how can I be of any use while being left in the dark?” I know I sound like a whiny child but it’s just so frustrating, plus Ro is a very good listener.
“Well, you could always try saying that to them?” I snort and shake my head at her suggestion. “It would also help put them at ease and understand if you’re acting a bit off, it’s because you were left behind and need to play catch-up in order to stay useful and not put yourself in danger on accident.”
“I guess I’m just feeling guilty about hiding what I know and what Crowley is looking into for me. I want them to trust me and to stay in this hunt, but I feel like none of them will trust me again no matter what I say or do.”
“The only thing I would tell you, my dear, is to be very guarded. Right now they all perceive you to be a threat. Don’t do or say anything that could strengthen those suspicions or you’ll be fighting an even worse uphill battle.” I wish there is more that she could tell me, it’s smart advice, it just makes me even more apprehensive about my decision to return to the case.
“Yeah, don’t worry, I'll be careful. I’ll try and call later depending on how much progress we make.”
“Alrighty, take care of those boys now.” I laugh at her comment and hang up, placing my phone back in my jeans pocket.
“Feeling guilty, huh?” I spin around with Gabriel standing a few feet away. Of course, it had to be Gabe who followed me out, couldn’t have been literally anyone else.
“So what if I am?” I challenge. I don’t think this will earn me any cooperation points with them, but maybe it will appear like I’m not hiding as big a secret. “You’re really telling me Sam and Dean don’t hold guilt about past actions?”
His whiskey eyes burned holes through mine, fists clenched at his sides almost shaking with anger. He takes a step toward me, and I take one back, fearful of what the tortured angel might do.
“I’m sure Sam and Dean have messed up plenty and are still living in the past. That doesn’t change the fact you told that witch friend of yours that you feel guilty because you’re hiding something about this hunt. Wonder what kind of super secret information you have that we won’t trust you?” He finished with a threatening head tilt, almost daring me to disagree.
Sam walks out, “You guys okay out here?”
Gabriel looks over his shoulder to look at Sam, “Oh lay off, Moose. I was checking up on your new best friend, y/n, and heard a very interesting conversation she was having with your witchy girlfriend.” Sam sighs heavily and shakes his head at Gabe's antics.
The angel turns to look at me again with fiery eyes again. I shrug at Sam and Gabe scoffs saying, “Don’t play the innocent card with Sammy here after trying to pull the confident, guilt-stricken hunter card with me.”
“You haven’t even given me two seconds to explain what we were talking about!” I interrupt what I assume was going to become another veiled threat, “She told me to update her once we got a bit more settled to make sure I’m feeling okay, and she is worried you are going to try to kill me or connect me to Asmodeus again.” I’m already in a hole with Gabe catching me airing out my dirty laundry, might as well get a shovel to make it look like I was digging a well and not my own grave.
“Fat chance!” Gabe exclaims, taking a few quick steps in my direction again. Sam must have seen the uneasiness on my face and took a few long strides and got between me and Gabriel.
He puts his hands up to block Gabe from nearing me, “How about we all go inside and talk about this with everyone? You can say your piece, y/n says hers, and we can decide what to do as a group to catch this sonofabitch faster.” Gabe stares up at Sam, and they seem to have another silent conversation. “What the hell is with these guys and reading each other’s minds?”
Gabriel huffs and saunters back to the motel door and opens it, glancing back at me behind Sam. “Ladies first,” he says with an exaggerated arm sweep toward the now open door.
I roll my eyes and brush past Sam back into the room, taking my previous seat at the small table, though I notice Dean has since taken Sam’s spot on one of the beds and Gabe has taken to standing right beside me, blocking my view to Mick and Ketch huddled around various weapons and herbs. He is also pointedly blocking the door, locking it shortly after Sam re-entered the room. I think he rolls his eyes at Gabe who rolls his eyes back. Sam walks over to his brother to take his laptop back and sit at the table across from me.
“So, Gabe,” Sam breaks the silence, causing the other men to cease their movements, “why don’t you start with why you were snooping on y/n’s phone call, and then y/n,” he states glancing at me, “you can say what you were talking about on that phone call with Rowena.” I nod and try to look around Gabriel to see Ketch or Mick, but the stubborn angel purposefully moves in front of my line of sight.
“First of all, Moose, not snooping.” I scoff, immediately regretting that choice with a warning look from Sam, “I was actually going to make sure she didn’t pass out or something since she was by herself.”
“Ever heard of privacy, wings?” I snap, another look from Sam shuts me up again.
“I am aware of that, smartass. I overheard y/n telling Rowena how guilty she feels at hiding something from us because she’s too scared we’ll see her differently and doesn’t want to tell us.” I know this guy has been around for thousands of years, but how is it possible he never actually grew up!
“I feel guilty because when I was with Rowena and Crowley I did some research cross-referencing weather patterns, crop failures, cow slaughters, the basic demon signs,” I pause, seeing how frustrated Gabriel was getting since I was speaking calmly and adding more detail. I guess he wanted me to admit I’m being sneaky because I have a huge secret.
“I noticed that there have been some of these demonic signs have been bouncing around between Manchester, Iowa, Platteville, Wisconsin, and Freeport, Illinois for the past twenty to thirty years,” I explain, taking out my computer to show the map I had drawn up with different colors for each demonic sign. I scroll through about ten maps showing different changes every other year as the Hunters and Angels crowd around me.
“While this is really impressive, y/n,” Mick states, “what does this have to do with your guilt Gabriel mentioned? You already gave Ketch a synopsis of what your research yielded.” Dean groans at Mick’s big words and strides back to the bed, flopping onto it.
I smile and continue, “While I told Ketch about my research I didn’t say what Crowley found out about these cities and why they didn’t show up in Rowena’s original spell. And he made me promise-”
“Original spell?” Gabriel asks, squinting at me.
I pause, not knowing what he’s talking about. “Yeah, the original spell. What about it?”
Dean sits up from his relaxed position and tries to stare me down for the second time today. The rest of the guys also visibly tune in to the conversation more and are eyeing Gabe and me.
“You saying Rowena’s original spell implies there were more spells she performed. I know she didn’t tell us about these spells, the Brits have never met her, Gabe and Cas don’t communicate with her regularly, so when exactly did she test out other spells?” Sam asks.
“She seriously did this spell only once with you guys?” Dean is still staring and Sam merely nods. “Ro’s losing her touch then, I asked for her to do the spell again on a smaller map to be sure it was for Dubuque and not a smaller town nearby or anything. And the spell again showed Dubuque.” Sam glances at Gabriel who is doing that stupid telepathic trash with Dean, at least it got him to quit staring at me. Technically it was only a white lie since the map wasn’t of Dubuque, but we did do the same spell again to double-check where the nephidemon is.
“Anyway,” I continue, “Crowley made me promise to not tell you guys that he has a demon with a number of connections has randomly gone off the radar for the past ten years. He wanted to see if this demon had anything to do with Asmodeus or his kid without y’all going in guns blazing and ruining a possible lead.” Everyone in the room aside from Gabriel has relaxed a bit and no longer seems to want me dead.
“So, why again do you feel guilty?” Sam pushes, “It’s not like Crowley has kept his inside demon bureaucracy crap hidden before to keep him as King.”
“Why does Sam have to always be so damn smart and read into everything. I was honestly hoping they might turn suspicions onto Crowley or this made-up demon but no, Sam has to use that Stanford brain.”
“Well, I assumed you would want to know anything I found out that had to do with anything demonic. I felt guilty that I was hiding this because this demon could end up being a big lead if Crowley can find her alive.” The tension that had built previously finally died down enough for me to breathe. Gabriel must have sensed it too and stepped away from me a bit so I can actually see Mick and Ketch by the bed closest to the door.
I’m thankful for the few minutes of silence to collect my thoughts and calm my breathing. I’ll have to remember to update Crowley and Rowena about all the lies I just said, I can’t have either of them getting shot in any cross-fire. Both have been extremely understanding and really put their lives and relationships with the Hunters on the line for me.
Unfortunately, the silence doesn’t last nearly as long as I would like when Castiel speaks up, “What should we do now?” Dean gives the angel a shrug and the rest of us glance between The Brits and Dean. Gabriel is still sulking by the door with his arms crossed, playing with some grooves in the floorboards with his feet.
“Don’t you boys have a Men of Letters Bunker back in Kansas?” Ketch questions, “Those places are filled with weapons, books, spells, anything we could think to need to start seriously going after Asmodeus or his child.”
Everyone agrees and we all pack up whatever gear we brought with us and file outside the motel door towards the parking lot. Dean goes to return their room keys as Sam loads his and his brothers’ bags into Baby, Ketch does the same with his and Mick’s bags.
“Y/n, you should probably ride with us. No offense to your truck but I doubt it would make the drive to Kansas, let alone back here.” Mick says, a bit shy while holding out his hands for my duffle bag and backpack.
“I didn’t even think about that honestly, I’m sure it’s fine to leave it here and I hate long drives alone,” I say with a smile as I hand him my gear.
Dean returns and takes the keys from Sam as they get into the front seats, and the angels climb into the back. I let out a quick sigh of relief that Gabriel chose to ride with his brother and the Winchesters, I don’t think I could handle hours being stuck in a car with him and his suspicious attitude. Ketch and Mick get into the front seats with Ketch driving and Mick sitting passenger side, leaving me to sit in the middle seat in the back so I can still talk to both of them.
”Y/n, you do realize I know when you’re lying right?” Ketch says, looking back at me with the rearview mirror.
I scrunch my nose in confusion and ask, “I know you’ve been trying to convince me I have a tell or something for years, but I doubt that based on how often I beat you in poker.”
Ketch chuckles and Mick casts a smirk my way. “That’s exactly what I’m talking about. You do have a tell and no, I will never tell you because where’s the fun in that?” I roll my eyes and lightly smack his arm, “when you said that Crowley was looking into that demon that disappeared, your tell happened. Everything else seemed truthful, but you do know the truth will come to light sooner than you want.”
It almost sounds like a warning. I really need to try to bribe Mick to tell me about my supposed tell sometime, “Whatever you are hiding, you need to be straight with us.” Mick says, fidgeting with his collar. I might have a lying tell, but Mick messing with his cufflinks or shirt collar is certainly his nervous tell.
“I appreciate what you guys are saying, and you don’t have to worry that much about me. I’ll be okay.” I look at them through the rearview mirror, hoping to portray honesty because I truly want to believe that I will be okay through this whole thing.
“Anything you’re hiding, y/n, you either need to right it, tell us, or don’t let it bite you in the ass,” Ketch says as silence fills the car aside from faint radio music. He’s one-hundred percent right and I know it, and I’m unsure which of the three options will cause the least amount of relationship setbacks and Gabriel’s level of hatred directed at me and my father.
“No, I can’t afford to relate myself to that monster. I never have been and never will be like that, I can’t let myself.”

I'm not British or into British Politics
But I have the urge to write a fanfic where Charles kills Elizabeth II (in a way where he won't get caught) and he gets killed by Ketch after he takes the throne. I'm sorry but he just annoys the shit out of me and, frankly, if he did kill the Queen, Ketch would kill him. Not to take the throne. For justice, obviously. Should I write it?

Protector or Stalker - Arthur Ketch Imagine (Supernatural)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Title: Protector or Stalker
Pairing: Arthur Ketch X Reader
Requested: by @zizzlekwum
Word Count: 717 words
Warning(s): violence
Summary: (Season 14) The Winchesters and (Y/n) meet a very familiar face while on a hunt. However, this familiar face seems to only care about one person in the trio.
Author's Note: Hey! I did a rewrite of the ending of Supernatural. It took a really long time to complete, so it would mean a lot to me if you check it out. Here’s a link! (it’s on my personal account)
-------------------------------------
If there's one thing you never do, it's describe a hunt as being straightforward or easy.
It's the best to ensure that someone is going to get hurt.
Now, I didn't say it... but Dean did.
"It's a straightforward vamp case," he said. "Find the nest and chop off the heads."
So, that was the plan.
We found out that the vamp nest was in an old barn outside of the small town. The group was pretty small... or so we thought.
Once we got in, we learned that we were very wrong.
The group managed to get the drop on us very quickly. The boys seemed to handle themselves. I had beheaded quite a few before one of them got a hold of me.
I was slammed face down on the ground. I barely heard Dean call my name as the vamp kicked my machete away as far away from me as possible. The vamp grabbed my hair, pulling my head back so my neck was on display.
"I always thought hunters had a sweeter taste than anyone else," the vamp hissed into my ear.
There was a knee on my back, holding me down. My kicking legs were useless and my arms couldn't lay any powerful blows.
I closed my eyes, preparing for the final blow.
It never came.
The body became heavy as it dropped on me. My head fell forward as his grip loosened on my hair.
"I've got you," I heard from behind me.
The body was dragged off of me and I rolled onto my back, trying to catch my breath. The fighting had stopped since I had been grabbed. I looked up at the person who had saved me.
"Ketch," I asked, still panting.
"Hello," he greeted. He reached down and helped me stand up before he tugged me into a hug. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," I said as I hesitantly hugged him back.
"How'd you get here," Dean asked, walking over to us.
I stepped back. Sam put a hand on my shoulder, silently checking on me. I nodded.
"I've been... keeping tabs on you guys since our time in the apocalypse world," Ketch explained.
"Why," Dean raised an eyebrow.
Ketch fell silent for a moment, not having a good response.
"It's (Y/n), isn't it," Sam asked with a smirk.
Ketch looked over, his mouth opening and closing but no words coming out. Then, he looked at me and still didn't have a response.
"Oh my god," I mumbled, smirking just a little.
I would be lying if I said Ketch was an ugly man. After everything had gone down with the British Men of Letters, I had shrugged off any feelings that I had. Now, after all that we had gone through in the other world, feelings had started coming back.
"Is it so bad to be protective," Ketch asked.
"Dude, you're not being protective, you're stalking," Dean replied.
"I mean... I don't mind having a guard dog," I shrugged.
Dean scrunched his face up at me and Sam looked down, trying to hide his chuckling.
"Thanks for the help, Ketch," I leaned up, kissing his cheek softly. I smiled at the blush on his face. I didn't let him speak before I left the barn, the Winchesters in tow.
"Wait, (Y/n)," we all turned around when Ketch jogged out. I raised an eyebrow. "Do you want to go to dinner... with me? Or maybe out for a drink?"
I could feel Dean rolling his eyes.
"Sure," I nodded. "There's a bar in town. We can meet there in say... an hour? And then Sam and Dean can handle this mess?"
"Umm, yeah, that sounds... that sounds great."
I turned around and headed toward the impala. Sam and Dean sat in the front while I sat in the back.
"A drink, really," Dean asked. I shrugged. "The guy was basically stalking you!"
"Rather him than a monster," I replied. Dean rolled his eyes again before starting the car.
"Ew," Dean grimaced as we drove out.
"Be safe," Sam said, throwing a smile back at me. I nodded.
Drinks with Ketch couldn't be that bad. It could actually be kind of fun. I bit my lip as I looked down, picturing how nice my night was going to be.

Arthur Ketch x Reader
Summary: Set during 13.17, The Thing (Ketch & Dean cross the rift)
Arthur Ketch plans to accompany Dean on his mission to save Jack and Mary. Though he doesn’t expect anyone to take a personal interest in his well-being, he’s in for a surprise when a friend of the Winchesters, Y/N, shows him genuine concern and dare he say... care?
Ketch. Deserves. Love.
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️
It was decided. Dean Winchester and Arthur Ketch would cross the rift to save Jack and Mary. Sam and Y/N on the other hand would stay behind in case of any curveballs.
“I’ve got Cas and Row on speed dial if anything goes sideways, alright? Just don’t do anything too crazy, or else I’ll totally kill you when you get back,” Y/N said, hugging Dean tightly.
They parted and he clicked his tongue with a smile. “Sure thing kid. Keep the pie warm in the oven for me, yeah?”
“You know it.”
With a final wave, Dean stepped aside to say his goodbyes to Sam.
As the Winchesters embraced, Y/N noticed Ketch standing in the corner of the room. His stance was rigid and it was clear he felt like an outsider to the bunker’s warmth and friendship. As Y/N watched, Ketch caught her eye and nodded in her direction. With a flinch, she turned away and cleared her throat.
Though she would never admit it, Y/N couldn’t help but feel a spark whenever Ketch was in the room. Yes, he had questionable morals, but there was an undeniable charm to him as well. Beneath his coarse exterior, Y/N recognized a goodness that Sam and Dean refused to acknowledge.
At the end of the day, Ketch was only human. A man haunted by his past, seeking redemption. She of all people could understand that.
Taking a deep breath, Y/N approached him. When he saw her coming, he straightened defensively and turned up his chin.
“Miss L/N,” he said politely, nodding at her once more.
“Hey Ketch. I just wanted to say-”
He held out a hand and sighed. “Please, let me spare you the preambles.” Ketch cleared his throat and adjusted his collar nonchalantly. “I am to bring your beloved Winchester home in one piece lest I wish you to hunt me to the ends of the earth and slaughter me through the most graphic means possible. Is that right?”
Y/N blinked. “Actually, I was going to give you this.” Reaching into her duffle-bag, she grabbed a canteen and handed it to Ketch. “I thought you might need it. Wouldn’t want you getting dehydrated out there...” she trailed off, rubbing the back of her neck awkwardly.
He looked down at the offering and frowned in quiet surprise. “Ah yes, of course. Forgive me, you American hunters have always been a colourful bunch.”
“Arthur?”
He turned up at the use of his first name. No one ever bothered using it. He was only ever Ketch- a weapon, never an individual.
“Yes Y/N?”
“I know we haven’t always been on the same page.” She stared at the zipper of his vest as she spoke, afraid she’d lose her cool completely if she met his gaze.
“Come on now, I’m no basilisk.” Y/N looked up and saw a slight smile tugging at Ketch’s lips. “You can look at me.”
“Right,” she said, her cheeks warming. “I just wanted to say, be careful. Watch out for yourself and make it home in one piece.” Her words came out in a rush and she winced at her incoherency.
“The bunker isn’t my home,” Ketch sniffed. “This is only just a chapter house where I happen to be freelancing. The brothers Winchester can attest to that.” He was perplexed by Y/N’s apparent concern and couldn’t understand her kindness. Surely it was a trick of some sort... she couldn’t possibly care for him, could she?
Y/N smiled sympathetically and placed a hand on his chest. “It could be. A home, that is.”
Ketch stiffened at her touch, but made no move to pull away. “Thank you for your consideration, Miss L/N,” he said uncertainly.
Y/N looked up at him and smiled. Lifting her hand to his cheek, she whispered “stay safe out there,” before walking away.
For a moment Ketch stood still, caught in a trance. It wasn’t until Dean yelled to him from across the room that he was struck back to reality. “Hey Ketch, what are you waiting for? I’m not about to hold your hand the whole way, so get moving!”
The former British Man of Letters quickly composed himself and waltzed towards the ill-tempered Winchester. “The whole way? Why Dean, are you suggesting we walk into the new world arm in arm? How very chivalrous of you.”
“Shut up. Sam, tell him to shut up.” With a final look of annoyance, Dean crossed the rift.
Ketch rolled his eyes before looking over his shoulder one last time. He saw Y/N send him a small wave and a subtle wink before turning away to talk to Sam. Ketch touched his cheek and smiled. He could still feel the ghost of Y/N’s touch upon his skin. With a renewed sense of purpose, Ketch stepped into the rift. For once in his life, he had something meaningful to come home to.

Might I suggest Something Borrowed?
I know... he’s an iffy character and has caused the Winchesters grief... but like, he’s also so cool??? I mean, he has a motorcycle!!! Brownie points for you Ketch!!!

Behind the Mask - Rowena MacLeod x Gabriel
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Set during Raising Hell Season 15.
Summary: Why did Ketch and Rowena fall for each other? What caused these feelings? Looks? Personality? Or maybe it is to do with a certain Archangel.
Ketch watched Rowena. His eyes are filled with desire. He knew Rowena in the past his people held her prisoner. He let her go when she did the spell on him that thankfully worked otherwise he wouldn't be standing here today. He had no feelings for her then. She is a witch why would Arthur Ketch an assassin, a former Men of Letters fall for a witch?
That was a question he couldn't answer.
The British Men of Letters would forbid him to be in a romantic relationship with anyone who is part of the supernatural community and that included witches. He didn't want to interact with them, he would torture them, kill them. If he was still a member Rowena would have been dead by now. Unless if he wanted her for more spells.
He saw Rowena when he came through the rift. They both looked at each other but there was no attraction between them. Ketch felt nothing for her. When he went to London he wasn't thinking about her. She didn't cross his mind. He wasn't thinking about her long red hair, her eyes, her lips that he wanted to kiss so badly...
He shakes his head and let out a soft groan. It's only today he started having these feelings towards her. All he can think about is sex. He just wanted to strip down to nothing, then remove her clothes, pin her against the wall, kiss her every part of her and fuck her. He wanted to fuck her in this room right here right now.
He looks at the witch mixing her ingredients helping the Winchesters yet again save the world. If Jack the Ripper and his pals are not out there causing havoc Ketch could be screwing the witch right now.
Why did God have to release the damm souls.
"Feeling hot Mr Ketch." Rowena purred.
Ketch raises his eyebrow.
"Pardon?"
"You are turning pink."
"I am?"
Ketch had to admit he is sweating. Maybe he has a fever. This could be a temperature. A fever could affect a person's behavior. Maybe its making him express these feelings for her.
No. Ketch had to be real on this. It's not a fever. This is a crush. He had a crush on Rowena.
He feels something hot hit his face. He looks down.
Oh crap Rowena is standing in front of him. Inches away from his face.
Rowena leans on his chest and her eyes look all over going from head to toe.
Her eyes are filled with desire. She knew Ketch in the past she was captured by his people and he made a deal with her. She gave him what he wanted and he let her escape. She had no feelings for him then. The day he came through the rift she felt nothing for him. She will admit he is handsome, his accent is sexy but why now? Why does Rowena fall for him now?
Her and Charlie have spoken about him on their road trip but Rowena wasn't like a school girl having a crush on a boy when she talked about him. Today however she is like a school girl having a crush on a boy.
Rowena wanted to kiss him, run her hands all over his body and fuck him right here right now. If Rowena didn't have a job to do she could be screwing the Englishman right now.
Why did God have to release the damm souls.
Rowena also had a wave of déjà vu. She had these feelings before. These sexual urges. She finds herself in a familiar situation.
Gabriel.
Yes that's right she had these feelings for Gabriel. It seemed Mr Ketch had the same effect on her.
How strange.
Both sides felt attracted to each other. Both did not know why. It was random, sudden. Is love at first sight real after all?
Rowena makes the first move. She leans forward her lips close to his. He to leans forward wanting a taste of her ruby-red lips. Then his eyes turn a shade of white and blue. Rowena notices and gasps. She backs away and her eyes go wide with shock.
"Relax." Ketch's voice sounded American, less posh. He grins. "Its me."
"Me who? Who the Hell are you? where's Arthur?"
Rowena's eyes turn purple. The intruder in Ketch's body raises his hand.
"Archangel."
"Which one?" Please not Lucifer. Please not Michael.
"There is only one who can turn you on." He winked.
Rowena furrowed her eyebrows. Then her eyes widen and her mouth drops open.
"Gabriel."
His grin widens.
"Bingo."
"How? The Winchesters told me you were dead."
"That's what I wanted everyone to believe. You see before we went back to the rift me and Ketch made a deal. I feel like I owed him after he saved my life. If he was in any danger and close to getting killed I can possess him. He gave me his consent."
"He said yes to you."
"Yeah. I became the boost he has been looking for since he came back to life."
"Michael killed you so how did..."
"I'm just getting to that part. When I fought Michael, I had a back up plan so when Michael stabbed me I managed to get out of my vessel, go through the rift and possess Ketch."
"Did Arthur know?"
"No."
"You never told him?"
"I couldn't. I was low on power I was weak I needed to recharge. If I said I was alive Michael would have killed both of us."
"All this time you been alive in Ketch. Gabriel you could have helped us stop Michael. God..."
"I know." Gabriel sighed. "I know. I didn't want to get into anymore fights I wanted a break. For years I been under Asmodeus going through literally Hell. When I possessed Ketch I wanted to get away from it all. When he announced he was going to London I went with him. I had faith in the Winchesters they would save the world." He smiles as he looks round. "They are doing it again. The Winchesters don't need my help."
"Did the trip away to London help?"
"It did. Ketch is not the most exciting person to be with but it was fun playing with his toys. The British Men of Letters had some pretty cool stuff. During my time in London I did miss one thing."
"What's that?"
"You." Gabriel looks at her straight in the eye. "I missed you Rowena."
Rowena's cheeks turn a shade of pink.
"You did?"
The witch suddenly gets pulled in. Gabriel wraps his arms around her.
"Yes. All I thought about was round two."
"Round two?" Gabriel's lips tug upwards into a smirk. Rowena let out an oh. "Round two." She puts her hand down his pants and wraps her fingers around his stiff cock. A groan escapes his lips. Rowena smiles. "That explains why I felt drawn to Arthur. It was actually you I was drawn to."
"Hmm. Seems Ketch felt what I was feeling. Poor guy he was so confused."
Both chuckle and suddenly they lock lips. Gabriel holds her by her ass and Rowena grips his neck while her other hand remained on his cock.
"British suits you." She purrs in his ear.
"Really?"
Rowena lies down on the table. Gabriel climbs on top of the table and hovers over her. He kisses her and bites her lip causing her to groan.
"Aye." She responded with another groan.
Gabriel lifts her top and starts sucking on her nipples.
"I'll admit living as an Englishman it was interesting." The archangel admitted. "You can't beat an American bad boy."
"You are hot either way."
Gabriel sits up.
"Yeah but it's not gonna work it's not fair on Ketch I should look for another vessel."
"Now?"
The archangel sadly nods. Rowena pouts and sits up. Gabriel gets off the table.
"We can pick up where we left off." He grinned.
Rowena beamed.
"I would love that. Oh and Gabriel."
"Hmm?"
"I missed you too."
Gabriel smiles at her.
"I hope to see you soon."
His head goes back and grace pours out of his mouth. It swirls and swirls and flies of the window.
Ketch gasps and stumbles back against the wall. Memories start pouring in from the time Gabriel possessed Ketch to the conversation between Gabriel and Rowena.
"Gabriel possessed me." He says. The Englishman laughs he didn't look angry at all he looked relieved. "The feelings...now it makes so much sense."
The desire from Rowena's eyes fade. She huffed and got back to work having no interest in him now.
Ketch's eyes widen.
"That explains why I developed an interest in porn!"
Rowena coughs holding in the laughter that wanted to come out. The embarrassment on his face causes her to burst out laughing.
"It's not funny." He growled at her.
"No it's not." Rowena grins. "Its hilarious."
She laughs again. His face goes from pink to red.
Ketch made a mental note to himself to burn all the porn magazines and movies when he goes back to London.
If the world is ending he didn't want to die and be remembered as a porn fanatic.
Hell no.
The End
