Request a drabble using this prompt list!
After his ceremony, a banquet is held in his honor, as well as the two that ascended alongside him.
Though he was encouraged to enjoy himself, he remains seated on his table, anxious hands holding onto a piece of paper delicately placed on his lap.
His glassy eyes clung onto every word of the letter, a lifeline he had been holding onto for almost two years now.
"Cheren,"
Cress, recently retired, approaches him with a gentle smile.
"Do you want to dance?"
He takes a moment to ponder- the Striaton triplets had been nothing but kind to him, despite his failures.
With a stiff nod, he rises from his seat, folding the letter and tucking it into the pocket of his blazer.
He takes Cress' hand and is led to the center of the ballroom- from the corner of his eye, Grimsley's worried gaze settles into him, only for Alder to pat his back, reassuring him of his brother's safety.
As Cress guides him, Cheren sees the thousands of eyes watching them, the curious and inquisitive minds- and the hands that wished to dig deep into his skin, to pry it apart and see nothing but half a heart nestled between his ribs.
The rest of the Elite Four and its retiring champion watched them with pride in their eyes, chatting amongst themselves.
Iris and Benga bicker for a moment before Alder pushes both children to join with a laugh.
Burgh waves and smiles- and quickly offers a dance to Emmet by his side, eager to join his student on the dancefloor.
Elesa laughs, covering her mouth with her hand as Skyla rolls her eyes and Ingo makes a snide remark, one he could not hear.
Back turned away from the performance, Dr. Colress takes a sip of wine by the balcony, someone approaches him, offering their hand, and he stares- only for Grimsley to interrupt the conversation and whisk the good doctor away.
He follows the path laid before him effortlessly. He always has.
Until he missteps- and Cress corrects his mistake, catching him by the waist just as he's about to hit the floor.
The crowd cheers- and within the crowd, Cheren could imagine a head of brown hair, a pair of earnest eyes, and blue flames surrounding white wings.
Dizzy eyes try to keep Cress in his mind- but the more he stares, the more they danced, the modern ballroom melts into the golden castle that erupted from the depths of the earth.
The audience- the league, their guests, the media, all were but a blur, faces concealed by light blue hoods and robes of white.
"Cheren?"
Cheri!
"Look at me."
Look at me!
He looks- and rather than Cress, the eldest of the Striaton Trio, all he sees is Hilbert, the runaway champion, Reshiram's chosen hero, and his savior.
But at the thought of the latter, something bubbles in his throat- and he doesn't know what it is.
"You-"
And suddenly, as Cress pulls him up, he's in the coffin again.
"Cheren?"
He's underneath the glass, blue and pink mist swirling inside- the air is intoxicating, and his tongue tastes of rotten apples.
"Cheren, hey,"
A closed fist punches against the glass- but the more they do, the more frost grows to conceal him from the world, enveloping him in a world of icy cold.
"Cheren-"
As Cress places his palms on his cheek, Cheren grabs his wrist.
"You never-"
Underneath the icy glass, his hero runs away to seek the truth, in denial of the reality before him.
"You never came to set me free."
"Cheren?"
Cheren puts Cress' hand down, meets his eyes,
and the image of Hilbert's smile disappears from his sight.
"I'm sorry," He whispers. "I can't."
Without another word, Cheren makes a run out of the ballroom, lowering his eyes as to not see his face amongst the visitors.

Yes! Tomorrow is Friday!! Finally...hm what do you both do after school?

You were walking with Jennifer to your last class of the day. All she was talking about was Marty..wow, really?
"He's just so cute! His eyes! His hair!! Oh my...hes a dream boy!!" Jennifer said smiling and clapping her hands.
"yeah, so um what are you going to get for lunch?"
"Hm I don't know, oh I have to tell you. After school I have to pack because I'm going to be leaving for vacation with my family." Jennifer said and looked at you.
"Wow, not even here for friday." You said and looked at her.
"Yeah I know, I was trying to tell my parents to at least let me stay for tomorrow. I want to tell Marty that I will miss him." Jennifer said and smiled.
"oh." You said.
Sure, when Jennifer has a crush on someone she will put them first, but she would never forget about you. Plus, does Marty like her? No.
"Well I'm heading to math class. Bye!" Jennifer said and gave you a quick hug and ran to math.
"Bye..." you said, you were alone in the hallway.
"You okay?" A shaky voice said, oh Marty.
"Yes, Jennifer is just leaving for vacation today after school."
"Finally, that girl needs to leave me alone. It's not that she's talking my ears off, well our eyes off, she is just clingy..and I dot like her..sorry if that sounded rude but uhh it's true." Marty said and licked his bottom lip.
"Right.."
"hey want to hang out with me after school?" Marty said and smiled.
"Sure why not?"
AFTER SCHOOL:
You and Jennifer both said bye because her dad was picking her up and you guys usually walk together or go do something. Marty came behind you and grabbed your shoulders which made you jump.
"huh!?"
"Ha! I got you!" Marty said and stood beside you licking his lips.
"So, what are we going to do?"
"Oh, I got an idea!" Marty said and grabbed your hand while his skateboard was in his armpit.
"Woah Marty!"
"Ha!"
DOCS PLACE:
"Doc, I got someone I'd like you to meet." Marty said
A goofy guy with white hair and wrinkles came out with goggles on..
"Hello, I'm doctor Emmet brown. Nice to meet you." Doc said
"oh uh Hi." You shook his hand.
"So your Marty's girlfriend?" Doc said taking off the goggles, smirking.
Both you and Marty blushed and started sweating.
"oh, uh, no..Doc. it's not like that.." Marty said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Yeah.."
"Ill be the judge of that. I can see it now, both of you guys dating, but of you guys getting married, you guys starting a family, and then living with each other till the end!" Doc said smiling looking up.
"Okay.."
"Marty, if you do date her..he nice to her." Doc said looking at Marty.
"Doc!" Marty said which made Doc jump.
"Sorry! So, what brings you both here?" Doc said.
"I wanted Y/N to meet you!" Marty said putting an arm around you, leaning into you, smiling.
Something about that made you have butterflies, why?
"Marty. Stop trying to look cool." You said smiling and looking at him.
You turned his head, realizing how close he was to you. He licked his lips and nodded and turned his attention to Doc. You looked at his lips and looked at the ground.
Marty then, once again, turned his head towards you and you did the same. Next moment you guys now is your both leaving in to kiss each other.. when you guys were about to touch lips doc takes a picture which makes you both jump.
"Doc...what was that...?" Marty said backing away from you.
Jeez, almost your first kiss and Doc ruined it..

BALDUR'S GATE 3 PROMPTS | ACCEPTING
𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙳𝚘𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛 doesn't usually run into someone else twice. When the TARDIS landed, The Doctor's crew thought HILL VALLEY in the year 2015 was a tad bit boring until they stepped out to see the city and streets. Enraptured by the flying cars and the digital holographics, the crew wandered around for a shopping trip. With Stella wandering around with Lennox and Niko, she'd be sure to keep them in check when avoiding potential paradoxical situations. The Doctor, meanwhile, wanted to wander around quietly and examine this timeline herself. She wondered what had prompted such an extreme advancement in Earth's culture, but that thought stopped when she saw something familiar. Parked parallelly, overlooking the courthouse—
"The DeLorean?" The Doctor mused quietly, approaching it and stepping around it. Examining it softly, she leaned in when she reached the back of the car. "It is!" She cried out suddenly, examining the engine's newest addition: It appeared to be The Mr. Fusion addition, meaning that the DeLorean must be running on— "Yes, yes... Household waste is converted to electrical power! Simply genius! Genius!" She mumbled quietly before whipping her eyes to see the gullwing door of the time machine's driver side open. She stepped out from behind the car, pointing and shouting out to grab his attention.
"Doctor Brown! Welcome to the wild side—" Her greeting stopped, as she blinked. "Heheh!? My friend! What're you wearing!?" She approached regardless, waiting until he was coherent enough towards his surroundings to shake her head. After which, the two scientists talked quickly. The Doctor explained what she was doing here, and almost without any hesitation explained that she felt as if something was drawing her toward this time. She explains that as a seasoned time traveler, Emmet may grow a faint ability to identify other time travelers. The Doctor implies that for herself— this is biological, and for Emmet, it may be down to experience. She explains that she believes she was drawn towards his presence here— and the two talk. "My dear fellow, what is it you're doing here?"
The headline shown to the elder woman causes great intrigue, "Youth jailed, hm?" She examines, and Emmet watches her put on reading glasses, after which she promptly chuckles. "Heh! Look at that! Marty McFly Junior... the resemblance he bears! What are the chances of that? Hm?" Certainly slim, but not impossible. The Doctor then begins to put the pieces together, all on her own. "You're not thinking of bringing Martin here!? Are you?" The Doctor begins to pace softly back and forth, not unlike the good Doctor himself. "The DeLorean, from my knowledge— well, well, it's— yes... maybe if we modified its shielding against the time winds— But I would need to see the engine's components now, wouldn't I?" She spins on her heel. Doctor Brown throws a comment at her that almost stunlocks the elder.

The Elder Woman blushes. She grins slightly, her eyes narrowing. "Now, now... are you trying to flirt with me~?" She teases slightly, her hands on her lapels and her voice barely above a whisper, before she moves to change the subject. "Listen carefully, if we work quickly... we can modify The DeLorean's temporal shielding." The Doctor advises, "The time stream usually can't handle two people being in the same time and place for more than a moment, even if they aren't directly encountering each other!" She explains before her thumb taps her lapel. She moves past him, sitting in the driver's seat of the DeLorean almost by instinct. When she realizes what she does, she giggles like a fanatic schoolgirl. She looks up toward Emmet and rests her hand on the steering wheel, while her other lay against her lap.
"Would you mind~?" She waits for his permission, before looking back at the time circuit controls. "If we modify the DeLorean to desynchronize Martin from the timeline as you pass into 2015, then he technically won't register to the universe that he's present here!" She then turns sharply, "But it'll be temporary, Emmet! You'll have to get this business over with as quickly as possible! If Marty resynchronizes with the time stream while he's here— you'll blow a hole in the universe the size of—" The Doctor huffs, "Well— The Universe!"
"Under no circumstances can he encounter his future self! It'll increase his chances of resynchronizing!"

(The Zi-o Campaign)
(I mentioned this in another post a while back, but I was thinking about the Zi-o Rewrite Campaign.
In my version of Zi-o, we had done away with the whole demon king angle. Instead, Zi-o, Geiz, Tsukuyomi, Woz and a fifth rider, Thirteen, were time cops, working to keep the Timejackers from altering the history of the Kamen Riders.
The major differences in the characters were as follows.
Zi-o: Tokiwa Sougo is a temporal echo. There were other Zi-o's on the Time Protection Bureau before him, including several alternates. This particular Sougo was pulled from time just before he would have died as a result of the a battle between the Gokaigers and one of Basco's mechs.
Geiz: A remnant of a war in the future, where Earth's forces are thinned out by the alien army, and thus they use a "Revive" system to clone fallen soldiers. Geiz was on his fourth such "life" when he was recruited.
Tsukuyomi: Amnesiac, running from a destructive force. She was later revealed to be the daughter of Tsukasa and Natsumi, and the amnesia was her choice to keep her father's home dimension safe from the Timejackers.
Woz: The future descendant of Doctor Emmet Brown. The First Woz was the tech guy for the Bureau, and the one who designed all the Ridewatches. White Woz, however, was an echo from a timeline where the Bureau fell during an assault by Another Ryuki Riders.
Thirteen: Leo Riske, Grandson of Nogami Ryoutarou and a hero known as Setback, one of the unluckiest men alive.
During their adventures in time the team stopped the Timejackers from:
Destroying the ferry from Agito
Monetizing the Rider War(An event that also led to a major shift in the Gaim timeline and caused Hojo Emu to retire from medicine in the Ex-aid timeline)
Using Orphnochs as the sacrifice for the White Wizard's Second Sabbat
Giving Clock Up technology to Banno
Using the Rouse Cards as prisons for the Legendary Riders
They also had to fight Another versions of various other heroes, including Kamen Riders Gai, Vulcan, and Rogue; Gokaisilver and Dekamaster were also anothered.
In the second half of the story, the Timejackers successfully infiltrated the timebase, and sent the team back in time, forcing them to deal with anothered Dinosaur Sentai and their mecha.
It was in this time that the team learned the true identities of two other members of their organization.
G Den-o was revealed to be Kaoru Ichijou.
And their commanding officer, Commander Yusa, was revealed to be Sakurai Yuuto.
During the second half of the story, the Riders had to work with a bunch of other Toei heroes, with the main allies being the Go-busters and the Happiness Charge Pretty Cure.
In the end, they learned why Schwartz was trying to alter Rider history. He had been chosen to be the one to bring an end to the Rider War. However, his fate was to be an unsung hero. Nobody would know his name, nobody would even know that he was involved. His ego couldn't take that kind of rejection and he lashed out against all Riders in time.
The campaign ended with Sougo becoming the apprentice to Sailor Pluto, Tsukuyomi following in her father's footsteps by traveling the worlds in a curio shop, alongside her girlfriend, an Orphnoch/Ringed Wizard calling herself Warlock. Geiz' future war never happened, leaving him as the sole survivor of a non-existent event, and Woz kept designing gear for Riders.
The one time Ohma Zi-o showed up, Geiz defeated him, saying "You might be Zi-o, but there is only one Tokiwa Sougo!"

Friends to Lovers is a pretty safe one for them. I think if there were a Selene and Kai AU, you could put Enemies to Lovers, Enemies AND Lovers, or my favourite, Lovers TO Enemies. Ah, the angst potential.
I have written AU Kaider before in Exit the Stage; Kindle the Blaze.
I have other ideas for Au's, ones I will write and ones I won't. One I will probably never write but have mapped out is a Back to the Future AU. Cinder is Marty, Kai is Jennifer and Dr. Erland is Doctor Emmet Brown. I want to include all three movies, hence why it's too long for me to have time to write.
