You could practically feel the stare; sure enough, as you turned your head towards your partner, he was looking at you as if he had never seen you before.

You straightened up, stretching after being bent over the potato garden for hours. The snow was lightly melting, and you knew that Technoblade enjoyed the moments of sunshine that broke the monotony of snowy tundra.

Collecting the harvested potatoes, you still could feel Techno watching you.

“It’s impolite to stare you know.”

“Art is meant to be looked at.”

Slightly scoffing at the complimentary pickup line, you threw a clump of dirt at your partner. “That was cheesy and you know it.”

Technoblade smiled, getting up and walking over to you. When he reached your side, he held your face in his hands, his thumbs gently running over your cheeks. “Maybe, but you are absolutely gorgeous.”

Technoblade placed a kiss on your forehead before turning and taking his basket of seedling potatoes back towards the house. Collecting up your materials as well, you followed his footsteps.

Just as you were coming around the corner, however, you saw Technoblade standing, his sword drawn. Hearing your footsteps as you approached he held his hand out, warning you to stay back, but you were not so easily wavered. Looking over Techno’s shoulder, you saw what the threat was:

your ex.

More specifically, DreamXD. You two had once had an on again, off again type of relationship, mostly full of grand gifts and excessive flirting on your ex’s part. Eventually you got tired of it and moved on, and later you were rewarded with the love of your life.

But DreamXD was a jealous god, and he had a hard time letting you go. He used to try to win you back, swinging wildly between lavish gifts and intense threats. You knew at the end of the day, however, that he would never lay a hand on you. You both were wise enough to know that no one ever won in a war between gods.

Eventually, you did tire of the constant unwelcome attention, so you moved into the mortal realm. And that was how you met Technoblade and eventually fell in love.

But now DreamXD was here again, determined to ruin the peace. Rolling your eyes, you walked by Techno, arms crossing over your chest as you stopped in front of DreamXD.

“Y/n.” His voice was smooth and echoey this time, the one he used when he wanted to fit in with mortals.

“DreamXD. What are you doing here?”

The god titled his head, playing up innocence. “It’s been a while Y/n, can’t I come see you?”

Scoffing, you shook your head in return. “We both know you don’t just ‘come to see’ people. Please don’t tell me you want me to come back to you again.”

DreamXD paused a moment, considering your words. “You really don’t miss what we had, what we were?”

“No. No DreamXD, I don’t miss you.”

He didn’t respond; he simply stood there and stared at you. He shifted his gaze behind you, looking at Technoblade.

“You fell in love with a mortal.”

You felt Technoblade get closer to you, his sword still drawn in case you needed protection. You smiled despite yourself, trying to appear as neutral as possible. “I did.”

DreamXD nodded again, but he seemed distant, like he was thinking about something entirely different. “These mortals, they do have a strange charm to them, do they not.”

Just as he said those words, a figure came crashing through the tree line. Clad in blue with large, white-rimmed glasses, they approached DreamXD casually.

“Where have you been? You said you were going to help me?” The crisp accent came through, the person impatiently looking at the god.

You watched as DreamXD’s entire body language changed, his attention solely on this one person. You saw him become possessive and obsessive, and you recognized that this must be the “strange charm” DreamXD had just been talking about.

The newcomer started walking away, and DreamXD followed after. Looking back one last time, he nodded, a sign of farewell to you. As the pair disappeared into the distance, you took a deep breath and turned to look at your partner. Wrapping your arms around his neck, Technoblade pulled you in close, touching your foreheads together.

“What the heck was that Y/n?”

“Oh, that was my ex, sorry about that.”

Technoblade blinked a couple times, trying to process this information. “The god of this server is your ex???”

You pressed a kiss to his lips before letting go and walking back to the house, grabbing the potatoes you had previously abandoned. “Don’t worry, he’s just an ex, that’s all.”

“Heh?????”

XD always knew you were the affection kind, you were with everyone. Holding hands, touching shoulders, sitting a little too close. That's just the person you were, and XD didn't mind at all, it was rare for him to find a human so interesting, so he payed no mind to your affections.

At least, at first.

But as interest turned to a sort of friendship, or as close to friendship you can get with a benevolent God, there was a feeling that just irked him. He hasn't realized these feelings at all until a late night of reading. Usually your interactions were short and fleeting, though always meaningful to him. You were the popular sort and always had some sort if errand or plan for the day. So when he discovered you had a free day, he leapt st the chance. Time means little to a God, and he had hardly realized how late it had gotten until he heard a soft snoring. You had leant against him hours ago, reading over his shoulder at an enchanted book he was scribbling in. The noise caught him off gaurd, startling compared to the comfortable silence you had bathed in before, but sure enough you had fallen asleep, holding his arm in your own, your brows slightly knitted as you slumbered. That's when it started. The image of the peaceful bliss across your face struck a chord that rung like church bells in his head.

Ballads and soliloqoues he had once mocked clicked into place and his notes soon became drafts of poetry and confessions to the rhythm of your breathing. Your breathing that he matched matched even pace, his and never stopping, his eyes torn between you and his papers never settling at one for long before being drawn back to you like a moth to a flame. Fire. Warmed him to his core, made his face heat in a way he couldn't explain and his mouth turn dry, you were fire and you melted him. Turned the sand his castle of solitude stood on to glass, for all to see his madness for you.

Things between you and him were never quite the same, gentle brushes made the hair on his neck stand up. Your laughter had him memorized and the way you spoke his name, God's above had no mercy for him, and dare he say he enjoyed the punishment bestowed upon him. If you had noticed you had said nothing, and for months you two continued on.

But he couldn't anymore. He couldn't sit and smile and laugh when you weren't in his arms, when he couldn't kiss every inch of your skin. Map your skin with sinful hands that he hopes your divinity will cleanse. Gods aren't meant to feel, gods aren't meant to bend and snap under the gaze of a human, or follow them around like a lost puppy. But he did, and his pride had no qualms with bending to your every will and desire, servicing you was all he could ever ask for.

Love had never touched XD like this until now, and he had no idea what he was doing. But fuck, as long as you were with him, lovers or not, he'd be as pleased as any God could be. Once an insatiable greed now filled and over flowing with satisfaction by only the interlocking of your hands.

Oh what you have to do to get a God to sing prayers.

You tossed and turned in your bed , you just couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep , you started getting so frustrated at this , you had a tiring day that was on the verge of miserable and now the heavens wont let you sleep.

You sat up and well, just sat there , you yawned from the never ending tiredness that you couldn't fix.

"Trouble sleeping?" A deep but soft voice spoke out from the corner of your room , green eye's shining brightly against the abyss of black that was your room.

"Yeah.." You scoffed , your voice groggy and almost sad sounding.

XD stood quietly next to your bed , his size made him look out of place , everything looked small and petite compared to him , that included you.

He reached out a hand , you tiredly took it and he very carfully lifted you up into his arms , he replaced your place on your bed with himself , your sheets wrinkling under him as he set you down in his lap , you laid ontop of him basically.

Your arms and legs drapped over his own in a weird mess of limbs , one of his hands rested on your back , his finger maming small circles on your shoulder.

"Aren't I heavy? Or making you uncomfortable-" You asked , your chin on his chest as you looked up into his eye's.

"Course not, your merely a teddy bear to me little dove" XD smiled slightly at you.

He actually deeply afraid of hurting you , you were like a thin sheet of glass that could shatter and the smallest of touches.

"Y'know...I never knew you'd care enough to do this..." You said softly , your ear to his chest , his beating heart made you realise that he wasn't just a God but a living , breathing being just like you.

"You're right , I don't...but for you I'd make an exception my dove"

Museum

Thought process: OK hear me out. What if the Dream SMP events happened in real life? And they have a history museum dedicated to it. And they have wax figures of ALL the people on the SMP. One day the reader gets stuck in the museum after staying late. The people who were closing did a terrible job at their job. But as soon as the doors close the figures come alive. Story: The sun peeked out from behind the building. The Utah sun retries early I guess. The museum you were standing in looked as if it needed to be retired too. The town in general looked like it needed a makeover. At least the old retirees that live here are nice. When you got closer you saw the large oak doors had stained glass instead of windows. As you walked up the stairs to the doors to make it easier to see to colorful windows. They showed stories of people with colorful glass shards. You pushed open the tall oak doors to be greeted with an overly dusty entrance room. There was a woman around 50 sitting at the desk on her phone. She didn't notice you as you walked up to the counter and placed a five-dollar bill on the round desk. She didn't even notice when you walked right past her and into the museum. Right, when you walked past the desk you are met with the long hallways filled with glass cases that are filled with pieces of clothing and smaller items from the war-filled area. But what caught your attention was the large room right behind the desk. It had high-vaulted ceilings with large sunlight windows in the rafters. They were casting the last of the dusty afternoon sun into the room. 'wow' Was the only thing that entered your mind. The areas around the room were pushed in creating small half-rooms inside with extremely well-crafted wax figures. The first one to catch your eye was a tall brunette. He stood in a red and blue uniform holding an iron-like sword in his hands. His curly hair fell over his glasses and glass eyes that looked too real for a figure. A blonde teenager was standing behind him wearing the same uniform and clutching his arm while a red liquid stained his uniform. Across the room stood three men one wielding a sword. The second held a hand with a lit lighter out in front of him his eyes blazed a brilliant orange. Lastly, the third held a bow drawn back and pointed across the hall at the blonde boy. You stood frozen in between the five gazing around the room at the history in front of you. The next room had a male standing above a button hand hovering above it. Their sunglasses slid down his nose showing their pure white eyes. Across from the man, three people stood baking what looked to be cupcakes. The girl had pink hair and one of the men had blue and red colored glasses and close to no hair. Behind them sat what looked to be a fox-hybrid who sat nibbling on a pale-colored cupcake. On a pillar in the middle of the room stood a man with goat horns curling around his goat-like ears one hand lifted over the podium. His mouth was open as if he was giving an important speech. At the bottom of the pillar stood another man with large golden wings his arms folded across his chest smiling. Behind them stood two older-looking males. One with large black wings spread wide and the other had the skull of what looked to be a pig. The next room had two people in it a very tall male with his skin split down the middle black on one side and white on the other. The next was still odd he was very short and had the same goat features as the man on the podium. As you marvel at the room you didn't hear the lady at the desk get up and lock the doors leaving or the sun finally tucking under the horizon till you felt something wizz past the back of your head. Your head snapped to the right back toward the people in uniform. They stood moved from their original positions. They stood there blinking at the newcomer. You saw the arrow planted into the ivory floor that was originally in the bowman's bow and turned to look at the trio across from the boys. The blue-clad man had redrawn his bow but it was pointed at the floor. The other two men had let their weapons fall to their sides. You spun around the room the see all the figures were moving. The man on the podium lowered his hands and closed his mouth the stare at you. "Who are you?" the green-clad man asked in a loud voice walking up to you. The brunette in uniform walked up on the other side of you. "Y-y/n, my name is Y/n," you muttered focusing on the blonde's stunningly bright green eyes. They looked too real for glass. The brunette looked up and pulled the green man away from you. While they were talking you took it as a chance to stare at all the wax figures who now staring back at you. The pink-haired lady looked over at you and gave you a small wave. Of course, you gave a small wave back. You turned back toward the tall males and caught the last of their conversation. "Should we take her to XD?" Wilbur asked ignoring you and turning to the blonde. "Yes, probably. Tommy stay here and babysit Schlatt he looks drunk again," the teen grumbled but walked over to the podium. The brunette grabbed a hold of her wrist and started walking out of the room. The blonde trailing behind but catching up and grabbing your other hand. They still pulled you down one of the long hallways. They as in more the brunette than the blonde pulled you down a hallway and into a dark room. Before your eyes could adjust you heard a voice. "Wilbur? Dream? What are doing here?" the voice was loud and commanding. "Dream talk," the voice said again after no one answered it. The brunette let go of your hand and was blindly looking for the light switch. When he found it and switched on the lights. In front of you stood an extremely tall male. He had two large sets of white wings coming from his back and a pair of gold-colored halos floating above his head. He also had the same stunning green eyes and blonde hair as Dream or that's what the man called him. "Hello, Mortal," the winged man said now looking down. In my view, he made you feel already smaller than you already were. Though you were a very shy person you still gave the god a good glare. "XD. Her name is Y/n," the brunette- Wilbur snapped at the god. "Mortal, slave, pet, Y/n same thing. She is still under me," XD gladly snapped back at Wilbur. Just then a blonde head popped into the room. "Wilbur, Schlatt managed to lose his eye again," the teen whined. The four of you just stared at him. You probably thinking he's crazy. "Tell him Eret found it," XD spoke up. "Thank you, big man!" Tommy yelled running out of the room. "I am Wilbur," the brunette said even if you knew his name you were glad he introduced himself. "that's Dream and DreamXD, and the child is Tommy." He grabbed your hand this time instead of your forearm and started walking toward the hall again. Wilbur took a sharp turn to a different room instead of the main hall that you had met him in. When he pushed open the heavy wooden doors into what looked to be an auditorium.

It was a pleasing day at the small land of many secrets. The field filled with flowers of every kind know to man. Many collors going miles without an end. This place was known to one person, and that specific person was blessed by a god. She was blessed with the peace. She was blessed with this land, and she must care for it! And the very God that has given her the peace.

DreaXD, the lord of smp, the God of gods, and someone.... someone you could call a friend.

You have meet in a rather said surprising circumstances.

It was a sunny day at the so called land of chaos. Or it's original name, The DSMP. You wished to have a simple picnic by yourself. Everything was prepared a day before. A simple red and white blanket, some sweets of course, and a book to read. You had it perfectly planned.

The place you picked was a small garden with your flowers, it was a hill behind your house. The perfec mix of sunny weather and a slight breeze was quite pleasant.

You gathered your basket and went on your way. It didnt take you long, of course but it still felt like a small journey. When you arrived at your destination, you calmly put the basket down, got the blanket out of it, and settled down.

It has been few hours since you settled down, few cookies Here and there along with a peace of strawberry cake you prepared. The weather was still the same. Until the slight breeze picked up, it soon became a small spiral of wind and leafs. A slight golden glow startet appering. The leafs picked up a human like shape and it soon became an actually human. Tho this human had wings...

You didn't mind, there were many hybrids on the smp. It was not weird to see a new one here and there.

The breeze came back to normality, the humanoid title his head to the side, as if he was questioning me.

"Do you wish to have some strawberry cake with me"

I offered. It was not polite to not offer a person some cake if you already had plenty in your basket.

The fellow hybrid looked even more confused, it was harder to say his expression because of the mask on his face, the lips were still visible. There was a small frown, but, eho am I to blame them.

"You are not... scared?"

They asked

"Should I be?"

I replied with a question of my own

"Yes."

"Do you plan on hurting me?"

"No."

"Okay then. My offer still stand mister. Do you wish to have some of my home made strawberry cake ?"

"Sure.."

I scooted over so they could have some space. Reaching into my backed I pulled out the cake, and sliced a peace of it. Putting it on a small plate decorated with flowers. I gave it to them, also not forgeting the fork.

The frown turned into a smile and they began to eat it. An pleased hum could been heard here and there. After eating in a comfortable silence. Both of you decided to chat.

That small picnic you had planned turned in to a talk with a creature, later learning that HE was a GOD.

The visit became often, from few days in month to few days im week. It soon tuned into a daily visit, and a part of your routine.

As much as you wished to go outside, you simply couldn't. You wasted a lot of energy farming yesterday. You could have asked for the potato's.... but you do not wish to abuse his kindness.

The light started shining straight to your eyes true your blinds.

'I thought I closed them'

Slowly, you sat in your bed, the blankets mangled with your feet. Reaching towards the blind you separated them, letting the light finally come true. There were few birds to be heard, but your focus was only on the wind going in circles.

To an ordinary human, that would be a sign of bed Wether coming. But to you, to you this was a sign. XD was calling for you.

With an smiled you opened your window, letting some fresh air come along aswell.

"XD... I have to sadly tell you I cannot go outside today. As much as I wish to do so. I'm simply to tired. Please understand. If you wish, you can come to my home and we could talk in here"

The moment you have ended the sentence, the glow you have memorised has aperd in your room, few feet away from your bed frame.

"Well hello there XD"

"Hello y/n.. you look.... ravishing as always"

You could tell that was sarcasm... your hair is mangled and your clothes wrinkled.

"Oh shush mister, you saw me in worse conditions. Now do you wish to talk or muck me while I have awoken not less then 5 minutes ago."

"I wish to talk"

"Good choise"

You patted the bed and moved to side so he could have some space to lay in your bed. To his suprise, you didnt just start talking like you ussual do. Instead, you snuggled in his side. He was frozen for a moment. Then remember on of your many conversations.

'It's called cuddling XD, we do it ti show love, or when we just want to be hugged'

It was a simple one, but to the God... not that much.

Few minuts have passed, he ended the fight with his mind. Slowly picking you up and putting you on his chest, his wings writing around you protectively.

"XD"

"Yes y/n"

"I have a request"

Upon that, you snuggled in his chest a lil

"Ask my dear"

"Could you make it rain?"

"Well of course, anything for you"

Moving his hand away from your embrace, he flicked it once and the sunny weather soon turned in to a slight rain. .

This was nothing new yet nothing old. It was a simple act of him. You never asked for anything unless it's nesesery. So this small request was pleasing for XD. He was okay with it.

Small hum was heard and soon your breathing became slower and in a slight rhythm. You have fallen asleep.

He was always with them. Not like they were that aware of his presence. However, he made sure that they also knew they weren't alone. Letting them catch a shadow here or there. Maybe a small inclination that there was someone watching them.

He felt powerful. Watching all the people from above, messing with reality and dimensions and people in general. But his eyes were only on you.

You, the girlfriend of the most feared and powerful individual Dream, the one he despises. He tried everything, looking like him, talking like him, laughing like him. But still, your eyes were on Dream only. It was almost as if you're obsessed with him.

XD wanted you to stop, to turn around and to look at him. He wants to see the same admiration in your eyes just for himself. The god was selfish, yes. But he had everything he wanted but you. He had riches, power, control and more. In any world he travels he could get anyone he wants. But he wants you.

And you don't want him.

Everything around you turned black, your body went numb and the last thing you could do was to gasp.

When you were able to open your eyes again, you could find yourself in a cloud, surrounded by other clouds in a white space somewhere. Around you was nothing but void. Were you dead?

"You're awake!", an excited voice almost yelled. It sounded far away but so close at the same time and it hurt your ears, the deep scratching coming from each corner of your surroundings was confusing and loud, causing you to place your hands above your ears while closing your eyes shut.

Suddenly, the voice went softer. "Sorry, sunshine. Didn't mean to cause any harm.. are you feeling alright?"

The voice was familiar but you couldn't put your finger on it. It felt warm but cold at the same time.

XD decided it'd be best to impersonate Dream again, but not to an extent where you'd think it's actually him. So he used a bit of his voice, quite similar looks and changed your surroundings into your house. Still, if anyone would show up to your house they wouldn't see you there.

You decided to study the creature in front of you. Usually when people would talk about the god DreamXD, they'd describe him as at least 10 feet tall, with a light gray mast with an XD on. They'd say he wears a dark green cloak, covering his head almost entirely with golden highlights at the end. A chain with an emerald, shaped in XD around his neck and a powerful weapon of any kind in his hand. They'd explain that he'd have giant wings that he doesn't even have to use.

But the creature, no, the person in front of you looked different. He was tall, yes. You'd guess around 7 feet at least, towering over you, with a white cloak that covers just everything that needs to be covered. His tanned collarbone was on display, and his black fingernails nervously scratched it from time to time. No wings on his back, no mask covering his face but the chain was there, shining in a beautiful, bright green.

His eyes were almost normal, but not really. While one side has an X as its pupil, the other has a D.

"Why.. Why am I here..? Or why are you here..?" Your words came out like a whisper, too terrified to anger the literal god in front of you.

"Because you're my queen. My goddess."

Each word that came out of his mouth was like posing, it made you drown in the mattress you sat on. His words alone made you feel more powerful than you've ever felt before.

"Your goddess..?"

"Of course." XD answered without hesitation as he kneeled down in front of you. But even though he was on his knees, his face was at the same height as yours. "I've been watching you for quite some time now, you're the only one worth my time. I could watch you for decades and not get tired of it. But you waste all your time on that.. stupid Dream.. why would a goddess like you waste your time on a manipulative asshole like him.."

His eyes turned red the second he mentioned your boyfriend but you already forgot about him. The strong presence of the god made you forget everything.

While XD called the human version of himself, Dream, a manipulative asshole, he was one himself. He used magic, dark magic, to make you feel aroused. Could you do something with Macaw!Hybrid Male!reader × DreamXD? They are alot like Philza where they have a group of tropical birds that follow and talk to them , reader has really big and beautiful wings and one day , they were hanging from a tree , all the colourful birds in the tree's and they hung upside down , face to face with XD , turns out XD hadn't a clue what a macaw was , he was asking questions about you spesifically alot. Idk , just a small thing with colour bc he has not a clue what colour is.

“Oh well, macaw aren’t typically native to this area so I suppose I do stand out quite a bit.”

“Macaw?”

“Yes, a species of bird. What species are you?”

“I am a God.” You looked confused at the man before you, furrowing your brows before shaking your head.

“Ah, whatever. Would you like to learn more about macaws?” The man nodded, watching as you hopped down from the tree before taking a seat on the ground, motioning for him to join you.

As he sat down across from you, you began to go into detail about macaws, covering almost everything from diet to average wingspan.

“So you don’t eat any meat?” 

“Macaw birds don’t eat meat, as a human I technically could but I much prefer the fruits and seeds that my nonhybrid counterparts prefer.” DreamXD nodded, taking in all the information you had told him.

“Why are your wings those colors?”

“Oh, it’s a type of trick strategy to keep safe from predators. Since macaw are flock birds, meaning we travel and live in groups, we use the bright colors to disrupt the shape of our bodies and confuse predators. It’s called disruptive coloration!” DreamXD nodded, looking from you to the small birds gathered around you. They had returned earlier when they realized that they were in fact, not in danger after all.

“Are those your pets?” He motioned to the small birds that surrounded you, some of which seemed to hop about in an aggravated manner after hearing his question.

“Not pets, but rather friends and family. As the saying goes, birds of a feather, stick together.” A few birds squawked and laughed at your play on words, though DreamXD didn’t seem to get it.

“Do you have any other questions?”

“No, goodbye now.” DreamXD stood up before vanishing, his presence blinking out of existence right in front of you.

“Well, he was certainly odd. What species of bird do you think he was?” You turned to look at the array of colors bouncing around you.

“I’m not sure but he’s certainly weird, I say next time we fight him.”

“No, let’s not fight him, I’d prefer to not make any enemies.”

It has been a long week in your small land that one God have gifted you long ago. It was not to far away yet not to close to the land of chaos, or rather said the SMP.

The God that gifted you such a beutiful land was no other then the God of other gods, DreamXD, but you like to call him XD, it just seemed better that way.

You met the God at one of the many grass fields covered with flowers. You were laying there on your red blanket, next to your basket of many sweets and home made dishes.

He appeared out of nowhere and was looking at you, he thought that you would be scared like many others, or at least scream. But no, you gave him a kind smile and asked if he wanted any cake you got left.

No asking who he was, no asking his name. Just a kind smile and offer of your delicious strawberry cake.

That's was a start of long life friendship that will, like it's name, last until you lose your tree heart.

Now it became a weekly routine for both of you to meet at the field. No there were times that you couldn't come, and one of them is right now.
