Pyrrhic victories where the cost was not worth it. There is no win here with the Five of Swords and there never can be because even when you win you lose. And the cost is seldom worth it.

Upright Keywords: arguments, disputes, aggression, bullying, intimidation, conflict, hostility, stress
"This card indicates that you are engaging in a conflict of some nature. It can also suggest a disagreement with others, which leads to hostility and tension. Despite the fact that you think you’ve won, you might still lose in the big picture, because you have annoyed or hurt those that you have argued with, and as a result, you are on the road to isolating yourself. Perhaps, at the moment, you believed that it was more important to be right rather than appreciate and understand where the other side was coming from."
idea of reversed was from the spring of 2022 until the 15th season, and then in the 16th season they decided to resurrect it…
Reversed Keyword: reconciliation, resolution, compromise, revenge, regret, remorse, cutting losses
"The Five of Swords reversal meaning shows you that all you want is for that particular period to be over so that you can forget and forgive. Because you are beginning to understand that winning is not everything, you will be capable of focusing your energy on something a lot more constructive and positive."

Five of Swords
This card is also known as the ‘defeat card’: it stands for competition, conflict, winning at every cost. Reversed it stands for a pyrrhic victory - one that will ultimately lead to one’s downfall. So I chose Baron Ikito from Invisible Agent, right after he killed Stauffer. While surely it was a final victory over a bitter rivalry, in the end Ikito perishes too after taking his own life. I tried to represent this by taking the card’s imagery of a threatening and jagged sky and changing it into one where it is on fire, a B52 bomber high in the sky releasing its payload. Behind Ikito and Stauffer there is Heiser, shot down in spite of his attempt to take over Stauffer’s position. Fascism eats its own until noone is left.
Anyways, on a lighter note have Woody Guthrie:
