You can have a spectacular comeback! Samson had a calling but had distractions and was disobedient. Thru a series of incidents, God called Samson's attention. God is merciful and just, but realize that he will not always strive with man. (Gen 6:3) Thru a series of complex and painful experiences, Samson learned his lesson. The good news is that not all was lost in the life of Samson. God is a God of second chances and beyond. Convicted by his sins, he repented. When he did, God heard him and gave him a great victory. He became the Comeback kid. The good news is that not all was lost. God is a God of second chances and beyond. Convicted by his sins, he repented. When he did, God heard him and gave him a great victory. He became the Comeback kid and brought the House down. Let's learn from his experience and walk in our identity with Christ. Doing so will allow us to experience more significant victories and bring glory to our Lord Jesus!

11/19/20 A matter of life and death
Hey everyone! I hope that you guys are having a wonderful week, and that everyone's getting some spiritual peace, physical rest, and mental restoration. If you're not, that's okay; you're here and reading this now, and so long as you place your trust in Jesus, He will anchor you regardless of where you are. Even if you don't believe my words, His words will always be truth. Pray to begin. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if I live on in the flesh, this will mean fruit from my labor; yet what I shall choose I [d]cannot tell. 23 [e]For I am hard-pressed between the two, having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. 24 Nevertheless to remain in the flesh is more needful for you. 25 And being confident of this, I know that I shall remain and continue with you all for your progress and joy of faith, 26 that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again. Philippians 1:21-26 (NKJV) *for more context read Philippians 3:1-14 I was reading Philippians recently, and when I came to this part of chapter one I knew that I absolutely needed to remember and cherish this passage. It was so, so amazing to me to read, especially verse 21, that I read it over and over again. "For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain". That's so beautiful, and yet so hard to really believe and live out! I added the rest of the verses here for some more context, but basically, Paul was speaking to the Philippians about his own inner conflict in service to God. Paul, since the transformation over his life in Acts, had been among the most fervent and active messengers of the Gospel, and because of that had undergone countless difficulties. He was stoned, mocked, shipwrecked, and imprisoned, and to imagine even one of those things happening to me is honestly difficult. His life was by no means easy, and yet he forged on in the name of Christ. He had come to an understanding that full devotion to Jesus made his life extremely difficult, and without the Holy Spirit to guide him, it would've been impossible. Yet, for him to recognize that, in spite of the suffering, his life for Christ was much more meaningful than departing to be with God then, it stands as a testament to what our attitudes should look like. I want you to be honest with yourself; do you even remotely live and approach life the way that Paul has? As true believers, have you been willing to sacrifice everything for Jesus and go through trial, even if God doesn't necessarily call you to? And if you have, are you mourning the loss of your freedoms/happiness, or have you come to the same conclusion as Paul? These are heavy thoughts, but to fully give our lives to Christ means to be willing to give all that we are. If Paul had gone to the Lord earlier, he truly would have "gained". He is, after all, the hallmark of finishing the race, and for him, heaven would've been a far superior alternative to life. And yet, he knew that his time on Earth was also meant to spread the good news further, and that he was needed. We might never be a Paul, but we are still responsible for the Gospel, building up believers, and sending them out to the world. This passage reminds us to switch around our perspective on life, both in what we value and what our decisions ought to be. Many of us, perhaps consciously or not, live like life is our gain, and heaven is not. We place our sights on the finite instead of the eternal, and it affects our ministry. We continue to live, not for the abundance of others, but for ourselves. And we'd rather live than die, because we have yet to grasp the treasure of heaven compared to the worthless pursuits of flesh. Are you living in Christ, or for yourself? And do you really believe that you look forward to death, and eternity with Christ, rather than the pains of earthly life? Pray to close. Jamie

Wisdom for Living
Tuesday Greetings in Jesus' name! In the garden of our lives, may the fruit of our words minister grace, grieving not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby we are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let also our actions be pleasing to the Lord. Shine bright!

As we grow, change is inevitable. When I felt God’s call to go out and share my testimony, I started this humble brand of Godly Woman 911. My desire and passion was to serve Christ faithfully, obey HIM joyfully, trust HIM always, seek HIM eternally and become his close friend so that I can share in his truth and knowledge. As my love for Christ grew, so did my love for each of you. I pray continually that God’s mercy, grace and love be with each of you. Thank you for journeying with me in my mountain top and valley experiences. I took a look at the logo and thought, Christ is vibrancy and color; I see his beauty all around me. And so I went ahead and designed 4 logos that each had a special meaning to me. I then asked for your assistance in choosing and God in his infinite wisdom actually had many of you voting for my first love as well. Thank you! The circle of the logo, highlights for me God’s embracing love. He is everywhere and always with me, holding me in his arms and never letting go. The circle with the cross inside reminds me that no matter who tries to penetrate my circle, that Christ is there and will keep, love and protect me. And the purple, that is for royalty. I am a child of the The Most High. So in all I do, I keep my head lifted high in praise, glory and honor to my King. I want to share a beautiful post by Tamara Gondwe Pande on my Facebook page which truly had me giving God praise because this is what I hoped for with this new logo: “We are daughters of the king and are royalty. Our worth and value is in the king and not in any human being. Every time I will look at this logo it will remind me to daily go back to my King and find my worth and value in him.The cross will represent the love God has for me….” There are quite a few exciting things planned in the future. Thank you all for your continued praise. To God be the glory and honor. May God’s grace, mercy and love be with you. #newdesign #logo #godlywoman #godlyliving #God #love https://www.instagram.com/p/B4gNaSulG-D/?igshid=4snge0c7umxy

GOD IS HOME 🙌🏾 David expresses his conviction in this verse that the Lord's goodness will be with him throughout his life. Whether green pastures and still waters lay ahead, or David was required to walk through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord's goodness would accompany him. Over the years of his long life, David had found that God is good all the time. Further, the Lord's unfailing love would be present with him every step of life's journey. Paul encourages us in 📖 Romans 8:38–39 to count on God's love in all of life's circumstances. Nothing can separate us from His unfailing love. We can use trials to make us more aware of God's love so that we grow, rather than become bitter. David anticipated that at the end of his life he would enter heaven—the house of the LORD—and live there forever. Having the Lord as our shepherd makes life worthwhile and blessed, and when our journey on earth ends we will enter heaven to live with our Shepherd forever (📖 John 14:3). 📖Revelation 7:16–17 promises that in heaven believers will never hunger or thirst or suffer again, "For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their shepherd, and he will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes." 🙌🏾 Root Your Life In God #godishome #bibleref #dailydevotional #godlyliving #abidinginchrist #GodsBlessingsAndMotives #godisgood #scripturewithpatu https://www.instagram.com/p/CVS_-K2rSIxLwcQRbwSrtqrVhExKmPfvMtRrQI0/?utm_medium=tumblr

#REPOST @the_lords_According to Psalms 51:10, Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Yes dear, some times knowing or unknowingly we fall for Satan’s temptations and regret a lot about our sinful habits, just because we are unable to overcome them. But my dear friends it’s very important for us to overcome such habits in order to enter into His kingdom. So today if you are unable to overcome such temptations and falling in sin again & again? then it’s time to pray & seek God’s help in order to lead a holy life. So here in this verse, we see the prayer of David. He prayed God to create a pure heart in him and also a steadfast spirit within him. Yes dear, this is such an important prayer which we all need to pray to overcome such weaknesses. So let’s pray according to this verse and receive God’s grace & live a blessed life. Have a blessed day ❤️ #pray #prayer #praymore #prayers #prayerroom #prayermeeting #prayerispowerful #prayerlife #godlyliving #godslove #pureheart #pureheartedperson❤ #spiritualawakening #steadfast #steadfastness #dailyhope #dailyquotes #dailyjesus #dailybread #dailymanna #repostios #repostw10 https://www.instagram.com/p/CUQNY21Fjfx/?utm_medium=tumblr

/ Unfaithful Even Before I Met You /
I always thought cheating was for people bounded by relationships.
I’ve given pieces of my heart to people that God never meant for me. I tried to be the best person, at least for this world’s standards, that someone is ever going to have.
Feelings were uttered, hearts intertwined—until my head reached its most painful blow.
I did not even cheat, what did I do wrong?
—they were all not for me.
Who could be the one for me then?
As I walk this life in singleness, God has been doing in my heart a lot of hard chiseling and carving. There were so many painful nights, days where everything seemed so slow; but there is peace all along.
Sometimes as I sit in a bus, walk in the middle of a rush hour, or drive myself home, I can’t help but ask who could be ‘him’?
As I often found myself in a guessing game, God grabbed my arm from behind—it’s not yet the best time to bother.
I asked when will be the best time.
God still has a lot to work in me. I’ve run away from Him countless times, hit the rock bottom a million times, questioning God “Why, I thought I was good enough?”
Until I realized I was the one cheating on the one He has in store for me all this time—I learned my lesson the hard way.
Unfaithfulness doesn’t only count if someone cheats in a relationship; rather, it does happen when someone tries to give herself away to a person that was never meant for her—she then cheats on God’s best, the one that God sends at the right time.
I was taken aback. I was a cheater all along. I pleaded God for forgiveness.
He cleansed and made me new. I experienced restoration.
Every moment that I would be standing still, thinking about what could happen or who could be, I would remind myself that God holds everything in His hands.
I need not to worry.
Impatience will only lead to unfaithfulness once again, nobody wants to fall for the same trap. On the other hand, patience leads to assurance and blessing.
A singleness that leads to God’s best requires not only a time of waiting, but also an act of faithfulness, until He finally gives His best—the one.
