Ok so Muriel is my absolute favorite LI so I waited for his story to come out before reviewing the Dorian shorts
This story SUCKS bro this dollar store fanfiction wth!! Ik they edited some stuff after reading comments so I won’t say much on that, buuuttt
First off the sprite thing itself is really weird. Like they can talk but Muriel still names them after people he knows?? Even if it’s a creature that doesn’t talk he still asks for their name lol and even if they didn’t have names he would’ve probably went similar to what he did with the chickens and name them after sounds they make. Also those sprites were annoying I’m pretty sure he would’ve backed me up here in kicking them lil bitches outta our house!!
Second, why is mc forced to be the bad guy?? I’m trying to get some lovin from my big boy here but everyone’s mad at me cuz I was trying to save us from starving!!
Overall I liked the fluffy bits at the end but it felt really out of character and the writing pretty lackluster
That cg didn’t miss tho I saw a screenshot somewhere and he had me falling to my knees gripping my chest in the middle of Walmart 😭😭 he’s so beautiful I’d give him my bank account info without a second thought

The man frowns walking in but barely slows down. You keep a wiped clean expression when his eyes detail you, sitting on the counter, wearing a long skirt and summer blouse. Your heart still skips a beat though, betraying your professional intentions. Glistening with sweat, Jackson Wang throws his gym bag on a wooden bench, still staring at you like you’re an apparition. It’s because you don’t fit in, shouldn’t be in a men’s locker room at 6 AM, but you intended that as a mind trick. Showing up at an unexpected place to get a scoop or an interesting interview… And Lord knows Jackson owes you one. He’s been blowing off your university newspaper for months; not showing up at scheduled interviews and avoiding the usual questions after a big game.
“Were you this desperate to see me naked?” He quirks a brow, flexing his bicep as he throws open his locker. There’s no question, he remembers what you’re here for, but it’s typical behaviour coming from him. You try to avoid noticing how his damp tank top clings to his back muscles but fail. In the end, your eyes drop to the safety of the notepad resting on your thighs.
“Is it true that your mother used to wake you up at 5 in the morning every day for stretching exercises?”
“Is that how you found me?” The hot player scoffs slightly deterred. “You know I don’t talk about my mother.”
“It’s alright,” you scribble something, unaffected by his coldness since you expected this reaction, “I already talked to her last Friday. Amazing lady, very nice and proud of you.”
His jaw clenches, “The game where I scored over 60 points? Write about that.”
“Everyone knows about that…” You reply confidently, holding his gaze. “I want to write something substantial, an in-depth interview about the real Jackson Wang.”
“Really?” A dangerous smile suddenly stretches Jackson’s face. “If I knew you wanted to have me deep, I would’ve made us happened sooner.” This doesn’t even make you flinch. Wang has a reputation, apparently, plenty of girls want an extensive experience with a self-obsessed Point Guard. He’s hot, you aren’t blind. Now that you’re standing alone in the same room as him, you can totally relate. You blink, trying to mask the effect the man has on you. “What’s your name, doll?”
Fricking. Doll.
“You’ve been told many times, but I guess you’re forgetful when women talk.”
“You’re smart,” Jackson chuckles, taking his sticky tank top off. You concentrate on his face, not letting your eyes wander lower on his ripped body. He’d like that way too much… And maybe you would too. “Join me in the shower, promise I’ll never forget you again.”
“Y/n, for the Uni’ paper. Remember it.” You nervously replace a strand of hair that went astray behind your ear. Suddenly the room feels very warm. “Do you have any favourite Chinese restaurants in town where a fan might run into you?”
“Are you always so frigid, doll? I could help with that.” Unphased, Jackson slips his fingers in the waistband of his gym shorts, sliding them down his thighs and calves in one swift go. Jesus, his briefs are gone too. Your whole face burns at his exposure, but he doesn’t seem embarrassed at all. He grins, observing your shyness and walks up to you. Instinctively, you press your back against the wall and your thighs together.
He attempts to steal your notebook, but you hiss like an animal, clutching to it and staring at the ceiling; “Don’t touch what’s not yours.”
“Feisty,” Jackson licks his lips, scrutinizing you, “I’m a traditional man... I’ll take you to my favourite place if you shower with me.”
You make the mistake of inhaling through your nose, he’s close now but you had not realized he was also in the air all around you. The manly scent of his sweat and skin is arousing, mind-numbing, you can almost taste him. Shit. Lord knows you aren’t made of stone. Being in the same room as a hot naked man is a bit much for your brain, especially if he’s hitting on you. Ambushing Jackson was a bad idea after all.
“Do you have a boyfriend?” The player’s gaze slide on your neck to the little triangle of bare skin in the middle of your chest. There’s nothing impressing there to see but still, he exhales softly, like he’s affected. “Or are you a good good girl, y/n?”
“I ask the questions,” you try one last time to sound convincing and get him to focus on the interview. “You’re naked.”
Ok, not a question.
“Oh yeah,” Jackson steps even closer, trapping you on the counter. His tanned shoulders glimmer rendered sticky by dried sweat from his morning training. “And what are you gonna do about it?”
Fuck. People were right.
He’s dangerous, he has that little something that makes you lose your mind and go full-on primal. Your second mistake is to look down at his body. Until now you had managed to concentrate on his dark brown eyes or your surroundings.
Of course, Jackson Wang is ripped like a god, every muscle under his honey-toned skin shaped to perfection. When you see his already half-hard dick something in your lower stomach pinches violently. Screw the interview. You fell into your own trap this morning.
“You don’t look like you have a boyfriend,” he muses, unbothered by your silence. His right hand brushes your ankle, decidedly climbing your calf to your thigh under your skirt, leaving your skin electrified at the touch. It stops behind your knee. “You look like you’re imagining me fucking you raw on that counter.” Your breath hitches as he roughly pulls your leg until you’re against him. Instinctively your arms wrap around his bare shoulders to stay straight and he presses into your clothes. “Am I right?”
“I-I’ve never done that before.” You hush in admittance, shutting both eyes and already giving up. That sounded like a promising offer. Jackson Wang’s talents outside the court are also praised by the masses. You’re too turned on to care about his fuck boy ways or your interview anymore. You bet a guy like him and a girl like you isn’t the most unexpected thing to happen in this locker room.
“Of course, you haven’t,” Jackson chuckles lowly before kissing your throat, “But do you want to now?”
It’s not like you’ll see him again and to be honest you’ve been thinking about it since the first time you saw him. “Yes.” You don’t hang with the same crowd, might as well have fun with him.
Immediately, his hand climbs back under your skirt, reaching your panties only to get rid of them. “You’re such a good girl,” Jackson muses, not slowing down, “so open for me...” His voice is huskier than before, and you cling to him when his fingers meet your folds.
Your eyes open into his and you read his surprise at your wetness. You grind closer to his hand, craving friction and Jackson stares for a long second, frozen. Dropping your head in the crook of his neck, you repeat the motion and suck on his collarbone. He’s probably marvelling about how compliant you’re being. Should you have been playing hard to get? Thankfully he doesn’t seem to mind any longer and he exhales shakily, inserting his fingers inside you with ease. You smirk into his skin, he’s in for a joy ride, you’re full of surprises. You aren’t his usual type, just like he isn’t yours, but that doesn’t mean you are anything close to frigid.
“So wet,” He murmurs, curving his fingers and making you raise your pelvis, “you have the softest little pussy ever. Did you know that?” You grip his shoulders tighter, digging your nails in harshly. When you roll your hips forward to fuck his hand, Jackson laughs in disbelief. “Someone could walk in…”
“You’d better fuck me fast then.”
“Tsst,” he hisses in disappointment, shaking his head and claiming his hand back, “I didn’t become the best by half-assin’ things...”
“The best?” You curve a brow, observing as he suggestively licks his fingers clean.
“Yes, the best.” Jackson frowns, rolling up your skirt to expose you. He inhales sharply when he succeeds, “Such a pretty pussy, I bet it taste like heaven.” The words should feel cringey but with his low deep tone... It’s the sexiest thing anyone has ever said to you. The guys you usually hook up with would never dare do anything like that anyway.
“Jesus.” You accidentally hit your head on the mirror in your back when Jackson presses a kiss on top of your pubis. He’s already going for it and he tugs at your legs again, pinning your ass down on the counter to allow himself better access. One of his thumbs digs your inner thigh while his other hand spreads your labia. “F-Fuck.” Jackson licks your cunt fully, lapping your juices off like it’s honey. You immediately fist his damp hair, holding to him.
“Delicious,” he groans, and your eyes roll back in your head. At the sound, you fell your insides tremble in answer. “I love to make good girls say dirty things…”
“J-Jackson,” you manage to get out haltingly as he teases you, stubble on his chin rubbing your private sensitive parts tortuously, “I’ll… die if someone walks in.”
“Why?” He chuckles, “You’re being so good right now...” He swirls his tongue on the bud of your clit and you cover your mouth to keep from embarrassing yourself. Ok, maybe this was the best damn decision of your entire life. Rumours were true, he is amazing at this. Your walls clench from pleasure when he inserts two fingers. Jackson builds you up easy and fast, sucking on your mound while his fingers curl and your hips jolt forward.
“Fuck!”
“So swollen, doll,” he hums in appreciation against your sex, “are you alright?”
“I-I…” You gasp for air, struggling to line up words that aren’t obscenities, but Jackson understands.
Your thighs are already shuddering of their own accord, out of control. He keeps working hard, circling, moving quickly. He’s relentless, tongue and hand merciless. Jackson keeps curving his fingers, holding your legs open with his whole body. You break after a particularly harsh suck on your clit and his fingers’ back and forth seems to hit something deeper buried inside of you. You come apart, crying out. Shivers run on your spine and goosebumps spread on your skin. Jackson holds you down as you jolt forward in ecstasy. His mouth remains, licking your sex clean of your arousal squirting out. When he finally stands, it’s only because you’re so overpowered you must push him back. You might come again right away if he keeps this up.
“Shit...” You curse, hand on your chest to calm your heartbeat. Your whole body feels numb and heavy. Jackson stares at you in awe, almost like he’s the one who just came. You never orgasmed that intensely with anyone before. What the hell just happened?
“Wow.” He breathes out, looking at you with round eyes instead of his usual smug smirk.
He’s also a wreck, full wet lips and messy hair sticking up in the air. When a man eats pussy like that, it’s clear he deserves to be praise to the skies. You can’t resist and you wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him down for a first kiss. Jackson follows, crashing his mouth on yours without any restraint. Your tongues meet rudely, you’re both way past caring about being decent anymore. Eager, one of your hands runs down his tone body to get a hold of his erected dick. Jackson lets you work your magic, too busy kissing you and caressing your thighs to care. Your fingers course on his burning sticky skin, taking their time to graze his pecks, abs, sliding on his back to explore the muscles of his ass. When you finally take him in your palm, he instantly groans, snuggling closer. Amused, you stroke him a few times, smearing his precum with your thumb.
“I think you promised to fuck me…” You say although you aren’t sure you can take it anymore and he pauses his kissing, pulling back.
“Get down,” Jackson orders darkly, making a shiver of excitation run down your back. You obey, sliding down the counter to stand in front of him on your wobbly legs. If someone was to come in right now, they’d wonder what he’s doing naked when you are still fully clothed. Jackson presses a kiss on your lips one last time before spinning you towards the counter. Obediently, you bend over, staring at him in the mirror as he lifts your skirt again, taking his time. “Fuck, you have the best ass... Why hide it?” Jackson stops to firmly massage it with both hands, grunting and rolling his hips forward. His cock brushes your over-sensitive parts and you grip the counter, holding your breath for what’s to come. He doesn’t seem too stressed and keeps toying with your ass, rolling his palms to raise your cheeks and releasing your skin to watch them bounce.
“Jackson…” You bemoan and he meets your eyes in the mirror, a cocky grin plastered on. “F-Fuck me while I can still take it.”
He chuckles, pulling again until you’re practically bent in half. He rocks his hips, running his dick on your wetness and letting out a satisfied groan. “Don’t worry,” his jaw clenches in concentration as he aligns himself at your swollen entrance, “I’ll give you in-depth, one on one Jackson Wang, baby doll.”
You’re about to reply something snarky when he pushes in, making you forget whatever you were going to say. While one of his hands predictably stays on your ass, the other comes up to fist your hair. You arch, allowing him deeper. Jackson pulls back until his tip is almost completely out before thrusting forward powerfully. Unable to remain quiet, you cry when he fills you again, stretching your hypersensitive sex in the most delicious way.
“O-Oh, shit!” Jackson picks up a rough pace, fingers bruising your ass to hold you still. “Fuck!” You gasp every time your skins meet.
“Such a dirty,” he thrusts, almost making your teeth clatter, “dirty mouth!”
“Please, please don’t s-stop!” You beg and Jackson’s grin widens.
“Your pretty pussy is so soft and wet, doll.” He wipes sweat from his brows, still tugging at your hair. “I could fuck it forever.”
Your eyes shut at his words, and your walls clench around him. Waves of pleasure already course through your body. Jackson keeps going evermore, faithful to his claim. Every push now has you trembling, and he releases your hair, wrapping his hand to hold your throat instead. He doesn’t add pressure. The messy moans you’re letting out are vibrations on his palm, and it’s clearly doing things to him.
Jackson pants behind you, “Open your eyes.” He commands and you execute, holding his gaze in the mirror with heavy eyelids. “You’re so tight. S-Shit.” You clench once more around his cock and he groans, sliding a foot to spread your legs further apart. “Are you really…” He fucks harder and your whole body shudders unable to take it much longer. “… Gonna come again just like this? I haven’t done anything yet.”
You stare in disbelief, fighting a new rush of thrill. You’ve already came once; he must be kidding. “What else can you d-do?”
“Oh, doll…” Jackson chuckles, shaking his head slightly. “I am the best.”
You gulp, throat bobbing in his hand. Perhaps he’s just being cocky, but he’s been amazing so far… Your insides jitter and you cry out. Fuck, you aren’t going to be able to last forever, unlike a certain someone. As if aware of this, Jackson’s hand on your neck tightens lightly. The action limits your air supply but curiously, the new sensation isn’t horrible, far from it. Your eyes go wide when your lungs tingle in protestation. Jackson bites his lips, observing your expression in the looking glass. Weirdly enough, you’re even more turned on than before. The hand on your throat is distracting you from your throbbing, over-stimulated folds. Attentive, Jackson releases you and oxygen suddenly fills your burning chest, nearly making you come right away. You heave, letting out a litany of curses and clutching to the counter for dear life. Jackson laughs, thumb stroking your jaw gently as it relaxes.
“Again?” He asks and you surprise yourself by promptly nodding. His hand tightens around your throat once more and this time you’re more than ready. He keeps burying himself into you, your whole body is on fire, lungs and sex about to explode. Your thighs begin to shake violently and your back curves. You’re lightheaded, you’re about to break and come again. Knowing, Jackson releases the pressure at the right moment, letting air fills your lungs abruptly.
All those sensations at once are overwhelming. You cling to the counter, out of your mind when you come undone. You’re quaking, riding the waves of your second orgasm and Jackson gives up too. His muscles tense and his hips gradually come to a stop. He presses against your ass, twitching and emptying himself completely. His hot cum fills you in spurts.
You are still completely out of it when he pulls back and his cock falls out, done. Jackson is still short-winded, but he starts cleaning you off with a paper towel right away. His touch is strikingly delicate as he wipes what’s leaking down on your inner thigh.
“Your perfect pussy took it all so well, doll.” He whispers in your ear like it’s your secret to keep before kissing your neck. Your silence doesn’t seem to bother him much and he bends to pick up your discarded underwear. Jackson helps you step in like you’re an impotent little girl. For once in your life, you certainly feel like one. He even replaces your skirt expertly as nothing happened. You try to keep your thumping heart and you’re erratic breathing under control when he hugs you tightly.
Jackson Wang is actually hugging you… Minutes after fucking you into oblivion.
“Wait here,” he presses a series of pecks on your jaw, not minding your dazed state, “I’ll shower real quick.”
“Actually…” you are still holding onto the counter when he pulls away, “I should probably show–”
“You should probably sit here and wait for me, like a good girl.” Jackson grins widely, forcing you to go sit down next to his abandoned gym bag. “The swimming team has a morning practice at 7:30.”
“Oh!” Panicked, you turn to look at the digital clock on the wall. “I should go!”
“Stay,” Jackson doesn’t even bother looking back to see if you’re obeying. He’s already in the open massive showers, half-yelling to be heard over the running water; “Let’s grab breakfast if you don’t have plans!” You watch his back as he washes off any traces of you and his morning training. What’s left of his cum sticks inside your panties, it feels unfair that he’s the only one getting cleaned. Still, you choose to accept, curious at the perspective of sharing a meal with him but already hating yourself for being so excited about it.
“Okay,” you yell back, jumping on your shaky legs to fix your hair and makeup in the mirror where you just watched him fuck you, “but only because you still owe me an interview!”
“I’m sure you have plenty of amazing things to write about me now!” Jackson laughs, shutting the water off. “Then we can go to my place. I’ll show you what else I can do.”
You bite your lips, wiping a smudge of mascara from under your eye. “Sounds great,” you manage to reply just before he reappears in all his wet, steamy, god-like glory.
“Great,” A still very naked Jackson repeats, grinning like a little kid as he steps into his clean sweatpants, “you won’t regret it.” Perhaps clothes should be forever banned from campus. The thought never occurred to you before.
Cautiously exhaling, you feel the familiar pinch of arousal in your lower stomach watching him get dressed. Again? You’re still throbbing everywhere but apparently, you’re already excited for next round. Feeling your gaze on him, Jackson turns, winking as he puts his t-shirt on. His abs stretch deliciously before sadly ending up being covered.
“I’m sure I won’t…”

idfk how tumblr works so heres a thing
pairing: destiel
(idk wth im thinking, its three in the morning as im writing this, give me a break)
Summary: Basically, Cas bothers Dean with a few questions about love and how to make his crush notice him in the way he wants to be noticed. Totally original plot twist: Dean is Cas’ crush and Cas makes his move.
And uh.. the story:
As Dean makes his way to the table in the bunker, he hears the pitter-patter of shoes following just behind him. Prepared for pretty much anything, Dean turns around, knife in hand, and is stopped by Cas’ own hand.
Dean sighs. “Sorry, Cas. I’m just not used to you walking up to me like this.” He puts the knife away and relaxes himself.
“Dean, can I ask you something?” Cas speaks in a firm tone, ignoring Dean’s words.
“Yeah?”
Castiel gulps and loosens his tie, sweat moistening his skin.
“Cas, what is it?” He stares more concentrated into the angel’s eyes, almost sapphire, he thought to himself, before rushing to push the thought to the back of his head.
“Have you ever had a crush...?”
His vibrant, green eyes jerked away from his friend, and Dean found his seat and sat. “Make yourself comfy.”
Cas approaches the table, following him, and decides on a seat decently distant, and still reasonably close to Dean. Nervously, he sits and his eyes begin to wander, seemingly hitting everything in the room except Dean.
“Yeah, sure, I’ve had plenty of crushes. You can’t really pass high school without having at least one crush.” Chuckling almost silently at himself, the freckled boy leans forward in his chair, stares down at the open book in front of him that he was meant to be reading, and continues skimming through the pages where he left off.
“I have another question.” The angel stares directly at Dean now. His eyes pierce the younger boy’s, and as soon as Dean notices how focused Castiel’s stare was, he blushes a little and looks back down at the lore.
“Shoot.” Dean felt a little uncomfortable now, as an angel was staring at the top of his head and asking him questions about love.
“What happens when you’re in love?”
“What do you mean? Like how are babies made?”
The corners of the angel’s mouth turned up and he chuckled. “No, I know that all too well. I mean...” He gets more stern. “...what do you do when you think you’re in love?”
“Oh...” Dean blushes a few shades short of ‘tomato red’ and thoughts chase each other in his mind. Angels can fall in love? Is Cas in love? With who? He jokes the thoughts away, knowing they’d only bother him until he got answers. “I guess I know a few people who would say they’d have sex and see if it lasts.”
“What do you do?”
He has to stop and think about it. Has he ever even been in love? I mean, he’s liked someone, but was it love?
“I don’t know. I don’t think I know what love is anymore, romantically at least. I don't think I ever have. I love Sam, I loved Lisa and Ben like family, I love you...”
Cas clears his throat, now beginning to feel uncomfortable. “I think I love someone. Someone I shouldn’t.”
“Woah there, who is it?” Maybe angels can love?
“He... He’s like family to me.”
Dean stops flipping through the pages and looks over as the angel. A grin appears on his face and he’s confused as to why the way Cas worded that made him so happy.
“You like dudes or something?”
“Dean, humans are all the same to me, considering gender. And by angel standards, I don’t have a gender either. My vessel is only male.” He grows a confused look on his face, wondering why it meant anything to Dean whether or not he liked males.
“He’s human? I thought angels couldn’t like humans.”
“It’s not necessarily approved of back in heaven...”
“Oh, you rebel.” Dean leans forward to playfully punch Cas in the arm.
“How do I show him I like him?”
“Dude, I don’t know. Just be upfront with him.” Dean’s focus travels back to the pages
“O-Okay,,,” Cas stands up and walks toward his chair, waiting to gather all of Dean’s attention.
As Dean turns, just after their eyes meet, Cas pulls him in for a kiss, tilting his head up by the chin.
As fast as he pulled Dean in, Cas pulls away, and stares into Dean’s emerald eyes for just a few seconds more. He’d treasure these moments, and he’d stow them away so that he could look over them later. They always comforted him.
“Cas?”
“Y-Yes Dean?” The angel, now red, turns his head towards the exit, expecting to be yelled at or kicked out.
“Do that again and this time, don’t you dare stop.”
--I KNOW THIS KINDA SUCKS BUT PLEASE FORGIVE ME IM BAD AT THIS OKAY? JUST TAKE IT AND LEAVE PLEASE LMAO--

WWE Smackdown Live 9/17/19 Review
Despite the fact that this wasn’t the strongest episode in the world, I actually liked it a lot. The segments that bookended the show were both pretty strong, and we saw a huuuuuuge announcement for the upcoming debut on Fox. Big stuff happened here, and the matches were pretty good. Unfortunately, it was dragged down by some stinkers. Just a few, but boy were they bad. Here is my full review of this weeks edition of Smackdown Live!
New Day vs. The Revival & Randy Orton: Holy crap, we started with a match! Wild, it feels weird but good. Big E started out with Dash Wilder, and immediately started to beat down the heel with clubbing blows to the chest and a splash on the apron for a near fall. Kofi was tagged in, and after some swift bending the rules, the heels took control and beat him down a bit. However, the New Day hit some of their tag team offense on Orton, with Woods and Big E taking down the Revival. During the commercial, The Revival isolated Woods and started to work over his knee. At one point, Woods tried to hit his slingshot DDT, but Wilder caught him and tossed him out over the top rope, which Orton followed up by back body dropping him on the announce table. We went to commercial again, and Kingston received a hot tag as we came back. He Took down everyone, before giving Orton an SOS for a near fall. On the outside, Big E flattened Dawson with a lariat, while Wilder nailed Big E with a tornado DDT and then swept Woods’ leg, only to eat a dropkick from Kingston. He went for a suicide dive, but Orton intercepted him and gave him a hangman’s DDT. The heels then went for the RKO machine, but Big E pulled Orton out and pushed him into the post. Woods then took out Wilder with a Limit Breaker, and Kingston pinned Dawson after a Trouble in Paradise.
As the New Day celebrated, Brock Lesnar showed up! Things were very intense, but the crowd didn’t pop big. Lesnar and Kingston stared each other down, and Kingston told Woods and Big E to leave. Heyman then got on the mic, and said that Lesnar wanted to challenge for the WWE Championship, and they booked it for the Friday Night Smackdown premier rather than for a pay per view. Kingston accepted, and Lesnar gave him an F5, which was sold beautifully.
Grade: B+. The match was good, some fun action to open up the show. Love to see this show open up like that. Plus it was a pretty decisive victory, and feels like the feud is probably over. I was only going to give this a B, but I was really excited for the challenge from Brock Lesnar, although the crowd gave 0 craps. I think it was really fun, and is a huge main event for the first Fox show. Very good opening this week.
Sasha Banks & Bayley Interview: Banks responded to Becky Lynch’s challenge inside Hell in a Cell.  Then Baylyey hopped in and said that although Banks was fighting Charlotte tonight, she didn’t want to talk about it. This promo was weird and kinda overdone. It was odd, just odd.
Erick Rowan Sit Down interview: They gave Rowan his first name again! Fun. Michael Cole conducted the interview. He asked about Luke Harper, which Rowan responded to by saying if he wanted to know his story, talk to him. Then Cole asked about the attacks on Reigns, to which Rowan said he wanted to scare him. Cole loudly exclaimed “You tried to kill him!” And Rowan told him to watch his tone. Rowan then said that he was sick of being disrespected, so he took the chance he needed. Cole asked about why Rowan betrayed Daniel Bryan, and Rowan said that Bryan disrespected him. This was short, and all I could think about was how Cole was asking super biased questions. I know journalism, and this was bad journalism.
Ali vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: Before the match, Sami Zayn demanded respect for him, since he is in a lot of pain. He hyped up Nakamura, and introduced him. He then told Ali that although he beat Nakamura a few weeks ago, he’d lose here. Ali was very nervous as Nakamura and Zayn surrounded him. Ali attacked Nakamura first, but Zayn held his leg and allowed Nakamura to attack him. Nakamura took Ali out with a Kinshasa. The match did not start.
Grade: B. Fun little fight to get Nakamura over a bit. He and Zayn are fun together. This was effective and short, very efficient. I liked it, But it sucks that Ali had to be sacrificed here.
Shane McMahon backstage: Owens walked into the building, took a seat in the audience. Shane was going to take care of it, but one of Owens’ lawyers served him. Huh, alright.
Shane McMahon promo: Shane came out wth a whole bunch of security guards, and the papers. Shane told Owens to get in the ring and tried to settle it there. So Owens walked to the ring, but security stood between him and Shane. I guess the lawsuit was wrongful termination, worth 25 million. Shane called the case weak, but Owens said that it was strong. Owens pointed out that when he was fined for attacking a referee (Elias), but Shane didn’t fine himself when he attacked Owens’ last week, while he was the ref. He then said that even with the ref in his corner, Shane couldn’t win, and tapped out. So now, Owens just wants to hurt him, and wants to hit him in the wallet. He also said that part of the suit was that if he wins, he will be able to fire Shane. Then Owens walked out as Shane looked at the suit.
Grade: C-. Why is Owens supposed to be badass, and yet he solves his problems with lawsuits? If he was a tough as nails son of a bitch, like Steve Austin who they are desperately trying to model him after, he would’ve walked right through security and beat Shane’s ass. A lawsuit isn’t awesome or exciting. But given that I enjoy soap opera stuff, I can’t bring myself to give it lower that C-. I think this is damaging to the badass Owens, but I’m kinda intrigued. This could be an interesting storyline, but I doubt anyone else will agree.
Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks: Some guy come out, who I guess was a rapper. I think he is the Ric Flair drip guy? Maybe? I dunno. He just brought out Charlotte, and then fist bumped her. Bayley came out with Banks, and actually helped distract Charlotte and gave Banks control early on. When we came back from commercial break, Charlotte started to fight back with a series of kicks and chops to banks, finishing with a fall away slam. The two continued to fight, and Flair locked in a Boston Crab, but Banks pulled her into a rollup for a near fall. Charlotte then put Banks on the apron and kicked Banks to the outside. She then climbed to the rope and nailed both Banks and Bayley with a moonsault. She tried to capitalize, but Bayley held her foot, which got Banks a rollup for a near fall. Banks then tried for another, but Charlotte rolled through and went for the Figure Four, but Bayley ran in to attack for the DQ.
Bayley and Banks continued to beat up Flair, but Carmella showed up and superkicked Bayley, who looked shock. Flair got the last hit in on her, and the faces stood tall.
Grade: B. Another pretty good match, but I bumped it up just a bit into a B because of them establishing Bayley’s next challenger. Carmella makes sense considering how much the fans like her after the R-Truth stuff, but that doesn’t mean the match will be great. We will have to see about that. But I think that Charlotte should’ve lost here, just to give Banks some momentum. People need to get wins to get over, and Banks could use a real win.
Baron Corbin Coronation: He put on the whole getup as Corey Graves raved about him on commentary. Corbin then got on the mic and put himself order. Then he brought out Chad Gable, and made some short jokes. Corbin said that he was just like the fans, because he will always come up short. Gable then slammed him through the throne and beat him with the scepter. Gable then ripped up the cloak and smashed the crown.
Grade: D+. I really wanted to like this more, but I am worried about what destroying all the props means. They may just ditch the king gimmick this time around, and that would suck. I also hated the short jokes, those are stupid. I’m fine with these two feuding, and I’m fine with the one short joke where he “dreams big but comes up short,” but the rest of it was bad. I really hope that King Corbin is still a thing, because that’d be a waste of a tournament.
The B-team vs. Heavy Machinery: Tucker and Curtis Axel started things off. Tucker just tossed Axel around for a bit, and the B-Team (who I think are heel now?) double teamed him a bit and tried to keep him on the mat. Knight got the hot tag after rolling over Bo Dallas’ back and delivering a huge lariat. Otis then got hot tag, and he was in trunks, which looked very.... different. He beat up Dallas a bit and they hit the compactor for the win.
Grade: C+. Squash-o-roony.
Daniel Bryan Promo: He quickly crapped on the fans for accusing him of attacking Roman Reigns. He said that he still didn’t attack him, and declared himself exonerated. Then he said that he saw Rowan and realized that he had talent and took him under his wing as Tag Team Champions. He saw Rowan as his equal (yikes) and treated him as a friend. Rowan then came out, no Luke Harper in sight, with a mic. He said that he never felt like an equal, he felt like a puppet. Bryan never asked what he felt about things, and said he wouldn’t be disrespected. Bryan then told him to do something about it, because he already destroyed their friendship, and he couldn’t do anything worse. So, Harper ran in from behind and they kicked Bryan’s ass a bit, but then Roman walked down as Bryan was hit with an Iron claw. He dodged Harper and gave Rowan a superman punch and beat him down, but Harper quickly got ahold of him and they beat Reigns up together. They double powerbombed him into the post, and tore up the padding to expose the concrete. Security tried to stop them, but Harper kicked their asses. Then Rowan grabbed a section of the barricade and nailed Reigns with it, before clearing the announce table and giving Bryan a double high cross through it. The heels stood tall as they closed out the show.
Grade: B+. This was a fun segment that was pretty exciting, and seems to show where things will go from here. This is almost a Daniel Bryan face turn, but I don’t think he has fully turned face just yet. He is gonna probably be kinda heel until he and Reigns have a tag match against Rowan and Harper. This was a really fun segment, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes. Highlight of the night.
Overall Grade: C+
Pros: 6-man tag; Nakamura beat down; charlotte vs. Banks; ending beatdown
Cons: lawsuit angle; coronation

TWEWY: Final Remix - Thoughts
So, I’ve more or less beaten Final Remix now. I’ve beaten the main story, as well as “A New Day”, and while I still have to play through “Another Day” and get the Secret Reports, I think now is as good a time as any to type up my thoughts.
Since the original story is ten years old and I’ve played it dozens of times, I won’t be discussing the plot of that too much. However, I will discuss “A New Day,” so I’m going to put the rest of this under a cut as well as spoiler tag it just so that no one ends up seeing anything they don’t want to see.
To begin with, Final Remix as a whole.
First, I do think that there are some legitimate criticisms as far as the gameplay goes, and those criticisms stem from the fact that SE clearly ported over the iOS controls instead of building from the ground up to make something that would work with the Switch. While I understand that the Switch doesn’t have dual screen capability, that doesn’t mean they couldn’t have implemented the JoyCons in small ways when playing in handheld mode (such as using buttons for the Tin Pin Slammer whammies), or that they couldn’t have found a better way to utilize Neku’s partners rather than treating them as pins. The motion controls when playing in docked mode can be a bit wonky as well, and in particular I personally found Joshua nigh unplayable in that mode. Moreover, there are certain areas where the gameplay is not intuitive at all, where a bit more assistance would have been helpful. Namely, the giant bat boss in Week 1, Day 3 was changed to compensate for the fact that there aren’t two screens, but you are not told what you need to do to launch Shiki to the top screen, so you’re screwed if you don’t figure it out on your own. Likewise, Tigris Cantus was changed to compensate for the lack of two screens, but you’re not told that you have to stand in her shadow to allow your partner to attack her directly during the third phase. These two bosses caused me way more frustration than necessary as a result.
All of that said, though, I do think that a lot of the freaking out I’ve seen about the controls is a bit of an overreaction. The reliance SE had on Solo Remix was a detriment to Final Remix, to be sure, but the controls just take some getting used to. This can be difficult for seasoned TWEWY players such as myself, but with a little bit of practice it’s not that bad (particularly in handheld mode). Even when it comes to Tin Pin---yes, it sucks that you can’t use the buttons for the whammies, but if you know that ahead of time you can train yourself to quickly tap the whammies. Takes some practice, but the original Tin Pin Slammer did as well. You just have to retrain yourself.
Moving on from that, I do think that the majority of the remixes were absolutely fantastic. However, there were some . . . bugs? . . . with the music in certain areas. Such as: When you first meet Shiki, “Deja Vu” starts playing, taking over “Despair”, which rather ruins the mood of the moment considering Neku is still panicking about the Noise that were attacking him. That wasn’t the only place where there was some musical dissonance, but it’s one of the first ones I remember off the top of my head, particularly because it was so jarring I looked up a video of the original DS version of that moment to see if I was right in remembering that it was off (and I was). I’m not exactly sure why SE screwed with the music like that, but I wish they hadn’t. The remixes are great, but we didn’t need which track plays where screwed to that degree. (Though that said, for those who don’t like the remixes, you can switch back to the DS OST at any time in the settings menu. I’m not sure if that fixes the musical dissonance that sometimes occurs or not, but that’s an option. So there’s no real excuse to have “I hate the remixes” as a reason for hating the game when . . . you can disable them.)
Overall, while there are a few minor things here or there that could have been better, I don’t think that any of this is a reason to discourage people from buying this game, particularly when it has been said this is our last shot at a sequel. These are all petty, minor inconveniences---they’re not enough to ruin the experience, in my opinion, particularly for a brand new fan who won’t be blinded or have their opinion marred by nostalgia.
All of that said . . . “A New Day”. Oh boy.
I think the biggest weakness of “A New Day” is that it was too short, and left way too many things unanswered. This is obviously to leave room for the sequel (which we now have a reason for; there was no room for a sequel before, but now there definitely is), but at the same time it’s also a little frustrating, especially considering the very good chance that we won’t get a sequel due to it not selling well enough in Japan (which is Nintendo’s own fault, by the by, because I was actually in Shibuya this past August and I saw no advertising for it anywhere---literally, I passed by Tower Records and I heard Splatoon 2 music playing, but I didn’t hear a single note of TWEWY music, wth), and people in the western fandom telling curious people to buy the DS original or iOS ports instead. The idea that we might not get any answers to any of the questions raised (and that Neku might just stay dead forever, I guess) is really frustrating to me, but I guess in Nomura’s defense he couldn’t have planned for that, so. It is what it is.
Nonetheless, there are a lot of questions raised. Why was Shinjuku erased? Is it erased for good? How is that affecting Shinjuku in the RG? How are Noise appearing in the RG in the first place? (I actually wrote a fic where that happened once, though I only got about two chapters in with it.) I can say that I’m not at all surprised that Coco is actually a Shinjuku Reaper. I always felt that she didn’t really fit with Shibuya at all, ever since the iOS port first came out and I first saw her. She just doesn’t look like a Shibuya Reaper, you know? But she does look very Shinjuku. I can’t really explain it, but the fashion and vibe in Shibuya is just different from Shinjuku, particularly since Shinjuku (contrary to what is said in TWEWY) is actually the high class fashion center of Tokyo. Like, Shibuya is filled with teenagers and all that, but Shinjuku is where you go if you want expensive fashion. So while I’m not saying that Coco’s outfit looks very expensive, I am saying that the fact that her fashion is so different from what we see in Shibuya in TWEWY definitely makes the fact that she originates from Shinjuku make so much more sense. I’m really glad that was clarified in “A New Day”. But that said, that doesn’t explain how she got to Shibuya’s UG to begin with (particularly since I thought that Reapers couldn’t travel between the different UGs), nor does it explain how she can summon a Noise big enough to swallow a city, or create illusions like she did, or use the Taboo Noise refinery to revive Minamimoto . . . there are too many questions here. Way too many questions, and we don’t have answers for any of them.
That said, although I do feel that it was too short, and though I feel that scrambling the map was done less because it made sense for Coco to do that, and more because they wanted to create some artificial length (because if you don’t know how to get to each location, you’re going to spend way more time randomly running around than you otherwise would), I did still enjoy it. The highlights for me were:
Seeing development in Neku’s relationships: Right off the bat, Beat was ready to form a pact with Neku again, and Neku was ready to do the same with Beat. They didn’t even question it, despite how they (understandably) questioned everything else. Not only that, but Beat screamed and reached for Neku when Neku was shot again right in front of him, and I can only imagine how devastated Beat must be right about now. If he didn’t need some therapy after the Game (and he did---they all did), he definitely needs some after seeing his best friend be murdered right in front of him. Then there’s Neku’s relationship with Shiki. One of my favorite parts is when he saw her in Eri’s body again, and his immediate reaction was, “No, that’s not Shiki. That’s not what she really looks like.” I made a post about it before, but one of the best things about Neku’s relationship with Shiki---one of the things that makes it amazing---is the fact that Neku doesn’t truly warm up to her until she drops the Eri act and starts acting like herself. Neku was never impressed by Eri’s looks, and he certainly isn’t impressed by her bubbly attitude; if anything, that annoys him. But Neku cherishes and loves (whether you see it as platonic or romantic) the real Shiki. And so the disappointment he showed when he saw her in Eri’s body---the fact that he doesn’t want this “fake” Shiki, he wants his Shiki, the real Shiki---was extremely heartwarming. I also loved how casually he agreed to go with her to pick up some thread to repair Mr Mew at the end. You know that’s an errand that has nothing at all to do with him, but he just wants to spend some time with her. That’s really cute. ♥ We didn’t get to see very much of it, but I liked what we saw of Neku’s relationship with Joshua as well. I always found it odd (and perhaps a little forced) that Neku said he trusted Joshua at the end of the game. Joshua is someone who repeatedly lied to, used, and murdered Neku. Whatever his reasons for it, Joshua has made it abundantly clear time and again that he will put his own motivations above Neku’s well-being, and he will not feel sorry for it. So while I of course understand Neku not forgiving Josh, I could never understand Neku trusting him despite that lack of forgiveness. If anything, I thought it should be the other way around, that perhaps Neku would forgive him after understanding where he was coming from, but would still not trust him. Either way, I was glad to see in “A New Day” that Neku doesn’t quite trust Joshua as much as he claimed. When he realized that Joshua would likely have some explanation about what was going on, he chased him down. He refused to back down at first, not believing that “Yoshiya” wasn’t playing him. When he had a vision of Joshua potentially shooting him, he thought of that as a very real possibility. All of this points to the fact that it’s less that Neku does trust Joshua, and more that he wants to, and that he’s still feeling pretty conflicted over it. Which, all things considered, is extremely understandable and IC. Finally, Neku’s relationship with Hanekoma has always been one of my favorites, and I was so happy about the little glimpses we witnessed here. I used to write fics where Neku saw Hanekoma as a father-figure (without explicitly saying as much), and where Hanekoma basically adopted him, so I honestly felt like this part of “A New Day” was written for me, haha. The bit where Coco started insisting that Hanekoma was untrustworthy, and Neku turned away from her (as he often does with those who annoy him) and insisted that he trusted Hanekoma more than anyone warmed my heart. Hanekoma, despite Coco’s interference, doing his best to help Neku and get him to WildKat, warmed my heart. And at the very end, where Hanekoma asked “What about Neku?” because he knew Neku’s fate? That, too, warmed my heart. We all know that Hanekoma, at the very least, does hold affection for Neku given the final Secret Report of the original game (“I am glad to have had the chance to meet you”), and I”m glad to see that carried over here as well. Hanekoma is worried about him, and I really want a sequel to see what, exactly, Hanekoma does to help him out of this situation he’s now going to find himself in. (Playing the Game again . . . this time with Pi-Face as his partner . . . RIP, Neku.)
Joshua’s characterization was deliciously on-point. I know that so many people disagree with me on this one, and that’s fine. Everyone can have whatever opinions they want. But from what little we saw of Joshua there at the end, I felt that he was 100% IC---and given how much Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance butchered his characterization, this was so, so refreshing. The thing about Joshua, which I noted above, is that he’s not a sentimental person. He’s a pragmatist. He sees the bigger picture and he puts his own motivations and goals above the well-being of others. Joshua is a person who murdered a teenage boy in cold blood twice, a smile on his face in each time, because he wanted to use said teenage boy as a pawn in a game of life or death. Joshua is a person who was willing to erase an entire town because he felt the citizens weren’t living up to their potential. Joshua is a person who isn’t merciless, and he’s not evil or cruel, but he does believe the ends justify the means and he has little patience for those who would whine about it. He originally chose Neku because Neku was the epitome of everything Joshua hated about Shibuya, the absolute worst person that Joshua could find (that also had suitable Imagination), and though Neku’s development and growth as a person changed Joshua’s mind about erasing Shibuya, that doesn’t mean that he grew attached to Neku on a personal level the same way that Hanekoma did. I know that many people took the Secret Ending of the original game to imply that he was emo about not joining Neku and the others, but I just rewatched it and, honestly, nothing gave me that implication. If anything, it’s vague enough so that you can interpret either way (that he’s either upset about not joining them, or that he feels they’re wasting their time---because after all, Hanekoma says, “Hey, it’s their world. They can decide what to do with it”), but I’ve personally always felt that the “Joshua is a lonely sad boy who just wants to be friends” was more wishful thinking on the part of the fandom versus what we actually see in Joshua’s characterization. Moreover, even if part of Joshua does care about Neku to some degree and wants to be friends with him and others (and again, that’s part of him), he’s still going to value the bigger picture over Neku as an individual. If Neku has to die again to get the job done, so be it. If Neku isn’t necessary for what Joshua has to do and ends up dying as collateral damage, so be it. He might not be exactly happy about it, but ultimately Joshua is here to play the long game, and Neku might not factor into that. In fact, judging by his “I don’t need him anymore” comment at the end of “A New Day” (which makes sense, because since Joshua’s Game with Megumi is no longer running, he has no reason to restrict himself to the RG and thus does not need a proxy to play for him), I’d say Neku doesn’t.  Either way, I was really, really glad to see his proper characterization return. As I said, I felt that he was terribly OoC in KH:DDD, which actually led to me returning the game halfway through because it pissed me off so much, haha. Joshua is one of the most complex, fascinating characters I’ve ever seen in a JRPG, particularly with how he wasn’t swayed and won over by The Power of Friendship™ there at the end, and I was delighted to see that return. All in all, if you really want to know how I view Neku and Joshua’s relationship post-Game, here’s a fic I wrote a few years ago of the two of them interacting, featuring Neku’s lingering trust issues, lingering anger over what Joshua did to him, and Joshua’s lack of patience for what he sees as Neku’s pity party and inability to see the bigger picture. (Oh, and also Joshua teasing Neku and needling him to piss him off on purpose. Irritating Neku will never stop being one of Joshua’s favorite pastimes.)
Neku’s Imagination giving him additional ESP. Because what were those premonitions if not ESP? Of course, all the Players are espers to some degree, but Neku had the highest Imagination of them all, which is part of why Joshua chose him as his proxy. We been knew about this for ages, but seeing Neku have premonitions of the future---even if they were partially given to him by Hype-chan---was still very cool. Considering that Noise are not appearing in the RG as well (RIP to weebers girl), I wonder if his premonitions will continue in the next game, should we ever get it. Oh, and speaking of---Shiki mentioned having a feeling that something awful was going to happen right after (or before?) she noticed the tear in Mr Mew’s seam. While that’s not as strong of a premonition as what Neku experienced, it’s still extrasensory perception, and I like that she got some of that as well, that it wasn’t just Neku being the most special boy as per usual. Because after all, as I said, they’re all espers to some degree.
The foreshadowing that Coco was controlling everything was also on point. Aside from the fact that she looked so out of place and her insistence on going along with Neku and Beat was odd, the fact that Fake Shiki and Fake Rhyme changed their behavior just so to match with the feedback that Coco got from Neku and Beat was subtle, but juuuust enough for a perceptive player to catch, and I really enjoyed that. (For instance, after Neku mentioned that “Rhyme” was acting awfully distant toward her brother, Fake Rhyme started calling Beat “big bro.” There’s also the fact that Kariya and Uzuki’s personalities were swapped, and that Coco said “isn’t this how they are?” meaning that her information about them was second-hand . . . and another point to the fact that she was the one behind everything. Oh, and the fact that Coco doesn’t know what Shiki really looks like, and thus Fake Shiki looked like Eri . . . and Coco wouldn’t have known Shiki’s true motivation for her entry fee, hence the “I forgot,” and so on.)
All of that said, aspects that I didn’t enjoy (length and cliffhanger aside) as much were . . .
Fridging both Shiki and Rhyme (or, well, their fake selves) was unnecessary. In all honesty, as much as I love Beat and his friendship with Neku, I think that “A New Day” was a wasted opportunity to not have Neku partner with Rhyme. We never got to know what her play style was in the original game, and she’s the only one of Neku’s new friends that he never got to partner with. She’s just as capable of a Player as any of the rest of them (arguably more so given how clever she’s shown to be despite her age), and we barely got to see her personality or characterization in the original game due to how early on she got erased. Although “A New Day” was short, I would have really liked to partner with Rhyme for it, to see how she and Neku interact on their own, and to see what kind of play style she brings to the table. I’ve always headcanoned that she used psychs outright like Neku (i.e. a variety of pins), but I wonder what Nomura always envisioned for her. I would have liked to see that. Aside from which, not only did we already go through Beat’s despair over having Rhyme erased in the main story (which means that going through it again here was a re-tread of what we literally just got done seeing), but I also felt that both his and Neku’s reactions were . . . extremely underwhelming. Beat cried and attacked the shark, but otherwise he got over Rhyme being erased a second time pretty quickly. As for Neku, he goes from shouting, “Don’t you touch her!” at Beat at the end of the third week in the Game when Beat goes to knock out possessed!Shiki to just sort of . . . accepting that Shiki was erased without really caring in “A New Day”. There wasn’t even really any drama about it at all, despite how she was his primary motivation for fighting during weeks two and three. So not only were they erased for the sake of manpain, but they were erased for the sake of manpain that was barely explored, at that, especially since Neku and Beat thought this was real at the time and thus had no real reason to get over it so quickly. (And I mean, I get that Coco had that happen because she didn’t want Neku and Beat to figure out that Shiki and Rhyme weren’t real, which they were pretty close to doing, but still. Doesn’t change the fact that it felt unnecessary for the most part.) And honestly, I’m really not kidding about the wasted opportunity re: Rhyme. I would have loved to have partnered with her. Why we couldn’t have that instead I’ll never understand. (I mean, in-universe I suppose that Coco might have chosen Beat because he is notoriously stupid, but like . . . come on. Let us partner with Rhyme, SE! We’re not asking for a lot, here!!)
The whole bit with “Yoshiya” wasn’t explained and felt out of place. As much as I loved Joshua’s characterization, Yoshiya is another story. The over-the-top stuttering was bad enough, but there’s also no real explanation for why he behaved this way. At first I thought that perhaps this was a time travel plot and that this was how Joshua was before he died and ended up becoming Composer, but not only was that not the case, we have no explanation for why this did happen at all. Why would Coco believe Joshua acted like that? What reason did she have for thinking that? He was so far out of character that, looking back, it’s really jarring. (Still, I’ll take Yoshiya over KH3D “Joshua”, so that should tell you something about how I feel about KH3D.)
We never got a real name for Hype-chan. It’s been all these years and we still have nothing to call her but “Hype-chan,” smfh. But no, really, what’s her name? What’s her story? I want to know and yet I may never find out. This kills the Scrawlers.
All in all I did enjoy it, missed opportunities and raised questions aside, and I really want the sequel. Here’s hoping we manage to squeak enough sales to get it. It would be nice. (Especially since the fact that the sequel would likely be made especially for Switch should mean that the control issues would be smoothed out. One can only hope.)

Never date a newly single man
I always have the best damn luck wth messing with newly single people. It's always the ones who's working it out with their ex or working "it" on their ex. I get so tired of feeling like that guilty pleasure. Not the good one but the one you use when your spouse aint looking. Like looking at porn on silent knowing damn well we all watch it to hear the noise. You want it but too scared to do it. Until one day you grow some balls. So recently i messed with this boy I use to know. We had became acquaintances through a mutual friend. I Wanted him before but at the time he had a man or a situation and I don't do niggas in situations. So my messy ass seen that he said he was single on Facebook for a couple of days now and decided to like a couple of photos.Hours later he inboxed me. You know with the same pick up line every nigga use. The " hey stranger long time " line. Then I use the same corny ass come back line. "No you a stranger not me". We caught up throughout the day texting and talking and laughing. I mentioned I seen he was single and asked himif he was okay. He said "yes fuck that nigga. I need to focus On me and my dreams.I'm finally free".I said "I hear that lol.got to do what's best for you ugly". Then the flirting began per usual and we decided that we should pre game at his house and go to the club that weekend . I was hype. Lord knows I shouldn't of been. Lord story short that Saturday came and it was time to get ready. Mind you me and him chatted that Monday. So I was planning what I was going to wear and everything.I made my way to Brooklyn to go meet him at his house. I'm not telling y'all where in Brooklyn. Got off that 494738394 hour long ass train ride and walked to his house . He opened the door shirtless. My mouth dropped for second but then I picked it back up real quick. I said " eww put a shirt on ugly". He started laughing. Lord knows nothing about that body was ugly. So we talked and played music and talked some more then tapped the Henny bottle and started taking shots. It's reasons why I don't do henny. Henny is Viagra in a bottle. Certain music came on and we started singing along. Once freaking r kelly half on a baby came on I started singing every word. That's my shit. So he started laughing and I pushed him telling him to hush. Then we started pushing each other then looking at it each other more and he started to lick his lips. I kept looking down and away. Anyone that knows me knows I do that to stop thinking about how im about to make a bad decision. So he pulled my face and we begin kissing. I promise you I never felt softer lips. I pushed away and said "are you sure?" And he begin kissing me with tongue. If it was a camera in that living room I would of looked at it and smirked . He took my hand and We left the half way finished bottle and cups in the living room and made our way to his room. All I had in my head as I was walking is the rupaul meme saying DONT FUCK IT UP. One thing lead to another and I pushed him back. I wanted to show him my skills. ( WARNING ITS ABOUT TO GET EXPLICIT) So I started to slob on his dick so sloppy as I let the spit from down from the head of his dick and catching it before it reaches the balls. He was looking in amazement.Eyes rolling back and everything. I felt like I was pinky in a porn shoot. Mollywhopping that dick.So I begin licking up the base sucking each side until I got to the head. Then suck it repeatedly as he grab the back of my head. He was in heaven. Head heaven. He made me feel like my skills was porn star level. He pulled my head up and said " chill before you make me bust bro". Before I could comprehend what he said he threw me on the bed and turned me on. He rested my legs on his shoulder as the whip cream and chocolate was right next to him. He planned this shit out he know what was going to happen.and he started pouring some down my thighs and catching it all with his tongue slowly on each side of my thighs. Lord I was in heaven. Trying not to make my legs to the earthquake shake. Looking like Beyoncé and dance for you. Then he sprayed whip cream all up and down my leg and slowly lick it off getting every drop of it as i grab my head. I didn't want this shit to end. I was in the moment. In the grove. Then he flipped me over and pour chocolate on my cheeks and other parts and licked it clean. He was ready to devour my chocolate ass.Hold my legs down so i don't run from that good eating. Here's the fucking kicker ! Then all of a sudden someone begins banging on the door like it's the cops.we both jump. Then he tells me to continue laying down he going to go check. So I'm laying there smiling. I'm about to get some and tell my friends how I got some. Wrong. The next thing I hear is his ex boyfriend walk in talking about he miss him and let's try for real this time. I'm laying there like this can't be happening. This a fucking prank. I guess his ex turned around and seen the Henny and the cups and started going off. Talking about " who the fuckkkkkk you had over here ?!?! Is he still here ?!?! Bitch come out ?!??" Part of me wanted to go out there so bad but for what ? I don't fight over men. So as they was arguing and fighting . I gladly put on my stuff in the room and went down the fire escape. Almost died do that shit my clumsy ass. Finally get down and as soon as I get down. He bust in the room and you can hear him tossing and turning shit over. I'm walking to the train pissed because I ain't get none. More pissed because it's 2 in the morning and Brooklyn trains be acting up after 8:39pm. So I'm guessing he left his house and he kept calling me and texting me. I didn't answer. I felt like a fool I should of known that was going to happen. A week pass by and what do I see on Facebook they are back together smh. Moral of the story besides niggas ain't shit is don't mess with newly single man they always end up going back.

crush stories p1 (💕tell me about your crush 💕)
My crush is tiny and has the fluffiest hair, but his voice is deep and sometimes it gets even deeper when he’s laying down. He’s cold and hard on the outside, but he’s just insecure. His skin is v soft and v warm. He likes staying up at night, and his voice when he’s whispering is honestly the best thing ever. We’ve spooned and cuddled and he’s napped on my lap and we’ve fallen asleep holding hands but, unfortunately he’s in love with one of his best friends. Hurts, but it’s worth it :’))
ohhhh he seems so ideal and all of that sounds so intimate i’m sorry it can’t work out :’( i hope you find someone else ♡
So my crush is really short (even shorter than me) she’s overall really tiny but she has really big hands that are always cold and since mine are always hot I need to warm them up all the time. She has the prettiest hair and really pretty blue eyes. She always looks so beautiful even when she just woke up fkdk she is pretty quiet but when she’s with me she can get really loud lmao sadly she hates to cuddle but sometimes I can get her to do it xd She always let’s me talk because she knows ppl like to ignore me but she still sucks at listening and sometimes i talk for 10 minutes without her even noticing dkdkssk she has an asshole of a boyfriend who really doesn’t deserves her but she never listens to me :( she works too hard all the time what causes her to “fail” more often what really makes sad also she sucks at taking care of herself and I have to feed her or she would die I’m pretty sure xd BUT EVERYTHING ABOUT HER IS SO CUTE
NO THIS WAS SO NICE UNTIL THE BOYFRIEND PART but awwww regardless she’s still so lucky to have you and she sounds beautiful
My crush is a boy, he has curly black hair and a little beard. He is verry tall, about 25cm taller than me. He is very smart, and funny, but a little shy. We don’t talk so much as we used to do. I see him sometimes in tuesday, wednesday and thursday. I started to like him in 2014 I wish i could talk to him more times or tell him that i like him, but i’m shy too. I’m planning to declare myself at the end of next year, wish me luck. (English is not my first language , i’m sorry if its bad :))
i like guys like this fjkdnjfnjksn woww that’s such a long time to have liked someone ,, but good luck!! i hope it all ends up well and don’t apologise, your english is fine :’)
My crush is so pretty. It’s me
your crush did that??? i love it
My crush is stupidly idiot. No joke, i don’t even know why i like him so much??? I mean, before it was different, we were always together and he always made things that made me smile and always made my heart go faster. Now i see him almost never, and when i do, he’s a jerk :)))) OH MY GOD WHY IS MY HEART LIKE THIS???? Stupid him, stupid me :((( #SadStory
oh no :’( i guess it takes time to get over people sometimes especially if you have good memories with them but this one reminds me of the Most Cursed crush i had on this guy i at the same time hated just because i knew he liked me lmao HE WASN’T EVEN CUTE RIP
the guy i have a crush on… it’s been two years and he still makes my heart skip. like we met in junior year and he was the sweetest and our personalities are v v similar and i just.. he had a girlfriend senior year that he absolutely adored and even though it sucked, every time he spoke about her.. his eyes would light up and i couldn’t but selfishly wish i was the one he spoke to other about like that. but i still supported their relationship bc seeing him happy always made my day. but..  they’ve broken up and he seems like he’s over her and yet.. i’m still scared to tell him how much i like him. he has the prettiest crystal blue eyes and his smile is so cute! he’s done things in the past that suggest he may have some kind of feelings for me (sending me a random snap of me in our shared math class and telling me i’m beautiful.. we even have on going joke that we’re married) and honestly… i know i’m rambling but he still makes my heart race and i’m too scared to tell him. 🙈
two years is a LONG time aww this is so cute ;; i’m familiar with this situation lmao i don’t know how long it’s been but if you want advice i’d say that with someone’s who’s just come out of a r/s it’s best to take your time,,, so as not to pressure them just in case they’re not completely over their ex but you know him better than i do so you can ignore me!! whatever happens i hope it goes well, i’m supporting this ♡ ♡
My crush is vv sweet and nice, He’s a lot taller than me (but I’m tiny), and has tae’s facial structure and nose but joon’s eyes and lips. He’s really smart and I look up to him a lot. At the same time he’s a flipping dork that’s into memes and weird cringey shit. His face is really squishy and adorable, especially when he laughs it’s the cutest thing in the world to see his eyes squint closed and his (thicc) lips stretch wide to show his cute braces. Ah man I think I’m in love
and i think i’m in love with your love wth he really does sound like the cutest thing in the world,, this is so pure fdjjnfjm i hope you guys end up together, if there’s a chance ofc ♡

The #1 Indicator of a Successful Hire
In the last three years, IMPACT has grown from 23 people to a team of 65. And we’re not done growing.
We didn’t pick just any 42 people to add to our team. We were, of course, extremely intentional on hiring for culture and skill.
Last year, as I moved into my new role as VP of Services, I became much more involved in our already established hiring process for recruiting top-performing marketers. It became my responsibility to staff up our services team, which comprised the majority of the hires we did last year.
Over the course of 2018, I interviewed well over 500 people. It’s crazy to think back on it, honestly.
When my parents would ask me how work was going and what I was doing, for 6 straight months, my answer was, “Good, just doing a lot of hiring.” Actually, I’m still saying that.
That’s an insane amount of interviewing, but we’re selective for good reason: to keep our culture intact and to provide the level of service our clients deserve.
I wish I could say I got it right every time. Spoiler alert: I didn’t.
When reflecting back on where I went wrong, I began to seeing a strong recurring theme.
No matter how smart, how personable, or how experienced an applicant is, they will fail 100% of the time if they lack self-awareness. Period.
You Can Do Everything Right...and Still Get It Wrong
At IMPACT, we are vigilant in iterating on our hiring process to make sure we continue to hire great folks.
We’ve been diligent in attracting the right candidates. We’ve thoroughly researched the right marketing interview questions to ask. We’ve solidified a strong hiring process.
IMPACT isn’t the first place I’ve ever worked or the first hiring process I’ve been apart of. I’ve worked for one of the top professional employment organizations (PEO) in the country, which has incredible talent and a process of their own.
However, when I went through IMPACT’s process as a candidate and now as someone on the other side of it, I’ve been blown away at what a small team of people has been able to develop.
Every detail is thought through. We even survey every candidate that doesn’t get hired to keep getting better.
Despite sharing what we’ve learned, we continuously iterate our process.
I recently wrote about an exercise Natalie Davis, our VP of Talent, and I did to learn from some of the mistakes we’ve made in the past.
The gist of it was assessing and verbalizing the positive traits of our team, and the negative ones that some of the employees who have left in recent years shared, to determine the best questions to ask and how to test for these traits in our hiring process.
In doing this exercise, it was clear the most positive trait our team shares...and we weren’t actively looking for it in our hiring process.
Having a beautiful hiring process and asking good questions isn’t enough. We had a gaping hole in the whole thing because we weren’t listening for the key indicator of success.
Until we began emphasizing what we were really listening and looking for - self awareness - every hire was a gamble.
A True Story: What Happens When You Don’t Hire for Self-Awareness
Here’s an example of how not looking for self-awareness came back to haunt us.
We hired someone early last year who was super active in our Facebook Group, IMPACT Elite. This person had gone to our booth at INBOUND to meet us, interacted with our team on social media, created really great content, etc.
They were a marketing superstar, so when they decided to apply at IMPACT, we were pretty excited.
Despite their great reputation, I still went through our typical hiring process with this person.
I had assessed their skill level to be lower than that of most our team, but because they were so passionate and connected to our team already, we offered a position and salary according to their skill level, and set the expectation that this person was working their way into the full role.
Culturally they seemed like a great fit, so I (pompously) felt we could teach the rest.
This person left their old job, started with us, and the first two weeks went fine. They were doing basic onboarding tasks, so no red flags jumped out immediately.
As it became time to work on billable work, that’s when things came crashing down.
This person struggled when a process or template wasn’t provided to them. They couldn’t finish their work on time and weighed their team down who had to cover for their low velocity.
But the biggest problem they had: they didn’t think they contributed to their own issues.
It was everyone else’s fault why they weren’t able to finish their work and contribute to their team. They had tough clients. They didn’t have clear enough instructions. They weren’t onboarded well enough. Name any excuse in the book, this person said it.
As it became clear the excuses were just that -- excuses -- I felt like an idiot for hiring this person, and also weirdly betrayed.
Running the hiring process is akin to dating. I thought I had gotten to know this person. I thought we were on the same page that they had room to grow and needed to put in the work.
Then they start on this team and totally bomb. WTH?
But upon further reflection, it wasn’t on them though. It was on me.
I missed all the signs or quite frankly, didn’t look for all the signs to show that this person would never grow because they already thought they were better than they were, and could not take feedback.
It was unfathomable to them that they could be a reason for their own failings.
A Bad Hire Goes Beyond Financial Pain
Every leadership/hiring article out there states the financial implications of a bad hire.
What they don’t say is how much it sucks when it’s your responsibility to hire a great team and the second and third order effects of when you fail to do so.
First and foremost, I drained our team’s resources by having them spend time interviewing and then training a bad-fit hire - not to mention all the documentation they had to do when we knew we needed to make a change.
Secondly, I prolonged the amount of time it took to get my team the help it needed. Not only did that particular team have to cover for this hire while training and later firing that person, they had to continue to do so while I went back to the drawing board to get them some help.
Thirdly, I wasted my own time. I could have been working on more proactive and helpful projects for the company and instead, I spent another few months interviewing again and again.
Lastly, that bad hire was a person - a real human with a family, with bills, with goals. I helped put them in a position where they now had to worry about money and what they would do next in their career. That weighs on me more than anything.
I hate all of those feelings, and they could have been avoided if I’d prioritized self-awareness the way it needs to be in the hiring process.
So how do you do that, you might ask?
How to Test for Self Awareness in the Hiring Process
Think of all the opportunities you have to learn about your job applicants throughout your hiring process. You most likely have a few of the stages below:
The application
Initial interview or screen
Full interview
Hiring activity
Final interview/Job offer
If your process is more in-depth, you probably have a few additional interviews with the team or the manager of the new hire thrown in as well.
This is ample time to learn about a candidate.
Just like inbound marketing and conversion forms, you can ask deeper questions as you move along the hiring process.
For example, the application may not be the best place to ask your really tough questions. In a way, you could scare off bad candidates, but you could also come across the wrong way and scare off good ones too.
However, you can ask something to reveal the level of self-awareness of your candidates in each stage.
Application Phase
In our online application form, we don’t go right out and ask “Are you self aware?” We actually don’t ask anything that explicitly comes across as such.
What we do ask is for a candidate to check all the tools and tactics they consider themselves experts in - yes, we purposefully use the word, “expert.”
If a candidate checks every single box...come on. Not even Bob Ruffolo, or Marcus Sheridan can say they’re in expert in everything.
That’s a red flag for us.
We also note if they check off things like HubSpot, yet have no HubSpot experience listed in their resume or they admit they aren’t well-versed in another application question. If their experience contradicts the application, that’s another red flag in self-awareness.
Initial Interview/Screen
If you don’t do this stage, read this section anyways and figure out when to incorporate the following type of question.
To avoid inadvertently coaching our current job applicants how to ace the interview with us, I’m going to provide a question we sometimes ask, but not always. I have another question I always ask that yields similar results as the one I’m providing here, but you can get the premise.
I like to ask the candidate to describe something that made them uncomfortable at work in the past.
An example of this is “Describe when you had a bad boss or co-worker.”
I don’t care that the person had a tough boss or backstabbing co-worker. What I want to hear is how they describe the situation and if they take any responsibility themselves.
I also want to hear personal growth from the situation - and bonus points if they acknowledge after growing they realize that it really wasn’t that bad of a situation and they were too short-sighted to see that at the time.
If all I hear is complaining about someone else with no self-reflection or development from it, that’s another red flag.
Full Interview
We treat our full interview as basically a culture interview.
We ask a little bit about marketing, but knowing we do an activity next that makes it very clear to us if a candidate knows their craft, we can maximize this interview to make sure it’s worth everyone’s time to continue.
In this half hour interview, I have 8 questions that I ask every time, knowing I will ask follow up questions to their first response and dig as deep as a I can to make sure the candidate can thrive in our environment.
All 8 questions are culture-related questions.
This often feels weird to the candidate, but we tell them upfront what kind of interview it is and that we will ask very little about their marketing experience. I strongly suggest you do as well if you shift how you run your interview to get in front of candidate concerns.
I touched on one of those questions in a previous article. To summarize here, we ask, “Describe a time when you were tasked with something you didn’t know how to do and how you overcame it.”
Believe it or not, I’ve had someone tell me they’ve never not know how to do something in a job…
via GIPHY
In their response, I listen for the following:
Can they think of a time when they didn’t know how to do something? (Eliminate them if they can’t.)
If they can, did it take them a really long time to think of it? (If so, this is usually a red flag for lack of self-awareness. Be mindful though that they could also just be nervous.)
Did they take meaningful steps to overcome it? (Major bonus points if they took what they learned and taught others in the company.)
The Hiring Activity
Regardless of what you do for a hiring activity, my favorite way to snuff out self-awareness here is to ask the candidate to critique their own work.
There’s no magic trick on how to do this. Simply asking for their opinion of themselves and how they did can reveal a lot about how they see themselves.
After hearing their personal assessment, I provide feedback and gauge how they take it. If I hear lots of excuses or things like “normally I don’t do it that way,” type of responses, that’s a good signal they may struggle in the self-awareness department.
Final Interview/Job Offer
We’ve had candidates do a great job up until this point.
They’ve interviewed primarily with me, someone they see as a leader in the company, yet when they get to the final stage, which is actually a peer/team interview, this is when lack of self-awareness can creep out.
We’ve seen this manifest in a few ways:
The candidate is super lackadaisical with their team, giving the impression they only cared to look good to the “boss” and are in it for themselves.
When they are with their peers and their guard is down, they admit they don’t know as much as they said they did. This sounds good at first for self-awareness, but if they didn’t realize lying upfront would be an issue, then that’s as low in self-awareness as you can get.
They beg and campaign for the job to their peers. What sounds like excitement at first crosses over to lack of self-awareness of the whole point of the interview - to allow the team to get to know them and to give them a chance to know their new team. Instead they look like bullet #1 - self-serving and don’t show a genuine interest in others.
Walking away at this last stage could be really hard to swallow. You’ve made it this far in the process with a candidate. You’ve spent a lot of time and maybe even money if it’s an in-person interview, but don’t lose sight of the fact that it’s still just that -- an interview.
You need to be willing to walk away at all stages if you sense any red flags in self-awareness.
And if you have read this far and still aren’t sure why....
Guard Against Lack of Self-Awareness Like Your Business Depends on It...Because It Does!
There are plenty of ways you can develop your own test for self-awareness. The most important thing is you do test for it.
If someone can’t see themselves as having any faults, they are un-coachable.
They are the ones who become stagnant while everyone else grows past them.
They are the ones who poorly represent your business.
They are the ones who make your managers run in circles, deflating their resolve.
They are the ones who create counter cultures.
They are the ones who run your good talent out of the company.
You must weed them out of your current team and prevent anyone with lack of self-awareness from every joining your team again.
The future of your team and business depends on it.
