So, I cannot show support to Palestine at my university (flyers for protest, the colors and the flag, you get it...) because it's "encouraging violence and antisemitism" but when my university was tagged with antisemitic symbols, they did NOTHING. When the students union was targeted with threat of violence and their office was destroyed, covered with neo-nazis symbols, they did NOTHING.
The Neo-Nazis student association (which has been multiple times reported for their hate-crimes) were distributing flyers at the entrance yesterday WITHOUT ANY ISSUES, because they support Israel.

During her speech before demonstrators in New York, author and journalist Naomi Klein condemned Israel's crimes against Palestinians, asserting that Zionism has strayed from Jewish values and stating, "Zionism is a false idol that has betrayed every Jewish value."
“We don’t need or want the false idol of Zionism. We want freedom from the project that commits genocide in our name,” she added.
The demonstration, held just one block from the residence of US Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, resulted in the arrest of hundreds of protesters. This event coincided with the Senate's approval of a $95 billion foreign aid package, which includes approximately $17 billion in arms and security funding for Israel.

So long as the political and economic system remains intact, voter enfranchisement, though perhaps resisted by overt white supremacists, is still welcomed so long as nothing about the overall political arrangement fundamentally changes. The facade of political equality can occur under violent occupation, but liberation cannot be found in the occupier’s ballot box. In the context of settler colonialism voting is the “civic duty” of maintaining our own oppression. It is intrinsically bound to a strategy of extinguishing our cultural identities and autonomy.
[...]
Since we cannot expect those selected to rule in this system to make decisions that benefit our lands and peoples, we have to do it ourselves. Direct action, or the unmediated expression of individual or collective desire, has always been the most effective means by which we change the conditions of our communities. What do we get out of voting that we cannot directly provide for ourselves and our people? What ways can we organize and make decisions that are in harmony with our diverse lifeways? What ways can the immense amount of material resources and energy focused on persuading people to vote be redirected into services and support that we actually need? What ways can we direct our energy, individually and collectively, into efforts that have immediate impact in our lives and the lives of those around us? This is not only a moral but a practical position and so we embrace our contradictions. We’re not rallying for a perfect prescription for “decolonization” or a multitude of Indigenous Nationalisms, but for a great undoing of the settler colonial project that comprises the United States of America so that we may restore healthy and just relations with Mother Earth and all her beings. Our tendency is towards autonomous anti-colonial struggles that intervene and attack the critical infrastructure that the U.S. and its institutions rest on. Interestingly enough, these are the areas of our homelands under greatest threat by resource colonialism. This is where the system is most prone to rupture, it’s the fragility of colonial power. Our enemies are only as powerful as the infrastructure that sustains them. The brutal result of forced assimilation is that we know our enemies better than they know themselves. What strategies and actions can we devise to make it impossible for this system to govern on stolen land? We aren’t advocating for a state-based solution, redwashed European politic, or some other colonial fantasy of “utopia.” In our rejection of the abstraction of settler colonialism, we don’t aim to seize colonial state power but to abolish it. We seek nothing but total liberation.

Here's Pixriffs' full post today along with links. ID/transcript under the cut.
Doctors Without Borders / WFP / MSF / IFRC
Today's Minecraft Survival Guide episode has been postponed in solidarity with a global movement calling for a ceasefire and end to hostilities in Gaza.I've been watching the violence unfold through the lens of media here in the UK, and conversations with my partner and friends - and while I try to keep my online presence light and entertaining, I don't want to turn a blind eye to this situation and I encourage anyone with a conscience to do the same.To be absolutely clear, I condemn the violent actions of Hamas and the rise of antisemitic sentiment in the wake of these events. With the same voice I condemn the disproportionate and shocking mass violence the government and military of Israel has brought to the civilian population of Gaza in their retaliation, the restriction of aid from Gaza with its continued assault, and the rising wave of islamophobia in the West Bank and elsewhere.
On December 8th the UN Security Council voted almost unanimously to demand a ceasefire in Gaza. Only two countries dissented - the UK, which abstained from the vote, and the USA, who blocked the call for a ceasefire with their power of veto. The last successful exchange of Israeli and Palestinian hostages came at the previous ceasefire, and with it came an opportunity for organizations to reach displaced Palestinian civilians with aid. Now any further ceasefire is looking increasingly unlikely, with humanitarian and aid organisations like Doctors Without Borders (MSF) calling this "a vote against humanity".
In recent weeks my partner and I have contacted our local member of the UK Parliament, who has been pushing for the UK to support a ceasefire and humanitarian aid access to Gaza. I encourage you to contact your elected representatives, and donate to aid organizations the UN World Food Programme (https://www.wfp.org/), MSF (https://www.doctorswithoutborders.ca/), and the Red Cross and Red Crescent (https://www.ifrc.org/), who are working to provide assistance to civilians on both sides of this conflict.
I recognize it's a huge shift from light-hearted family-friendly Minecraft videos to messages like this - but having seen the amount of families affected by this conflict, families who deserve a chance to raise their children in health and in peace, I wanted to share a message of compassion. I hope for a lasting and meaningful peace and will continue to support organizations which are working towards that goal. Survival Guide will return on Wednesday.
Much love.

...yes... you read that right. a fucking playground.
reported by Al Jazeera, from Call 2 Action Now, 16/Apr/2024: caption under image
Tumblr media
At least twenty Palestinians, including children, died in Israeli strikes in central Gaza. Witnesses say a group of children were playing near the Maghazi Nuseirat refugee camp when the attack happened.
The camp is densely populated and has become even more congested after thousands of families were forced to flee their homes in Gaza’s north after Israel began its assault on the enclave.
Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud, reporting from Rafah, said the attack on Maghazi took place during “rush hour”. He said the attack hit a playground that is frequently visited by displaced children.
“Dozens” of wounded people have been transported to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital, Mahmoud said.
This is the true face of the Occupied State of Palestine (OSP), deranged, murderers!
Keep the pressure on and do not stop until we see an immediate, permanent ceasefire!

Zionist have also harmed the reputation of every Jew on this planet.
My concern is that people have difficulty to differ between a Zionist and a Jew.
Zionists are no Jews. They miss use the Jewish faith to justify genocide, child rape and land theft. They openly give hate speeches, they consider them selfs better than the non Jews animals, also white Jews are better than Asian and much better than African Jews.
Jews are not like that at all. They want to practice a peaceful religion with coexisting with other believes in harmony. This behavior that 80% of Israeli have has nothing to do with Judaism but with racism equal to that Jews revived from the third Reich.
So if Zionists have painted a target on every Jews back, please don't punish Jews for it.
There are Jews for a Free Palestine too!

Palestinian woman says Israeli forces raped and killed women at al-Shifa...
Please watch this. Listen to her horrific descriptions, this is actually HAPPENING to people as the world leaders continue this so they can get more money in their pockets. This should make you restless, this should make you speak out and make every action you can.
We can't let them get away with this.
