I'm not sure how I feel about this AFO having manipulated Kotaro all the way thing. Including how the reasoning for having another child sounds like Enji's reminiscence of Fuyumis.

Mmm, I feel like it was long speculated that AFO gave Tomura the quirk, and tbh the broader involvement doesn't seem that off to me. The moment with him convincing him to have a kid is weird writing. I feel like AFO acted as Kotarou's friend and pushed him in the right direction when needed, while it is almost written as if AFO is a master manipulator. Though maybe AFO does believe it all is his doing, and Kotarou never made any decisions for himself

It might feel awkward cause we barely have any conversations between them, just bits. I think if we had at least one longer convo, it would be clearer what was the relationship between them. It really does feel like Kotarou was going on secret dates with him

I think it is more believable that AFO was a "bad friend" who encouraged his messed-up parenting and gave advice that benefitted him but not that AFO is playing 5d chess with everyone's life

With the Fuyumi thingy. Idk, maybe it's just a cliche phrase? I sometimes give a doubt about language barrier and etc. Like, when I talk with my husband, we both think having siblings is better because you have someone to play with and aren't alone. Even if you don't get along with people outside your household, you have someone roughly your age to hang out with. Maybe this sort of thinking is what Horikoshi means by "supporting each other". The repetition is lazy though, he could have wrote it a bit differently. Like "Oh? Your wife suggested having another child? You should totally go for it! Hana would love having a little brother/sister". It doesn't really matter what arguments AFO would give in support of having another kid, it doesn't change the story

i don't really get nana haters who use her leaving kotarou behind as something against her like she's a bad person for doing that. you can make unfortunate decisions and still be a good person. like what the fuck else was she supposed to do? can i remind you that she was being hunted down by a maniac who was literally killing OFA users' entire families and all of their associates just out of pettiness AND already had her husband killed? why is she the bus driver for not seeing any other way to ensure his safety and not AFO for being a freak?

'she wants deku to erase her mistake' - no, she doesn't want to ADD to her mistake and sacrifice another child to try and fix the first one. i thought caring about not accidentally killing kids for our righteous causes is a good thing?

i don't know where this 'she wants izuku to kill shigaraki' narrative came from either because it was shown multiple times that no, she does not actually want that. in fact, she very much WANTS izuku to save him. but she's someone who always puts aside her own wishes for the sake of the world and other people (in this case, izuku's life).

It's in the way that Kagura calls him Gin-chan, and in the way the Shimura siblings call him Gin-san. Tama calls him Gintoki-sama. The Shinsengumi (especially Sougo) call him Danna. Hijikata calls him Yorozuya even after the reveal of the White Demon moniker. [He judges Gintoki on his present deeds and not the past and that alone can fill pages]. Umibozu acknowledges him as Kagura's earth parent and Kamui refers to him as Kagura's brother, Abuto lumps him with the rest of Kamui's dysfunctional family. I love how everyone in the series spoil Kagura.Gin went out midnight in cold winter just to bought her meat bun,hijikata gave his small plate to her in Yagyuu arc,Sarutobi gave her high scores despite she messed up her ninja exam just because she was upset,Zura always plays along with her ideas n calls her leader,and the umbrella episode with Gin and Shinpachi is one of my favorite...... SHE'S LITERALLY THEIR LITTLE SISTER I LOVE THEM 😭😭😭
