This potential Ganon dub is real bad. I hope it’s placeholder audio for this trailer.

#legend of zelda #tears of the kingdom #ganondorf #no disrespect to the voice actor #it’s more an issue with the overdubbed voice acting style in general #it’s a hard job with anime because you have to deliver lines to preset mouth movements #but it tends to sound less natural as a result #modern games record voice talent and then animate lip movements to match the performance #this is key to localizing game audio #but all that technology and process can't help if voice talent is ultimately directed to sound a certain way #game development

Alright so I had a dream last night… that I was playing Tears of the Kingdom (Breath of the Wild 2)

And in my dream the game starts with this opening cut scene showing views of Hyrule.

And then a voice starts talking, and he’s narrating the events that happened between BotW and TotK (or something)

And the camera pans over and we see that the person who’s been talking the whole time is actually Link.

Listen, I know damn well Nintendo won’t do it, but if they did? Can you imagine the Chaos?

Anyway I’m manifesting this idea and you can’t stop me.

Here's the very first fun fact that you didn't know about me so far. I'm also a rookie voice actor who's been starting out by doing voice overs on twitch streams that my friends run.

There's always going to be a time where you'll screw up your lines accidentally; and yes, voice acting is a difficult path to take on; when I first started it was in a stream for a certain game that placed me on the path.
