You cannot convince me otherwise that they didn’t do ghost themed colors for their wedding. I seen the wedding photo from the show but I’m having fun with this here. Also Aunt Alicia would totally rock a waistcoat at their wedding don’t @ me to debate here.

Most notable Starkid cast members?
Starkid has had a lot of different cast members in their shows through the years and I started wondering who has been in the most shows and how many shows someone would have to be in for them to feel like a "proper" Starkid. I could have looked up to see if anyone has compiled this information but instead I decided to do it myself!
I went through the cast lists of all fourteen live stage shows they have uploaded to their channel (so including VHS Christmas Carol but not Nightmare Time or any other digital series) and here's what I found:
(behind a read more because this got looong and also so you have time to guess which actors have been in the most shows!)

Then there are a handful of people who have only appeared in one or two shows, most notably Bonnie Gruesen, who played Hermione in the first two Potter musicals, Will Brenner, who debuted in Nerdy Prudes Must Die, and Mariah Rose Faith, Angela Giarratana, Curt Mega, Kim Whalen, Kendall Nicole Yakshe and Bryce Charles, who have all appeared in two or more Hatchetfield projects.
A couple of observations:
Some of the actors listed have also been involved behind the scenes, with Nick Lang writing almost every show with his brother Matt Lang, and Jeff Blim and Clark Baxtresser writing the music for several shows.
I was shocked that Rachael Soglin has only been in three Starkid shows but I guess it goes to show that the size of the role also plays a part in how much of a "Starkid" every actor feels.

And your hair, such a long, soft purple with white streaks. It would look so beautiful in my hatbox. I’ll take good care of it, fufufu~ Sadly, there simply is no time to catch up, for he is coming. And that devil... he is quite unpleasant, I'm afraid so.”
If you would like to participate in this essence, don’t be shy! This essence is a part two to the Barriere Hotel packages! Because of this, you can find everything to do with this essence underneath the [hotel] tag, and therefore, please use [hotel] in your ask! Also, while some of the titles use gendered terms like "men", they can be any gender! An oddball. Collecting the heads of different spirits and sealing them inside his hatbox, something about them seems... wrong. He doesn't seem to have ever been human... almost like he's pure spiritual energy.

A descendant of the Gracey family. She ended up on the Barriere Hotel's grounds due to a mysterious letter simply addressed to one "Master Gracey".
The Hitchhiking Ghosts
A pair of three hitchhiking ghosts. It's said they were taken before their time, and aren't ready to depart from the living just yet... and they follow no master.
The Head Chef | ???
A hot-tempered ghoulish chef who follows the orders of the Hatbox Master. They harbor a particular hatred towards the "Host", becoming an explosive ghost at the mere mention.
The Searcher | ???
A lost soul, torn in half by the "Host" and left to permanently wander the ghost realm, sobbing in sorrow. They follow no one, too confused to realize there is a path to be desired.
The 5th Dimension | "Ba'al"
One of the few sentient locals of the 5th Dimension. The title sounds familiar... but you can't put your finger on why?
A Sanguine Gaze | "Sanguine"
A follower of the Hatbox, "Sanguine" is loyal to the master who rescued her from an eternity of blind suffering.
My Flannel Lover | Diane Winter
The dearest friend of Sophia, and a dear friend who recently went missing...
Visions of Fog | Leona Romans
The ancestor of Lucien Aliceson and a medium bridging the ghost realm with our own. She was granted with the power of visions.
The Phantom 5
A quintet of traveling ghost musicians... with powerful, hypnotic ghosts. They are followers of the "Host"... and are quite a tricky gang too.
The Stretching Portrait: The Tightrope Walker | Margret "Margie" Misfortune
A melancholy soul who died in a bad accident, orchestrated by the "Phantom of the Manor"... She is trapped within the depths of the manor and has placed her trust in the Hatbox.

A humble, shy gentleman, yet... a bit pathetic, and clumsy. He does not like people, asides from his little sister, his only ally in this cruel world.
The Stretching Portrait: The Three Quicksand Men The ??? Siblings
A trio of three siblings, illegitimate children to the Misfortune Family. They were condemned to the quicksand pit by their father to keep the "pristine" nature of the Misfortune Family... and have been forgotten by nearly all of history. Billy might have expected to hear talk like that come out of a cheated whore on a bad day, but not out of an obviously gently bred omega. They were called doves for a reason. All that soft speech and cooing they did. Unsure if he hadn’t gone momentarily insane Billy looked around, finding that the sheriff and Ms Buckley wore twin expressions of shock, Hopper’s eyebrows had even shot up and disappeared into his hat.
The detective was the only one not wearing an expression of surprise, but something worse in Billy’s opinion. There was an amused smirk spreading across Walker’s face that made humiliation burn in Billy’s chest, and he gripped the reins in his hand tight with anger. The omega was still glaring back at him with an unaccountable amount of fury considering that Billy was risking life and limb for his benefit and all he’d asked was for a little quiet while he got on with it; and Billy imagined wrapping his hands around that lily white throat. He was starting to understand why someone had paid to have him killed.

EVENT : spring punishment
It’s been a very strange week, even by island standards. For days, it has felt more like a prison than a school. Slaves showering in awkward silence under the watchful eyes of several guards; students paddled publicly in the quad for minor missteps; and everyone, everywhere, wondering: will someone come forward?
Friday passes with no fanfare, and then, on Saturday morning...
Slaves are awoken long before dawn by guards shouting and banging on the cell doors. They’re dragged unceremoniously from their cells and forced into chains; claimed slaves, too, are removed from their homes, with or without their master’s consent--and they’re not the only ones. The administration is taking action against masters, too--or at least against all those masters who have shown themselves to be too sympathetic to the slaves plight. In the wee hours of the morning, masters who do not meet The Institute’s standards have been dragged out of their suites and homes, chained, and, in the case of supernaturals, bound.
It seems no one came forward to take ownership of the sabotaged lottery--and now much of the island will pay the price.
DETAILS:
A mass punishment will take place over Saturday, April 22nd and Sunday, April 23.
All slaves (claimed and otherwise) and all masters the administration considers too soft have been separated into two groups. Group A will be punished on Saturday; Group B will be punished on Sunday. The group lists can be found under the cut.
The group being punished will be stripped naked except for blindfolds and earplugs, and chained spread eagle around the quad. Guards patrolling the quad will be equipped with whips, paddles, and floggers, and instructed to deliver punishment at regular intervals.
Those masters who do meet The Institute’s standards are invited to visit, punish, and play with them as they please. Masters may remove the blindfold or earplugs if they wish, but both should be returned when they’re finished, to allow future visitors their anonymity.
Those being punished will receive a single ten minute break to use the facilities and drink water. Breaks will be staggered so the quad is never empty. They will not be fed.
Group A will be held in the cells overnight and when they are not being punished; Group B will be held in the ballroom. Those being punished are welcome to thread with the other members of the group on their ‘off’ days.

In game, this mass punishment will take place over Saturday and Sunday, April 22-23.
The event will last from Friday, April 21, 10:15pm EST, through Sunday, April 30, 11:59pm EST, out of game.
The dash WILL be paused for the duration of the event. Non-event threads should NOT be posted.

Character Transparent Folders
When a character reaches a certain number of files, I have been putting them into according to their outfit or variation in order to prevent the character folder from becoming messy and making it difficult to find what you're looking for. The ask I had regarding Avery prompted me to go through every book folder and have a look at characters where this may need to be the case. Now the following characters have now been sorted into outfit folders, along with the characters who are already sorted into outfit folders.
I have not included Rory Silva, Skye Crandall, and Logan from Ride or Die as I need to finish their folders. But once I have, they will also be sorted into outfit folders.
In the case of Adrian, Gaius, Jax, Kamilah, Lily, Rheya, Cas, Gabe Adalhard, & Bastien, they are organised into Vampire and Werewolf eyes folders instead of outfits. And in regard to Kyra & Dakota, they are organised by their hair.

at eight incurred a cross thinking of Miss Walker had been musing about her for an hour before – rainy morning at 6 but fair and fine when I got up – down at 9 ¼ to Mr. Henry Bates of the firm of Bates and son of Washer lane and paid him by check on Rawsons his bill of £191.15.0 for wheel and other work done at Mytholm mill – he then sat talking politics and country news above an hour – keeps 40 men in constant employ – he or his son will be glad to shew me over their workshops – breakfast with my aunt at 10 ½ - staid talking to her till out at 11 50 Dick having just finishing walling and sodding up banking in my walk sent him to do the bit of trenching for planting in the b of Wellroyde upper brow cut off by the new Godley road – then with John Booth getting up lilies of the valley etc. in the garden sauntered about while he got his dinner and helped down with the plants in the hand barrow and waited in the walk till he came back from H-x at 4, and then with him while he planted out the lilies etc. and removed a good seized holly from the front of the hut to fill up part of the old line of walk in Lower brook Ing wood - Charles and James H- here today - mossed roof of hut door and bench of ditto and overhanging branches of propped trees moveable bench done - perhaps not done today but before. – home at 6 ½ - dinner at 6 50 – afterwards read from p. 101 to 104 Sketches of India, and came into the little room at 8 40 and wrote the above of today read over tonights’ courier came upstairs at 10 – my aunt tho’ better these last few days has still spasms and says she feels weak, and different from what she used to do – fine day – F62° now at 10 5 -

Top 5 favorite NPCs for World of Darkness.
Oh, god... how do I keep this short????? And most of them are YOUR NPCs anyway! ROFL
(you really want 10, I know you do! :P )
Dresst - I know he's a canon character from the games whose name we changed so we could pronounce it, but he's absolutely AMAZING and White Howler and badass and and and... Plus, the adventure you sent Brigit on to find him was really FUN, even if she did walk right past him the first time! LOL
Audrie - HOLY HELL SHE'S SO CHAOTIC AND I LOVE HER!!!! A 'country girl' vampire? So hilarious, so over the top at times, so... MUCH! And I adore her for that because she isn't the stereotpyical vampire. AND, she'll talk to my wolves. Keiko may have a soft spot in her heart for her (B&B spirits notwithstanding), and Brigit ADORES her and that was before Audrie held up two ketchup dripping French fries to her mouth like fangs and said, "Hey, look, Brigit, I'm a vampire!" in the middle of O'Tolley's!
Vanessa - new, still learning about her, but she helped by boy Ciaran survive being hunted by the Black Spiral Dancers when he was thirteen and just going through his first change. AND she helped him a few years later when he helped Lily. Can't NOT like her. My kilt-wearing wolf is willing to take most of the grief he gives her while hoping he can help her and the Mokole in the process.
Devair - the prince of the city has to be one of the most eccentric people any of my characters have met! So Old School and yet could rip the throat out of an enemy without hesitation. Brigit, Keiko, Shannon, and Ciaran (do I have any other characters who've met him? I can't remember! lol) all think he's delightful...and are pretty certain they NEVER want to get on his bad side or meet him in a dark alley!
Okay, here I'm going to go for one for each of my individual characters because it's different for all of them: Brigit - Uncle Mike, end of story. Who else would have pulled an ornery teen from the orphanage and taken her in? Keiko - Through the Night Softly. Having him by her side when they escaped her grandfather's caern when it came under attack is the only way she would survive (as evidenced by the loss of her pack in that instance). Shannon - Buck, of course! lol Who else? Her chosen brother from childhood. He's as much a part of her family as Snarls and Ragnar are and always will be. (I mean...she hasn't given away his secret yet, has she? ;) ) Ciaran - Well, I already covered Vanessa, so I'm going to go with Mr. Calavichi. Kind of weird for a White Howler to like a Glass Walker, but when you're the head of a caern and such a high ranking Theurge, how can he not? I'm sure they'll cross paths more in future and Ciaran can learn more about him, but for now he has all the respect for him.
Honorable mention - BILL "the Bear"! If I had more space, he'd be right in there! LOL Brigit adores that old Garohl, and not just for saving her life on her first Rite of Passage, and Shannon has nothing but high praises for him! <3
Thanks for the ask - and for being such a great Storyteller for our games that these characters have all stuck with me so long and so well!
