Connect (Season 1)
TV Shows/Dramas watched in 2022
Connect (Season 1, 2022, South Korea)
Director: Takashi Miike
Writers: Masaru Nakamura & Ha-dam
Mini-review:
I was really curious about Connect, because I think Takashi Miike has never done a proper TV drama before, and that alone was an interesting prospect. It's not a mind-blowing show or anything like that, but it's definitely well shot and the acting is great (I particularly liked Jung Hae In's performance). The story itself is rather interesting, although sometimes it moves a bit too slowly. The cinematography is also very good and some scenes/shots are seriously memorable and disturbing. The last episode ends on a solid cliffhanger, so I'll probably check out future episodes if they make more.

You said you'd love only me. Lies. I truly have nobody else, but you've got others. I don't want to be one of them.

this random dude just about destroyed your livelihood and you’re NODDING, sir?
…to be fair, he’s probably thinking manji would cut him down…valid..considering…..
in conclusion this movie is one-quarter comedy; no one can convince me otherwise
