A Stray Cat in a Strange Place

AN: This is a platonic story. Just wanted to practice writing an original story. Also this is the longest thing I've written?? I just wanted to write about being a cat. I was inspired by someone else's post (their name is koisuko) and a manhwa I was reading that involved cats. Also this is I guess technically an isekai. This is part 1. I'll try to work on this when I feel like it. Hope you guys like it. I'll be posting this on Ao3 as well (skoomahawker is my account on there). Not proof read.

Part 2

Waking up in a world that seems familiar, but not at the same time. Your body was tinier than what you had remembered. Looking down you saw that you had paws? You appear to be a cat? So many thoughts were rushing through your head. Your stomach growled. Great, now you’re hungry. You had no idea how to even get food in your current state.

Roaming around a street you were looking for a food source. Hoping a friendly person would be caring enough to provide you food. Of course you could try to hunt something, but in your new body you weren’t exactly sure what to do.

Walking by a window you get the chance to look at your appearance through the reflection. You appear to be a beige looking cat though that could just be the dirt on your fur. Big azure eyes. You’re not sure what kind of cat you are exactly, but in your own opinion you look pretty adorable.

You start to walk again. Where are you even going to sleep? Wait, why are you even here? You got distracted by your own hunger to ask that question earlier. Why on Earth are you a cat? How long will you be in this form? How long will it take you to find food, or even a place to sleep?

With having so many dilemmas going on in your head your body is walking in auto pilot. Not paying any attention to your surroundings you bump into something. Well more like someone. Falling back just a little bit the figure in front of you seems concerned for you. The person bends down to pick you up.

“Elder Gods, are you alright my little buddy?” The man was observing you. You didn’t have a collar on, so he figured you didn’t have a home. It made him sad to see such a small kitten not in the best of shape. You meowed looking at him. What shocked you was this man had glowing white eyes with silver hair that was in a long braid.

He chuckles when he sees you just staring at him. “Are you hungry my little friend? Let’s go get you something to eat. Then I’ll get you cleaned up.” He smiled at you. This stranger has been one of the nicest people you have ever met. Trying to get comfortable you nuzzle into the man’s chest. You’re thankful that this man is now your savior. You close your eyes and begin to take a nap.

You don’t know how long you were asleep. Stretching you notice a plate with some cut up cooked fish along with a bowl of water. Slowly eating the food and drinking the water. You hear an argument going on in the background. You hear the voice of the man that picked you up earlier, but not the voice of the other man.

‘Brother, I must ask you why did you bring an animal back with you to the temple?”

“It needed a place to stay. Not to mention It’s an adorable kitten. I thought it may be good company.”

“How do you even know if it had a home?”

“It was wandering. Not to mention it looks famished. If you don’t want to help with taking care of it, then don’t. I shall raise the kitten, brother.”

After the friendly stranger said that he walks into the room you are in. He smiles. Looking genuinely happy to see you eating. The man’s brother sighs, and enters the room as well. He gave off a somewhat aura that seemed menacing towards you. You notice that his eyes look the same as your savior’s eyes. This man had on a hat that looked kind of stupid in your opinion.

“Fujin, do you even know what this cat’s name is? Or how about taking care of it?”

So your hero’s name is Fujin. That’s nice to know. Looking at the two men in front of you, you decide that maybe you should try to show the stranger that you mean no harm. Slowly walking over to the unknown man. You stop at his leg, and nuzzle it to show your friendliness.

Fujin looks kind of sad that you didn’t approach him first, but he thinks maybe you feel the tension between the two. The other man tenses at the contact of the nuzzling. He looks down to see you. Meowing happily at the two. He notices that you are covered in grime. Looking at his brother he begins to speak again.

“If you plan on keeping this cat in the temple. You must clean it up, name it, and anything else that may happen to it.”

Fujin agrees with his brother’s words. He bends down to pick you up. You look up at him meowing. Nuzzling into him. The unnamed man just watches how the two of you interact with each other.

“Now then little one. Let’s get you cleaned up. We also need to come up with a name for you too.”

Fujin, carrying you in his arms, leaves the room to take you to the washroom. He starts to wash the dirt away from your fur. The water is warm and soothing. He’s using some scented products to make you smell good. You think you smell some citrus in the shampoo he’s using. You hear him chuckle again.

“I’ve never seen a cat that likes water. You sure are one special kitty. Hmm?”

You look at him. You didn’t really pay attention to the way you were acting. You were honestly just relaxing right now. So far in this place he is the only person you trust. Well, you somewhat trust his brother too. You can understand that not everyone can take care of an animal, and that it takes a lot of responsibility.

He picks you up to dry the remaining water off of your fur. As he does this he begins to speak to you again.

“Raiden will come around eventually I believe. It may take some time, but my brother cares for the beings of Earthrealm. And wouldn’t you know my little friend, you are a being of Earthrealm as well.”

He smiles at you as he pats your head. He seems to care for you a lot even though you haven’t known each other for long.

Once you're all clean you realize that you have white fur. Unfortunately it seems that there is some damage to your fur, but Fujin promised that he would do all he can to help get it repaired. He walks you back to the room you were previously in. You come to find out that this room was his room where he stayed. Laying you down on the bed he begins to ponder what would be a good name for you. It’s been something he’s been thinking about since he met you.

“How about I say a few names, and you respond to the one you like? You seem like a smart kitten.”

Smiling at you. You meow in response as a ‘Yes’ to his question. He chuckles at your reaction.

“Well alright then, how about ‘Breeze’?”

You don’t react to the name. Just stretching out beside him. Awaiting to hear his next suggestion.

“That’s a no then, maybe ‘Thunder’?”

“Really brother?”

The man you now know the name of, Raiden, stands in the doorway with an unamused look on his face.

“Surely you can come up with a better name than that.”

Raiden continues to speak to Fujin, but not making eye contact with him. He is staring at you. He notices that you’re all cleaned up, and for a split second you swear you could see him smile, but it happened far too fast to actually tell. Fujin speaks up again.

“Well how about…”

You start to zone out a little wondering what will be your new name, and how will your life be now in this new place. Hopefully your life won’t be too chaotic.

Syzoth/Reptile x reader platonic

One thing I haven't done yet on my page is grace you all with platonic cuddles, aka the best form. For this, I have a very interesting story so enjoy !!! Word count:1K

You were visiting Outworld to see how Syzoth was doing since you all saved Earthrealm and the universe. But also you two missed each other, you both formed a close friendship during the time together. The others saw it too. With the help from lord Liu Kang, He was able to open a portal to outworld for you so you can see him again.

Syzoth has never been so happy to see his best friend again, He always thought about the fun memories you two shared together, To have you here in person again is the up most blessing by the elder gods.

"Hey Syzoth" You smiled when you saw him tending to his garden.

"Can I help... Y/n !!" He smiled incredibly wide when he saw your face. "It feels like it has been eons since i last saw you"

"I had the same feeling here bud" You looked down into his garden.

"Wow this looks amazing, what kind of plants do you have ??"

"I usually tend to the traditional flowers and fruits and vegetables, But I managed to get some traditional outworld plants courtesy of empress Sindel for helping her"

"That's nice of her, what kind of plant is it ??"

"So this one is called a cold lace flower, and this one is called a Scotus. The Scotus can make an exceptional tea once it's fully bloomed and extracted."

You knew Syzoth was a plant enthusiast and it felt like home to hear him talk about his favourite plants again. Inviting you inside to make tea. You caught up on everything that has happened in your life, Like how you recently got a job at madam bo's.

"It's a dishwashing job but at least I'm earning some pocket money" You smiled softly sipping your tea.

"That's still a tremendous accomplishment my friend" He smiled as he patted your arm.

But as he patted your arm you noticed something... More like felt something strange that radiated off of him.

"Give me your hand please ??"

Syzoth was confused but obliged, giving you his hand you gently took hold of it. It was... unnaturally cold, like he's been touching snow for a long time.

"Your skin is cold..."

"Ah yes, Because of my reptilian powers, I am cold-blooded. That is also one of the reasons I like to garden, so I can be able to warm my blood up."

Wow, outworld had it's surprises every single time.

"Are all zaterrans cold-blooded ??"

"Only some who possess the reptilian transformation ability, I'm the only one who posses both abilities."

But regardless of that, It made you appreciate him even more. Making Syzoth the person he is, But later that night you noticed that it was unnaturally colder than normal, your mind rushed to Syzoth when you put two and two. You saw him in the living room trying to warm himself up with blankets, But it wasn't working.

"Syzoth are you cold ??"

"It's fine y/n, I can manage" But you noticed he was shivering, He was really cold. You tried to find something to warm him up so you opened a fire and brought him closer. It worked a little bit but not a lot, so you decided on another idea.

"Open the blankets"

He then opened the blankets confused about what was going on before you sat down and wrapped your arms around him, snuggling up to him as you wrapped the blankets again.

"Is this ok ??"

Syzoth slowly smiled.

"It is perfect my friend." You noticed he leant into your touch. Seeking your warmth. Smiling you snuggled closer to him.

Syzoth liked this, It felt comfortable. It felt right, He was with you his best friend. He gently wrapped an arm around your shoulders and invited you closer. By the time the fire went out you two were off to bed.

"Are you sure your gonna be ok ??"

He stood there thinking for a bit, While yes he was warm now. there was something comforting when he hugged you, it made him feel warm and fuzzy inside. Like he was home.

"If you don't mind... can I stay with you tonight ??" He looked at you.

You smiled and nodded, inviting him into your guest room and climbed in, you opened your arms for him.

He climbed in and snuggled up to you, wrapping his arms around you. You doing so in return as well.

"Goodnight buddy..."

"Goodnight y/n."

He did not let go of you the entire time, Moments throughout the night he snuggled impossibly closer to you. If he could spend his life just hugging his best friend, he would take it up no problem.

The next morning you woke and saw Syzoth fast asleep, He looked so peaceful you smiled. Falling back asleep.

Cuddling has become a tradition for him every time you visit Outworld and see him, Even though he still won't admit he's a cuddly person. You can see how much this makes him happy, just being with you. His best friend in the whole of outworld.

One morning you woke up and noticed something heavy lying on your chest. What you saw made you smile wide. Syzoth got so comfortable with you last night that he transformed into his reptilian form and laid his head on your chest. It showed also how comfortable and safe he was with you. Running a hand gently over his scaly head, he softly leant into it even though he was still asleep.

Gently waking up and seeing you smiling, He transformed back to his human form but still snuggled up to you.

"Good morning my friend" He said tiredly.

"Morning Syzoth" You still gently ran your hand over his head, gently scratching his scalp as he sighed contently.

"Was I in my Reptilian form ??"

"Yeah... You looked comfy"

"I just felt nice and warm... and safe with you"

"That's what friends do Syzoth, They make each other feel safe and happy."

"I am forever grateful for our friendship y/n, I really am"

"Me too Syzoth, Me too"

Syzoth loved platonic cuddles so very much, He could hug you till the very end of time.

Mortal Kombat 2021 with a Platonic, Child Reader

Characters included: Cole Young, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Sonya Blade

Note(s): This is an 'AU' of sorts where they have more time to train and and Shang Tsung doesn't attack Raidens Temple.

This has been in my drafts for about a year now, enjoy!

Cole Young

Sleepovers with Emily? Yes. Absolutely. Cole and Allison get woken up at 5 AM by you two roasting Kano, he has to hold back punching the two of you because he knows that everyone in the Temple would make that personal.

When you're both training at Raiden's Temple, Cole always goes easy on you and views you as his own kid, he gets how finding your Arcana is difficult, especially when it seems like everybody else already has this figured out.

You probably don't have any fighting experience so he takes some extra time to help you, and while he can't teach you any deadly moves, mainly teaching you defense and how to knock out an opponent, he's still very helpful.

Cole gives you extras at dinner, it's not very sneaky, he doesn't even try to hide it. Cue the teasing from everybody else at the table.

If you have anxieties about the tournament he tries calming you down by reading a story, it helped Emily so he can only assume it will help you as well, even for your age it's childish, but it makes things melt away for a moment. There's no training, unfamiliar temple, or Outworld, just Cole and a story.

He gets a mix between anger and sadness whenever anybody mentions the fact you need to participate in the tournament, he's tried to convince Raiden to take you out, to no avail, it leaves him to spend more time with you, he's afraid he'll lose you when the time comes.

Has absolutely no medical experience, the best he can do is carry you to Liu Kang or other medics.

Liu Kang

Liu helps with your temper or anxieties a lot, he's basically always behind you putting a hand on your shoulder, and views himself as an older brother to you.

He's very sympathetic and will give you advice or just listen when you need it, no matter what situation you're in. Liu is extremely truthful as well, if you're in the wrong he will tell you but he'll let you down easy with it.

Liu has a watchful eye on you at all times, he visibly sweats whenever you get close to Kano, Kung Lao teases him for it constantly.

He's like your doctor, and usually won't take you to any other medic in the Temple unless it's necessary, if you're injured in any way he's helping you and you cannot stop him. That is if you ever manage to get hurt anyway, he doesn't let Kung Lao or Kano use their Arcana on you.

Actually your personal hype man, the living embodiment of 'you're doing great sweetie', regardless of how many times you fall over in training, he only counts the times you get up.

Speaking of training, he tends to use repeated attacks so you can learn how to defend against them more easily, he doesn't use his fire unless he's certain you can move away from it, and he's very unsure about using heavier attacks on you.

That's why he's mainly instructing a fight between you and somebody else, so he can set ground rules to keep you not injured while allowing you to learn.

Liu Kang won't talk to you about it, but he's had multiple arguments with Raiden over allowing you to be in the tournament in the first place. He believes that since you're a child, you shouldn't be risking your life. Raiden doesn't listen.

Kung Lao

Kung Lao is probably distant at first, he doesn't really know how to act around children, at least not as an adult. He shares the same opinion of all the chosen, you need to be taken out of the tournament, and while he won't say it out loud, he does back people up when the opinion is shared.

He's more willing to use his aracana and 'deadlier' methods of training, but he has such a control over his fighting style and hat that you've never gotten extremely injured. Anytime you do get injured, he picks you up, regardless of if the injury allows you to walk or not, and takes you to the infirmary himself.

He's not good at comforting words, if you're nervous for the tournament, the most he can say is that fate wouldn't have chosen you for this if it wasn't meant to be.

Kung Lao already despises Kano, but he makes one remark towards you and in his eyes he's about to be a dead man, Liu Kang has had to hold him back on a number of occasions.

Sneaks you extra, and makes some faces at the dinner table, it ends up making everybody else laugh more than anything, but their jokes at his expense make you laugh in turn. So, he technically didn't fail.

He's medically trained and can in fact help most injuries unless they're extremely fatal, like Jax's arms, and so most of them he can fix by simply walking to the infirmary and walking out a minute later, you with a bandaged injury.

Sonya Blade

Sonya is a bit annoyed that a literal child got a mark before her, but then she realises that means you'll need to fight in the tournament, and she proceeds to dedicate everything to training you.

Even if she's not technically allowed to train with you before she gets her mark, she does sneak out with you. While she understands it's not exactly her place, in the short time she's known you she's become attached, and she wants you to have every chance of survival.

As part of the special forces, she's an expert in all types of combat, and will almost definitely teach you how to kill, even if it weighs on her conscience that a child could have blood on their hands thanks to her.

Everybody already knows about this, but even Kung Lao decides to back off once he notices how much she cares for you.

Sonya will get violent with Kano the second he tries to mock or tease you, she won't go too far, but she's teaching him a lesson and she wanted an excuse for months to do so just let her have this one.

At dinner she's firm with your diet, making sure you eat more healthy options every time, which, makes everyone at the table laugh. She's not a complete control freak, she just understands that in situations like these what you're eating is very important.

She's not the best person to come to when you're injured, but not the worst, either, she's very calm unless it's a serious injury, and knows the basics of at least disinfecting the wound / putting pressure on it so it stops bleeding while she brings you to a medic in the Temple.

i really liked this prompt, so i wrote more than i thought i would by accident LOL

MACAQUE

- he may get a lil concerned at first, not understanding why you would fall asleep anywhere that isn't necessarily comfortable.

- after a while, he won't bat an eye, simply moving around you and continuing with his business, or making sure you're comfortable.

- if he turns around and you're just sleeping on the floor, he'll chuck a blanket on you, maybe a pillow or two (or even moving you completely if the position looked like it'd ache later).

- as much as he'll refuse to admit it, sometimes he'll hop into the shadows just to check up on you (he can't lie, he's terrified of losing you after making a new friend after so long).

- and if he finds you passed out somewhere that you probably shouldn't be, he'll carefully pick you up and move you somewhere else nearby.

- if you've decided to take a nap on a bench in the park, you'll mysteriously wake up inside Pigsy's restaurant, assuming that you must've started sleep walking.

- will definitely join you whenever and wherever you decide to conk out, if he's able to, though.

- depending on the strength of ur relationship/how long you've known each other, he'll lay down close to you.

- probably won't snuggle with you, but will move as close to you as he can, having some part of his body touching yours; like his tail laid over your midsection, or his arm against yours.

- he's most likely touch-starved in some way—monkey's are very social and affectionate creatures, and since his resurrection, he hasn't had the chance to cuddle up to, or rough house, with anyone, much less the other monkey's on Flower-Fruit Mountain.

- but he'd be reluctant to start anything, and wouldn't want to outright ask for cuddles, either.

- if you insist on it, though, he'll happily wrap himself around you in a warm embrace, reminiscing on the cuddle piles he and Wukong used to take part in.

The dark-shaded monkey dipped himself into the familiar darkness, joining the bitter shadows lingering in the cracks and crevices of buildings and people alike. He travelled away from the dojo, his usual place of hiding, and onwards to the theatre.

Macaque had planned to perform his usual shadow play, a sort of practice for the eventual time that the Monkey King's little successor would be lured there. However, he'd be lying by saying he wasn't enjoying himself—putting on a show for the local theatre had almost turned into a hobby for him.

As he emerged from the void he often travelled through, stepping into an alleyway next to his destination, Macaque felt one of his ears twitch. He picked up a noise he had grown familiar with, following the quiet snores after adjusting his cloak to ensure his identity was hidden from the public.

The anthropomorphic monkey rounded the corner, taking all but a few steps until he was stood in front of an occupied wooden-bench. He silently sighed, holding back a smile at the scenario he had been through all too many times.

You were seated, chest moving rhythmically with your calm breaths. Your head was uncomfortably leaned backwards at an angle, eyes closed, and mouth slightly agape.

You were clearly asleep; although, Macaque didn't know how.

He felt his heart swell at the peacefulness and innocence displayed on your face. He already knew that he'd do anything to protect you from the kindness you had shown him, but this just further encased that thought in his mind.

It took all but seconds for him to decide. The shadow play could wait and be performed later; for now, he'd focus on taking you home and ensuring your safety and comfortability.

He gathered you in his arms, positioning your head to lean into the crook of his neck and holding underneath your legs and upper back.

Macaque promptly fell into the shadows after a quick glance confirming that no one important would see. He held you tightly, understanding that these 'voids' of his were often too cold for most lifeforms, not wanting you to catch a sickness.

In less than a minute he felt himself 'pop!' back into existence, the familiar interior welcoming him back. Your house had always felt warm to him; not in the sense that you kept the heater on, but rather that it radiated a friendliness that drew people in. It felt very... Homely.

He navigated himself to your bedroom, which was practically muscle memory at this point. After gently placing you amongst the fluffy pillows and heavy blankets, he shed himself of the cloak he wore and lazily tossed it on the floor.

With conversant movement, Macaque took his place beside you in the bed, worming his way under the covers and wrapping it over you. He hesitantly lifted his arm, laying it over your midsection and pausing, listening for any hitches in your breath or signals of disturbance.

Once he was certain you weren't going to wake up any time soon, he relaxed into the position, unconsciously curling his tail over your leg under the blankets.

Macaque may have had plans today, but none of which were as important as taking a lazy day and napping with you.

WUKONG

- he totally gets it tbh

- if he could, he would be falling asleep anywhere and everywhere.

- he isn't too concerned about it, he figures that if you aren't worried about it, he shouldn't be either.

- refuses to ever wake you up, unless you are in immediate danger or if he desperately needs you for something.

- if you fall asleep anywhere on Flower-Fruit Mountain, you WILL wake up in a non-consenting cuddle pile with like, 20 monkey's.

- wukong may or may not also be in that pile (he totally is, out of jealousy).

- any time he finds you sleeping, no matter where it is, he'll join you.

- asleep in a tree? he's jumped up there and is already wrapping his arms around you.

- taken a nap in Pigsy's restaurant? well, looks like he'll surprise MK with a quick visit (where he's cuddling up to you).

- sleeping on a public bench? okay, maybe he's a little more reluctant to be that public about it, he is the Monkey King after all—he'll just move you both to a more private location.

- that may sound saucy, but it isn't, i promise <//3 he's just nervous of someone taking advantage of him in a vulnerable state and attacking you both.

- he LOVES his lazy days, and if you even entertain the idea of sleeping in, he will immediately be dragging you back under the covers to get some more shut-eye.

- honestly, you'll have to drag him out by his tail if you want to get up any time after, like, 10am.

- and, if he gets you too wrapped up in his arms, you aren't seeing the outside world until MK comes knocking at his door, asking about his lesson that was supposed to start 10 mins ago.

- this monkey is VERY cuddly.

- you don't even have to ask, and he'll be (NON-SEXUALLY!!!) touching every part of your body with his own.

- he loves feeling you against him, it really grounds him and confirms that his loved one is safe within his arms, and hasn't abandoned him.

Wukong was growing nervous.

You had told him you'd only be gone for a few minutes, planning on grabbing a few snacks for the movie marathon that you two had set up. Yet, it had been nearly an hour and there was no sign of your return.

When he realised his tail was unconsciously tapping against the arm of the couch, Wukong decided to investigate. Despite his comfortable position amongst the pillows, he lifted himself onto his feet and wandered towards the kitchen. If you were supposed to be collecting snacks, that's where you should be, right?

As he glanced around his familiar abode, he felt his heart drop at the lack of your presence. However, before he was able to begin panicking about your whereabouts and a possible kidnapping, one of his monkey's pulled on his pant leg to gain his attention.

With a few chirps and hand motions, Wukong realised that the smaller of the two wanted to lead him somewhere. If he knew his monkey's well enough, which he did, he'd know that this one must've picked up on his anxious behaviour and was trying to help. With this knowledge alone, the mystic monkey was willingly led to, hopefully, you.

It took all but a few minutes to come across a, rather large might he add, cuddle pile. And, in the midst of it all, was you, smothered by several monkey's clinging onto your form.

Despite the swelling of his heart to seeing his family and you getting along so well, he felt somewhat... irked. This was where you were the entire time? Without him?

Wukong was able to shake the feeling away, before stepping closer to the pile with the intention to join everyone. His entrance had woken most of the monkey's up, causing them to move further away from you to allow their King to take his place next to you in the middle.

From the appearance of it, he was left to assume that you had entered the kitchen and gotten distracted by the cuddle pile that had begun to form, unable to resist the temptation of sleeping. He wasn't surprised; there wasn't a week that had gone by where he hadn't found you asleep in some odd place.

He lowered himself next to you, gently wrapping your body close to his and folding his arms around you. His tail was moved around your leg. Gradually, he felt more monkey's placing themselves around him, further enticed by their King joining the cuddle pile.

It wasn't long before Wukong felt himself drifting out of consciousness. Your rhythmic breathing and the reassurance of your body pressed up against his created a calm atmosphere in his mind, surrounded by his loved ones. He had a feeling that he would need to cancel that lesson with MK, later, though.

- he is SERIOUSLY concerned when he finds you falling asleep one too many times.

- asks if you've been sleeping alright, how many hours you're getting each night, etc.

- poor boy thinks you must be stressed and lacking sleep, from prior experience of his own.

- when you tell him that you just... fall asleep for no reason, sometimes, he's... surprised, to say the least. you can tell he doesn't immediately believe you.

- gets even MORE concerned when he finds you in these weird locations and positions, some of which do not look comfortable in the slightest.

- might even ask Sandy for help, only to be told the same thing that you already told him.

- listen,,, he's just worried for his friend's wellbeing :(

- if you fall asleep in Pigsy's restaurant, he'll rush upstairs to grab you a pillow and some blankets.

- and he'll act as your guard dog, making sure no one disturbs your sleep by being too loud or by moving you.

- although, if anything, he'll be the one to wake you up—he can't exactly control his volume very well.

- If he finds you asleep somewhere outside, he'll probably take you to Pigsy's restaurant, but if it's closed, he'll just take you to his house instead :)

- honestly, i doubt he'd cuddle you at all, unless you were like, ultimate besties and asked him to cuddle.

- he'd be MEGA awkward about it too, but once he got comfortable, he would realise that he's a lil touch-starved and would revel in the feeling of his arms around you/your arms around him.

- if Mei walked in on you two cuddling, she would join you IMMEDIATELY join you, and you'd be stuck in a cuddle pile with them both for the next couple hours.

Before he's even found you, MK knows you've probably fallen asleep in some obscure place that will concern him. Despite his dislike of this habit you've gotten, when he finds you asleep in Pigsy's, he's somewhat glad, because at least he knows where you are.

It's days like these that he can feel himself getting older by the minute. The stress you put on him is undeniable, he hates not knowing whether his friends are safe or not.

Fortunately, his searching does not take long until he finds you.

At first glance, he assumes that you're a child, collecting sticks or playing hide-n-seek in the park, before realising it's you; sleeping underneath a tree. MK wastes little time in rushing over to you, giving you a once-over to ensure that you haven't brought injury unto yourself.

He sighs in relief after noticing that you're in good physical shape. That was one less thing to worry about; now, onto the next...

He wormed his arms underneath your body, being as careful as possible to not disturb your slumber, and lifting you up against his chest. You might complain at him later, feeling embarrassed to be picked up and moved by him, but he's fine with it as long as you're safe and in his sight while sleeping.

With the strength he's gained from his newfound abilities and Monkey King's training, he barely breaks a sweat in his endeavours to relocate you. The familiar scent of Pigsy's restaurant calms him, and clearly you, as well, if the unconscious smile on your face after entering was anything to go by.

MK makes a beeline for one of the booth seats, gently placing you down and ensuring that you won't take a tumble off the edge, before rushing back outside to enter his own apartment above the restaurant. Despite knowing that you're a heavy sleeper and unlikely to wake anytime soon, he hurried to grab the necessary items that he kept stashed in a seperate cupboard for your unexpected naps.

With a pillow and blanket now in his grasp, the young successor retraced his steps to the building below.

Both his boss and Tang ignored his behaviour, used to the odd interaction that happened between you two every week or so. As MK carefully wrapped the blanket over your shoulders, he quietly shushed Tang after a particularly loud slurp from the scholar.

Once he was certain that you were the comfiest you could be, he sat down in the seat opposite you and relaxed. Pigsy had let him out on a break earlier, and he still had 10 minutes left to enjoy it.

That was, until he was startled by the yelling of a young girl entering the building.

MK, in response, stammered out a warning that you were sleeping, putting a finger to his mouth and shushing her. He glanced over to you through Mei's apologies, thankful to notice that you hadn't woken from the disturbance.

He really had no clue how you were able to sleep the way you did.

LMK Mute Reader insert (short)Drabble

Arrrggh, I know I should be asleep rn, but this idea was bugging me, so here you go!

Lately I've gotten much better at ASL, my friend and I have been learning it on and off for months but it really got me thinking, what if an Isekai reader was mute? So much to unpack, and Lego people probably don't have ASL or any way of using their hands to communicate. Worse, there probably would not be or ever be any mute Lego people because of design issues. If so, we just never see it. It presents quite the challenge for anyone entering their world. I can see this MAYBE working out well if the reader ended up in Journey to The West or any other movie/media that does not involve having plastic, yellow, macaroni for hands. Fandom: Lego Monkie Kid Summary: (This is just a drabble to get my idea out because it's buggin' me) Reader wakes up one day in Lego Monkie Kid and struggles to process the lack of human hands.

Sometimes you wish you could scream. This was one of those times.

In front of you stood what was supposed to be a fictional boy in a fictional world; but, having been just ran into by the excited hero made you realize this was all too real to be a dream. Things were clear, you could get hurt, you could smell, you could breathe, and most importantly, you were very self-aware. All evidence points to this being real. And you wanted to scream.

Getting up to dust your clothes off, you watched as what you recognized to be MK also get up. This was so uncanny.

Seeing the gears turn in his head, you watched as MK realized what happened before he came running up to you. "OHMYGOSHIAMSOSORRYABOUTTHAT-" He was frantically bowing over and over, not paying attention as you tried several times to raise your 'hand' to sign to him. You realized you needed his attention but he just kept rambling...and rambling...and more apologies came out until you finally grabbed his shoulder, gave it a squeeze, and made a small smile. Looking up, Mk made a nervous smile back "Are you okay? I'm so sorry I didn't mean to hit you with my staff!" He was practically eyeing you up down your body, most likely looking for injur- Wait. You got hit by his what now?

You flinched upon realizing what actually happened, ignoring MK's worried questions and prodding. You weren't ran into, well, you were, but you also got a good whack from the staff as well. So why didn't you feel anything?

"Uhhm...hello? I didn't hit you in the head did I?" You felt a hand gently tap your shoulder, snapping you out of your thoughts.

Looking over, you quickly began moving your hands, making odd gestures, trying to explain you were alright. MK looked confused, you looked annoyed once you realized the issue.

These hands, they weren't like yours, you can't communicate with them like you would back home.

A huff left your mouth as MK nudged closer to get a better look, he probably thought you were crazy now.

"I don't know what you're doing, but I'm sure you'll feel better with a bowl of noodles and quick check over?" The sentence came out as more of a question, MK clearly wasn't aware of the issue going on but he was too sweet to leave you here it seems.

It was a hard choice as weird as it sounds. On one hand, you could meet the main cast, but on the other, you don't know what you're getting yourself into. But...you need help and you feel overwhelmed. You doubt you'd feel comfortable being with other characters.

You gave MK a quick nod after thinking it through. Not even a split second passed before you were stuffed in the back of a noodle truck with MK hopping into the driver's seat, eyes sparkling "Perfect! I'm sure you'll love Pigsy's noodles!" Starting up the engine, MK sped off, not giving you a chance to buckle in.

Off in the distance, a bird watched the truck speed away from the crater left behind from one of MK's 'attack'. Imprints of your shoes were embedded into the stone due the force behind the staff. What a concerning sight...

Mileena

Ever since her mother past, even if her soul was safe with her father, she found it hard to find the time to grieve. It wasn’t the same, not being able to speak to her, hug her, learn from her. And now, the newly passed duties of empress was thrown on her by circumstance, taking up nearly her entire day.

When in the solace of her room, hidden away from prying eyes, even for just a moment, she would let a tear slip down her cheek. All the inner turmoil collected into that single drop, and staining the silky case of her pillow.

All the struggle was slowly healed when you came along, trotting happily into the castle with your tail held high. You were a stray, with your once soft black fur now dirty and matted. She took pity on you, feeling the need to care for you tugging at the strings of her aching heart. And so she did, finding an almost therapeutic rhythm when brushing your shiny coat. Upon finding the small tag dangling on your neck, she was baffled to see it read ‘Tanya’. She almost giggled at it, such a bizarre coincidence to find a gentle companion with the same name as her lover.

During the nights, when the peace and quiet is a luxury earned, she lays on her satin sheets in deep thought. You, her new found friend, curled into a small ball against her side. Your purrs vibrate through her waist, bringing out a soft sigh of content from her lips. “Thank you, Tanya,” she whispered, “you’ve done a wonderful job fending off the sadness that plagues me.” She gently stroked your back, reaching up to scratch behind your ears. Both of you, at peace even for a moment, slipped into a dreamless slumber.

Kitana

It was hard watching her sister, watching her lack the time to grieve, watching her suffer in silence and create a fake facade of happiness in front of the people. Kitana wasn’t as high status as her, so she could afford just a little time alone, something she was grateful for. If she could, she would take her place, even for a moment to allow her some freedom.

Even with the time she had, she still missed her mother greatly. It was too early, unnatural even for her mother to be gone. She almost felt lost, lacking her mother’s usual guidance and watchful eye was akin to a motherless fawn.

It had been a normal day, tending to duties, but a particularly sad day. A day filled with heavy sorrow, the stages of grief hitting Kitana like a train. Her sister is busy, tending to duties as a new empress, and this left her feeling empty and alone. Never the less, she kept a neutral expression through out the day, even a small smile for the cherry on top.

But as night came, she’d sit out in the courtyard, here eyes to the stars above. She’d whisper to the night sky, one prayer at a time, for the safety of her family and the palace. A sudden rustle of a nearby bush breaks her from her thoughts. She approaches with a perplexed expression, “who’s there?” No answer, instead, the bushes rustle once more in response. Kitana took another step closer, cautious and ready, her heart slightly racing with impending adrenaline. To her surprise, a small fluffy feline emerged from the shrubbery, tilting its head in her direction.

“Mreow,” you purred, a simple human translation to a hello. She lowered her stance, relaxing at the sight of you, “hello little one,” she cooed. You chirped in response, trotting over to rub against her legs, looking up with your big adorable eyes. She giggled, there is simply no resisting the pleading gaze of a friendly feline. As if she read your mind, she gingerly scooped you up into her arms, cradling you close to her chest. While doing so, her fingers grazed the hem of your collar, causing her to retract for a moment in surprise. When looking closer, the collar read ‘Sindel’ in a intricate cursive engraving. She gently traced the letters with her fingers, as if committing it to memory. Her eyes welled with tears, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She sniffled, nuzzling her face into your fur with a sigh, “I miss you, mother.”

Sindel

To be reunited with her husband was one thing, but to be inside his body as a spirit was another. Death wasn’t at all as expected, she felt the cold sensation and loss of feeling that came with it, but did not go to some whimsical after life. Considering the death of the forest of souls, there was no going there. A shame, really, she wanted to experience it for herself. But, considering she was with her husband once more, it felt safer than the forest.

The best she could describe it would be, feeling whole again, realizing a part of her that she was missing. She felt a strange connection between her and the other spirits there, as if a cord interlocked them at the core. Every feeling, every thought, it was all shared between them as a collective. Negativity didn’t exist, all the fear and longing she once felt, was gone now.

There was a place where everyone was a physical, walking around in a blank plane of white and fog. This is where she could be with her husband, reunited once again in pure bliss. The area was endless, even if you chose to walk continuously, you would never reach an end.

Sindel sat near the edge of the group, waiting for her husband to return once again. She looked off into the endless pool of white, deep in thought. She could see the memories of her past life, memories of her children, husband, and the kingdom. All the memories skimming over her brain like a slide show, all the way up to her untimely death. Reaching down, she gingerly caressed the wound where the katana had struck and killed her. She could remember the look of dread and sorrow on her daughter’s face, but proud was the only thing she could feel. Sindel could see the progress Mileena and Kitana have made through Jared’s eyes, and regardless if she could tell them or not, she was beyond overjoyed.

A sudden presence beside her lured her out of her trance. When she looked, she was surprised to see you, the spirit of a small house cat. It was unusual to see animals here, but never has it been unwelcome. Perhaps the others have not noticed you, as usually they would flock to an animal newcomer. She smiled down at you, admiring the beauty of your coat while you groom your paw in silence. You turned your head in response, looking up at her with one big eye, the other closed off as a token of your past life. You could sense that she was waiting, and decided to keep her company. You stood, stretching your back before trotting over to her. You didn’t hesitate, making yourself right at home on Sindel’s lap. There was no protest from her, instead, she placed a gentle hand on your back and stroked her fingers through your fur. It had been quite some time since you had been pet, your past life lacking the love and care you craved so much. If only Sindel had found you when you both were alive, she would surely take you in as her own. She scratched the top of your head, eliciting a soft purr of satisfaction from you. Sindel continued to wait for her husband, watching memories flow by, but this time with a new friend.

Li Mei

Li Mei practically watched Sindel’s daughters grow up from small infants to young women. She nearly felt her eyes well with tears, watching the coronation of Mileena through blurred eyes. Even if she gained the role through circumstance, she was still unbelievable proud.

It was unfortunate, downright depressing, losing the best friend she had just got back. After years of pleading with Sindel, working so hard to regain her trust after Jared’s passing, she had finally rebuilt the bond once broken. Only for the untimely death of her best friend, regaining her best friend’s husband in her place. Although, it was a relief to learn from Jared that she had safe passage to an afterlife of some sort. And, she was happy to hear that they were reunited, even if it was through failed dark magic.

After her promotion for her heroic acts, she felt alone and home sick. She felt wrong in the place as chief of imperial police, missing the streets of Sun Do where she kept peace for so many years. Now, she sat in her office as a newly reinstated first constable, mindlessly dragging the pen across parchment. She had taken up journaling, a simple way to vent out the everyday frustrations of police work, and to pass time on off days where crime was minimal. Paperwork from the days criminals had stacked neatly in the corner of the desk, a small lamp hovered over the various journal papers. She sighed, setting the pen down and leaning back in her seat. Stretching her back with a satisfying pop before making way to the exit of her office.

A sudden shrill shriek startled Li Mei, nearly sounding like a child screaming for help. At this time of night? She swiftly ran to a nearby alleyway where she was surprised to see the source of the sound was a cat fight between strays. One was much larger, covered in fluffy orange fur, and the other a small and scrawny brown tabby. The smaller one let out a meek hiss, while the larger one raised a paw ready to strike. You bolted behind Li Mei’s leg, having accidentally stumbled into the territory of a large Tom cat. He was aggressive, fiercely defending his home and potential breeding area, to which you wanted no part of and simply made your way here by curiosity alone. As the Tom cat made an attempt to run towards you, Li Mei stomped her foot, “hey! Quit the scuffle.” The Tom cat hesitated at first, giving you one last hiss before running back through the alley where it came from. Li Mei brought her attention to the small tabby hidden behind her, lowering to crouch beside you, “quite the predicament you got yourself into hm?” She brought her hand to your eye level, to which you gave it a gentle sniff. Paper, ink, and a small amount of roast lingered on her skin, remnants of her lunch eliciting a heavy pang in your stomach. “Are you hungry?” She frowned, studying the current state of your boney ribs and dirtied fur. You meowed, your eyes large in a pitiful beg for a scrap of satiation. She smiled, scooping you up in her arms, “let’s get some dinner in you little one,” walking back into the headquarters. She felt a strange fabric on your neck, the dirt covering making it nearly impossible to notice at first. Attached to it, was a small metal heart, rusted and covered in mud. Upon wiping it with her thumb, the words on it read “umgadi”. She giggled, “my past comes back to me.” From then on, you made several returns to her for food and protection, until eventually, you were adopted by her with open arms.

Tanya

When she wasn’t with Mileena, majority of her time was occupied by the duties of leader of the Umgadi. Being at such a high rank, and rebuilding the Umgadi from the ground up to be reformed from a few rotten apples, had kept her a very busy woman. Tanya made sure to thoroughly wring out every pupil to keep out the rats who conspire against both the Umgadi principles, and the kingdom itself.

Tanya stride down the hallways of the palace, her heels clicking against the pristine floors of the Umgadi barracks. She held an air of confidence, her head held high and eyes straight ahead. She smiled as the gentle snores of her sisters reached her ears, the peaceful sound of slumber fading slightly with every step. She had an objective in mind, her feet carrying her to the palace gardens where her lover waits.

Upon arriving, just at the entrance, two small cats walked side by side with their tails wrapped over each other. They seemed so peaceful, enjoying each other’s company under the starlit sky. She hadn’t meant to intrude, but once noticed by the two felines, one had bolted into a nearby hedge. The one remaining, a small calico, had looked at her with curiosity. You did not run, instead, you sat right where you were, to convey that you were not afraid. Tanya smiled, lowering herself to a crouch and reaching a hand in your direction, “it’s alright, I won’t harm you.” You sniffed the air, catching a whiff of her scent, the smell akin to a sunlit field of flowers with a hint of honey. You slowly approached, your neck elongated to sniff her outstretched hand without risking too much. She smiled, tilting her head with curiosity, “what’s your name, little one?” You lifted your head, just enough for her to catch a glimpse of a name on your collar. It read, “Mileena”. She smirked at the engraving, “what a beautiful name.”

These headcanons caused me to create an oc named Huoqiáng, who is in the reader's place in the @pamgkrthwrites headcanons.

Red Son

Oh boy

He is a tsundere big brother

He is six years older than you

When Huoqiáng was pregnant he was a little upset he would have to share his parents love

Once you were born, he now wants to keep you safe

As you get older, and your horns grow he'll help make it hurt less

Because of his fire powers, he can touch your lava hair

Braids you hair when you ask

Teaches you how to use your fire powers better

That training he did with Mei, he'll do that with you

When you mess up, he will protect you and then give you crap for whatever you did

After the LBD incident, he becomes even more protective of you

I've been dragged back into LMK by the ankles and I can't get this idea outta my head:

what about Wukong, MK, Pigsy(platonic), and Mei(platonic) with an s/o/friend who has a pet Owlbear? Maybe they found it as an injured hatchling and raised it, so now it's super protective, but when not in protection mode, it's just like a Great Dane that thinks it's a lapdog!

for reference owl bears look like this and are 10ft tall(average) on all fours

May or may not be the tiniest bit intimidated by it but he will not admit that

You'll probably have to gently help the two to connect. Show Wukong how to feed it, let it inspect him a little

Soon enough they'll get along just fine, Wukong is good with animals by nature so he'd get the hang of it pretty easy with your help!

He still thinks it's crazy that this big hulking creature follows you around being all scary...

but it also wants to somehow fit into your lap whenever you sit down as if it didn't just drag in a dead mouse as a gift

He eventually starts saving meat scraps and bones for it

Refers to it mostly as "the lil fella" even though if it wanted to it could eat him

If anything he's impressed at how well it behaves

Can she please ride on its back. Please it's for science

Super excited, and like MK, she will warm up to it and treat it like a puppy instantly

It warms up to her too, and they get along great

She also probably finds a way to teach it tricks if you haven't already done that

Uses a baby voice with it too, you know how people have certain voices they use for their pets? She does that :)

10/10 she handles it better than the rest of the group on this list

Red Son X Demon Reader (Platonic)

You met Red Son when he broke into your temple. Red Son was looking for some ancient relic and he was willing to kill you to get it. He was surprised when you went to a large room, fished it out of a box, and threw it to him.

“What? You’re just going to give it to me?” Red Son looked perplexed before grinning. “Of course you would! I’m powerful and terrifying, any low ranked demon as yourself would tremble before me.”

Often Red Son went over with the excuse he wanted another relic. Something about you just soothed him. The two of you became best friends even though neither of you made it official.

Red Son brought you to his home to show you all of the tech and plans he had. His room is a mess, papers and gadgets scattered around. You took it upon yourself to visit regularly to clean up.

Demon Bull King walked in one time to see the two of you. He huffed at you but was glad his son was talking someone else’s ear off instead of his. You were polite enough and cleaned up after yourself, and that’s all he cared about.

Red Son was always talking about some new plan. Most of the time, you’d tell him how it wouldn’t work. Red Son always made sure to get your approval on a plan, knowing that you were more logical than he was at times. He made the tech, you helped with the plans. Most of the time your plans would go well, and the other times Red Son helped.

The two of you made formidable foes to MK and his friends. You always apologize when Red Son destroys property or says something rude to them. Red Son got angry when you’d talk to MK, telling him not to talk to “MBDF” (My best demon friend). Red Son’s possessiveness got to be too much and you had to sit him down and talk to him about it, and eventually you made friends with MK and Mei. Red Son begrudgingly hung out with them as well and eventually Red Son stopped attacking MK all the time.

No matter how many years pass, you’ll always be friends- and nothing will take that away.

A Stray Cat in a Strange Place [Part 2]

AN: Part 2 of the story I started to write. I gave the cat a name because Fujin wouldn't actually know your name. It's not mentioned often, but I just wanted to let you know before reading. Also I imagine Fujin being really protective of his newly adopted cat. I had fun writing this, so I hope you all enjoy it! Not proof read.

Part 1 - Part 3

“The little one doesn’t seem to like any of these names, Fujin.”

The elder brother noted to the younger brother. Who knew coming up with a name for a pet would be so hard!? Fujin wanted his new family member to have a wonderful name, but he also wanted you to like it too! He was wondering if you were even listening to him now that made him pout a little.

You stretch your body out and yawn. Looking at your new friend you move to nuzzle him. Raiden watches how the two of you interact with one another. He wants to pet you, but he doesn’t want to in front of his younger brother. He felt like Fujin would jest with him about his demeanor change towards you.

Fujin picks you up to walk over towards the window, and opens it so you both could enjoy the pleasant breeze. His eyes widened. Like a new inspiration shot him. He looks down at you. Tilting your head to the side and responding with a questionable meow. He laughs at your reaction. He thought it was so cute.

“I thought of a new name!”

“You have now?”

“Yes! I think it would suit this little one quite well!”

Raiden raises an eyebrow to Fujin. Fujin turns around to see his reaction, having a wide smile on his own face.

“Haruka! Or maybe Haru for short? What do you two think?”

You meow at him. You don’t mind the name. It has a nice ring to it. You look over to see Raiden’s reaction. He appears to be in thought.

“It seems they like the name, and I think it does quite suit them as well.”

Fujin pulls you into a tight hug, thankfully it wasn’t too tight to hurt you any. Raiden stiffens when he sees that you could be distraught now.

“I’m overjoyed that you have a name now, Haruka!”

“Fujin, perhaps you shouldn’t be squeezing Haruka like that. They don’t seem too… comfortable right now.”

Panic filled his eyes. He didn’t want to hurt you. He just wanted to show you the affection you deserve. He lays you down on the bed. You feel an instinct to attack something, and your victim is the bedding on Fujin’s bed. You can’t control your cat urges. Swatting at the covers, and rolling around on them, has the two chuckling lightly at your performance.

That was until someone came knocking on the door. A brand new face appears, you wonder how many people lived here exactly and where exactly were you. The new man looks at you slightly confused.

“Lord Raiden, Lord Fujin the monks said there was something they needed to discuss with the two of you.”

Maybe this is your chance to roam around and see what the rest of your new home looks like. The two men sigh, just when things were getting right on track. Raiden looks at the young man.

“Liu Kang, could you watch over Haruka for us?”

“Yes I can, Lord Raiden.” He bows, then he rises to look at you.

So this man is named Liu Kang. At least it didn’t take long to learn his name. Wait. Did he call the grumpy man ‘Lord’? What the hell? This just adds to your questions about this duo. You look at the three of them and release a little meow not sure what to do now.

Fujin goes to pet your head. You nuzzle into the palm of his hand purring.

“I’ll return as fast as I can.”

He smiles at you gently. While Raiden only nods at you. They leave the room to go see what the monks needed. Liu Kang and you are now left alone in the room. You head towards the door, turn to look at him, and meow indicating for him to follow you. He grins at you with a light chuckle.

Walking around the temple was quite the adventure. However, not long during the trip Liu Kang decided to pick you and carry you around. He walks by the training grounds, and soon a voice is shouting at Liu Kang. When he turns he sees a man wearing a funny looking hat, but it’s different from the one you’ve seen Raiden wear. This man’s hat seems more dangerous with the blade that is around the rim of it. It scares you a little, causing your ears to go back. Liu Kang pets you trying to calm your nerves.

“When did you get a cat?”

“This is the cat that Lord Fujin brought with him when he returned.”

You still try to hide from the man. Liu Kang speaks again.

“I think you’re scaring them, Kung Lao.”

“Huh? How am I even scary?”

He seems baffled at his friend's words. You want to run away right now. You want to be near Fujin, or maybe Raiden. You feel uncomfortable right now. Maybe if you hiss, Liu Kang would set you down on the ground, but you don’t want to cause him any harm if you were to scratch him.

When you hiss and growl at the two, and just as you hope Liu Kang sets you down on the ground. As soon as your paws are on the ground, you bolt off. They are shocked by your actions. Liu Kang shouts and runs after you in a panic. Kung Lao is just confused by what happened. Not long after he follows after the two.

The two ran past you. Thankfully you were able to quickly hide from them. You want to be by yourself for a moment, so it would hopefully be easier for you to calm down. Deep breath in, deep breath out. Carefully looking both ways you try to find Fujin.

As the two men were running looking for you. They failed to notice that some of the monks were staring at them. Unfortunately for them, they failed to notice that Fujin was also staring at them. Fujin walks over to them.

“What are you two doing?”

They look at each other. Liu Kang gulps.

“Lord Fujin, I can explain!”

As you were wandering around, someone approached you to pick you up. Your body tenses at the contact then tries to wiggly away not knowing who this was. You weren’t familiar with how you were being held, and you also had your eyes closed.

“Relax, little one.”

Perking up at the voice of who held you. You open your eyes to see none other than Raiden. Well, he wasn’t Fujin, but he did hold you gently. You meowed at him.

“What are you even doing out here? And where’s Liu Kang?”

He looks around not seeing him anywhere in sight. He looks angry. You wish he wasn’t, it wasn’t Liu Kang’s fault but your own. However, you can’t exactly tell Raiden that though. You look at him and begin to purr hoping it may calm his anger. He sighs, letting you nuzzle his hand.

“Now let’s go find that brother of mine, shall we?”

You meow in agreement, excited to see Fujin once again. You hope that Liu Kang won’t get into too much trouble, and you honestly don’t know if that other guy would get in trouble. You’ll just have to wait and see.

As Raiden approaches his brother, you can see him yelling at someone. Unfortunately it is Liu Kang on the receiving end of his anger. Liu Kang’s head is down listening to Fujin’s angry words.

“Brother, that’s enough.”

Fujin turns around to see you in Raiden’s arms. He forgets about Liu Kang, and runs over to Raiden. He grabs, hugs you, and gives you little kisses on your head. You were purring. Looking over to Liu Kang you feel bad. You try to struggle out of Fujin’s grasp. Succeeding you walk over to Liu Kang meowing sadly. You want to apologize for your actions.

Liu Kang bends down to pet you. You hope he understands what you were trying to say. He smiles gently at you.

“It’s okay, Haruka.”

“What happened, Liu Kang?”

Raiden inquires about the events that transpired after they left. Liu Kang begins to explain what happened to the two men. Before, when he was on the receiving end of Fujin’s anger he barely got a chance to explain what exactly happened.

“We were on a walk. I think they wanted to see what was outside Lord Fujin’s room. During our walk, we encountered Kung Lao, and they seemed to be scared of him. Not long after that they ran off. We were looking for Haruka. When Lord Fujin caught us, Kung Lao went off to go find them while I stayed here.”

The brothers were looking at Liu Kang then at you. You nodded your head at his words.

“Why were they afraid of Kung Lao though?”

“Haruka seemed scared when they saw his hat.”

Liu Kang’s words caused Fujin to laugh. He never thought you would be afraid of a hat. Your afraid reaction at the mention of the cat only seemed to prove his theory. Fujin picks you up again trying to soothe you. Telling you that you are safe, and that Kung Lao’s hat wouldn’t get you.

You felt your stomach rumble. You nibble on Fujin’s hand to try to give him the hint. He chuckles, and it seems that the anger he felt earlier had all disappeared now. He walks off to the kitchen area to prepare some food for you. Raiden and Liu Kang follow not too far behind him.

You wonder if this will be how your life will be now. As long as Fujin is there to help you, you don’t mind. You like the people you’ve met so far. Maybe next time you meet Kung Lao, you’ll try to get to know him better.

OMG SO I REQUESTED THE TOMAS WITH THE KID READER, IT WAS SO CUTE, USVHSBS

Could I ask for a follow up, maybe? The ending had the reader drawing, so what if the reader just draws him, themselves and Kuai Liang just hanging out all the time? Bonus points if they're not at all good and literally just stick figures, but it's clear they put so much love into it that it doesn't matter

Tomas Vbrada/Smoke and Kuai Liang/Scorpion X reader

Awwwwwwww anon This is so adorable I love it so damn much, Your brain is on fire this month !!!. Word count:1K

Whenever you finished up training or done your chores in the dojo, It was no surprise that you would spend your free time drawing, Most of the time you would draw you and Smoke, Granted they were stick figures but you put so much love and care into them. Even having Kuai liang in your drawings as well.

"Kuai I drew something new !!" You said proudly.

"Ah what have you drawn today ??" He smile as you handed him a drawing.

"This is me" You pointed at the stick figure what looks like its punching a wooden pole. "And this is you" Pointing to the second stick figure who was cheering you on.

"This is very lovely y/n, Thank you for this" He smiled brightly, you just made his day.

Both Tomas and Kuai have a huge collection of your drawings, each one putting so much love and care into it. You really did see them as your brothers, even though you didn't share the same blood. You saw them as brothers who would do nothing else to protect you and help you be the very best you can be.

One day, It was a nice beautiful summer's day outside, and Kuai decided to treat you two to a day out, no worrying about any chores or training.

"How about a day swim at the lake nearby ??" He smiled.

"Yeah I like that !!" You smiled enthusiastically which made Smoke chuckle, If you had a tail it would be wagging almost out of control.

"Alright then we leave very soon, so I suggest we help each other pack for the day out." With that the two then quickly changed into their swim clothes and packed dry ones and a towel while Kuai filled a basket with food and water.

Y/n also packed their notepad and pencil too just incase they see anything interesting along the way to the lake.

They began they're walk to the lake, the summer sun working a sweat on all of you.

"Don't worry y/n we're nearly there" Smoke smiled and patted your shoulder.

"Ok..." You wiped the sweat off your forehead with your arm.

And within a few minutes you arrived at the lake, the water crystal clear, cool and inviting. "Go on then" Kuai smiled and sat down under the tree.

Y/n cheered and rushed into the water, diving in and just having a blast, Tomas dived in too, but you were distracted so he gave the most perfect opportunity and then swam up to you without even noticing and then he struck, lifting you up out of the water.

"What the. Tomas !!!" You giggled

"Ready, in 3... 2... 1... Go !!!" He then tossed you back into the water.

"NO" You yelled as you splashed in and swam back up, Tomas giving the most cheeky smile you have ever seen. Then it turns into a water fight oh boy was he going down. Kuai Liang smiled brightly watching you two play in the water. He's never seen Tomas this happy before, it warmed his heart to see how close you and him were. Just being able to let loose and have a bit of fun.

"Kuai Come on in !!' You yelled out to him, making him lose his train of thought. "I'm all good y/n" He declined polietly.

"Oh man..." You pouted.

"Hey I know something that might get him in" Tomas whispered to you.

"Oh ??"

He gently whispered into your ear as Kuai then looked back up into the sky and closed his eyes, taking in the soft breeze. It only lasted for a few seconds when he felt water splash onto him. Opening his eyes to find it was you as you laughed running back into the water.

"Come back here y/n" He smirked and rushed after you, diving into the water and swam for you.

"Tomas help me !!" You shrieked as you swam to him, but you didn't reach him in time as Kuai then caught you and started to tickle your sides.

"No !!" You giggled loudly, you had nowhere to go. Trapped in the clutches of kuai's tickle attack.

"That's what you get for splashing me." He smirked as he then let you go and splashed you.

"It came with some sacrifice but we got him into the water huh y/n" Tomas smirked and playfully nudged you.

"Don't think you're getting out of this too brother." He smirked and splashed him as well.

"Wha- hey !!" He smiled as he splashed back.

Another giant water fight ensued, one with lots of smiles and laughs, the three spent hours having fun in the water, it was much needed after many days of training.

After a fun day of swimming and being with your brothers you decided to make a new drawing about your day. You were going to make this the very best drawing the elder gods have ever seen. It took longer this time, showing how much love and care you were going to put into this drawing. After almost 45 minutes it was finished. It was beautiful, But before you showed them, you placed in the most important thing of the drawing, you, Tomas and Kuai.

"Guys I got something to show you !!" You smiled so brightly.

"Oh, what is it ??" Tomas asked.

You then showed them the drawing, placing it in front of them as they looked over, The lake day was perfectly drawn. So much love and care, and you had the stick figures in too.

"That's me, and Kuai and you. We're hugging each other like we did in the lake."

Both of them smile brightly and group hug you.

"This is very beautiful y/n, thank you so much" Kuai gently rubbed your shoulder blade and smiled.

"I love you guys..."

And if their hearts couldn't melt any further, You were their sibling, one of the Shirai Ryu. One who they would always protect no matter what the situation is. You were family.

It wasn’t until you got to the human realm did you finally was able to get out of the hold of the demons hands and did the only thing you could do at the moment which was run from the demonic kidnapper. You had run as far as your little legs could which was pretty far as you’re half of celestial and half demonic.

You had soon met the successor of monkey king; mk, you heard of him before and how he reminds your father of a monkey demon that terrorized the heavens before you were even born, you honestly liked those stories when Nezha head told you about in case you came across the monkey or his family as a warning but you didn’t’t take it as a warning but more like a story that was for your bedtime so you happily went to mk once you realized who he was.

He didn’t know where you came from so he just thinks your a lost kid or maybe a orphan; which he hope wasn’t the case cause who would abandon a sweet kid like you? And decided to take you to his dads who’re on flower fruit mountain with his adopted sister bai he as they are training her for self defense and to control the remaining power that lbd had that is still inside her for when the demoness had possesed her as her host.

Sun was the second person to have meet you, he basically hugs you as you’re so adorable, though you do have a familiar aura about you and the fact that his eyes are showing him a bright glow to you that he can’t quite place at the moment but he know that it’ll come to him sooner or later but back to the main focus which is how adorable you have gotten by the second especially with those little nubs of your horns!! So adorable

(Just like you guys!! You’re all adorable and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise, unless you want to use a different term than adorable then you’re definitely a lot of wonderful things you want to be so don’t let anyone tell otherwise either 😁)

Sun quickly showed you to macaque and bai he as soon as mk explained what happened to you when you told mk what happened though you conveniently accidentally left out the fact that you’re the jade emperor’s daughter when you explained so now they think you’re a lost celestial child and decided to adopt you without the help of sun’s unnamed lawyer cause that would just have you taken away from them and you need to be raised by people like them anyway since your real parents can’t even save you from a demon kidnapping their child.

Which brings us to now. The demon who tried to kidnap you again and with the fact that your power you have yet to discover is driven the demon insane enough to not notice that he traveled to flower fruit mountain, a place he shouldn’t be as the sun family had just made you their own now which means the demon is soon to be dead as there is a punishment for trying to harm one of the sun family’s (the monkey are apart of the sun family like it’s said in jttw I believe.) sadly the now decease demon isn’t the only threat to separate you from them as your biological father soon was given word that you now reside in flower fruit mountain with the very monkey that made the heavens a disaster before you were born and with how you’re so young still the jade emperor fears that the blasted demon monkey would try and twist your mind into hating your real father.

Dbk family:

You had somehow entered the human realm when you were playing hide and seek with Nezha. Though you didn’t know that you entering would alert so many demons that went after you soon after you landed on safe grounds, though ones demon family sensed your powerful aura and went after it as it could help them finally defeat monkey king and his disciple mk; whose secretly redson’s boyfriend but he would never tell them at the moment with how things are now.

Though they are most definitely shocked to see but a child in a middle of multiple demons who still go by the olden ways of things, they almost had just let it happened if pif had a brief thought of Redson if he was in that situation and seeing him in the child’s place, so as fast as she could she took care of the demons who isn’t as much as important as the child in pif arms is.

This confused Redson more than Dbk but Dbk was still confused on his wife’s actions as this had never happened before until now. Though his confusion diminished as he saw the look his wife gave to the child then the next look she gave to him, it was a look that was similar to when they discovered Redson samadhi fire and something a mother would give for when they want to protect their child from harm that may come plus the innocent look you had given him when you noticed the direction the woman that is holding you gently is looking at.

They soon went back to their castle that is their home and soon to be your home though Redson is still confused but don’t know wether or not if he should ask or not but kept quiet anyway as you seem to need to be taken care of first at the moment.

Redson is the last to see you once you’re taking care of in case you heads wounds from those demolishing that surprised attacked you, he soon understand that maybe having you here is a good idea plus he also understands the way his mother and father acted towards you as now he soon feels that protective over you.\

The only person outside of his family that’s knows about you is mk but that soon wasn’t the case as he had accidentally let it out when he was asked about his day by tang and pigsy with mei and sandy being there as well, all o fthem became worried about you and made sure to ask about wether you’re ok and such for when mk was spending time with Redson.

Funny enough Redson was able to confidently show to his parents how the was dating mk which brought the over protectiveness in them but you soon calmed them down which Redson was grateful. Though what the bull family didn’t know is that now a l;it of people is wanting to have you safely in their arm,s once they got word about you, the jade emperor ins’t too happy how a demon family has his daughter that he wants to protect with his life.

Waterspider/silktea:

You met mo when you had accidentally got transported to the human realm by accident when you were exploring the celestial realm out of boredom as everyone you knew was sadly busy, though when you had met mo you soon had no fear or boredom as he took your mind off it with you two playing in the park.

Mo at first just thought you’d were a lost kid but soon noticed how you have some type of important outfit on and with the fact that you have a almost celestial and demonic aura about you which is why he soon took you to sandy ad huntsman.

Sandy and huntsman was just finishing up setting up their first date of the relationship that blossomed soon after the two met but was interrupted by mo coming in with you in tow, you were confused on where you were as you were solely focused on the mysterious blue cat and was shocked to see someone that was big and funny enough resemble the cat as well plus with a demon which you could only guess from your knowledge is a spider demon, you also guessed that the one that resemble the cat was a sort of fish demon but you decided on not saying anything as to not be rude and assume things.

The two decided to put their date on hold for now as you seem to need to have comfort with how your’e lost from your home now. They also thought you were of a rich family but huntsman was the first to noticed your almost Yang yang like aura soon after and quietly told sandy about it.

Though sandy did think that you might have something to do with celestial beings so he wasn’t as shocked as huntsman had thought he would be but sandy quickly explain why he wasn’t as shocked as he thought sandy was which made sense as he remembers how sandy was right about his friends being reincarnations of the disciples from the old journey to the west.

Sandy had shown you to pigsy, tang, mk, and mei while huntsman had shown you to syntax, strong spider and a still recovering spider queen who somehow survived lbd betrayal that almost killed the queen.

What the two didn’t know is that your very much important than they thought you were and that you’re the daughter of the jade emperor but of course the two is ready for anything that would try to take you away as they had soon thought of you as part of their family plus they have friends who feel the same so now it’s war between the two groups.

Spicynoodles:

You snuck out of the celestial realm as were tired of seeing the same thing over and over again and want to do something new like what some humans do from what you heard of.

You met mk when you had gotten hungry though it was only brief as he need to do his deliveries for pigsy, though you did get to met his some of his adopted parents. You had given pigsy your order with a pouch of many celestial currency like you’ve done before in the celestial realm when you wanted something from there.

Mk soon properly met your as you had stayed in the restaurant still and have not left as you didn’t know the time had past so much and cause you were having a nice chat with tang who was interested in your stories that you had from when you were in the celestial realm of course tang didn’t believe you and thought these were only you imagination of what it could be like if you were to be there but that is far from it.

Pigsy was intrigued by you but also worried as no kid should be left alone, as he should know as he has mk and tang to look after and their basically children with how the two get in trouble plus putting mei in the mix as well so more than a disaster.

Mk had started hanging out with you plus mentioning about you to both his monkey dads and his boyfriend; Redson, all of them curios about their little one that had mk distracted a lot.

Redson met you first as he couldn’t help his growing curiosity plus he started getting jealous how almost all the time mk was with is about if you’re ok so he went to both meet you and see if you’re as important as mk makes you out to be, which is very important as he can feel both celestial and demonic power coming from you but that makes him protective over you as there is many beings who would want that power as well since he had something similar when he was born so he now protects you with mk and soon adopted you as their child.

Sun, macaque had met you afterwards, some were offended to be close to last for meeting you (cough, cough *sun* cough, cough) but it’s mostly jokingly tease as they soon was distracted by you for the rest of the day that they had finally met you on; mei and sandy met you sooon after mk properly met you so they definitely know you beforehand. With how overprotective everyone you have met you the jade emperor most definitely won’t be getting his daughter back anytime soon.
