A copyright issue with Materia Collective, the distributor of Undertale and Deltarune music has recently been resolved! People had been getting copyright claimed on their Undertale Yellow videos, with the reasoning being that the music remixed Undertale music (which... doesn't even get copyrighted in the first place?) A representative of the company, Sebastian Wolff attempted to defend this in a lengthy twitter thread I'm frankly.. too annoyed to summarize, and many people were asking for Toby to get involved.
According to this tweet from MasterSwrdRemix (The director of Undertale Yellow), Toby was instrumental (ha!) in solving the issue. I'm glad to see everything resolved, and hope an issue like this doesn't pop up in the future!

Anthem's releasing a new album this spring and they've apparently fully embraced the "we sing entirely in English now" direction which I feel is a shame because I'm so used to their lyrics being like 80% in Japanese and 20% in English...
Music is as classic heavy metal as it can get though, that has not changed

do you have any plans to upload your music to spotify? or are you sticking with exclusively bandcamp
I'll be honest, the majority of my music is so niche that I don't think I'd actually gain anything from it being on spotify
well, at least not enough to make up for the potential headache of navigating legal issues that start arising when you use distributors
it mostly boils down to the fact that I despise copyright systems and enjoy having the freedom to just do whatever without worrying whether some mentholated cunt in a suit is trying to DMCA teenagers for using my song in the background of their minecraft stream or something
I may eventually look into it, but it's not likely unless I decide to start playing in more viable genres one of these days and reevaluate the value there (can't write this off)
in the meantime, as long as you link back to the bandcamp page, I don't make a point of looking for people reuploading my music onto youtube. I do ask with peace and love that you not monetise videos that are just my compositions, but I'd hope that's self explanatory lol

targeted boycotts are as we know the most efficient and this isn’t me calling for a boycott, but to keep people informed below the cut are lists of kpop artists with affiliations to labels mentioned on zionistsinmusic on twitter
UMG (under an american umbrella label it owns or has joint shares in highup ent [kor releases only], yg ent [bp kor releases only], the black label [somi and taeyang's kor releases only]; under capitol music group it owns or has joint shares in sm ent; under republic it owns or has joing shares in big hit [txt kor releases only], jype [twice, skz, and itzy's kor releases only], under universal music japan it has u-cube a "joint venture with" cube ent, virgin music > republic records > used as an imprint for txt jp releases; through third party distribution umg is affiliated with yuehua ent) - 4minute, apink, ateez, beast, bigbang, blackpink, boys republic (actually managed by umg), btob, bts, dean, everglow, snsd, infinite, iu, iz*one, kep1er, lim youngwoong, loona (japan), miss a (since 2012), monsta x, nct 127, p1harmony, psy (since 2012), rainbow, stray kids, shinee, somi, stayc, super junior, t-ara, the rose, triples, tri.be, twice, txt, wonder girls, xikers, and zerobaseone
note: a lot of these have (south korea) next to the name, i don’t know if that means they only have a deal for that country because other artists like stray kids and lim youngwoong don’t have that specification
REPUBLIC (owned by umg) - itzy, nayeon, nmixx, stray kids, txt, tri.be, twice, vcha
SONY (owns columbia, wakeone, dreamcatcher company; distributes modhaus, chrome ent, kq ent, starship, top media, wakeone, wm ent) - riize, ive, ateez, bts, brown eyed girls, wjsn, crayon pop, dreamcatcher, everglow, exid, monsta x's i.m (astrisked, can't find why), kep1er, lim youngwoong, stayc, tfn/t1419, the rose, triples, wings, xikers, zerobaseone

ATLANTIC (owned by warner) - got7, iu, kep1er, loossemble, p1harmony, sf9
as always if any of this information is incorrect or outdated, please feel free to correct me in a reblog or an ask and i'll update the information in this post. i'll try to keep up with any new companies that are brought up on the twitter account mentioned at the beginning of this post. i'm not here to call for a boycott of every artist mentioned here because i don't feel i am in the position to do so, but i'm not discouraging you from choosing to do so. in fact i encourage you to listen to these artists unofficially at the very least.
i'm not sure the extent to which these companies get revenue from these artists, i don't know if it's just streams or if other things like merch sales and youtube views contribute but quite a few of these artists' companies are being boycotted currently or in the near future anyway, so i would suggest you not buy any merch or watch youtube videos officially from them. this post has more info on downloading music, youtube videos (with subtitles), and the boycotts i mentioned so i hope you all will check that out too. tris @bandzboy has also been posting about and sharing twitter posts about zionism in music, especially in the kpop industry so i suggest you check out her blog as well

Hey Lovelies. Been a lot of excitement today, certainly a lot going on! Rhys' birthday week, actual footage of something in Lochness, podcasts, billboards and movies, oh my! I know some of us are struggling a bit with some personal stuff, it's a hard time out there. It hits harder too when you get all this fun dopamine from the internet, then you turn around and look back at normal life and things are tough. Remember to be kind to yourself lovelies. Things aren't always going to go the way you plan or want. It's okay if you can't get out of bed today. It's okay if you scroll on your phone and get your dopamine from goofy ass pictures of celebrities. It's okay if you get up and you brush your teeth, but just can't make your breakfast. Eat something simple. Drink some water, lay down for a while. Little things build to big things. If you can't do laundry today because you don't have the spoons/motivation, then don't do laundry today. Just remember to change your underwear if you have some clean ones cause you don't wanna get a UTI. If all you can do today is exist, you're doing great. You're doing better than great, you're fantastic. Tomorrow you can do a little bit more, or a little less, depending on what you need. Just be kind to yourself and give yourself grace; the world is hard enough as it is, you don't need to beat yourself up for struggling with very real issues. Thank you all for making the past few weeks tolerable, I appreciate that so much. It's keeping my brain chemistry in a spot that's healthier than is used to be. I hope you all know just how wonderful you truly are, and that me and the rest of the crew are rooting for you every day. We're here, we love you <3 Stay well.

Thinking about Physical media
-I was thinking randomly today about pizza tower if it had a physical copy because i had a thought once of 'what if steam just, stops working?'. And watching Jacob Geller's video about 'How can we afford to throw anything away'. Physical media is important.
-I know its easy and convenient to just save a bunch of stuff in online libraries and call it a day but listen. This stuff can go away at any point if the owners decide they don't want to distribute it anymore. Like how Warner is doing now with their games on steam.
-Remember the Unity thing? I remember unity devs actually thinking of removing their titles from steam because of how shit that deal was and how it could have fucked them over. That would mean no Hollow Knight, no Tunic, no Amongus ect.
-We live in a time where digital distributors can remove their products from digital platforms and there's nothing we can do about it. And I know it takes time and sometimes even more money to go get physical media but at least give it some thought. Pick some favorite things you like. Books, games, music ect. and go out there and get some physical copies.
Also here some links.
youtube
Not exactly a place to get physical copy of the game, but it is official merch' at least.

Congrats to TDP Season 6 teaser reaching one million views today! Conveniently found the soundtrack same time as well!!
Tumblr media
Ahhh!!! Had been looking for the soundtrack for a few months and finally found it!! 😭😭😭 This was one of the hardest soundtracks to find. The other one is Season 4's series trailer soundtrack, which I'm still searching for.
🎵 Anyways, here's the soundtrack — not available on streaming platforms unfortunately — and the trailer down below if you want to compare. 🎶
youtube
The soundtrack was made by Pennybank Tunes! They do not upload to streaming platforms so it's difficult for the various software I've been using to search for it. I've mostly finished up finding all the music used in @dragonprinceofficial's trailers, teasers, and other promo videos. Perhaps, I'll be able to get that list out soon if I can find the last song needed. 😢
Usually, soundtracks we get from them are more alive, fast, and hyper. 🔥 This is definitely one of the slowest tracks TDP has added to their collection and the music gets a little funky/scratchy? later on so it might not be fitting to your style. It's also pretty old, released in 2014. (⊙ˍ⊙) They most likely found it with all the keywords in the tags, especially our totally favorite word: "mYstERioUs" but strangely, it's also in the "ocean" category with "documentary" in the distributors' stores. 💙 But seriously, finding the s6 trailer music better not be as hard as this one. 🩵

Game Pile: Ouendan (Video)
Watch this video on YouTube
Thumbnail and script below the fold!
February is Smooch Month, a month dedicated to considering media that falls under the heading of smoochy. Things that are about relationships, forming relationships, building or deepening relationships, and things where a romantic relationship is important. This presents challenges because it might not surprise you, but in videogames, despite their breadth of content, haven’t done as much with this element of human interaction as you might think. Oh, there are a lot of games about romance, and a lot of them handle it in a linear or systemic way I dislike a lot. For all sorts of common cultural reasons you might be familiar with, romance in videogames tends to be about an agent pursuing an object and getting it. Super Mario Bros and onwards. Or Donkey Kong if you want.
None of this is to say that ‘all games that try to be about romance are bad,’ but there are a lot of games that are more or less replicating the same basic idea, existing in a binary between a language maze or an entirely unrelated linear story. What’s more, often romances aren’t depicted as if they express a relationship as an interested interaction between two parties who both want something. And this is pretty strange when you consider how much art has been made on this idea and how many forms that art has taken.
Like pop music.
Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan is a game whose name you don’t have to shout but come on, you should want to, you should be shouting in your heart, that is the original progenitor of a game you might have heard of called Elite Beat Agents. It’s a rhythm game on the NDS and 3DS, so the unique interface of the console presented designers with new(ish) opportunities to make a type of rhythm game. You tap the screen in time and place to correspond with the flow and movement of the music, and that’s kind of it.
(In a lot of ways, Ouendan as a game is a thing that benefits immensely from the material realities of what the DS is.)
If you know what a rhythm game is, you probably can work out how to play Ouendan in just a few minutes, even across the language barrier for non-Japanese speakers. In fact, it was that accessibility in part that led to the game being picked up in the west, and enjoyed so much we got a American localised version of the same game, Elite Beat Agents. This was in fact so much of a thing that at the end of the credits for Ouendan 2, there’s a thank you note in English. That approachability is only part of the reason why you can play Ouendan without literacy, though; another element is that the NDS doesn’t have region locking, so you can just buy a Japanese copy, jam it in your Belgian NDS (I assume you have one of those) and it’s going to work, rather than requiring you to pay distributors in your country. This meant that this game, in all the ways it’s very Japanese is available for you to experience without changing anything about what it is, its cultural framework, and its visions of what it wants to say in a story told through its particular framing device.
Because that framing device, to a common western audience member like me, seems at first impression to be bananas. In Ouendan, you are finding people who need help, then helping them. What kind of people? Well, you might help a kid with their university entrance exams. You might inspire a noodle shop cook to get over his problems with a stray cat. You might bring back the dead for one last dance. You might help a kid avoid wetting the bed in his sleep, or fight a virus or help Cleopatra build the pyramids. The first game culminates in the Ouendan saving the world from an asteroid strike through the power of rock and roll.
What’s important about this, though, is that in each of these stories, you aren’t playing the people who the story is about. You’re playing cheerleaders.
And you may be visualising something from your own perspective, and yes, you can unlock those, those are an option, but in Ouendan, you are not playing a western style cheerleader squat. You’re playing an Ouendan troupe: Which is to say, heavily masculine, disciplined cheer leaders who do ferocious poses, stomps, claps, whistles and shouts. This is a proud, established style of cheerleading in Japan. Manly cheerleading. In Ouendan, you play Ouendan who are more specifically, school toughs wearing gakuran and with all the signifiers of delinquents.
These roaming bands of goons find people who need help, burst into the scene in sometimes wildly inappropriate ways, and cheer them on to do their best. You are not competing for the exams; you want the person who is competing for the exams to know they can do their best. You are not capturing the bank robber, you are encouraging the horse to capture the bank robber because you believe in them.
It’s a great game.
It comes to my mind so often when I think about trying to find games for Smooch Month. Games about relationships, about expressing the forming and maintaining of a relationship in some way that doesn’t end when the characters express interest in them? They’re pretty rare. I could find more games about rescuing a dog than I could find about working with a partner!
(Don’t mention It Takes Two to me.)
That’s why I came back to this classic rhythm game, OSU! TATAKAE! OUENDAN!
There are some love stories in Ouendan. There’s a classic one where an Office Lady wants to date the Office Hunk (did you know sometimes those can be boys?) and the culmination of their story is her getting his attention in a literal Cinderella ref, backed by the probably somewhat culturally insensitive Koi no Dansu Saito. There’s also the story in Over the Distance, which is about a ghost coming back from heaven to apologise to his wife for the fight they had just before he died. It’s nice that there’s this bookending between these two types of relationship stages – a beginning and, sadly, an end.
It’s not the one that makes me think of Ouendan! in smooch month though. Melody, one of the early levels, is set in a Matsuri festival, where the person we’re helping wants to Win At Doing The Festival race, because that will get him respect and get the permission of a girl’s crappy dad to marry her. So far so Mario, woman as prize, right?
Now I pulled deep to find this game because I think this successfully breaks a lot of my problems with videogame romances. First, you don’t control the agents in the romance; you’re not the boy or the girl, and your relationship to the other has nothing to do with how well you play the game. These two characters are into each other, and their reactions to how well you play is how well you get them towards a goal they both want (where they want to get married). You want to do well, because you want them to have their chance to get married (and you get a rewarding tish sound). They are dating. They are in love, and they are being obstructed by her dad in this one instance. The girl isn’t the reward and the guy isn’t your character – she’s one of the participants. Your victory is not Him Getting Something, it’s Them getting what they want, because they set up a game event.
It’s a sweet story, it’s about something nice, and in amongst all these games I’ve been digging through to find just a romance that didn’t make me clutch my insides. Like you can read the dad as doing a thing that implies ownership of his daughter’s options for marriage, but even then he gets involved after the boy racer says that he’ll propose when he wins. In that case, it almost looks like the father is in on the game, because he wants the Matsuri competition to be a competition.
What’s more, everyone thinks he’s being a dick — strangers get involved and join in and help our protagonists. He goes from carrying the Matsuri on his own, and then, inspired by that, school kids and old folks and tourists all join in on the race. If you succeed, then the father in law is super happy because he sees it as a good omen for their marriage! It’s not ‘you shall not marry my daughter,’ it’s ‘well, do a proper Matsuri race then.’ At the very end, he’s not grumbling that this man stole his daughter from him; he’s joyfully attending their wedding.
And you know what happens when you fail?
They don’t get married and you failed. That’s it. She doesn’t leave him. The relationship is not contingent on the Matsuri race, just the father blessing them here. They were in a relationship beforehand, and there’s no reason that ends. The story doesn’t need to make this event the contingent requirement for the romance.
And that’s nice!
It can be a big story moment for these two, where you get to show up and encourage them to their best. It’s not told as if this is the make-or-break, it’s not told as if this
Incidentally, I did consider doing this with Elite Beat Agents instead, because, you know, it’s slightly more available and didn’t get a sequel. Thing is, it’s uh, it’s not got a story like this one in it. The closest we get to this song is Queen’s I Was Born To Love You, which shows us Leonardo Da Vinci harrassing Mona Lisa until she agrees to pose for him as a model, which is so much worse as a story.
Check it out on PRESS.exe to see it with images and links!

hello!!
is it (legally) required to have some sort of permission to upload or publish remixes of hazbin hotel songs?
Short answer yes, long answer it depends what you mean by publish, and I love that I get in the weeds with music business stuff.
So - the recordings themselves and all pieces of them, like the instrumental stems and vocals, are all part of the A24-owned “master recordings” which you cannot use or sample or remix without a license from them. Technically you could make an un-monetized video or tiktok or something and probably won’t get in trouble for it, but they’ll have the rights to monetize it or take it down. Spotify/distrokid/any form of real distribution you for sure cannot do without a license.
That’s remixes - but covers are interesting. You can actually formally distribute song covers thanks to something called a “mandatory mechanical license” whereby if your distributor gives you the option (I know distrokid does) you can mark that the song is a cover, and it’ll fetch a cover license (which are generally automatically approved) from (usually) the Harry Fox Agency in the US. Now this does NOT give you permission to remix, interpolate, change, or put the song to video - THAT requires a license from the master recording owner (as described above) as well as the copyright owner (song copyright ownership is also known as ‘publishing’). This is how Taylor Swift was able to re-record her “Taylor’s Versions” of songs - she didn’t have control over her master recordings, but because she owned the copyright to those songs, she was able to make new master recordings from scratch.
Ultimately fanmade remixes often do not get taken down or get copyright strikes unless the remix in question is being monetized and distributed to platforms, because generally it is in content owners’ interest to allow social media users to make “UGC” (user generated content) as ultimately it’s more attention to that piece of music, but it IS up to the content owner’s discretion to decide to take action against it or not - and sometimes systems like YouTube’s Content ID will flag and fingerprint that content automatically without the content owner needed to see or ID the thing you made.
And unfortunately I cannot personally help anyone get cover or remix licenses to the Hazbin songs, that’s all A24 Music - I’ve been getting a lot of emails to that effect and I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful there.
Hope this was informative!

[ARTICLE] Netflix picks up MAMAMOO K-pop doc for Southeast Asian premiere
Tumblr media
Netflix has picked up MAMAMOO: Where Are We Now, a documentary about the K-pop girl group, for premiere in Southeast Asia.
Produced by ZanyBros and distributed by TVF International, the title is available as a 1 x 120-minute special or 4 x 24-minute series.
With exclusive access, the doc follows the South Korean pop group’s journey from debut to global triumph, culminating in their world tour, which will bring them to the US this summer.
The acquisition comes as Netflix prepares to go all-in on South Korean content, with co-CEO Ted Sarandos last month revealing that the streaming giant plans to spend $2.5bn in programming from the country over the next four years.
This in turn followed the January unveiling of a huge slate of 34 new and returning South Korean titles, including drama Bloodhounds and true crime doc In the Name of God: A Holy Betrayal.
Commenting on the Mamamoo doc, Serafina Pang, sales manager at TVF International, said: “With K-pop taking the world by storm, Mamamoo stands as an unmissable documentary. It celebrates the group’s bold personalities, boundless creativity, and ground-breaking impact on the traditional stereotype of K-pop artists.”
“This Mamamoo documentary series is the outcome of ZanyBros’s 20 years’ experience in producing K-pop content, such as music videos, concerts, reality shows and more,” added ZanyBros, Kim Joon Hong.
“We couldn’t be happier with the fact that it has been picked by such a seasoned distributor as TVF international and will have the opportunity to tell the true story of these K-pop artists and their footprint around the world.”

03-31 (CST) ZSJ Songs, Golden Shield, and Hewitt Space Notes
This was a space held to go over recent events, ie. the song releases, the incident with Golden Shield, Hewitt, and some recent minor attacks on Gong Jun. [Recording]
Quick Plug: Harry is organizing a video of well wishes for Zhang Zhehan for his birthday, please consider joining in! [info]
Song Releases
Three of the songs that have been released were known about by October 2021 and were likely written for the concert Zhang Zhehan was planning before 813. The other three are believed to be from the Zhang Sanjian period, in which case they are likely made using deepfake tech.
This month the YoYoRock YouTube channel was made to take down Zhang Zhehan’s old songs that had been released from Xinxi.
Radio stations that played the ZSJ songs introduced Zhang Zhehan generally as someone who had been blacklisted in China and is trying to make a comeback. Some of the stations have also been posting about the songs on their websites.
No interview has been played by any of the radio stations, anything you see of people referring to one is only short old soundbites.
Since the point where iTunes shut them down for artificially manipulating engagement, the ZSJ team seems to have given up on that aim and are now focusing on YouTube and KK Box (Taiwanese streaming service).
For one week on KK Box they put the distributer as someone else, which was tracked to a friend of Xie Yihua’s who has ties to CAPA. The address of this distributor was found and is actually the friend’s residential address on the outskirts of Taipei.
Videos of Surround on YouTube were attributed to a UK company named Kitahara for a long time. In February this was removed. QuelleVous looked into it and found that the song had been relinquished by Kitahara after YouTube(? sorry I think I missed something here) discovered that they were not the rights holders.
Whalers have been saying the new songs are released by Shanghai Ranyi music, supposedly associated with Zhang Mama. One of the social media accounts for this used to belong to Xie Yihua, and YoYoRock is the distributor still getting claims for the songs on YouTube.
Fan uploads of Zhang Zhehan’s old songs are still up on YouTube, YoYoRock specifically has been barred from posting them. Whoever is the owner of the songs claimed them back and removed YoYoRock’s rights; it’s likely this was Zhang Zhehan or someone closely related to him, since there is no logical monetary incentive for Xinxi to request their removal.
One of the radio stations was Fairchild, located in Canada. A voice clip passed around social media had the Fairchild logo. A fan later clairifed was an edit she had made with voice clips from 2020. [thread about this]
Blue contacted Fairchild’s promotions director about the voice clip. They said there had been a misunderstanding, they never included the clip in their promotions; their own promotions were a news article and a spoken blurb by a radio host, not Zhang Zhehan.
Blue was also told that this blurb was provided by Global Hits, an associate of Chinese radio stations that heads Hits FM, which has also been promoting the songs, as well as other stations that have been promoting them.
The promotions director had no knowledge about the Zhang Zhehan voice clip, was very shocked, and said she was going to pass it on to Global Hits and another station that had played the songs.
Fairchild said that they never spoke with Zhang Zhehan or his team, only the radio association.
It’s been found that at least some of the overseas billboards have not been up for as long as was claimed.
Golden Shield and Li Xuezheng
A reminder that all Golden Shield social media accounts were for Qingdao Golden Shield. Many Golden Shields exist that have no connections to each other. Peng Lihu is a shareholder in Qingdao Golden Shield. (Previous info about this: [1] [2])
Qingdao Golden Shield was contracted for the marketing for Roving Inspection Team; Li Xuezheng used to work for Golden Shield Television.
The Cloud Institute account appeared last year after Li Xuezheng was muted, registered to Peng Lihu’s company and definitely run by Peng Lihu.
Cloud Institute posted a spiel claiming to be exposing an official in the government’s propaganda department, supposedly from Li Xuezheng.
The Golden Shield Television website posted the same notice shortly after. It was previously believed this website was legitimately related to Li Xuezheng and it possibly used to belong to Golden Shield Publishing.
The IP address for the site at the point when this notice was posted was located in Hong Kong and owned by a Tencent subsidiary in Singapore, it makes no sense for that to be the case for a site still being run by Golden Shield Publishing since they are domestically oriented.
Hong Kong IP addresses target foreign audiences more than mainland Chinese, as being hosted outside of mainland China makes it take longer to load. Chinese fans who tried to load the website had to wait a really long time due to this.
The website was also unsecured.
When Li Xuezheng was muted in January 2021, this website posted a notice from him. At that time, no one reported the site as being unusually slow (as far as anyone in the space could remember, at least).
The person who signed up for the website’s hosting site is not part of Golden Shield Publishing, but another Golden Shield.
On the same day of the notice, shortly after, Li Xuezheng’s Baidu page was removed. It’s believed Li Xuezheng removed it himself to avoid malicious edits being made to it. The Roving Inspection Team Baidu was edited to remove Li Xuezheng’s name, with this being done by the same editor who had edited Xie Yihua’s page during 813.
Li Xuezheng and the official’s Chinese Wikipedia pages were edited to include the incident. An editor from Hong Kong who was not registered as a Wikipedia editor initially added very basic facts, then very shortly after a high level editor came in to edit it properly and included Epoch Times as a source (along with several other uncredible “sources”.)
These tactics are aimed at overseas audiences, and are seemingly trying to turn it into an international anti-China incident.
Keep in mind that CAPA hires journalists and have shown that they are very good at manufacturing narratives using news media.
Since the day after the incident, Golden Shield Publishing has released legal notices. The first was that Golden Shield Television had been dissolved and they would sue anyone attempting to speak as them. Peng Lihu quickly changed the Weibo accounts to include Qingdao, removed the Golden Shield trademark from their pfps, and the website was taken down.
Peng Lihu was muted by the CAC for six months across platforms.
Peng Lihu’s boss recently bought a mansion despite the fact that she was in a financial dispute until early this year.
Most if not all of the social media claiming to be Golden Shield are not and have not been legitimately associated with them.
Fake screenshots of Li Xuezheng’s WeChat friend circle posts have been passed around by whalers. The person who initially posted these participated in the slander during 813 on the same account and has still not taken those posts down.
There was recently a notice put up by an industry association saying they were kicking Li Xuezheng out. This is on the same authority level as CAPA (aka none.) Articles about Li Xuezheng on government websites have not been affected in any way.
It seems like this was possibly an attempt at something like 813, indicating that something is likely happening in the background. The “Righteous Passerby” accounts are also trying to encourage some of the fan behaviours associated with 813 and 1123. Tags have been made and quickly nuked, and it’s likely they attempted to buy hotsearches but were thankfully stopped by someone.
Hewitt
QuelleVous found an account through other people in the scam gang full of foot pics trying to claim to be Zhang Zhehan.
Another account, Hewitt, was also posting many of the same photos at the same time.
The account claiming to be Zhang Zhehan was using a pfp photo of the fake dad from the fake girlfriend slander—Hewitt and fake dad are not the same person.
The feet pics match up with the feet photo posted by the Instagram from the driving range (aka Hewitt is the Zhang Sanjian body double Sophie banged in the changeroom.)
A number of his photos were taken in the same pre-furnished apartment complex Zhang Zhehan used to rent from, with this room used for some of the fake Lufei photos. Items on the coffee table were the same in photos between accounts.
Hewitt was very quick to deregister his accounts after QuelleVous revealed him.
He travels between Shanghai and Shenzhen fairly often.
His surname is Chen, it’s not known if he’s related to the other Chens.
He has other social media accounts that have not been revealed yet, if he behaves himself they will not be.
Gong Jun and the Elie Saab suit
The Vogue vlog not only happening but also being edited and posted within the same day shows that they really like him.
After Gong Jun attended Weibo Night, there were anti attacks on brand posts of his Elie Saab suit.
Elie Saab recently started making men’s haute couture and Gong Jun possibly the first man to wear a custom piece by them. Some people have been trying to question whether it’s actually haute couture (fashion expert QuelleVous assures that it is.)
Some people were trying to claim it was not fully custom made but was remade from a women’s outfit, which doesn’t really make sense given he’s definitely bigger than most women.
The suit was the highest designation of Elie Saab’s custom clothing, which would have taken three fittings and was made by people from their Parisian atelier.
QuelleVous suspects the fighting is possibly orchestrated by Weibo to increase engagement. She advises not to engage with it, brands don’t like it.
You have to be invited to wear haute couture, you can’t just go and request it.
