Obey Me OC #4 - Auriel (Uriel)

I've officially decided that Uri is my favorite OC that I've made in a while. <3 A truly spectacular sunshine boi. Literally as bright as the sun. Here's some headcanons about him because I just love him that much.

-No one really calls him Auriel unless they are a very old friend/acquaintance, or unless he's in trouble with them

-Most angels know him as Uriel, but those closest to him call him Uri

-Uriel is a Dominion in angel ranks, though he hasn't actually been to the Human Realm in quite some time

-Older than both Lucifer and Simeon. He's been around for a looooonnnng time. Doesn't look it though! In human years, he looks about 26.

-Has a soft, higher pitched voice that's both easy on the ears and inviting; his singing voice is just as soft and lovely, and he's an essential part of the a cappella Celestial Choir (he sings both alto and soprano)

-He's got four wings in total, each made of shining aureate feathers that glimmer and radiate rays of light

-Anyone who's met him will say that being around him feels like lying down in a golden field of soft wheat under the warm sun (he gives off very pleasant vibes)

-Very friendly and charismatic, but also somehow calm like...all the time. Is a really good listener and will give very sound advice. Sometimes makes good natured jokes with the ones he's closest to (at no one else's expense)

-If you look directly into his amber colored eyes for too long, your eyesight becomes blurry temporarily due to a particular angelic power of his; it's better to stare at the many golden freckles dotted underneath them instead

-As far as angelic powers go, Auriel has the ability to Know Things without having been told or shown. Sometimes he has very detailed knowledge, and sometimes it's very vague. This gift is not the same as being able to tell the future and is vastly different from Barbatos's unique power.

-While it's not an angelic power per se, Uri is well known for crafting with his hands in all sorts of endeavors. Painting and cooking are his favorite hobbies, but metalworking is his passion

-Along those lines, he often creates Celestial Realm jewelry, weapons, and objects as he sees fit. Some of these objects include Asmo's Magic Mirror (that threw Muse into the Parallel Realm for a short period of time), Muse's Ring Of Light and Solomon's Ring of Wisdom (ironically meant to be a pair worn in matrimony), the angelic bangles, The Still-Water Basin, and Michael's sword.

-He sees things objectively about 95% of the time. If Auriel involves himself in a situation or takes somebody's side specifically in the matter, it usually means things have gotten entirely off track or that things are completely off balance from where they should be. He does not act without good reason.

-He's a lover, not a fighter. While he can defend himself if and when necessary, he would much rather prefer to make a compromise or come to an understanding verbally before ever raising a single finger towards anyone, and luckily he excels in doing just that. There is seldom a situation he cannot handle or solve diplomatically.

Ooc: I read somewhere that the Hist itself is like a massive computer that basically uses Argonians to experience Nirn and collect stuff to one day return to the Hist itself to catalogue

And some I guess theorize that the Hist is attempting to create its own universe free from cycles and Kalpas or whatever

Like something independent from the Dream of A God thing that Nirn has apparently got going on

Therefore, Dreams-of-Waterfalls is something I was picturing based on a superstition I read about Black Marsh natives. They believe that an Argonian that has not touched the Hist has not been given a soul.

I ran with that like, Akatosh/Auriel helped the "soulless" Skyrim native Argonian, by replacing their soul with a piece of their own. I also kinda joke/reference about how lizards need to bask, by having Falls revere the sun and Auriel. They don't feel it would be entirely respectful to outwardly claim Auriel as a personal deity, but they make the pilgrimage to the Chantry sometimes. Mainly to visit Gelebor. (They're a bit guilty about how many snow elves theyve had to kill exploring Dwarven ruins for treasure. The Sun Hallowed Arrows are always nice though, since they are pretty militant about destroying undead.)

2. Which cities do they prefer to stay in and why? Which cities to they avoid at all costs?

Zephyra is most comfortable in Riften and Morthal, Riften because she grew up there and Morthal because she’s the thane and it’s where she spends most of her time when she’s not on the road. She hates Markarth. Fuck that place and fuck the fuckers who fucking built it.

Auriel truthfully doesn’t have a particular city he prefers, he was raised in Markarth so he knows it best, but he doesn’t care. You won’t catch him in whiterun for more than an hour MAX though.

Asriel, like Auriel, doesn’t give much of a fuck. He lives in Falkreath hood so that’s where he tends to stick around… but otherwise he doesn’t care too much. He’s not a fan of Dawnstar, and he resents that the Dark Brotherhood got moved there after the attack on the Falkreath hold.

9. Do they believe in snow/sky whales?
