The room was silent, the only thing that could be heard was quiet tapping of Chadwicks leg against the floor in his nervous state that he desperately tried to hide. He was seated in large, comfortable chair pushed against wooden table, facing King Ben in a not so friendly manor. Ben had a guilty but firm grimace plastered on his face. His posture was stiff as if he wasn't sure what exactly was he doing. The three VKs behind him made it feel otherwise.
"I'm not saying you're a villain, Chad. But you have to understand that this is good for you. The VKs are here, and they're here to stay. Mal and I - we've decided that it would do you better if you would have a home study for now, you know. Maybe it will give you some time to think, to calm down. It's probably for the best."
Chadwick would have called him out, telling him that this is nonsense. The two pirates with the Tourney player were glaring at him, Hook smirking as if he could feel Blonds nervousness. And to be true, Chad was scared, and even tho he tried hard to hide it, his body was failing him, his ticks were showing. His leg couldn't stop tapping, and he clutched all of his muscles for his head and hands to stop the sudden moves. He was uncomfortable, and hurting. Migraine was spiking behind his eyes and the lights in the office were piercing him apart.
"Do you agree to these- Um.."
"Concequences of your actions." Helped Carlos from his place on a plushy sofa hiding behind a tablet. "Yes. The concequences of your actions?"
He wanted to scream, to shout, to tear the whole world apart and do it again and again until it crumbles so much it cannot be pulled or pieced back together. Instead, he just nodded pushing all of these thoughts away, leaving him in some wierd sort of emptiness. He took a paper that was given to him, sighing it without really reading it. He stood up, putting on a bright fake smile, he shook Ben's hand and walked out of castle. He felt numb, weightly thinking about his father's anger when he finds out he's exiled out of school to distance learning. He couldn't even imagine how could he possibly learn anything, but he isn't going to say anything to the newer king, not when, with VKs on the throne, he could be thrown in the prison or even get the death penalty. All he got was a slap on his wrist and lonely education.
Chad looked longingly at a group of friends he was walking around. They were talking, laughing. He couldn't bear the thought of not being able to have fun like this with his classmates. At least he still has Turney. One thing he could bet on, they wouldn't left him, or throw him aside. He was shuffling with his hands, looking at them. He didn't understand what he did wrong, after all, he did everything right, didn't he? Why only did Ben with the VKs thought this was suitable punishment?
He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding as a door of his empty dorm room fell shut. Peace at least. And quiet, maybe too quiet... So loud it's sickening. He wanted to scream, not sure if it was to disstroy the silence or to somehow express the pain and betrail he was feeling. The air in the room as if suffocating him from doing so. He thought about going out, but it was late and he didn't feel like getting up. In fact, he did the exact opposite, as he laid down in his bed, hugging his soft pillow closer to his body. Breathing deeply, he tried to calm himself enough to fall into sleep effortlessly. He laid there with his eyes closed but sleep just wasn't taking him. Looking at the time, it was already after midnight. Sighing, he sat up taking a laptop in his lap, he doesn't need to wake up to school tomorrow anyway. Putting on 'The Class' and relaxed, letting a drama play out in front of him, he grabbed snack from his night stand and let his mind turn off.

things had been quiet, too quiet. he could feel the all too familiar tension settle between his shoulders, the restless unease of things becoming too comfortable, too pleasant. there were no conflicts, the other pirating crews were surprisingly content, the neighboring gangs and factions busy tending to their own affairs, too wrapped in their own dealings to care enough to intrude on theirs. even auradon was suspiciously docile during court talks and for them peace may have meant rest and relaxation, but for someone like harry, it might as well have been a death sentence for how fucking boring it was.
❝ let's rob snow whites treasury, ❞ harry said as way of greeting to his younger sister. he was itching to do something, and he only had so many vices to call on. he was so bored that hitting something would do nothing for him, fucking would only last as long as he did and then that boredom would return with vengeance. he could kill something, but he doubted uma would be happy about it. so that left steal. he'd stolen from everyone on the isle at least once already but he'd only stolen from a handful of people in auradon and snow, well, he didn't like her.

Maul, the Spider
clone wars masterlist here
reader insert list here
you find maul on lotho minor after happening across his transmission. primal instincts have taken over after years of constant pain, but he stops short of making you his next meal when your force signature greets his so kindly.
You looked down into the darkness and wished it wouldn't keep making your skin prickle. The voice from the distress call you accidentally latched onto while trying to navigate the tricky Wazta sector was raspy and pained; there was no way you could ignore it. Lotho Minor was the junk planet, everyone knew that, so how did the nameless man end up there in the first place? You would have to locate him to learn anything and it was becoming more difficult by the minute.
The endless heaps of trash made for dangerous terrain. You were thankful for the protection your flight suit and helmet provided but the acrid fog still made your head spin. The day old transmission had come from this section of the planet, though it was almost impossible to know if you were heading in the right direction. Your ship was on autopilot, hovering right above a much larger freighter that had obviously crashed there long ago. You weren't going to risk landing and having it fall through the precarious piles. Most of the various caverns and trenches you'd passed via your jetpack seemed to be the result of such slip ups, and you stared down into one of them with no lack of trepidation.
"Hello? Is anyone there?"
Despite not seeing any heat signatures on your wrist pad, it just felt right to call out. You hoped that only the man you were looking for would answer. A low sound floated up from your left and you gasped, flying toward an even bigger opening in the mountainous junk heaps.
"Are you the one who sent that distress call?"
Sharp scuttling echoed off the metal but there was still no verbal response. You scanned for heat signatures again and found the barest trace of a humanoid figure so you flew closer and began to unroll a durasteel cable you typically used for pulling yourself out of places rather than others. The winds were beginning to pick up and sling bits of debris at you and your ship, so you cursed at it and decided going down might be better in this instance than bringing him up. Carefully, you descended using your jet pack until the refuse was too cramped to do so safely. Cable in one hand, attached to a heavy piece of junk up above, you gripped your blaster in the other just in case. You'd heard stories about fire breathing droids and more organic life forms mutated by the acid rain and permeating hopelessness of the planet.
More scrabbling and another low growl drew you further into the pit. You spoke in your usual tone of voice so as not to scare the man, "I heard your transmission and I'm here to get you out. I know you have no reason to trust me, but I couldn't just abandon you on this pile of trash."
The man was no longer moving, but you knew he was there. His heat signature was only a few yards away and you backed up to give him more space. Strangely, it looked as though he was hovering; a small body suspended in the air somehow. He had to have heard you but the silence stretched on. Sighing, you offered your name and reason for being in the area, telling him about your day and how awful it had been just trying to get through Lotho Minor's atmosphere. The glowing figure on your wrist pad shuffled a bit closer so you kept rambling about what you planned to buy once you finally got to Koda Station and described the place itself. Eventually a pair of golden eyes peeked through the near total darkness and your sentence trailed off.
"You are...not what I expected." It was the same raspy voice, no doubt about it.
"Does that mean you'll let me get you out of here? We don't have to go to Koda if you don't want to."
Still obscured by shadow, you heard him murmur, "Fortunate...to have such a steady signature."
Confused, you shifted under his gaze, "You can see my heat signature?"
"No, little one. No, no, I see your energy and it does not lie," he stepped, or rather loomed forward just a foot or two so the rest of his red and black face was visible, "Come closer."
A single beam of dim sunlight penetrated the darkness between you. Shuddering at the pleased tone he'd taken on, you stepped back instead, "Not until you do."
A wiry limb of twisted metal tapped its way toward you, but he didn't give you anything more, "You cannot hide from me, little one."
"I could say the same to you," the curiosity was starting to become frustration, "At least tell me your name."
Another spindly limb joined the first, "Maul." He spit out the word like it offended him.
You bit back a gasp when you finally saw that he wasn't suspended, but attached to a bunch of scrap metal. "I guess if I'm going to take you with me, we'll both see each other soon enough."
Maul waited for you to take a tentative step closer before leaning further into the light, "Hmmm...a pity I cannot eat a sweet little morsel like you."
Baffled by the flirtation, or at least that's what you thought it was, you looked up into his eyes to gauge his expression. He stared right back, clearly amused. "You'll have to wait until we get on the ship for that." The innuendo was too hard to resist.
A grating laugh made you reach slowly into your belt for a small bottle of water. Wordlessly, you handed it to him. Maul squinted at the label and watched you for a moment before tipping the whole thing into his mouth. He tossed the empty bottle behind him and tapped his way even closer to you.
"Too kind for your own good."
"Maybe so." You sighed and released the cable's grappling hook to let it fall down to you, "I'm not sure how we'll get out of here, unfortunately. Thought I could lift you out with me but you're bigger than I anticipated. We might need to find our way out through these tunnels."
Maul lowered himself to the ground and held out a hand, "I will carry you."
"Uh, I'd rather not put all my trust in you just yet, actually. You did technically threaten to eat me a minute ago and I haven't known you much longer than that."
He narrowed his eyes and scoffed, "You trust me to guide you but not carry you?"
Backed into a corner, you relented with a sigh, "Fine, you win. Be careful, okay?"
Your hand fit into his a little too perfectly and he hefted you onto his back a little too easily. You were forced to catch your breath after such close contact but then he was moving quickly through the tunnels, making you lurch forward and cling to his torso. The turbulent ride was giving you motion sickness so you closed your eyes and hoped Maul would find the surface soon.
The smell greeted you first. Debris was still clanging off each other up above but he kept moving. You absently wondered if your ship would be anywhere nearby or if the two of you would have to climb over top a ton of junk to reach it. Maul's body started to lift in a new way and you opened your eyes to see him struggling to pull you both out of the tunnels. You shot your grapple into a looming hull and pulled yourself out, then offered it to him.
"Take my hand too, this might not be enough."
Warm and calloused, his skin rubbed against yours as Maul clambered over the craggy edge of the tunnel. Seeing him in better light let you realize just how warped he had become from the waist down. He was not the first zabrak you'd met and the arachnid mass of scrap metal was almost as big as he would have been with normal legs. He watched you watch him, anticipating your next move.
Clearing your throat, you tapped your wrist pad and heard a loud chirp from a short distance ahead where your ship was parked. "Ready?"
Maul nodded slowly and followed close behind you. He said nothing as you lowered the cargo ramp and helped him climb in, nor when you hesitated before leaving him in the hold. Once in the cockpit, you accessed the camera in the other room and saw him curl up as well as he could on the floor and close his eyes to sleep. You set a course for Koda Station and started maneuvering the ship off of Lotho Minor while flicking your attention over to the camera every so often to check on Maul. His position never changed but that almost worried you more. What if he didn't make it and you ended up with a huge cyborg corpse that you couldn't easily explain?
A whimper filtered through the cheap microphone and you startled, hurrying to get the ship to a place where autopilot could function so you could go...what? Give him a blanket and tell him everything's okay? Better than nothing, you figured.
You gathered some dried meat, water, a blanket, and a spare commlink. As you approached the cargo hold, a crash and a yelp had you darting to open the door. Maul was curled up even tighter with his head in his hands, moaning in pain. Piling your offerings by the door, you left it open and gently moved closer.
"Maul?" your voice was barely above a whisper but he flinched at the noise, "I brought you some food and other stuff if you want it."
His golden eyes flashed hungrily and you slid the packet of meat across the floor. Devoured in seconds, you rolled the water over next. He watched you as he accepted what you gave him, wariness clouding around him like a shield. You wanted him to trust you, so you took the blanket and commlink over to him, then sat down by his side. Maul growled as you moved closer, but it was more of a warning than a threat. Remaining an arm's distance away, you leaned against the wall and let your gaze wander. When he realized you weren't scrutinizing him, he accepted the rest of your offerings and hid them behind the bulk of his body.
"What will you do when we land?"
It was an innocuous question, but Maul seemed no less guarded. "I will find a better place to hide."
You watched his wiry legs tuck themselves underneath him as he finally got comfortable. "Is there no one I can bring you to? Or even just a different planet?" He sneered in lieu of an answer. "I want to help you find something better than a hiding place, Maul."
Hearing his name made his eyes snap to yours. "Mount Gethzerion. Mother is there...but she may not want to see me."
Occasionally the haze of pain he was clearly in wavered just enough for you to get a glimpse of a real person behind the torment. You wanted to see more of him, so you agreed to take him there. "If she turns you away, we'll just go somewhere else."
"We?" Maul bent to stare straight into your eyes, "There is only me and what I must do to survive."
"You can do more than survive if you want to. You deserve to really live." The tip of your nose was almost touching his and you could feel his warm breath ghost across your cheek. You had to restrain yourself from leaning in further. "I want you to live."
You could see his eyes dilate as you spoke - the only reaction for a long moment. Maul slid himself closer until he had you caged into the corner. You kept your breathing steady and refused to give him the fear he craved. He growled low in your ear and nipped at it with sharp teeth, but you did not back down.
Slowly raising a hand, you gave him time to move away before placing it gingerly on his tattooed cheek. "It's alright, Maul. You're here with me now," you could feel him lean into you a tiny bit and smiled, "We can keep each other safe."
You felt a slight vibration in your palm and realized with delight that he was purring. "Too much trust...far too much."
"You've done nothing to betray me so far and you had plenty of opportunities. And I could use a co-pilot."
Maul wrapped his arms and foremost legs around you, pressing your face to his skin, "I will not lose what is mine. Not anymore."
"You won't. I promise."

poem's/sayings I made myself TW: su!$!d3 mention
One day I will be miles away and when you stop to think why just remember my words... " it's better this way..."
Some people don't realize taking away one thing can change everything... You took away my everything, and he is the only person keeping me here and I can't afford to lose them... I played the dumb ass card and paid the price now i deserve what happened...
Do you ever stop to think... How much people do for you and they are always here to comfort and support you but when they need it the most... They don't get anything in return and sometimes... The little things count...
Let these thoughts sink in...

harry held to the moment, to the way that henry's golden gaze lingered on his. how he sunk back into his chair, how he stared at him. they were two sides of the same coin, raging and wanting and hungry and harry could see their unspoken thing wrapping around them in possibilities endless and exhilarating and burning. he could see it all, see the way that they would consume each other, eaten whole and digested, altered and changed into something darker.
greed and envy snaked itself up his spine as he watched the henry see it all too. harry reached out, hand cupping henry's elbow, fingers caressing his arm through the thin fabric of his shirt. he could feel his body heat, feel the hesitation beneath the surface of his skin, and within the same breath, he read henry's rejection in his gaze as something in them withdrew.
harry sighed, relieved and disappointed all at once. he leaned into henry's hands as they curled into his shirt, he leaned closer, grin matching henry's as he tipped his head to one side and stared at henry's mouth.
❝ be mine, ❞ harry repeated with the same boldness as before, ❝ and i'll be yours, ❞

Finished just in time to enjoy the server slam
Right after the last beta I ended up in a huge Diablo hyperfixation, so I have been drawing my personal Diablo OC's for the past several weeks. I made it a goal to finish the 7 D2 class characters by the server slam and I managed to finish my Paladin exactly at Midnight so hope everyone enjoy's the fanart. I am a little unhappy with my assassin. I think it's a good start but could use serious improvement compared to the others but my inspiration was at a low point when I worked on her. Also my friend drew a wolf helm for Phaelon that hasn't been added yet (but would cover the awesome hair) and I'll be drawing a much more armored version of Faerghas when I finish up my D3 clasees. If this post gets interest I'll try to have them done by launch. I cross posted an resdit too but feel like tumblr may appreciate this more.

Oh Gods I'm In Love
Also on ao3
Tumblr media
A/n: bringing this one over here too because people seem to like this one too and because I think we're all a little desperate for more of this ship.
Fandom: Descendants
Ships: Harry/Audrey, Harry/Uma/Gil, Harry/Audrey/Uma/Gil
Tw: None
Word count: 1476
Summary: Uma and Gil were the only people in the world that he'd shown any part of himself that could be considered weak, because on the Isle, showing that side of yourself to people you couldn't trust meant a knife in the heart. So really, it makes sense that they'd be the only ones to see this odd flustered side of him. With the way they kiss him and praise him and make him giggle till he's red in the face, it's no wonder.
Until the barrier came down, and all of Audrey's prejudice with it.
Or
Harry realizes he's in love with Audrey Rose and has no idea what to do about it.
---
Part 1
Guilt eats him alive, the same way rage bubbles up in his chest when he thinks about her and this whole situation. Here he's got two wonderful people who, for as long as he can remember, were the only people he could really rely on, could really love. And here he sits, still wanting more.
Because suddenly Audrey took his hand in the midst of festive music and smiled at him like he wasn't just a Mad Hook boy. She twirled around him and threw her head back with even the worst of his pick up lines. Her eyes shun with wonder when he pulled out his hook, even when the others around him flinched back, like he was readying himself for battle. He wanted to hate her, if only to get that familiar flutter out of his chest whenever she so much as glances at him. But she makes it impossible, with her windswept hair and her radiant smile. He despises the way it makes him act like such a fool.
He's Harry Hook, feared son of the Neverland captain himself, he's not supposed to trip over himself when he sees a pretty girl. And still he barely stutters out what he can manage whenever she greets him. He's never felt so incompetent. Even in the days he was desperate to prove himself to Uma, even when they realized Gil was meant to be theirs, he had been sturdy. His charms were still vibrant, and even with the manic Hook blood inside of him, he never made a mistake.
But now Audrey has squirmed her way inside his chest and inbetween his ribcage, right into the creases of his heart, and he doesn't know what to do with that.
Uma and Gil were the only people in the world that he'd shown any part of himself that could be considered weak, because on the Isle, showing that side of yourself to people you couldn't trust meant a knife in the heart. So really, it makes sense that they'd be the only ones to see this odd flustered side of him. With the way they kiss him and praise him and make him giggle till he's red in the face, it's no wonder.
Until the barrier came down, and all of Audrey's prejudice with it. She had smiled at him, kind and genuine. No expectations of 'Isle Kid Hook' or 'Monster Villain Kid.' Just a simple smile.
He hasn't been able to stop thinking about her since. It drives him mad.
So the guilt eats him alive, and whenever he kisses Uma, whenever Gil clings to him, he feels like he's betraying them.
So he hides it, tucks it away deep inside and hopes it will just—
Go away.
----
"You're not subtle." Says Uma, legs laid out over Harry's, back against the armrest of their new Auradon couch. "You've been avoiding her like the plague."
She nods to Audrey, sitting on the floor with Gil, showing him what a puzzle is supposed to look like when they actually have all the pieces together. They're laughing and grinning at each other like they're having the time of their lives, far enough away that they can't hear Uma's low voice. Harry very nearly tenses up.
"Maybe I just can't stand the lass." He says instead, not bothering to look away from Audrey. Uma can't help but scoff.
"Right, that's why you can barely speak when she's around."
Harry goes red in the face, hoping that it's not noticeable to anybody but him. "Yer Crazy." He says, barely shifting his eyes to say it.
"Oh I'm crazy." Uma raises an eyebrow and pushes herself off the armrest of the couch, he finally looks at her, "Is that coming from a Hook of all people?" Shes got a smirk plastered on her face, a challenge she's hoping he'll take the bait for. And he almost does, ready for a shift in conversation so they can go back to pretending he's not madly in love with an Auradon girl.
Oh gods he's in love with her.
Uma doesn't let him bite, she reels back just as calmly as she had leaned out before he can even open his mouth, "You like her."
And sure maybe it's an understatement, compared to the earth shattering realization he's just had in his own head, but it makes him freeze nonetheless. He goes pale and rigid, color draining from his face as quickly as it had rose.
He flounders, not entirely sure what that look Uma's giving him means. His jaw clenches, even as he's working it up and down trying to gather together a string of words to defend himself.
I'd never do that to you, he wants to say, because he desperately wishes it were true. But he's never been able to lie to Uma, and he thinks her dissapointment would be much worse then any rage she might be harboring.
So it startles him when she starts laughing. Giggling at first, like she had caught him with his hook in a cookie jar, then throwing her head back and clutching at her stomach. Maybe she was going crazy, he thinks, catching the way Audrey and Gil look up at them from their puzzle.
It's not necessarily unusual, the three of them have always been a little mad, some more then others. So when Gil pats at Audrey's arm, gathering her focus back on the puzzle in front of them, showing her exactly how usual this is, it's like nothings happened at all. He can't help but be a little relieved.
Uma's laughter has melted down, back into a fit of giggles. She grins at him, all Cheshire-like. Like she can see all the little cogs turning inside his head. Still, she doesn't say anything, waiting for him to make the first move.
Waiting for him to admit something.
Harry gives up on trying to defend himself, looks away from her and swallows. He watches the pristine white of the floor instead, the way his old Isle boots scuff it so easily. "If you knew," He starts. "why did you invite her?"
Uma gives a disbelieving laugh, "What?"
He turns to her, looking almost worried, almost scared. Entirely too vulnerable. "If you knew, why did you bring her here?"
Uma searches his face, eyebrows scrunched together. He half expects her to tell him to choose. Her or us. You can't have both Harry. He tenses up, ready for any sort of outburst she might have. Ready for her anger and her rage.
"Harry," She says, "You know you can date her, right?"
He freezes, like he's misheard her. He'd gone over this a million times in his head, ready for any compromise she'd bring, ready for any argument and any possible break up. Never had he actually considered her being ok with this.
"I'm uhm—" he swallows, "Wh-what?"
Uma tilts her head, brows furrowed even more, "Did you think we'd suddenly stop loving you just because you've got a crush?"
It's so much more then that, he thinks, but right now he's focusing on working out a response that isn't Yes! That's exactly what I thought! How was I supposed to know I wasn't an awful boyfriend?
He settles instead on, "Um."
"By gods Harry!" Uma sags, she looks shocked, "You're not the only one fond of her. Haven't you noticed?" She waves over to Gil, and for the first time, Harry notices the blush high on his cheeks. Gil looks at Audrey the way he looks at Uma, with awe and wonder and maybe a little bit of obsession. He looks at her like she's hung the moon and the stars all on her own. How had he never noticed that before?
"You really didn't know." Says Uma, watching the realization fall over him. "Harry I've been ogling her since she stole you away to dance. Right after the Barrier fell." She looks defeated, unable to believe he would be so oblivious. "Harry Hook you cannot be this blind. That was months ago."
"I just— I figured ya wanted me fer yourself!" He whisper-yells. It sounds a little silly now that he says it out loud, emphasized by the way his accent thickens in his fluster. They were possessive of each other that was a given, but they had never said others were off limits, not entirely. If you felt a spark, a real one, you could be with them. That was their rule.
"Harry Hook. You are an idiot." Uma deadpans, but even as she criticizes him, her eyes are fond. She glances at Audrey and Gil, and nods over to their puzzle. "Look, they're finishing up." She fixes a look on Harry smirking and winking for good measure. "Go ask her out for us darling."
