Hi, thoughts on Jimin pretending to give mouth to mouth CPR to Taehyung as a joke in Run ep 130? It's at 31:36. They were literally a few inches away from kissing.. it just doesn't seem like something a person in a relationship would do to someone else, especially right in front of their significant other.
JM and V are close friends, like super close, JM setting boundaries because Tae doesn't always know when to stop kind of close friends.
And in a world of skinship, with BTS being super handsy with each other, this moment we had in Run episode 130 was not what I would consider a big one, and definitley not one of those moments (of which we have many when it comes to JM and JK), where you feel lines have blurred so much that what they are doing is definitely not just a platonic friendship.
The angle, the limbs in the way make it a little hard to see, but JM's mouth is nowhere near Tae's. You say a few inches, well a few inches away can be quite a bit, which it really is in this case.
Vmin mess around.
Jinkook mess around.
Hopemin mess around.
Hopekook mess around.
BTS mess around.
That's just the way they are. You have to remember these guys, they have been together for over a decade. Living together, eating together, training together, showering together (at some point), sleeping together, practicing together and working together. They know each other through and through and are super close to each other. For years they have been each other's family. This isn't an ordinary friendship, this is much more.
And that interaction there, in episode 130, to me isn't one that would be perceived as problematic by JM's partner, who himself can wrap himself around Hobi like a koala at times, or hit his butt repeatedly.
I wouldn't call whatever was going on there "inches from kissing", because that calls for intent, which in my opinion was never there.
You want "inches form kissing", or more like less than an inch from kissing?
Intentionally
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Or unintentionally
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But seriously, with Vmin JM sets boundaries, and even when he is the initiator and gets close, he never gets too close. Boundaries he doesn't set for JK, like ever.

Weverse translations doing their thing again but thankfully we have people like mandakkoo who notice these things for those of us who don’t understand Korean. Very curious though. Why this softening once again?
But also the moment itself is so sweet--Jimin asked if someone could borrow him their racket to practice and of course Tae immediately came and gave him his.

[Clip] Run BTS! Ep. 130 • Feb. 23, 2021
What's a Run BTS! episode without some improvisational skit, right? And is there any Bangtan pair better at these types of spontaneous role-playing games than Taehyung and Jimin? I guess not.
This for me is the highlight of Ep. 130: Jimin carrying Taehyung bridal style, and that CPR maneuver that had me screaming (I almost choked).

12- how are you? and 14- favorite feel-good show?
12: I have exams in a week so I'm...always occupied with that thought therefore a little restless. I don't think a lot about how I feel otherwise I'll just never get anything done lol.
14: tbh I don't watch a lot of shows or anything. I love sitcoms like How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Modern family a lot though I haven't completed all seasons of any of them. I love BTS related content like Run BTS, Bon Voyage and In The Soop too ♡, but there are like a looootttt of episodes and I am not even close to 20 ;-;
___
Tysm for the ask! ♡ hope you have a great day!

Hiya, I'm a new Army, joined this April. I watched all the Run BTS episodes in about a week 😅 My Bias is Jungkook, Jimin is close behind in second and then it's Jin. But I love them all and they deserve their own country.
I am strong a Jikooker too 🐰💜🐥
At first I saw TK and thought they were a possibility because of the cute moments, but then I accidently clicked on a jikook analysis video and that was that. They're bond is amazing and even if they are not romantically involved - it doesn't matter. I want to have that bond with someone, it's special and beautiful. The last time I felt this way about 2 people, they announced they got married on social media when us fans didn't know they were dating 😊
My question is about the recent Run BTS episode, I don't have the technology or decent sound on my phone to analyse, but at the end before they say goodbye while RM is talking, I think I heard Jimin breathe 'Jungkook-ssi ' I could be wrong but I was wondering if you heard it too or if you could tell me I'm not imagining things 😅. It happens at around 30:40 seconds in the episode, but I'm not sure what source you use so I'd say around 30 minutes in.
It's okay if you don't want to answer, I know you probably get hundreds of asks. I really like that you answer people's questions though, it's such a nice thing to do.
Thank you so much 👍💜
Hello! Welcome to the ARMY.
Can I just say the fact that you watched 130+ episodes of RUN in a week is insanely impressive and also a little worrying for your eyes! Hope you rested them a bit after that! Lol
I JUST finished watching this a little while ago, ugh such a cute episode. I kept thinking of Jin saying that JK was Jimins cook. Lol the way Jungkook kept leaving his own team things to go and try to help Jimin do his part of the cooking was so cute. He just wanted to help.
Tumblr media
And can we all take a moment to appreciate the Sun and Moon nickname for them getting offical recognition from the editors on this episode?! Lol I love it
I did see the moment you are referring to! I definitely heard what sounded like Jimin saying "Jungkook-ssi" followed by JK turning to look at him, but by that point the camera is focused on the other side of the table and they are cutting in the sound from the mics from jikooks side of the table anymore, so we will never know what they talked about over there I guess. Lol or we are both a little crazy and hearing things. That's always a possibility!
Thanks for the compliments! You are always welcome to send an ask 💜 hope you enjoyed all the BTS festa content we just got! Can't wait for the behind the scenes footage for this episode to be released

Call Me Mother... JK?
So supposedly Army was all a in a tizz over the interactions of the mothers in the latest RUN BTS Episode, however I thought the interactions were adorable but reminded me of some other things.
Firstly, the episode highlighted again the very simple but sometimes confusing way Koreans use different words or variations on a word to say similar things in different circumstances.
Of course, there's Love = 사랑 (sarang), 사랑합니다 (saranghamnida), 사랑해요 (saranghaeyo) and 사랑하다 (saranghada); as well as the whole to/dear/beloved thing in Winter Package 2021.
Now we have mother/mom...
In Korean there are 3 main ways to say mother, 어머니 (eomeoni) which is the standard form, 어머님 (eomeonim) which is more formal and 엄마 (eomma) which is the informal form of the word. But with BTS the informal and standard ways are the most appropriate to highlight because they use these forms most frequently.
어머니 (eomeoni) - This can be used in most circumstances when talking about your own mother. It's also how most people usually refer to their friend's mothers or a person's mother you know but have not met. In Run BTS Ep. 137 we saw Jimin use this form to talk to JK's mother and it's also how the others refer to each other's mothers too.
엄마 (eomma) - This is the familiar form of "mother," and is equivalent to either "mom" or "mommy." It's almost exclusively only used by children when speaking directly to their own mother, or when speaking fondly about her to someone else. In some rare cases, it might be used by a person's partner to their mother-in-law but that has a variant of its own.
So why is this important... well in Run BTS Ep. 137 we saw both JK and Tae refer to their mothers in the informal way and Jimin referred to JK's mother in the standard way. But there's a more confusing Run BTS 'mom' moment in Ep 130. During part of it, Tae asks for more balls on his side of the court, the conversation follows like this:
V: Can we get more balls? I want to put them in my pocket.
JK: He strongly wants more balls.
[Picking up]
JM: He keeps picking up the balls.
[Different explanation]
JK: When mom doesn't buy him what he wants...
JM: What are you talking about?
NOTE: I’ve check both VLive and Weverse in both Korean and Japanese, as well as English (mom) and all three refer to the informal and familial way of using mother (i.e. mom or mommy, 엄마 (eomma) and お母さん (okaa-san)).
At the time I don't recall many Taekookers actually making a fuss of this but in retrospect it is very interesting. I mean who is he actually referring to? To me, there are only two possibilities…
He’s referring to his own mother - This would denote that Tae is very close to JK’s mother, and when he doesn’t get something, or he does something when she doesn’t give him what he wants. It would also show that sometimes JK’s mother spoils Tae
Or he’s referring to Tae’s mother. - This would mean that Tae’s mother is happy to be referred to as 엄마 / mom which is very unusual as stated above. I can only think of two possible reasons for him referring to Tae’s mother in this manner: firstly, in Tae’s mother’s eyes JK is like Tae and her other children, i.e. like one of her own children; secondly, he’s like a partner to one of her children, and she prefers to be called that by JK.
However, the way the conversation goes and petters out, make it seem like it JK is talking about Tae’s mother, and therefore she prefers to be referred to as 엄마 / mom.
To add some more fuel to this family fire debate, I present you the 160513 [StarHasCome] BTS 360° Interview, the key part starts at about the 2min mark...
https://youtu.be/P5inF3WqSfk?t=118
BTS: I run, so lost in this maze’!
- J: Ah, of course our parents!
- RM: Ah, that’s right!
V: Our father and mother,
RM: It was parents’ day not too long ago!
BTS: That’s right!
JK: I cried loads that day -
V: Yes, to our mothers,
V: We had our concert (on that day), and I invited my parents
V: I made my parents cry for once!
This part of the interview was slightly weird to me, Tae refers to our mothers (in the standard form 어머니 (eomeoni)), but then JK talks about crying and Tae makes the point of say “to our mothers” (throughout RM his usually on edge self whenever Tae speaks) and that he was proud to make his parents cry for once which sets Jimin off in a fit of giggles. What’s interesting here is JK and Tae’s body language, there's no space between them and towards the end, JK is very clingy with Tae.
So make of these what you will and draw your own conclusions, I’ve got my thoughts and yes I believe they are…

Misha virtual panel Sunday 22 Nov, 2020
Tried to type as much as I could as he spoke. I know the whole thing will probably be up fairly soon so you can watch, but for now--
--He finished shooting in March
--Thought he had mourned the passing of the show & had processed it but finale was an emotional experience, took him out for a couple days
--Thinks the fandom isn’t going anywhere
--Favorite memory making recipe with kids and Vicky, talks about how cookbook came about, West made pasta with jam sauce for Thanksgiving
--Projects for future? Worked on political elections recently, planning to do more of that particularly Georgia in January. Publishing book of poetry. Couple of film projects but not as actor, one he’s interested in directing.
--How do you think Jack brought Cas back? There was a different ending that Covid made impossible, but not supposed to talk about it. Involved bringing back lots and lots of cast members from the past. In original ending, Cas hadn’t gone to rebuild Heaven there was a DIFFERENT CONCLUSION FOR HIM. He did not read the last 2 episodes after the changes. He thinks Cas and Jack are more “ethereal” when rebuilding Heaven. Pure speculation though, he doesn’t know. Will probably be better explored in fan fiction than what he could come up with.
--Fan from Brazil thanks him and asks a question I don’t fully understand. Misha talks about watching the finale with his kids. West and Maison asked him to tell them if a scary part comes up, but he had no idea. Evil clowns “shell shocked” and probably traumatized the kids. West wanted to watch something else to get it out of his head. Went to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm lol. Misha jokes he is doing a shitty job keeping his kids away from the horrors of the world.
--Castiel “melded” with Misha. Cas was just a soldier at first but over time we saw him unfurl so that he didn’t fit in anywhere “fish out of water” but tried to be a good person.
--What is the one thing he will take with him from playing Castiel? A lot. On a professional level, it was fascinating to play a character for so many years. Talked about it with J2, how the characters became part of them over the years. Watching Dean’s death scene, he cried but because it was Cas’s friend Dean. It was a weird thing on an emotional level because the lines were blurry between himself and Cas. He feels he will literally take the character with him. Cas is part of him. Maybe he should double down on therapy to try and untangle him lol. Has a “naive” idea the fandom won’t go away, at least right away. Feels grateful to be a part of that, the fandom community does a lot of great things.
--Favorite thing to bake with the kids? Pies. Though he doesn’t love pie, but he does bake a lot of them and the kids like them. Favorite kind of pie? Probably strawberry rhubarb. Doesn’t bake enough cakes! Recently made fortune cookies and put little messages inside, he put lewd messages in.
--He wants to know if he’s naive thinking the fandom will be around awhile. Fan says NO he is not.
--Misha also teared up in 15x18.
--Anything more he can say about stuff that didn’t happen in finale that was supposed to? He doesn’t want to be the one to reveal, but what are they going to do, fire him? It was a version of Sam and Dean’s Heaven that was populated with all these people from their past, all of the characters that we love from over the years were there. But COVID.
--Favorite bts memory with the boys? He doesn’t have one, they were close friends for 12 years, lots of antics. Laughing fits, fights, got pissed off at each other, fondest memories of any work he’s done were on SPN, so much laughing and mirth, he’s going to miss that.
--Why did Cas’s trenchcoat remain intact despite all his deaths? Cas never lost the ability to magically mend his clothing. It made no sense that if he got stabbed or shot, sometimes it ripped the shirt but sometimes it wouldn’t. Or it would be cleaned up by the next episode. They wanted him to look like Constantine at the beginning, costume was 3 sizes too big, finally (he doesn’t remember what season) asked for a better fitting costume. New suit first, then lost the tie but eventually put it back. One season they just got him a whole new wardrobe and never explained it. He stole some trenchcoats.
--Cas’s confession was one scene where there wasn’t much joking around, he needed to be in an emotional state. Sat on a folding chair and ruminated on his own. Stunt coordinator noticed that and just stood by, knew Misha needed his space, it was really sweet. Made sure no one bothered him. Didn’t ask him to do that, it was intuitive & Misha was appreciative. Crew was great about that during heavy scenes.
--How did he feel reading script where Cas dies? Knew it was coming, had had conversations with Bobo, was happy with it. Felt a little risky and brave, was happy to be a part of that. Happy his character could express love like that. Has seen people complain about bury your gays trope and doesn’t think that’s what was happening. Cas is in Heaven, rebuilding Heaven, and also so much good came from that declaration. Cas saved Dean which was essential to saving the world. That declaration saved the world and was of Cas’s own volition, he wasn’t forced to do that, it was his choice & that’s important. Maybe he’s naive but he didn’t think they were playing into that trope. He’s glad Castiel got to express that. He’s proud that the show did that. He’s sure it’s a conversation that will continue to be dissected.
--Will he ever get an SPN tattoo? Hasn’t thought about it, has thought about getting one related to his kids. Is that a “has-been” tattoo? Should he get Jensen and Jared’s faces? LOL. Tattoo of Cas’s face on his abdomen? Nah probably no SPN tattoo.
--3 things he does to be kind to himself? Has a tendency to be hard on himself. Sleep, run, meditate. He feels guilty he doesn’t spend enough time with his kids so he does but doing that he sometimes doesn’t take care of himself as much which makes him grumpier and not a great dad. Balancing act.
--Fave moment of finale was Dean’s death scene. Masterfully executed, well done, excellent performances from J2. Made him cry.
--Best memory of last day on set. Everyone was being really sweet, lots of tears from crew and cast. Last scene was last thing on Friday, Him Alex, Jensen, Speight had to fly to convention next morning. Finished around 130 am, got on chartered flight, 15 minutes in flash of light and BOOM, one of the engines exploded, circled back to Vancouver and plane was shaking, really scary, during emergency landing they were texting their loved ones because they weren’t sure if they’d see them again
--Did angels get their wings back? Yeah probably. Why wouldn’t they? He misses Castiel’s car though. The Pimpmobile. Had hydraulics. Remembers car jumping up and down because JARED broke it.
--Cas would be a great security guard because he never sleeps. Would not be a great teacher or architect or artist...could be handy in a kitchen though.
--What color are Cas’s wings? Misha always thought they were black, but maybe they’re rainbow colored!
--Worst joke from J2? Jokes J2 are not good people, they got really excited leading up to him directing because they were plotting, they were going to break into his apartment and steal his furniture but Misha was tipped off by crew. Fish left under his car seat, again he was tipped off. One thing he remembers is Jared messing with his directors chair so that he would fall when he sat on it. Fell for it probably 5 times. Also Jared messing up his lines until Misha went to talk to him, which is when he got pied in the face. Everything looked blurry for like 20 minutes, Jensen brought him another shirt & apologized, then during lunchtime Jensen pied him too.
--How did Cas feel when Jack became new god? Vindicated. Like, “we did it”. Also feels concerned that Jack is no longer Jack. But at his core Jack was still himself.
--Real story behind handprint? He doesn’t know, but it was a nice touch. Doesn’t remember how they came up with that. Great call back to very beginning. Poignant.
--Favorite Dad joke? The one with the snail getting thrown across the yard and 2 years later asking what was that about.
--Didn’t hear this one well but what I picked up was Favorite con moments? He and Jensen have had really fun panels in Rome
--Favorite version of Castiel to play? Loved playing LuciferCas and HumanCas. Wishes there had been more HumanCas. But regular Cas was his overall favorite, wouldn’t have wanted to trade regular Cas for any other Cas.
--Miss you guys, love you, hopefully see you soon.

Let’s talk: RUN episode 130
by Admin 1
A week has passed and it’s time for the continuation of last weeks tennis episode, this time with BTS coming together on a tennis court to decide who the BTS Tennis Champion is, excluding Yoongi who was the MC and umpire due to his shoulder. He was joined by one of the coaches who’d previously given the members lessons at the club we’ve seen them at in last weeks episode.
Before I truly get into it, and let me tell you, for those who haven’t seen the episode yet but are still reading this anyway (thank you so much for that), there is a lot to get into. Especially when it comes to vmin. It was a feast this week, I can tell you that much (so fellow vminnies prepare yourself to get annoyed and upset with you know who again this week as is tradition whenever we get a lot of vmin, am I being shady/petty?). But the other members were comedic gold as well, especially Yoongi with his amazing commentary, and fellow namjinists, we got a few nice things as well.
Funny thing is about an hour after the episode went live, the following ask appeared in our inbox and, at this point, I hadn’t seen the episode yet so reading this made me giggle but also very curious to see what exactly even happened that led to Jimin carrying Tae, as well as how Jimin did that since I immediately thought back to that moment at MAMA 2019 where he tried yet failed to lift Tae.
From anon: Tonight's Run episode. Omg. When JM carried Tae and pretended to give him mouth to mouth, Tae gay panicked and said 'Hold on!' and swiftly got up and went back to the court. I cannot with these two. 😂It's always like someone is brave and then the other one panics. Come on VMIN you can both be brave hahahaha
But lets start...at the beginning (and make yourself comfortable because this ended up being a truly long one, also spoilers for who the winner is will be marked):
The episode opens with the members reminding themselves (and the viewer) why they are on that court again (as well as Hobi playing so much with his racket that he ends up dropping it, aww) and also letting us know that a solid 3-5 months have passed since the previous episode was filmed. Furthermore they talk about how, due to their schedules, they didn’t really have time for practice (as in they basically conclude they were bad at keeping up with this project and mostly merely went to practice once while Yoongi commented how they probably should’ve chosen something a little more approachable with a schedule like theirs), seeing as in the meantime Dynamite was released and they also had MOTS ON:E to practice for and perform. I do love how the editors flexed Dynamite’s BBHot100 longevity in the subtitles.
Tumblr media
Since the members all spoke toward the center, mostly turned around toward Jimin and Yoongi, Seokjin commented how they should also talk toward him, which Tae took as funny invitation to stand exceptionally close to Seokjin making him laugh with a big smile on his face. When I tell you I adore their dynamic and bond, I truly mean it.
Tumblr media
Yoongi is announced as MC and joined by Coach Kim, to whom the members apologize for forgetting everything he taught them. Next they move along to explaining the “rules” which basically ends with none of the rules actually being explained and the members making jokes about how headshots are against the rules. Then the order and pairings for the starting matches are chosen by chance by Yoongi and Coach Kim, though Hobi and Seokjin are separated so they won’t end up playing against each other since Hobi is the only one with past experience while Seokjin was the only one who actually went to practice four times between last episode and this one.
While that’s happening, we get a wide shot of the court and the RUN crew giving us once again an idea of just how many people are involved to film these episodes and how many pairs of eyes are watching them. (this is something some people truly should remind themselves of more often when coming up with...theories.)
Tumblr media
The order is decided as Hobi vs JK, Namjoon vs Tae (can we please talk about how, when Namjoon is pulled as Tae’s opponent, Seokjin quietly comments how he wanted to play against Namjoon? Cute!), and Jimin vs Seokjin. After the pairs are decided there’s this small hilarious moment where Seokjin stands a little further back and pulls out his phone and is promptly snitched on my Yoongi. In his defense Seokjin says that his dad was calling him so it was a completely valid reason to check while the other members complain about him having brought in his phone at all. Namjoon even tells him that he shouldn’t use his dad as excuse to which Seokjin challenges him if he should show him his phone as proof.
Then, finally, the matches begin. Yoongi and Coach Kim settle behind their umpire desk while Namjoon and Seokjin sit in the stands behind them to the left, thus on JKs side, and Jimin and Tae on the right, thus on Hobi’s. Who starts the match is decided in good old BTS fashion with rock-paper-scissors and we are treated to Yoongi calling Hobi a dummy which had me howling with laughter.
Tumblr media
We also get chaos immediately as Tae pretends to be the ball boy on JKs side, though quickly gives up his job and returns to his place. All signs point toward Tae being in a fantastic, comedic mood once again. We love to see it. As the match is happening, Yoongi comments on how it’s actually surprisingly fun to watch, with which Namjoon agrees (and so do I). They all get so into it making it double fun to watch and even easier to cheer along and get emotionally invested in what’s happening on screen.
During the second half of JKs match with Hobi, Tae asks Coach Kim what kind of player JK is to which he replies that he’s a passionate one, and upon prompting clarifies that JK always stayed longer after practice to practice some more. That certainly sounds very much like JK, and fits with what we’ve seen in the previous episode. Despite that Hobi wins the match!
Next up is Namjoon against Tae. Jimin playfully takes up the role of Tae’s coach, hands him a bottle of water and carries his racket while Tae ties his shoes and then approaches the net for rock-paper-scissors. Upon seeing their shenanigans, Seokjin jumps in as Namjoon’s coach, making sure he has spare balls and that he actually goes to the net as well.
Tumblr media
Before the match even begins we get Namjoon asking first Seokjin, who says he doesn’t know, and then Coach Kim if he’s even holding the racket properly which Yoongi comments upon saying he’s holding it the way you would a knife while cooking. Honestly Yoongi is on fire this episode with funny commentary. Then as they get to rock-paper-scissors, Tae as the most endearing human ever asks upon his angels (with Yoongi asking the editors to add in actual angel graphics for his sequence) to help him win, which he does. He gets to start off the match.
Namjoon is certainly the funniest tennis player among the members adding in little hops and spins making everyone laugh so, so much. Coach Kim comments upon how, because Namjoon was so busy, he didn’t get to learn how to do backhand and thus only knows how to do forehand (please don’t ask me what that means and what kind of effect that has because I have no clue). Speaking of laughter, at some point Seokjin is laughing so much and so hard Hobi turns to him and asks “why are you so happy?” but we never get an answer. Interestingly enough, as they announce a serve change, so Tae serving instead, Seokjin immediately stops laughing and looks focused again.
Also at some point they realize that Namjoon was playing with someone else’s racket, leading to Namjoon switching to his actual one, while Coach Kim says that Namjoon had left his racket at their gym which Seokjin comments by saying “that’s Namjoon”. We’re also treated to Nam-derer (Namjoon + Federer) and Tae-kovic (Taehyung + Djokovic) by Seokjin. Honestly, extra points for creativity. The match ends with Namjoon losing, ending up at the net and immediately being ready to bump elbows with Tae accepting his defeat. Absolutely hilarious match!
Next up is Seokjin against Jimin and it starts with Seokjin promptly loosing three points one after the other with the other members commenting that tennis is a mind game and Jimin’s mind is good. Jimin loses the next point, thus the members idea of Jimin potentially winning a “perfect game” (without Seokjin getting any points) is gone. Although it’s meant teasingly, this is still really cute:
Tumblr media
Upon being prompted by Namjoon to bring out his (Jimin’s) true tennis skills, the game turns around and Seokjin goes into the lead. Soon thereafter the score is 5 for Jimin and 9 for Seokjin which leads to Tae calling out the score to Jimin (saying Jiminie) as 5959 which apparently is both a lucky number and phonetically similar to something you’d say in a cutesy way to a child or someone you love in Korean, and on top of that it’s also 9595 backward. Unfortunately all that soulmate luck doesn’t help since Jimin still ends up losing the match.
Next up is Hobi against Tae with Hobi “teasing” Tae by claiming that he’s certain Tae will win. The match starts off with Hobi winning twice but Tae gets into it soon enough and they actually manage to get a few rallies going, as well as Coach Kim commenting on how you can tell that Hobi has prior training. As they reach 6:7 for Tae, Jimin and Namjoon start chanting KIM TAEHYUNG, with Jimin, Seokjin and Jungkook also doing some additional “cheerleader” moves. Very sweet and supportive! Look at their smiles, look at Jimin’s smile! He does that a few more times as Tae wins more points.
Tumblr media
Then we get to the moment that had everyone, vminnies and non-vminnies alike, in absolute shambles: Tae hurts himself (though I’m still not 100% certain if it was a joke or he actually hurt himself even if just a bit) and falls to the ground, Yoongi rushes in with a big smile while calling for a medic and Jimin runs over saying he’ll carry Tae. Which he does, just like anon said. Look at him! How is it possible that somehow Tae turns so smol whenever he’s in Jimin’s arms? Also just how strong, exactly, is Jimin that he can just pick up Tae like that despite Tae being taller, and therefore also surely a little heavier than Jimin?
Tumblr media
Also can we please talk about how Tae hooks his arms around Jimin, how he nestled his head against him, and also about that barely visible (from our angle and due to Jimin’s shoulder) smile on Tae face as he’s being carried? And also Namjoon’s face. Of course he’s there as well because what would be a vmin scene if Namjoon wouldn’t be there as well haha.
Tumblr media
That’s still not everything (truly this episode is a gift that keeps on giving) since Jimin puts down Tae on the stands and proceeds to give him pretend CPR and acts like he wants to also give him mouth-to-mouth which makes Tae giggle/laugh, but not just any laugh, it’s his Jiminie laugh. Catch me crying. After that Tae gets up and ends up winning the match giving us the following (it’s not too visible in the gif but my heart melts at Jimin’s happy/fond smile):
Tumblr media
And thus the final match is Kim vs Kim, place your bets now before continuing on. I do love how seriously Jimin is taking his “coach” job as he once again stands by Tae’s side before the match begins and carries his racket.
Since this is already getting outrageously long (and there are still 16 minutes left) I’ll just mention a few highlights instead of a detailed commentary. Also, if you don’t want to know who wins, I’d recommend skipping this part. I’ll add a bold Match Over at the end so just scroll until you see that.
Tae and Seokjin tease each other which Seokjin delivering the following line “I’ll prove that the underdog can’t make it to the top”.
Tae fails his first attempt at a serve, but upon second try, wins his first point.
Tae asks for more balls so he can keep some in his pockets which is commented by JK as Tae being greedy for balls because his mom didn’t buy him the toys he wanted as a kid. Another member, though I can’t for the life of me figure out which, asks what he’s talking about, and then Namjoon puts an end to the antics.
Seokjin rolls up his sleeves (things are getting serious serious) and Namjoon wishes him good luck (we love a supportive leaderbf). This is followed by Namjoon wondering if Seokjin is Shapovalov and Seokjin wins the point.
Seokjin wins the first set and they switch sides.
Seokjin tries to pick up the ball by hitting it with the racket just like they’d been taught in the previous episode but hits the ground instead. Yoongi wants to give him a yellow card but only has a yellow pen which he holds up instead.
They get a fantastic rally going but unfortunately Tae loses because he hits the ball too hard and it goes OUT. JK says it was so good there should be a slo-mo to commemorate that rally which makes everyone laugh.
Tae hits the ball into the OUT and nearly hits Jimin and JK which prompts Jimin to chant something in Busan satoori along with JK but Namjoon stops them by saying that they’re in Seoul.
The ball gets stuck in Tae’s racket, something that happens very, very rarely and thus the members decide to give him that point simply because of that. Namjoon also tells Tae he should buy a lottery ticket.
Tumblr media
Finally, because “hard work never betrays”, Seokjin wins! He also wins, according to me for the cutest smile because honestly LOOK AT HIM, how can anyone not be endlessly fond, endeared and enamored with him? That’s scientifically impossible and should be a punishable crime. Am I exaggerating? Who cares!
Tumblr media
Also Hobi gently, so very gently, dabbing away Seokjin’s sweat with his sleeve.
Tumblr media
Seokjin receives a skinny little gold medal, which Tae sneakily steals from him like a little squirrel while Seokjin gives a speech while being the most humble and very Seokjin.
MATCH OVER
After the game the members gather at a restaurant with the bill being paid by Seokjin, which is something the members simply decide upon though Seokjin makes a joke about having forgotten his wallet at home. What a nice prize for winning, makes it totally worth it, right? The first dishes that are served are seafood which Namjoon comments on by saying that he can’t eat them, but he needn’t worry because there was plenty, and I mean plenty, more food to be tried and eaten.
Overall the dinner featured some funny and interesting moments such as:
Hobi, Tae and Seokjin playing the “tangsuyuk” game which Namjoon calls childish and yet makes a game out of him saying “child” and Jimin “ish” with a laugh and smile on his face.
Jimin and Seokjin having a funny/cutesy conversation in a mix of Korean and English which is followed by Seokjin saying they should now only talk in English, which Hobi accepts. The only ones who do it are Hobi and Seokjin (who shows off two sentences with great pronunciation) and then it’s over and they switch back to Korean.
JK saying “I wanna be a lobster” to the tune of “I wanna be a rockstar” from Interlude: Shadow.
An extreme closeup shot of Jimin trying Peking duck including some ASMR for those who like it.
JK and Seokjin reaching for Seokjin’s drink at the same time with Seokjin telling JK he should order his own instead of trying to take his (later we see JK still drink from Seokjin’s glass). Jimin also asks for a sip (though he might be talking to Hoseok since there’s a glass standing between them as well from which we see Jimin drink).
Tae wonders what they’ll be going through in the next episode of RUN which gets commented as “reasonable doubt” by the editors in the subs.
Jimin tells the story of how he went to a hair salon with Yoongi though at first he can’t remember when it was. Tae and his vault of Jimin memories though does, saying that it was for their profile pictures before debut. The story goes that Jimin got an asymmetrical haircut which apparently was so bad/funny Yoongi couldn’t look at him and left him behind to meet with his friends instead. Once Jimin arrived at the dorm, Hobi woke up from his sleep yet, upon seeing Jimin, “fainted” because he laughed so hard.
As final dish they get mattang which reminds them of the mattang JK made in an older episode of RUN which ended up basically being completely immovable and stuck to his plate. “First is cleanliness, second is cleanliness, and third is adhesiveness.” I’m not surprised that we remember these things, but looking at how much they do, see, and have to remember, I’m always amazed by the fact that they remember such small things as well.
Jimin asked how long they’ve been doing RUN for to which JK says “10 years” making everyone laugh. Yoongi though comes through saying that they started in 2015, which is correct.
In the end they get some coffee and Tae asks if they should leave for their next shoot now, something it seems they’ve been stalling on doing since Tae already asked that twice before and they came up with things they should/need to do or eat before that.
And that concludes the episode! Wow, this turned out way too long. If you actually made it this far, I truly applaud you and also thank you sincerely. I loved this episode and I just had a lot to say, I suppose. This might be one of my new favorite episodes, which I have a feeling I’ve been saying for the last couple of episodes as well, but what can I say, these episodes have really been amazing recently.

October 2020 (filmed; aired Feb 23, 2021):
Run episode 130 is filmed (part 2 of tennis, following up Run episode 129 that was filmed 5 months back in May of 2020).
Behind the scenes: the members ask Jk to initiate the “run BTS” line but Tae playfully does instead. Jk turns to Tae and jokingly says “it’s nice to meet you Jungkook” while brushing a hand through Tae’s hair.

The first match is Jk vs Hobi. Initially, Jin and Joon act as Hobi’s fans, while Jimin and Tae root for Jk - creating some sort of sides for the fun of it. Jimin is in the middle of throwing balls at Jk when the younger asks for a ball boy. Tae proceeds to take on the role and quickly runs towards Jk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He stays in character, although not familiar with the rules, he intends to remain standing behind Jk - ready for action. Members laugh and rush him to return to the stands. Jk walks up close to send him away -

Behind the scenes: for some reason, Tae is back in the court, and this time he’s acting as Jk’s spontaneous teammate - trying to hit the ball and everything. Jk keeps playing as normal.

He gets a positive but vague answer -

Tae says something in response but his mic is muted in favor of other comments.
Tumblr media
(Timestamp 14:40)
Tae promises to win his match against Joon and, that way, take revenge for Jk’s loss against Hobi - as if they were in it together. Jk thinks it doesn’t make much sense since there are no real teams, with only one final victor, but still finds it cute that he dedicates the game to him.

Happy smiles -

When Tae actually faces Hobi as his opponent, Jk jokingly expresses slight resentment while squinting his eyes and pointing at Hobi. Tae then does the same, but with more intensity, and repeats his promise of getting revenge in Jk’s name.

Run BTS! Ep. 116 (Clip)
While rap chaos ensues with the videoke machine, Yoongi quietly concentrates in the background, trying to beat Jimin's record of 130 points. And of course, Jimin notices. It wouldn't be a Run episode without YoonMin bickering, right? 😊
