#drawing #art #stranger things #steve harrington #eddie munson #steddie #I think that Eddie was on his way home from work and Steve was in their house as he is and opens the fridge to find his leftovers gone #and so Steve waits and wait and then as soon as Eddie comes in the trailer door #POW #attacked #Steve barralled into him as fast as possible and went for the stomach to fold the giant im half #and it worked #Eddie’s let’s go flying and hit Wayne who came out to warn Eddie steve was gunna get him but was too late #steve said I’m a runner imma track star and these thighs are made for lunging and these hands are made for taking you out on the ground #1 2 3 anD HES OUT EVERYONE #but then Eddie flips them over and they tumble out the trailer door and down the rickety steps and steve curses and Wayne is just watching #and they get on the dirt but they don’t stop there no they are now tumbling in the dirt until Steve’s got eddie in that leg lock grip and #Eddie pleads for mercy #Wayne drags them both in by their scruffs #it’s just that one is smiling and one is pouting but they are both limping and groaning cause the steps bruised them up #when they decided to go crashing through the door #Wayne makes them both do dish duty to talk it out but Eddie hits Steve with a towel and Steve throws water on Eddie #anyway #digital art

Devastated to learn that my online friend Susan (HixyStix) has passed away. When I joined the Kalluzeb/Rebels fandom, She was one of the few people I could talk to about it. She also wrote my favourite fanfic of all time, “A safe haven” and inspired me to write 2 of my own. I’ll never be able to thank her enough for taking the time to speak to me. Even a simple gesture like that made all the difference. She helped me in so many ways. And I’m going to miss her. Thank you for being a friend during a hard time. Rest in peace, Susan.

So, there's a few things bugging me about Ahsoka and the New Republic so far, especially in regards to the latest episodes. Baylan Skroll and his apprentice Shin prison break Morgan Elsbeth, who has been arrested and is being taken to the New Republic for trial. They do this by chopping up New Republic officers with their lightsabers, a very distinctive wound. Ahsoka, who worked as Fulcrum, and Hera Syndulla, who is a General, investigates and discover more on the Dark Jedi involvement, as well as missing New Republic war assets from a factory on Corellia due to rogue Imperial agents. They further discover a Galaxy jumping device has been created for Grand Admiral Thrawn. I may remind a Grand Admiral is a very high rank.

Yet, the New Republic keeps prattling on about how they can't do anything because there's no evidence and it all sounds like a fairy tale? As if this is a court of law and not about state intelligence? They have an entire transport of lightsabered and slaughtered evidence, they have General Hera Syndulla, a hero of the Rebel Alliance, Ahsoka, a bonafide Jedi expert, as well as a Squadron of New Republic fighters including Captain Teva as witnesses. Literally a member of their squad died in the pulse from the Galaxy hopper and they just assume they're lying. They should also have witness statements and records of the Battle of Lothal (including the space whales), since they accept Thrawn and Ezra did disappear officially. Even in a court of law, this would not be ignored, and this isn't even a court of law, it's state security. I can think of many nations that have invaded other countries based on 'a tip' or something flimsier. And, even so, how can the New Republic not even send out some sort of intelligence operatives or investigatory committee?

Yet, they send like three giant ships to court-martial Hera and then in a court debate whether to court-martial or not, which makes me think the writers don't understand what a court-martial is. The strangest thing is the court is actually set up more like a hearing, with Senators, but they call it a court. Next, everyone reacts to C-3PO like he's God and he just gets Hera out of it with an excuse from Senator Leia I honestly don't think would work, but whatever. Ultimately, at this rate the New Republic wouldn't last five years, let alone over two decades, with this attitude. I honestly doubt they'd make it to the Sequel era. They're doing everything too soon with no sense of time scale.

Paz is the worst greeter and I know that’s what the covert were going for cos they were being all secretive and that but my god he really does commit to it. We Lost A Star

#(not that anyone from that star rail post about dan heng and jing yuan will read but i wanna ponder it anyway) #but that tangled mess that would be jing yuan and his feelings about dan feng vs dan heng and his struggles to free himself the past #and find his own life #i just imagine the mc caelus being in love with dan heng or well on his way to being that #and falling for jing yuan too #and seeing/hearing jing yuan and dan heng in moments like this #and it just hitting caelus how they've had hundreds and hundreds of years #meanwhile he's just this blip in either of their lives momentarily there and then gone soon #(lord knows probably gone early bc he's got a stellaron in him what's that going to mean for his lifespan in the end? #he'll more likely than not either go out in a blaze of glory or have to be sealed away for the good of the universe #to not spread the fragmentum corruption) #and how could he in the face of something that's been between these two hundreds of years and could go on for hundreds more #mean anything but an eyeblink to either of them #and perhaps that's why he goes so silent and doesn't say anything when dan heng tries to talk to him in the story quest #caelus is just overwhelmed by all he's feeling and all he's seen and experienced and all he knows now about dan heng/dan feng and jing yuan #and this long long history between those two and how much pain they've both suffered #and all that caelus is feeling is like a great wave of emotion looming over like the waves dan heng #so caelus doesn't say anything bc if he does he'll loose hold of that wave of feelings and it'll crash down all around him/them #so he just keeps them in and keeps silent and mentally steps back and away from the other two #what they're goign through doesn't involve him it's not meant for him *they* aren't meant for him #they're meant for each other #he mentally steps back so he doesn't get int the way of whatever jing yuan and dan heng need to do #to untangle the hurts between them and find a new path forward and a new friendship--and maybe more #caelus won't get in the way of that or complicate it he'll be gone on the express soon anyway #and maybe dan heng will come back too but in the end dan heng has such a long future and caelus has just moments in comparison #dan heng and jing yuan have and to him should have all the hundreds of years to work out their future #and caelus will be just this speck of a memory hundreds of years down the road that maybe if he's lucky will have a statue #the other two could visit and reminisce by #(and wouldn't it be nice if in figuring out themselves dan heng and jing yuan realize that they do want caelus in their lives too #no matter how short a time that might be)
