As a Halloween thought for you because omg you finished serrated- thrall Steve dressing like a vampire bride because he’s sad and pining alone in Billys massive castle
Just thought this might be a little pick me up thought
"Steven! Steven," Billy glanced down at his bloodstained shirt. Steve had such tricks, the humans had made such progress in the field of laundry since Billy had stopped paying attention in the 1800s.
Since Steve had moved into the nest, he'd made so many improvements, including installing one of their laundry machines. Billy had happily paid to have new plumbing installed for his human thrall, anything to keep Steve happy. Though he feared he was quite ruining it by constantly asking whether he could get help putting his clothes in.
He ran a hand through his hair a few times, wishing, as he often had, that there was new progress in the world of mirrors and photography so he could ensure he looked his best for his... Steve.
There was a scuffling noise behind the door to Steve's room but there was no answer.
"Steven... are you quite alright?" Billy leaned into the door.
But there was no answer.
Billy's mind began to race, imagining the worst. Perhaps slayers had infiltrated. Eddie had a passing fancy for a small slayer, a blonde boy with murderous accuracy. Eddie could have easily led the slayer here in his doomed quest to seduce him.
"Steven!" Billy burst through the door and stopped still, "Oh."
Steve was half huddled behind a mirror, trying to hide. Which was proving difficult, because he was wearing a dress Billy had never thought to see again.
Chrissy had had a human bride, long ago. She'd specially made the girl a dress, a traditional vampire bride's dress of red lace. When the girl had died, Chrissy had packed it away with her bride's belongings.
"Steven."
"I didn't steal it! Chrissy leant it to me! I swear," Steve squeaked.
"But..." Billy shook his head, "Why?"
"I just... um... I thought maybe..." Steven rested his head against the mirror, "I know I'm just your thrall but... this is just for me. I'm allowed to dream a little right?”
If Billy had a heart it would be racing, "Steven."
"I know, I'm s-sorry, Billy, God," Steve groaned, "Just leave me alone."
Billy disappeared into smoke and reappeared behind Steve, tracing the line of the open back of the gown up to the top of Steve's delicate spine, "You make a beautiful bride, Steve."
Steve just made a little whimpering noise.
"But I think," Billy ghosted his lips along Steve's neck, "We could make you a new one."
Steve shivered, "Billy, don't tease me..."
Billy spun Steve in a whirl of motion, pressing him into the heavy wood frame of the mirror.
"I'm not teasing," Billy stepped between Steve's parting legs, "Fuck, Steve. I'm not a fancy man. If I hadn't got turned I'd be dead in a gutter in Derry long ago."
"I don't know what that has to do with anything," Steve said in a whisper.
Billy ran his hands along Steve's bare back, "Because I love fine things. I love fine things that I don't deserve, but fuck Steve, I will take them."
Steve looked up at him with wide bambi eyes, "Then take them."
Billy forgot all about his laundry. But they ended up having to clean the wedding dress anyway, or Chrissy would kill them. They didn't call her the blood queen for nothing.

Hii!! Omg I literally love your writing so much!
I was wondering if I could request some platonic headcanons for Percy, Will, and Annabeth? Maybe where Reader is their sibling and she leaves camp to go home to her mortal parent, but ends up having to run away cause said parent is a horrible person and Reader has to call their sibling from a payphone for help?

Percy Jackson
-Percy takes being your sibling very seriously, even if it is just through your father. He’s very protective over you so he ensures you’re ready to head back to the real world when it was time. He takes a nervous breath helping you get your backpack filled with questing supplies, as if you were heading out on a deadly quest and not just to visit your mom.
-”Always look both ways when crossing the road and remember, I’m just a call away.” Percy was heading back to visit his mom too and you can’t help but laugh at his worrying. “I’ll be alright Percy, If I can fight monsters I can handle my mom.” you promise, You honestly believed that too at the time.
-Percy smiles fondly at that and ruffles your hair. “I don’t doubt it.” he says. You really thought you could handle your mom. You honestly thought you stood a chance to her after all of your training, but when it came to it and you were at her doorway you froze.
-She started screaming at you, yelling that you were a demon child and that you’d get her killed by some monster. You knew she was drunk but still her words hurt. What hurt worse was the bottle she threw at you that shattered over your eye.
-You have to stumble down the street as blood drips down over your eye, no one even bothering to help you. Your mind races to the worst possible option, did you lose your eye? Through the tears in your good eyes you see a pain phone punching in the numbers you slide against it, trying to take shaky breaths to keep yourself calm.
-Percy picks up on the second ring thankfully. “Hello?” there's a tense silence as he hears you crying. “I… My mom she…” you manage to choke out between tears. “Where are you?” Percy demands his voice darkening right away. You tell him where he was and in less than ten minutes he drives across New York which was a feat in itself. He picks you up with a sad smile not caring that you were a bit too old to be carried around. “It’s ok. I’ve got you.” he soothes but under that smile you knew Percy was seething in anger. You were just glad to have Percy… He was more of your family than your mom ever could be.
Will Solace
-Will was a great big brother, he knew when to give you space and when you needed help. Right now he could tell you were nervous so he gently rubs your back with a gentle and kind smile. “It’ll be alright. You have my number.” he reassures you.
-”R-Right…” You say softly but you were still nervous. Sure you could face down monsters but trying to face down your mother..? That was a different story. Will seems to notice your hesitance and places his cowboy hat on your head with a proud grin when he sees your surprised face.
-”For good luck. That hat has been with me through a lot, so take good care of it.” You can’t help but tear up giving Will a tight hug, making him laugh. Part of you wish you had never left after that…
-It was supposed to be a good luck charm… So… So why did you feel so unlucky? You had tears in your eyes as you made your way down the street. Your mom had dumped you on the side of the road in a muddy puddle and drove off without you.
-You were holding Will’s hat close to your chest, feeling guilty for having coated it in mud. But that’s when you see it. A payphone. You make your way in digging through your jeans for loose change and make the call. It takes a few seconds that feel like forever but Will picks up. “Hello?” he asks. “I… I… Your hat I’m… Sorry I didn’t mean…” you couldn’t help but sob when he picks up all the emotions you bottled up pouring out.
-Will was there in minutes, it turns out he wasn’t far from where you were. He frowns sadly, hugging you close “hey, hey, It’s ok.” he soothes you gently, rubbing your back and smiles sadly. “You’re not hurt?” he asks worriedly. You sob and offer him his hat back “I’m sorry…” he laughs sadly at that, placing the muddy hat onto his head with a little grin. “It’s alright, A little mud never hurt no one!” he lets his thick Texas accent slip out with that and you can’t help but laugh a little. Will always knew how to cheer you up.
Annabeth Chase
-Annabeth had a hard time getting along with her siblings when she was younger, she felt unwanted and that her family didn’t care for her. But then she got older and met you, she felt an instant connection as if you were her real sibling. Which, you weren’t but she acted like it.
-She could tell you had a lot of potential and so she worked with you to help train you for the real world. For fighting all the monsters and sometimes even worse, the people. She takes a breath helping adjust the straps of your backpack. “Are you sure you can do this?” she asks hesitantly, seeing the determination in your eyes she couldn’t help but think back to how you were exactly like her when she was younger.
-”I’m sure. I can do this Annabeth.” you promise. She smiles softly at that and nods. “If you need anything, and I mean anything just give me a call.” She says gently, making you laugh; she was like a worried mom. “I will, I will.” you say giving her a wave with a grin as you run off. You wish she was your mom. Or at least your full sibling. Because you had never felt more alone than in that moment. There at your childhood home was a sold sign, Your family had moved on without you.
-You had wandered the streets for a while, working through your own thoughts unsure of what to do next but that’s when you saw it. An old payphone. You dig through your backpack and pull out the coins that you had there and punch in Annabeth’s numbers with shaky hands trying to keep your composure. You were a child of Athena, you were supposed to be better than this.
-But as you wait for Annabeth to pick up you couldn’t stop the tears that start to stream down your face. “Annabeth… T-They… They moved on without me… They left me… And didn’t even leave a note.” as you speak you break into sobs as you're forced to realize what had happened too. “Where are you?” Annabeth demands sternly. Before you knew it she was right outside the payphone and pulled you into a hug.
-You sob into her as you cling to her in a hug. Annabeth just soothingly rubs your back letting you cry into her shoulder. It hurt her to see you like this, it was all too familiar to her. To be abandoned by your family… But… but she wasn’t going to let you go through the things she did. Not anymore. She’d be there for you and protect you. She’d do a better job than Luke. She swore that to herself right there and then as she held you close.

just finished the first two episodes of the percy jackson show here are my thoughts:
(spoilers ahead ofc)
the opening scene has my whole heart, straight from the books, so so so good
THE CHARACTERIZATIONS OMG
the casting is perfect for everything
the rick riordan cameo!!!!!!!!!! so exciting
grover snitching on percy
i'm sad they didn't show the dream with the two animals fighting
i loved how they showed percy's dilemma thinking something was wrong with him, the way walker portrayed it was amazing
"your dad's a god" "like JESUS???" that made me laugh so hard
i kept singing the lightning thief musical at parts of it (like at the minotaur scene, i was saying "don't pass out, don't pass out, don't pass outttttttt" or when percy was accepting the quest it was "he's been less my dad and more absentee but if my mom's alive, that's where she's bound to beeeee")
i can't wait to have more annabeth
CHRIS RODRIGUEZ??????? took me a sec to figure out who the guy was but then i freaked out
i actually almost started crying when percy was burning the blue food for sally
just shows how much sally jackson is a goddess who deserves the world and also how much percy loves his mom, i felt like their relationship in the show and how it was portrayed just adds so much depth to it
in words of my sibling "dior looks too nice to be clarisse" LMAO
but i did think they did the capture the flag/fight scene perfectly although i wish clarisse had said "CREAM THE PUNK"
The claiming scene was a bit underwhelming ngl

i wish they showed percy's loneliness after the claiming a bit more before going straight to chiron and mr d talking about the quest
also i wish mr d had talked about how he wants to turn percy into a dolphin LOL
grover has my whole heart i love grover so much and i love the way aryan is portraying it
luke being percy's first friend and then he's gonna betray him and i think they did such a good job with their relationship so far
in conclusion, i can't believe it's happening and it's here and i will be adding on as i continue to watch and rewatch

As you already guessed, I would have saved Hange of course!
Like Erwin died when the answer to his lifelong quest was within his grasp, Hange sacrificed themself before they could explore the outside world, quench their thirst for knowledge, help make people's lives better with new discoveries... I'm fascinated by their intelligence & all those amazing qualities that make them one of the best written characters in SNK, personality-wise. They would have been such an asset in the post war SNK universe.

To be perfectly honest, I read the whole manga only once. I often read a random chapter or a few panels online but I still have to read it again (& it's a pain in the ass because I have the Edition Colossale & every book is f*cking heavy lmao). Besides, the French translation is not very good imo, it missed most of the dialogues' subtleties / nuances :((
Still, the manga panels are amazing, Isayama has a real talent for drawing the facial expressions & making us understand what's going on or feel so many emotions without a single word.
But I love the anime, even if a few things missing or changed kinda rub me the wrong way! The animation is insane (Levi's action scenes are always flawless & omg it's part of why I love the short badass so much!). The music is amazing & epic. The VAs are phenomenal (I only watch the Japanese version with French or English subtitles). It's a f*cking great show!
Just a few words about the scene between Eren & Armin in the last episode. As much as I cannot accept Eren's actions, I still felt sorry & sad for him. But the scene with Armin in the manga was so pathetic it almost swept away my sympathy towards him. Thanks Mappa for fixing this scene, making it a real moment of emotion between soulmate friends, & giving Eren a bit of his humanity back.
So anime it is!

Oh!!!! Here’s a silly little idea, maybe an angsty story where reader is like, and adoptive kid of dottore’s or like an experiment he somehow got attached to, and they meet and become freinds with collei?
I think that they would be so silly and so sad, maybe reader looks up to collei as a big sister!!! Omg I’m already attached to the duo
Okay so this contains spoilers for the archon quest, gender neutral reader. Reader is going to be an adoptive kid of one of Dottore's clones. This landed up becoming more Tighnari centric, but Collei is the reader's friend and Tighnari's more of the father figure.

Your dad had shipped you to Sumeru, a location you have wanted to visit after hearing all about the forest life that was there. He explained that, due to work, he would be unable to join you and visit the areas you enjoyed the most. Your understanding of your fathers work was him working patients that needed treatment, and you thought the world of him. You never knew you biological parents, them seemingly dying before you can form a connection, and your dad said he took you in because your parents wanted him to do so.
Tighnari was informed of you, and he decided against kicking you out for association with the Fatui. You were travelling alone, your father telling you he trusted you enough not to get lost too easily. Of course, he kept a close eye on you due to his concern that this could be some facade you're putting on. Collei seemed drawn to you, and you both land up becoming good friends.
When you get informed that your father 'extended your visit time for an unmentionable time', you were initially sad. You were looking forward to seeing your dad again, to enjoying his food and hearing about the patients he has saved. Collei sits with you, making you feel as welcome as she can. She understood that you missed your dad, and she heard many good things about your dad.
Tighnari, however, was working closely with the authorities.
See, when Dottore took the deal with Nahida, your father died. Nahida was the one who heard your father screaming out your name, begging Dottore not to hurt you in his experiments. She knew about you, her knowledge on Dottore connecting you.
He had to figure out how exactly to break the news. This wasn't easy. Dottore himself was still alive, but anyone with half a brain would figure out the real Dottore would use you for inhumane experiments. After a meeting with Alhaitham and Cyno, Alhaitham decides that he can break the news. Tighnari states Collei shouldn't be there for the news, letting you process the situation on your own terms.

"Your father is dead." Alhaitham states, Tighnari looking over in shock at the bluntness of the statement.
"No...No, that's not true." You retort. "Dad is alive!"
"He has died." Alhaitham states once again, Tighnari regretting the decision to let someone like Alhaitham break such devastating news.
"How are you feeling, _?" Tighnari softly asks, you shaking your head out of dissapproval.
"Dad is a good man! He helped so many people with treatment." You protest. "Dad can't be dead, he knows how to heal himself."
"Your father was a horrible man." Alhaitham coldly lets out, Tighnari nudging him harshly. "He took you away from your parents and used them for experimen-"
"That's not appropriate for this discussion, Alhaitham." Tighnari grits through his teeth.
"But dad told me...He was working on treatment." You weakly let out, trying to convince Alhaitham he was wrong. "Dad wouldn't do that to my parents." you croak out, Tighnari glaring at Alhaitham.
"He did." Alhaitham corrects, showing you the letters your parents sent out in an attempt to escape as well as the dates attached to them.
"But dad... Dad wouldn't..." You tear up. "My dad wouldn't do this to someone. I know my dad!"
"Alhaitham, that's enough."
"I think it's time they knew about their father. Nobody else thinks so nicely of him, and for good reason." Alhaitham tuts, getting up and leaving.
Tighnari looks over at you, seeing you in a mess as you're reading over the letters your parents sent out. The fact your name was there, and they had your date of birth correct. You read through them, morbid curiousity grabbing you as you read about how horrible your father was to those unlucky enough to not be you.
Your father never got permission to take you, and your parents were desperately trying to find you. They both landed up dying, a final letter from the Fatui mocking the people responding to these letters with a confirmation of death.
You run out, Tighnari hot on your heels as he gets a bad feeling about what you were going to do. By some poor luck, you both ran all the way to Dottore's getaway boat, him waiting there for you. Before you take another step, Tighnari grabs you and clamps a hand over your mouth to keep you quiet as he picks up on a whisper between two agents.
"Once that brat comes running, we'll get going." The agent states, Dottore nodding.
"Of course. I can never have too many experiments." Dottore chuckles. "That clone of mine was far too soft for my own liking, and that rat he's been keeping as a pet holds no value alive."
You start to shake, crying softly as Tighnari slowly lets his grip loose as he knew you wouldn't run off. Turning to face Tighnari, you look up at him with a mixture of negative emotions in your eyes before he pulls you in for a hug.

finished playing god of war ragnaroks main story and oh my god. i have A LOT to say first off i dont think ive ever played such a visually beautiful game, its so amazing and i was fighting the urge to screenshot every 10 seconds cuz the game just looked stunning especially sindris house and freyrs statue
also i really liked the pacing, sometimes when i play games i think 'come on hurry it up' or 'omg im done already??' but for gow i feel like it was just right and it had enough side stuff for me to not think 'oh i wish we saw more of x y and z'
SPOILERS AHEAD I WANNA TALK ABOUT THE ENDING:
wait so wtf tyr was dead the entire time????? that entire scene was heartbreaking i actually really liked him but he was odin the whole time like jesus plot twist of the century i did NOT see that coming
also brok oh my god i loved him so much his death has made me so sad well never get to know the answer to his riddle im so sad and sindris making me more sad also sindri what a badass for crushing odins marble thing that was sick and im glad he got vengeance for brok
also FREYA HELLO she was so cool i knew straight away that shell do the final blow on odin and the choking part was so cool shes so cool shes awesome she deserves the world (one without odin lol)
im sad that they killed thor right as he was ABOUT to be better id have loved to see him and kratos not be fighting but to be fair i saw it from a mile away and i was screaming at every character to keep at least 2m away from odin at all times lmao

So I just watched nahida's teaser and decided you'll be the one to hear my crying for her and Scaramouche cause these two give me so much cuteness aggression you don't even know
I love the small parallels between them being lonely children that just wanted to be loved
Nahida who was just a newborn when the sages found her, only to be imprisoned for most likely eternity if traveler didn't help, treated horribly by her own people because the god they want is gone and refusing to accept her
Scaramouche having to roam the world already feeling abandoned and hurt not understanding why Ei let him go, being hurt repeatedly with no one to help him process all the pain and sadness he's feeling until it's too late and now all he wants is for it to stop
The fact that they both want the same thing really, to be a real archon. Even if Scaramouche wants it moreso out of spite and hoping it'll stop him from getting hurt again, unlike Nahida that wants to be loved and respected by the people she cares for so much
Genshin is really starting to feel morally gray with Sumeru's archon quest (I can't wait for more angst material in the future)
Actually just make an off-canon au of these two being siblings
Let Scaramouche have someone to not only look after that he could trust to never loose but also someone who'll teach him all about humanity and how these emotions he can't help but have be something good, give him a chance to have another being that understands how it feels to be abandoned like him
Let Nahida have a genuine companion that won't put her on a pedestal or hold up expectations for her as an archon, someone that listens and understands her fascination with humans while learning about them by her side

Just finished totk and boy do I have some thoughts. (no i totally didn't watch someone else do the ending after i had completed all of the other main quests because i got impatient. totally......)
anyway totk spoilers for the whole game below. also my thoughts will become less conherant as it goes on lmaoooooo have fun o7
I'm going to put it frankly, I disliked the ending. (for the most part) while there were some amazing parts that I loved (cough, the sages, cough) I feel like the whole zelda part could have been done better. Just a disclaimer I DO NOT ship botw/totk zelink. that's a whole other post i'm not going to do rn but just thought i'd put that there. The first part in the depths was great. It was brilliant even. I loved the sages and I loved the whole Gannon swallowing the stone just to kill like. It is SO in character. It is such a Gannon thing to get rid of all traces of his humanity (hylianity???) just to kill his fate entwined nemesis. like, oq3ighbqpeifjnqpirjgnpqieugnqpithjnpiqgn. omg. Amazing. then dragon Zelda came in and I was like ok. That makes sense. some instinctual part of her dragon self must have realized that Darkness = bad and link = trying to fight darkness = good. so I was like ok. and honestly that fight was pretty epic. It was something new. I was really well done. Then I feel like it started to go downhill. I can say that I almost cried when you were able to rewind time for Zelda. I was like omg they can bury the body, give her peace. The whole shabang. And then Zelda woke up and I was like ugh. I hate it because its so tropey. The classic good beats evil the princess falls in love with the knight in shining armor everything is great. botw did better with this. while the whole loz series is that trope, botw felt more like an, we made a lot of sacrifices and things wont be ok for a while but maybe someday it can get better etc. nothing lovey dovey there. but then totk gone and did the everything turned out great ending. I would have loved a Zelda died ending. i'm not a zelda hater but I feel like it would build off of the whole oh boy everything is shit rn but it will get better given time. They don't need the monarchy anymore link can be free etc. When zelda lives it gives off a very happy everything is great vibes. despite the fact that uh. no???? It's not????? Mineru was obviously sad but I feel like they ruined it by trying to do more zelink shipping. It gives off very I know I was an asshole at first and I know you has a fish gf but now shes dead and i'm nicer too you now but I was also only mad at you because of my destiny/things out of your control lol lets date. Like what????????? idk but that just sounds weird to me.
anyway i'm going to compleatly change topic and talk about future lozs/ and endings.
This is a brilliant place to end this timeline. there are many theorys about what timeline/ where its placed but I feel like this game is the end. The whole Gannon gets consumed and finally destroyed etc perfect ending. It has a very clear air of finality about it. And honestly I feel that if Zelda had died it would have added A BUNCH too it. It would cement that finality. Gannon is gone fr this time (power) Zelda would be dead (wisdom) and there is no proof that link has the triforce of courage so idk man but that feels like nothing but the ending of a timeline. (but of course Zelda HAD to live because of their precious good always triumphs evil/ knight in shining armor & princess love intrest trope but ya know. whatever)
Talking about a future game, I would love to see something in the ww timeline (no it's not cause it's my fave game who said that.) I think it would also be cool if they gave the new game an open world setting like botw/totk but added a linear story line. (kinda like ww but with a lil more open worldiness) but idk thats just my opinion.
Anyway feel free to yell at me or have a convo in the responses i'd LOVE to hear your opinions. Just dont hate on me plz just cause I have different opinions than you. i'd love to hear an avid zelink shipper give me their opinion but anyways bye yall.

Like he knows abt ppl being controlled and stuff so idk it seems v ooc. Also he and Leo r similar considering their humor and whatnot and I wish they couldve had an actual friendship (honestly I feel like all of the 7 were never actually friends?) Sorry I feel like I didn't articulate well
omg soo true bestie like, i will be honest, hoo was not "all bad" but a lot of the characterization and stuff between pjo & hoo just don't line up (see: my nico complaints, lol).
and you have a good point!! with the seven, i never thought abt it i guess but it still felt kind of divided between the "greeks" group (jason/piper/leo) and the "romans" group (percy/frank/hazel) - which was probably also just exacerbated bc of couples - and then ofc percabeth. like not that they weren't friends by way of world-saving-quest but none of the seven crew really got enough of a chance to get to know each other and build friendships, besides a couple of like good moments together. but i also think that's one of the challenges of having a larger main cast: being able to build dynamics together as well as maintain pre-existing relationships, and it wasn't done super well.
yeah i also never talk about leo, i've just never been impressed by the way he was written, nor his relationships with the others. and to be clear that's not a critique of his character but the writing of. it's kind of sad bc he had a lot of potential that just devalued into a flat character. i've always liked the idea of leo, just not the execution.

omg omg omg i'm gonna geek out about writing quickly but the time skip redo is actually really cool??? like mochi feels like the glue keeping them all together is so it makes sense that they kinda scatter but still stay in touch kinda after she leaves,,,, also the idea of getting the gang back together one by one just feels kinda nice like its the ✨found family✨ vibes that the guild radiates that just has me🤧🤧🤧🤧 LOVE THEM SO MUCH
YES AAAH IM GLAD YOU THINK SO!!!!!!!!! i feel like this version is better exactly for that reason and also its a better driver for the growth lime goes through when mochi isnt there!!!
PLUS it also aligns better with what (in my head) seems to be normal around "grown" witches, which is that after that period of time where a witch is learning and coming into her own, she no longer has need for a guild and it effectively breaks up (which is why tiramisus guild as well as other older witches dont have their full guild with them. maybe 1 or 2 members stuck around because theyre friends but otherwise most witches guilds dissolve after said witch is done training and her power is in full)
the only thing that makes me sad about it is that i wish lime and the others were close enough friends to stay together as a guild after mochi leaves, like their friendship with each other isnt SOLELY dependent on her, but since there only 5 of them (and taffy is new), once mochi left, lime was the only other person who was capable enough to lead the guild. and since he took such an emotional blow i dont think he had it in him to essentially babysit the other 3. so with 2/5 members (and essentially the core of the guild) out of action, it makes sense that neither coco or oscar could ever "lead" the guild the way lime potentially could have (and taffy feels like he has no right to even try to fill that role). that being said, i do like the idea of them hanging out every so often to do side quests!!!!!
(essentially i think of this period as lime shifts into the "main character" role and it turns into a genshin style of adventure for him-- where he just travels around (lowkey searching for mochi) but mostly training, doing side quest/side quest chains, becoming stronger, and every so often he runs into a quest that requires you to bring along/interact with other major characters like coco, oscar, taffy, the merchant, other witches mochis met during her journeys, etc, but afterwards goes back to a solo journey. as a consequence once the guild gets back together it turns out lime has a bunch of connections in a bunch of different places)
and also!!! i maybe have mentioned this, but in my heart it feels unfair to have them all just.,.....waiting around for her. like obviously we all know she comes back to them, but from their POV shes essentially gone forever with no end date, and having them accept the mindset of potentially waiting around forever feels like a shitty thing to do, so im going to let them move on!!!!! (at least superficially. i dont think any of them would ever truly move on after mochi leaves. how would you ever just spend 2-3 years in this magic world of action and adventure and then just suddenly drop it all and go work a 9-5??? impossible. they all tangentially stayed in the magic community and would be ready at the drop of a hat to rejoin mochi if she ever came back and asked them to!!)

favourite moment:
i loved him going insane from guilt and grief and devoting his entire life to the pursuit of a world where the kind of trauma and horror he and his loved ones went through can never happen again and in the process of that quest becoming a cruel and horrible person who lives ultimately a miserable and small existance. all because he got groomed by an evil vampire to think that murder was the way to get to heaven actually and so he became deeply entranced by that delusion and the comfort it brought to the point where he couldnt even consider that maybe he was doing something horribly selfish and destructive to himself and others. smileeee. also second favourite moment is ”frogs on my 800 dollar pants?” and third favourite is smiling excitedly as his arm gets torn off and he presumably gets cannibalized by a baby (made me realize that he is actually nuts)
idea for a story:
what did he get up to in between dios death and the start of stocean? like collecting stands and watching over weather while driving himself further and further into darkness. its so sad and fucked up to think about to me. also second story idea would be him and kakyoin meeting as insane evil teens in the vampire mansion and having a weird ”friendship” lol
unpopular opinion:
this isnt unpopular in MY circles. but um. hes the main villain of his part and arguably the most complex villain character in jojo, even if one could argue villains like kira are better executed. so its a bit cringe and annoying to me when people reduce him to just an acessory to dio LOL. like he is his own character and a far more interesting one than dio with motivations and character drives completely separate from him so ummmmmmmm whyyyys that blond thing always there. hm? you have to wonder why and you especially have to ask why do people keep postioning him as dios servant or ”follower” instead of his actual role as a student and friend. hm.
favourite relationship:
i do however like dios and puccis fucked up evil bestfriendship because. its fucked up but also funny. HOWEVER. PUCCI SIBLINGS FOREVER. like theres no comparison to whatever him and weather have going on omg. perla also. but like that relationship just perfectly sums up his character doesnt it. like he accidentally causes the destruction of wes’ whole life so he steals his memories to survive and to stop wes from killing everyone and its cruel (even if more understandable bc. traumatized children) and fucked up. but then he keeps wes alive and watches over him for decades and keeps him close and safe because he genuinely does wish that things could be different. he cares. all with out ever considering how cruel even THAT is. but once wes gets his memories back and becomes an unignorable threath he doesnt hesistate to kill him. so so so fucked up what the hell

Got tagged by @threephantomrey on a reading game thing, it got long so it's pasted under the cut.
1) How many books did you read this year?
So many omg!! I logged 34 books on Goodreads but I only started logging there at the end of February. I also read a shitton of comics that I didn’t log there because I didn’t want to skew certain statistics and use a different app to log that. (Going by my rough math using that, I’ve read 360 individual comic issues in 2023, not counting rereads). So like I read a lot.
2) Did you reread anything? What?
Sooo much stuff. I just finished a reread of N. K. Jemisin’s Great Cities Duology like two days ago, which I cannot recommend more. Also reread 17776 recently, as well as a childhood favorite (The Fall of the Readers series by Django Wexler) over the summer. When it comes to comics I’ve also done a ton of rereading, most notably Emerald Twilight (Green Lantern (1990) #48-50) like 5 times for the most rereads, but I’ve also reread other faves (in whole or part) such as Wonder Woman: Historia, Batgirl (2000), and I’m currently doing a Green Lanterns (2016) read which has me brain diseased because I am actually obsessed with them SO bad. And I reread poetry constantly so there’s that too.
3) What were your top five books of the year?
I’m skipping this one honestly. I started thinking about it and it hurt my brain. Some standouts I haven’t mentioned yet though include The Fifth Season by N K Jemisin, The Fire Next Time by James Baldwin, The Last Speakers: The Quest to Save the World’s Most Endangered Languages by K. David Harrison, and The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Also like everything Greg Rucka did on Wonder Woman in the aughts (including the Hikateia <3333)
4) Did you discover any new authors that you love this year?
Probably Greg Rucka is a big one, Would maybe count James Baldwin here but that’s iffy because I decided to start reading some of his stuff because I loved a poem of his I had read before this year (among other things). I would also say I discovered A. S. King this year, but I don’t know if I’d say I LOVE her writing, rather that I find it incredibly entertaining because of how batshit fucking crazy it is. Like no one else is on her level when it comes to insanity honestly (and I say this as a comics fan)
5) What genre did you read the most of?
I mean superhero comics probably, but also I read a good amount of poetry (as always) and some fiction.
6) Was there anything you meant to read, but never got to?
Sooooooo much! Because I like so many genres I’m always reading like 10+ books at a time, and still a lot of stuff I just don’t get to. Some things I wanted to read include some poetry books I own, specifically my Most Famous Poems of All Time anthology (I think that’s what it’s called?) and my best of Antonio Machado book (bilingual edition!). There’s also a bunch of specific poems that would fall under this category. Also meant to read the Light of the Jedi by Charles Soule (and the rest of the main High Republic series), but that didn’t happen. Also I wanted to read some 90s Flash but it’s soooo long and I couldn’t justify starting it while I’m in the middle of so many things.
7) What was your average Goodreads rating? Does it seem accurate?
My average rating was a 4.2 which is pretty high. I’d say it seems accurate for the books I finished, but when you consider all my DNFs and comics it would definitely be way lower, as I quit a bunch of books halfway through for being terrible this spring that aren’t reflected, and also I read some really shitty comics for my faves this fall.
8) Did you meet any of your reading goals? Which ones?
No I didn’t meet them : ((((((((. I was pretty ambitious with the Goodreads goal (set for 100 books) so I’m not sad I didn’t meet that, but I was using those numbers to compete with my best friend on who could read the most, and I lost that (she had 43 to my 34) due to a slump in the early summer and another during the school year in the fall. For comics I recently hit 1000 issues read, so I’m happy about that mindset, and got my niche fave into my top 5 characters read so I’m pretty happy there. Still haven’t reached my goal of having Wonder Woman beat Batman for my top character yet, but that only emerged as an objective like a month ago so I’m not too upset.
9) Did you get into any new genres?
I’d say so, yes! In recent years I’ve done a lot of expanding my taste of books into different genres, and this year I think I read a lot of memoirs, (both traditional and fictionalized) than I ever did before. For traditional I read Jennette McCurdy’s I’m Glad My Mom Died and in terms of fictionalized, I read and enjoyed both Go Tell it on the Mountain by James Baldwin and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian by Sherman Alexie. Next year I want to read more of this genre, especially getting to Maya Angelou’s I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, which has been on my TBR for a while.
10) What was your favorite new release of the year?
New release… um…. Let me check something real quick. How have I read nothing from this year what. Okay I’m just going to stick to comics for this one and say Spirit World by Alyssa Wong was SO GOOD. Honestly may buy the trade for that when it comes out in April like I was loving that series sm. (also Wong is my favorite comic author currently writing. Although they’re not doing anything I’m interested in in 2024 it looks like : ((((( )
11) What was your favorite book that has been out for a while, but you just now read?
*blinks in classics fan* uhhh actually you know what. The Rime of the Ancient Mariner has been published for 231 slutty, slutty years and I only got around to it now. So that’s a shame. Also I read Huck Finn for the first time this year and that’s been culturally massive for centuries as well. Although the ending for that book was shit I really liked the rest. Tom Sawyer can actually die in a hole though I hate him SO much.
12) Any books that disappointed you?
SO MANY YES. I had a really long dnf streak in late spring of this year, but one of the books I couldn’t finish was one of the most hyped up books I’ve read this year, that being All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr. Also I actually finished this one but I just hated Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead by Tom Stoppard. Which like I’ve heard good things about this play and I had just finished Hamlet like a month or so before and just like. Idk it was bad I didn’t like it and thought it was super confusing. Maybe watching a stage production would make me like it more but like. It was not lit fam idk :/
13) What were your least favorite books of the year?
Those two for sure would be in there. Also just like the rest of my dnfs I guess. R & G was the only book I finished that I rated less than three stars on goodreads. OH WAIT COMICS. I read so many shitty comics oh my god. This could have gone in disappointments too but Green Lantern: Mosaic FUCKING SUCKED. Like jesus christ it was so bad I only made it three issues. It was such a disappointment too because it was a spinoff book from a really good arc imo (written by the worst human to ever draw air and write comics. Not an exaggeration) with cool ideas and characterization and then the actual book is like fucking. Horrific. Like he has the main character fucking graphically domestic abuse his girlfriend in front of her kid and then she forgives him and then she comforts him and it's just a hot mess of a book. Fucking awful. This summary doesn’t even begin to cover it.
14) What books do you want to finish before the year is over?
I told myself I would finally finish Muerte Bajo el Sol, the Spanish translation of Agatha Christie’s Evil Under the Sun by the end of the year but I very much lied there so yeah. I’ve been reading that book for so long I just need it over.
15) Did you read any books that were nominated for or won awards this year (Booker, Women’s Prize, National Book Award, Pulitzer, Hugo, etc.)? What did you think of them?
Oh yeah a ton. I like my books thematically crunchy so I generally search out award winners. I’ll be easy and say the Broken Earth Trilogy here, which I did love, although I think the first book was the strongest outside of the three. I won’t spoil but I was in the parking lot waiting to pick up my friend when I reached a certain point and I legit almost honked my horn in the senior parking lot. At dismissal. Also had a few great moments reading it where I realized that the author had read [insert classic here] as well and was drawing some inspiration for certain elements which I liked.
16) What is the most over-hyped book you read this year?
All the Light We Cannot See for sure. It just wasn’t it personally.
17) Did any books surprise you with how good they were?
Maphead by Ken Jennings lmao. I was given a metric ton of Ken Jennings books for Christmas 2022 (because I’m a MAJOR trivia/quiz bowl nerd and he hosts Jeopardy) but this was my favorite, and I really did like it. (especially the quiz in the back haha)
18) How many books did you buy?
No comment. The username is the username for a reason. No but uhhh for real idk. I used the libraries pretty heavily this year, so when it comes to like my own money then just two comic trades I think. Maybe some more poetry. I get given/ask for a lot of books as gifts so that’s where most of mine comes from. I got 9 books for Christmas like last week haha.
19) Did you use your library?
Yee! I used 4 different library systems this year, (high school, local public, college, and college local public) so I definitely made the most of it. Currently I have three library cards as I just applied for a new one in my college town using my dorm address lol. Oh and I got a few books from an informal swap library set up in a bookshelf right outside my summer job so that too i suppose.
20) What was your most anticipated release? Did it meet your expectations?
I’ll use Spirit World here because it actually came out in 2023 haha. I think it both met and surpassed my expectations, as the reasons I started the book were all better or just as good as expected, but also there were so many other elements that I thought were soooo good too so yeah.
21) Did you participate in or watch any booklr, booktube, or book twitter drama?
Nah idc about any of that. I listen to my friend complain about how shitty some of the popular tiktok books she reads are so that should count for something ig.
22) What’s the longest book you read?
The Fifth Season was 468 pages so that one. Shortest was Rime of the Ancient Mariner with 77 pages (although I think it was shorter tbh)
23) What’s the fastest time it took you to read a book?
According to Libby I think like an hour and a half for the Absolutely True Diary which is kind of crazy. (not counting the Rime here obviously) but generally it only takes me a couple hours for most books. Poetry collections and nonfiction are different though.
24) Did you DNF anything? Why?
SO MUCH. Why? Because it sucked. No but like I was trapped with my most accessible library from Jan - May this year being the one at my high school, which just had SO much YA and books for like. Middle schoolers. This was at a time where my tastes were maturing a lot and I really wanted serious books. So even recommendations I would get from the librarians for books during this time would fall flat just because they were too juvenile for what I was into.
25) What reading goals do you have for next year?
To beat my best friend in books read. Also like to try not to slump too bad and just like. Read a good amount. Finish my one spanish book so I can start my other spanish book. Have Wonder Woman beat Batman in my comic book stats. Yeah.

Hi hi! May I request the Batter with youtuber player. He can hear everything they say when they record and play the game. I want reader to praise him a lot and saying something like "omg he's my favorite characters for sure! Can't wait to get a plushy of him!". I wanna see Batter being extremely flustered by this. Batter with a YouTuber!Reader Playing OFF
Notes: A bit suggestive at one point, but nothing graphic and nothing happens
To you, this was just another game at first. One you had heard about here and there, the character being compared to the likeness of other, more popular ones. At the very least in regards to his design. Ultimately, it was some of your viewers, who recommended the game to you. A somewhat old indie game going by the name of OFF.
Having started the game, the eerie title screen did not escape you. While you knew naught but that one character, whose name you did not even know, it was not the first time something akin to this had occurred. There were many types of games out there, after all. Pressing the record button, you got ready.
“And by popular demand of five people at most, here’s OFF! Shout out to the five of you for your determination to not give up until I caved in! Let’s see what awaits us in this funny little game with the funny little guy that looks like Scout TF2!”
Opening with a warning and credit to the composer of the soundtrack, you were led to a screen allowing you to type in your name and choose your gender. It was only then that he appeared. “You have been assigned to a being called “The Batter”. The Batter has an important mission. Be sure that it’s accomplished.”
“It’s him! The boy! Baseball man! His name couldn’t be more generic and he looks so sad and pathetic. I want to protect this creecher so bad!”
To him, it was a world he had seen before, even if he only started existing the moment it was created. There was a purpose to his being, a mission, and someone to lead him where he was to be. He was aware of your name, or, at the very least, what you claimed to be as such. You, who was omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. With a deity at his side he was to succeed, regardless of all hardships. “To move my body, use the arrow keys on your keyboard. To interact with the environment, use the space bar or the enter key.” And with that, the Batter’s grand quest began.
“Oh god, that’s his portrait? He’s got four eyes?? Not gonna lie, that’s kinda epic and, dare I say, hot even.”
What? Batter may have considered himself lucky to be able to hear the messages of his one and only Player, making at least one sided communication possible, but this was not at all what he had in mind. Perhaps he simply misheard you, a difference between the language of a deity and a mortal.
He, in fact, did not, as he concluded later on.
Your comments were more humorous than anything at first, making fun of him being a baseball player, wanting to give him a gun and, most notably, as well as commonly, praising him.
“Y’all, I want Batter to purify me, not gonna lie.”
Although not the best at deciphering statements like these, he could make an educated guess on what it could have meant based on everything you had previously said. It left him subconsciously holding his breath, imagining all the possibilities of such with the beloved effigy of you in his mind. Shaking his head, he tried his best to fight off these intrusive thoughts protruding his senses. Though, to hear you think so highly of him, it excited him, showing him he was as important to you as you were to him.
“If I do not get a plushie version of him I can tuck into bed and kiss on the forehead right this instant then what even is the point of life!”
Truly, there was no one in this abandoned room alongside him, but to have you declare such fondness for him in this manner of utmost innocence, he was afraid to show his face in fear of his expression betraying the feelings he held. Despite this, he lightly pulled down his cap, hoping it would conceal the flush on his cheeks. As your might pulled him in another direction, he sought to convince himself of this being nothing but another compliment. Verily, he wanted your scenarios to become reality.
“Ayo, did his sprite turn pink?”
