I hate James Gunn and Peter Safran with the intensity of a hundred suns right now. I got a bad feeling when they announced them as heads of the studios, and this just prove it.
I'm trying to remain positive but the theory that they will turn DC into another MCU (where they prefer quantity over quality, and where you need to see a hundred series to understand one movie cause they can't keep a plot line in just one film) is slowly turning real.
Henry Cavill basically started this universe with Man of Steel, alongside Zack Snyder and they are just throwing him away. As if he wasn't a fan favorite. As if the entire fandom didn't loose it when they saw him in Black Adam.
DC is one of my favorite comic companies, but I'm going to stick with comics and animations at this point. I'm honestly only supporting Blue Bettle and Shazam, and praying that they don't cancel those too.

List of RWRB Questions to Ask the Boys
I don't know if I can make this a thing but I wanna try
I'm curious, especially since with the strike we didn't get any interviews or panels where the boys could talk about RWRB, but what questions about the movie would you guys want to ask Taylor and Nick?
I'll go first:
What scene was emotionally the most difficult to film?
What scene was the hardest to film in terms of technicality?
What's your favourite line?
What were rehearsals like? What did you do during rehearsals?
What do you think was the moment your character started to view their relationship in a different light?
What scene took the most takes?
Is there a scene or a line that you can still remember how to perform to this day?
What's your favourite blooper moment?
Was there a book moment you were really proud to bring to life?
Is there a book moment not in the movie that you think would have been interesting to perform
I think I'll leave this here for now? Definitely will update more if I can think of more
If you have any questions please do add them!

so uh, i saw some vague allusions to it earlier but i only just found out about the random discourse that happened yesterday,,, how glad am i that none of that bs ever reaches my dashboard because by the gods some people are taking things too fucking far.
varying opinions over a tv show and its fictional characters should never lead to calling others genuinely awful and messed up things, nor to bombarding people's askboxes with accusatory and unfounded statements in some form of twisted moral crusade.
(specially since we're all just strangers who don't know what stances other people have on certain sensitive topics, much less what they've gone through in their lives)
how the hell did we get to this point, where some individuals can't speculate about random characters or potential s5 plot points, analyse different facets of certain characters that happen to overlap with other pre-existing storylines, or simply like the villains because they find them interesting to dissect ?
generalisations are not in my nature so i refuse to attribute this behaviour to any specific demographic, but the fact of the matter is that there's something decidedly wrong with the way this fandom as a whole blows things out of proportion, embarks on reactionary witch-hunts whenever someone steers away from whatever the "right path" is supposed to be, and deals with certain subjects and conflict as a whole when the standard reaction for the past few decades of fandom has always been to block and move on.
as someone who rarely discusses characters and themes that spark this type of controversy, it's exhausting to see all this nonsense clutter the tags and our dashboards while art, stories and analyses get consistently ignored and buried under all this unnecessary discourse so please, i beg you people to sort yourselves out before you drain yourself (and everyone around you, and casual onlookers) of any and all excitement the prospect of s5 might bring.
(also, please stop tagging unrelated stuff or personal fights under the main tags -_- it's getting more and more frequent and it just sours people's moods)

Henry: "You mentioned that sometimes you can love and love and love someone, and no matter what you do, they don't love you back. Well sometimes, you can love and love and love someone who isn't good to you, and no matter how bad they are, you still love them."
(Episode 13: Terry Jr. and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Dad)
The unintentional foreshadowing of this quote kills me. Was absolutely smacked in the face with dramatic irony when relistening to this episode.
Of course Henry would say this. It's such an excellent thing for him to say, because loving the world and everyone in it is the core of his character. He explicitly tells Lark and Sparrow to love everyone like they love each other, on the precipice of a major battle with someone who defined Henry's misery.
Henry loves so, so much, to the point of tearing himself apart.
Because eventually, what Henry describes to Ron, happens to him. Someone he loves with his whole soul doesn't (CAN'T) love him back anymore. Someone he loves more than anything hurts him, in more ways then one.
But never, ever, will Henry be able to stop loving his son, no matter what.

when will said it was "strange knowing who it was this whole time" and "he's hurt, he's hurting, but he's still alive" was he not talking about henry? am i insane? did i misinterpret that scene? why are we acting like will is connected to anyone other than henry bro what is Happening 😭
that was henry that shaped the mind flayer into that spider-like form and it was henry that used it to possess will and it was henry's thoughts that will was experiencing against his will and it's henry that he's still feeling because the connection/"vecna's curse" hasn't been broken. they physically extracted the mind flayer from will's body, yes, but his connection to henry was never broken. henry can't exercise complete and total control over people without the mind flayer's power, which is why will has free will over his body but his mind remains connected to henry.
the characters, and by extension the viewers, thought it was the mind flayer behind everything, because they didn't know what season four revealed to us.
henry wanted to control will's mind and body—a complete and entire violation of everything will is. that was Not the mind flayer, and they tell us that more than once. with all love and respect what are some of you on about because you're starting to make me feel like my memory is genuinely broken or something lmao like i thought.... the big reveal was that it's always been henry? they literally say that? eleven, henry, and will all confirm it? the mind flayer was not a separate entity acting alone... thus will has beef with henry most of all because henry's violation of his mind and body is still ongoing... Where Are You Guys Getting Your Information From 😭 hELP
will's rape—because that's what possession is, he never consented to having his mind and body controlled by anyone else—is an important part of stranger things; both to the general plot and will's character. to say that will only has beef with the mind flayer and not henry is reducing what henry did to him and reassigning blame that very much falls on henry's shoulders. henry was controlling the mind flayer and henry is the one still in will's mind. henry used the mind flayer to have control over will. henry and will are connected. the show literally tells us that over and over again. when you decide to needlessly reassign blame, not only are you misunderstanding and misconstruing the plot, but you're also... not understanding what happened to will at all. like, what really happened to him and how that's used in the show.
henry very likely was the one that kidnapped will. henry is the one that will has a psychic connection to. henry is the one that raped will / possessed him if you prefer that term instead and used the mind flayer to do it. henry is the one that will still knows like the back of his hand, because henry is the one that's still in his head. it's not the mind flayer. it's henry. please stop saying that will doesn't have more than enough reason to want to kill his ass. please!!!

aw man i'm worried that they're going to change henry & sam's story too much and it won't affect me the same.... if they die at the hands of kathleen or the rest of the group i'll be really disappointed. but i also have a feeling the show will be leaning even more heavily into the protector/protected theme, especially with the protector "failing" at his job (ie. henry) mirroring joel and sarah, so i kind of think they'll keep the story the same? idk. that scene was so pivotal to me and it's one of the only scenes that i really hope they don't change

A rotten girl and her pathetic boyfriend.
Before I read this seemingly amazing novel by @xmichaelmyers I wanted to give my own interpretations of the characters based off from Miss Winbornes Tumblr posts/moodboards, after I read it I'll most likely recreate this.
