Allegiances Part 1 —— The Leadership

Warmstar || 140 M || Righteous

Warmstar spent dedicated his life to the clan, at the expense of living it. Well within his rights to retire, Warmbreak had been about to retire before the blizzard struck. When they finally reached their new home, Lightstar was nowhere to be found. After receiving his nine lives, Warmstar put aside any plans for retirement and dedicated his life once again to building up their new clan. Warmstar never had time for a family of his own, instead treating the clan as his family. He is ready to lay down each and every one of his lives for them.

Moonspeck || 15 M || Charasmatic

Moonspeck didn’t expect to be named deputy, she was young and her former apprentice never made it to be a warrior. Yet when the blizzard came, Moonspeck rose to the occasion. If not for her efforts to raise the spirits of their clanmates, their already small group would have been even smaller. The respect she earned on the journey led to Warmstar’s decision, though there are some who secretly resent the decision. Moonspeck’s older sister gave birth only a few moons ago, but in her recovery was unable to make the journey. Moonspeck insured that her kits made it instead, and has adopted them as her own.

Lightpounce || 65 M || Thoughtful

Lightpounce has always been odd. As a young kit, he could be found in the nursery sitting near the entrance at night talking to the stars, or quietly observing as the other kits played. It wasn’t much of a surprise when Flurryspeckle took Lightpaw as an apprentice. He took to the role naturally, and it quickly became clear that the young medicine cat could communicate with Starclan in a way few others could. Before the blizzard, Lightpounce’s dreams were filled with white visions and freezing nightmares, but the clan was confident their home would keep them safe. It didn’t matter much in the end. Flurryspeckle died only minutes after making it to their new home, and for the first time in his life, Lightpounce’s dreams were silent. It was almost as if Starclan had been lost in the storm as well.

Guess what I was up too ( =｀ω´= )

A few days ago, I wanted to check out the latest Clangen update. However, the majority of the clans I have has some level of a big plot point or story commitment that I didn't want to screw up so...

Meet AClan (colloquially known as GullClan)! I originally wanted to nicknamed it 'SeagullClan' but quickly realised it was too much of a mouthful for me

Long story short, this was supposed to be a dummy clan to transfer one of my older clans onto (before that no longer became necessary) and it ended up lingering in my saves before I decided to finally play it recently.

I also recently learned that MSP doodles are fun and a great way to warm up with digital art so I smushed that with Clangen and, boom, MSP kitty madness ฅ(ﾐ ゝ ᆽ ＾ ﾐ)∫

Also, if anybody has tips on how to export MSP saves in a way that keeps the pixels sharp and clean (& not a blurred mess) please let me know ˄·͈༝·͈˄ So far, the best idea I have is to copy & paste the save into Krita and export it from there ♪~ ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ

Leader and Deputy

First one up is our loveable granma: Warmstar (Formally Warmdawn)! She cares so much for her rambunctious clan and treats them all like her children (✿ >ω<)♡

Next up is our deputy ♥ I believe GullClan has a tradition of appointing kind-hearted cats as their leaders/deputies hence why these cats have the positions they do The doylist explanation is that I did not think about the cat choices at all.

Fluttersmoke is a mother (as we will soon see) and a great one at that. She also likes to aid around the camp and is overall a pretty nice cat.

Healers

This is our senior healer, Troutheart. He technically wasn't the starting healer but 'deep StarClan bond' on a healer is too good to pass up so I retconned it so that he was always a healer and mentored the starting one. (I need figure out how to doodle his bengal pelt (;^_^A )

Besides that, there isn't too much for him.

I love his name. Such interesting imagery Snowyflame is a fun-loving medic that doesn't mind getting into a little bit of trouble. He is also the only cat whose MSP design I dislike (it looks too similar to one of the warriors and feels a bit generic).

Otherwise, he is a nice guy and started forming a bond with the clan's kit.

Warriors

First warrior up is our adventurous kitty, Rathaven >3 ! He is a simple cat in the sense that he just wants to do amazing travels and hikes but sticks around the clan due to its sense of community.

Quick aside: He has a bob tail :3

Not much to say about Tallcreek besides the fact he is a little childish and can get really enthusiastic about things.

Love Antlerhare (≧ᴗ≦✿)♥ She shares a prefix with one of my Lifegen cats (one of the parents of MC #2) but she is a playful, determined cat with a fierce tongue.

However, Antler has bad burn scars all over her tail which makes me wonder how she got them (especially since the clan is located in a beach where fires would be rare to non-existent).

*chuckling* Well that text prompt describes Trembletooth amazingly. He's Rathaven's former apprentice and one of Flutter's kits. A bold and rambunctious prankster as an apprentice, he recently got his warrior name so there isn't much on that front. He is close with his younger sibling and is a cool, older brother to them.

On that topic...

Apprentices (of which there is one, who is...)

Goldpaw! Fluttersmoke adopted this little orphan out of sympathy, when Gold was a kit, and he has become one with his family. I imaged he was Tremble's no. one partner in crime and they got up to all sorts of mischief. He wants to be the fiercest warrior the clan has ever seen and be like his exellent brother ฅ(≈>ܫ<≈)♥

Quick aside: He has a blep tongue (inspired by the Odd family)

Kits

And last but not least, we have little Fidgetkit ˄·͈༝·͈˄ Warmstar is not just a granma in the metaphorical sense, but a literal one as well! Fidget is just a little youngin' but I can tell she wants to be taken seriously. Like I mentioned already, she as seem to have formed a quick bond with Snowyflame (=^ェ^=)

(Note: You may have noticed that Warmstar is listed as Fidget's direct parent. In game, I marked Fidget as Warmstar's adopted kit to prevent any potential accidental incest. That way, Fidget can express any potential recessive genes she could've gotten from her parents and not just give birth to kits that look exactly like her or Warmstar.

I am aware that this will make the in-game family tree a little off-based from what is 'canonical' but this is the best solution I could think of to express the fact that she and Warmstar are grankit/granparent. Without some super technical wizardry)

I'm currently one moon in (well, a part of moon one. I have yet to do any patrols on that moon) but I am excited for this clan's journey after months in digital limbo (^･ω･^)ﾉ"

Yep, this ancient as hell motherfucker is our guide. Don't ask me anything about him. He very recently died and I have a bit of a conspiracy theory that he and Warmstar are related.

rating signatures was such a wild time. design school is exactly like that but way less vicious. you know how sometimes people would just be like “2/10 becuz it’s purple and I don’t like purple :/ you still get 2 though becuz the pic of elsa is okay”

i felt rlly inspired to document some of my clangen clan, hiddenclan after reading thru (too many) other rlly fun blogs as well as just being super compelled by this clans story as i played them.

this is Warmflick and Bluffpaw, a young pregnant queen and an apprentice on the cusp of warriorhood who were sent to safety when their camp was attacked by a rival clan. Warmflick is optimistic that her clanmates will come find them soon but as the moons drag on, they realise that might not be the case

since i played through a lot of this clan before deciding to document it, im going to be doing things a little differently. im going to draw out key events and interactions that i remember instead of following moon to moon (unless i catch up to where i am in game) and generally just play things a little looser and have fun with it. feel free to ask the characters questions too!

Allegiances Part 4 —— The Kits

Ibiskit || 4 M || Lonesome (Adoptive Mother: Moonspeck)

Wispkit || 4 M || Troublesome (Adoptive Mother: Moonspeck)

Ibiskit and Wispkit was born to Moonspeck’s older sister and an unknown father. Still weak from kitting, their mother was unable to make the journey to their new home. Moonspeck promised to watch after them, taking on the responsibility of a new role and new kits. Ibiskit and Wispkit look up to their aunt, but rely on each other more than anyone else.

Clovekit || 3 M || Noisy

Clovekit is the youngest surviving member of the former clan. Her family was lost in the storm, and Clovekit only survived when Warmstar dug her out of the collapsed nursery. Yet despite having no formal caretaker, Clovekit has truly become a child of the clan, with every cat looking out for the bright eyed little kit.

I agree with it entirely but I wanna make my own so I don't derail.

So yeah, is it just me, or is there a hell of a lot more stuff about soft fuzzy romance things regarding wlw than there is about wanting to fuck women?

Romance is lovely, don't get me wrong. But I feel like a lot of the lesbian purity uwu stuff has basically left it so actually talking about wanting to fuck women is taboo? There's a lot of "wlw are attracted to women differently from men and they don't objectify them" going around and regardless of the other issues with that, it seems to come with the assumption that I want hand holding and kisses more than fucking, that I'd never have a one night stand with a woman, that I won't see a gorgeous woman on a bus and wanna fuck her without also wanting to know her hopes and dreams.

I dunno, I'm not actually against nice PG romance stuff. But I also want there to be space to actually be sexually attracted to women and talk about that in all it's filthy glory. "She's so pretty, I wonder what she's thinking?" is a normal thought to have when you see a woman you find attractive but so is "Jesus she's hot, I want to sit on her face".

And the fact I can talk openly about how much I love banging dudes without feeling guilty but typing that made me feel like someone's gonna yell at me for objectifying says a lot, don't ya think?
