"Y'all can't be serious right now" you sounded quite disgruntled with your two minions on other side of the conference call, plotting against your sanity, for universe knows how long!

"Well I mean you two quite literally run the two most loved bakeries of our neighborhood. It shouldn't come as a surprise that we will team you up." Steph's plain and unbothered voice echoes right into your ears, specially the 'team up part'.

"Yeah it shouldn't have been surprising or disappointing if it was someone else Steph. But it's with him. With Soonyoung. The Kwon Soonyoung. Out of all the people out there, you two would at least know best about what he did" your voice started shaking with each word it got closer to mentioning his name ; again ; after 2 whole years.

You still were in disbelief that your two most close ones did this to you. After being with you all those nights you cried till you couldn't breathe anymore, holding your trembling body whenever you had the worst breakdowns to seeing you slowly heal from the scabs and stabs left by him, Steph and Niall were with you the whole time. Them now setting you up with him again, for a silly little fall party felt nothing but seriously insensitive to you.

Pressing down on the side button of the phone, you were now sitting on the bed, all covered up in your comfort blankie with a blacked out screen laying on your lap ; the glass of which reflected the browns and caramels of the backdrop outside the misty windows, onto your own ones.

Fall was finally around the corner, which meant that the roads will now be iced all rusty, drizzled with honey leaves and sprinkled on by dark wine twigs. Fall also meant one more thing...the one very thing that was like the warm covering on your wounds, that meant the most to you above anyone and everyone. Your sycamore tree!

Pushing away the fluffy blanket on your legs, you quickly pulled down your pyajams to get dressed into something more appropriate for the weather outside, something more comfy and something that made you feel like you're back home once again a.k.a soonyoung's brown hoodie. While havocing through your entire wardrobe to take out all his belongings and leave back not a single essence of him around you and on you, the idiot missed out on that one brown hoodie he owned...rather the one he loved the most and the one he gave to you on your first date - under the sycamore tree.

You knew that the only thing, the only friend that could soothe the burns on you right now was that tree, the one true buddy that has stood by your side through the pains even your best friends couldn't heal, the big brother that shadowed you whenever the world's bright rays tried to scorch on your skin. So without wasting any more seconds, you hurriedly ran down the stairs leading to the hall. Upon reaching the main door of your small apartment you twist on the knob to pull open the door, and quite instantly a gust of cinnamon flavored wind engulfs all your senses.

Fall was truly your soul season. No matter how much turmoil your life was going through, or how much clogged your brain was to come up with new ideas, a walk down the leaf stained path of your favorite garden while the season's cool breeze flowed through your hair, definitely helped the caged Robin in you fly free finally.

Since the day Soonyoung broke your heart and left you all alone amidst the rusted haze, you've been visiting this sycamore tree every fall, to reminisce all the warm happy moment spent under its shade. To feel the same happiness as the day you planted the tree with your best friend, when you both were only 8 year olds, with the person who held you like the softest cotton bud dispersing away in the breeze all these years only to tear you off the stem at one go now.

You were consumed in your thoughts about how crazy love was, about how the twigs that have seen two people be in love for so long, hang around it for years, the branches that have been painted with countless giggles and soft kisses, now had its leaves shedding themselves from the agony of seeing its spiriting away child standing beneath it to shelter herself from the bleeding marks left by its other child.

Just as you were about to sit down on the dewy grass covering the entire ground below, your phone notification sound blew up suddenly. Drawing the device out from your tote, your eyes fell onto the lit up screen to see the name you've been running away from all this time.

yourusername welcome back to my postgame penalty box update show: the brady bunch edition!

the boys won 5-2 tonight! and by "the boys" i do not mean brady and josh, because those two are heckin LOSERS! (jk kinda) (i love you both!) (you did lose though to be fair) (mwah!)

with this win, the canucks now have 10 wins in 13 games, which is the fastest the canucks have ever reached 10 wins! we love making history around here, folks!

quinn is at three games since his last penalty and i’m so proud! he's growing (emotionally, not physically)! you know who DID get a penalty? somehow, not brady, who's in the top 5 in the league for most penalty minutes. the man that did crime tonight was your favorite and my "tolerable at best" acquaintance: argus filch's cat, mrs. norris! a.k.a josh!

the three besties were aggressive with each other this game, and i was honestly disappointed that quinn and brady didn't throw hands. he won't fight my rat, but i was hoping he'd tussle with his bf!

brady didn't let me down though! he shoved quinn down in front of the net for zero reason at all <3 and josh and quinny drove each other into the boards (quinn got smushed) and exchanged some shoves! i’ll take what i can get, and i loved it!

way to go, besties! great game! i love you, bradley! i love you way past infinity, quinny! i like you okay, mrs. norris!

latest cohost financial update sounds uhh. non-good, I think

as someone currently working through doubts about "bringing up the rear of the pack" / "holding the team back" / "not giving as good as I get" work-wise on my team at a "start-up" (sort of) (not remotely in the same sense that cohost is a start-up), reading one of the cohost staff basically say "I was the direct point of failure of a deadline that was a key part of how we were planning to make cohost financially sustainable" hit me in a very deep place. I feel for them, sincerely

having said that, "a major wrinkle in our immediate short-term runway is that our current anonymous sole benefactor and personal friend to several of the staff has been incommunicado and we have no way to figure out where they are" sounds like a plot detail from the B-plot of an unreleased episode of Silicon Valley, except it's literally happening to cohost

and it is difficult for me to reconcile that + the various ethical / legal constraints under which cohost operates + the simple fact that they are currently slated to run out of money in April (a.k.a. 3 weeks from now) with any real chance that cohost will continue to exist much longer

which kind of sucks since I was just starting to imagine myself really getting into it? the combination of CSS + MathML support + syntax highlighted code snippets (via codehost) sounds like basically all I could ever ask for, in the event that I ever decided to get serious about recreational programming / math & blogging about it.

I may be able to do some / all of that in Tumblr (I know for a fact that LaTeX support is possible by using custom HTML, it just won't load on the tumblr dash.) but given tumblr's own less than sturdy financial footing this all has the combined effect of making me wonder if I shouldn't just build my own website already

(in case anybody browsing the #cohost tag is tempted to snark back at this post like "oh well good riddance to those folks, I heard [pick your favorite unsavory rumor about the cohost staff]" you're going to have to provide sources, please. I'm not cancelling anybody based off of nothing but a gossip mill and a "trust me bro" pinky swear)

... but also, I spent longer than I had remotely planned on last weekend reading about various high-profile rounds of debate and general community conflict that unfolded on cohost over the past year, some of which involved cohost staff addressing themselves to the userbase in ways that didn't (in my opinion) cast them in the best light. to pose the question whether a staff with a grand total of 4 employees attempting to build, from the ground up, a microblogging platform whose community has attracted users, hence inherited discursive and behavioral practices, from ex-twitter and -tumblr userbases, might get in over their heads is practically to answer it. still, a passing remark from the March financials update seemed to basically confirm that the stress eventually caused staff to start losing their cool, and it seems reasonable to assume that some of the replies staff gave to users (as users themselves and in their official capacity as employees) were a manifestation of that, which is of course no excuse.

so, in conclusion: Fuck. What's a tired code-monkey with a penchant for functional programming / an on-and-off love affair with mathematical typesetting to do when they want a place to blog about it?

Today we're here to tell you all about Localhost HQ, the first setting for the adventures of our protagonist (and fujoshi extraordinaire) Boba-tan.

🏰 Localhost HQ 🏰

So, what is Localhost HQ? Well, we don't have—nor want!—all the details. The vaguer it is, the easier it adapts to any fanfic scenario. On the technical side, computers in a network use "localhost" to refer to themselves, for example to fetch a website they themselves host!

In the #FujoGuide world, Localhost HQ houses all programs that run on a user's own machine as part of the development workflow. Most importantly, the Terminal (a.k.a. Shell), but also programs like Git. In our version, Boba-tan has her very own (relatable) room within it.

🏰 Localhost Character 1: Boba-tan 🏰

Needing no introduction (ok, some introduction), Boba-tan is the author and protagonist of our zine. She was originally designed to serve as @bobaboard's own mascot by @essential-randomness, and brought to life by @ymske.

In our Kickstarter, you can see her all over the place, drawn by many different artists (some of which don't like the spotlight). For our character roster and avatar, she's been brought to life by @ikam177! Witness her in her full glory!

Want to know more about her? Well, she's the blankest slate of them all! Boba-tan is the quintessential fujoshi (or fujin, if you want), meant to embody the best quirks of transformative fandom folks: openness, enthusiasm, creativity, and heaps and heaps of thirst!

🏰 Localhost Character 2: Terminal 🏰

Is it Terminal or is it Shell? You too can now be part of one of programming's most pointless (and thus heated) debates.

Regardless of how you choose to refer to him, we all know who he actually is: the sexy live-in maid-pa of Localhost HQ.

Terminal is a powerful tool in the programming world, used to run other programs and orchestrate complex interactions between them. He also runs the show in the #FujoGuide world, and is able to quickly summon any local program, and to interact directly with the operating system.

This time, the hard work of turning our technical and trope guidance into a bona-fide hottie comes from @brokemycrown—the master of sexiness who also helped us with the overall art direction!

🏰 Localhost Character 4: GitHub 🏰

☁️ Cloud character 1: GitHub ☁️

Unlike Git, GitHub is not a program that runs in a "local environment"—that is, a developer's own computer. Instead, GitHub is a cloud-based service where programmers can upload their own "Git repositories" to share their code with other developers.

In the #FujoGuide world, characters like Git live in ~the cloud~, a network of data spawning around the world and a place we want to carefully avoid showing. In part, to keep an aura of mystery, and in part because mysterious places not well-defined in canon are fujin catnip.

So why is GitHub at Localhost HQ? Because Git is there, of course! The two share a powerful psychic connection. While Git hasn't yet accepted that they're meant to become one, that is not for lack of trying. Much to Terminal's chagrin, GitHub keeps teleporting to HQ, uninvited.

Once again, the amazing artist behind our favorite tentacled catboy is @brokemycrown. We'll probably keep shouting them out over and over again in these spotlights, so just go right ahead and follow them now.

Imagine all our demigods being demigods, BUT, they’re also world-wide stars.

Percy is known to the mortal public as “The Hero” because he is named after Perseus. Girls and boys love his delinquent smirk, the way he sings with his heart and soul and seems so sad when he is on stage. He is a solo singer, but he often makes feats with Piper McLean, also a singer and a model, and from their instagram stories, they seem to be best friends. But the press is on about something else on him, his criminal record. Even though he is always acquitted or the case is abandoned, he was still the famous 2005 hunted kid who got kidnapped, had a rifle duel with his kidnapper. And was rumoured to have blown up the St.Louis Arch and made a fire in his High school. But the conspirators on the twitter and 4chan find plot holes in his story.

The public knows Percy is dating famous choreographer and dancer Annabeth Chase, who also got kidnapped along with him. She also makes appearances on multiple TV series along with famous Artist and actress Hazel Levesque. But hold on ! Doesn’t Hazel Levesque look a lot like this girl from the 40s ? And they share the same last name ? Is she a descendant of hers ?

And The public and press notices that she is close to another famous person, Jason Grace. The winner of the Fencing summer Olympics. But hold on ! Doesn’t he also seem familiar ? Wait, isn’t he the son of famous Hollywood singer and actress, Beryl Grace ? Also known as Beryl Disgrace ? People start calling him Jason Disgrace after he fails a duel, he begs them on twitter to stop because he feels uncomfortable. Is he actually her son ? If so, where is his older sister, Thalia Grace, who was known to be the cutest child model for America ? Why did they disappear so suddenly, and why, did they not come to their mother’s public funeral ? Were they that shielded from the public ?

Jason Disgrace is seen a lot with Percy Jackson and Frank Zhang. Frank, who is a The winner of the Weightlifting Olympics, and participated in the Archery olympics, he is also known to be Hazel’s partner. How do so many known and famous people be mutual best friends ? But wait, there’s more…

Both Hazel Levesque and Jason Grace and their friends seem to be friends with two other people. Nico Dii Angelo and Will Solace. Let’s start with the easy one, Will Solace, a.k.a, Wilhem Andrew Solace. He won the the Archery Olympics, where he participated with Frank Zhang, who seems to also be his friend. But outside of that, he was spotted at Columbia University, where he apparently studies PhDs in Biomedical Sciences program. He posts multiple photos with his best friends, especially one in particular ; Nico Dii Angelo.

Nico Dii Angelo is a mystery to the public, he never posts anything on his instagram except for puppy pictures and McDonald’s menues and food. Multiple people have spotted him on multiple trains or boats, sometimes even on the same day, but in places too far to travel in in just one day. So how does he do it ? Wait, hold up, is he another time traveler ? Niccolo Dii Angelo, an Italian young boy who lived in America after immigrating from Italy in the 40’s, has a striking resemblance to Nico Dii Angelo, from a screenshot taken from a McDonald’s security camera when he was 11. Why is he so known ? Well, Niccolo Dii Angelo, was apparently the son of a mafia family, which might be the reason they might have fled to America. Even though it is not confirmed, there might be a liaison between Niccolo Dii Angelo and Nico Greco, Nico Greco being a fake name to hide his new identity.

Niccolo Dii Angelo and The Levesque girl are both from the 40s, coincidence ? At multiple times Hazel Levesque and Nico Dii Angelo call each other siblings, even though they look nothing alike.

Adding onto this, there is also an 8th member to this conspiracy, Leo Valdez. He has more ran away more than 3 times from foster homes, which he got in because his mother died during a fire due to a problem with a malfunctioning machine. He is seen on the backstage of both Piper’s and Percy’s concerts, fiddling with a broken machine. Sometimes he steps up on stage to fix a technical problem, and laugh along with the public. He is also seen with Jason Grace, helping with equipments in the Olympics. He can also be spotted on some famous series stage where Hazel or Annabeth play. He is also quiet present on all of these people’s instagram and twitter accounts, where he can be seen close to fire or machinery, in plus of his own twitter account.

So, How does Percy Jackson, a kidnapped kid and now singer and model for top brands, date Annabeth Chase, a prodessional Choreographer, dancer and actress, and also a kidnapped kid ? How are they both friends with Piper McLean, Daughter of World wide known star Tristan McLean, and known singer and Model ? And how are these three both friends with Jason Grace, that some thought was dead ? And do they all know the time travellers Hazel Levesque and Nico Dii Angelo ? And how is Gloomy Nico Dii Angelo dating sunshine boy Will Solace ? And Hazel Levesque dating Frank Zhang who is friend with all of them. And who is Leo Valdez ? Is he just an Npc with a backstory or just a friend ?

First of all I want to give a great big thank you to @hollowed-hallowed for creating and hosting the rarepair event in July.  It is from that wonderful event that I got the idea for this and therefore credit is extended to them. 

As discussed in this post, I am challenging all the wonderful Bonnie fandom creators to answer the question: If you could give Bonnie Bennett the perfect love interest who would it be? 

That’s right --- I am encouraging you all to have fun and create a character for the TVDU that would be perfect for our witch.  Which trope would you choose?  Enemies to lovers?  Childhood friend? Would they be a fellow witch?  A werewolf?  Some new species TVD has never seen before?  Anything goes just as long as you are having fun.  You can present your character by create fanart, a vid, a short fic --- do it whatever way feels best to you.

The following are basic (a.k.a. vague) prompts to get your creative juices following but do not necessarily have to be adhered to.

Archery was the representation of history and tradition forgotten by time. For the mere fact that Sova professionally used it on the battlefield, it scored him some extra points. (Notably towards the younger agents.)

"I remember trying those archery things when I was a kid cause I wanted to look cool." Neon was awed at the futuristic design on Sova's bow. "My back hurt like hell the next day though, so I gave up."

It's alright Neon, Sova did horribly on his first day as well. Ahem ahem.

Once upon a time; First arrow, First step towards the greatness hidden from humankind.

The next day, the arrow misses and goes through his Babushka's favorite knitted blanket. Never has he felt so terrified in his life. The end.

Speaking of knitting, I can see Sova enjoying Omen's knitted crafts since he thinks it's so warm and homey! Like he was always told to stay warm despite enjoying the cold.

Omen knitted Sova that black beanie for Secret Santa.

Sova is THE go-to person on missions if the atmosphere is tense. (Unless he was part of the cause of it or your Cypher).

He gives the older brother vibes to the younger agents, need advice? He'll give you some, only if you your advice in return. That's how the world heals: pure support.

Too cold in Icebox? He'll lend you his massive fur coat, big enough to provide warmth for 3-4 people.

One of the most resourceful agents in Valorant, give some scrap and watch it transform to a simple masterpiece.

He probably throws darts as a backup in case he doesn't have his bow beside him.

Darts, muscle sweaty arms of intense Sova dart match, his toned back... AHEM.

When they found out about this niche talent of his, ohohohooho you better get ready for your sleep schedule to get interrupted Sova.

This leads to him getting forced into a competition between the agents! Only bet Jett wins against Yoru every time cause she experienced the tricks Sova uses firsthand. (A.k.a. Plan R in case she buys too many knives.)

One extremely happy man when Jett called his drone cute.

One time Sova was admiring Skye's hawk perched upon rafters until Killjoy's turret accidentally alarmed it. Killjoy is now prohibited from tinkering with his equipment.

Do you guys know how Sova, Breach and Raze first interacted? Sova was practicing his lineups while Breach was testing his blinds. The Russian shot the arrow, and with perfect accuracy, landed inside Breach's arm. And jammed the whole thing.

Breach was not happy. Raze swore she lost all her bones from holding back her partner in crime, best friend, and brother forever, from attacking the Russian.

Brimstone is another Father to Sova.

So Brimstone locks the three of them inside the storage room like a dad handling his children's arguments. (Viper did not approve but kept her mouth shut once she saw them getting along when she exited her lab.)

Teaches the others how to treat their wounds without Radiant powers or technology. The old-fashioned bandages way. Sova does not like Sage or Skye tiring themselves out.

Is very interested in Astra's studies! He picks up the name of the star and their origins once in a while.

Let me tell you, he can stand his ground against Reyna. She stops and eventually targets other agents, only for him to show up again. She ends up just toning down and waits until they’re on the battlefield.

He does not care for Cypher. No. He. Does. Not.

(Deep down, he does. This is the only reason why he doesn't act hostile towards Cypher when he's being buddy-buddy. He just keeps quiet. And quietly explodes when he's a bit irritated with him.)

Has a nice afternoon drink with Sage when they're on a downtime. Sage likes teaching Sova her favorite hairstyles. My personal favorite: Sova braided man bun.

-"Oh come on Jungwon, where are you?" you asked yourself as you tried to call your friend.

Claire's POV

"FOR THE LOVE OF MY ARSE I JUST NEED A CRIT DMG MAIN STAT HAT FOR CHILDE!" 

Once again, the screen of my laptop displayed the result of artifacts I got from the domain. I was getting tired of the same Def% status I got instead of the Crit ones. It was 2 AM in the morning and I'm still grinding to build my Childe. 

"Come on, Claire, it's not that bad, you got some Crit sub-stats." A voice can be heard from the other side of the world. Tyrex and Jess, two of my best friends, is with me now. In Genshin. We are calling in a voice channel since we can't really meet up in real life. 

"You could give it to Albedo," Jess suggested, trying to lift up the mood. I sigh in exasperation as I told her that Albedo was perfectly built and does not need any new or better artifacts. 

"It's getting late. Maybe Mihoyo doesn't want you to sleep at 3-4 AM every day." Tyrex said with a sneer. I scoffed playfully and retorted back. "Yeah right Ms. I-don't-sleep-but-I-still-get-good-artifacts." We all laughed as we waited for our screens to lead us out of the domain.

"Darn it, no resin left." I opened my inventory to see if I have any spare fragile resin, but it was to no avail. I sighed once more. 

Goodness, when will I be lucky in this game? 

Never, and you know it.

Suffering from the 50-50 loss all the time, I decided to give up on my luck in the rolls. However, I thought I might have some luck left for domains. It was wrong. I was dumb to think that it is a possibility. 

"I think I'm heading off now. I'll just yeet myself from your world and sleep." Jess logged out of the co-op and bid us farewell. Without a minute, Tyrex heads out as well as she would like to play other games instead of Genshin. By 5 minutes after the farewell goodbyes, I logged of Discord and went back to Genshin, just to farm for future updates. 

It's now 10 minutes to 3 AM and I'm still fighting some hilichurls. Since it was not that hard to fight them off, I used another team just for fun. It was a shame that I decided to pick out the healer team instead of the shield team. The character on the screen now, a.k.a Jean is heading towards another pile of hilichurls. Our so-called targets are dancing around a bonfire in Dragonspine. 

"I'm so sorry" I stated to no one in particular and started to lung the enemies to the nearest body of water. Barbara quickly took Jean's position and created her water hoop of healing. Then in mere seconds, it was switched to Diona as a shield starts to form around her. And by the next switch, it was Sayu with her claymore and rolling abilities. She rolled around them to create a swirl effect before Jean took her place and threw the hilichurls into the water. Before she could take the things dropped in the water, a sudden attack of blue arrows launched towards her, making her freeze. 

"WAIT— HUH? OH! I MISSED ONE" I spam the space button on the keyboard to escape from the freezing form. Jean dashes towards the left-over hilichurl and threw them into the body of water, this time for good. 

"Not bad. Could be worse, but oh well." I shrugged my shoulders before seeing the time again. 

"I— 4.30 AM?! SHOOT I HAVE A MEETING TOMORROW! WAIT NO, TODAY!! it's in like... 5 MORE HOURS?!" I quickly logged off Genshin and shuts down my laptop. I quickly did my night routines and lay on the bed after. I sighed as I looked at the ceiling. What my friends didn't know is that I sleep by trying to do this trend named Shifting. It's like transferring yourself into another dimension, wherever you want. But with multiple failed attempts, I decided that it was a 'too good to be true' reality. My eyes strayed off the ceiling and towards my laptop on the table in the room. 

"I think I'm way too addicted to this game." I turned away from the table and positioned myself to look at the wall instead, thinking it could be way interesting than the laptop. Which is not. But staring into nothingness just made me even sleepier. The world started to dim itself as my eyelids cover my vision and left me in the dark.

I opened my eyes to see the bright light coming from the skies above me. My pupils started to adjust my vision with the intensity of the light before I realized, why can I see the skies? 

A bird screeched and flew by the sky. My mind is trying to process everything I see. From the blue skies to the cool blue ocea— 

"HUH?!" My body sprang from the ground— or should I say sand— and sat right up. With the frantic beating of my heart, I took in the whole new scenery in front of me. Although the sky here is way gorgeous than the sky at home, it was still a big shock that I went from sleeping in the comfort of my house to the sandy beach with a fantastic view.

"This could be a dream... Yes. That's right... a lucid dream..." I looked at my hands and decided that I should slap myself real hard. So I did. 

"A SHIT— MOTHERFU–HmmmPhMH" I hold my right cheek in pain. Wait, pain.. huh... that's weird. Since the water was clear enough to reflect the clouds, I went to the body of water to check on myself. It was then that I realized, I look different AND my cheeks are red. 

"Huh.. maybe I shifted? But I didn't plan nor scripted it.. and even if I did, I put the 'no pain + high pain tolerance' in one of the attributes..." I started to walk back and forth, trying to figure out which world did I accidentally went to. 

"But... wait... Chicken Nuggets!" I closed my eyes and said the safe word I dictated in order to bring me back to reality. However, when my eyelids flutter open, I'm still on the beach. My eyebrows scrunched in confusion. Slowly but surely, my brain processes each and every possibility of this event. 

"I can feel pain, I can NOT go back home, and the sun is setting. The only conclusion here is... I got isekai-d into wherever this place is.. "

IMPOSSIBLE!!" I screamed at my final conclusion. The birds around the area flew by the sudden sound. I went back to see my reflection by the water before it really turned into nighttime. My hair turned from brown to maroon red as my eyes went from hazel into sky blue. My stubby hands are now slender and my clothes... are still my clothes.. 

Wait I'm still using my pajamas— 

Thank goodness I chose to sleep in hoodies and shorts. But wait my undergarments— 

Swiftly lurking left to right, I can guarantee no one else is on the beach but me. I took a sneak peek inside my hoodies and sigh in relief that I was actually using proper undergarments. 

Huh, must've forgotten to take them off 

I didn't know how I still got my undergarments to despise loving the free moments at home. Nevertheless, it was one of those rare occasions that I am actually grateful to wear these uncomfy-lifting things. 

Wait did I get smaller boo—

"Uhhh Paimon thinks that we interrupted someone's privacy" a loud, high-pitched voice was heard from my right side. My head turned to their way in nanoseconds that I think my neck was cracked (no it didn't). A small flying human and a long-haired male with a crop top stood there looking at me, who is looking at my own booba. My eyes went wide as I instantly recognize them. 

"PAIMON?!"

Title: Competiting while Pregnant

Here's my June's Secret Art Trade for my good'ol pal, @carmenramcat. 😊

Here's a little background story for the current pro motocross career Rita Speedster. And Rita will share us her story, the floor is yours. 😁

Rita 🐶🚺: It was the January of 1993, I was competing at the biggest Motocross event in San Diego, California, USA. While I was dominating the course w/ my tremendous stunts & skills, my belly suddenly hurt twice while riding on my dirt bike. 😣 Yes, yes, you noticed that I was pregnant while competing. I mean, have you seen Serena Williams doing what does best while pregnant? That was the same situation as mine. After I get the gold, my husband (Bonn) send me to the hospital to check my pregnancy test & it was proved that I have two children inside my stomach & my husband held my hand saying "You made us proud, Rita.". Bonn satisfies me not just by winning the gold, but also because we have soon-to-be-born twins. And the Speedster Twins was born on May 6th, 1993. The same year as our creator was born. 😊

Me 🇵🇭: Aww wow, hope your memory won't forget, anytime soon. ☺

Rita 🐶🚺: It sure is. And also my asawa, too. Who was busy and training at the test course for their next Grand Prix.🙂 And by the way, I was leaving my Motocross career owing to my pag-aalaga ng bata (child care) before I get back on the track, 3 years later. So, yeah. 😉 I've already told to my entire pamilya (family), so I have no problem to tell it again.😁

BATTLE BEAST Singer NOORA LOUHIMO Opens Up About Weight Struggles And Depression

BATTLE BEAST singer Noora Louhimo has opened up about struggling with generalized anxiety disorder and weight.

Louhimo, who last year released her debut solo album, "Eternal Wheel Of Time And Space", under the NOORA LOUHIMO EXPERIENCE banner, joined BATTLE BEAST in 2012 with no previous experience as a metal vocalist but quickly acclimated herself as the replacement for Nitte Valo (a.k.a. Nitte Vänskä).

Earlier today (Monday, December 12),the 34-year-old Finnish-born vocalist took to her Instagram to write: "Have you ever thought of losing weight? Are you depressed or anxious? I have, ALL MY LIFE.

"I have been struggling with eating disorders and my weight since I was a little child and still trying to find a balance. I have been depressed and anxious sometimes 'without a reason'. Just resently it appeared, most of this was caused by the imbalance in my body that was caused by life without routines and bad decisions. I wanted to start a journey to myself and what I COULD DO to make myself feel better in my skin and in my head.

"SO HERE, this method is worth trying:

"1. Go to sleep and wake up everyday the same time (for example: I wake up at 7 am and go to sleep 11 pm) AND sleep everyday at least 8 hours. There can be exceptions like when I have late shows. But 90% of the time my goal is to keep the same sleeping rhythm.

2. Eat at least 3 times a day, 3-4 hours between the meals. (For example I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and evening snack) Your blood sugar stays steady throughout the day and there are less cravings.

3. Move your ass - Find your sport and do it at least 3 times a week. (For example I love dancing, gymnastics and running (with Bobby my dog.) The most important thing is that you have fun.

4. Talk nicely to yourself and avoid judging - if you keep talking to yourself as you would talk to your best friend (supporting, loving, kind way) this will make your thinking into doing eventually and you have more believe in yourself and what you are doing. It is important to be the kind parent to yourself - Sometimes it is okay to have a sweet snack or lay on couch and watch a movie. But sometimes it is time to say to yourself: Enough is enough, now go and seize the day, enjoy life. After all, we all are here trying to do our thing, trying to succeed in life, enjoy life, make life, be inventive, be something, BE HUMAN.

"Today is a good day for thinking - What kind of life I WANT and HOW DO I GET IT. OR I am part of life on this Earth, what kind of part do I want to play in it?

"Have a nice thinkful Monday".

In an interview with Metal Divas, Noora explained how she ended up fronting BATTLE BEAST: "[In] September [2012], I got a call from [then-BATTLE BEAST guitarist] Anton [Kabanen] that they want me to join BATTLE BEAST. I had heard their music and loved the sound and the vocals, so the next day I called Anton and said I'm in.

"Anton found me by accident on YouTube when he was searching for the new vocalist," she continued. "He had been looking for a vocalist — male or female; [it did not] matter. The only thing that mattered was can that [he or she could] sing his songs without compromises.

"I've been singing since I was four years old," Noora added. "While being a huge fan of heavy metal of '80s and a teenager, I had some classical singing lessons when I was 16 years old. Then at the age of 19, I started studying music in pop/jazz line. At the same time, I started doing some jam sessions at bars. There I found my first band (ADMIRAL OCTOPUS) in the blues bar. We used to play rock and blues music from '60s-'70s and Janis Joplin was the reason I got the rasp in my voice. After ADMIRAL OCTOPUS, in 2011, I took part in a singing competition ('Wanna Be A Rock 'N' Roll Star') at Henry's Pub of Tampere and won it with Janis Joplin's 'Piece Of My Heart'. That's how my single 'Relax' was born."
