I finally got into the void. I've been trying for sooooo long, like a year now and honestly I spent a lot of time not even really trying so its kinda my fault but I finally pulled myself together and I've been listening to all of your void subs and then last night I tried gorgeouslypinks fild method and I didn't even wake up 6 hours later because I woke up randomly in the middle of the night like 3 hours but I did it then and it was so weird, like I was finger tapping one second and then the next I was like walking somewhere and then I had done some research about lucid dreams before and there's this thing called reality checking and for some reason, I decided to reality check so I poked my index finger through my hand and it literally went through and I realized I was in a lucid dream. I knew some people got kicked out of lucid dreams for being too excited so I tried to calm down and walk around some more and then I created a portal for the void state. I felt hella stupid because I like pretended I was doctor strange making that portal but it acctually worked and then I just went into the portal and the void is acctually so scary. Like yk everyone describes it as calm and like it was but it was sooo silent and like idk how to explain it, it felt like I was stuck in the deep sea. I wouldn't know how that feels but like that's how I'd think it would feel. So I just quickly affirmed that I had my desired face and left and today I woke up and I look so pretty. Like im so obsessed with my face. I kind of look like a Olivia Hussey, Kate Hudson mix. Honestly, I look really similar to Romee strijid but like honey brown eyes and dimples. Honestly, I regret not affirming that I enter the void state every night or anything like that but now that I know I can do it, I'm more confident and I'll do it next time and I won't be scared of how silent the void is. And just thank you so much. Honestly your posts motivated me so much and made me get off my lazy butt and actually work towards getting into the void and I feel like your subliminals really worked too, like I really felt my mindset changing and I'm just so emotional rn, like a mix of happy, regretful, excited, sad, and grateful.

Favorite Color:

Green. Like Blindingly Neon almost yellow bile/acid toxic hazmat pukey green. Also black. I'm also a fan of earthy tones, warm greys and browns, rusty orangey reds, and i also unironically love that "some smoker lived here for 5+ years but i swear the walls are white" sepia color.

Last song:

Either Childish Flamingo or 1x1. I've been hopping in between really screamy and just goofy shit atm because i cant focus with anything else. 🤷 But (I also jsut got a new BMTH hoodie) BMTH's post human album has been feeding me. It's a really good (visual? no.) example of that like just angry and over it nihilist feeling and I just *MUNCH CRUNCH AAAA* like i feel like it could be just the tiniest bit angrier and louder but i think that's my headphones.

as for childish flamingo, its like that miseryxcpr thing imo. It's goofy and funny and it slaps. and it's so catchy. it's like right on the edge of aha funny and fuck you street and i love it. i hope any of that makes sense im sorry lol.

Last movie:

the Demon Slayer movie. I skipped all the way to the end to see the fight between Akaza and Rengoku because they're two of my favs ( in order from that show: Uzui (my mom calls yuzu (my cat) Uzui and its adorable) Akaza and Rengoku. I Found out the english dub is out (im way behind) and just needed to hear their english voice acting. all of it is amazing and Akaza's lil gigles during the fight make me incredibly happy. Guys who laugh/giggle mid combat? Ugh >\\x//<

Currently Watching:

Demon Slayer, Chainsaw man, Tokyo ghoul (im rewatching a bunch of animes) Steven universe. (i love all of these and full recommend them. I literally just yesterday(or the day before idk time is a blur) got a new funko pop, it's the half-kakuja kaneki and i love it.)

Other stuff i've watched this year:

Spy x Family, the Junji ito Collection, Yamishibai (if you like picture style art and horror this is great, its somewhat junji ito like, but shorter stories and ngl the zanbai ep scared me a bit) psychpass (some reccomended this to me cause im (obviously) a fan of darker more gruesome shows, and it is very dystopian, love the art work, but i just dont get it.) Given (if you havent watched this show please watch it its amazing) Yuri on ice, Banana Fish (also another fave)

(I work from home, and pretty much exist at my computer, and need to keep on music or tv to keep the bad thoughts out, so i have a lot of time and opportunity to watch stuff ok)

Shows I dropped this week:

Psycho pass. again, i just couldnt get into it. I know a lot of people seem to really like and it full seems like a show that would be up my alley. that first ep was kind of a lot though. I'm not ashamed to admit i love shows that are unafraid to show nudity and violence but the two together (ifykyk) make me uncomfortable. If this case had been a little further in the show i think it would have been fine, but it's litterally the first like ten minutes of the show. I also tried watching this a few week ago while at wasteland but we were pretty much just out the door.

Devil May Cry. I still love the games and the characters, and i remember loving the anime as a kid but its just... so different from the games lmao.

Currently Reading:

random internet stuff, fics and shit. I feel bad because i used to go to the library all the time but at the same time, i dont really have the room to store a whole bunch of books and despite being super dyslexic, i read insanely fast, so renting/buying books isnt worth it to me. (i've read entire full length series in the span of a day or two, while doing other stuff. I need longer, more conveniently packaged novels and that typically comes in the form of fanfiction. )

2. take your time!!

i know im one to apologize for taking so long on fics- but from me to you; please don’t rush yourself! again- everyone is super duper kind- and they won’t mind if you take some time to finish up! posting is hard, and you’re only making it harder on yourself if you rush!

3. it’s okay to take a step back!

im stealing a teeeeny tiny page from toast’s book here (thank you toasttt <3) but if you get stuck or if you catch yourself being a little bit too hard on your work, it’s okay to take a step back and come back later! sometimes a break is all you need to get your creative juices up and running again!

4. don’t stress yourself out about activity!

another one that im guilty of- but when I post fics and headcannons- i noticed very early on that i get kinda anxious about it after i do. that’s mostly because im always worried that nobody is going to like it. please please please DON’T do that to yourself!!! if you’re the type to do this too- the best thing that works for me is to close out tumblr and come back a couple of hours later!

5. YOU come first!

mental health is super super super important! i know it’s a given- but still! please always remember that YOU come first! if you’re uncomfortable with a writing prompt- you don’t have to do it! if you’re stressed with your work load- it’s okay to take a break! if something comes up- please please please don’t stress about your blog! i speak for everyone when i say we will understand!! you are just as important as your work!

i didnt get to know phillipa that much so not much to say. burnham is so standoffish, idk if we have anough time to unravel her dimensionally. sylvia is kind of more annoying than endearing. lorca is lorca. ofc i dont like him (except i DO like an unperfect captain - i just wonder if hes redeemable). stamets is so catty like i get it yes be proud of your ideas that people might be ignorant towards but bruh still theres not enough good quality to counterbalance it so far. saru looks cool sure but hes so blatantly crass towards even other non-human lifeforms when he himself is non-human, cuz sry all that "crack it open" bullshit is gross af, desperation or not. i would NOT want him as my acting captain, ill say that, no matter how pretty he might be. i like ash tyler the most so far. i mean i get it its only episode 5 of 15 in s1 of 5 seasons - but still maybe im not too used to this many characters simultaneously being difficult to connect with. im gonna wait and see if this all develops. saru's feet. are hooflike his hands are so expressive his shape is so hes so lank. im SO impressed with how amazing he looks up close. i can SEE the subsurface scattering of his skin and the blood in his veins yeah please. we need this small talk with saru. thanks. k. i needed to see this redemptive quality in saru and co. cuz the getgo, everyones so adverse to alignment and connectivity

I love reading pikmin fanfiction! i love looking at the fanart! i love learning about all the AUs out there!..

But when i wanna make fanart for other people’s pikmin related stuff... i just get scared? like, i get all nervous and scared that they won’t like it or worried about what they might think about me-

Especially if they mentioned liking my stuff in the past or hell even followed me! like, aAAAA am i allowed to do this?????? i mean??? AA?? i don’t think i know the people here enough that they would like, idk. not think of it in the wrong way when i make art for them..

guess this is just my usual overthinking but i kinda got a feeling that i haven’t been here long enough for all of this, but i still wanna draw art of other people’s characters but i feel i need permission to do so, what do you think? ;v;

OKAY so my playlist is aaaa big mess tbh ahkfbdjfb i have several for different moods or genres or like themes (? but half of the time i'll just be listening to every song in my phone on shuffle and there's a bit of almost everything hsjfbsjd

this past year i've gotten really into hyperpop and scenecore, stuff like 6arelyhuman, ayesha (as u know hehe), rebzyyx, lil mariko etcetc. i've also gone back to my origins as a huge emo weeb and i'm listening to a lot of 2000s/2010s emo bands (get scared, mcr, msi, three days grace etc) and some vocaloid again too. that's probably most of it but there's some other things too!! some metal sometimes –i love how the music sounds but sadly i don't know much about the bands– same thing with visual kei, and a friend kinda got me back into kpop too hwkhfskf i'm not that big of a fan as i was anymore and i know part of the community is hella toxic but some songs just slap. i also like more chill music sometimes and cavetown is definitely my go-to for that.

i don't use spotify often but i could try to make a playlist with my favourites sometime and post it!! i was also thinking of doing dol character playlists since i haven't really been able to find any (do recommend if you know any plz). so yeah!!

Elaborating on this

(Warning: this may come off as whiny if you don’t care about these characters, so feel free to stop reading at any point)

So I’ve been trying a lot to remind myself Steven Universe is just a cartoon (at the same time it’s also not tho?) but I’ve been really passionate about these characters for years and I got a lot of big feelings so oops here we go

Enter Season Five; after years of struggling, Sadie has finally found her voice!

Watching someone so shy and reserved suddenly befriending and jamming with the Cool Kids (who had her back every step of the way!) and donning a badass horror aesthetic was so empowering and inspiring, and before long they were all performing as Sadie Killer and the Suspects in legitimate, breathtaking rock shows!

But then Future arrived and decided we can’t have nice things.

Pardon my French, but doing away with such an iconic part of the show (i.e. breaking up the band) was an unnecessary dick move disguised as part of a lesson.

Just think about this from every perspective (story-telling, character development of each individual involved, etc.), how is this a logical step forward from any point of view?

And the confusing part? Sadie didn’t even quit music, she just quit being Sadie Killer? And what about their tours occurring in Little Homeschool just 8 episodes prior?

Think about the Suspects, too, of course! Does anyone honestly, genuinely think that pursuing out-of-nowhere* stuff like medical school and phone jackets is more in character for any of them than wanting to revel in the thrill of being a rock star?

Still want them to drift away from Steven? Easy, just send them on a world tour instead of messing with the handful of fans that dared to care about the so-called “townies”.

(*I really don’t think we should have to consider any specific hypothetical events that might have happened in the two-year gap if even the Crewniverse couldn’t come up with any. There are consequences to forcing us to see the show’s events from Steven’s perspective and no one else’s.)

Hello c!karlnapity enjoyers! Has canon broken your heart and convinced you that love is dead? Do you want a warm, fluffy fix-it fic to numb the pain? Well uh. Unfortunately I don't have that for you but! I can offer my self-indulgent, canon-divergent, karlnapity-centric character study in these trying times?

Title: "there is nothing in the past that you belong to" by MouseOnVenus

Summary: "His gaze passes over an old photograph and he immediately averts his eyes, deciding to instead resume his staring out the window.

He’s had that photo up forever, but he hasn’t yet brought himself to take it down. It was taken during a simpler time, and it’s one of the few evidences he has that such a time ever existed. The image of himself, Karl and Quackity giving stupid grins to the camera hurts to look at, but if there’s no pain, then there might as well not be any good either, right?

Thinking about the photograph and its carefree subjects gives an odd twist to Sapnap’s gut, so he tries not to think about it. He tries not to think about how empty Kinoko’s streets are, how few people from that happier time he has left. He doesn’t think about how everybody he ever loved either hates him, is corrupted or imprisoned, or sleeping.

Sapnap and Quackity were sure that their relationship was irreparable, but when Karl loses a life and comes back without any memory of either of them, they're forced to navigate a new normal.

Nobody does a perfect job at adjusting."

I feel like being an ambivert in this group could go one of both ways depending on if you're an introvert w extrovert tendencies or the other way around

hard, introvert with extrovert tendencies, which basically means that you're pretty introverted, won't talk to knew people unless spoken to first but once you do you ease up a bit, once friends you get louder and more hyper showing your extrovert side. you like parties and such despite the fear you have of them, etc. I feel like this would be hard because pretty much everyone in the feral boys is extroverted, save for dream who's an ambivert but super extroverted online! so their energy might scare you but it also draws you in leading you to becoming friends! you probably have a soft spoken voice which the boys fail to notice at first - causing you to get spoken over a lot, just things of that kind! but they get used to it and your contrast fits well :)

they will also help you if you forget English words, though tubbo forgets a lot as well so ranboo or Tommy would probably be your best bet to go to!

as I do with my most recent cartoon posting reviews, this one contains SPOILERS! so If you want to watch these completely blind then do so before reading this!

Also the first episode of Villanos is completely free 2 watch on Youtube as well. If u REALLY want 2 watch their series, either wait for American Cartoon Network to accept them and make dubs OR get a VPN, whatever fits u best

I waited... 3 YEARS for the series to debut on Cartoon Network, and you know what? The wait was worth it! Amidst all the hardships and well... shitty stuff going on in the studio, I really REALLY still hope everything's better now, for AnimaStudios, the animators and Alan Ituriel itself, you guys did a great job!

As for the series itself... hohoho, I'm just adnajsdnjasnjad AA

It's about this organization, directed by Black Hat, the supreme super villain and the embodiment of pure evil, all episodes are about recruiting villains with the help of Dr. Flug, Demencia and 5.0.5, who together will also fight heroes and serve lord Black Hat (so that they don't fucking die)

I really liked the writing, all the references and cameos, the heroes and the villains, and also the fact that we get juicy JUICY lore! Also what was the deal with Ms.Heed and why she was an important character, I get it now... and I REALLY like the fact that they didn't "softened" Black Hat, he's still pure evil and I FUCKING LOVE THAT (but not in that way...), and I also feel the same way with the other characters, they never changed, Demencia's craziness, wackiness and her obsession with Black Hat, Dr. Flug's reserved, more ethical personality and his silly lines (they're so good) and 5.0.5 is still a wuzzy bear yaya

Now, I'm quite curious if Dr.Flug actually liked Cecilia (Ms.Heed) before she stole his plans and became a hero, cuz it kinda seems that was the deal... and still curious about his face and Demencias and 5.0.5's origins. I'm guessing Black Hat is just the embodiment of pure evil and that's it, tho an origin story about him would be epic too.

Also if you've noticed, I haven't talked about the animation yet like I always do, and about that... that's really the main thing holding it back from becoming the fucking series of Mexican Cartoon Network. The animation is kinda wack, like it's quite nice, some scenes were wonderful! but sometimes it's incosistent, stiff or blobby, BUT that's probably just picky me, I'm guessing the series animation will eventually get better with new seasons and more episodes, but yeah, that's the only thing for me.

Overall, really good, was worth the wait, you guys did a great job, please support for it to continue pretty please :]]]

Sustos Ocultos de Frankelda (The Hidden Scares of Frankelda)

Now THIS. THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT!

It's rare to see stop motion animation from other places other than the US but HOHOHO it didn't go behind! Sustos Ocultos de Frankelda is FUCKING AWESOME! Props to the studio behind it and oh my good I really like the concept artist behind the character design, these look so great AAAA

The series is about this ghost named Frankelda, who's trapped in a haunted house with her haunted book, in the series, she tells her spooky scary stories to the audience in hopes to escape the haunted house and for everyone in the world to know her tales and be free.

The animation in this case, the stop motion is VERY good looking and very well served! The models look so pretty and wonderful and the scares (the monsters) designs were also S tier, very very cool and spooky stuff!

As for the stories and the series themselves, they were very interested and hooked me up! I really like how the stories themselves always end up in tragedy in hopes that the kids who watch it learn whatever the lesson is, it adds to the spooky stuff, and I like how they changed it so that's more inclined on good morals and self love more that just be obedient and good for other people's benefit. I wonder if Frankelda will escape or her series will end in tragedy like her stories. Also the design change for the guy that once was Frankelda's partner (and now it's a book lmao), was great, with him just being a guy with wings would've been pretty lacking IMPO, his current design looks coolio and more like a creature than just a pretty boy with wings.

The addition of the songs (I'm guessing to buy time) were quite okay I guess? But I think thats better than elongate the story and for it to become boring if they really wanted each episode to be 14 minutes long, also add to Frankelda somehow, with the last episode singing out the intro song, it just seems that she also has a kack for music writing as well

fucking amazing, loved it, please watch it and continue supporting it, the 5 episodes were worth it, it's just AAA I LOVED IT!!
