Mandalas are said to have health benefits like treating stress, depression & anxiety which is why they are encouraged for art therapy...I made these four when I was going through the worst transition of my life and I took refuge in coloring these with intention. Each mandala is tied to an emotion I felt whilst working on them. Can you guess what emotion is tied to each picture?

Anyway, despite what’s going on in the world, I decided to challenge myself mentally to share my personal art (inspired by my African upbringing) with the world for the first time through an Etsy store yesterday. It’s scary sharing something so intimate and that came from the deep depths of your soul, you know. I still get chills when I revisit some pieces...it’s that personal.
