now things I accept that Aemond not killing Luce was very much wrong and I hated that too. Because it was not good for plot tbh for me. It's just messing up with already messed up world building. Aemond as a villian got a very much reason to Luce n y should he not ? now that's thing I genuinely think that was done wrong regarding Aemond's character, people hating it is very much justified because it very much makes luc's death stupid rather than sad.

But making up reasons like they gave everything to Aemond like they didn't made Aemond totally bad during drift mark scene as we get sympathy for rhaena n we understood her reason for being angry on Aemond atleast n Aemond insulting her. but in books it's lit Nyra's kids who were not minding their own business n Aemond was just beating them n throwing them far away from him instead of killing them with rock like in the show but ofcourse this wasn't visible to team black Stans. Because in the book honestly Aemond was very much correct during drift mark scene.

They removed viserys's taunting Aemond regarding dragon which was very important.

They showed Harwin beating Criston but we all know it was Criston who took both Harwin and Daemon easily and so many of I started to count regarding team green were done equally wrong.

you’ve been friends with lucas, dustin, mike, and max ever since everything with the demogorgons went down.

you didn’t even mean to get involved in the first place.

being friends with robin, you came by one day to say hello. only to be pulled into the back room of scoops ahoy to help translate a mysterious tape recording.

and since then, everything changed.

and now here you were a year later, pulling up to hawkins high to pick up a group of children from their D&D club meeting.

it seemed too crazy, it was your final year in high school. you never saw yourself befriending the freshmen and even steve harrington.

as you parked your car you see them all walk out, looking cheerful and excited from the game they had just played, bringing a pleased smile to your face, seeing them happy is all that mattered to you ever since what happened.

seeing them look around the parking lot for you, you rolled down the window of your car.

“hey guys! i’m over here!” you outstretched your hand out the window waving them over.

watching them say their goodbyes, you don’t notice how eddie looks at you.

he’s immediately entranced.

he recognizes you now. you both shared a few classes and has seen you in the cafeteria, you always said hello to mike and dustin on your way to your table with your friends.

he never thought much about it.

his small moment was interrupted by dustin.

“eddie! hellooo? earth to eddie!” dustin dramatically waves his hands infront of him, blocking his view from you.

“yeah, yeah what is it henderson?” eddie puts his hands on his waist.

“oh just y’know me and mike are about to leave, oh and you were just there staring like a creep.”

“i have no idea what you’re talking about. now, move along! don’t keep a lady waiting, henderson!”he shoo’s away dustin and mike as he glances back at you, only to find you already looking at their interaction, actually smiling.

and eddie thinks he might just faint from seeing you smile at him. you wave at him shyly as he returns it.

eddie doesn’t understand why such a small interaction caused his thoughts to be all about you.

he started to notice you a lot since then. in your shared classes, in the hallways, at lunch, and every time you come to pick up the kids from meetings.

and now it was lunch time.

as he sat himself down at his usual table, the rest of his friends were already in conversation.

he saw you were on you were about to pass by their table, waving to mike and dustin.

what he didn’t expect was for you to wave at him as well this time, with yet another one of your smiles.

he was so caught off guard, but he waved back anyways.

none of the other guys seemed to care or notice about it, but in the inside he felt on fire.

what the hell is going on with him!

on the other hand, as you sat with your own friends at your table, you felt so embarrassed.

you did it totally without thinking. you’ve never even talked to him!

robin, who was beside you, nudged you with her elbow.

of course she noticed.

“okay, what was that?” she turned to you with a grin of her own.

“i have no idea! i don’t know, i just did it without thinking. but.. i mean it’s no big deal right? i’ve seen him plenty of times.” you shrug as you start eating your lunch food.

“are you kidding? he’s totally into you y/n.” narrowing her eyes at you.

“robin! i literally just waved?” you laughed.

“oh please! he literally looks at you all the time! please tell me you’ve at least noticed that before.”

you turned to look at her, furrowing your eyebrows. has he been?

you watch as she dramatically groans and rubs her hands on her face.

“maybe if he’s so interested, as you say, he would’ve definitely talked to me by now. he’s eddie munson. he’s always so.. y’know.. him.”

“what does that even mean.” she’s now resting her head on one of her hands that’s leaning on the lunch table.

“he’s outspoken? i don’t know. i just feel like he would’ve said something by now.” as you finish your food you push the tray slightly away and turn to face your friend now, who’s face now wears another smile.

“maybe, you make him nervous.”

you playfully scoff. “oh please, i don’t think something like that would make him nervous.”

she shrugs, still smiling.

“i think, that you should turn around right now. he’s looking at you, again.”

she nods her head slightly as she notices your hesitation.

you sigh, slowly turning your head, only to find that she was right.

though he immediately turns his gaze away and back into the very animated conversation with his friends. you turn back around to robin, as she gives you a satisfied smile.

okay.. yeah. so maybe robin could be right.

as the school day ended, everyone went out the building to get home.

you were walking out the doors as you saw eddie standing outside talking with the hellfire group.

you were contemplating on walking up to say hi.

realizing that you were just awkwardly standing and looking, you decide to walk up to them.

what the hell are you doing.

you could just walk by and say hi as you usually do, but you realize you just want an excuse to talk to eddie.

that’s why you were nervous.

taking a small deep breath, as you reach nearer, most of the people he was talking to began to leave, saying their goodbyes. even dustin and mike were leaving.

oh no.

you could just turn the other way, easily.

you decide not to. it won’t be awkward right? what’s the worst that could happen.

he was about to walk away when you finally reached him.

“hey eddie!” you hoped that you didn’t sound so awkward.

he turned around at the sound of your voice. slight surprise in his face, he was biting his bottom lip and his eyebrows were slightly raised.

“oh y/n, hey!” his usual demeanor was back. his arms went up and a bright smile on his face.

god he felt as though he was on fire as you walked up to him.

his heart rate sped up, you were actually talking to him.

your face flushed as you came to a stop in front of him. suddenly realizing how tall he actually was.

“what’s up?” oh god. what’s up? seriously? that’s all you could come up with?

“oh y’know i was just about to go home. and you? what’re you up to y/l/n?” he crossed his arms over his chest.

now you felt as though you were going to faint. he kept staring at you, waiting for your response as you both walked to the parking lot.

“yeah, yeah! me too.” you cleared your throat as you suddenly had an idea. “you know, we should hang out sometime.”

“really? i mean, yeah! we totally should! what did you have in mind?”

he seemed to notice your struggle and smiled, “we could just watch a movie? or something.”

you smiled back up at him. “yeah! i’d really like that.”

“at my place? if that’s alright with you.”

you didn’t even notice that you’ve both stopped at your car now.

“yeah, that’s cool with me.”

he nodded his head with a smile still on him, his long hair swaying with the action.

you opened the door to your car and grabbed a random piece of paper and a pen.

he watched as you scribbled something down. a curious look on his face.

you outstretched your hand with the paper to him.

it was your phone number.

-layra is like. Deeply Traumatized and just seeing the councilwomen sends them into a PANIC I need to run into traffic to protect them (the subs call them a boy but?? quick google says girl so for NOW I'm being neutral w pronouns until further confirmation from the show ig) they were up there with reiji earlier too! tf are u making a traumatized child duel for dude! losing favor points with me very quickly reiji. putting ppl into cards is nbd but traumatizing kids? no. gotta draw the line somewhere man

-ayu's deck is aquarium themed!!! my god thats SO cute all the kids have rly cute themes. but she forgot she cant attack on turn one…girlie thats the basics…(everyone was cheering her on for the mistakes and encouraging her which is sweet tho)

-then its extra sad when ayu loses and still has ppl comforting her and being sweet and layra having NO ONE ???? EXCEPT REIJI WHO JUST OFFERS (1) HEADPAT. also 'niisama' yeah I expected as much, ygo rival Standard. give ur sib a HUG or something. (maybe theyre touch adverse, I dont know. they do seem. -lmaooo sora and yuzus friendship Continues to grow on me. his pic of her in his contacts is her smacking yuya with her fan! and she calls him to be like 'YOU BETTER COME ROOT FOR ME OR ELSE' i love how she combats his very wishy washy noncommittal attitude…he says its bc hes her teacher but cmon u guys are friends, prob more than anyone shes soras friend fr by now right?

-YESSS YUZU MASUMI DUEL theyre both doing great I LOVE their dynamic in my mind THIS is what a ygo protag and rival should feel like (sorry to reiji, but he just doesnt feel rival-y enough yet to me!! cannot even explain it) the gay instinct to have a rival. the whole 'im better than you' attitude, the fiery competitiveness…wanting to prove them wrong, the thinking abt them so much u can predict their moves..its SO spicy. then the giving of the red rose card after getting saved by yuzu…masumi? are u perhaps. fellow gay?

-despite all of my efforts sora is growing on me. hes SUCH a brat and is honest about it (and doesnt rly do the whole fake cutesty thing as much as Id expected he would) I think hes actually been as honest as he can, maybe? like I assume theres a good reason he hasnt told the others hes..involved in some kind of?? inter-dimensional battle?? situation??? Im not entirely sure I think hes gonna be a full out traitor or anything, but the others will prob be upset when they find out he's been withholding info…but I 100% think hes some kind of child soldier who BELIEVES his side is right, just like im sure shun feels real justified sealing ppl into cards! (and unlike shun we havent SEEN sora DO anything bad yet. I just kinda think he HAS based on his deck being so creepycute and him not being straightforward, but again, him continuously asking if he was even allowed to be teachign yuzu stuff makes me think hes taking orders from..someone...) him so mad shun didnt stick around to see yuzu's duel was so funny. I dont WANT him and yuzu's silly lil friendship to end! im attached now! even tho I KNOWWW hes sus! :(

-in the crowd you can see ppl wearing cute duel monster accessories, like one girl had a dark magician girl headband/visor thing! very cute, wish we saw more things like that. in pokemon anime they do that a lot and its always such a delight…I want more duel monster cosplay moments! or references in charas outfits!

-ok yuya being the damsel during gongenzakas duel while yuzu is the one yelling, telling gon not to worry is……furthering my idea that yuzu is main chara and yuya is in the position of side character of different gender than main character (who is often a damsel or person to worry over the most). hes the anzu/kotori of the show. to me. JKJSDH (also, gongenzaka, is perfectly nice and fine but its so hard for me to care deeply about him aaaahg even with the episodes centered around him…hes so straightforward and steady, tho. good for him.)

-….the guy who gongenzaka's dueling should be disqualified. he had his goons try and jump yuya! god why isnt he automatically disqualified! doesnt the broadcast pick up audio?? he like, admits to it!

-....is shingo supposed to be yuya's rival actually, instead of reiji? ...he doesnt feel like a rival either though!!! or if he is it feels one-sided!!! yuzu was more ready to fight him than yuya was!!! jkahjkf anyway that duel is up next episode which I wont start tonight...but I'm excited to see more shingo. bc I think despite his best attempts at being a threat hes super silly actually...

here's a lil story i'm writing. i have no idea where it's heading but i want to share it.

Stranger

“Do you have a minute?” asks the stranger that has taken a seat next to me. I just wanted to read a book in the park and NOT talk to people. It’s the reason I’m out here, to not talk to people. Well, that, and the fact that my therapist keeps yelling at me to go outside.

“Y-yes?” I said back to him, shutting my book. There it goes, that darn stutter.

“I’ve had a heck of a day. I got laid off from the only thing keeping me from living in my parents' basement, my phone shattered after this stupid kid knocked into me on his bike, I lost this really important family heirloom after my house was robbed by my step-mom, and, I have no friends to vent to, which why I’m talking to you, a stranger. No offense.”

I smiled. “None t-taken. That sounds li-like a pretty crappy d-day to m-me.” 

He looked confused. “You…”

“I-i-i-it’s my s-stutter.” 

“Oh. I’m Cody by the way.” He said, delivering a warm smile along with a hand to shake.

I shook his hand. “I’m Wil-Wilson. N-nice to me-meet you.”

Here is usually where the people who thought I could be a potential friend go away, but Cody was different. He stayed, asking me what book I was reading, talked about how the economy was failing, new shows on Netflix. Ya know, the usual. 

Eventually, he decided that I was good friend material, and we exchanged numbers.

I walked home after Cody left, considering my social interaction bar had been used up for the day talking to him. Cody, the only person who judged me by how I acted instead of my stutter. He was nice, his appearance wasn’t anything out of the usual indicating he wasn’t a serial killer, which was always a perk. He also didn’t show any signs of isolation which is why I was surprised when he told me he didn't have any friends, but everybody copes in their own way, I guess. His tone of voice suggested that he goes to therapy, he sounded very on edge, possibly paranoia, but he did say he had a bad day.

I shook my head in an attempt to clear my thoughts. My CSI training tended to kick in from time to time. I had gotten “let go” from my CSI position at NJPD because of head trauma, also known as, “We don’t want a kid with a broken dream and a stutter solving murders.” 

I opened the door to my apartment and stepped inside. Just as I had expected, nothing had happened. My living room was a mess, decorative throw pillows all pilled and smushed. The coffee table had empty coffee mugs littered around its surface leaving white rings on the table. I guess I should clean them up. 

After cleaning up the coffee mugs and the white heat rings, I grabbed a cup of water, sat down in front of the TV, and flipped to the news.

As usual, the news delivered nothing but depressing news about how the president’s attempt to do something-or-other was succeeding. Or failing. I never paid attention to the news. 

I turned the TV off and decided to go do something productive with my time and then did nothing because who has time for productivity and stared at the ceiling.

Eventually, my body started telling me I needed to sleep and listening to it, I changed into my sleepwear and went to bed.

I woke up to birds chirping and the sun shining through my bedroom window, which would lead you to think I would have a wonderful day, meet someone new, maybe go shopping for supplies to make a delicious meal, but no. My plan for the day was to update my laptop, watch some TV, then maybe mow the lawn. 

While I was staring at the black screen of my updating laptop, my phone vibrated signaling a text message had come through. Getting text messages was not a usual occurrence for me. I only ever got messages from my data plan telling me I ran out of data. I looked down at my phone and to my surprise, it was Cody asking if I wanted to hang out today. After proofreading my response and then proofreading it again, I sent it to him. 

Waiting for his response, I sat on my bed chewing my nails. 

What if he isn’t really your friend, he’s just pretending to be? 

      What if it’s all a joke and he hates you?

No, stop that. 

Why would anybody want to be friends with you? 

You can’t even speak right. 

Stop. 

Nobody even likes you.

That’s it. 

I got up and got changed, avoiding looking in any mirrors. My outfit wasn’t anything extraordinary, a pair of jeans with an old band t-shirt and leather jacket matched with Converse. Without waiting for a meeting place from Cody, I headed out the door, slinging my beige satchel over my shoulder. In my satchel was my phone, my wallet, a pocket knife and a lighter.  

I arrived at the park searching for Cody: vitiligo, blonde hair, freckles, blue eyes, glasses, a pretty good sense of style. Judging by what he wore yesterday which was a pair of work pants,  a long-sleeved light pink dress shirt, and a navy blue tie, he would wear something casual like jeans and a sweatshirt. What he wore yesterday was obviously his work clothes but as he said, he had gotten laid off from his job so he wouldn’t be wearing work clothes. 

I had actually done research on jobs for him based on the personality gathered from him. I know, I know. I’m weird because somehow I know his entire personality after just meeting him for the first time. Yeah well, I don’t care. The job turnouts were nice, things along the lines of psychiatrists, therapists. Ya know, socially demanding jobs. Something I could never do. 

 Eventually, I found Cody at a coffee shop talking to the lady at the counter about how she should go see a therapist to cope with the loss of her husband. What a gentleman. 

He turned around to find a seat in the crowded coffee shop and noticed me standing in the middle of the shop, staring at him like a loser.

“Wilson, you found me!” He said, walking up to me as if he had known me longer than a quick chat on a bench. 

“I did,” I said, nervous that other people would see. “Now le-let’s go,” I said, grabbing his arm and dragging him to the door.

“Don’t you want anything?” He said, struggling not to spill his coffee. 

“No, I’ll p-pick up a Mo-Monster on the w-way to the ma-mall,” I said. 

Realizing I was basically holding Cody’s hand, I let go and turned to face him. 

“S-sorry,” I said, turning a slight shade of pink.

Cody situated himself. “About what?” 

“Nevermi-mind,” I shook my head as if doing that would remove the awkwardness from the situation. 

Cody kind of smiled. “Okay. So, we’re we headed?” 

“I was th-thinking the mall, m-maybe hit up H-Hot Topic,” I said as I started to walk down the trail. 

The trail at the park was an absolute must if you’re a tourist. In the fall, the trail became covered in amber-gold leaves. Animals of all sorts rustled the leaves, burrowing to make their homes. Grumpy park keepers raking leaves into piles only to have children jump in them and ruin them. God, I love it. 

“Sure. Doesn’t the mall have a food court? We could stop there and get something to eat.”

I turned to look at him. “Th-that would be g-great.” 

We walked in silence to the mall. I could never quite figure out Cody’s shopping preference. He looked like he shopped at Kohls or Sears. Some relatively nice places. Maybe Boscovs. I, on the other hand, shop at places like Hot Topic and Journeys. 

We arrived at the mall and made a direct line to a Hot Topic. I could tell Cody had never entered a Hot Topic in his life, considering the fact he scrunched up when he saw the cashier. 

I walked up beside him and nudged him. “This your fi-first time?” 

He took a sip of his coffee. “In a Hot Topic, yes.”

I turned back to the t-shirts. “I can te-tell.”

We browsed the store, Cody striking some conversation with other shop goers. How is he so social? He even got the kids in Hot Topic to talk to him. 

“Wilson, c’mere!” Cody yelled from the other side of the store. The entire store, which consisted of like, 3 people, turned to look at me. 

I chuckled awkwardly. “Uh, h-h-hi.” I gave a tiny socially awkward wave which was responded with an understanding nod from some kid in a Panic! At the Disco shirt. 

I scurried over to the other side of the store. “Wha-what do you wa-want!” I hissed at him. 

Cody gestured over to the shirt he had in his right hand. “Don’t you like this band? I saw them on your lockscreen.” 

He was holding a Twenty One Pilots shirt that had the words: “I belive in Josh Dun” etched around the alien-like symbol that represented Josh Dun. The shirt wasn’t really my style, but Cody looked so proud of himself for finding a shirt that I could possibly like, that I couldn’t turn it down. I grabbed the sirt from his hands and slung it over my shoulder. I looked for other t-shirts, failed, and ended up in the pin section. A sign underneath the bucket read, “Buy 2 get 1 free”. I was always a sucker for deals. 

“Watcha doing?” A voice was accompanied by a brush on my shoulder. I suspected that it was Cody’s arm, because his hand brushed against mine. As if that same hand had taken a paintbrush, my face was painted a light red. Well, more of a light pink. For some reason, Cody’s touch made my chest feel all weird, my stomach flutter, and my face heat up. Of course I knew what this feeling was, I’m not stupid. 

“Uh, I’m l-looking for pi-pins. They’re b-buy two get one fr-free.” I said. 

Cody was immediately intrigued. He rummaged through the pins, discarding ones he didn’t like. I already held two pins in my hand, a Fall Out Boy one and a subtle LGBTQ+ Pride pin. 

Now, Cody wasn’t the type of person I would have thought to have also picked out an LGBTQ+ Pride pin as well, but here we are, Cody with an extremely flamboyant Pride pin in the palm of his hand. 

My face tuned a medium shade of red. Holy crap, Cody’s gay. I mean, it didn’t bother me, obviously, but you never would have guessed it. 

Somehow, I completed the transaction between the cashier and I, and me and Cody made a beeline for the Five Guys. Five Guys was a restaurant I had come to many times when I was a kid. I ordered what I usually got, a Veggie Sandwich. Cody ordered a Cheeseburger with Small Fries. An order I can respect. We searched for a place to sit before choosing a seat underneath the trees they put in the mall. It never occured to me why they put trees in the mall until now. 

Seeing Cody smile at me from underneath the trees, a stray ray of sunlight shone through his glasses and making its way to his blue eyes, his smile making me feel warm inside. God, what I would do to take a picture of him right now. 

“H-hey, can I t-take a p-p-picture of y-you, Cody?” I said, pulling my phone out of my pocket. 

“Sure. Where do you want me to look?” He said. I was honestly surprised by his reaction. He didn’t think I was weird or refuse. 

I adjusted my phone camera to the light settings. “J-just look directly a-at the c-cam-camera and smi-smile.” 

He did as I said, smiling directly at the camera. The shot was super cliche, but he looked great. 

I took the picture, ignoring weird looks from other customers, and sent it to Cody. The picture came out nice. 

“Put a black and white filter on it.” Cody’s voice sounded from my shoulder. His chin rested right where my shoulder met my neck.

I put the black and white filter on it. The ray of sunlight that passed diagnally on his face was turned to a light gray. 

“But it l-look-looks better with col-colour.” I said, changing it back.

Cody stared at it for a few moments, his face looked rather studious, as if he wanted to remember every aspect of the photo. 

“Yeah, your right. Keep it coloured.” 

I smiled. “I’m al-always ri-right.”

Something about how quickly our friendship had formed made an impact on me. We met on a bench yesterday and now I’m sending him a picture I took of him in a mall plainly because I wanted to. Something wasn’t right; friendships don’t move this quickly. People weren’t just nice. As depressing as it sounds, it’s true. People aren’t nice with no reason. We’d love them to be, but they just aren’t. 

Cody threw away the remains of his lunch and sat back down in front of me. 

“So, want do you want to do now?” He said.

I shrugged. “I do-don’t know. May-maybe we c-could go to-”

Cody gasped. “What about a play! There’s a theatre down the street, and the admission’s free!”

I smiled. I friggin’ love plays. Especially musicals. Something about how people can change their person to a completely different personality always made me happy. 

“I lo-love the sound of th-that.” I said, standing up and throwing the remains of my veggie sandwich in the garbage can. 

We left the mall in a hurry, rushing to hail a cab to the nearest theatre. We both sat in the back of the cab as the driver drove us to our location.

“So, do y-you know wha-what play it i-i-is?” I asked.

Cody shook his head no. “Honestly, I don’t really care what play it is. I just love the acting behind it.” He said.

“Me t-too. I just lo-love how the pe-pe-people on st-stage can tra-transform into wha-whatever chara-character they ne-need to-” I was cut off by the cab driver.

“Ay kid, could ya knock it off with that stutter? It’s really annoyin’ and it’s gettin’ on my nerves.” He said. He had a heavy jersey accent, a contrast to our current location of New York. 

“Yes s-sir.” I said, folding my hands in my lap and drawing my eyes to my feet.

Cody kept looking between me and the cab driver. “What? No.” He said, knocking on the glass that divided the passengers and the driver. 

“Sir, can you pull over?” He said. His tone sounded like a mother who was about to scold her child. 

The cab driver groaned and pulled over. 

“What?” He said, twisting his body so he could see through the little window.

“My friend can’t help his stutter, okay? And for you to ask him to ‘knock it off’ was extremely impolite.” Cody said. 

‘Friend’. I held back my smile.

The cab driver snorted. “I don’t care if he can help it or not, it’s annoying and it distracts me from driving.”

Cody laughed in disbelief. “Oh, I see. Well, in that case, can you stop talking in that obnoxious jersey accent of yours? It distracts me from enjoying the view. And, maybe stop smelling like rotten fries because it makes it hard to focus. And I would heavily enjoy it if you threw out that black ice smelly tree, because all it does is combine with the scent of feces back here and makes it smell worse.” He smiled sweetly. “Thanks so much, mmm-bye.”

He opened the cab door and walked over to the sidewalk to open mine. I got out, throwing a dirty look at the cab driver. We left without paying. 

“Hey, th-thanks for standing u-u-up for me b-back there. It rea-really meant a lo-lot.” I said.

Cody smiled. “No problem! It just pisses me off when people are mean to others.” 

We walked to the theatre. Cody was right, the admission was free and it was one of my favourite plays. Romeo and Juliet. 

Cody and I walked up to the admission box, standing rather close to each other.

“One ticket for me and one for my friend.” He said.

There it was. That word Friend. Now that I think of if, I haven’t really had a friend before. Yeah, I know. You’re probably thinking ‘Wilson, I bet you had at least one friend.’ Nope. None of the kids in elementary school talked to me enough for me to develop a friendship with them, and middle school was, well, middle school, and after my accident in high school, no one spoke to me straight up. I’m honestly surprised I have the social skills I have. 

We walked down the aisle and found our seats. We were seated in the 3rd row of the middle section. So right near the front. 

“Have you ever seen Romeo and Juliet?” Cody asked.

I raised my eyebrows. “Have I ev-ever seen R-Romeo and Juli-Juliet?”

Cody smiled. “I take it you have. Well good, because I’ve never seen it.”

“Really?” I said. How?????

Cody shook his head. “Nope. Never seen it.”

I sighed. “Do you at le-least know th-the p-plot?”

“More or less. I know theres a thing with a balcony?”

“Yes.”

“And they,” He looked side to side, checking for people. “Both die?”

I smiled and nodded. “Y-Yes! So you kno-know the basic-ics. G-Good.”

We turned our attention to the stage as the lights dimmed.

Secrets Revealed

Story Summary:

Chat Noir’s goal has always been to find out Ladybug’s true identity. Can one hint about Ladybug lead to the truth? Secrets will be revealed about the past as mysteries unfold. How will Marinette and Adrien react to everything?

Chapter 9: The Truth

Alya dashed up the stairs to Marinette's room and ran over to her friend who was sitting on the chaise.

"I have so much to tell you, but I still don't see why I had to come over here."

"I told you. It's easier to feel your excitement in person."

"Okay." Alya said giving Marinette a confused look. "Well . . . you made me come over here, so you better listen to my whole story before you freak out."

"What? When do I freak out in the middle of your stories? I'm perfectly relaxed."

"Yeah . . . your are so calm and collected." Alya chuckled. "So, what I asked you over the phone. Have you ever heard of it? The name kwami."

"I u-uh . . . n-no. I haven't heard of it." Marinette tried not to get nervous. She knew that Alya would notice.

"Well, a kwami is a sprite-like creature that helps someone with a miraculous, transform. They're amazing little creatures that are basically immortal."

"How do you know all of t-this?" Marinette said, starting to sweat.

"Well . . . I know all of this . . . because . . . I have a kwami!" Alya squealed. "I also have a miraculous too. Isn't this amazing?! I get to help save Paris."

"Wait. You have a miraculous?! But . . . how?!"

"I don't really know how. I just found a small box in my room with a necklace inside. When I opened the box, a kwami appeared and told me that I'm now a superheroine named Volpina."

"T-This is insane. Are you sure about being Volpina? That could have all been a dream." Marinette babbled.

"I'll prove it." Alya announced, unzipping her bag. A fox kwami floated up from the bag as she pulled out a necklace. "This is my kwami, Trixx. And this is my miraculous." Alya clipped the necklace around her neck and smiled.

Marinette's eyes should have fallen out of her head by now. She was astonished by what Alya had just showed her. Marinette slipped her phone out of her purse and started to text Adrien while Alya talked.

Marinette: We kind of have a problem. May or may not be good.

Adrien: What kind of problem.

Marinette: Alya has a kwami and a miraculous!

Adrien: Really?! She has a miraculous?

Marinette: She's Volpina! The real one at least. She came over to my house and told me everything, but I don't think she knows about us.

Adrien: We'll have to tell her the truth about us now. If she's going to be helping us protect Paris, then we shouldn't be keeping secrets from her. I'm coming over right now.

"What are you doing!" Alya shouted.

"U-Uh . . . texting Adrien."

"Adrien?" Alya glared. "And why are you texting Adrien?"

"Me and him are . . . dating . . . now." Marinette squeaked as she sank down into the chaise and hid behind her knees.

"Dating?! Marinette! Finally! It took you guys forever to get together." Alya screamed, hugging Marinette. "You should have told me sooner though. But at least now you guys can double date with me and Nino."

"U-Uh yeah. Why not?"

Marinette hadn't read Adrien's last text yet because she was questioned by Alya.

'I'm coming over right now. What?! No! He can't come over. Alya can't know yet.'

Marinette: No! Don't come over! Not yet! Not now! No!

Just as Marinette sent the text, Chat Noir fell through her trap door that led to her balcony.

"Aahh!" Marinette shouted in surprise.

"No way. Chat Noir?!" Alya said, in awe.

"Now Alya, I know everything must be confusing, but we had to lie to you before." Chat started as he walked over to Marinette and pulled her up from the chaise. "Me and Marinette know that the truth is surprising, but . . . " Marinette motioned for Chat Noir to stop, but he didn't notice and kept talking. "I hope that you can forgive us for not telling you that me and Marinette are Ladybug and Chat Noir."

Marinette hit her hand against her forehead in anger as Chat Noir released his transformation, revealing to Alya that he was actually Adrien.

The three kwamis joined together in the corner of the room as they watched and laughed at their chosen ones. Tikki and Plagg hadn't met Trixx before, but they were excited to. They hadn't met very many kwamis in their lifetime.

"I can't believe it! You two were Ladybug and Chat Noir the whole time?"

"Yeah." Chat said, confused. "I thought that Marinette would have told you the truth already by the time I got here."

Marinette looked towards Alya with an apologetic look. She was trying to think of ways to apologize.

"Look, I know that I didn't tell you before Alya, bu-"

"I understand, Marinette." Alya interrupted. "I can see why you didn't tell me. I mean, I do run the Ladyblog, which I'll be shutting down soon to protect your secret. I only told you about my new miraculous because I knew that I could trust you, but you probably thought that if you told me, then I would put it on the news or something."

"I'm just glad that we don't have to keep it a secret anymore." Adrien sighed. "But . . . can I tell Nino? I'd feel bad if we all kept secrets from him."

"I was going to tell him anyway." Alya started. "I was just going to tell you guys and Nino. I don't want to keep secrets from my friends since it causes trouble. I don't know how you two have lasted this long."

"You gave me a heart attack like fifty times with your Ladyblog." Marinette laughed. "Every time you mentioned something about Ladybug's identity, I thought you had found out that it was me."

"Now that I think about it, I was really stupid for not seeing it before. You guys are a little obvious." Alya laughed. "The only characteristic that's not obvious to figure out is your personalities. It's like you have two minds in each of your heads. That's probably why I didn't predict it to be you before."

"Yeah." Adrien smiled. "I get to say what I want whenever I want, so I definitely have a different personality as Chat Noir. I have freedom to be myself without judgment."

"That sounds amazing." Alya agreed. "But . . . you two liked each other this whole time . . . and aren't dating until now? Why?"

"Last one?" Alya said, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep. Me and her went on a date up on top of the Eiffel Tower with ice cream."

"Technically . . . " Marinette started. "You forced me to go on a date with you, but I did leave you to go see . . . you."

"I told Chat Noir that I liked Adrien and I wanted to go see him, so Chat said I could leave the date to find him at the dance. I left but . . . I told him I'd go on another date with him."

"Oh. I guess that makes sense. How about we go on a double date tomorrow? We could see that new movie that Jagged Stone is starring in." Alya smiled.

"Uh . . . " Marinette looked at Adrien for an answer, but Adrien just smiled. "Fine. We'll go on a double date, but do you think that Nino will be okay with it."

"Of course he will be. He's my boyfriend. I'll text him right now." Alya said, looking at her phone. "Alright well . . . I have to get back home, so I'll see you guys tomorrow Ladybug and Chat Noir." Alya laughed as her kwami flew back into her bag.

Marinette and Adrien waved to Alya as she left through the trap door on Marinette's floor.

"I finally get to go on a real date with you." Adrien said, pulling Marinette closer. "We get to go on a date as ourselves and I didn't even have to force you to agree."

"Lucky me." Marinette chuckled. "Although, I'm pretty sure that Alya is forcing Nino."

"Yeah. Nino doesn't stand a chance." Adrien laughed. "I should probably get going now before my dad or his assistant realize that I've been "in the shower" for a really long time."

Adrien stepped back from Marinette. "Claws out!" Chat Noir smiled at her before climbing through her trap door and left.

Marinette slumped down on her chaise and buried her face in her pillow.

"My mind has melted, Tikki. After blowing up from earlier, it's now completely destroyed. And adding to the list we have . . . Alya knows mine and Adrien's secret, Alya's Volpina, and I'm going on a double date tomorrow."

Tikki flew over to Marinette and sat in her hands.

Marinette's day at school was boring as usual. Although, this time Chloe didn't bother her for once. Now she just had to go on that double date with Alya and Nino.

Marinette sat in a chair up on her balcony, looking at the spell book. She was waiting for Adrien or Chat Noir to come and get her.

Marinette looked up from the book to see Chat Noir drop in front of her.

"Wh-What d-did you d-do to me? I-I am fr-freezing!"

"I know." Marinette smiled. "You did tell me to cast a spell on you, so I did."

Chat glared at Marinette. "U-Undo it!"

She set the spell book on her bed and transformed into Ladybug. She stepped through her trap door again and leaped off the edge of the building. Chat Noir followed her and they swung through the city to the movie theater. They both hid behind a bush and detransformed into their normal selves.

"Shall we?" Adrien said holding out his hand.

"Let's go." Marinette smiled, taking Adrien's hand.

They both saw Alya and Nino waiting for them outside the door and waved.

"Hey Guys." Adrien said, waving.

They all walked away from the door so no one could here them.

"I can't believe that you guys are superheroes." Nino said in amazement. "I would have never guessed. Adrien was texting me last night when he told me."

"Are you mad?" Marinette asked.

"No. It all makes sense now. That's why you two would always leave class instantly when something went wrong. I just thought that Marinette was following Adrien out because she has a crush on him."

"Did everyone know Marinette had a crush on me, but me?" Adrien questioned.

"Pretty much." Alya and Nino spoke at the same time, laughing.

"Well then I'm glad Marinette told me because I would have never guessed."

"I'm gonna try to keep secrets better next time." Marinette said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah, yeah. We're all clueless idiots. Now let's go see the movie." Alya said, pushing everyone through the door.

They all found the right room and sat in the first row. The movie was just starting as they sat down. At the start of the movie, Jagged Stone appeared on the screen, playing his guitar.

Adrien reached over and took Marinette's hand. She smiled back at him before they both stared at the huge TV screen.

Alya and Marinette called to their kwamis from the other bathroom and transformed.

They met up with Chat Noir as they exited the building. They listened for danger. All of the screams had stopped, as if the people couldn't speak. Paris had been silenced.

The villain floated over to the theater. She was an older lady with a black and white outfit and white hair. Her hair stood in a bun and she carried a big dictionary in her arms.

"Silencer, there's Ladybug and Chat Noir. Take their miraculouses now!" Hawk Moth shouted.

"You two! If you want to keep your voices, hand over your miraculouses!" Silencer screamed. "If you don't I'll take them and you can join the rest of Paris. They talk and talk forever and never stop, but now they will."

"Hey Silencpurr! Have you ever heard of headphones? They can be useful."

"Shut it, Chat Noir! Give me your miraculouses now! You and Ladybug and yo-! Wait! Who are you?"

"I'm Volpina." Alya smiled.

"Hawk Moth didn't say anything about you." She thought, aloud. "Oh well. I'll have to take all of your miraculouses."

"Chat Noir, Volpina!" Ladybug whispered to her partners. "She looks like that librarian at the city's library. And I think the akuma is in her book. She uses the book to capture everyone's voices and she never lets it go."

"Okay. Now let's see what I can do." Volpina said, running towards Silencer.

Volpina pulled out her flute and lunged at her. Silencer quickly opened her book and stole Volpina's voice in a matter of seconds. Volpina borrowed a piece of paper and a pencil from a bystander and wrote a message:

                                      "Sorry. I'll follow you guys on this one."

Volpina gave them an apologetic smile as Ladybug and Chat Noir looked at each other.

"I guess it's up to us." Chat said, spinning his baton.

"She's too fast. If we try to attack her, she'll steal our voices before we can do anything." Ladybug said, watching Silencer.

"We need to slow her down."

"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug shouted, throwing her yo-yo into the air. "A top hat? What am I gonna do with this?" Ladybug looked from Volpina's flute, to Silencer, and then Chat Noir's hand. "I have an idea." Ladybug smiled. "Volpina, flute and Chat Noir, book." Ladybug whispered.

Volpina gave Ladybug a thumbs up and played her flute. She blasted the music towards Silencer and slowed her down. Volpina's power is to slow down or completely stop villains, but the stronger they are, the harder it is to stop them. Silencer was powerful and could only be slowed down.

Ladybug launched herself above Silencer and pulled the top hat down over her face so she couldn't see.

Chat Noir immediately shouted "Cataclysm!" and touched Silencer's dictionary.

The dictionary broke apart and the akuma flew out as Ladybug grabbed her yo-yo.

"No more evil doing for you little akuma." Ladybug dropped her yo-yo. "Time to deevilize!" She spun her yo-yo around in circles. "Gotcha. Bye-Bye little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Ladybug shouted.

The citizen's voices were restored back into their bodies and that cheered in happiness. They had realized that the duo had become a trio and that they had another hero to help protect Paris.

"Ah . . ." Alya sighed. "It's good to have my voice back."

"Citizens of Paris." Ladybug shouted from the top of a building. "Paris has a new superheroine named Volpina. The three of us will continue to protect you and all of Paris."

The citizens started to cheer again as Ladybug turned to her partners.

"We should get going." Chat said pointing to Ladybug's earrings. "Your earrings are blinking and so is my ring.

"Yeah. And your necklace is blinking, Volpina."

"Oh . . . yeah. Let's get going." Volpina said as she flew off of the building.

Ladybug and Chat Noir jumped off of the building and followed her to the corner of a  nearby building. They all detransformed into their normal selves.

"I'm really sorry that I was stupid at the beginning of the attack." Alya said, apologetically.

"Don't worry about it Alya. I was worse. When I first became Ladybug I had tried to quit and give it to you instead . . . but I transformed again to save you . . . and Chat Noir cheered me up. So . . . luckily I'm still Ladybug. And you can't do worse than I did the first time."

"Wait! You tried to quit?! I almost lost my partner? My favorite person to see everyday!"

"Wait!" Alya cut in. "You tried to give up your miraculous to me?! Why would you even think you shouldn't be ladybug and why me?"

"Well . . . I thought that I was too clumsy to be Ladybug and you were so confident that I . . . was really stupid."

"No kidding. You can pretty unintelligent sometimes. Like giving up a miraculous." Alya laughed.

"Yeah, yeah." Marinette smiled. "I have to go home now. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

Marinette waved bye to Alya and Adrien and walked back to the bakery.

Wrecked my moms car and another car with no insurance?

I got in an accident eariler this week. I went to turn a corner and hit the brakes too hard and hit a Prius coming up to a 3 way stop. Sued for Auto Accident Above Insurance Limit in NJ?

One year ago my wife was taking our daughter to pre-school turning left out the end of our road in to traffic, this road has a speed limit of 35 mph. Traffic had to stop to let her cross the first lane since it was solid cars, vans and small trucks. As she approached half-way, before getting a good view of oncoming traffic, another car took off the front bumper. Note that the center line is interuppted at the cross-junction. The bumper was torn from the front of the car with damage more evident on the non-impact side of the car than where initially hit, hence my wife had not initiated a turn, just edging forward to see. The radiator was in-tact, but damaged, still mounted to the front of the car. I walked to the site with our other child and took my daughter home; she is fine and I took her to school but still talks of the incident today. My wife stayed at the incident, and was fine (no later issues) keeping real calm and cooperating with police. It took about 2 hrs with police debating which town the incident took place (middle of the road is the divide) and the other driver was concerned about getting home to take a pot off the stove, but seemed medically fine. The driver asked me and the police to drive them home to get the pot off the stove and used my wifes cell phone more than once. They also wanted to drive their car home and leave the scene with a flat tire at one point I presume to attend to the pot. No tickets were issued, no air bags deployed. The other car had a flat front left tire and side damage so the drivers door was stuck shut. Both cars were old, so written off. Over a year later we received a court summons from their attorney and we are being sued for $750,000. Our limit is $100,000 on insurance. The plaintiff is claiming herniated discs and loss of bowel control. We have a 2006 no money down mortgage, so total equity is very much in the red since our home value plummeted. I have no umbrella policy. I am sole income, but was owner of the car my wife was driving. My wife is stay-at-home mom. The remaining $650,000 would be a big problem. Interestingly, we heard that the other driver called our insurance and asked for a >100-fold lower amount of money to just go away! Our insurer recalls this very clearly and did not pay. Questions: Should I invest in an attorney to work with our insurers attorney to cover the $650K over our limit? Do we have any case given the car the other driver may have been in a rush (as all were aware of the pot on the stove), would have settled for far less, and in reported safety tests should avoid an obstacle at 55mph let alone at the speed limit of 35 mph? Their case, as I understand, is to actually prove my wife was negligent, she was just trying to see. Reality and the law are complicated I understand. Our insurer is looking in to the validity of their medical claims. I believe for spinal and neck injuries plaintiffs have to follow careful insurance approved treatment plans in NJ. I know that such a condition may not be permanent with curative surgery possible to release the nerves that may be causing the bowel issue. The plaintiff has claimed the injury as permanent, do they need to prove this? Should we ask experts? The plaintiff lives in our town and their house is on my running route every other day. I have not noted anything at all and plan to stay away from all other parties. Should I change my running route? Thanks for any advice. Our 30 day clock is ticking.""

Car Insurance(state farm) hit & run accused of hitting a object?

i was driving on the freeway tunnel(day time) when i noticed the guy driving on my left-side merging into my lane and struck my right fender,so when i get to the end of the tunnel to wait for him the guy simply drives off.I then call my ins and claim a hit & run etc. i gave them the details they say they'll fix it.3 months later i come to find out that they are claiming it's my fault that i hit a object or a guard rail or wall how can i go about this and fight it.the rep that help wasn't any helpful at all she said she re email a letter stated it was my fault and how to fight it. any help will b appreciated !!! i also i asked the lady if i can show pics of a cars that have been into collision with object i even told her it would be pics of my car(not actually my car) but u know what i mean she said they only go off what they see""
