Going to have my consult with a clinic tomorrow to see if they think I can get into this medicinal cannabis study - please send me good vibes, I'm super sick of having these anxiety drops and fighting bad thoughts every goddamn evening when my meds wear off and I'm running out of anxiety treatment options 😞

Wg comic story idea (WIP)
I thought of an idea to break in my newer OCs with a bigger story, and to properly establish Martha as a villain character as a foil for the others. Here's what I have so far.
Martha and Rose are on a "date" (Rose think's they're just hanging out) and Martha keeps berating her on her eating choices. So she keeps taking Rose's food and eating it to make fun of her because she thinks she can get away with it.
After their hangout Martha goes back home and does whatever and goes to sleep. But then she wakes up and gets ready to go to work but her pants are a little tighter and she gets pissed because she prides herself on being really fit and skinny So she swears revenge on Rose and plans to work off the fat but then she has another idea. If everyone else around her is fat, she'll seem skinny by comparison, so she doesn't have to exercise as much. (she's also a little lazy) so cut to their (Blake, Scott, Camilla, Martha) job. They work at a company that specializes in products and such concerning expansion stuff Camilla is working in her lab and Martha approaches her
"Good morning, Camilla. We have a new project for Research and Development. We're trying to combat food waste. Did you know that around 40% of all food is wasted every year?" "Yes" "Well making less food would be less profitable for our business partners, so instead we're going to develop a new product. Food won't be wasted if people eat more" "So you want me to make an appetite stimulant?" "Sort of. Yes. It'll be more of a line of food flavorings. Some for sweet foods, others for salty, etc. But we are going to use these specific ingredients in it"
Martha hands her a clipboard and Camilla reads it over "Martha, most of these are all highly addictive. There's some stuff on here I don't even recognize" "I'm just the messenger, Cami. Don't worry about the legality of it" "I'm not worried about the legality, I'm worried about the-" "Great! Get started immediately. All of your other current projects are on hold until this is complete" "…okay…"
Martha leaves the room with a devious smile on her face as Camilla gets to work on procuring the ingredients and synthesizing a sample Around a day or so later Martha checks back up on her. Camilla has a few samples ready but she hasn't tested them yet. Testers are basically volunteers that get paid a certain amount of money to test new products for the company. they're like gig workers or freelancers but they're freelancing their body to be used i guess. idk. anyways martha is a little more out of breath than usual. She gained a little more weight. like 5-10 pounds overall (which is honestly normal for most people, but not her) Camilla notices this. They both share a moment of staring at each other's bodies. Martha's clothes are a little tighter. A little more stomach. A little more ass. Camilla is currently smaller than she is. She and Scott exercise pretty regularly and cook at home most of the time.
Camilla breaks the silence "are you okay?" "I'm fine. Where are the samples?" "They're all here. I haven't tested them yet though." "Why not?" "You're supposed to do that. Aren't you the executive manager of the whole company?" "oh. Well you should've told me you needed some. I'll be right back."
Martha smiles, and leaves for a minute. She comes back, obviously pretending to be dejected. "We're all out" "all out? What do you mean? we have hundreds." "they're all busy." "busy with what? You said all of the other R&D projects are postponed" "Look, Camilla, we need to get this product out there soon before our competitors catch wind of it and develop their own formulas. It's not my fault we're out of testers. Just find someone from the department to test them. They'll be properly compensated." "But everyone else in R&D is still out from the last testing disaster. I'm the only one left!" "then you know what to do. I want some results by the end of the week. Or there will be no one left in the R&D department"

minerva??
strange idea but what if billy is head pregnant??
. . .
and it's homelander's fault--KIDDING lmao kinda
leik. i can't stop thinking of the 'black mass in his brain' and it's making me think of zeus/jupiter head birthing athena/minerva.
my first thoughts went to what compound v did to cancer in the john and sun-hee diabolical episode (also that was beautifully written bittersweet tragic horror, can never not appreciate that enough<3), and to be fair, v can be a lil unpredictable
also would technically require confirmation that billy had legit brain cancer (i think) prior to taking temp v and this is what temp v did to it/brought it alive as its own entity but it's dying since it was only temp v?? idk i guess that kinda deal. (but i also wouldn't put it past the v to have given him cancer... idk, billy don't strike me as all that healthy habit wise to begin with)
there's something to explore there where this *thing* would actually be responsible for the lasers from billy's eyes instead of him/could be why he felt so... out of control so to speak (if we don't go with the whole he was straight up overloaded with unfamiliar power he was highly sensitive to lol altho hughie seemed pretty damn *in* control by comparison)
butt~
it could also be something more like a physical manifestation of his obsession with homelander (which i also wouldn't put past v as it's able to do some wild fuckin' stuffs) that only grew with more use of temp v but is dying without it now/may convince him to take real v so it can separate from him
what if, ya know? billy's brain rot for homelander/possible cancer + temp v = headcase minerva/athena baby or literal manifestation of billy's obsession as a separate entity
what if it leaves and takes the obsession with it? or even views *homelander* as its 'father'? joins or aims to destroy them both?
i don't wanna say butchlander cause it's technically much more sinister than that here LMAO but i guess it's technically the most realistic/canon oriented option of 'butchalnder' potentially happening on the show. something dark and twisted and super fucked up that does a deep dive and full embrace into the horror themes<3
OOH, can't say i'd mind that<3<3<3
idk, just a thought i guess. but i guess i also feel like billy's hatred/obsession/addiction becoming its own literal monster/entity would be very becoming/symbolic for the show. leik they *could not* get more clear than that.
especially if it goes around consuming people...
hm.
honestly, i might use this in fic cause it's pretty fuckin' awesome in a dark and horrible way<3

Also while I'm thinking about it, a rundown of Val's poison!
Poison, not venom; Val's smoke, saliva, blood, and sexual fluids are all poisonous and must be inhaled, ingested, or absorbed through the skin in order to affect someone. Licking Charlie's arm, for example, was a test to see how his poison would affect her.
The strength of his poison varies depending on the method he uses to exploit it. From weakest to strongest, it goes : absorbing through skin -> inhaling smoke -> ingesting saliva -> ingesting blood -> ingesting ( or otherwise having inside you ) sexual fluids.
Love Potions by Velvette are distilled from his poison. He donates several pints of blood every few months for production, and the poison is diluted into a less intense concoction. It remains highly addictive, however, and none of the effects are lessened in strength, just in duration.
 As for the effects :
Small doses have a similar effect to real world enhancement pills, like Viagra or Pink Pussycat. One's body temperature rises and their blood pumps faster, with a focus on sex organs. This causes a general arousal, but is entirely possible to resist.
Larger doses begin to affect someone mentally. It's a similar sensation to being buzzed, but not drunk, and makes one's inhibitions lower greatly.
From there, victims often experience uncontrollable arousal, such as erections that refuse to go away. Some victims are unable to satisfy their sexual needs through masturbation alone and require intercourse in order to satisfy the urge.
In extreme doses, victims often blackout but remain conscious, often speaking and operating on autopilot. Most people will not seem intoxicated, and may act entirely lucid despite the other effects.
Victims usually develop an addiction and a dependency on Val's poison after a few doses, which is what drives the sales for Love Potions. Withdrawal from his poison is comparable to some of the worst symptoms from detoxing traditional drugs, and most people will just go back to the poison because it doesn't seem to have many negative effects in comparison.
Prolonged use, especially if ingested or taken during intercourse, can lead to minor changes in physique : swelling of genitalia or breast tissue, heightened sensitivity, excessive lubrication, increased sperm count, and increased fertility are known side effects.

IDK what they did to him besides the fact it involved lots of rape and torture. Shocking for a novel written specifically to be offensive.
So our Healer MC, his powers derive essentially from pain sharing in a way. He can heal a missing limb, but he's gonna take on that IMMENSE pain that the person was having. And it was too MUCH for an untrained kid at the time-he BEGGED to not do it again. And Princess A (A for Asshole) said 'okay that's fine.'
and then like. put him in a dungeon. and started him on a regimine of a highly addictive drug to the point where he'll be obedient and mindless enough to heal (and take on that crazy amount of pain.) And then proceeded daily to kick the living dog shit out of him constantly. To build up that pain tolerance.
So they go on Sterotypical Adventure Party Adventure to go do the stab to the demon lord. And there's not a single empathetic heart in the group. The Princess continues to drug and abuse him; the Swordswoman also beats him up and abuses him because she's the 'angry furious lesbian who is in love with her female leader and hates men because of it' trope and the Muscle of the group Rapes him under the guise of loving him and beats him any time he refuses/struggles to get away.
so call it a personal preference; Call it logical thinking. I think it's a lazy LAZY LAZY form of revenge when penned in the written word. Just cut off their dick and watch them bleed out. I read a lot of exploitation horror, I read a lot of Splatterpunk. It makes Redo of a Healer look rather TAME in comparison.
But I also read the Manga BRUTAL. Which is about a homicidal police detective doing what Light Yagami could NEVER do-Clean up the world with his own two hands and be CREATIVE while doing it.
I recommend Brutal over Redo.
Redo had potiental. STRONG potiental. But it got LAZY with the rape angle. and I KNOW he's antihero, but like come on.

the grammys have been gender neutral for awhile now though and it doesn't seem like there's been a huge discrepancy between male and female artists? im also a bit nervous about how more gender neutral awards would impact women, but i don't think it necessarily dooms us to male-dominated awards. maybe i'm just being naive idk.
Between the years of 2013 and 2021, 13.4 percent of artists nominated for Grammy awards were female, and 86.6 percent were male. The share of nominated women in 2021 was far higher than usual at 28.1 percent, which drove up the average and took the share of men nominated for a Grammy below 75 percent for the first time since the source began investigating gender distribution in the industry.
A new study on gender and racial figures in pop music proves the old James Brown refrain is still true: It’s a man’s man’s man’s world.
The study, in part, looked at the gender breakdown of Grammy Award nominees, and found a wide imbalance. A total of 90.7% of nominees between 2013 and 2018 were male, meaning just 9.3% were women.
Stacy L. Smith, Marc Choueiti and Kate Pieper, of the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, tracked the gender and racial breakdown of performers, writers and producers across the top echelons of the pop charts and the Grammy Awards.
Women nominated for Grammy Awards, for instance, were most likely to be recognized for best new artist or song of the year and least likely to be up for producer of the year. In the time period surveyed, not a single woman got a nod in that category.
For a comparison study on female performers at the Grammys, look to two other highly competitive popular music fields that flirted with gendered Grammy Awards: rap and rock.
Women and men competed together in Best Rap Solo Performance from 1991 to 2002 and from 2005 until 2011. Only 11% of the total nominees from those years were women (Missy Elliott and Queen Latifah claimed three a piece). Best Female Rap Solo Performance and its male counterpart lasted for only two years, 2003 and 2004 (Elliott won both years for the ladies), due to the low volume of entries.
…
The category for Best Female Rock Performance ran from 1980 to 2004, and went on hiatus for three nonconsecutive years in between, also because of the small number of entries. From 2005 to 2011, only two (6%) of the total nominees were women — and neither won. Best Rock Song is batting about the same low average as Best Rap Song. There have been more metal/hard rock–nominated acts with female-inflected band names (Alice in Chains, Queens of the Stone Age, Jane's Addiction, Marilyn Manson, etc.) than there have been actual female-led nominees (Evanescence). In its five years of existence, 24% of the Best Rock Performance nominees have been women or female-fronted groups — six out of 25 total. Three of those six have been Alabama Shakes (who took home big Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song wins on Monday), and four of those six were nominees from just the 2016 crop.
and that’s only from a precursory search. unfortunately, the grammys are actually proof that gender neutral categories worsen sex disparities at awards shows.

If you had to choose a sin that represents Secundo and/or Copia best, which would you choose and why?
for secundo it's definitely lust. maybe not for the reasons you might think. of course, secundo is a hedonist by nature. i think he is probably more-so than the others, though terzo is a rival in that. of course his main coping mechanism is sex, & he doesn't consider it an addiction but clinically it may be considered as such. it's his largest vice for a reason. learned behavior, from nihil. though, the mistake here is to just think of lust as sexual desire. it's about longing for things. lusting for power, money, or -- truly anything. the actual definition is more along the lines of: a psychological force producing intense desire for something, or circumstance while already having a significant amount of the desired object. he's very into his art, his alcohol - he's a collector of fine things. he also longs to be taller, to be better looking... for youth, i suppose. though this theme is central in my headcanons for him. whether it was longing for a relationship with his father, for more attention, for his powers to go away --- for him to be able to utilize them, more effectively. longing to know his mother, longing to be loved. a lot of the things he kept inside for the good of his brother, or for lack of ability to communicate or work through the emotions effectively.
copia gets good old envy. pain at the sight of another's good fortune, stirred by "those who have what we ought to have". sounds about right. a little on the nose. there's evidence that some who envy, begin to emulate those they do envy. one may draw comparison between copia's stage persona - his speeches - to terzo. not to mention, even while cardinal he one upped terzo (& the previous papas) 10x over. he kept adding musicians, upgraded the stage, added costume changes & did make an immediate change to the ghoul's outfits/masks. (before the eventual HUGE changes). he wanted to have everything the old papas had, & more. i personally believe copia has always imagined himself being papa, from the moment he found out who his father was. i think he also very much envied his 'brothers' for having their father in their lives (though he never understood what that really meant, or that nihil wasn't really around). he didn't know much outside the ministry, but any child who spoke of a 'mother'. any child like terzo who were treated special by the sisters, & by the other children. & knowing he was different from them was never easy either, so he always wanted to be like the other kids. there's also other little thematics. i personally headcanon that copia wounded his own eye to look like his brothers & his father, so that also slips into the emulation category. in copia's main verse i play with the first type of envy - the benign envy. & in his darker timeline i created, i played with his malicious envy. so i think in his main verse, the envy motivated him to be a better person and to succeed. it's why he was so highly decorated as a cardinal, & why he was ultimately the next in line for what should have been his birthright. he worked for it. (with help from mommy, of course). in his alternate universe, he wanted to bring down the other papas including nihil, even at his own cost. he conspired with his mother & put in heavy groundwork, to get where he is.

HP Astro #4: Draco Malfoy
First: read Astrology Introduction.
Then: look at the confusing pretty chart and read on!
Tumblr media
Draco Malfoy, birthdate: 5 June 1980. Birth time & place: my best guess.
Put very, very simplistically: he's a Gemini.
Sun is identity and ego. Gemini is curious, playful, and adaptable. Eleventh house is the House of Friendship: organizations, community, and teamwork.
Draco was born into a wealthy family of status. Privileged, in some ways. Plenty of money and opportunity made it easy to appease Geminin's varied interests; presuming his interests were acceptable. Spoiled when it suited, restricted as needed. Draco likely wanted for nothing, except freedom.
Geminis are the jacks of all trades. There is an interest and ability to find and learn new skills. Adept at sociability. With a host of allies/acquaintances/friends, he likely had plenty of occasion to hone his communication skills while showing off other skills. With his sun squaring Mercury, he over-identifies with his intellect and charm. Squares are an uneasy relationship; the stress could prompt growth, or it could mean struggle.
There is an inner need and outer pressure to be the best, in many areas. Draco has money. He has skills (academic, athletic; Gemini.) He has connections (status; Ninth House.) But he's not as good as Hermione in class, nor as good as Harry on the pitch. He's friends with Crabbe and Goyle, who make for fine acolytes, better bodyguards, and Draco looks pristine in comparison. There's the veneer of friendship and teamwork, and he can be the leader.
But there's more to the story than that.
Usually I'd move onto the moon, but I think we'll talk about the ascendant first. Draco's ascendant is Cancer. Our rising sign is how we are perceived, and how we react. Cancer is sensitive, gentle, but also withdrawn; a hard outer-shell protecting the soft insides. Paired with what we know of his sun, it's really quite sad...He's loud. In want of attention, in want of connection. He's also quite sensitive, vulnerable, and scared. It would suit him to be louder, more haughty, reaching outward for attention and admiration all while hiding (or trying to hide) how much it matters to him, and how much he truly cares. Noise as distraction, truth as a shield.
The rising sign also gives us our chart ruler. Cancer is ruled by the moon, and the moon rules Draco.
The moon: center of emotion and the subconscious. The moon is comfort and safety. The moon is Mother. Draco's moon is in Pisces: his moon is dreamy, whimsical. and elusive. This has a romantic, enchanting quality to it. Draco has high hopes, he aims for the stars. His inner world is vivid, and deep.
He's sensitive. Idealistic.
Moon and Jupiter are in opposition: subconscious and emotion meet abundance. Draco is intense and obsessive. Over the top. Generous. Pisces spells addiction, Virgo spells service; when he opens up, he gives too much of himself away. Is eager to please. He doesn't know how to strike a balance, to mellow out. He feels too much, and when the lid comes off, it all comes pouring out of him.
Bottle it up. Wear a smile. Pretend your fine, Draco. You're just fine.
Mercury in Cancer: Draco has an interest in, and pride in, family history. (Mercury, learning; Cancer, family.) His interactions are based in emotion and instinct; he can be thoughtful, when at peace, but defensive when put to the test.
Mercury trines the moon...an ease between his emotions and his expression. He is highly perceptive, and has a good memory. Our Draco is quite clever, isn't he? Always with a retort at the ready, a plot in his back pocket. He knows how to get under people's skin, because he sees too clearly. What he fails to account for, often, is how much he gives away of himself. However hard he tries to hide, his heart is forever on his sleeve.
But maybe he can distract from that.
Venus is in Gemini. Fun-loving and sociable. He wants to meet new people, engage in light and interesting conversation. In the Twelfth House, love and pleasure run deep. The Twelfth House is sacrifice and transcendence. He has high ideals that are unlikely to ever be reached. He knows what he wants. Can't he have it?
Ancient astrologers called the Twelfth House "the Place of Bad Spirit." Draco's charming, playful Venus is trapped in a prison. Self-undoing, addiction, betrayal, are all in the realm of Twelve. It is the House of Hidden Things. (Think of the Room of Requirement, aka the Room of Hidden Things.)
Pleasure and addiction are linked here. This speaks to bad habits. Narcissa sends him sweets, remember? Does he over-indulge on sugar? Does he move onto more deadly vices? Potions, maybe, or Dark Magic.
More so, I think this is one link of many that led him to Voldemort. But we'll get there in a moment.
Let's turn to Venus' opposition with Saturn: a blockage in the realm of love and pleasure. Saturn's link to the Father tells of a lack of affection from his father. Lucius has his expectations of Draco; he treats Draco as an heir, not a son. If Lucius proves his love for his family later on, it is unlikely he showed this to Draco in his childhood.
Due to this, Draco does not feel worthy of love. To him, duty and love are interlinked. He must first prove his worth. Draco will find himself paying for love, or earning it, but it is not a gift he'll be given without work. He must make his father proud; then Lucius will love him. He must show his wealth and status to draw people to him, because that's what he has to give. (Brooms gave him a spot on the Quidditch team; blood purist pride his first meeting with Harry; an attempt to name drop to get into Slughorn's good graces.)
This relates to his Chiron in Taurus. Chiron represents inner wounds. Taurus ties this to the material world: wealth, and security. There is a lack of self-worth, likely due to his father's treatment. He doesn't want for material goods; that he has aplenty, and so the wound is feeling his worth is based on these things. Nothing within him his worthy; all he can offer are possessions. In the eleventh house, this relates to community; misunderstandings, and rejection from peers. (Lucius' scoldings, Harry's refusal to shake his hand.)
Now, let's address his three Virgoan planets: Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.
Mars is action. Jupiter is expansion. Saturn is discipline. All driven by meticulous, perfectionistic Virgo. Draco has a good eye for detail. He is crafty. A practical problem-solver. Nothing is left to chance. There is pride in a job well done. Mars gives him a competitive lean when it comes to service; he wants to impress, to be the best. Saturn is the taskmaster, giving him the push to improve and succeed. He has the will, and the drive...
So what happens?
It comes down to a few of the aspects at play. Sun squaring Mars means adversity and conflict. Sun squaring Saturn means obstacles and challenges. The sun being the core of who he is, these difficult aspects hit close and personal. We also see moon in opposition to Jupiter. There is a generosity of spirit that can result in Draco biting off more than he can chew (his task for Voldemort), and being taken advantage of (Voldemort plays on his emotions and his loyalty.)
There is a deep need in Draco to be somebody. Familial pressure. Societal status. A desire to show off (Gemini skills), to lead the pack (11th house), to be part of something big (11th house), to make a change (Virgo), to do great things (Mars), to have connections (11th house.)
He is driven (Saturn) by his ideals (Venus); his ideals (Venus) are tied to a deep place (12 house; trine moon.) An overactive imagination can lead to visions of grandeur, and biting off more than he can chew (Pisces moon + Gemini Venus; moon opposition Jupiter; 12th house.)
His emotions run deep (ruled by Pisces moon). There is loyalty to family (Cancer rising + Mercury), connection to community (11th house + Gemini.) The people and things he cares about are weaponized against him.
Join the Death Eaters, make his father proud. Obey the Dark Lord, keep his family alive. Besides, doesn't the Dark Lord represent his values? Power, and purity. Don't the Death Eaters offer an organization, and community? They are an army (a team), and Draco can help. Can't he serve them? Isn't his task from the Dark Lord his chance to shine? He has many skills under his belt. He has the drive. He can do this, can't he?
Only...the Dark Lord's cause (ideals = Venus) isn't all it's cracked up to be (sacrifice, betrayal = Twelfth House.) Draco (Sun) isn't all he's cracked up to be (square Saturn.) What material security he clung to is wrecked (Taurus Chiron; invasion of the Manor.) He worked hard (Virgo Mars, Jupiter, Saturn), he gave his all (moon opposition Jupiter), and for what? To have all of his pride and passion sucked dry, used and abused (Sun opposition Neptune) by those whose respect he craved (11th house; Venus square Saturn.)
However capable and confident Draco wishes to be seen as, he was not built for war. He is sensitive, and overwhelmed. He is afraid. In his darkest moments, he withdraws. Curls in on himself. His vulnerability is wearing him thin, and he can't let anyone see that (Cancer.) He has to give and do to be worthy (Chiron, Venus), and his need to connect with others and serve others pushes him on. And it is this need for connection (Eleventh House) that has him unload onto Myrtle. She is a ghost, she isn't relying on him, he can't do anything for her, and so it is safe to simply be. He needs that connection to begin to heal, (11th house Chiron) and it's sad that he only finds that, truly, in Myrtle.
Only after the war can Draco begin to heal. With luck, he escapes Azkaban. He can't do this alone.
Postwar reparations are what will help Draco blossom. Remember, the Eleventh House is community and teamwork. The core of him (sun) is reliant on connection to the collective; so, too, is his means of healing (Chiron.) In a healthier, happier place, he won't need to lead the pack. He can offer his variety of skills and interests (Gemini Sun + Venus) to work hard (Virgo Mars + Saturn) towards a common goal (Eleventh House.) This is work he can feel good about, and be proud of. The feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction in helping others and contributing to a better future. Maybe he'll help rebuild Hogwarts. Maybe he sets up a charity foundation. He offers money and supplies, of course; but he realizes he has more to offer than just that. He can turn on his Gemini charm to woo donors. He'll throw many entertaining events (Venus.) He puts his nose to the grindstone behind the scenes to make it all happen (Virgo.)
Along the way, he'll make real connections, with people who value him. He works alongside the "good guys", who can finally see the real Draco. Harry will have causes of his own that Draco will gladly donate to. He and Hermione can bond over scholarly debates. He can play chess with Ron. Academia (Hermione + studies), strategy (Ron + chess), and friendly competition (Harry + Quidditch) keep him entertained and on his toes.
They learn that when Draco cares, he cares a lot (watery, emotional influence.) He's soft and spoiled, but he can be generous, too; with his resources, and with his heart.
His upbringing led him astray. His vulnerability, and tendency towards obsession and addiction, could lead him there again. But Draco isn't bad at heart. And given the opportunity, and the support of the right people, Draco can accomplish what he's always wanted: great things, and a lasting impact.

I am officially a Freida McFadden addict. I don’t know what addictive substance she sprinkles onto the pages of her books, but I am hooked. (I also want to give Freida a huge thank you, because I was stuck in a terrible reading slump before venturing into her books. Furthermore, I was going through, and have been continually going through a very difficult time in my life, and Freida’s books have honestly been a godsend because they have been helping me through it all. So thank you very much Ms. McFadden!)
& now that i’ve read nearly all of her books (the only ones I have not read are Brain Damage and The Gift) I figured I would rank them from my least favorite to my favorite. So here we go:
14. Ward D
Yikes. Okay, so this book wasn’t bad, per say; it was certainly compelling and a page turner, and not her worst book in some ways. It would have been a lot higher on this list if it weren’t for the mental health representation. it was not a good representation. AT ALL. It was downright offensive to be honest. There are a lot of things I can overlook in the name of fiction, but not when it comes to mental health matters usually. BUT. Even with that being said…I was still completely engrossed in this book and have no regrets about reading it
13. One by One
Although it’s a close tie with The Ex, I would have to say that this is my least favorite of Freida’s books. I was very close to DNF-ing it, but I managed to finish it. In comparison to her other books, it was pretty boring and repetitive. The storyline made zero sense, too many plot holes to count, and very unlikeable characters. I legit did not care about a single character in this book. Twist was also very underwhelming and lame. If you are a first time reader of her books, I 10/10 do not recommend starting with this one, as it is far from being her best work. I am honestly surprised by how highly rated this one is on Goodreads
12. The Ex
This one was pretty close to One by One. I can usually finish her books in one sitting, but it took me a bit longer to get through this one as I was pretty bored from the start. The point of view from the ex was more interesting than the other point of view featured in the book. I can say that I didn’t see the twist coming, but it wasn’t enough to save the book overall. The timeline also got to be confusing, to the point of being frustrating, and I had to go back to previous chapters for it to all make sense. Also: I agree with other reviewers who are enraged by how long it took (aka the very end of the book) for one of the characters to realize that in order to save her used bookstore, located by a hospital, that perhaps she should sell medical textbooks. Hello?!
11. Do you remember
My second most recent read of Freida’s, and it was pretty good. A solid, compelling page turner. But. she still has far better books, which is why it’s lower on this list
10. The surrogate
Another addicting Freida book that I finished in one sitting. It was pretty predictable, but still a fun and page turning read. But some of the characters (IE: Monica and Sam) pissed me off to the point that I was angry and frustrated through a large chunk of the book. I still stand by the fact that Sam is far from being the perfect husband, and Abby deserved better (still sitting here side eyeing Sam as I sit here typing this. I feel very protective over Abby, I can’t help it.)
9. The locked door
This one was good and it was another finished in one sitting read, but in comparison to her other books, it was still pretty mediocre. Solid read, but not her best
8. Never Lie
Ooh this one was so fun! I am a sucker for locked room type thrillers, especially ones that contain being trapped in a mysterious house in the middle of a snow storm. Definitely a fun page turner
7. The Inmate
This was my first Freida book that I read, and what turned me into a Freida McFadden addict. I was legit hooked on her writing thanks to this book. There were so many twists throughout the story that not only did I get whiplash, but at one point I didn’t trust a single character featured in the story, and I had no idea how it was all going to play out. The conclusion was satisfying, and the final twist literally made my jaw drop. The prologue, along with the overall writing, is what made this a 5 star read for me. Unfortunately though, the main character was probably my least favorite character of all of Freida’s characters so far. She was so irritatingly stupid that I wanted to throw my book at times. I literally hated her so much that I nearly gave this one a 3 star rating; I’ve done as much with other books because sometimes an unlikeable main character can really ruin a book for me, but like I said, the addictive nature of the writing and the jaw dropping twist saved this one from a lower rating!
6. Do Not Disturb
Okay so here’s the thing with this one: I predicted pretty much every twist, but yet this is still one of my favorites. It was so much fun, and yet another one that I finished in one sitting. i LOVE mystery/thriller novels that take place in motels/hotels. I don’t know what it is about them, but i just love them, both in fiction and real life. The motel featured in this book was so mysterious and eerie, that I wish it were real so I could visit it. I read this in one sitting during the night, and the darkness made it that much more intriguing to read. If you love locked room thrillers, you will definitely enjoy this one
5. The Perfect Son
Very compelling read and I don’t have anything bad to say about this one. Sure, I pretty easily guessed the twist, but it was still a solid, engaging plot with a satisfactory ending
4. The Wife Upstairs
So good! Again, somewhat predictable, but still very compelling from start to finish. I especially loved the diary entries. Definitely a book to get cozy with on a stormy day/night
3. Want to Know a Secret
Loved loved loved this one! I was pleasantly surprised by just how much I loved this one; I was hooked from the very first page. The suspense is gradual at first, but continues to build up drastically. I was literally on the edge of my seat with the flip of every page. It got to a point where I was getting anxiety because of everything that was happening. The twists were oh so satisfying, and although it would have been a little silly if someone else had written it, I even loved the final twist!
2. The Housemaid’s Secret
I was a little wary and hesitant going into this one, because The Housemaid was so good that I didn’t think this one could possibly measure up or even compare. But I was pleasantly surprised! I still prefer The Housemaid, but not by much. This was a solid follow up! It was fun being reunited with Millie, and delving into a new mystery with her
1. The Housemaid
Absolutely amazing! Freida at her best, hands down! This book deserves all the hype and rave reviews! I was hooked from start to finish, and was sad when it ended because I had so much fun reading it. I was so invested in the story. Seriously, chef’s kiss!

I am not familiar at all with merch sales be it within the kpop community or not, but of course, I heard a lot about Doyoung's merch or related things that were sold out. It makes me wonder a lot about Dozennies. What are their average age, their professions and their schedules. Because things have been sold out quite frequently recently, I would always imagine that most Dozennies are working young adults who are probably around the same age as Do. You gotta be able to have financial means to buy these things. Most are not expensive but some are not that cheap either.
And they are always updated on Do's because they were so fast in buying all these. Sometimes, I also wonder if it's just the same people buying his products because most of these are sold online. Like I do read that some fandom do bulk orders to help the idol. Honestly, the only thing I'm concerned with with bulk ordering is what do they do with it. Resell it at a higher price? I guess better than just shoved into a corner collecting dust. I just don't have the experience of buying merch, so I don't really know the competition to get these things. My friend's an Army though and I've seen the immense struggle when buying albums (that's the closest experience I have). Is it possible that for highly competitive fandom, these purchases are kinda like gambling because you'll never know if you get to check the items out and that makes people addicted in some way? (at this point I'm just rambling but interesting tho)
And one thing I always wonder about kpop merch is that the products are more frequently released compared to other fandoms I think? Like not just companies merch, they also have collabs like sanrio, nr, etc. How do fans keep up with this constant release of merch and collab? Because I think when you become an ambassador for brands, it is to increase the sale of the brand itself. And when you pick nct as ambassadors, the market is most likely the fandom right (or no?) If it is, how can the fandom keep up with all the sales or am I underestimating fandom purchasing power? Or perhaps I overestimate the quantity of the products they plan to sell.
Idol companies don't earn with music. They earn with merch and concerts. Btw, SM is a company that produces very little merch in comparison to others.
I'm a book illustrator, but the books I illustrate have very low number of copies. From 500 to 3-5k. Maybe some had more, I don't have author copies for all and not all have the data. And publishing companies still spend from half a year to two years to prepare such a book. The trick is to put out something on the shelves all the time, to gain from the volume. K-pop groups have millions of fans. And almost all fans buy merch in one form or another. 1mln will buy an album, 200k will buy a poster, 20k will buy a mug, another 20k will buy Sanrio stickers, yet another 20k will buy a magazine.
A fan doesn't need to know and buy all merch released, I doubt it's feasable even for the most rich and crazily commited, it's enough for him/her to buy from time to time. Fanclubs help to keep up with the info and make collective orders. There are k-pop merch shops that work as middle men as well.
I'm a pretty merch resistant person, I don't like to spend money on things that collect dust, but even I fall to "I want to treat myself" and "I want to have fun". I can buy well produced merch or cheap merch. Especially if it's sparkly, haha. I don't need a plastic standie even for free, but a clear file is a product I'll take. Smart companies diversify their offer.
To sell merch companies invent different strategies and fuel the competition among fans. Fans buy merch to show off (look how rich I am, I have hundreds of lightsticks), to show dedication to their bias (look what a big fan I am, I made a shrine), to satisfy human's innate instinct to collect (idol cards, the hunt for limited editions), to support their bias (buying the endorsed stuff, taking pictures of it, posting on socmed and tagging the company), to win the race with other bands (this applies to the albums mostly).
Bulk buying. Honestly, I think the majority of the albums get into the hands of fans. There are not that many fans who can buy 100 albums to pull out cards and then drop the photoalbums in trashcan. Cases like that just make news. Fans give out the albums to non-fans (to PR their group), give for free to the fans with no money or re-sell on forums for half the price. Think about it, Sticker sold over 2mln. Jaehyun alone has more than 10mln subscribers on IG.
As for working adults. Sure, "now I grew up and can buy whatever I want" exist, but the majority of merch buyers are teenagers who get their money from their parents or from part-time work. Studying in Uni/working adults need to pay rent, buy work clothes, pay off their college loans, buy textbooks. Teens, on the other hand, need to show off before their peers, be better, have the latest toy. Nowadays the "toy" is loads of k-pop merch.
Companies like NR win from selling directly to fans and from fans advertising the brand/products on socmed. Plus the idols simply work as pretty models who know how to appeal. It's not nesessary to know who they are to be pulled in and be affected. The ads are showed on screens in cosmetic shops.
Doyoung has a lot of younger fans, at least the ones that write/call him. But I agree that he should attract more young adults than, say, Mark. His core fans like him for the voice first and foremost, for his life advice/grounded personality/emotional support secondly.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐎-𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 — 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐩𝐞𝐧
Tumblr media
(Disclaimer. I’m not saying one is better, but I will be using comparisons to highlight differences! I also mostly mention more popular video games in this post but I highly recommend checking out indie games as well.)
Novelist, poet, playwright, copywriter, non-fiction— theres a lot of types of writers— and one I don’t see often mentioned is the narrative designer. It’s a role that can be applied in a lot of different ways, all of them valuable nonetheless.
I’ve been playing video games ever since I was very young, and a lot of games marketed toward children/younger audiences have their own sort of story. Pokémon, Mario and Zelda come to mind. I got older and got into more serious stories, Skyrim, Fallout, and now as an adult, I still play these games alongside more mature ones. The Witcher, the earlier God of War installments, etc.
Some people also seem to think video games can’t be serious (beyond being dark or edgy, anyways), or utilize actual storytelling devices to make a point. Which is simply wrong. One example would be the bioshock franchise, which is accepted as an allegory for different economical and social systems, specifically Objectivism.
The most memorable (and forgive me, I must be brief otherwise I’ll get too excited), would be Bloodborne. The story isn’t given to you flat out, and some of the lore is rather difficult to decipher. But when it comes together, it’s fucking beautiful. The game is an eldritch/cosmic horror which derives from the work of H.P Lovecraft, dealing with the themes of addiction, misanthropy, cosmic insignificance, the brutality and horror that can be within pregnancy/menstruation/childbirth, the consequence of knowledge, and the insanity. I love the story and lore of Bloodborne so much it truly makes me want to cry. (Plus, it’s a special interest of mine.)
I’ve played over a hundred video games in my time and will continue to play them. They are one of the things that enhances my skill as a writer!
Here’s the caveat. Video games take time and a lot of them, skill. My personal favorite video games with my favorite stories are some of the most difficult. That’s just not for everybody! For those people, I generally recommend play throughs or starting with heavily story based games. Or…easy mode, if the game has it. Just don’t start with Sekiro: Shadows’s Die Twice unless you’re a serious masochist.
— 𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐈𝐍 𝐀 𝐃𝐈𝐅𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓, 𝐒𝐎 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐈𝐒 𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐃𝐄𝐃?
“Oh, I thought you just shoot stuff and run around…”
I’m pretty sure most people who play video games have heard something similar. Because yes, some games, there isn’t a particular story!
Yet, in Call of Duty, a game known for running around and shooting people (definitely not known for having online lobbies with people who are incapable of saying slurs every .5 seconds...) actually has their own story campaigns which can be incredibly entertaining and well written.
Pretentiousness is a large factor in people overlooking video games, in my opinion. Some people stroke their soft, limp intellectual egos with literature, which has always confused me. It takes work and thought to understand a story in any format! Some games don’t give it to you at face value, and some force you to explore in order to learn more. Which leads me into my next point…
— 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐒𝐄𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐒
Even in games that are linear, there’s often secrets laying around. Straightforward games may have notes, letters, paintings with descriptions that add to the lore of the world. It allows you to connect dots without being told exactly what’s going on.
One of my favorite examples of this is Hollow Knight, which has a story that isn’t explained practically at all. Without spoiling the game for anyone who may want to play, I’ll say that there’s tablets and secret areas around the game which contain lore, but my favorite mechanic is achieved with “the Dream Nail”. This mechanic enables you to hear the contorted and melancholy thoughts of the creatures around you which adds a layer of sadness and further hopelessness to the overall tone of the game.
Video games have the liberty to tell stories with the very environment you walk in. Horror games placing terrible, mangled corpses and showing you “this is what happens to you” without saying it. Adventure games leaving old tombs with a warrior’s sword for you to collect and learn that there was someone here before you. Books don’t have the liberty to implement this in the same way because while we understand atmosphere, things being mentioned and detailed in the pages are generally meant to have a specific purpose and reminder. Environmental storytelling is something you stumble upon, and can be done without words.
— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐈𝐂𝐄
The main story of Red Dead Redemption 2 is fifty hours long. You are responsible for Arthur Morgan as a player, but have no control over his inevitable fate. Assuming you do side quests, you may invest hundreds of hours into your play through. The Last of Us is 15hrs, God of War 4 is 25. That’s a lot of time to fall in love with a character and learn about this world. (Keep in mind this refers to actually playing the game, not just watching cutscenes.)
A lot of video games have shorter stories, but nonetheless, you’re taking the time to see story/character progression in a much longer format than a book. In my opinion, that is part of what makes it so powerful. Even in a game such as The Last of Us where you can’t change the outcome in any way, you feel as though you’re responsible for keeping your characters alive along the way. But in games like Detroit Become Human, Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls where you are the one choosing this character’s ending, you have the added pressure.
That’s still writing. Imagine not only having to write one well written ending, but multiple? And to have them make sense? That’s not done well in every video game, because it’s god damn difficult! A criticism that gets brought up in a few different games I’ve played is that certain available narrative choices as well as gameplay styles don’t suit the characters. Analyzing characters individually as a player and balancing what you want to do versus what your character would do— RPG or not— is a whole new layer of nuance.
The time you spend with a character, whether they be a set character or one created by the player, creates a bond. This goes for the characters around you as well!
When it comes to created characters in games, a lot of people get exposed to OC creation this way. Obviously, this goes for fandom as well, but combined with the point of “what would my character do” alongside the rest of the story brings people a lot of enjoyment. The imagination can run wild in that regard.
— 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐏𝐋𝐎𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐒
There’s a few games where I’ve gotten more invested in the side plot narrative than the main story. Or, even with an amazing main story, the side quests not only tell you more about the world and character, but tie into the original plot. DLCs can achieve this too!
I’d say video game stories can actually get a bit overwhelming because there’s often so much. But a game with good subplot and side quests will make you want to seek them out.
Anyway, that’s about all I’ve got for now. I could make this post as long as a comedically large “sign here”, scroll— but I won’t! <3

✗ CONFIDENTIAL TRIBUTE FACILITY SIGN UP SHEET records the attendance of JULE MAXWELL, a TRIBUTE from DISTRICT 5. The applicable authorities may note, that the 21 year old FEMALE / SHE/HER/HERS is SHREWD, PERSISTENT, AND RESILIENT, but has also been known to be DISHONEST, AVOIDANT, AND CHAOTIC. Similarities in appearance can be seen with MARGARET QUALLEY. According to previous reports, they’re often associated with the gleam of neon lights in a dingy bar, sneaking out through a window at night and a suddenly empty pocket after passing someone on the street.
BIO
Jule Maxwell grew up well.
Well, in this sense, meant that the family’s house was large in comparison to most others in District 5. Well, for her, meant that her parents kept jobs that paid so well that Jule did not particularly care to get and keep her own.
Well, in this case, did not mean that Jule grew up to be who her parents would have liked her to be. She looked for the thrill in everything she did with her life. It started out with little things. Sneaking out at night to meet up with friends that lived on the other side of town and led lives so very different from her own. Ditching work to pursue spontaneous whims and subsequently being let go from each after some time.
Then, it evolved into bigger things.
Pickpocketing provided small doses of adrenaline that got more and more addictive after each time she did it, slipped her fingers into someone’s coat pocket and retrieved whatever was in there. Wallets, small knick-knacks, and more. Somewhere down that road, it escalated into bigger things. The friend group snuck into the houses of the wealthy, foregoing security measures and guard dogs. They didn’t steal there, but they raided fridges and booze cabinets, indulging in whatever the scenery they were at offered.
Each and every time, she got away with it.
Coming out with zero repercussions would give anyone a big head, but Jule only cared about chasing the next high.
The downfall came, when the group set their eyes on the mayor’s house.
They got in like they did every other time. Slipping in through a window, foolishly unguarded, and went for the liquor cabinet first. The mayor had an array of the best whiskey available in Panem, displayed pristinely and almost proudly. This time, Jule and the others indulged a little too much. Drunkenness made them careless, and what happened next remained in Jule’s memory as a blur. They got caught, there was a tussle.
The next morning, Jule woke up behind bars.
Her parents paid the fee to get her out while her friends remained in prison, while Jule was ordered community service. The case was highly publicized, the Maxwell family in shambles.
On her own, Jule faced anger from other residents in the city, as though bottled up wrath had finally found an outlet.
When her name was called at the Reaping for the 25th Hunger Games, Jule felt that thrill go through her limbs again.
This time, however, it was dampened by dread.
What is their District token?
Nothing. Her parents did not come to see her off.
What is their weapon of choice?
A pocket knife.

Earlier tonight I indulged to a slight extent in a guilty pleasure vice I hadn’t engaged in in months. I sort of fell into it accidentally, but I still actively pursued it, albeit to a much lesser extent as I used to pretty regularly.
It felt weird doing it, considering the negative connotation said vice—it was basically a habit of mine for a time—has taken on for me. But it also felt weirdly satisfying, like a friendly return to a (slightly) earlier time. It was like seeing an old friend.
This was not a vice of substances, but rather a vice of juxtaposition, of comparison to another. This everso addicting facet of human behavioral patterns seized me in a substantial and highly specific manner for longer than I’d like to admit. I associate it now with getting stressed out and frustrated for literally no reason.
But now that I’m able to take a step back and judge things for what they are, unclouded by senseless emotion, it felt almost like a recalibration. It wasn’t like a relapse or anything. It was simply a reminder of someone I used to be, an ideal I used to aspire to, and how that experience still lingers and has greatly impacted, really, the course of my life. And I can’t help but be grateful for how far I’ve come yet how I still keep contact with that young(er) girl.
I’ve been feeling really like myself lately. It feels really good.

Depression in the Digital Age: How Technology Affects Mental Health
Tumblr media
Depression is a serious mental health issue that affects millions of people around the world. In today’s digital age, technology has become an integral part of our lives, and it can have both positive and negative impacts on our mental health. Technology has made communication easier, but it can also lead to feelings of isolation and disconnection from others. It’s important to be aware of how technology affects your mental well-being so you can make informed decisions about its use in your life.
One way that technology contributes to depression is through social media use. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc., are designed for us to share updates with friends or followers about what we are doing or thinking at any given moment in time. This 'over-sharing' culture encourages comparison between users, leading many people to feel inadequate compared to their peers, resulting in low self-esteem issues that may contribute to depressive symptoms, such as sadness or apathy towards activities they once enjoyed before social media became prevalent in society.
Another factor contributing to depression due to the digital age could be online gaming addiction. Games often provide instant gratification by allowing players rewards quickly when completing tasks within the game. However, without proper moderation, this could lead gamers into a cycle where they become too reliant on these rewards, turning gaming into more than just entertainment but rather an escape from reality. This creates further detachment from real-life situations, causing more severe depressive symptoms over time if not treated properly.
If you think you might be suffering from depression due to overuse/addiction-related technological activities, seeking professional help is highly recommended. Speaking with counseling professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, or even finding a psychiatrist near Indore (which one should do) will allow individuals to access support tailored specifically for them. This way, they can develop strategies for managing their condition effectively while still being able to enjoy all aspects of modern-day living safely and responsibly.

Solh Wellness: A Healthier Alternative of Social Media | Solh Wellness
Social media platforms have become an essential component of our everyday lives in the modern era of technology. With the help of these platforms, we now have never-before-seen options for communication and self-expression, allowing us to do everything from share our thoughts and experiences with close friends and family to the rest of the globe. But there are complex issues around the effect of social media on mental health that frequently go unrecognized.
Tumblr media
Social media promises community and connection, but it can also be harmful to our mental health. The following are some ways that social media can impact mental health:
Comparison Culture:The culture of comparison fostered by social media is among the major problems. Users frequently make comparisons between their own accomplishments, bodies, and lives and those of people they see online who have been altered and glamorized. Feelings of inadequacy, jealousy, and low self-esteem can result from this continual comparison.
Fear of Missing Out (FOMO):On social media, pictures of people having what seem to be amazing experiences are routinely posted. Even when our lives are joyful, this might result in FOMO, the fear of missing out on attractive opportunities or activities. Anxiety and worry might result from FOMO.
Cyberbullying: The anonymity of social media can result in cyberbullying, in which certain people are singled out for offensive remarks and communications. Many cyberbullying victims endure melancholy and anxiety, and some even think of harming themselves or taking their own lives.
Social Isolation: Ironically, excessive usage of social media can lead users to feel alone. Less face-to-face interaction as a result of increased online time may have an impact on how we perceive our social relationships and feelings of loneliness.
Negative Self-Image: Particularly among younger users, the regular exposure to idealized beauty standards on services like Instagram may result in body dissatisfaction and concerns about body image.
Information Overload: Social media's continual barrage of information can cause cognitive overload and elevated stress. You may experience increased tension and overwhelm if you frequently check your news feeds.
Addiction:Social media exists to entice users and cause addiction. Because of the frequent scrolling, notifications, and "likes," our brains release dopamine, which can lead to a difficult-to-break addicted cycle.
How is Solh Wellness more productive and helpful?
In contrast to social media, Solh Wellness is a calm, caring, and judgment-free zone where you are free to discuss life-related difficulties in support groups with individuals who have similar worries. This creates a better and safer environment. In support groups, people of all ages can openly discuss practically any social issue without worrying about being mocked or disparaged for their troubles.
With the help of our software's capabilities, such as Mood Analytics, Goal Settings, Talk Now, and many others, you can analyze and control your emotions. These self-evaluation techniques are highly successful in getting you to focus on your own life rather than the lives of others in order to work on yourself forever.
We have "Solh Buddy," an honest and dependable friend who offers helpful feedback in response to comments made on "Journaling." People may speak freely on this feature without worrying about being judged because our Solh Buddy engages with them, gets to know them, and makes them feel seen and heard.
The main demographics susceptible to stress and anxiety in this hectic and fast-paced atmosphere are students and professionals, who also utilize social media the most. It follows that using the Solh App is essential for people in order to relax from their daily grind and get perspective on their lives through the app's features and activities. As a result, there may be stability and mental calm, which might improve performance in their particular fields.
Through a number of initiatives, including the Employee Wellness Program (EWP) and the School Wellness Program (SWP), we make every effort to safeguard the welfare of both children and staff. Every program has a "Organizational Dashboard," where we can listen to, comprehend, and address employee and student issues utilizing a range of useful tools that they can never obtain through social media. Our main goal is to create a space where experts and students can engage and grow comfortable and resilient in both their professional and academic lives.
By engaging Solh Wellness' assistance, we can effectively support people's mental and emotional well-being. Actively focusing on bettering your mental health is significantly preferable to idly surfing social media.
Conclusion
While comparison, anxiety, and cyberbullying can negatively affect our mental health, social media has become an integral part of our lives. Solh Wellness can be used in place of social media for a safer and more productive experience. There are safer support groups where participants can communicate with one another, share, like, and comment on their thoughts without fear of rebuke. Due to its empathetic characteristics, helpful areas for discussing life's concerns, and self-evaluation tools, Solh is a lot healthier and safer than social media.
