A character I'm working on for a pirate themed dnd campaign!

Took me a lil longer to post this one here cuz I want to spoil his backstory here, especially cuz my future dnd party doesn't use tumblr that much.

But if any of you guys found this somehow, pls do not read his backstory here!! It has lots of spoilers!!

Here's the character in question. His name is Coco and he's a 19 y/o human sorcerer that'll play the role as one of the main antagonists of my campaign.

As a toddler, he snuck inside a ship on the coast of his home island, that was coincidently the ship Balthazar (a monkey npc that will guide the party in the future) and Discord (a lizardfolk or dragonborn that will be the main antagonist of the campaign) owned. After finding the small child on their ship, inside a coconut crate, they both decided that they'd not be keeping him on the ship, and started trying to discover from what island he came from. During that search, Discord witnessed Coco's sorcerer powers beginning to manifest, which made him come up with a plan.

You see, Discord had been planning on backstabbing Balthazar and stealing the ship and all of its riches for some weeks, but after finding out that Coco had the potential to become a strong sorcerer, he decided he was going to use that child as a weapon to get what he wanted. After changing Balthazar's mind about returning Coco, Discord began putting his plan in action, a plan that would take years to work, but with little risk of failure if done right.

Coco grew up seeing Discord as his idol, his father figure that would always be by his side defending him when no one else would. Meanwhile with Balthazar, they'd argue a lot an have their differences (most of them fueled by Discord), so Coco saw him as a authority figure rather than a parent. In reality, Balthazar did love Coco as his own child, although a bit tough with his lessons, he just wanted to see Coco flourish and be the best version of himself, something that Coco couldn't see while growing up.

After Coco made his 18th birthday, Discord decided to put his plan into action, convincing Coco to help him kill Balthazar and steal the ship. Coco agreed, but when he got to killing off Balthazar, he hesitated, just pushing him onto the ocean instead of giving the finishing blow.

After Discord discovered that he was extremely angry, and started seeing Coco as wasted potential instead of the little star Coco was used to being treated as. That made Coco promise to himself to prove to Discord that he was worthy of praise, using all of his abilities to please his father figure and make him proud.

Further on the campaign Discord will force Coco to become a Warlock so his patron can take over his body, just to make him a stronger weapon for his use. "Possessed" Coco will start growing corals on his right side and his right arm will be replaced by a huge crab claw (his patron is a crab-like entity of the depths)

N now some fun facts about him!

- his name is Coco because of the coconut crate he was found inside, which made him start wearing a coconut mask you see him wearing on the drawing

- he was inspired by Licorice cookie! My favorite cookie run character

- he's my favorite villain trope in media: charismatic loser that is trying to prove they don't suck at being evil and scary but they do

- he has a crush on a 30y/o aarakocra that owns a tavern named "Songbird", and yes he knows he has 0 chances with him, Coco just thinks that he's hot, cooks and has an angelic voice

- his best friend is a shark girl named Scarlett

Alright- y’all wanted it- or at aleast like 2 of you did- so uuuuh TMNT OCS!! WOOOOHOOO!

Uh they’re not that good- And yeah! There is a 2012 one on here- I’m working on a Rise design for her (I wanna make her Baxter’s older sister in Rise, she’s not related to him in 2012 other than he built her the legs/tail she has)

First up is my favorite one- Cami!

Cami is a futacuchi onna (a two mouthed woman or in Cami’s case girl and one of my favorite tradition japanese Yōkai) and a mostly speechless assassin. Her mouth talks more than she does but the “talking” is just garbled speech. She’s quiet because she doesn’t know that much English, and is fluent in Spanish. The only times she gets above a whisper will she talks is when immense anger over comes her and just *intense Spanish yelling* She was hired to kill the turtles, but YKNOW she gets a huge ol’ crush on April and wouldn’t want to hurt her so REDEMPTION! I don’t have a 2012 version yet but I’m gonna make one. In that I think she would be hired by the Kraang to get April, since she can act much more human than they can. She would infiltrate April’s school, wearing her hood obviously, and pretend to befriend her. But Then she actually befriends her and- y’know- then she gets a huge ol’ crush on April and wouldn’t want to hurt her so XD

Next up is the Snake Sisters! They don’t have names yet but I’m working on it!

These two were snake charmers before getting mutated and stuck together. You’d think because they’re siblings they’d get along but they absolutely hate each other! Of course, the turts help them bond (very, very tediously) and eventually they become closer! And then start destroying things! Because what’s a mutant got to do? In 2012 they’re much more monstrous and physically violent towards each other, and is an experiment by the Kraang, leaning more into the darker ways 2012 is than Rise. They’re animalistic, sort of like bat dad (or Kirby, since we don’t wanna have fun around here) but they can still talk and act human when calm. The sisters attack whatever they can before April calms them down and they basically become her annoying aunts. In Rise, April isn’t that important to them, since they’re more focused on M U R D E R skekekejeje they also have a flute staff lol

Next is... ugh- I named her Cameron- I’m so sorry-

The reason I didn’t finish this or post her is because her design is too confusing. Before mutation, she was a student in photography club. Basically she got fused with her camera because idk in 2012 you can mutate with electronics and food so why not Rise??? I also made a bubble gum girl- a girl made of bubble gum- but I didn’t like her design so I’m fixing her up XD. Now back to Cameron. Cam is actually very happy with her mutation since she didn’t show her face online anyways, and in this form she can take photos and videos of anything as soon as she wants. However- that kinda sucks for the turtles cuz- well- SHE VIDEO’D THEM. They have this whole fight and eventually knock her memory card out and shut her down (it kinda sucks to be a camera) but Mikey convinces them not to wipe her because let’s not purposely make someone forget their entire existence. Too bad the Foot Clan does it anyways, gives her a machine gun arm and tells her that the Turtles wiped her memory and that she is actually a Foot soldier who now forgets all of her training because of them. So yeah! That’s fun!! I don’t have a 2012 version for her but I’m working on it! It’s probably gonna be very similar to Rise though.

And finally- ANOTHER PERSON WHO DOESNT HAVE A NAME! SHE’S ORIGINALLY A 2012 OC-

Okay so I don’t actually like her design that much. This is kinda an old drawing but basically- she’s a metal cyborg. She’s not a mutant, but before Baxter was mutated she found him and wanted him to build her legs after seeing what he did for Xever. The Foot promised he would as long as she repayed them with her service. So she did. She can change her legs into a tail and y’know that episode where the turtles had to go under water but there was a giant thing outside and they thought it was gonna kill them but it mistaked their turtle submarine thing for another of its species and like... flirted with it??? Uh yeah that’s not just randomly there- it’s her under water (with a mask of course) and that’s her introduction! After that they see her more often. Also Fish Face tries to flirt with her and she smacks him because, it’s not a weird crush or tsundere thing, she legitimately just hates him and his weird advances. She’s a really party-loving, fun girl but while working for the Foot and Shredder, her mind kinda twists a little. She becomes more angry, much more short tempered, but quieter and scared when people raise her voice or get mad at her. She’s scarred because of the Foot and I think that really extenuates how evil they are.Eventually the Turtles and April help her out, and for a little while she’s a spy, and then gets out under the boys’ protection! She becomes a scout for them and helps them on missions. Of course, her legs self-destruct because the Foot made Baxter add it in case she betrayed them. Of course there’s an intense scene of her trying to get out of them, and the Turtles desperately tearing them off of her, and she just narrowly escapes exploding. But Donnie builds her new ones, she’s got legs with a tail AND a jet pack so she can fight with her tail on land and fly! And of course, when Karai sees that mermaid girl got outta the clan, she’s really happy. Karai viewed her as the big sister she never had and they reunite happily. And then In Rise she’s Baxter’s older sister and is in a wheelchair. She’s very protective, sarcastic, and has some anger issues sometimes, but always has a soft smile on her face. She’s trying her best and genuinely cares for her lil bro. Bax of course rigs the wheelchair so she can fly in it, and she gets a tail of course! But it happens later. She’s not really evil and her and April are BFFs, but she‘s on Bax’s side and “plays his little game and entertains him. He’s only a bored little kid.” She’s friends with the turtles tho and it’s all really chill with her XD

favorite type of drink: crystal pepsi

every fucking year i email the Bepsi company and ask when this god damn drink is coming back. last year? literally spent almost all of 2019 moving house, and i got no crystal pepsi anywhere in that time. now it’s 2020. there’s a plague. and the world is burning. and there’s still no fucking crystal pepsi. the moral of the story here is, as soon as pepsi brings back The Good Shit, everything can be nice again. i am .3 seconds away from breaking into pepsi HQ in the midst of this Rioting Chaos just to steal the Crystal Pepsi recipe from their fat stupid noses and start making it myself. I will market it as... Creestöl Bepsi.

oh wait im supposed to talk about the drink, right, shit’s good yo. you know how all clear sodas taste vaguely the same? they all taste like Clear Drink? this is like Clear Drink in it’s purest form. it is the Clearest Drink. with the most Clearest Drink taste. and thanks to it’s (formerly) limited annual runs at the end of summer it literally tastes like nostalgia. I have left the house like twice in the last three months but if they brought back crystal pepsi i would march out of my house like its on fire (wearing a mask of course) and buy every fucking bottle i could find, life savings be damned

favorite art program: begrudgingly, photoshop

adobe may be a greedy bitch baby company who doesnt actually let you buy their software outright but damn,,, photoshop Nice,,, hehehehe,,, i can do so Much with it it’s such a multitool of a program,,, i just upgraded to the 2020 version in february and there’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many more brushes than there were in the 2014 version, and most of them are actually really useful!! i’m living for this guy’s brushes, uh, kyle?? yeah, kyle t. webster. now THAT guy knows how to make some brushes. i’ve been using the same ones for like six years but he’s got this GORGEOUS lineart brush i’ve been using and dear god i love it too much to ever go back. I Will Never Go Back. AND I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT LIKE, BLEND BRUSHES?? there are ones that perfectly emulate real pencils thanks to how photoshop handles brushes, it even wears out and widens with use (you can choose how fast...) and you can TILT your STYLUS to USE THE BROADER SIDE OF THE “LEAD”??? LIKE?? A REAL PENCIL???? still blows my mind,, photoshop’s brush engine is fucking amazing,,

Thoughts on keeping a sketchbook?

sketchbooks are great and i envy people who have those really nice, blank-page sketchbooks with the little rounded corners on each page? and they always fill them with studies and life drawings,,, its so Aesthetic,,,

meanwhile im adamant for some damn reason to do most of my drawings on lined paper still. not the serious ones, but if im doodling, or just doing a sketch i intend to finish in photoshop? composition notebook. i have Dozens of Actual sketchbooks, but those are so nice... i don’t want to fill them with stupid meme drawings and things i wont finish and things i draw Badly and things that i Will finish but not There. i’m glad im not going to college cuz i always hear “oh you have to submit your sketchbooks” im like haha What cuz my sketchbooks,,,, are probably some of the most unprofessional, badly organized, unfinished messes out there,,, like i do studies but it’s all on lined notebook paper and half-destroyed composition notebooks because at the end of 8th grade everyone was throwing out their unused or slightly used school supplies and there was a WHOLE RECYCLING BIN FULL OF COMPOSITION NOTEBOOKS?? MOST OF WHICH ONLY HAD THE FIRST LIKE 15 PAGES FILLED OUT IF THAT???? SO I JUST KINDA. RAIDED IT?? i havent bought lined paper in 8 years and all the school supplies i looted out of the garbage that day carried me all the way through high school. i bought maybe one notebook in highschool, that was it. i think i literally trash picked a lifetime of lined paper,,,

,,, anyway i have a Nice Sketchbook (no lined paper!) ive been toting around since sophomore year of high school. it’s still got printouts taped to it from supernatural and doctor who and black rock shooter. this was seven years ago, i still use it when i want to use Nice Paper, and only now am i approaching the last pages. i also have a separate sketchbook i decided to start using for concept art and sketches for my webcomic i will never actually start working on! that one’s about as professional as i get, it’s full of robot designs and sketches of scenes. its fun.

Thoughts on any pets you have?

i love me pets! they are not my pets they are my parents pets but i take care of them more so who cares. i love them. i love all three doggos even if Gigi is an old lazy fart that doesn’t care about anything that isn’t sleeping, food, going outside, or bellyrubs. she doesn’t even listen to you if you call her or tell her to do something. i dont know what her deal is. and gemma!! is a depressed muppet. she’s probably just getting old herself even though she’s only,,, seven. we got a third dog and she never got over it. she is still my favorite though, she’s adorable and i love her little under bite and her big goofy eyes that don’t have a single thought or braincell behind them. she floofy and snuggley and a big ol scardey cat who always comes into my room for hours when there’s a Loud Sound outside which is great because i cant sleep when something else is alive in my room and its not me but whatever i cant say no to her, especially now that we’re both on the same floor and i would probably take a bullet for this funky lil fuzzball.

speaking of the third dog that is kiwi i post more pictures of her than anyone else for some reason but she’s a cute lil goblin. i mean what is this thing. what is it!! im not even entirely convinced its a dog, i think its a weird lil alien that knows what a dog looks like and that’s it

(Thx so much for ask!) Get ready cuz this is gonna be long cuz idk how to do the lil line thing to make it short! kinda manga spoilers

The first one : what draws you towards it/ what's interesting about it?

Honestly I've been into mha for a few years and even after cycling through fandoms and interests I always keep coming back to it, to the new manga chapters, to check if any fiction I like are updated, I keep cosplaying characters from it even when I'm not actively in it. Idk why I enjoy it so much I think the world building is intersting, how since it's so superhero focused it doesn't have the weirdness of any other superhero thing like marvel or DC where there thir labeled the 'special ones' cuz they have powers or something, in mha nearly everyone has powers (but not everyone can use them, you're personal with is always gauged by how 'good' your quirk is) so the entire world is just continuously built on that and explores problems that type of world would only have. (The redesto arc for example, I've only seen stuff like that done in x men and not quite as welll)

The characters are really neato too (both in designs and personality)

The second one : who is my favorite and why?

Hawks is my fave (saro, compress, and spinner are also some of my faves but not as much as hawks is) I just love his character and every single scene hes in idk I've written so much about him (never posted but that may change soon) I've got a half finished cosplay of him (the wings took like two weeks but they're amazing)

I think I like how unique he is (at least to me idk if there's another ch like him prob but I am no expert on the matter) hes like the prefect hero and the perfect spy all in one. Unfortunate for everyone his moral compass is 'follow orders, dont let civilians get hurt'. His personality is so wild like whenever hes in 'hero mode' (which is most of the time hes around other peoole) he seems so arrogant and assured and competent, funny and like a total weirdo, then there's his like secret agent spy mode (seen mostly in the second movie and ah more recent chapters of the manga) where hes just cold and merciless and calculating everything, terrifyingly smart. I honestly think he just chameleons to what ever role would suit the situation best cuz thats how he was trained to be. (You also never know how he truly is around other people because hes always on the guard and putting up a mask and has zero social life or true friends. Twice was right I think hes actually pretty lonely but only ever focuses on the 'mission' and hero work to not have to focus on that)

Hes such an anomaly in the hero world like the first ever to reach the top 10 the year he debuted at 18 his own hero agency, he got up to be the #2 hero in like a few years, like that's all impressive enough then they explain why hes an anomaly cuz the hero comission basically bought a promising child and trained him from that young to be the perfect hero. Charismatic, capable, the fastest, the most loyal to them. And the fact that he still basically works for the hero comission because he feels he owes them for that. (At his core hes a great hero, he wants to help people not for fame or glory or anything just because he wants to, but he was also created to do so much more so he always has to do more like the dirty work the public would never dream of)

Like I dont think he ever had a even had a childhood, or a real family, or any friends, like sure hes almost the best hero but at what cost? His own identity, name, life? At this point I don't even think he can choose for himself what he want to do because it doesn't matter. What matters more is the 'greater good' its all of hero society crumbling because he wasn't fast enough. What he wants doesn't matter because in the long run hes just a pawn in a losing game. Honestly I just want him to be free but that's not going to happen. At the end it's either a jail cell or a grave for him and I dont know which would be worse.

Hes such a tragedy in motion, too young, too fast for his own good, and the fact hes such a morally gray hero but not like publicly cuz that wont be any good for hero society if they find out the #2 hero has like killed actual people. Hes exactly who he was trained to be, the perfect hero, the perfect solider, following orders no matter what, that sort of thing. Like hes one of the only character I've seen that has been trained to be a hero at a super young age (the other being todoroki) and that it paid off in terms of him being a great hero, but not at all a good person.

ALSO THE FACT HIS NAME HAWKS MY LAST NAME HAWK IS SO FUNNY i lik funny chinkn man (if you didnt know I have so much to say abt him but I'll leave that for later)

And my least favorite and why I dont like them?

I would have to be generic and say endeavor. Cuz 'personal reasons' and his start of redemption arc is just too close to things for me. trying to turn things around but both 'redemtions' are because of inherintly just selfish reasons in that endeavor wants to be better now because hes the #1 and all and for he betterment if himself and not because he recognizes how his past actions affect his family and working to change that. Like I kinda agree with natsus thst he shouldn't just come back acting like everything fine and not owning up to all the stuff he did or not even recognizes the things he did were just wrong. Idk dont really wanna say much more making me mad I dont have the brain cells at 3am to think abt him

ok so heres the rambly bit about the masks

jack ( the red one with the comedy mask) jack is darkxiadans btw - she is the comedy and there for the fun of violence i guess. i remember asking xai about the masks and she said comedy and tragedy for her two, and i could decide which was which. -jack without a smile isn't exactly jack

dominika ( the blue one with the blank mask ) - she is the group’s mother, blank and unfeeling while protecting her friends/ annoying lil shit 5 year olds that arnt actually 5 - her mask is a lot about how she feels to the whole violence part of the punk’s crimes. she doesn't care. she is admittedly one of the most responsible and adult like of the group yet she doesn't particularly feel remorse for what they've done

pheobe ( purple one with the butterfly mask ) - pheobes mask relates to a few things. one of the main ones is because i associate purple with butterflies. - secondly because butterflies are usually seen as” cute” or pretty, then you like actually see ones face close up and its like holy hell that thing is ugly as all hell. an that in a lot of ways is pheobe. shes small, dresses typically pretty cute then she opens her mouth an speaks about the effects of a shot gun at close range to the head while comparing it to a flower or something idk. - the third reason why is cuz butterflies are associated with change?transition and pheobe is a trans girl :P

dario ( green one and the one with the plague mask) - dario is the ring leader of this all. an his mask is again due to my colour association. - idk i think i have a proper explanation written down somewhere just not like here yet ( ill edit this later )

steven ( the tragedy mask ) also belongs to darkxaidan btw - steven is tragedy for many reason and one of the main ones is because hes a fuckin kill joy. - steven isn't happy with the punks an is only there to keep his cousin ( jack ) not out of trouble but hes like keeping an eye on her. ( hes hates this an hate him ) - morally he doesn't exactly care about what hes doing with these fools.

PINOF Through the Ages

ah, November, that special time of year between halloween and christmas where i can buy “fun sized” (read “thumb sized”) chocolate bars and tinsel in the same aisle at walmart…

it’s also that time of year where members of the phandom, young and old, come together and collectively binge watch all the PINOF videos in preparation for the newest installment, as we wait with bated breath for what fresh hell we’re gonna be hit with this year.

today, i would like to share with you my observations of PINOF Through The Years, as we embark on the fucking trip that is sure to be PINOF 9…

Phil is not on fire (25 October 2009)

- can you IMAGINE what the hell Phil’s parents and/or brother must’ve thought when they were filming that/saw it for the first time?! Phil brings home this random kid he found in a train station and they start giggling like actual 12 year olds and wandering round the house talking about The Shining, using the exercise equipment Phil has probably never stepped foot on in his life, and drawing on their faces in sharpie? i can fucking HEAR Kath saying “Phil…honey…are you on the drugs?” and Martyn cackling like a lunatic in the background at his brother and his weird friend….

- Dan is trying so. damn. hard. not to laugh throughout the entire video.

- Speaking of Dan, even back then he was a sassy, cocky lil shit… “every animal makes that noise with you…” “wow Phil, i bet they’re all so glad they can see the diagram…” “no, okay, Phil has really crappy GHDs that don’t even work…they don’t even work…they are Poundland GHDs.”

- everyone always talks about The Tackle™ at the end of the video, but not NEARLY enough people talk about the lil smirk Phil gives the camera just before it…like, seriously?! that’s a “haha, here goes nothing!” kinda smirk. thats a “lol watch this!” kinda smirk. thats a “give the people what they want” kinda smirk…im just sayin’…

Phil is not on fire 2 (29 May 2010)

- okay, first of all, Dan…sweetheart…did you borrow that cardigan from your mum?

- Dan: “if you could choose which surname you had, what would be your decision?” Phil: “…umm…” *almost imperceptible but still definitely there jumpcut* Phil: “Striker!”….yeah, yeah, yeah, alright, everyone knows that Phil really said “yours” in an incredibly sheepish and embarrassed voice to Dan that made him go “awwww!….you’re cutting that out…”, but lets appreciate the editing skills it took to make the cut so completely (almost) seamless….

- oh. my. GOD! there is an ENTIRE post JUST about the microwave moment, but i have to reiterate it again for those who have recently entered this hellscape: imagine you are Phil Lester, a 23 year old adult with an ENGLISH LANGUAGE DEGREE, and in comes this adorable 18 year old twink trying to tell you that “microwave” is a fucking onomatopoeia! if i was Phil, THIS would be the moment i’d never let Dan live down. fuck “hello internet”, if he ever pissed me off i’d just be like “yeah, well, at least i know microwave isn’t a fucking onomatopoeia…” and walk away. argument done, you win every time.

- and that being said, again, lets appreciate how much we can learn from the facial expressions of Philip Michael Lester. in that moment, the look he gives Dan is pure “are you fucking serious…?” it is incredulity in a nutshell. it is shock and fondness and “oh my god you are such a twat…”. if there were a dictionary of facial expressions, Phil’s face at the moment Dan says fucking microwave is his favourite onomatopoeia would be the one next to the definition of “wtf?”

Phil is not on fire 3 (1 November 2011)

- 2011 was, by far, the WORST year for Dan and Phil’s hair. tragic. absolutely tragic…

- wow, Dan was right, every animal DOES make the same noise to Phil, including horrific genetic hybrids of land and sea mammals…

- Dan’s ability to almost unhinge his jaw is terrifying…and i’m sure has played a part in lots of phanfic that i’m definitely not going to look for ever…

- okay, seriously guys?! the word is vagina. say it with me: vagina. come on! all together now! it’s not a *awkward silence and weird hand gesture*, it’s not a “birth area", it’s just a vagina…for someone who knows so much about placenta, it strikes me as odd that Dan can’t say the word vagina out loud…

- i’ve never heard anyone giggle as much as Dan does in this video…

Phil is not on fire 4 (12 September 2012)

- the hair is better this year…slightly…

- whoever decided that those face mask things were a good idea needs to be buried alive…the way they look when they move is so horrifying, it gives me nightmares.

- the “gu-hoy!” noise Dan makes in this video (ts 3:21 if you’re at all interested) is my text alert on my phone and it makes me panic every time i watch it because im like “wtf is someone texting me for at 11:53 pm?!” but then i realize it’s just the video and that i’m actually still very alone and have no friends…

- (bloopers bonus!) petition to have 2012 be known in the phandom as, ‘The Year Dan Was Finally Comfortable With The Word Vagina’. that’s all it was guys! he learned a new word and just wanted to show how broad his vocabulary had become!

Phil is not on fire 5 (22 November 2013)

- and right off the bat we’re affronted again by the fact that Dan and Phil have zero concept of how female anatomy works….

- this is probably the most uneventful pinof in the entire series.

Phil is not on fire 6 (6 November 2014)

- to return to the hair discourse, i firmly maintain that 2014 was the best year for their haircuts/styles.

- Phil has no concept of what a sassy face is…

- #StopPhil201X needs to just be a recurring thing every year…

- that poor, poor snake…

- petition for Dan to sing the national anthem at every tour stop in 2018

- the idea of Dan trying to carry on the legacy of Phil Is Not On Fire after Phil’s death is so damn heartbreaking to me…i need a minute

- my lil demon soul is convinced that Phil was doing *something* to Dan’s neck when they both tried to fit through that sweater…i mean, look at his face when he laughs and says “stop". seriously?!

- something about Dan with his fringe swapped, on the wrong side of the bed, and wearing Phil’s shirt makes me feel almost uncomfortable, but in a way that i’m not entirely sure how to process…

- (bloopers bonus!) to reiterate! every animal does, in fact, make the same noise to Phil. this has now been confirmed 3 times.

- (bloopers bonus!) the amount of pleasure Phil is able to derive from any mention of Hello Internet warms the deepest recesses of my soul like the light of the sun after a 1000 year winter.

Phil is not on fire 7 (29 November 2015)

- uh, excuse me? do not drag my country in such a way. Canada is indeed real. it’s where maple syrup comes from. as someone who enjoys the simplicity of a good pancake, i expected better from you Mr. Philip.

- i feel so bad for their neighbours during the stress mushroom tug of war…like, can you imagine what those poor people must’ve thought of them? i’d love to interview their neighbours one day…better yet, their neighbours should write a book: “I Lived Next To YouTubers For 5 Years: The Adventure" and just have it be a chronicle of every weird thing they ever witnessed/encountered.

- with every passing year, Dan’s knowledge of fanfiction tropes and writing styles becomes increasingly disturbing…hide the smut everyone Daniel Howell is coming for it.

- Phil! with the puns! honestly Dan, how do you put up with this man?

- (bloopers bonus!) the way dans voice changes when he grabs Phils underwear and is just ENTHRALLED with the fact that he’s colour coordinates his boxers to his bedsheets is probably the single most disgusting thing i have ever witnessed in my entire life…i mean, i love it, but why are you SO EXTRA?!

Phil is not on fire 8 (29 November 2016)

- NOTHING in the animal or cutlery kingdoms should be born or created in the way Phil describes the birthing process of a spork!

- okay. OKAY! i love the fringes, i really do. i’m a fringe fan from way back, but the hair pushed back thing they get going on sometimes? i can get on board with that.

- aaaannd at 1:57 into pinof 8, the little game i like to play called “Phan or Viktuuri" had all of its lines blurred so far beyond recognition i’m not even sure which universe i’m living in anymore.

- the PSA for “staying hydrated"…such a harmless, and beautiful message about health and self care that the phandom managed to turn into a sex meme…but no one is surprised by that now, are they?

- i need to know why that stock photo exists in the first place…also, why the hell was Phil wearing sandals in November?

- (bloopers bonus!) Phil: “phil is not on fire 8! this time its…what the tagline?” the phandom: “…gayer than ever?” Dan: “full of regrets.” the phandom: “…i mean I GUESS!!!”

- (bloopers bonus!) everything about this blooper reel just confirms even more solidly that Dan is the biggest Phil fan in the world. i’m not gonna wax poetic about the compliments or the comparisons to sunshine or anything else, because at this point is it really necessary? no. i thought not.

and there we have it. just in time for PINOF 9 to be released, a full (and much more in depth than intended) recap of the saga thus far…wake me up when Gamingmas starts, cuz after this video comes out, i’m gonna need a solid week of sleep
