ooooo hoohoo this is going to be interesting me thinks! finally got a moment to sit down, so im going to knock out from requests yahoo! still taking requests lesgo! written as neither explicitly creepypasta or marble hornets, but tagged as both (break dances) tim and brians parts a little shorter than their counterparts, which.. was unintentional.. sobs..

TIM:

maybe its because i struggle with writing tim in love, but i think he would be tense around you. i was originally going to say awkward, but that doesnt seem quite right... he doesnt avoid you, or treat you any different... but you can tell that theres something on his mind... its going to be like pulling teeth trying to get him to say something. you do find him lingering around more than usual before leaving to do something, also tends to check in on you more than before... but that doesnt mean anything, right..? i mean you guys are still only friends, right??

MASKY:

so you know how i tend to write masky to.. not really be expressive and kind of just there watching the reader, like some sort of little guard dog of sorts who probably has claimed the life of at least on person? yeah take that idea and make it a little more intense because uh oh! hes now starting to have feelings for you and since theyre new there hasnt been time for them to mellow out and chill! do i think he would go the yandere route with you? no, but thats simply because the admin doesnt like the yandere trope in most cases. but do i think he would stick by closer to you and make excuses to hang around you? yes. does he come off as stalkerish if we are assuming the reader and masky dont actually have a relationship? oh yeah 100% but by default i write that you guys interact before any feelings are caught.. leaves you random stuff, like gifts.. or even "offerings" in your room to try to appeal to you and keep your attention. does get a little possessive about you, though

BRIAN:

i think out of the four hes the most open and loose with things, but thats only because of his more easy going and jokester nature (at least according to the silly wiki im reading and what i remember of him). basks in the fact that he can make you laugh and smile, i think thats something really important for him in general when it comes to you but i think it becomes an even bigger deal for him when he starts catching feelings for you. i also think out of the four hes the most likely to tell you about his feelings!

HOODIE:

more mellowed out version of masky, still carries some of brians boldness, i think. probably the third most likely to open up about his feelings, behind tim and before masky. also leaves you little gifts and such in your house somewhere for you to find, though i think he makes a game of it. masky leaves them in plain sight, while hoodie is going to make you look for it. more touchy than usual, tends to hold on longer when you guys share a hug or you pass something to him. also physically stands closer to you than before. the lingering stares. stuff like that. you probably think hes mad at you thanks to the mask and his intimidating height, but rest assured hes just trying to find the best opening to ask you to be his

yesterday i wrote a scene where jade wasnt a plot device and was left the hell alone in A6A5 because this being dave and jade’s last proper conversation in years made me sad and i wanted to see them reunite properly. i mixed a bit of narration in too even though it was rare around this point in the comic but its just to paint a better picture. also i wouldnt mind feedback on character voice (it’s important to me that the dialogue sounds believable)

[3 years are over, everyone is in the new session. The prospit ship is on LOMAX, as is everyone who arrived on the meteor, safely warped by Jade onto LOMAX as well. Jade has banished B2 Jack to the Furthest Ring already. She hasn't seen her friends in 3 years, not to mention she never met the trolls in person yet.]

[Jade teleports to LOMAX where John was talking with the meteor crew. Her eyes widen when she sees the trolls, giving everyone a greeting. Jade waves to the trolls.]

You’ll have time to catch up with them later. First you want to reconvene with Rose and Dave.

Bido is gonna be the show stealer here isnt he. I wanna know what his relationships and general opinions are towards the other characters that end up in this main group of yours

cracks my knuckles (and also thank you so much for sending all these i feel the spirit of Story entering me once more)

in rough order from goodest to baddest:

greed: i could write entire essays about greed and bido even just in the context of what little we see of their relationship in canon but suffice it to say things are complicated in there. on the one hand theyre undeniably close. even disregarding how close i think they were before, just by process of elimination at the start of this theyre each flat out the most important person in each others life. bido has incredible depths of trust and admiration and care and Yearning for greed and greed in return also trusts bido completely, admires him, and loves him in his own "when i call you my possession it definitely definitely definitely doesnt mean my bff" way.

...the problem here is that on the other hand, he did tell bradley during the fight in the sewers that none of his henchmen are his friends. and bido heard that. and greed doesnt tell lies. Whoops.

having all his friends murdered, on its own, is pretty detrimental to greeds progress towards admitting (to himself as well as others) the One Big Thing. the good thing about this is that at least he does still have a guy left who he cares about enough to value HIS feelings on the subject, but the problem is dragging those feelings out into the open in the first place, and bido is going to have to be the one to do it. godspeed.

mei: she comes barreling into his life right as hes in the process of lighting the match to burn all his bridges. needless to say that match winds up tossed into the river. no one is immune. he hasnt gotten along with many kids in the past but mei is polite and earnest enough that he very quickly gets attached and starts thinking of her as part of the group, no matter how bad the fear gets that now he has someone else to lose.

everyone in this group has strong similarities that i think make them really good as a team, and with mei and bido, they each have baseline-quiet personalities interrupted by strong outbursts of emotion, especially getting really mad when they sense an injustice. theyre also both hopeless romantics and optimists at heart, even though bidos had decades to get jaded by his experiences and try to couch his hopes in realism, and mei sort of brings that back out in him, the realization that maybe the world Can be a better place. and in turn he teaches her that sometimes you have to hedge your expectations and work with what youve got. balance......

scar: so. scars got some Hangups, around chimeras. one of the first scenes i pictured when i was brainstorming this was bido and scar discussing nina, and bido bringing his own perspective on what he did that wouldnt really be what scar expected. everything about bido kind of throws scar off a little bit. he isnt sure what to make of him, whether to feel pity or disgust or?? ?compassion? (he is so burnt out on compassion but he cant help it either) (neither of them can help it)

in the end getting to know bido helps scar to realize that despite whats been done to him hes still just. A Guy. and in doing so helps him along the long road to accepting that he, too, is just A Guy.

yoki: bido does not like yoki. yoki is both all things that grate on him in a person (acts like hes still rich, snobby, selfish) and at the same time way too similar to himself for his own liking (weird little man, complains a lot, always scurrying about). he makes him self-conscious in a way he does not like at All. unfortunately for bido yoki (at some point along the line that im still not 100% solid on) decides inexplicably that he has to be Nice to bido and it drives him up the wall because he thinks hes patronizing him but its actually because i thought making yoki the ignored one-sided third point on a love triangle would be really funny.

marcoh: oh he likes marcoh even less than yoki. bidos experiences have created in him a serious distrust of any and all doctors, whether theyve been forced to quit the profession or not, and especially ones associated with the government. marcohs sadsack attitude does not endear him to bido at all and he spends most of his time glaring at or avoiding him. eventually he gets used to him being around, at least enough to stop registering him as a threat, and i do want them to talk at least once, but the two of them are probably the weakest bond in the group all things considered.

i hope very strongly that my bido characterization is enough to make people as excited about him as i am......maybe i can pull in some new bido fans with this. thats really like a solid 80% of the goal here

this is a different anon from before but how to stop feeling things for someone you wont ever be with? ik im likely going to be single for whatever portion of my life hasnt already been wasted and in the long run i really do not care if for instance my fs meets someone else yet its always that feeling like i have too much regret about my life as it is.

it does and doesnt feel important to date if that makes sense? maybe if things had panned out differently or better i wouldnt feel this way about relationships but honest to god it was like my birth chart gave me skin issues from the very start just to make me feel worse about my appearance. and i really cannot stand needles or any sort of skin care procedure type thing whatever its called like the ones they do in south korea cause i dont think that would make me feel any better yaknow? like putting on makeup would make my skin feel so much worse or id probs get more acne and other issues with applying the amount that folk need nowadays. i wouldnt look good with or without makeup. but it really feels like my birth chart set me up for failure in so many areas bruh, id either like a refund or an exit button.

if its not the fact that im too sensitive for social gatherings or others energies affect me a lot then its something else like being too quiet or not having enough confidence to go for something while i still could yaknow? sorry for rambling but your replies are so relatable and i love your kpop readings!

To stop feeling the way you feel? Well I struggle with that too so I am sorry I won’t have meaningful advices 🥲 my anxiety doesn’t help me to get rid of past feelings and my current ones. Maybe let time do its work and focus on your well being. To be honest, I had a crush on/was attracted to a guy but everything was messy within me, so eventually I didn’t want to know of him any longer but it still didn’t stop me to feel the way I did about him but I still didn’t reached him or looked at him. I saw him some months ago after one/two years of not seeing him at all and I felt weird but neutral enough to ignore as much as I could he presence, but I don’t love him the same way. I might still love him but you know, I couldn’t care less how he feels about me and how I might feel about him anymore. It took me time, efforts and compassion with myself (which I don’t really have most of the time) but you’ll eventually get there or nearly there.

Usually what I do, work on myself and keep going with my life, block the person on the internet, ignore him irl, not focusing on their presence and how they make me feel at the moment, focusing on my friends/what I am doing. So basically self-discipline. It’s not always easy but it’s worth it!

Additional : I am not that friend with astro you know. Soo i’ll tell you « stop believing in it to begin with » because if you base you whole life on it then anon I won’t help you because you will just not listen to me as you’ll only believe your astro placements. That’s toxic for yourself and others. If you want that help with astro then seek an astrologer but even though some could be really trustworthy, you’ll in a way get « scammed » because that’s not what astro can really guide here. That’s what you only have to deal with and find for yourself. Astro could tell you « applying that type of cream is good » but it’s like tarot : it’s interpretation and personal. Why don’t you see a dermatologist instead? Or try natural plants? Do your own things and/or ask for [direct] advices from people around you or on the internet? You could even ask in my blog and people could give you advices! I could even ask my cousins that know more than I do and share it here!

yesss thank you for asking!! I don't have like a huge amount thought out but this is what I've got so far. CW: mentions of suicidal ideology etc., mentions of bullying. all the content under the cut cause it gets long but tldr; izuku never goes to UA, never gets OFA, AFO was already defeated, shinsou (adopted by aizawa and yamada) follows the same path as in canon, later becomes an emt and in high school starts being a vigilante, izuku is a pain in aizawa's ass, meets shinsou starts dating and shinsou realizes that his bf is a vigilante and the meet the parents is very awkward bc aizawa recognizes the little shit he has to chase down often

basically, midoriya izuku is nothing if not stubborn and determined. even through relentless bullying, suicide baiting, and even being turned down by his idol he still never Really gave up his dreams to be a hero. i think he went through a REALLY rough period after all might told him no (he also never saw the sludge monster get bakugou so no power offer... not to mention for simplicity's sake afo is defeated before this). also vague mention of maybe he had a VERY BAD DAY or just a fucking horrible one but no injury minus that run in with the sludge monster. not necessary but eh you see it how you want to there. either way he never applies to UA. he goes to a normal high school and has normal aspirations and inko while relieved her son is choosing a less dangerous route feels fucking horrible because izuku just isnt himself. second or third year, though, he takes a 180. he's happier, he's working out a lot, he's investing in his health with food, and he has aspirations to work as an emt later. inko is relieved. unkown to her, izuku is out there fighting the good fight as a vigilante. he spent a little too much time online, got inspired by underground heroes like eraserhead and known vigilantes and said FUCK THIS and decided he's gunna be a vigilante. he is sort of not doing anything illegal but the whole crime fighting even without a quirk isnt like... that legal. he doesnt give a shit. even if eraserhead is highly concerned and also too tired to deal with this. there's a begrudging relationship and izuku becomes such a little shit. izuku helps him out and saves his ass at least once and aizawa doesnt arrest him so all is well. izuku also uses his job as an emt to his advantage for his vigilante work

now for shinsou, he follows basically the same path as in canon. he's also adopted by aizawa and yamada and is more than happy to have a little sister in eri. once he goes pro, hitoshi is obviously an underground hero like eraserhead. he has heard of the vigilante dekiru (i mean who hasnt really but aizawa complains about him enough) but has yet to actually SEE the guy. before he meets the vigilante, though, he has a pretty rough fight with some villains. when the emts arrive on the seen who is there but izuku. his hero worship has died down a LOT and he can be professional as he cares for hitoshi but hitoshi can def tell this guy is practically vibrating once he makes sure he's all good. he's cute and sweet and blushes a deep crimson when hitoshi points out his excitement and admits that he's surprised he has any fans to begin with. i mean the point was to stay unknown anyway. izuku shyly admits that he's been following him and his class since they first showed up on their first year sports festival. if hitoshi keeps vague tabs on the very caring and cute emt that's his business alone. funny enough izuku just so happens to run into him a few more times on the job. im not sure when they start dating. maybe it's around here? they meet off the job and continue to hit it off and then they go out finally. maybe it's later but either works

finally, hitoshi meets dekiru. him and izuku have been dating for a while. it's nice and he hasn't been happier and his friends are pestering the shit out of him to meet the mysterious boyfriend and his dads are also nudging him to invite him over to dinner one day (eri is instant as well). but hitoshi gets his shit ROCKED during a fight. the villains knew his quirk and anticipated it and while he's normally on his A game, he still gets fucked up. and then in comes dekiru saving the day as hitoshi lays there bleeding and concussed. the voice muffled by the mask is soothing and familiar and the sturdy hands are caring and gentle as they move from his face down his body as the vigilante checks him over for all of his injuries and he's having a hard time paying attention to what dekiru says but all he can think about is izuku and says as much as the vigilante looks at him with worry and calls for an ambulance. izuku is there later at the hospital and so are his dads and his sister and izuku and aizawa are sharing some odd looks and this was NOT how he wanted the meet the parents to go but oh fucking well... it takes some healing and a lot of dot connecting to make the conclusion of who izuku is on his off time and that explains the bruising and scars and random injuries that his boyfriend waves off constantly... he's not surprised per say and he isnt going to scold izuku or break up with him just a little upset he never told him.

the next big thing is introducing him to his friends which... well he hopes wont be more awkward or a mess than izuku meeting his dads. (spoilers: it's a shitshow and also hilarious in equal parts)

anyway if anyone wants to write a fic about this PLEASE do (and it would be great if you credited me with the idea) i would LOVE to read it and draw more art for it and even collab on ideas etc if you were interested. im shit at follow-through when it comes to writing and love reading ppls stuff

have been thinking lately about how messy it would be if senior dies while fred and fp are married to mary and gladys, and this is the timeline where fred and fp never hooked up or have even really come out to anyone let alone each other, but theyre still best friends etc etc. so senior dies and fp hasnt spoken to him in years but hes still super fucked up over it and obviously freds going to the funeral to support fp. and after the funeral they go off on their own cuz gladys and mary have the kids who are still super young, maybe babies, and freds just trying to be a good friend, making sure fp doesnt fly off the deep end as he's prone to doing. and maybe they end up at the construction trailer because its the only place they have to be alone right now and fps not really interested in being around anyone else. and he's been sort of distant the whole day, which was to be expected. fred didnt think much of it besides him being in grief. but then theyre in the trailer alone and fp starts talking about how there were things he felt he could never do with his father still alive and now that hes gone he wants to do them just to stick it to him, and its all very vague and freds not really catching on until fps mouth is on his desperately. and of course theres a part of fred thats telling him they shouldnt be doing this because theyre married and fathers and fps not in his right mind this is all just a horrible mistake. but theres another part thats been wanting this since they were kids but he shoved it so far back in his mind he never even considered it a possibility and now that its (literally) fallen into his lap... he's having a real hard time resisting

so of course they end up fucking and when they go home after to their wives its all deeply shameful and now theyve got this secret to keep and its totally only gonna be a one time thing so theres no point in bringing it up anyway right...

SCREAMING AND THRASHING!!!!!

The part of fred that's wanted it since they were kids.... 😩😩😩😩😵😵😵😵😵🥵😖🤧Of course it was just a one time thing but what if.... He can't stop thinking about it...... Like at all...... 😔 And now fred has to come to terms with being into guys while being burdened with the knowledge that fp is into guys and they are both into each other and yet..... And fps dad just died so it is not an appropriate time to bring these things up even if he wanted to...... And he has a little baby he has to take care of...... Well. I'll keep it rich and brief

- he thinks that vaccines are bad (because someone told him so once), prompting you to then say "Dont.. dont you get the flu shot every year?" to which he replies "well YEAH cause I dont wanna get SICK." This is because he is a goofy funny loveable man

- He is very kind and generally open-minded (when he remembers to be) and pretty gregarious and DEFINITELY optimistic. And he respects deeply the importance of being authentic.

- He’s good with having friends he sees frequently and having friends that he hasnt seen in years and the time gap doesnt alter the relationship in any way .. He doesnt feel like he’s losing friends when it’s been a while. Which is good because he has many friends in many odd places. He’s got connections. He knows people

- Yes he uses 50s greaser slang. Yes Akari has picked up some choice phrases from him that she uses better (negative perspiration baby....).

- Yes he knows things about cars.

- He’s at this point in his life where he has romance woes. It was fun being passed around / passing everyone around but, when he gets to be pushing 30 he starts to think, maybe i should settle down with a life partner and have a family...? But truth be told he’s not yet ready for either of those things. When he is ready he needs to end up with Lisa I think (she has romance troubles to mirror his in that people keep leaving, in fact he aggravated that himself by never fully committing to their budding romance, even almost severing their lovely friendship in his anxiety) (it’s in their natal charts it’s just the way that their lives are)

- His full name is Allan Alan Allen. None of his bullies ever touched on this

- Really he got bullied because in the 6th grade he developed a C R I P P L I N G obsession with the musical GREASE. Oh it was bad man. He still likes it even but now he can appreciate it as a work of art and of the times rather than just, like, guys in blue jeans dancing on cars

- He has no siblings.

- Lisa is his BFF and Robby is his intermittent roommate and Akari is his bro and Taylor used to be his roommate and Allan is convinced that he has an older-brother relationship with Taylor but Taylor doesnt feel that way and sort of thinks that Allan is overberaring and annoying and he doesnt know why he sends him a birthday card in the mail every year. And Allan knows everyone else too because he’s a social butterfly that way. He is the Only Person In Roy’s Life who has been Consistently Present and Nice to him

on rodion's side, it started out purely from morbid curiosity. he'd never seen the man out of his mask and he just really wanted to see under it. he had heard about the torture from bale, given strict instructions to not mention it, and he just wanted to see if it was really That bad (it is)

on nikto's side, while there is real desire for rodion, at the start his main reasoning for focusing on him is in how rodion reacts. he likes how initially rodion pushes him away for trying too hard to fuck because it gives nikto a reason to berate himself for being undesirable. before being nikto, sex was easy for him to get. he was handsome and charismatic. now, hes not only disfigured, but keeps himself coated in heavy ass, scary military gear. hes got a staring problem. hes overtly violent. generally unpleasant.

once they DO start its purely a shaky friends with benefits situation. rodion still does not know much about nikto apart from how he works and that hes standoffish. but hes just interesting, and rodion thinks he can dig his way into his personal life.

meanwhile nikto is still just. obsessing over the differences between them. rodion is so clean and fresh compared to him. he hasnt really been through anything tough (that nikto knows of). he hasnt had his mind fucked with and his body torn apart But. he still wants nikto. he wants this, in nikto's mind, disgusting old man.

theyre both REALLY fucking stubborn. like really stubborn. nikto is stubborn about not exposing any emotions he has and letting himself sort of rot where he stays. rodion is stubborn about getting nikto to open up and to take better care of himself.

rodion will keep a mental note of when nikto eats, if he can. if his room is cold, he'll give nikto one of his blankets. when he goes to the store, rodion will ask nikto what he wants first. even if he says nothing rodion will end up getting him something. he puts the weight of nikto's mental health on his shoulders unintentionally.

the deeper they get into their odd relationship the more nikto has troubling thoughts about rodion. constant thoughts. obsessive. he takes to stealing things of rodion's like a magpie, like his pillowcase or bottles of cologne. drinks rodion has already opened and drank the majority of. bubblegum hes spit out.

nikto also dreams of rodion and him. dreams of rodion being home with him, in a real home, with his real family. they make him wake up in a cold sweat, sometimes screaming.

rodion Is too nice, too sweet. nikto sometimes lashes out at this. physically, literally, pushing rodion away from him. this does work. it will keep rodion away from him. for a time. rodion understands the danger, but hes tough, and hes more focused on the mental anguish associated with the violence. this is not to say he appreciates being hurt. he does not let nikto off easy for it.

rodion is more hurt, honestly, by the lack of reciprocation he gets from nikto. he doesnt expect much, but when nikto acts cold after maybe exposing a little bit of himself he feels discouraged. he can tell he means a lot to nikto, but nikto wont let himself admit that bit and it pisses rodion off. any argument they have that rodion starts stems from this

rodion normally tells his mother everything, theyre very close. he Will Not tell her about nikto. nikto knows this and takes it to heart, but ultimately understands. if rodion has a problem with nikto he'll typically end up talking it out with syd, who tells him he deserves better, but also gets that the dick is insane. bale also gets the dick is insane but PLEASE be safe by god. minotaur does NOT get it at all he does not like it once he notices it (last because he always notices things last)

its not all dire. rodion jokes with nikto like he jokes with everyone else. nikto genuinely thinks hes funny. nikto has also been known to crack at joke to rodion

its a lot of effort for nikto to feel comfortable sharing a bed with rodion (esp given his night terrors and sleepwalking) but he does sleep better when he shares a space with rodion.

the dick Is. Insane. Off the wall insane. rodion is pretty vanilla and nikto is just............................... not so its a lot of new things for rodion. not going into specifics. but its fun (insane)

ok so for clarity im making this post in two parts because i had originally saved the original post as a draft but now something else has happened to complicate the situation but i feel like you still need to see the original post to know my feelings over time

[original post, drafted on august 29th:]

anyway i need a bit of a reality check on this like am i being weird and overthinking it or what

so my store has traditionally been all or almost all entirely women. the most we ever had was like 1, at most 2 guys working replenishment. we’ve had several long stretches where there was not a single male employee

my new SM is, well, a man. and we have many many problems with him for reasons that i wouldnt say are sexism but is mostly just that he’s a bad manager and the store is falling apart because of it and we’re bearing the brunt of it. especially weird dynamic because hes a 50 year old man and the entire rest of the store’s staff are all young women, at most mid 20s, and a sizeable number still literally in high school. our two full time managers, one in her mid 30s and the other in her 60s, have left for various reasons, which means that there is no sort of mediator to advocate for us anymore. its just this middle aged man overseeing a bunch of young women. add on how overbearing and bad he is as a manager in general and its like toxic lol

and so now hes finally started hiring for seasonal and its…. As far as i can tell, literally the only people calling the store saying they have interviews, have been guys.

and so i feel weird, and i feel weird thst i feel weird about it, that we’re now hiring like 5 men. but i also feel kinda justified in feeling weird because i almost feel like this is the SM pulling more weird shit. that he doesnt like this all female dynamic and is now trying to like, idk

IT FEELS WEIRD verbalizing it but hes a very condescending guy and the store is falling apart and so it almost feels like hes now giving up our current all female staff and trying to bring men in to fix it?? like he cant fire any of us women bc we’ve been here longer than him but now hes gonna bring in his own people for the first time and its all men? fundamentally changing the dynamic of the store that has been here for years longer than he’s even been with the company, and to further establish a disconnect between him and his young female staff ?????

am i overthinking it and reading condescension/superiority/whatever the word is into this. like i feel weird for being put off over hiring more than 1 dude per season but also this SM is backhanded like that so i really cant discount that there might be some weird vibes or motives behind this

so now i just found out that this guy, who was literally the guy in the break room having his first day on august 29th, is being considered to be promoted to a manager

which is killing me because theres been all this talk among the managers for literally almost a year now about making me a manager and ive been indecisive because i dont know if i want to or not but ultimately its just been a “what if” situation to me because the actual SM hasnt said a word to me about it! he has never given me an offer. he has never even vaguely mentioned it to me. the only reason i know about it is bc im friends with the other managers and they tell me that hes been thinking about it for a while now

and my framing manager told me that this new guy was being considered as a new manager and i said “well. im actually kind of offended now that hes only been here for a week. meanwhile here i am” and she said “didnt SM give you an offer though?” and i told her that no the SM has not uttered a word to me about this and she was shocked

and its just. this kid has been here literally five fucking days? what the fuck? what the hell is going on. like yeah i am kind of offended actually. i still dont know if i would accept if given the offer but my indecision comes from whether i’d get an adequate raise and i cant come to a final decision without being able to negotiate my raise, which i cant do that if i havent been given the offer !!!! ive been here over two years i know pretty much everything in this store im cross trained on everything and everyone else in this store looks up to me as a non-manager superior and ive been told multiple times by the non-sm managers AND my non-manager coworkers that i should become a manager. meanwhile this guy has been here five days, ive interacted with him for two minutes, and of those moments i spent near him he barely spoke a word to me, and im sure he doesnt have the trust + camaraderie with my other coworkers yet as well, and yet SM wants him to become a manager like five days into him being hired ?!?!?

and again i dont know if i’d accept so thats why i feel kind of stupid for being offended but also like it’d still be nice to have offer ! especially compared to the guy who just started five days ago!!

gonna get in detail about this but also understand that i consistently orbit around all of the concepts i propose here because i’m at a level of gender you need a master’s degree to understand

scout: if he lived in 2022 he would identify as gnc gay trans man but instead he has so much gender in 1972 that we’re still reeling. not even transitioning medically but the most Some Guy that anyone has ever been

soldier: so fucking transgender he makes jane seem like a male name. so fucking transgender that he had a deadname and jane is his new name and that’s pretty masc of him

pyro: literally give up now. more gender than anyone on the planet

demo: trans man obvi but actually hes the equivalent of the joke a friend of mine makes of “transitioning into a cisgender man”. like 5% gnc but it’s a very nice 5%

heavy: result of the first recorded use of testosterone for gender transition (because medic offered)

engineer: world champion ‘literally didnt even take T or get surgeries he just looks like that because he’s over the age of 35’. short kings never die. also this might sound odd but i feel like he’d be a trans dude and would also in a scenario where it’s possible i think he would really enjoy being a drag king too. idk

medic: invented all trans medicine and has been using the others as guinea pigs for the new methods he’s invented. t4t gay man. tacks on the ‘he did his own top surgery’ joke for OSHA compliance purposes.

sniper: this is such a personal take but he’s a trans dude who would still use the term ‘butch’ to describe himself because that’s an important part of his gender identity still after this long.

spy: genderfluid because just this fucking once i’m giving him nice things in the form of The Actual Ideal Scenario. pyro invented Good Gender and spy is performing heist movies to recover that Good Gender

my credentials include being objectively right. as for amount of transition and duration of it medically or surgically etc etc i can’t stress enough that i’m not gonna specify because,, in my personal opinion, assigning things like ‘scout got top surgery but not bottom surgery and hasnt started t!’ is the sort of thing that pretty heavily preys on stereotypes and this assumption that performing masculinity includes like, checklists? honestly the way their gender intersects with their characters vis a vis their relationship with gender and masculinity doesn’t necessarily have to change at all based on whether they’re trans or cis. in my personal opinion, inclusion of the fact that they’re trans—and where they’re at in any potential transition they go through as a result—is something that can add interesting details and textures to their personality and the way they present themselves to others and why, but i maintain that being trans alone isn’t even necessarily the most significant qualifier to the way they present themselves.

A connection I drew between chapter 6 and 18

CW: some swearing (my mistake) and Chapter 18 Spoilers!!

This is real long and not beta-read please bear with me

I noticed some similarities between Kagiura's state of mind in the first six chapters of HRKG and Hirano’s state of mind since chapter 15 here.

So for the most part, volume 4 (chapters 16b-18) has been focused on how Hirano is working through their new relationship after chapter 15 (ten second touch, being honest with each other, etc.) And Hirano has recently BEEN more in touch with his feelings and realizing different things based on other people's input (am I addicted to Kagi-kun) and his own conclusions, and Kagiura's wish to be equals (the needy situation lol).

PLEASE NOTE: Okay so I was kind of wrong about the next paragraph because in chapter 14 he tells Ichinose he wants to stay with Kagiura because being with him helps him do his best. So I'm gonna keep this paragraph in because he technically hasn't confronted why SINCE then but it's kind of a useless segment at this point. My real point should've be that Hirano hasn't confronted why being with Kagiura helps him do his best. Like why exactly is that. Even then he kind of says that during chapter 15 too, seeing kagi works hard makes him wanna do the same? But still. Ignore the next paragraph if you please, it won't matter much).

And because of a lot of those factors, Hirano has really realized that he wants to stay roommates with Kagiura no matter what. He hasnt really acknowledged why recently, I believe his last acknowledgement to why was shortly after the confession when the whole idea came to be (him saying it'd just be easier, that they should sort out their feelings still, that it's easiest for hirano blah blah chapter 10 and 11) but now that chapter 15 has hit we all know that's bullshit and one of Hirano's driving forces is his happiness with Kagiura, which yeah could be considered an acknowledgement to why but to me it's not really direct? If that makes sense. He hasn't really said "I want us to stay roommates because..." he just DOES. Which isn't a problem honestly but to me it's very telling of Hirano's current mindset and I relate it to Kagiura in the beginning of HRKG's storyline.

So in chapter six, Niibashi brings up an excellent point (as always ily niibashi) in how Kagiura sees this whole "I want to get married" as a means to an end. He's like, that way, I can stay with him, I get to be with him all the time, "only I can have him" whatever whatever

Like Niibashi says, he thinks of it as being taken away which can happen anyway, but yeah, for Kagiura before this chapter, that was pretty much it. "I don't have to stop being with him if I marry him" kind of mindset. Based off his parents. That's important.

And it wasn't until Niibashi brought up some of the other aspects of romance (which is what Kagiura thought of it to be when he said he was in love with Hirano) that Kagiura really considered that his romance goes deeper than just being with him all the time and making him his, "marriage" as he thinks of it. Kagiura also wants to kiss him and touch him and everything else.

Kagiura bases his idea of marriage solely off of his parents. He doesn't talk about seeing other couples or reading manga and his relationship in middle school was superficial. He said he didn't see his parents kiss often, so he didn't think about kissing hirano. It's more like how his parents are really close, like best friends, and he's like that with Hirano (they are totally best friends and I love it) and that's part of the reason feelings started to develop.

Okay I'm moving on from that to come to the real point of this. Kagiura's romantic ideals are based off of his parents, and his parents are married and like best friends, so he that's how he had seen his relationship with Hirano going because yeah. That's what he thought he wanted.

Now Hirano on the other hand is like the exact opposite in regards to ideals. Hirano doesn't have an ideal like Kagiura for a romantic partner. He hasn't thought about it, he's never had a girlfriend even, he doesn't talk about his parents affections towards each other, etc. His ideals are based on his own conclusions, we can guess, and we also know that Kagiura is his ideal to an extent. That one extra when Kagiura asked "what's your ideal marriage partner" and this man said "someone like you". So yeah, Kagiura is technically his ideal, which is important.

Now we also know that Hirano is not only opening up to Kagiura's ideals to give him a chance, he's opening his own. Because things are not the way they were which we know is what he said many times that he wanted (post confession he says and implies that he wants things to stay the same) but now he's open to change and is enjoying some of that change. Much of that change he's actually enjoying.

So Hirano's changed, and his ideals have changed, and now as they are, Hirano's insanely invested in staying roommates with Kagiura. And I think that where he is now is similar as to where Kagiura was pre chapter 6 (that we really SAW in chapter 6). Basically, hirano also thinks of it as a means to an end in a way. He doesn't think of the after or what it means that they stay roommates. Hirano just wants to stay roommates him, he wants to see his hard work up close and personal, etc. Etc, and to do that, he wants to stay roommates with him. He doesn't think of staying with the person he enjoys being with all the time and wants to continue to be with as marriage like Kagiura does, or did. He thinks of it as just that. Staying with his physically. Being roommates with him again. Hell, in chapter 10 the thought of him graduating as they were kind of hurt him. He really doesn't want to part from him.

OKAY SO

TLDR kind of and a way of really organizing what I just said, it's basically like this

Kagiura pre-chapter 6: "I enjoy being with him and want to stay with him" --> "I want to marry him" based on his experience (parents)

Hirano present chapter 18: "I enjoy being with him and want to stay with him" --> "I want to stay roommates with him [so badly]" based on his lack of experience

Like Hirano's is honestly just as cut and dry as Kagiura's was. The difference is that Kagiura initially viewed it as romance because of his parents, and that's why it developed further as romance, but Hirano doesn't view it as romance at all, so he doesn't view it as such as it develops because currently there's no reason to. He's just doing what he has a desire to do and doesn't feel the need to attach anything to it, which is why part of me thinks that if he's gonna develop these romantic feelings and start realizing it is that someone's gonna have to confront him about it similar to how Niibashi confronted Kagiura about it. "Do you want to kiss him" probably won't work because the answer will probably be a fat NO lmao (at least for now),

But I shall present to you the fact that Hirano knows they touch all the time and to an extent, enjoys it (e.g. patting his head which he hasn't done since chapter 15 ("why did I try to pat his head just then") what's that about), and in chapter 18 when their fingers touch he's a little confused, maybe disappointed that Kagiura got so jumpy, maybe because he's realizing the difference in feelings that they have still, or maybe because touching Kagiura is so natural that the fact that it makes Kagiura jump is kind of unsettling to him.

The point I'm making here is that for someone to approach Hirano's current mindset to help him see it from a different lens, they can't use (solely or really explicit) romantic examples like Niibashi did for Kagiura because that's not how Hirano's seeing it. They can be implicit or rather something that could be both platonic or romantic, but it can't be "do you want to kiss him" until he realizes the possibility that his feelings ARE romantic and he lives that for a while. I don't really know what that could be yet but yeah.

Point is, I think currently, pre chapter 6 "I want to marry him" Kagiura and "I want to stay roommates with him" Hirano are on the same level of awareness. Which, actually, means we're getting somewhere.

I'm so sorry that this is long and if none of this made sense. But chapter 18 made me roll onto the floor and think of this, mostly because we all see the parallels of chapter 6 and 18 (the covers, and the last few panels of their hands touching or near touching and it causes something to happen blah blah story for another time).

Since kings tide ive been trying to figure out how everyone fits in the five man band archetype. My final roster was tentatively luz as the leader, hunter as the lancer, amity as the smart one, willow as the strong one, and gus as the heart. However i also moved a bunch of these kids around while i was considering.

Bc while amity is book smart she hasnt really done too much strategizing. Hunter and luz are also both rly smart and are researching magic. And dont forget gus the prodigy with his funky illusion spells. So any of them could be the smart guy

Similarly while hunter has a lot of current parallels with luz amity was there at the start as a rival. And hunter and amity parallel each other a lot too so THEY can also be each others lancers.

Willow is emphasized as being a lot more confident with her magic now and as strong, physically and magically. But hunters still the best at combat out of them and confronts most problems first. Amitys also pretty strong and again gus with his funky illusions

Gus is absolutely adored by 3/4 of the rest of the group and i hesitate to make him the heart bc he and amity...dont really have a relationship. Willow is everyones first real friend so she could fit that role i guess. And luz is the one that brought all of them together so she could also be the heart

Even the leader position is questionable like luz is the main character and most things the squad does is partly because of her adventures. But also they really emphasized willow coming into her own as a leader. Hunter was a coven head for a while and he takes the lead a lot when the squad does things. But idk i feel like he should be like. The vice leader and not the main one. Which i guess is technically a lancer?

But anyway now that ive seen that clip of season three i can confidently say that i have no idea how to sort these guys into a six man band now. What is the sixth role even? Oh except for vee. I know for sure vee is the smart guy in this one. The group has three collective brain cells now that theyve made it into the human realm and vee has all three of them

Kat is a good possesive mean girl, I can buy that she's had some really messy relationships in the past which made her act this way now and despite being "enemies", MC is really the only one from the Villa she's willing to show her soft side.

But Arlo ? Girl has gone off her meds lmao. B*tch doesn't need a chill pill, she needs an elephant tranquilliser at this rate.

I've got LOTS of thoughts on Miss Kitty Kat!! Here's the difference between Kat and Arlo...

At the very start no matter who try to couple up with (Alfie/Eddie) Kat steals them. If you choose Eddie there's literally no reason for her to steal him and for you both to be on subs bench but they wrote this in to show you that no matter what Kat is not MCs friend. Then when the kissing challenge came about, she purposely kissed Suresh to wind MC up. She was after Finn ATP why kiss Suresh? Even when she was "helping" MC with Alfie and eavesdropping she had to tell them that MC was snoring like some sort of animal. Why?? SHES A PICK ME! Even in her vulnerable, softer moments Kat finds a way of being extremely selfish and hurtful. When she saw MC and Suresh have their moment, she knew that whatever it was, it was complicated. Even if your MC didnt kiss him it was up to her to tell Alfie what was going on. The way Kat just unnecessarily offered it up to the villa, knowing that it would hurt Arlo + Alfie too was just self-centered. AND THEN TO KISS ALFIE ON TOP OF IT!!! KAT AINT IT. SORRY! PLUS MC HAS KEPT KAT'S SECRET OF DOING BITS WITH FINN IN THE SHOWER....HASNT TOLD A SOUL! AND THIS IS HOW SHE REPAYS HER??

Now for Arlo...she is coming into the villa late, having to make a place for herself and we assume she would've been watching at home. She wouldve seen Suresh grafting on MC and even if you're not on his route and you deny all of his advances, he still is chasing her the entire time before Arlo comes in. That has to be in the back of her mind. Then when they're coupled the man continues to talk about MC and how he's over her and wants to move on with Arlo, but then his actions prove otherwise. Arlo is left confused, which is why she's also constantly asking MC how she feels about Suresh because she doesn't buy that this whole thing between them is over. Which...fair enough! This situation is super messy. I think Arlo's been dealt a crap hand whereas Kat willingly chooses to be shitty to people for sport.

Okay so first off, idk if its alright I do smth like this or not, if it is please let me know-

ALSO- I wanted to try my hand at other characters too! So I kinda just yeeted some of my/your ocs into a wheel and hoped for the best lol

Anyway-

Marinus and Tiam:

As much as I joke around that he'd just violently grab Tiam and drink from the little straw on his head, (,,, which technically isnt a joke bcs he would and then say sorry while feeling really bad, especially if he left bruises,,,) Marinus would definitely still try to be careful to not hurt Tiam real bad- he'd also always thank him for the drink and be apologetic if he scared/hurt him, unless,,,, yk,,,, you like that sort of thing,,,,,,

Bullies? No problem! With Marinus by your side they probably already went "missing" got eaten but if you asked if he'd seen them, he'd just go "Nope, no idea where they could be :)" and then resume gremlin thoughts

Marinus will sometimes forget certain words from time to time, considering his mom didnt even really want him to get an education and just wanted him to be like a feral siren-

Expect minor things like "Holy shit, Tiam, its a bunch of quack quacks!" And they're freaking ducks-

And speaking of ducks- Marinus hates birds (mainly seagulls/pelicans) but ducks are an exception because "They're the only birds that are nice to me" so I dont think he'd get along too well with winged characters like Rubina-😔✌️

MARINUS WOULD NEVER BITE, SCRATCH, HISS OR GROWL AT TIAM- Unless of course he asked him too

Marinus WOULD however h*ld h*nds (how sinful) and Tiam's crooked smiles will be met with a sharped tooth gremlin smile <3

Also yes, you are right, a LOT of characters (my own/discord friend OCS) are afraid of Marinus or wanna fight 😔🤣 (I think its funny-)

However, just because Marinus has people scared of him, doesnt mean he isnt scared of things too! And he will absolutely freak out if anyone/anything covers his mouth (actually, I think being restrained in general could go here), if someone sees him while he's in siren form, etc (I'll probably add on more another time lol)

I almost forgor to mention, but hair is kinda a big thing for sirens (at least in my head, idk if disney will take it and throw it in my face that its not 💀) so, if Mari is comfy enough, he'd definitely be letting Tiam touch his hair, style it, do whatever with it tbh lol and expect him to do the same with Tiam's! (No, he doesnt care if its sticky-)

Im starting to think of ideas that are more dating-like and idk if thats ok so next character

Momo and Mellow

OKAY so- Momo (blue haired plant baby, I have posted him here before but I need to post a ref lol- I WILL DO THAT SOON THO-) has a habit of straight up running away from people that are taller than her, I mean freaking BOLTING the moment someone bigger than 5'10 (177cm) is in her vision-

But luckily, Mildew seems to be smaller than that, so she'll at least stay! :D

In order for them to be friends tho, they'd have to interact without Dallas in the picture (another piss gremlin I have yet to post a ref of, but basically he tells Momo bs to isolate her from everyone and she'd believe it because toxic relationships✨)

Momo would be really shy at first though, but I think it could work! Like a slowburn friendship (⁠ㆁ⁠ω⁠ㆁ⁠)

Momo is a little passionate about art (maybe not enough to go into full on rambles about different styles n stuff but enough to try it out herself although she doesnt usually share her artworks) so he'd probably occasionally glance over and stare a bit if she notices him making something but looking away immediately if Mellow looks back

Dallas and Leroy

I do not know if Leroy understands that Dallas is just being a crotch gremlin because his parents spoiled him rotten (and he's also only like... 15 💀) but regardless-

Dallas would hands down find a way to try and "egg on" Leroy to do something and then play the victim card in front of Crowley like he does to all the "big spooky" OCs

Like bullying the clothes he wears when he finds out its a heating issue and not "because he dresses weird", probably like "You're telling me a little bit of sunshine is going to screw you over? Quit being so sensitive"

HOWEVER, I feel like he'd just end up annoyed at the spiteful pranks and then the tables would turn as now its Dallas being served some humble pie (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)

God…. how do i…. they have so much going on …. lets start with the basics hes her dad. Obviously. thats her dad. he was handed a baby and just went Ok!!!!!!!! and took care of her forever. thats her dad. Iris’ main, initial frame of reference for The World and Being A Person is This Fucking Guy.

There is also the fact that thru most of the games she is not Calling Him her dad </3 consequences of. him telling her hes not her dad ansbJSHJSNSJSNSJSNWJS. even still as ryuu & susato say they have a parent child relationship … for the jokes abt iris being more lkke the parent of course which Is True and a Straightforward Joke But Still Really Funny. but he still is. like. The Dad Equivalent. Her Guardian. even when not actually Her Dad. they have a mutual duty of care. Sherlock makes sure they have money to buy food & Iris actually Makes Edible Food and thats about it you know.

they have the funniest fucking dynamic. Ever,. they treat each other like Equals. they talk to each other like Colleagues. They literally try to steal money from each other. iris bullies him all of the time and he also sort of bullies her back. Iris walks around loudly announcing embarrassing facts about him in public and Sherlock yells at her about it and no one feels bad and they love each other. and she kicks him. theyre so funny

Basically just. thats her dad. they are also best friends being each others constant companions for ten years (Because he raised her from birth). they steadfastly look out and care for each other. and every morning they wake up and try to invent new ways to be mean to each other

in terms of Their Relationship Dynamic there is no way to improve upon it. there is nothing to change. theyre perfect. this is the best relationship ever. but i still of course have lots of headcanons about them. where do i even begin

for one thing as is probably already clear i thimk every day abt what capcom refuses to give us answers on: Iris’ Early Childhood and The Process Of Sherlock Raising Her. please i wanna know what that was like. And continues to be like tbh its just not something we see much bc its not relevant to ryuus side of things…… First of all: he has undeniably tried his best to take care of her and done an overall good job. look at her. Mikotoba would not have trusted sherlock with an entire fucking baby if he was not confident the man could like. Handle It. Successfully keep another human alive and make sure she comes out overall well adjusted and all that. But hes still. Sherlock Holmes (Ace Attorney Character). He. again. does not seem to have any perspective on what to prioritize. I just think he went “okay time to teach iris The Basics” and then jumped straight from “heres how to write your name” to giving her lectures on something he learned the other day about aerodynamics and skipped over a bunch of stuff in between and didn’t really realize until she, like, saw an owl and went UNAUTHORIZED FUCKING BEAST? because she was like 5 and had still never heard of an owl.

Also im glad everyone in the world independently got up and thought “he definitely took that baby to crime scenes” because he definitely took that baby to crime scenes. Like. As everyone has said 200 times. What the hell else is he gonna do? He has to take cases or he DIES. There is no one he is close enough to for him to go Hey take my baby for a while. He’s broke as fuck permanently he cant PAY someone to watch her. Come on 8 month old child who’s still figuring out how to, like, Exist, let’s go Solve A Mystery. I don’t think she’s ever, like, seen a dead body, though. It’s all in my head, you understand, I have the whole escalation of it in my mind - when shes a Really Tiny Baby he has to just focus on Watching Her and can only take the kind of cases that can be solved sitting in the living room (he is going insane), then when he gets past the “what if i stop paying attention to her for ONE SECOND and she EXPLODES” phase he can do stuff that actually requires Investigation, then the second she’s able to Talk he goes Yeah that probably means she can Help with investigations now. and shes iris so hes right. I think 1-5 is prrrrrrobably her first Murder Investigation though. shes a little girl! you don’t take a little girl to a murder scene! Except under special circumstances!

This veered in … some slightly different direction than just Their Relationship i guess but fuck dude it was fun. Like. I like them. They family. all ace attorney games kind of have a Found Family cast in the end, but they dont generally refer to characters who dont have clear cut straightforward straight up family relationships As Family, except DGS, which has ryuu explicitly call them His Family, and, and, I don’t know that the themes of The Importance Of Family & Family Being Something You Can Choose play a huge role in the story of dgs itself in most places, esp the Chosen Family bit, but its THERE, in ryuu calling the gang his wonderful family & iris adopting him and susato as her siblings & mikotoba caring for asougi like his son and Most Prominently, Iris Calling Sherlock Her Dad. which i will elaborate on the importance of in a minute but anyway i just think theyre really cute and really funny

Basically!! Returning to the point about Choosing Who Your Family Is and how Sherlock & Iris and specifically Iris calling him her dad for the first time (since we met her) is the most prominent example in the game!!!

Iris’s Whole Deal™️ is she got her World Changed by finding out sherlock wasn’t her “real” dad and her dad was Some Guy She’s Never Met and now she goes then who the fuck IS my dad? Where do I come from? Who Am I? and her Search For Her Dad, Desire To Meet Him, & Attempt To Feel Closer To Him By Reading His Notes And Putting Herself In His Shoes is like. a big part of her identity. For like maybe almost half her life up to this point too!! And …… then she gets closer & farther away & closer & farther away and she decides Susie & Ryuu r her Siblings and somewhere in all of this. decides it doesnt matter quite That much who her “Real” Dad is because shes not defined by her biological father and she already. Has a dad. cries. And. And. And because of the time she spent Not Thinking Of Sherlock As Her Dad it means hes her dad ultimately because She Decided It . not bc he or anyone else said it should be like that but bc she decided he is her dad.

So like . you know. starts sobbing in the streets. anyway they r just both very very important to each other

Its like. The ONE thing about dgs2 i remembered with Clarity. in the years between my first & second times watching dgs i thought about it often and i still do.
