i love how people like that anon are like "gif someone who needs it!" yet when you or pretty much half of the rpc makes gifs of underused fc's they still go .... underused. it's almost as if they're just being performative and weird. gif whoever tf you want bc they're not really abt this shit like they wanna pretend they are.
Honestly Like I won't tag them because I don't want to be annoying. But the amount of gifs of underused fcs people like Ann, Natalie, Tess, Mina, Nare, Abby, and so many others put their whole chest into making and they're so excited to share and then people are like nah. I know for a fact Ann's packs and Natalie's packs especially get less than 1% of the recognition they deserve and they make such beautiful content and are just amazing human beans. Like I've said for years idc who else has giffed what I am. I gif it bc I wanna and yet here the demons are.
I honestly and truly believe all good AUs should be a little “”””ooc”””” in the sense that good characterisation involves understanding that changes a characters backstory and circumstances will have an effect on how they respond to the world around them
Good characterisation isn’t about creating a perfect 1:1 canon replica it’s about understanding why a character is different in your work and about grounding the changes you do deliberately choose to make in canon character traits
like okay if we're talking about this anatomically the ear holes on a human skull and a cat are actually in the same spot it's a difference in the shape of the cranium. you can see what's happening if you look at hairless cats
ears is big. so you can put the cat ears wherever you want if you start them at the same point as where the human ears would go.
just like. pull the sideburns back a little and it's fine. it's fine.
it's the best way to catify your blorbos with visible human ears. but that's just my........ purrsonal opinion..............
[ID: A captioned Tiktok by @nextdreadpirate. A comment in the middle of the screen says, "Always tip the maid" as a skinny white man trots into the middle of the screen. He's wearing a frilly maid's dress and cap and holding a notebook and pen. The comment disappears as he says, "Hi! Welcome to the maid cafe where we're-" He turns to the right, does the nya hand gesture with each hand, then kicks up a heel, showing off a black pump. "-cuter than kittens!" He finishes, then drops the pose and turns back to face the camera, shuffling a bit closer and leaning in as he talks. "I'm the diversity hire, Bryson. Are you here for the gamer discount?"
A door opens in the background, and Bryson stands up and turns to the left, holding out a warning hand. "Okay, I can explain," he says to people offscreen, starting to laugh. Someone laughingly says, "Oh my god," and another person starts laughing as the video ends. End ID]
