thinking about collegebf!gojo staying over for the night, constantly complaining about your single size bed.

“stop kicking me.”

“m’not kicking you.”

“Yes, yes you are satoru, don’t even try to deny it.” You huff, grumbling into your pillow.

“Is it my fault that you have a small ass bed?” Gojo exclaims, “I can’t even turn over right, I’ll pull a muscle.”

“leave then.”

your bedroom fills with immediate silence as soon as the words leave your mouth. your stomach nearly drops, regret creeping across your skin. you’ve only been dating satoru for a few months but you’ve known him for years and can already predict his reactions when it comes down to situations like this.

there’s two possible ways he could take this. one: he could turn into a brat and actually leave, giving you the silent treatment until you guilt trip him into talking to you by buying him sweet cinnamon buns for breakfast. or two: he plays along and actually ends up kicking you out…of your own bed.

awaiting his response you whisper his name tentatively.

“satoru—“

“take it back.”

“or what?” you tease, despite there is anxiety in your tone.

“fine then.”

Satoru sits up and reaches for his phone on your bedside table, immediately his fingers start typing, you watch him silently as he scrolls.

your mind gushes over the possible things he’s doing on his phone. finding ways to break up with you? Texting someone to pick him up? Ordering an Uber to leave?

the thought of it makes the regret take control over your whole body.

“I take it back!” you exclaimed suddenly, your arms wrapping around him, securing him tightly so he can’t leave. “m’sorry,” you kiss him between your speech,”don’t leave me — I’ll buy — you all the cinnamon— buns that you want.”

“whoa, whoa, whoa, who said anything about leaving? If anything we’re leaving together.”

“we?” you repeat.

“I’m looking for one bedroom apartments with a double bed.” He emphasises on the last part, “m’ getting sick of these dorm rooms.”

“wait really? you want to—“ you pause, swallowing thickly as the words come out of your throat.

“you want to live together?”

Gojo looks up, the glow of his phone screen illuminating his face.

“Of course baby, unless you don’t want to?”

“I do!,” you say exasperatedly, “I want to. I just didn’t think…”

“what?”

“well, right now? we don’t even have any—

“shhh—“ satoru presses a finger to your lips, “don’t start worrying that sweet little head of yours sweetheart, I’ve got it all figured out.”

you frown, pulling away his hand, “don’t sign anything without letting me see it first satoru” you warn.

“or course!” He says, “what do you take me to be, an idiot?

“sometimes.”

satoru glances up at you, his expression declares full offence. this is the moment where he’d choose to get up and leave but thankfully your sweet lips play as a smart distraction.

“but you’re my idiot, satoru, and I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else.”

“would you still buy me all the cinnamon buns-“

“no.”

Romance and all that just isn't what he was built for, but he does care. Really.

You think it would be physical touch, but that's far from the truth. Angel has been used his entire afterlife—as soon as he finds someone he feels safe and loved with, he'll settle down quickly. But because of his past, he'll constantly seek words of affirmation and give them in return. One, because he wants to hear you say things that make him feel secure in your relationship. And two, because he never wants you to feel the way he did with Val. Same goes for quality time: Angel never felt like he was valued or cherished in his past relationships so spending some quiet time with you is what he craves the most. This guy is Touch Starved™️. The underworld has really messed with his head and put him into pretty dark places—drinking is all he knows until he meets you. And when you touch him? Oh boy. He malfunctions, but in a good way. It's like all the toment in his head goes quiet without needing to pound some bottles. So he gets used to it, does everything he can to get you to even hold his hands. It's nice knowing someone in this place has his back, past and all. And he does his best to return the affection, wanting you to feel all the same showers of love you give to him.

yes, there will be more parts to screen rant babe and i've decided that i will finish neteyam's ending for the love triangle headcanons i posted. i'm sorry i havent been as active, i've had a ton of stuff happen IRL recently (finally got a job after being unemployed for 3 months, i've been trying to maintain what might be a great relationship between me and this super sweet accountant i met on bumble - and yes, he's a real accountant lol) and i've also been enjoying some of my other interests like hogwarts legacy/the marauders and i got a chance to spend a weekend in vancouver island, so on and so forth.

just a gentle reminder that my requests are currently closed!! so unfortunately whatever you've sent me in the time period from when i closed them... i will not be working on. i hope you can understand.

i can't guarantee update times or when i will have parts out as my new job is full time, but i promise i won't completely abandon SRB like i did my rhaenyra targaryen fic lmao (i'm so sorry BITWC friends)

I didn't exactly ask my girl Angel to tell me a joke - I think I mentioned something about something being treated like a joke, and I think she misconstrued it.

But anyway, here's the joke she told me:

Considering that this is the first joke Angel ever told me (and that it was actually a good, clever joke), I thought it was pretty funny! She really did try her best to make me laugh and my heart melts (not for the first time) to know that she put so much effort into wanting to put a smile on my face.
