Animal rescue workers: I dont get why no one will adopt these pets?? They're so sweet and good! We know people like them, they always get so many comments and likes. We socialized them, gave them shots and made the adoption process as easy as we could!

So there’s this roblox game that’s like, a village simulator. You have villagers, leader, council members, guards, doctors, jesters, janitors and villagers. There’s a few other roles sprinkled in for spice, like the barbarians that attack you. Well one of those roles is landlord. As you’d imagine, if you own a house, and landlords (or leaders, but they never do) can come and collect your rent. And everyone seems to agree, except people that use that role, that landlords are terrible, useless, and money hungry. It’s not uncommon to join a server where people just. Kill off landlords like it’s the law. Guards, villagers with weapons, even leaders denouncing them and saying they’re free to kill. The children are discovering anti-landlord propaganda.

Hmmm actually raging. So was randomly called a few weeks ago by a branch of my letting agent who informed us that the landlord might be looking to sell and they wanted to do an evaluation. Then was called again the next week by a different branch of the letting agent to arrange an evaluation, that I had already arranged.

Got the mix up sorted, and the lady comes to evaluate, not a full one, she doesn't take any photos or measurements, she just looks around and tells me that they're still not sure of the landlords intentions, but once they get some more info, they will let me know what's going on.

Fast forward 2 and a half weeks, I'm sitting in the sofa and a man has just turned up to put up a for sale sign. Fucking news to me! Call the letting agent and now I've basically got to arrange for photos and viewings and shit next week. This obvs was always a possibility with renting but I'm mad I found out this way. And they still haven't sorted out the carbon monoxide alarm install they allegedly cancelled so they're breaking the law on top of that.

I'll be fine re housing until the end of this year-long tenancy and there are legal protections against evictions but it's enraging that they're just so incompetent. Give me more warning next time, Please.
