I hate how people lack nuance nowadays and think that taking a stand against Israel = antisemitism, or islam = isis or whatever. 🤡

I can absolutely loathe Israel because of its crimes but have the necessaey brain cells to separate zionism from judaism/jewish people as well as isis from islam.

(Believe me btw, if all muslims were insane, the world would be on fire considering they're like 2 billions or sth).

I think media has fucked us up big time because they keep on feeding us simplified manichean versions of conflicts/wars according to their interests, shoving down our throats further polarizing narratives. As if we weren't allowed to empathize with innocents in general.

A few days ago, I came across the testimony of a Ukrainian-Palestinian lady...Idk what to say aside from how horrible it is that both of her countries are now being ravaged by war. She said that she got so much support when she said she was Ukrainian, but somehow she was made into a monster when she talked about Palestine...

I don't know, I feel like if I was supporting a side that Indigenous communities around the world were against, I would feel pretty stupid. They understand the pain and trauma colonization brings, and I would think they wouldn't just blindly support Palestine based off of "Hamas propaganda".
