JAPANESE EGG SANDWICH 15mins recipe (prep n assembly) 2 - 3 servings Ingredients 4 hard boiled eggs(9mins) 2soft boiled eggs(6 mins) White sandwich bread preferred ( I used brown breads) Japanese Mayo ( otherwise any good mayo) Dijon mustard Salad 4 chopped hard boiled eggs Relish Chopped spring onion Salt Pepper White vinegar (optional) 1. Boil the eggs first (don't forget to add salt to water and keep a timer for eggs). 2. Take the eggs out in a cold iced water bath n keep it aside and take the shells off. 3. Mix everything from the above mentioned ingredients for salad. 4. Spread mayo on one bread and Dijon mustard (optional) on other. 5. Slice soft boiled eggs n keep the yolk side facing the mayo ,add salad and finally cover it with the dijon mustard slice bread. 6. Cut it into half and serve. Incase you're using bigger size sandwich bread cut the sandwich into three pieces and cut the crust edges of bread slices too. P.S. - Self explained slides. BON APPÉTIT !! ENJOY !! Miso Soup...
...with some body provided by the mung bean sprouts, grated carrot, thin sliced radishes, fine grated ginger, sesame seeds, and a few seaweed squares to top it off. This fixes in about the time it takes to boil some water...pssst I swear the water heats faster in my electric tea kettle but see for yourself. Look for the miso soup with no alcohol - it exists you just have to read the fine print in the “Ingredients” section on the label. Here’s the recipe for a light meal, fixed fast with no regrets after...
1/2 c. miso soup paste
3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. mung bean sprouts
1 carrot, coarsely grated
1 c. radishes, sliced super thin
2 t. fresh ginger, grated fine
dash sesame seeds
10 - 15 1/2″ size seaweed squares
In a sauce pan, add miso soup and water stirring until the miso soup paste is dissolved. Add the mung bean sprouts, carrot, radishes, and ginger cooking just a few minutes until the bean sprouts are tender. Transfer to a deep bowl, top off with sesame seeds and seaweed...dig in....
