#beautiful ending

That ending was perfect because it proves that for all his unhealthy obsession, Eun-sung doesn't know Hae-in at all. Did he really think he could back her into a corner and she'd just submit? No! She's going for the throat. She going to fight back with everything she has. And he dared threaten the only man she loves.

Futurama 7X26 - "Meanwhile"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
According to co-creator David X Cohen, This is the longest sequence without dialogue in all 140 Futurama episodes at 1:16 seconds. The music is a piece by Vladimir Rubashevsky
This is my all-time favorite television finale. Third time is the charm, apparently. Fry and Leela spend an entire life together right in front of our eyes. A grand romantic story for the best slow burn romantic subplot I've seen. The show ends in such a beautiful way. It's so final with Fry and Leela spending the literal rest of their lives together, then BAM sci-fi fuckery that leaves the door open for more episodes.
Well done

I would have been livid if Loki had killed Silvie. As much as I HATE the romance or "tension" between them, that woman deserves a joyous world without apocalypses. I'm glad she stayed single all season. I hope she goes back to her timeline and eats all the donuts, listens to all the music and drinks all the drinks she wants. She deserves joy.
I got so scared during that convo between Loki and HWR. If I didn't love Loki before, I love him MORE!!! now.

⍟ November Rain ⍟
Expressing my feelings to an audience who doesn’t know me, is… different. No opinions or support. Just.. views. And an occasional like or re-post. Which is cool and I appreciate it tons.
It’s cool to be anonymous. Kinda.

"Marcille hates all of Laios' freak traits but loves them in Falin" is honestly a really good joke but... you guys do know it's a joke right?
It's such a funny one I honestly find it impossible to get mad at even when people mistake it for an actual truth about the characters but JUST TO MAKE IT CLEAR
THIS is how marcille reacts when Falin is predictably just as enthusiastic about eating monsters as her brother was.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That is not the face of a woman who thinks this trait is lovely and endearing as long as it's exhibited by the girl she loves. That is the face of a woman who is taking 7d8 psychic damage and yet knows deep in her heart she won't like Falin any less for it.
The way young Marcille reacts to Falin eating berries Marcille can't recognize but Falin knows are safe is pretty similar to how she reacts to eating monsters years later, albeit with more fear than disgust. The difference in her relationships with Laios and Falin isn't just that she's attracted to Falin, it's because the Touden siblings, while similar, are in fact different people. Not just genderswaps of each other.
Also, I think you all already know this, but just to say it: she doesn't actually hate Laios for any of his freak tendencies either. He's one of her best friends. She's just a lot quicker to be outwardly exasperated with him while she's quieter about it with Falin.

The Pea
Tumblr media
I'm very hung up on the symbolism of this dish, particularly with how it pertains to Eddie and his episode of severe emotional distress.
Eddie was all alone in his post office when we found him. Although he refused to state this outright, it was clear he was feeling excluded and forgotten by his neighbors. We have often seen him pushed to the margins of the community, only sought out for his utility to the others.
Barnaby openly delights in scaring and tormenting him, Howdy overworks him without sparing a second thought to his needs, Julie only calls upon him when she someone who's easy to drag into a game, Sally refuses to address him by name and treats his attempts at social connection with disdain, Wally and Poppy only have fleeting interactions with him, and Frank hides his burgeoning fondness behind a facade of cordial indifference.
The pea is alone, too, isolated on the stark white backdrop of the plate.
Tumblr media
"Take care not to place them too close together." Even if there are more "peas" at this party, Eddie sits alone in Home's chair, denied the basic creature comforts of intimacy as he watches the others mingle.
Tumblr media
The pea is also a pittance to Eddie. It is presented to him right after Sally's single, small attempt to show him goodwill, which she only bothers to do because it's a holiday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She still does not address him by his name. The gesture, the pea, and the seat are all mere crumbs – too little, too late for a neglected outsider who struggles to make sense of the lonely, awful torment of his life in this Neighborhood, one which he cannot properly articulate for fear of sounding ungrateful.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Home stares him down from his lonely seat. Its presence is monolithic and ominous, a towering figure that only makes him feel more small and alone.
Tumblr media
Is it intruding on his mind on purpose, trying to hurt him? Personally, I don't think so, though it still remains to be seen. His words to Frank at the end are telling, though. "I want to go home."
Whether it means to or not, Home torments him with its very being. It's both the elephant and the room. Eddie is an outsider. Eddie can't remember where he's from. Eddie sleeps in a post office after thanklessly running himself ragged every day. Home is the very reason for this holiday, and Eddie is homeless. It's staring him down because it's a symbol of everything he aches for, but cannot have.
Eddie is the single pea on Home's plate. Take care not to place him too close to anyone else.

if you would like trans women to stop being suspicious of your intentions as a tme person you should probably take the very important step of not making it about you LOL like it actually really is not about you as an individual at all. part of having friends that are marginalized in ways you aren't - something that needs to be accepted to even get to this point - is listening to them discuss violence/oppression/control enacted on them by people in a group you belong to and accepting that they aren't fucking attacking you personally. how do you think people will come to trust you if you've positioned yourself to assume they look down on you specifically?
