I don't a girl who's always dated men and then starts dating a girl and it's drama. And I want it to be a thriller or sci-fi or SOMETHING. Hey there!

I’m back on tumblr after… two years I guess? Well, I was thinking about how I’d love to share my thoughts, hobbies and what happens in my life but IG hasn’t been feeling like the right place lately. And then I thought “wait! I still have a tumblr page” and downloaded the app again.

Well, here’s some random news: I visited Paris for the first time with my boyfriend and loved it sm! I watched Heartstopper S2 and loved it even more (that’s also where the idea of tumblr came from). I’m moving to the city where I study in 2 weeks and I’m scared af cause it’s my first time living with other unknown people and my social anxiety is killing me. I’m rewatching Atypical, I love that show.

A Lil AEG Ramble

So I started watching All Engines Go the other day - both out of curiosity and boredom - and like, it’s fine? It’s nothing special and there’s always going to be that feeling of ‘This is what they replaced the og series with?’ but I don’t think it’s as bad as everybody says it is. That being said, it’s not great either.

Like, I think the main thing that stops it from being like HiT era quality (Which doesn’t sound much better now that I think about it) is stuff like the wheel hands and the jumping off the rails.

Personally, I can deal with there being actual child, teen (Is Ashima a teenager? That’s what I’ve been hearing), and adult engines. It raises a lot of weird questions, but I can deal with it. I can deal with the basic ass season nine plots. But the noodle axles and shit is a bit much.

And I’m not sure where I stand on the show as a whole? Cos I think the character designs are cute. Most of them, at least. Some of the music makes me weirdly nostalgic for 2000′s era Nick Jr. for some reason? And I think some of the episodes could fit in the original series with some tweaking (A Thomas Promise, A Quiet Delivery, and Kana Goes Slow all come to mind.). And I think I’d be fine and not care either way if it was running alongside the original series.

But it isn’t.

If Mattel had kept doing the original show, as BWBA or just normal Thomas, and marketed AEG as a side series geared towards an even younger audience, sort of like how Hasbro had Trasformers: Prime and Transformers: Rescue Bots, that would have been fine. Fans of the old series would have been happy and new fans could have a good jumping on point. But they canned the old show (I think because of low toy sales and lower views? Don’t quote me on that) and replaced it with All Engines Go.

I don’t know, dude. Like, I know there are people young and old who really enjoy All Engines Go, and that’s fine. I like stuff like Misty Island Rescue and season fifteen. I’m the absolute last person to give other people grief for what they like. But me personally? I’m probably gonna finish season one and the movie, maybe watch a couple Bruno and Ashima episodes, and be done with it.

hello everyone, i just finished the second season of “one of us is lying” and i have to say that i remembered watching this series but i couldn’t remember what was this talking about until the third episode. it’s like i removed everything about what happened during the first season lol. but now that i finished it here i am reviewing it:

-possible spoilers of one of us is lying:

as i said, at first i didn’t remembered anything about this series, who was killed, what happened at the end, etc. so i just kept going on watching it, and as i read again flatten on my precedent review, i liked it a lot. some things were a little relatable, but so far it’s better than some things i watched, so it’s good. there were a lot of plot twist during this season, they were able to keep my mind focused the whole time, and i had to going on because i wanted to know what was going on; the new characters were good, i think that everybody until Giselle was killed thought that she was ‘Simon Says’, and when she was found on the ground with her head smashed bc she fell down the roof, it was a real plot twist. but then also the last two episodes were very great, the group chatting and working together putting all the pieces together to catch and find who the killer was, absolutely amazing. i don’t know what will happen in a possible third season, but i really hope that they’re not going to ruin everything, because it’s easy to put elements that have nothing to do with it.

Safe to say this is my new favorite book series 😫😫 all 10 books were AMAZING. And never had a dull moment or strayed away from the plot. Usually when series have more than like.... 4 books. They stray away and just keep going on and on and on. Even the sequel series, TIN, is very good !! Tho, I just started listening to it (audible). I only have 1 complaint, I miss the original narrator from thirds. The guy who does it for TIN Is gonna have to grow on me 😪 ordering the "thirds beyond the books" today so I can read those !! I'm recommending these to the aftg community bc enemies to lovers 🫶🫶 (and aftg was my fave series for 6 years and it's replaced w this so READ THEM )

When this series comes out it’s all over for us :

I had seen the trailer when it was first released and my thought at that time was “ what in the world is happening? Everybody is just kissing everybody” only recently when I was watching A boss and A babe that I remember about this series again. I spent the whole of yesterday watching and rewatching the trailer and got the gist of it, maybe it’s because i am not on many social media apps but I analysed it abit and understood their relationships ( kind of ) which could have been easier to understand if I had Twitter or something, maybe I should post my insights on what I had gotten from the trailer ?All I have to say is GMMTV is thriving this year, all the series have been well done so far. Some of the series I have been watching/ watched are Midnight Motel, UMG the Series, Midnight Museum and A boss and A babe and so far they have been quite entertaining. GMMTV be raising my expectations for films 😭
