The Hauntley Manor Inn (kind of a mouthful of a name, eh? He’d remarked that once and Snow had rolled her eyes--saying something about historical or distinguished or proper, blah blah blah.)

Gem had gone up to the front and then skirted around to the back, taking in as much of the damage as he could see from the outside. Curious and wanting to be prepared when he finally went to find Snow. Which he did. Setting down the ladder, leaning it against the side of the house and dropping his tool box. He probably wasn’t going to get much work done today anyway. Just--examining, coming up with a plan.

He opened the back door and wiped his feet on the mat before ducking inside. Jessie was in the sitting room. He gave her a nod and she pointed him in the direction of Snow, who he found setting out vases of new flowers in the Rose Room for brunch. The crystal glasses glinted in the early morning sun.

“At least the storm didn’t take out the sun room, hm? Who built it? Clearly it is well-made.” He leaned against the door frame.

Y'all fantasy book "generational talents" that you've only known about for 2 weeks to take Logan's seat. I'm glad that there's more people defending him openly, but before he could not catch a break from people saying that he doesn't deserve a spot on the grid. Every single race is an opportunity for him to prove himself. If you take away that opportunity, what does that say about your faith in his capabilities as a driver? Logan has openly spoken about his mental health about how he often feels isolated. "This was the right thing to do from a business standpoint" only carries so much weight for me as a fan of the sport. He's a person with feelings and trying to invalidate that in the name of money is grimey (why tf are you as a casual fan even invested in a team's finances in the first place). Any ounce of confidence Logan had is probably gone.

If you’ve seen any of my other artwork, you might notice that backgrounds aren’t really my cup of tea. I think I can name one that I’ve drawn in the last year! So I wanted to challenge myself to draw something more focused on an environment/background than a portrait. I still have a lot to learn about lighting etc and it’s not perfect, but I learned a lot, which counts for something!

Anyway, I thought of something funny if I ever did the one rise au (where Mikey, April, and Leo go back to the past with Casey Jr)

It kinda messes stuff up if they're there for the invasion events, so what if the portal takes CJ to the right place, but it freaks out and glitches with the others and throws them to like, I don't know, Vermont or something

Somewhere where it might take a good three days to get to NYC

So all the movie events stay the same, just with these three panicked old people stumbling out of a taxi in their apocalypse pants yelling for CJ at the end
