STAR I JUST WOKE UP FROM THE WORST NIGHTMARE? god hates me 🤕 but this made me wonder what prowl would do if you woke up from one..? ONLY IF U WANT ur epic either way

I'm sorry to hear that, nightmare are the fucking worst. Can't stand them, and then you can't go back to sleep afterwards that shit be pissing me off. Anyways this is for you and fuck that nightmare.

I like to think that Prowl has nightmares himself. So I feel like he def knows when you are having a nightmare. He takes notices in the way your breathing picks up, your brow creases and any other small detail. He can't figure out if waking you is the correct choice. He'll wait a few seconds to see if you get worse and if you do then he moves into action.

Servos lightly grabbing at your body, he'll pull the covers off you a bit. His voice wil be soft as he calls out to you. He won't fully move you, a fear that you might fight back or hurt yourself on him. So he'll stick to the softly shaking you and calling out to you. If that doesn't work then he harden his voice, no longer whispering. His servos still shaking you, but now its a bit more agressive, no longer just a light shake of your arm. He's a little bit more alarmed, sitting up fully in bed next you.

Once you do awake from it with his help, he'll give you a sew seconds to collect yourself. He'll interlock your fingers together as you both sit/lay in silence. He speak first, asking if you're okay and if you need anything. The he'll ask you if you wanna talk about it, he'll understand if you dont want to, he gets that sometimes you just don't wanna speak about it, a fear that he might be speaking it into existence. He cares and he wants you to know that, he'll place a kiss on your temp or the top of your head after you've calmed down and when you're ready to back to sleep. He'll lay there with you for the rest of the night. If you want cuddles, then cuddles you will receive.

BUTTTTT If you woke form one and went to go find him, he'll insist that you stay with him, or even sleep in his office. He'll let you crawl into his lap and sleep while he finishes whatever he is doing. He'll talk you through his work, or just ramble with you if you dont want silence. He'll leave room for you to speak about your nightmare, if not that fine. He won't leave you be if you chose to stay up, you'll always be in the same room as him. Back to the leting your crawl in his lap, if you fall asleep in his lap and he still has things to do, then he will just not be doing those things. He'll stay in that chair or move you to the bed and go mimis with you. HE LOVES YOU period, and will do anything to make you comfortable, even if youre like lets do something to get my mind off of it, wink wonk ;)

Shit. Absolutely the most shittiest day he ever had on his adulthood so far.

Shigaraki had been a pain on his ass ever since he joined the league of villains, and when he was isolated by that crazy doctor on a moutain he thought was going to get a bit of peace.

His colleagues despite becoming part of his daily routine were cool and all but he got irritated easily with their bullshit. Instead of wanting to expose the corruption and fake hero society all they cared for was being accepted and just watch the world burn down.

Heck, he tried his best to not be like him, but when he was out of pacience he tended to snap at anyone whose even got in his front... including you.

He felt like shit everytime and knew very well that a apology wasn't going to erase his harsh words... neither his own attitude.

Thankfully though he was fucking terrified of becoming the monster that married his mother, so he never once raised his hand at you.

He couldn't even once get a bit of peace on this fucked up life...

He was about to head to a shower he took off his shirt... looking at the corner of his eyes the nasty scars, covering more than half of his chest as the stables clinged and holded his still healthy and burnt skin together.

How the freaking hell you accepted being him out of all people on Japan? He was like a broken vase, couldn't fix it and just... was made to be left alone and on the fucking trash can.

He brought his hands to his camp of vision and saw the scars littering his forearms and hands, attached to staples... his breath started to quickened at remembering especially why he had them, whose fault was that...

Anger and anxiety combined surely wasn't a good thing.... without him thinking his quirk started to heat up and his skin if he could alscream would have already in pain.

He looked, trembling in wrath, at his reflection... and the sign was enough for him to shout and punch the mirror at the point it shattered in pieces and injured his hand badly...

Panting, his senses come back a but and cringed at how much blood it was dripping from his hand and dirtying the carpet of your guys room... for now.

Pieces of glass was still on his flesh but his anger hadn't vanished as he started to punch the wall until he was tired of it... the pain was one of the things that proved to him he was still alive.

So what is more? He felt worse after all...

He punched that wall until it got dirty with his blood and until he was tired of it... Sighing he clenched on the injury and got into the bathroom to take the goddamn shower.

Your voice calling for him and the door being slowly opened interrupted his thoughts... he vringed at the causation tone of voice you used and only waved his hand once to tell you it was okay for you to enter.

"We went out to get some food so.." he felt the lightly slightly short on the bed near him "I got some of your favorite..."

He didn't answer. He knew that one harsh word could leave or even the worst thing, you could get that he was on a bad shape, you could just fucking see when he was overthinking ... damn you for being so blind to not fucking see je is not worth of you.

"WHAT THE- DABI?!" He widened his eyes when you grabbed his hand, your horrified expression at seing the injury "What the hell happened?! I thought you-"

"I made it myself." He spoke on a cold tone of voice that even himself cursed himself for it.

"You're crazy or something?! How?!"

"Why being so dramatic over it? I have tons of scars sweetheart, I'm fucked already and just you who doesn't seem to notice." He shrugged as you looked at him before narrowing your eyes and getting up with a huff.

Just when he was about to sigh, you pocked a chair and put on his front agressively with a first kit aid.

"Aw. Cute seing you trying to fix me (Y/n)." His sarcasm was like venom as you grabbed his hand and started to bandaged.

"Fix and help to cure the wound are differents things and you know it very well, Todoroki." You hissed his last true name as got up and grabbed your wrist as you two exchanged glares for a bit before you gritted through teeth "Sit. Down."

He scoffed and sitted back on the bed as you sit down as well, bandaging him and taking the minors piece of glass out of him with the help of an twessee.

He hissed at one particularly large, stuck on his knuckles as you looked at him, your anger vanishing at seing him biting his lower lip and trying to mantain a nonchantly expression as he refused to look at your eyes.

Sighing in relief when the last piece of mirror left his hands, picking up a bit of alcohol, cottom and the bandages to wrap around the injury.

"... not going to give up are you?" He muttered as you remained silent while doing your work, cringing when he let out a dark chuckle.

"You're such a thick skull... cant even see it doesn't matter and you can do better than this..." you stopped with wide eyes before looking up at him.

"Huh?"

"Oh come on doll... you know that staying with me is a loss. What do I even have to give to you anyway? How do..." he snickered, letting his head fall on the hand you weren't treating "How do you even look at me with those fucking gorgeous eyes..?"

You blinked, words lost in your throat as you saw Dabi on that condition... slowly, you put the supplies aside, one hand holding his as the other barely touched his arm.

"Do you know I love you right?" You muttered as he barked on a laughter.

"Yeah..." he looked up at you in pain but with a maniac smile still present "I just don't know how."

Ever since that evening you started paying more attention on your boyfriend. Instead of replying with a snarky comment whoever joked about his scars he only sighed a "fuck off" and left... how he didn't even let you see him without a shirt.

It was like all the improvement of him thrusting you to not judge him for his past or appearance had come down hills... his usual cockiness and sarcasm aurea was just pushed all inside and eames back the aloof and cold Dabi...

You couldn't just let this continue... Dabi knew you love him but didn't know how? Well, damn him, you were going to show it like him or not.

With determination you walked and opened the door to slow your movement at seing Dabi staring at the mirror, his back at you as his head hung low, supporting himself on his hands on the mirror.

"You listen you bastard..." you listened him talk to himself "Stop being a selfish pig and let (Y/n) go... no one deserves getting stuck with a walking disaster... you wont drag the one you love to hell along with you." He growled the words as tears threaten to form in your eyes.

Saying fuck it, you almost ran into him while hugging him from behind, a gasp leaving him as the muscles of his back tensed and looked at your reflection clinging to him.

"How can you say that to the men I love..?" You whispered, wet cheek resting and nuzzling on him "You're not dragging me to hell if you're not even going there..." you sobbed as his wide turquoise eyes remained on your reflection... frozen body... he couldn't even think to be honest.

"You deserve happines just like everyone does... You make me happy by being you Touya..." you clinged onto him and burried your crying face on his back "I don't want to let go... you're the best thing that ever happened to me so dont you fucking dare to say things like that about yourself!"

You felt his rough and half scarred hand touch yours at first before holding it like his life depended on it.

"You know... if I could cry... pretty damn sure I was weeping right now at only seing you suffer because of me..." his hoarse voice came out and you clinged onto him tighter.

"You're the blind one for thinking that you dont deserve me or you aren't beautiful... scars and all." You mumbled before leaving a chaste kiss on his back, one that made his body shiver.

It was quiet for a moment before Dabi got out of your arms as you whimpered before gasping when he cupped your cheeks and smashed his lips on yours.

When he broke the kiss you hugged him.tightly as he slowly returned the affection, resting his chin on your shoulder as he felt his eyes burning.

"Dont hide from me anymore..." you sobbed as his heart clenched at your crying and hugged you tighter.

"I won't... I won't." He pulled you even closer to his chest as he kissed your temple.

"Get on your thick skull that you're beautiful and handsome you idiot!" You punched his back as he let out a weak chuckle on your hair.

"Only because you make me feel that way doll..."

2🌸 before his second curse, he'd chose wine or coffee, but ever sence he took over a form of a child, he had to live w/o them. he just replaced em w cocoa and juice <\3

4🌸 hmm. he's pretty leneant w what he considers unforgivable and what dine, but hurting lesser beings than yourself for no reason would be pretty high up there. provoking the beasts is also one, as it always leads to make many deaths of innocent people.

5🌸 i mean, blake calls him edge lord mcedge a lot, so i think that counts. otherwise, no, he doesnt get many.

31🌸 i feel like he'd be that one bastard that doesnt wear a mask, but as for a real anwser, probably a mask of a beast. probably native to his own land.

32🌸 before the curse, it'd be a suit, adorned w accesories, like gems, small skulls etc. after the curse, probably a simple dress, maybe it'd be red leaning pink one, w sum simple jewels. he's pretty used to formal things, so he'd be fine w it.

You weren't nice. So what? There were enough nice people in the world, it wasn't your fault you weren't one of them. Well, you were, once. Many years ago that was.

Everyone in life starts out as innocent, it's what happens later in life that makes you who you are.

Metaphorically speaking, there's scars on everyone’s hearts. The more scars you have, the more lost you are. Sometimes people's hearts are so scarred, that there's no going back for them. Their heart turns to stone, and they aren't given any more chances and they become miserable, and lonely, and just plain cold.

Now you had many, many scars. You've been on the verge of never coming back. After years of abuse, both mentally and physically, it drained you to the point you had given up.

But, there was brighter days ahead.

Your rescuers had found you, battered and bruised, barely alive. Barely breathing. You weren't aware that they had found you until days later when you awoke to a girl dabbing your forehead with a wet towel.

Surely enough you freaked and turned into your wolf form, scaring the poor girl so much she had almost mear fainted. It took three people to calm you down enough you turn back into your human form. You had a panic attack and locked yourself away for days.

Charles eventually came in and explained everything that happened. They found you in a mutant fighting ring that had obviously been evacuated, you were on the floor of the ring, forgotten like a piece of trash, half alive. You didn't remember much of what happened. They brought you to Xavier’s School For The Gifted where you rested and got your health back to normal, though you were still weak.

You were somewhat grateful they found you and let you live at the mansion, but you weren't going to tell them, and you definitely weren't going to be nice to them because of it. Sure, they let you stay, but you couldn't trust them, you could never trust again. Or so you thought.

"Everyone comes back today, do you think you can handle that, Y/N?" Charles asked you as you sat on the end of your bed and he sat in front of you.

Looking at him through your eyelashes, you shrugged the best you could.

Charles sighed and nodded, "I want you to meet a few of my best students, later on. I think you'll benefit from having them around, Y/N.." he said quietly.

“Look, I never said I wanted your help. I don’t need you to tell your student’s to be friend’s with me. I don’t want them, and I don’t need them.” You told him with an icy glare.

“Yet without me and my student’s, you would be dead.” He bit back. You stayed silent as he stared you down. “Now while you’re under my roof, you have to live by my rules. And starting from today, you will learn to work on your anger issues. I understand you have had a tough life, believe me I get that. But there’s hope for you. We have two studen's here who used to do cage fighting like you. They’re fine now, and they work fantastic as part of team. That could be you one day, Y/N. Get some rest, I’ll be back to get you during lunch.”

You stared at your hands while Charles left the room. Maybe he had a point. But you still didn't like the idea of having to meet new people.

When Warren first laid eye's on you, he literally crushed the chip in his hand. You were following Charles who was heading right towards him with a smile on his face. It wasn't that he had never seen you before, he was actually the one who carried you from the ring and onto the jet. He just didn't expect you to be up and about so quickly. If he was being honest, he had a crush on you, but he'd never tell a soul.

"Excuse me, Warren? I hope I'm not distracting you from your... lunch." Charles said as he glared at the boys feet who were on the desk. Warren quickly stood up and dusted his hands on his pants.

"Uh no, nope. What can I do for you professor?" He questioned and glanced at you.

You were watching him with an inquisitive look. He seemed like a clumsy mess. Yet you weren't disgusted by the fact that he just wiped his hands on his pants. If it was anyone else you would have said some nasty remark.

"This young lady here is Y/N L/N. I was wondering if you two would like to spend some time together, get to know each other?" Charles glanced at you and you wore a sour look but nevertheless you sat down in the spare seat.

Warren slowly sat back down as Charles smiled at him before turning to you.

"Behave." He warned quietly before wheeling himself away.

The two of you sat in silence for a few minutes, Warren didn't really know what to say so he held the bag if chips out to you. You glanced at them and ignored his offer.

He put them down and puffed his cheeks out.

"So.. cage fighting huh?" He asked. You looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "How long were you there for?"

"That's none of your business." You told him and crossed your arms.

Warren sighed a little and continued to sit hunched over, just staring at you. Your golden eyes had him curious. He wondered what your mutation was, it had to be something interesting.

You looked at him again, "why are you staring at me?"

Warren jumped a little, "no reason. So uh, what's your mutation?"

"Look pigeon boy, I don't know what Charles said to you or bribed you with to get you to talk to me, but you don't have to and I would prefer it if we sat in silence." You gave him one last final look before sitting back in your seat properly.

You raised an eyebrow as Warren started laughing.

"Do you think I'm getting something out of this? Up until five minutes ago I wasn't even sure if you were still alive." You sat up taller at his words and he must have realised that you would have had no idea on what would have happened.

He grinned and winked at you, "I'm your lord and savior, baby."

Oh boy..

He held that title over you for weeks. And he promised to stop calling himself your "lord and savior" if you agreed to show him your mutation. So late one afternoon you took him out into the fields behind the mansion to show him.

"Is this where you kill me?" He asked as he followed you quickly through the grass.

"Yes, if you don't shut up." You told him and sent a glare his way.

As you came to a stop, Warren bumped into the back of you roughly. You would have falled over if it wasn't for Warren grabbing your waist. You cleared your throat and stood up, pushing his hand's from you roughly.

"Turn around." You told him as you took a few step's backwards. He was hesitant but did as he was told, he almost turned back around when he heard a loud thud, but he stayed put.

Last time he ignored your word he copped book to the face and he wasn't going to risk another injury.

Warren tensed when he felt something soft nudge his shoulder, and slowly he looked to his left and he completely froze when he saw a literal wolf. But it was bigger than the average wolf, much bigger.

"Y/N?" He asked quietly and turned to see if you were there. You sat down and watched as he went over to your ripped clothes on the floor and began to put two and two together.

"S-so this is your mutantion?" He questioned as he circled you a few times.

Realising he wasn't going to get a reply he broke into a grin. "I like it. You can't talk back." He teased and laughed a little as you growled at him.

Warren will admit, he wasn't prepared to see you like this. Like at all. But another thing he will admit, it was a pretty badass mutation.

People annoyed you. It was as simple as that. You hated being around them, you hated the way you had to interact with them on a daily basis, and you hated the way they were all friendly to you.

After years of neglected and abuse, you learnt to push away all the good things in your life. If you laughed at something, you would get mad at yourself. If your feelings grew for a person, you would push them away.

But that wasn't the case for Warren.

You didn't know what it was, but he didn't annoy you nearly as much as everyone else did. And he was an ass to you most of the time. Maybe that's what it was, you balanced each other out.

The two of you were on the roof of the mansion, you weren't going to lie, the two of your were pretty drunk and how you actually got up there baffled you completely. Though the alcohol seemes be have a heavier toll on you than it did Warren. Then for some reason, you just exploded and told him everything. You told him about how you were homeless and forced into cage fighting. How you escaped death every night. How you became suicidal. How you almost ended everything. How you found out that you couldn't bring yourself to actually do it.

That was the first night you had emotional physical contact with anyone in years. It felt, nice. Different. But in a good way.

Warren didn't say much, he let you vent and express your emotions. That's how he knew you trusted him. He didn't let go of you until you decided to go to bed.

He had carried you down the hall, even though you insisted that you could walk. You even allowed yourself to laugh as Warren threw you onto your bed roughly.

It felt foreign to be laughing. You were drunk, but you were aware of how you felt. And besides feeling drunk, you knew you felt happy. Warren pulled the blankets over your head and patted your head before whispering a goodnight. You watched as he walked out of your room and turned the light off ever so quietly.

You hadn't seen that side of him before, with anyone, ever.

What you didn't realise was that he had fallen for you, and hard. That's why he was always around you. You learnt to tolerate him, and eventually, how to love him.

It took at least a year of Warren trying all his little tricks on you. You then knew that he liked you, and he knew you knew. You liked him as well, but you wanted to make him wait.

You don't know why, but you enjoyed seeing him frustrated with you.

Eventually you agreed to go on a date with him, but warned him you would complain the whole time. And you did, but so did Warren. You went and saw a movie in the park, and you both got kicked out of the area for making such loud comments.

Warren got you to tolerate people. To an extent. Now you can smile at people politely without making any rude comments.

He worked wonders with you. He got you to do things you never thought you'd do. He helped you with your mutation, and you helped him with his.

Some how, you two were meant to be despite the obstacles you both faced to get where you were today.

Girl Back Home (Jimin x You x Jungkook) // Chapter 7

A/N: I would like to thank my first ever tumblr friend @chelseaxliclican for giving me the motivation to continue writing this series. Seriously, I lost my way and all hope to continue and is thinking to just scrap this series but her faith in my ability to continue (and her excitement to when I will update) sparks my inspiration. Thankyou, (for the inspiration and for listenning when I talk about Kookie non stop) I will write a dozen min yoongi stories for you soon <3

"Well, well, well, if it isnt the loving couple," Jungkook's voice which is filled with undeterred sarcasm breaks the silence as he watched the two eats their breakfast at the beachside cafe. Y/N is startled when she sees Jungkook. She didnt expect to see him, especially not here in Busan. Jimin had woken her up with a kiss today, a kiss she didnt expect nor she feel comfortable with, telling her to get ready and that he had planned a special day for her. He brought her to this beach side cafe for breakfast, knowing how much she loves the waffles here. A place where the two of them came often when they were teenagers in love back then, feeding each other and laughing, eating their breakfast with the sweet sound of crashing waves.

But that was then. And this is now. Y/N doesnt know what is her feelings for Jimin anymore. And as they ate in silence, a stark contrast from their usual dates during their teenage years, Y/N's mind drifted back to the man she is sure she loves, and really miss. Although Jungkook had hurt her so badly during their last encounter, Y/N cant help what she is feeling for him. She loves him. She loves Jeon Jungkook. And its going to take a lot more than just hurtful words and bimbo girls clinging onto his arms to stop her from feeling this way.

Still, she needs to talk to him first. To sort out everything that had happened between them. And just as if the stars are listening to her, he is standing right here, in front of her.

"Jungkook?" Her eyes widen. "I'm not dreaming am I?" She whispered more to herself, causing Jimin to furrowed his brows. Does she loves this brat that much? How can she reacts this way when Jimin is right here with her? "Wh.. what are you doing here?" She asks, confused.

"Hmm, you look surprised to see me. I'm guessing you lovable husband didnt tell you then," Jungkook spat out the words husband, sending chills straight to Y/N's bones.

"What is he talking about Jimin?" She turns to her husband who is now poking his pancakes, trying to avert her gaze. "Jimin?"

"He came by last night," was Jimin short answer, cold and silently cursing the younger man.

"And you didnt tell me?"

"You were tired sweetheart. I didnt want to wake you up," Jimin looks at her, trying to explain. Jungkook scoffed at Jimin's terms of endearment and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah Y/N. I guess you were too tired last night to notice I came around. I heard you had a rather busy night," Y/N looks confused at what Jungkook is implying but decides to ignores him. What busy nighy is he talking about anyway? She have more important things to deal with. Like making Jungkook finally talk to her.

"You came last night? I... I swear, I didnt know," Y/N looks at Jimin who is looking at Jungkook with gritted teeth. Jungkook came here to see her? Did he finally comes to his senses and wanted to talk now? Y/N felt a sudden burst of happiness and stood up to reach his hand. Jungkook flinched.

"Dont touch me," he spat. "You are really just a little whore arent you?" He looks at Jimin. "Cant you even control your wife?" Y/N is surprised. What is going on? What is he acting this way? Again? She felt her heart starts to ache again. Is she wrong? Did Jungkook not come here to see her? To discuss things? Why is here then?

"Watch it Jungkook," Jimin warned.

"Whatever. I'm out of here," he starts to walks out to the exit that leads to the beach. Y/N immediately rushed out after him, chasing him on the hot sands. Jungkook had came all the way here, he must have a reason for it and she'll be damned if she didnt hear what he wanted to say.

"Jungkook! Please wait!" Jungkook ignores her and picks up his pace but Y/N starts ro run to catch up with him. She grabbed his arms and spun him around, halting him from walking further away from her.

"Jungkook, talk to me!" She begged. "Please..."

"I have nothing to say to you. Now let go," he growled as he shakes his hand but she tighten her grip.

"No! You came all the way here. You must have a reason! You must have something to say. Please Jungkook, please talk to me. I need you to talk to me. I know we can work things out. Please Jungkook,"

"Dont touch me!" He yelled in frustration. Looking at the beautiful face that he miss so much, his heart is telling him to just ler go of his pride and hug her and kiss her and tell her he is sorry, that he loves her, and he wants her, but Jimin's words last night kept interfering with his decision, clouding his mind. "I did came here to sort things out but apparently you already did that, didnt you?" Jungkook glanced at Jimin who is standing at the cafe worriedly looking at their direction, with full hatred in his eyes, "with him," he huffed. "You know Y/N, I thought I was wrong to accused you for using me like that. But its only been a week and you are already back with Jimin! No wait, not just back with him, but under him too!" He snickered. "There's really nothing stopping you huh?! Now that I'm out of the picture, you can have your darling Jiminie back,"

Y/N's mouth dropped open in confusion. What is he saying right now? She didnt understand any of it. What made him thinks that she is back together with Jimin? "What are you talking about?" Jungkook just shrugged and starts to walk away but Y/N grabbed her again. "Jungkook, answer me! What are you talking about?"

"You know very well what I'm talking about. Or do you seriously already cant remember with whom you spend the night with last night?"

"What?" Y/N was shocked, finally understanding what Jungkook ks thinking about. What did he see when he came over last night? "Jungkook, I didn-. Jimin and me didnt-" she tried to explained but was cut off.

"Just save it Y/N. Girls like you will never change. I have had enough. Coming here is a mistake!" He turns around and starts to walk away again.

"Jungkook, you have to listen to me!" He shrugged her off and walked away. Y/N is desparate as she stumbled around on the hot sand trying to catch up with Jungkook. "Jungkook please!" But he didnt listen and continue to walk even faster, Y/N finally not able to catch up with him anymore.

"Jeon Jungkook! If you walked away from me now than its over," she calls out after him, desperation clear in her voice as she sobbed, tryimg anything to just make Jungkook stop and listen to her for once. "I'm going to give up on you... on us, forever!"

Jungkook stop and turned back to look at her upon listening to her word, giving Y/N a sense of hope, until he smirked, crashing everything Y/N is hoping for.

"There was never an us Y/N. I have already given up on you a long time ago. Have a great life with Jimin," his words sounded so cold, so heartless, void of emotions that Y/N didnt know if its really the same Jeon Jungkook she fell in love with. With his departing words, Y/N lost all strength in her and collapsed on the sand, luckily Jimin is already running towards her when he saw how agressive Jungkook is shrugging her off earlier and immediately took her crumpled form in his arms and hold her tight in his embraced, letting her cry on his chest.

"Its okay sweetheart. Everything is going to be okay," he shushed her.

"Jimin...it hurts. It hurts so bad," she sobbed. Jimin felt his heart ache to see his own wife crying over another man, but he kept quiet and pats her hair to comfort her. "Jimin... what did I ever do to make Jungkook hates me so much? He said he loves me, but why does he always do this," she keeps on sobbing. Jimin doesnt know how to answer her broken question and just keeps on rubbing her back. A oart of him died to see the love of his life this broken, but another part of him is happy that Jungkook just threw away his chances with her.

"Jimin..."

"Yes baby?"

"Why did Jungkook just assumed we were sleeping together? Just because we are still married doesnt mean I'm that kind of a woman. Why... why does he thinks so lowly of me. What did I ever do to make him thinks that about me?" she wails between sobs, the question came out as a choke after a long silent. Jimin gulped and looked away as his mind drifted back to his conversation with the younger man last night. He is pretty sure what he said last night was what caused Jungkook to assumed such things. Jimin thought back about what happened after their kiss yesterday.

"Hey, look at me," Jimin raised her face, making her look straight at him. "I love you Y/N. You are my wife, my everything. Nothing else matters. No one else matters. Its you and me, just like before," Jimin whispered those words so softly to her, making her sobbed ever more. Those words are what she had missed so much, the words that she has been waiting to hear from him all these years. Jimin looks at his wife, and with every tear that rolled down her cheeks, his heart breaks a little more. I will make it up to you Y/N. I promise. He promised himself and leans closer, capturing her soft lips with his, and for the first time since they meet again, Y/N let herself drowned in him.

Y/N savoured the feel of his soft lips as it moves against hers, every feeling and emotions she once felt towards her husband came back. She feels Jimin starts to carressed her cheeks and move lower to the strap of her dress as he finally calls out her name.

"Y/N..."

Y/N immediately snapped back to reality, remembering that she is kissing her husband who left her for years without any communication, her husband who is publicly engaged to another girl, her husband who broke her heart, her husband who sabotage her relationship with someone she actually love. Y/N immediately pushed him away.

"Y/N... what's wrong?" Jimin asks, eyes wide and confused.

"I cant do this. This is wrong,"

"Y/N, I'm your husband and I love you. There no other thing more right than being with me," he plead.

"No, I cant do this. You broke me Jimin. I dont love you. I cant love you. Not anymore,"

"Y/N... please,"

"I cant. I'm sorry," she start to tear up.

"Why wont you give me a chance?" Jimin plead, holding both of her hands tight. "Its because of him isnt it? That fucking maknae brat?" Jimin sneered his name.

"Dont call him that..." Y/N's voice is soft, tears starts to collect in her eyes.

"You cant love him Y/N. Not after everything he did and say to you," Jimin kneeled in front of her seatrd form. "I love you. I love you so much Y/N. I know you think you loves him now, but I will show you. You belong to me and I belong to you. You are mine, and we are going to be happy again. I will never ever let you go," his voice filled with a warning and determination, making her shiver as he got up and leave the house.

Jimin didnt come back until late at night, when she has already fallen asleep. He made himself comfortable on the sofa, stripping off his dirty clothes, leaving him only in his boxers and coveres himself in a blanket. As he toss and turns, trying to fall asleep, someone knock on the door, and that's when he came face to face with Jungkook.

Jimin sighed as the memories flooded his mind. He didnt do anything with Y/N last night although he tries hard to make Jungkook believes otherwise. He just wanted to riled the young man up and to make him stay away from his wife. He cant believe Jungkook's love for Y/N is that weak, believing everything he said in a blink of an eye, without a single doubt. But he also didnt think that he could be this immature, breaking Y/N's heart again when its clear she is willingly giving him one final chance to redeem himself.

"I dont know why Y/N. I dont know why he acts that way. I guess... it is just who he is. I guess he dont really love you like he claimed he did," Jimin speaks softly against her hair. "Its better you know now sweetheart. Now you can move on from him. You finally see him as who he truly is. But I'm here Y/N. Remember that, I'm always here for you. You wont be alone anymore."

I'm sorry for doing this Y/N. I know you love Jungkook and I know what he did hurts you. I'm sorry for lying to him, making him act and say those things to you. But its just something I have to do because I love you. I dont want to lose you again. I wont ever let you go ever again. Jimin thought to himself as he held her tight.

"I'm done Jimin. I'm done crying over him," Y/N suddenly interrupts his thoughts. "He walks out on us, and its time for me to give up. I'm tired of fighting alone anymore. I'm not fighting for something that clearly doesnt want to be fought for," her weak words muffled through his thin shirt.

"Okay Y/N. Whatever you need to do, I will be here with you every step of the way. I promise. I will be here for you. I'm never leaving you again," he said softly and kissed her forehead.

Days after Jungkook's visit went better for Jimin. Y/N doesnt talk about the younger man anymore and although he knows she is still far from forgiving him or taking him back, at least Y/N is acknowledging his presence in the house now. She even invites him to her morning walks with Cusco sometimes, and although she dont talk to him much, Jimin just enjoys the way she rans around the sandy beach with her dog, the wind sweeping her hair as she smile looking at the beautiful sky. Jimin had never felt happier and he wonders why did he ever left her in the first place.

But every moment has its ends and soon enough Jimin has to return to Seoul due to his schedule, and of course, dealing with Hara. Jimin had a thought to bring Y/N back with him but he knows she will never in a million years agree to that. She is still broken and she still hasnt forgiven him, and its fine. He will give her all the time she needs. Jimin's mind drifted back to Hara.He planned to tell it to her straight ahead, like ripping off a band aid. He thought he loves Hara before but he was wrong. Hara is just a victim in his stupidity and now he has to break her heart. He knows it will kill her, Hara loves him too much, but Jimin is willing to break a million heart as long as it means that he will get Y/N back. He knows now, what he felt with Hara is infatuation, and lust, but not love. Never love. Love is what he felt everytime when he looks at Y/N. He smile at the thought.

I cant wait until we will be happy together again Y/N. I will bring you to Seoul and I will buy you a big house with a large yard just so Cusco and our kids can play around one day. I will announce it to the world that I belong to you and I love you and we will live happily together forever.

"I have to go back to Seoul,"

"Okay," Y/N answered, void of emotions.

"Will you be okay? I promise I will be back the minute my schedule premits me. And I will call you everyday and-"

"You dont have to Jimin," she cut him off. "We are no longer lovers. We are just husband and wife on papers, nothing more. I dont need you to do all that, so stop acting like you care. I'm used to being alone. Just do whatever you need to do. You dont even need to come back," she answered as she continues to clean the kitchen, not even bothering to turn and look at him. Jimin shifted his weight on his foot nervously.

"I love you. I know you still dont believe me. But I love you. I will be back before you know it," he kissed her forehead, making her flinched before he makes his exit.

"Hara... please dont cry. I'm sorry. I really am sorry,"

"You went missing for weeks, never replying to my texts and calls and suddenly you came back and tell me you want to break our engagement and you are telling me not to cry?! You are a fucking asshole Jimin!" Hara yelled at him. Jimin gulped and lowered his gaze. There's nothing he can say anyway. He knows he is in the wrong. "Why Jimin? At least tell me why! Dont lie to me,"

"There's... there's someone else..."

Jungkook lay on his bed staring at the ceiling, which is something he has been doing a lot lately since he came back from Busan. What happened during his visit there keeps on replaying in his mind and it haunts his dream. Jimin's words, the way Y/N begged him not to go, to listen to her, the way she cried and fell on the hot sand. Everything is still a vivid memory to him.

Why must it be Y/N? Of all the people he could have fallen in love with, why Y/N? What does she have and did to make him fall so madly in love with her? He has a new girlfriend now, the same one that littered the newspaper headlines, the same one that cling to his arms when he met Y/N at the lobby, but all he can think about is Y/N. He had a peaceful few weeks since then, locking himself in his room, clearing his mind, but now everything has gone to shit.

Because yesterday, Park Jimin returned home.

With that cocky smirked plastered on his face whenever he sees him.

Jungkook huffed and gets out of bed. He needs something to distract his mind. Maybe some leftovers, his stomach is growling anyway. As he softly opens his door, he heard Taehyung and Jimin conversing in the living room. Those two were inseparable. Always talking ablut everything. What Jimin knows, Taehyung will know too, and vice versa. And right now they are talking about the love of his life, Y/N.

Jungkook tip toed back into his room and closes back his door, softly to avoid any sound and leave it a little ajar to listen in their conversation.

"What happened in Busan Chim? You were gone for so long? And what's up with yesterday?" Taehyung's voice breaks the silence.

"I went to see Hara yesterday... to break things off," Jimin replied softly, sounding a little sad.

"Wow. You really are serious about wanting Y/N back huh?" Taehyung's question was met with a brief silence, which Jungkook assumed is Jimin giving him a death glare before continuing.

"Of course I am. I told you I love her Tae. She is my wife afterall," Jimin sighed. Why does he sound sad? Didnt he and Y/N got back together?

"Okay hold up. Before we go into Y/N, how did Hara takes it?"

"It was horrible. She was crying and screaming and begging. I feel so bad Tae. I mean... I care about her. And its not even her fault," Jimin really sounded sad and regretful, Jungkook almost felt sorry for him. Almost. "I even said something I shouldnt said to her,"

"And why would you do that Chim? You know Hara sincerely loves you,"

"I lost my cool okay? Hara threaten to make Y/N pay for what she did to our relationship. I cant let her just say things about my wife Tae," Jimin defended himself. Jungkook feels his blood boil. He likes Hara. She's a good noona. For as long as he knows her as Jimin's fiancee, he has no qualms with her but threatening Y/N? Over his dead body if he will ever let her touch Y/N! Jungkook huffed.

"Okay... that's insane. But I think she might just be saying things. I mean... she is heart broken Chim,"

"Yeah... I know. But I will deal with her later,"

"So..." Taehyung started off. "Are you and Y/N back together now?" Jungkook held his breath, waiting for Jimin to answer the question that he himself wanted to know.

"She loves Jungkook," was Jimin's quiet answer. Jungkook felt his heart almost burst. What? What is he talking about? They slept together didnt they? Arent they back together?

"What?" Taehyung exclaimed. "Eloborate please," Jungkook thank the Gods for Taehyung's bluntness.

"She loves Jungkook Tae. She told me herself. Even after everything that asshole did to her, she still loves him,"

"So the weeks you spend with her back at home, nothing happened?"

"I kissed her once and she kissed me back," Jungkook felt his heart clenched with jealousy at the answer. So he was right? Something did happen between them that night. "But then she pushed me away and that's when she told me she loves Jungkook and she cant do this with me anymore. I would have convinced her better if the asshole didnt show up later that night,"

"Chim, you know I love you but can you stop calling Kookie an asshole? I love you both and it makes me sad to see the two of you fighting," Jungkook smile at his hyung's words. He can imagined how Taehyung must be pouting right now. Jimin laughs.

"Fine Tae. No more calling him names in front of you," he chuckle. "I love him too you know," Jimin's voice soften. "He's like my little brother and I miss him. But it is what it is. The situation we are in... its complicated. I need to get Y/N back first Tae. And I'm pretty positive Jungkook hates me too right now,"

"Okay, okay, I understand," Taehyung gives his agreement, a little sad that his two favorite friend arent going to reconcile soon. "But really, nothing happened?"

"Nope. Nothing. Just that one kiss," Jimin confirmed, shaking his head. "But I really love her though. I really want her back," his voice soft.

Jungkook closes his door, feeling like he has heard enough. His heart is beating like crazy. Nothing else happened? Y/N pushed Jimin away after kissing him the day he came? Does that means.... they didnt sleep together like he thought they did?

"You know very well what I'm talking about. Or do you seriously already cant remember with whom you spend the night with last night?"

"Just save it Y/N. Girls like you will never change. I have had enough. Coming here is a mistake!" He turns around and starts to walk away again.

Did Y/N really tried to tell him that he didnt do anything with Jimin that night? Did he really screwed up again this time?Jungkook slide down the door, suddenly feeling weak after realizing his grave mistake. He came to make up with her, to win his love back, but apparently, he only made it worse.

"Jeon Jungkook! If you walked away from me now then its over," she calls out after him, desperation clear in her voice as she sobbed. "I'm going to give up on you... on us, forever!"

Why did Jimin lie? Why did he believe him? What has Jimin made him do? But then again, is it really Jimin's fault or its just him who never really give Y/N a chance to trust her love for him enough?

But most importantly, what has he done?

Jungkook keeps asking himself as those last words from Y/N keeps repeating in his head.

"I'm going to give up on you... on us, forever!"

In the corner of a dark room, illuminated by only the soft light from the table lamp, Hara wipe the tears from her swollen eyes, her fingers fiddling with the diamond ring that is snugly placed on her finger. Her engagement ring.

"So this is her..." she whispered softly. "The bitch that takes my Jiminie away from me?" Hara ran her long tappered nail on the pile of photographs scattered on the table. "Isnt she Jungkookie's girlfriend?" She wondered alone. "I cant lose my Jimin. I just cant. I cant!" She starts to wail again, almost losing her mind at the thought. "I will make her pay,"

Her bedroom door open, revealing someone that she has never met before. "And I will help you Hara,"

Among the Inbetweens

Upon the very instant you walking into his room, unaware of what you were about to throw yourself into, you realized you really should have called Nathan before just barging in.

The tenacity in the air was almost palpable and it set off alarms that rang in your head like bells, warning you of the situation you were about to have to deal with. Nathan, sitting at his desk with his back faced to you, his shoulders squared and his head ducked down to his shoulders. He was angry.

“Nathan?”

He lifted his head, turned and he glared at you from the corners of his eyes. You felt your stomach drop.

Not mad. Pissed.

“What.” He deadpanned, his voice a rumbling hiss, and you debated just turning around and leaving right then and there.

You swallowed and shut his door behind you, shuffling into the room but staying close to the wall. “What’s wrong?”

The course, airy laugh he forced out made you cringe.

“Same shit every fucking day,” He laughed viciously. “Day in, day out.”

“What happened?”

In an impulsive, fury induced movement, he shoved all the papers off his desk and turned his swivel chair to face you. You jumped at the movement, taking note of his aggression only increasing. His features were stone cold, eyes narrowed and chilling. His phone was gripped almost devastatingly tight in his right hand. This was bad. Very bad.

“What happened?” He asked as though you were dumb. You frowned.

“Yes, what happened?”

He suddenly stood, sending his chair back and hitting his desk, shaking it and tipping over the small jar of pencils he had sitting on top of it. They spilled and rolled over the edge, clattering on the floor.

“What do you think happened?”

Try as you might to not take his words personally, you still knit your brows at his crudeness. He’s just mad, you told yourself. He’s so fucking mad but it’s not at you.

“I’m so fucking-” he gripped his hair and stumbling back. “Sick of it, everything- I don’t even fucking live with them and they still- Ugh!” He kicked some of the pencils that laid near his feet. “I hate it!”

Of course you knew the minute you saw his anger it likely had something to do with his family, but this wasn’t just his normal agressions. He was blind right now, not thinking clearly as he sent another pencil skittering over the floor. You remained silent, unsure of way to say, and you guessed maybe it was best you didn’t say anything at all. Right now was not the time to console him.

A storm was coming and you could see it in his eyes, his stature.

“They don’t care!” He snarled, and you realized he was more venting out his anger to himself rather than saying it directly to you. A pit formed in the center of your stomach as you realized what was to come any second now. He turned his back on you, body trembling with fiery rage. For just a second he looked down at the phone still in his hand, then he store his gaze away, and the next thing that happened you almost didn’t register.

The phone came less than a foot from your head, clashing against the wall with what sounded like a fatal crack. It happened so fast, you’d barely even seen him whip his arm to launch the device, and you flinched seconds after it smashed into pieces. The pieces gathered in a pile on the floor, the phone now absolutely destroyed and covered with it’s own screens shards. The wall sported an inch long hole.

Nathan did not come out of his rage even after you cried out sharply, jerking away from your spot and swearing you had felt some of the glass fling against your arms. If anything he seemed even more tense and furious than before, his bony hands balling and un-balling dangerously. He wanted to swing at something, break something, hurt something and even though he’d never once gone so far as you injure you this time you wondered if it would be a first. There wasn’t one clear thing in his mind right now, it probably all felt like a mush, or maybe static. He wasn’t even close to being in his right mind. Maybe tonight was his breaking point.

With him standing menacingly in the center of the room you made your way along the wall, finding his bed and soundlessly settling yourself on top of it. You tried to make yourself smaller upon it, your legs tucking themselves to your chest. Knowing him and his triggers, you did not look directly at him. Instead you watched from the corners of your eyes, head turned incase he looked up at you so you could quickly turn away and pretend to not see the hate in his eyes.

“Bullshit,” he seethed, and hissing ferocity made you shiver. “It’s all fucking bullshit.”

You wanted to talk to him. You wanted to tell him it was okay to be upset, to be hurt, to hate, but you couldn’t. Surely if you dared to speak up to him directly right now he’d yell at you, and then you’d end feeling hurt and that wouldn’t help anyone. Right now Nathan needed silence. He needed space and solitude. He could get none of these things.

So much was gathering up inside of him, like a pit of snakes or something far worse. They coiled and writhed inside of him, made their way up to his heart and choked the life out whatever was left of it, and he was left facing the consequence of having your entire chest busted and tied. Without an outlet all of it manifested at the very base of his throat, behind his eyes, in the palms of his shaking fists that would do anything for a face to target. You’d never seen him this way, with such a spark that made you feel like everything around you was suddenly so flammable, you included. You stared at him like you imaged a rabbit would stare at a fox: terrified and frozen with apprehensive tension. At any moment you felt like he’d lunge at you, but he didn’t, and it only made the trepidation grow within you until you almost imaged him making his move.

Only, it wasn’t your imagination.

He did make his move, but you were not the paper he lit on fire. Instead it was he himself, his fingers tracing their way down his face, nails biting into his pale skin and dragging along the way. A sharp painful cry left his lips but you felt as though the agony wasn’t from the physical wounds he was dealing onto himself. When he was done with his first path he did it again, harder this time, eyes squeezed shut and his mouth a tight grimace. Without even thinking you sprang into action and made a move for his hands, gripping tight to his skinny wrists and all too easily prying them from his marked up face. At the sudden contact he tried to yank away but you held fast, tugging him with you as you took a step back to try and keep himself from trying again.

“Stop!” You begged, heart leaping and your breath billowing in your throat. He was still trying to rip away from you, stumbling backwards and jerking back his elbows. When he looked up at you, you did not recognize even a single part of those eyes. He was more akin to a wild animal, frightened and frantic, than he was human. His eyes were dark and afraid, and at that moment they were afraid of you.

You felt like you were wrestling with him but you didn’t give in, holding fast and unwavering even as he started giving into it. His will was draining now, that fury that had once been eating him alive beginning to combust inside of him. The compressions of his heart and chest started to loosen and you hoped he felt like he could breathe again.

“Nathan,” try as you might to reach him, he still limply tried to pull away from you. His actions were half hearted and tired but still consistent, so you didn’t lighten your grip until the last of his anguished tugs were replaced with tortured breaths. You carefully led him to the bed where you had been sitting, and although he was sluggish and lagged behind your movements, he still followed you and did not fight when you urged him to sit down beside you.

Countless marks ran down his face, angry and red. The nails on his shaking hands were short but apparently dangerous, able to work as claws if he was enraged enough. Luckily they weren’t sharp or uneven enough to draw any blood but the marks were still very radiant, running down from his brows, over his eyelids, to his sharp cheekbones like a ugly streamers. His split lip still bled from how hard his teeth had sank into the flesh, and his tongue still darted out to subconsciously try and soothe the stinging.

At least he was letting you touch him. Even if his state of breaking, all his walls starting to crumble down and crush him, he was allowing you the grace of sitting next to him and silently offering whatever support you could. There was so many words swimming in your head, so much you wanted to say that you could almost physically feel it bubbling up in your chest, threatening to burst at any moment.

Nathan, leaning forward with his face in his hands, was both silent and deafening. No longer did his shoulders tense up, fists ready to crack on any surface they could find. He was quiet and still, but there was also a part of him that roared like thunder. His cries.

They were soft, barely noticeable unless you were to see his state, but to you they were all you could hear. Loud, unforgiving, piercing. Your chest ached with every angry sob, every harsh intake of his uneven breaths. Before you had been afraid he was too far gone during his act of rage but it always came back down to this, both soundless yet thunderous. He was the calm of his own storm, and he was a rain that licked away it’s wounds afterwards. He was both the ferocious river, dragging everything along with it, and the gentle trickle that followed close behind.

Your hand met the expensive fabric of his jacket and he didn’t respond, so you let it wander past his shoulder to his upper back. Up, down, gently rubbing over his clothed skin. Not only was the repetitive movements hopefully helping him, but they were also helping you. You timed your breathing to the movements, your thudding heart starting to come down from your previous fears. You should have known it would come down to this. Nathan could be the scariest person you’d ever met, but even he got tired eventually. The only thing that presented a problem afterwards was everything bounding in your head, from the things he’d blindly said to you to the things he’d blindly thrown at you. His phone still laid demolished on the floor a few feet away, that new crack in the wall taunting you.

“Nathan,” you whispered, and he didn’t answer. “Nathan?”

He still didn’t answer. His muffled sobs continued on, adding weight after weight to your chest and making your own eyes sting. You gently scratched against the top of his jacket before rubbing in small circles.

“Can you hear me?”

Thankfully Nathan did seem to be able to hear you. He nodded and then sniffed, then let his hands fall limply to his lap. The sight of his face, still littered with claw marks but now glistening with tears, made you have to look away for a minute.

Now that you had his attention your mouth ran dry, unsure of what to say next. You’d wanted his attention to make sure he was lucid in some ways, but now that he was waiting for you to say something you had no idea what you could possibly tell him to make this situation any more bearable. Actually, you didn’t even know the situation, how could you possibly help him?

Still though, his eyes reached yours, longing and expectant. He wanted you to say something, anything. As always it made you wonder how someone as mountainous as Nathan could appear so small at times, like a small child asking you for help; needy, afraid. The worst possible thing you could do right now was not say anything, so you wracked your brain for literally anything to say.

“Are you okay?” You’d blurted, and the second those words left your mouth you wanted to smack it. ‘Are you okay?’ The question was so painfully obvious, so ludicrous and dense, but he went on to answer it anyways, looking down at his lap.

“No.”

His voice was much… Softer than you’d anticipated. Then it struck you that no, his voice did not sound soft, it sounded broken. Soft was kind and gentle, warm to the ears and touch, but his was none of those things. His answer was blunt and simple, cold, and raw with scratches on his throat. The walls that which buried him had yet to disappear, so instead of fighting them he gave in. Nathan was tired, exhausted from his previous outburst that he’d likely be replaying in his head for the rest of the week. Every little thing would set him off in the worst ways.

Your hand found it’s way to his lower back, but this time he tensed beneath your palm, so you slid it right back up to the spot he’d been compliant with. “Is there anything I can do?” Once again your words felt dumb. After what you’d seen simple minded questions were likely the last thing you should be asking him about. But, you didn’t want to ask him what had happened. Of course you were curious but you didn’t want to trigger him into another melt down, especially not when he was already so jaded and worn out.

For a moment he looked at you, turning his head just enough to get his peak before once again covering his face and shaking his head. “No.” He mumbled, and you frowned in defeat. There wasn’t anything you could truly do for him other than stay at his side, offer some sort of grounding and peace for him to come back to when he’s released with his post-meltdown exhaustion.

“You should go.”

At first words didn’t register with you. You blinked at him a few times, processing, understanding, until you finally realized what he had said. “What?” you asked softly, leaning forward and trying to get a look into his eyes past his shielding hands. Never once had he asked you to leave him during a time like this. Usually it was the opposite, him calling for your aid during even his worst times of needs, but this time he didn’t want you to be there with him.

Once again he let his hands fall to his knees, his fingers toying with the fabric of his jeans. “You should go.” He repeated himself and didn’t meet your gaze, staring straight down. Your throat felt like it had been punched.

“Are you sure?” You asked.

“Yeah.” He answered.

You hated the way it made you feel. It made you feel an entire combination of things, but the most prevalent were useless and… Hurt. He didn’t want you to be around him, and though part of you understood it was because he was likely tired and wanted isolation, you still couldn’t help but take that blow to your ego.

Still, you nodded aimlessly, and swallowed down the rock forming at the center of your throat.

“Okay.” Your voice wavered and you knew he heard it with how he squeezed his eyes shut, almost in pain at hearing the sound.

As you got up, feeling like an animal with it’s tail in between it’s legs, you gazed down at him and took in the sight. Him just sitting there in silence, his entire body still slumped but not of relaxation, his face stinging with self inflicted scratches and his eyes still full of humiliating tears. There wasn’t a single thing you could do for him, and you finally understood what years of this had been doing to Nathan. In this moment you could see everything on him: the years of abuse, the pressure, the way he felt so unloved. The childhood trauma. Though you knew he beared these scars and marks you’d never seen them until this point, and it left you breathless. You so desperately wanted to stay, but you knew he wouldn’t let you even if you begged.

Nathan seemed to have read your mind. “I’ll call you.” was all he offered, a subtle way of telling you it was time to leave. You nodded again and thanked him softly, though you didn’t know exactly what you were thanking him for. Turning your back and leaving him felt entire levels of wrong but you did so anyways, and as you opened his dorm door you caught sight of that damn phone again and for some reason that was the one thing that finally let your tears take shape and leave a burning trail down your cheek. You shut the door softly behind you as you left and leaned against it on the other side, holding your sobs in with the palm of your hand.

The entire way home those tears still rolled down your face, from the moment you stepped out of the dorm room to the instant you stepped back into your own. They felt like scratch marks of their own and thankfully you didn’t run into anyone. All you wanted to do, you found, was lay down and sleep. You were tired too, and welcomed your mattress with a loud thud. Silence took it’s place and hung uneasily heavy over your room, cloaked your mind and body with fog.

You didn’t want to move from your place. You didn’t even want to roll over, not having the energy to even breathe evenly it seemed. With a whole lot of urging you managed to force yourself onto your back, staring up at your ceiling through blurry eyes. Things like this had happened so many times before, you’d think you’d have gotten used to it, but this time it felt… Different. You felt so unnaturally lonely.

Roughly you wiped at your eyes and sniffed, laying there on top of your blankets and pillows, wondering about Nathan as usual. After you’d left, what did he do? Did he cry, have another fit, break more things in his room? Or, worst of all, did he do nothing?

You felt selfish to be hurt at the idea of him doing nothing when you left, but you couldn’t help it. Something about the way he sounded, the way he looked at you, felt entirely new and you didn’t like it. His expression didn’t have any substance, his eyes almost entirely empty towards you. Perhaps tonight was his breaking point, but not nearly in the way that you had imagined it would be.

Sitting at your side your phone sat like a brick, unalerting and silent. ‘I’ll call you’, he’d said, but there wasn’t a thing in his voice that led you to believe he actually would.

The entire night felt strange and alien. It felt wrong, like it shouldn’t have happened, or should have happened a different way. You wondered what it was you could have done to change things even though it meant nothing now that it had all happened. You couldn’t go back in time, you couldn’t change the course of your actions, what little ones you had done.

Your ceiling, white and simple, served as a holder for your eyes to unfocus on. Though tired, anxious, and hurt, you just sat there in silence and waited to hear that obvious and obtrusive ringtone of yours. You waited until you finally fell asleep, eyes heavy with tears and uncertainty.

Your phone still sat beside you the entire night.

There was nothing.

I think the first time I saw him was at the first pre-season meet/practice thing. He just introduced himself and laid down the ground rules, then he let us ask him a bunch of questions, and he really likes to talk so that took up the entire time lol. I just sat in the back and listened. I think the first time he actually talked to me he just corrected my form lol wow that’s boring

Well obviously advice in practice on how to improve. He’s given like general advice to other people but I don’t actually talk that much around him

I UM may or may not pretend that my ride is late sometimes. Usually there’s someone that’s just talking to him so I stick around and listen and pretend to wait wow exposed pls mercy. I also just mess around with him like take his chair or talk back uvu. Other kids do too, but I still have zero confidence doing it.

24. If your TC were candy, what would they be? Chocolatey or fruity, maybe?

Hmmm I feel like a Twizzler fits him. I like twizzlers since they’re not overpowering. Just the right amount of flavor and texture ok none of this has to do with him.
