you're laying on the couch, nose stuffy and filled with tissues. you were always sensitive when you were sick, your head feeling like it's spinning and your body betraying you anytime you tried to stand up. chan was always a caregiver, he loved taking care of the people he adored. not one day went by where he didn't ask if you needed help or needed anything, you could always reassure him that his presence was enough, much to his scoffing.

"babe?" you called out, voice weak.

"babe!" you half yell, still trying to push your self from the couch.

chan rounds the corner, eyes frowning as he taps on the side of his headphone, "what?!" he screams at you, eyes scrunching and brows furrowed.

you burst into tears, suddenly feeling like you're in trouble for wanting help. "i'm sorry, i didn't know you were busy." you can barely speak, voice raspy and quiet.

"what?" he speaks again, pulling his headphones to rest on the back of his neck. this time his voice more gentle. he sees the tears forming in your eyes and immediately comes to your side. "what's wrong?"

"don't yell at me." you say through tears, hands coming to rub your eyes.

"shit," he curses, rubbing the sides of your arms, "sorry, i had my head phones on, i was running you a bath."

"oh," you sob, still letting yourself cry your hands dropping to your lap, "i thought you were angry at me."

"oh my god," he says pushing your messy hair out of your eyes while wiping the last of your tears. he sighs, "i just couldn't hear you silly."

"i've run you a bath, do you wanna have one together?" he stops and gives you a sniff, "you need one."

you frown, using the last of your strength to push him away, but it fails. "yes please..."

you're balls deep in your game, you've never been so focused on a game in your life. it's the final battle fight of the last of us 2, you wipe away tears at the scene before you folding out, feeling conflicted as the characters fight in the water.

"what?" you turn to felix, eyes back darting back to the screen for a moment, still in the middle of the battle.

"what the hell? why did you tell me to fuck off?" felix says as he scrunches his nose, clearly upset and confused. "what the fuck?"

"no! oh my god, no." you scrambled to pause the game, getting to your feet to stand by felix, "no, no, i was talking to the game!"

you roll your eyes, "why would i say that to you? ellie is fighting abby, and i'm telling them both to fuck off, not you!"

"oh," he says, pleasantly surprised, "valid then."

you press a gentle kiss to his forehead, he looks up at you still kinda upset. "baby, if i were to ever tell you to fuck off it'd be because you ate the last of the bread."

he smiles, eyes crinkling into moons, "oh that's true."

"you wanna watch?"

he scoffs, "god no, i already cried at that a month ago. hell no."

"get back here!" changbin screams, running across the field to catch you.

"no, no!" you yell back, a grin on your lips, you dart around the edge of the tree, seemingly hidden (well, you think at least.)

dating changbin had been a whirlwind, he was kind, funny, silly in the best ways and so cared for you like no one had. it had only been a month, but you were so damn in love with him, even though you were still getting to know him. everyday you were excited to find out more about him, it was never enough.

there's a silence in the air, your eyes dart around the edge of the tree. after a moment or two, a voice screams suddenly, "got you!"

"ah!" you scream, feeling hands aggressively wrap themselves around your waist. you had always been a scaredy-cat, any loud sound would startle you and send you into a frightened mess.

"all mine!" he said as he pulled you to the ground, arms still wrapped around your waist.

you feel trapped, his large arms wrapping around you. you can feel the anxiety in your chest, flight taking it's hold over freeze.

"changbin! that really scared me!" you cry out, but he's relentless.

"too bad, i win!" he chuckles loudly, pushing you to lay on your back, his muscles bulging as he pins you there. he slowly loses his smile when he meets your upset scowl, mouth turned down at the sides.

"baby, no-" he says searching your face, "i'm so sorry, was that too much?"

"yes," you say in a low tone, wrapping your arms around his neck. "i get startled easily,"

"i didn't know, i'm sorry." he apologises again, lifting you up to deepen the hug. you melt into his frame, enjoying being engulfed by your boyfriend, though pocket sized, he seemed much bigger than you in moments like this.

this is your chance to get him back, you smile into his neck before pressing a sharp bite down on his collarbone.

when hyunjin arrives home, it's ten oclock at night. you're sitting on the couch, balled in a blanket. the lights are off, black smoke seeming to surround your nest of pillows, the only light on your face was from the tv.

"hey beautiful-" hyunjin says cheerily before being met with your tired eyes, black rings around the bottom. "what's wrong?

"nothing." you scoff, hiding more of yourself.

"babe-" he says softly, kicking his shoes off and dropping his bag. he comes to your side immediately, hands rubbing up and down your side. you say nothing, shifting away from his touch.

he sighs, "you wanna tell me what's wrong?" he seems tired.

"no." you say lowly, turning up the tv volume.

"are you... sure?"

you say nothing as you kick him with your foot, still wallowing and watching the tv.

"fine, be like that." he scowls, voice slightly raised as he shakes his head. he shuffles to the kitchen counter, gripping the soda left on the bench top. he takes a sip, looking back at you, clearly annoyed. "i'm not in the mood."

hyunjin was never one to raise his voice, never had he done that to you. he patience seemed to have be worn thin this time.

"no i didn't-" you sigh, trying to gather your words.

'i have bad days too you know, it's not just you."

you sit up, blanket falling down the back of you. he's right, he's always right. "that was not cool, i'm sorry."

you look over him with sad eyes. he's now leaning over the counter, hands digging into his scalp.

you get up from the couch, readjusting the blanket over yourself as you shuffle to his side. you bump your head into his shoulder, looking up at him with wide eyes. "i love you."

"i love you too," he sighs, leaning his head on yours.

you sit like that for a moment before he speaks. "i got fired."

"no way same."

you both look at each and laugh in disbelief, how on earth did this happen?

jeongin was so cute, so damn cute. he reminded you of how cute he was every time he did, well, basically anything. but sometimes, he was really secretive. you didn't know why, until you had come to his house the first time. you hadn't been together long, but you were over joyed when he invited you over for dinner.

you open the door in a hurry, being met with a large pillow of an anime woman, giant boobs out and her legs parting in display. you just stand there in shock, taking in the sight before you.

"babe?" he called out as he walked down the hall. his eyes met with your curious ones, a smirk slapped across your face.

"babe!" he yelled, pulling you back by your arms. "i said first door! why didn't you listen!?"

"ow!" you said in surprise, feeling a lump of guilt building in your throat. he had never yelled at you before and it scared you. "i'm sorry i didn't hear you."

he sighed shaking his head, "i told you not to go in my room!"

"stop yelling at me..." you mumbled, wincing away from him.

quickly he pulled you out of his room, accidentally slamming the door behind him, it made you jump.

"jeongin-" you started but the lump in your throat grow. "i just got the wrong door, don't yell at me."

you stood in silence for a moment before he spoke up, rubbing the back of his neck, an unsure grin on his face, "i just didn't want you to see yet, i'm sorry i yelled."

you turn back to him, eyes tracing his face. he'd been caught. "theeee hentai?" you smirked, standing on your tippy toes.

jeogin's face burnt red, ears tingling with embarrassment. he scrambled to say something, but nothing came out. just splutters of words.

you laugh, "do you seriously think i'd be upset about that?"

"i don't know..." he says under his breath, looking everywhere but you.

"hm," you ponder, finger on your chin, "i don't know how i'd look in a thong, i might not have the ass for it."

jeongin looks like he's going to burst, his expression surprised and embarrassed by your words.

you sigh, taking his hand in yours, "it's fine but don't ever yell at me again, okay?"

"okay..." he says looking to the ground, feeling stupidly sorry for his actions.

"besides," you begin, smiling at him, "maybe you'd look better in a skirt and thong."

"wake up!" is all you hear as you jolt upwards, your forehead sweaty and breath heavy coming from your chest.

"hey, you okay?" he speaks, voice raspy.

"no!" you yelp, busting into tears, still feeling shaken by your nightmare. "you were following me, telling me you were going to kill me! why were you yelling?"

"what?" jisung says in a confused tone, hand coming to your shoulder to stable himself.

you shrug his hand off, "you were going to kill me, why would you do that?"

"what are you talking about?" he mumbles, sitting half upward.

"in my dream," you begin by taking a deep breath, "you were chasing me with a knife, it was so scary."

"i'm... sorry?" he says, still so confused, "i didn't mean to?"

"oh," you breath out, tears slowly stopping. "i still cant believe you'd do that. i'm... damn."

"i'm sorry i tried to kill you in your dream. it was wrong of me...?" he mumbles again, eyes trying to find sleep.

"yeah, yeah it was." you breathe out, "don't do that again."

"okay... i won't." he sleepily sighs, his body falling back to the pillow. "i can't believe... i did that, what a ...dog act from me. asshole."

"absolute dog act, you dick." you finish before you feel your body laying back, waiting for sleep to capture you.

"so wrong of me, i'm such an idiot." he mutters, his lips pressing against the pillow, already falling asleep.

you scoff, eyes slowly closing your tiredness overtaking you. "damn right."

"c'mon, just let me see." you yell through the crack of his changing room, attention turning from your phone. "i'm sure it's fine."

"it's not." he says from the change room. you can hear his sighs through the curtain, frustration in them whenever he tries on another piece.

"do you need help?" you start, sliding yourself to the other side of the bench in front of the changing room.

"no!" he fumbles, dropping another item.

you sigh, hand slipping to grab onto the curtain, "i'm coming in!"

"no-!"

you're instantly met with his crotch, boxers tight across his hips, and you can see that. yes, the outline of that. your brows raise, certainly surprised with the view in front of you. his boxers had the kittens on them, cute little kittens of all colours and a pink background. you loved it, you can't deny.

"uh..." you start, not knowing what to do. you'd liked lee know for a while, so you can't say you're entirely horrified. you slowly raise your eyes to his, confusion and annoyance on his face.

you just sit there, his eyes burning into yours, just both staring at each other before he pushes on your face, leading you to fall back off of the bench. "don't do that!"

"ack!" you fall back yelping back hitting the ground with a thud, "i'm sorry i just wanted to help!"

he raises his voice slightly, anger present in his tone, "yeah, well i'm fucking naked!"

you feel bad, you've pushed a boundary and you didn't even realise you had been edging on it. "i'm sorry." you choke out, feeling bad for invading his privacy. you were close but not that close, yet.

you just lay there, ashamed of yourself for what you did, not thinking about his boundaries. after a minute he comes out, you're still laying on the ground in defeat.

he purses his lips in anger as he grabs the side of your ear, wrenching it towards him.

"ah shit!" you screech, laughter behind your words, "i'm sorry! aha i'm sorry! stop it!"

"you done?" he says through his teeth, still pulling on your ear.

"haha yes! it tickles and hurts!" you giggle, mouthing ouch a few times. he gives you a final tug before he finally let's go of your ear.

you get to your feet, rubbing the side of your ear. you both walk in silence before he halts you, eyes glaring into your own.

"if you wanna see me naked just say so, at least i can put better boxers on."

it was your turn to go red in the face, but you smirk instead, hiding your face, "i like those ones."

"really?" he questions, pondering your words, but seems impatient in his tone. "i'll wear em for you this weekend then, you staying over or not?"

you nod hurriedly, instantly agreeing to his plans.

"aw," he stops, clearly enjoying your agreeance and the new realm of flirting with you, "cat got your tongue?

you smack him on the arm, "stop!"

"do these look good?" seungmin asks, raising the brown frames to his face. no, no they don't. they absoutely don't. you try to hold in a laugh, your hand coming to your mouth.

"hmm," he ponders, picking up anther pair. they're so ugly, rectangle and frames way too dark. no one would suit them, that's probably why they're on sale.

"um... maybe?"

"you already said that!" he says, frustration in his voice. "if you're not going to help, just leave."

you feel kind of hurt at his tone, but continue to follow behind him. you can't help but feel the anxiety in your chest, he wanted your advice but never listened anyways so you thought it best to be quiet.

suddenly he turns to look at you, feeling the awkward tension he's created. he throws his hands in the air. "what?!"

"hey don't yell," you start, wincing a bit at his words, "i just don't think those suited you..."

he takes the sight of you in, realising he's upset you, "shit- i'm sorry baby, i'm just annoyed i can't find a good pair. this is so hard."

you grab his hands and bring them to your chest, your eyes looking up at him, "thank you for apologising, you don't gotta be so mean."

he bends down to press a kiss on your lips, it's gentle with apology laced in it. he takes in a sharp breath before leaning back, "okay, which ones?"

"circle, definitely."

he turns to face the other section, hand gently melding to yours. the pair he picks up are just as ugly as the others.

"no," you begin interrupting him. you let go of his hand and pick up a dark circle frame pair of simple sunglasses, "these one's."

"really?" he questions, brows raised.

"just try them."

he sighs, bringing the frames to sit on his ears. "yes or no?"

"oh definitely, these are the ones. you gotta trust me."

he pouts and rolls his eyes, "oookay."

The day tumblr stans will stop being chronically online is the day I will finally like this fandom. Goofy aah people think their opinions matter?

Last year everyone adored Ayato on this platform but after a certain ahem cult ahem of people joined, I can sense they’re secretly having beef with Ayato and are sending mean anons to Ayato fans for some jealousy reason.

Granted he is not my personal best boy but he’s DiaLovers’ best boy for a fact and the hype he started getting is pretty much deserved. In a series of games that’s a bit dead, I’m glad he’s able to keep it relevant not only for the DiaLovers fans. Don’t mind delulus saying bad things about him, those only exist on this platform anyway and are just seeking for attention and approval from random strangers.

// Tbh, I’m disappointed but not surprised. Unfair and two-faced people are everywhere and if they truly spend their time in that manner, you can already see how miserable their lives must be.

I believe that the Ayato hate train began with Youngblood and picked up steam this year after the release of the Meow Meow vampire art. Many people made fun of Ayato's appearance and blamed him for FaVoRiTiSm , despite the fact that everyone in Japan adored him there. I don't know why, but the DL Tumblr fandom is completely out of touch with everything DL-related. They have no idea that Rejet simply creates Ayato content as a marketing ploy; in fact, Japanese fans are literally the ones who request it. In 2020, Ayato was stated as fans’ top choice and got invited as a co-star with a national idol at Nino-san, which was broadcasted on the second largest television corporation in Japan. If people hadn’t recommended him so much, he wouldn’t have ended up there… it’s not that hard to understand.

This has the same vibe as those kpop fans who always complain about how their ult group is underrated but don’t even stream their songs, instead they spend their time criticizing bigger groups for what??

I’m not forcing anyone to love Ayato but at least give me good reasons to dislike him. I understand not liking ALL Diaboys but isn’t it hilarious how some people would give you a litany of reasons why they can't stand Ayato, but when you look at their bias, he did the same (or worse) things as (than) Ayato? If you truly dislike those actions, at least pick a side, lol. I honestly don’t hate any Diaboy (though I don’t agree with their behavior all the time) but even if I did, I wouldn’t throw shade at that one character out of the blue only to piss of his stans.

And I swear, it's incredibly annoying how some people would tear Ayato down when asked about their favorite character/ship/route, etc., even though he has absolutely NOTHING to do with the question or he isn’t even the main topic of the question. Saying things like, "Yeah, I like this character because, unlike Ayato (just an example hehe)—" or "No hate towards Ayato but — *proceeds to mischaracterize and hate on him*" are examples of uncalled hate speech. Literally why use HIM most of the time as an example when talking about negative things?? At this point that’s not even a coincidence anymore, but a pattern, which is truly giving fan behavior.

Such people are really the worst. Reminds me of how some fans still think it’s okay commenting stuff like “This is great but I don’t like *inserts thing the OP obviously likes*” or “Not trying to be mean but *starts being mean*”. Respectfully, who even asked for your opinion? Mind your own business and learn basic etiquette.

I voted for Bro in the “who is the worst poll” because I assumed it is who is the worst “person” not who is the worst character or who is the character we hate the most (I can’t stand Cronus or Calliope. If you would have put Ult. calliope I would have jumped on that shit.) I voted Bro because of things Dave said throughout the story. One being Dave seems too into incest.

And there was something Dave said during Act 6 to Dirk directly. One of them being the “he shouldn’t have been around children” line. Then they added to the epilogue that Dave had respect that Dirk choose to end his life because Dave saw it as Dirk not wanting to be the person Dave warned him he could become and John undoing that choice would deny Dirk “his personal autonomy.” Even though I mostly ignore what the epilogue chose to do, I still think it had some relation to the original story. There’s even more things in the story that make me think Dirk is a predator too but I don’t want to draw this out any more. I still think it’s a strong possibility (I’m like 80-90% sure of this) that part of the story is that Bro diddled Dave before he turned 13.

Interesting. People had always thought of Bro to be a pedo. There's even an implication he had used Dave in smut filming with his puppets. Nobody ever thinks Dirk would have much predator traits. Probably because he is the same age as Jake and the others. At best, his actions at best seem more destructive (fitting for the Prince of Heart) than predatory. Some may think Lil HAL fits more in line with the predatory nature since the AI was also there to help execute and orchestrate the plans, even behind Dirk's own back. Would have love to put in Calliope or Ultimate Calliope, but I doubt she would get any decent amount of high votes considering the fanbase still believes she reps the "good fandom". Some even don't mind Ult Calliope taking over Jade's body. That's how much they hate Jade in general too. So then, may I ask this question. Why did Bro slice the meteor in half to save Dave when he needed to enter the game? Was it really just a moment in the flash to make him look cool? To save himself? Would Dave have entered the game after the egg breaks when the meteor struck?

Secondly, how did Davesprite escaped from Jack Noir after Bec got prototyped? Bro got killed by Jack after said prototype. Davesprite got wounded, but managed to escape. How? The likely answer was that Bro was able to protect him, even if Davesprite had sustained injuries. Which follows up on this.... Why? Why did he save Davesprite? What reason did he have to if he's not technically his brother from this timeline? And if one says that Davesprite ran away after getting hurt to leave Bro behind, why isn't cowardice or something like vengeance mentioned from Davesprite in the narrative by the time he joins with John and Dave in the ship? There nothing that hints of this even with Davepetasprite^2. Remember. Everything from Act 1 to Act 5 pre-Cascade, happened all the same. From John not getting the other present in Dad's car, Vriska creating the inevitable Jack Noir, Dad and Mom still dying, Murderstuck... everything still happened the same in both pre and Post Retcon. So Bro doing stuff like slicing the meteor and fighting Jack happened regardless of Retcon. Some also see Dave being a bit unfair towards Dirk when they meet during that speech. Dave is basically telling Dirk that it is likely every version of his Bro would become a bad person no matter what. That even if he and Bro are offshoots from each other, a version of Dirk will become that monster. He does not know what life Dirk had trying to grow up alone and trying to base Alpha Bros' actions and personality through the ironic movies. We barely even know if Alpha Bro himself was a good person too. Alpha Bro knew about The Condesce's plans and actions to take over the world. But all that guy did was make movies with subliminal messages saying how bad Betty Crocker, made money off it, and then when shit really hit the fan, he finally decided to join with Alpha Rose Mom to kill ICP and then dying To Condesce. Doesn't it question on why didn't Alpha Dave Bro kill The Condesce sooner since people on Earth had already adored him for his movies? Was there reasons for him not being able to approach Sea Hitler as she is, even with his own training to be as stealthy and fast like how Bro was? It's not like The Condesce can mind control humans. It has been shown and stated that even something like Vriska's powers, she can't control humans. Was part of him making so much money was to secure Dirk a good living condition since he would be rich? That can't be because the world has gone to shit and Dirk had to defend himself from The Condesce's army. Maybe it's because I am on the side that doesn't think Bro was that much of an abuser and that anything within Act 6, especially by Post Retcon, is shit that I cannot take seriously. But it still makes me wonder about Bro's last appearance in the timeline as well as what Alpha Dave was like past his achievements and demise. And if Dave really need to go on like that to Dirk.

I am here to rant yet again. I try to not be on the bird app more than I need to, but Jimin is my ULT along with JK and his first solo album is coming out (I have been waiting for this day since 2015), so I am of course now full on promoting his stuff. I will go all out for my love, especially if he’s gonna bare his soul to us. I know I will do the same for JJK1. I really like all the members and stream actively for them. But I have so far bought 13 copies of Face from KTown although it financially wrecked me. I am not bragging, everyone supports their artists in their own way, but there are only two people in the whole world of K-pop that I will do this for. It’s Jimin and Jungkook. I digress. I am on Twitter a lot these days, and there are two things I want to voice. It’s not all about Jikook, but in some ways it is.

1. I am baffled by how much the fandom believes in their own version of narratives about the members. Like they have created this version of each of the members and made it into a norm within the community. JK is the baby, golden maknae, RM is the brain, the intelligent one, V is the most beautiful, and JM is the cute, smol bean, that need to be protected and is the biggest cheerleader and more. They are truly unwilling to look beyond these roles they have assigned to them. A fine example would be JK responding to someone on Weverse that he isn’t a baby, and folks turning that into a meme. “If not baby, why so cute” or whatever that gag is. I see why one would think that way, coz you saw the members often treating him as their little one for years. But here’s the catch. He is their little one, he’s not yours. I am a 1997 liner and I fkn hate when someone treats me like a child. Now imagine a whole fandom treating you as a baby (important to note that he’s also the victim of the extreme opposite-hypersexualisation). People making translated essays on why he shouldn’t drink, why he should seek out work? He’s not your child. They have all grown so much, so can we also grow along with them? The most pressing one for me is the way JM is presented. I feel like people love him when he’s a cheerleader. Cheerleader for army, for members, for 4th gen groups, whatever. I have been seeing many many posts where people are wondering why Jimin gets this much media traction and why he has multiple brand deals, people were even wondering why only his video was played in a Samsung event. Some Ot7 peeps even said that those who they think would make noise isn’t making noise and they are worried if JM leaves his popularity would skyrocket. I even saw people say he has hidden fans. I think there’s some serious tunnel vision at play here. People underestimate his popularity. I am from Asia, and he’s immensely popular here. Like he has my country wrapped around his little pinky. The maknae line in general is more popular than the HL, but people often assume he comes last in popularity amongst the three. That is untrue. Their popularity is interchangeable and Jimin is unarguably the media and brand favourite. Jk is the only one who even compares in that department. V is definitely is a social media legend, all his posts have 10 million something likes, and that’s A FIRST. But the fandom thinking JM is getting unfair traction amongst media and brand is ridiculous, he’s always been that. Outside the fandom, Jimin is IT for people. Outside army narratives, Jimin is the recruiting fairy. He’s to K-pop what Naruto is to anime. Twitter muted his name because they thought it’s a common word years ago, that’s how much attention he gets every time he steps out. Also the fandom’s complete detachment to the Korean side of realities. He’s their national treasure. They love him. And once again, JK is the only one with a Ismaili appeal. I am rambling, but what do you mean my hidden fans? What do you mean company fav? He’s very well known to the outside world. He’s cool when he brings you locals into 875 but not when it helps his own solo career? Same with JK getting that FIFA opportunity, they wanted him specifically (not OT7), why does that upset you? He’s a crazy good performer and has heavy mass appeal. He deserves it.

2. This is coming from a place of vague concern. I have been seeing Blinks and Army go at it for the last two weeks. Now Blinks did start a few unnecessary conversations. Like offering to play Lana songs on the day of FACE release. Diminish Jimin’s impact as Dior ambassador, coz Jisoo paved the way??????? Even call out Tae for not being attractive (now be for real, you have to be actively blind or full of hate for you to think V isn’t beautiful. He has an insanely symmetrical face and he is very charming), even accusing JK of being depressed or whatever. But bro Amis go at them girls just as harsh. Jennie seems to be on the receiving end of most of it, because she’s also their IT girl. Now IDK if Jennie and Tae ever dated, we will never know for sure, but from what I have seen and how both companies didn’t clear any allegations despite them both being superstars did create some doubt in my mind. They have at least been in the same circles, and that worries me. If they are indeed together or even just friends, will ARMY take back all this shit they have spewed? I am not talking TROLL accounts, I am talking big ass OT7 accounts with thousand of followers just outright slutshaming her. How would you live with yourself if they are at some point together? Wipe your accounts clean?

Every time I am on Twitter I am reminded why I deleted the app, I shall do the same again once Face is out. Till then, Jimin lockdown.

A study in Star Rail Simulated Universe Elation resonance damage boosting, using entirely unfair means of comparison and well... I'm just happy the f2p challenge gang is doing so well now. The first pic is Blade showing off his follow-up on my main account, but he's actually outdone by the f2p gang in the second and third pics using Jing Yuan's follow-up and ult respectively.

I hate that fucking deer boss so bad and it is an absolute joy to repeatedly send it back to the hell that spawned it... mostly because I need to farm the relic ornament rewards from that world level. I would say both groups clear the fight in roughly the same amount of time, though I haven't actually timed it and results will vary with the buff cards anyways.

i love this question so much i too love hearing haechan praise this is gonna be so long anon

art is everything to me, and everything about him is art. the way he dances, the way he sings, the way he carries himself, the way he thinks.

what first caught my attention about haechan was his dancing. i just absolutely love the way he moves, elegant and powerful, fluid and sharp. it's never an either or, or a but. it's one distinctive trait in addition to another distinctive trait. i like that it shows how hard he works to train and practice when he dances. you can clearly see the influenes of ballet (and sports dance and jazz dance and modern dance) in the way he always keeps his hands open and relaxed (which i love so much. i think this draws the eyes into his body and movements and allows for a more guided map of how to look at his performance). there also some very distinct haechan characterstics of his dancing like the emphasis of his hips, the way he turns, and his very very clean footwork. like if you ever needed to learn how to do the hello future chorus choreography just look at his fancams because that's what i did. there's something in the way he dances that's so captivating and i really enjoy it!

now, his voice. haechan sounds like if i had a dream about all the good things in life, or i had the greatest epiphany in the world. but sometimes he also sings like i'm about to go straight to hell with the thoughts i'm currently having and my mother would be so ashamed of my decades of catholicism is just going down the drain. his voice is such a unique tone that i can pick him out from a yelling crowd. it sits higher than most but in a tinny? or nasally? way. i think it's because of the slight rasp and roughness that he mixes in that contrasts really well with the softness and pitch, and it just results in most (or majority, if not all) of his parts becoming killer parts of songs. he puts a lot of effort into embedding the feelings and storyline into a song (see: no longer studio recording) which i so very much enjoy. he's an extremely talented singer and i love him <3

so his dancing + singing just makes for a performance that you just have no choice but to applaud. some people are better at singing and some are better at dancing but i genuinely believe that he's so good at both that it's unfair to place him in one (1) category. as what they say, he's the best dancer among strong vocalists and the strongest vocalist among great dancers. haechan is, undoubtedly, a genius performer. his facial expressions + innate confidence in both himself as artist, his vocals and his dancing + command of the stage and the audience is just phenomenal.

the reason why i put so much stock in performance is the fact that he's an entertainer. it's his job to do it. but then haechan doesn't do it in a way that's like, "i'm doing this solely because i have to," because you can tell that he genuinely loves what he does. he loves singing. he loves dancing. he loves to perform. he was born to be on that stage, i can't picture him anywhere else, it's just where he belongs. the stage was made for him.

aside from the idol aspect, his persona is just something that i enjoy. like if he was just some guy he'd 100% be my friend. the way he teases and just generally enjoys to be a nuisance towards the people he loves (who, obviously, love him back) is just so me like we're two mirrors facing each other. i love that he's so openly affectionate to other people and he's never ashamed to show his love. yes i think he's funny and yes i think i just like him so much that everything he does is funny but that also literally everyone else in nct. he opens his mouth and everyone's either smiling in anxious anticipation or exasperated fondness for whatever bullshit that's about to come out his mouth.

lastly, i really admire his mindset. he's talked about hate comments before and how it's fun to read them because he knows it's not true. like the level of confidence and self-awareness is just? he knows he's a good singer. he knows he's a good dancer. he knows he's damn good at his job. what are bitter comments gonna do to him? i like that he specifically says that he knows how to sort things between constructive criticism and just plain old hate messages. learning how to do that (at least in my experience) is learning which parts of yourself and which part of your artistry is vulnerable to criticism, actively working on it and being better that you just know at your core that it's not true. it's knowing that you're flawed and far from perfect but you won't stand for other people discrediting your hard work.

i think i like him so much because i see so much of myself in him and at the same time i see so much of what i want in a person in him. he's both who i am and who i want to be. i don't think he's perfect or that he isn't capable of ever making mistakes but i genuinely believe in his talent and artistry and character that i can proudly say i wholeheartedly support him and that isn't something i would say to other artists. as long as he's making art i don't think i'll be going anywhere honestly i'll just follow him wherever he goes lmao (holo i love you please come soon i need him on a solo track)

anyway this was super long i am SO SORRY but also it was so therapeutic for me to talk about haechan at length so i really enjoyed this thank you for asking!!!

They twinked a lot of characters because bones decided to animate it differently than they had other mangas at that point. Usually, they were super good with staying on point with the style of the manga like noragami or vanitas or fma but GODDAMN THEY DROPPED THE BALL INTO ACID OR SOMETHING WITH BSD. harukawas style is so fluid and beautiful so maybe it would be harder for them to animate, but the extreme body changing I just hate. It's not only dazai ofc there's several other characters that got nerfed but dazai they sillified and twinkified and that has made me so sad.

I also just want to see them all lined up with their body types and SPIKE SPIEGEL FITS DAZAI SO WELL?? COWBOY BEBOP IS ONE OF MY ULT FAVS AND DAZAI AND SPIKE ARE WEIRDLY SIMILAR YOU GET IT!!!!!!!!!! The body type is broader shoulders and a slimmer waist (which tbh is just more of a masculine body type ik) is what dazai has but bones makes them look so...sick and skinny. I'm the world's biggest hater for them taking away the broad shoulders. like I think dazai has a natural classic beauty to him that makes him pleasant to look at because he's got an easy-to-digest face, but he is ultimately handsome. I have a few artists that have drawn him perfectly in my mind and it fits with his description of being a tall, lean, handsome man [look up @byuntaman on twt their dazai and chuu is perfect] I don't see him as very weak because there really is no basis to it when you are comparing him to chuuya. Chuuya's job was to bring the brawn and he was expected of that from the time of being with the Sheep, so naturally, when he's in the mafia he's going to keep up his reputation of being THE STRONG DUDE. It's unfair to compare Dazai to him tbh. Also, the pm trains their members, I'm guessing Dazai would go through that because Mori is not going to be willing to lose him from lack of prep. Yes, dazai is smart, but smarts don't get you out of a chokehold T_T.

I could rant about this all day long, but I think people just live with silly dazai too much and forget he's a capable person who can also defend himself and not just by manipulating the situation. I actually started biasing vernon officially when I saw his radio interview with shua Years ago, where he was talking about his mom and his sister. It was so endearing to me the amount of love and kindness he exuded and I feel like it’s only gotten more and more intense as time has passed. And then of course I got to know him even more and loved everything, he’s so funny and talented. I wavered in stanning svt for a few years because I was so overwhelmed w life but tried to keep up with vernon regardless!

As a multi I’m always on the lookout for svt/ptg/skz crumbs bc their my ults 😞💖 especially seventeen and pentagon! I adored their friendship since my pre-carat days— esp JunYan 🥺 I fell for Jun bc he took care of Yanan so well 😞 he’s so sweet and thoughtful when Yanan wasn’t feeling well. when he had to leave the show, Jun didn’t choose another partner bc he wanted to stay partnered to Yanan iirc (and smth about it being unfair for everyone) and I found it so brave and considerate of him like it made me cry 🥺 Junhui is many things but I’ll always remember him as a friend with a good heart bc of his friendship w/ Yanan.

JEONGHAN: he's extremely close with joshua, so he's more annoyed at himself for feeling annoyed at your reaction. if he thinks about it logically, it's your first seventeen photocard; of course you'd be happy regardless of who you got. still, he can't help but feel like it's an opportunity lost. imagine how much he could brag about fate bringing you two together if you got his photocard on your first try? "wow," you say for the sixth time that minute. not that he's keeping track. you tilt the card back and forth in the light, peering up at it with curious eyes. yes, josh is handsome, but come on, can't you pay a little bit more attention to your boyfriend? "so are we going to watch tv now or do you want to continue staring at your new pretty boy?" he asks coolly, waving the remote from the other end of the couch. and really, with your ability to improvise, it really shouldn't come as a surprise that you're able to immediately respond, "continue staring at my new pretty boy." "alright, so i'll—" his head whips to you. "huh?? okay, well, two can play at that game. you keep looking at that card while i go to his room and look at the real deal. you and i are on different levels."

JOSHUA: watch out for this one — he is the most unfair. he comes by early to pick you up for a date and happens to overhear you and your friend exclaiming over something. "what are we excited about today?" he asks, amused as he kisses the top of your head. you know josh, so you're ready to brush it off and move on, but your friend blurts out that you just got a jihoon photocard that you've been wanting and that woozi's been your ult bias for so long and isn't that great? "wait a minute, you never told me your bias was jihoon??" your friend shuts up then, deciding that it's better to just say goodbye and leave instead of cleaning up their mess. "well, he's one of my biases. so are you. which carat has just one bias?" "your friend said he's your ult bias, though." he raises his hands, placating. "which is totally fine, by the way. totally cool. i like him a lot, too." you squint at him. he only plays the mr. suave part when he's up to something, and you swear you can see a mischievous twinkle in his eye. "josh...where'd my photocard go?" "i dunno, baby." "dude, i can literally see you putting it — don't put it in your pocket, it's going to get bent!"

JIHOON: he has an incredibly soft spot for seventeen, but you kind of set yourself up for this reaction when you post a picture of your new seokmin photocard with the caption: his smile lights up my days! as much as he tries not to read into it, he ends up sulking in bed over it all day, and that's how you find him when you visit that afternoon, still twisted in his blankets with the blinds closed. everyone around him knows he's cute — have you seen his wooahae?? the problem is that he doesn't think he's cute. at least not cuter than mr. sunshine personified lee seokmin, which just sends him down a spiral of thinking you're better off with someone else if that's what you're looking for. "that's not what i'm looking for, though," you say gently, and he realizes with a start that he said the last part out loud. you put your knees on the bed until he scoots over to make room, and when you're both settled, you lean your head on his shoulder. maybe he's just whipped for you because having you here, having you this close, has him breathing easier than before. "do you want to tell me what you're upset about?" "hmm, no. i think i'm okay now." "you sure?" "yeah. i'm sure."

SEOKMIN: "look, look, i got a seungkwan card!" you coo, waving it in front of his face. for a second, he's just as excited as you because he loves it when you're happy, but hey...shouldn't you be collecting his? "i think you should trade it for a better one," he tells you, all matter of fact. "hmm, you think?" you flip the card around in your hands. "for sure. this one has a defect." "really??? where?" he points to the center of seungkwan's face and holds his finger there. "right here, don't you see it?" your brow furrows before smoothing out with a soft oh and a laugh. you hit his shoulder. "if seungkwan heard that, you'd be kicked to the ground right now. in fact, i should tell him right now—" "you laughed at it, so you're just as guilty!" "you're the one who said that he was a defect!" you insist, but he's so silly you end up dropping the skit. "okay, fine, since you're so hung up over this, i'll ask my friends if they want to trade any dupes for this card and maybe, maybe—" you pause for good measure "—i'll switch if they have a better seungkwan card." "baby!" he goes into full blown childish mode, which is a sight to behold.

SEUNGKWAN: literally snatches the photocard out of your hands lmfao "hey, give that back!" you push the album to the side and try to grab it from him, but he's already dashing to the other end of the practice room. the boys got you a copy of the latest album and wanted to see your reaction as you unwrapped it because you've been looking forward to the release as much as them. seungkwan was sitting next to you, craning his neck to see the photocard before anyone else. he knows all of his, so as soon as he realized that you didn't get him, it's swiped faster than you can blink. "i'm burning this one!" he yells back at you, running away again. "absolutely not!" you're screeching in response. the boys are rolling on the floor laughing at your antics. he knew he should've insisted on you doing this at home because he can be bitter all he wants about you having someone else's photocard, but in front of all his enemies friends? they're going to clown him so hard for no longer being your favorite, and he's trying to make it through one night unscathed, but all his efforts are in vain when he accidentally drops it in front of chan who scrambles for it. chan holds it aloft. "it's a jeonghan card!!" he announces as seungkwan falls in defeat. of all members...
